Best Painters in Phoenix, AZ

This was the best upkeep/renovation decision I've ever made for my house! Ana and Juan are reliable, on-time, competitively-priced, honest, hard-working, and very communicative. Also- what an AMAZING before and after!
They spent nearly a whole Thursday power-washing, prepping, taping, and scraping (my house was in pretty bad shape!), and then they finished painting before lunch on Saturday. They were quick, but careful and precise, and the paint looked smooth and beautiful. As soon as they finished, I asked for a quote for my pool decking. I can't wait to work with them again!

The McMillan team is unbelievably good.  We found each other accidentally, but the transaction and job was done perfectly!  They painted the exterior of our house and fixed problems in the roof and recoated.  Nelson, our estimator and crew chief was friendly, straight forward about costs and ensured that our satisfaction was priority one.  

Can't say enough good things about McMillan Brothers, and when it comes time to paint the interior, They will be the only company I call.

I contacted Elite Custom Painting and Cabinet Refinishing after a friend used them to paint their cabinets and loved the results. I reached out, and Danny was able to squeeze me in within a couple of weeks.
Danny was very good at communicating everything to me, from timelines, to what needed to be done, to what I needed to do. He even offered some color advice when I said I hadn't made up my mind on colors.
I never met the crew, but my husband was home while they worked and said everyone...Paul, Lori, Andreina and Peter, were very friendly and professional. They were in our home 2 days working on our cabinets and island, and when they were done everything was left spotless and the cabinets...WOW! They look like they came from the factory and are flawless. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have their cabinets painted!

They did an excellent job on my home. We called them and they were over the next business day with an extremely reasonable quote. They were able to book us quickly (had to wait however due to my HOA) the men showed up to do the job and they were very polite and personable. I received a call when they were completed. They did a walk thru with me. There was no mess left at all. They house looked great and my yard was clean non of their trash was left behind at all.  The office called that evening to check on the satisfaction of the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a painter and will use them again in the future.

AMAZING. You don't find contractors like this anymore. The owner comes out himself to walk you through the entire estimate and what work will be completed. Then he himself came back out to inspect at the end and walk through with us. The fact that he went above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied was so appreciated. The quality of the work is also above expectations! They did an amazing job and worked so efficiently! They took care of all the details ensuring our windows were protected from paint and anything else that shouldn't have paint on it. Overall a great experience, a great paint job, and a fair price. I will be recommending this company to everyone we know. Definitely go with this company!!!

Gerardo and his crew are the best! Show up as expected, very thorough and neat.  Picked up doors on Tuesday, reinstalled and completed on Thursday. The difference is remarkable, quality of work, excellent. Would use them again for any project.  Thanks so much

We are so pleased with the results of our exterior painting from IHC.  Professional, competitive, on time, courteous - all in one package.  They even helped us with a couple projects at the last minute.   While prepping, the crew thought of going over to our neighbors' driveway to mask and cover their car.   Who does that?

Prices more than fair, Adam was so easy to work with and get a great quote from. Dates were concrete and never delayed. The workers were so thorough and great at what they did. Will always come back for future business, and think all companies should try to model how Adam does business.

Highly recommend Arizona Family Painting!  Charles was very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to work with - from quote to the final walk-through.  The crew who did the painting could not have been any more meticulous, plus they were so nice and really seemed to enjoy and value their job.

I've had my house about 4 years. The paint & siding had some issues. It increasingly became weathered, chipping paint etc. I found AJ paint from Yelp. Everyone was very professional & kind. They were very prompt & responded quickly. It makes a huge difference. You can see Before & After pictures.

We just had our house painted by John and his crew with desert eagle home improvements. They did an amazing job. The house is beautiful. The paint looks perfect. The painters worked quick prepared the house and cleaned up after they were done. Definitely would call them again. Thank you

I rarely write reviews, but reviews are helpful when consumers look for a great contractor to hire. I hired Top Star to paint my house. I felt that their bid was fair so I hired them. I told Owner Randy upfront that my tenants would not be making any decisions, they  will only be allowing access. I also told him that I wanted my front door stained - not painted. I also agreed to pay an extra $600 to paint the top deck of my patio cover.

When Top Star finished the job, my front door was painted - not stained as I specified and as was contracted. Also, the patio deck that I paid Randy an additional $600 for was not painted. When I questioned Randy about the front door being painted and not stained, he told me that he initially stained it, but he and my tenant agreed it didn't look good stained so they agreed to paint it. My tenant disagreed that he even spoke with Randy about the front door. When I told Randy that my tenant told me that he never spoke with Randy about painting the front door, Randy never replied back to dispute this.

When I asked my tenant if Top Star painted the patio deck that I paid them an extra $600 to paint, my tenant said they had not. I asked Randy why he  had not painted the patio deck, he said that my tenant told him that Top Star didn't have to paint it. My tenant did confess to this and realized he shouldn't have waived off painting the patio deck. I had a discussion with Randy and reminded him that my tenants role was only going to give him access and that they would not be making any decisions. Since when do contractors get approval from tenants? Good thing Top Star didn't go over budget - they would have to pursue the tenant for any additional expenses.

I asked Randy to either return to paint my patio deck or return my $600. He came back out to paint the patio deck and to repaint shutters to match the painted front door that was supposed to be stained. On this same trip he was supposed to power wash some paint marks left on my concrete, but my tenant informed me that he did not power wash the paint from the concrete.

And I feel Randy could have communicated better. I'm very lax on timing because I know people are busy and tired at the end of the work day. But I was at times having to send Randy 3-4 e-mail and text messages over the span of a week or two, only to receive an incomplete response from Randy. Randy should have been apologizing and asking how the problems could be fixed to satisfaction, such as offering to spend an extra 15 minutes to pressure wash my walkways or even a simple sincere apology. Instead, he made it seem as if I was bothering him in asking him to go back out and do the job as was contracted.

In the end, the price was probably fair and the job was satisfactory, so this could have easily been a 4/5 star rating. But making up a story about my tenant agreeing to paint and not stain my front door, allowing my tenant to decide not to paint my patio deck and pocketing my $600 (where's the integrity?!), and not power washing the paint marks justify the 3 stars. To show my appreciation, I typically give a $30-$50 tip for EACH worker on the job, but unfortunately I couldn't justify a tip on this job.

I think Randy (Top Star) would do a good job for his customers - he has good reviews which caught my attention. You may just need to have some patience to have them re-do some of the work as they skip over some details and do not go above and beyond. So if you have extra patience and a little extra time for re-do stuff, Top Star will do a decent job at a decent price.

They called to set up an appointment for 2 days later but never returned the call. Disappointing to say the least. I had another estimate given to me afterwards which we are going to go with.

Ivan and his team did a great job with the exterior paint of our home. More importanly, he was responsive--my questions were answered immediately via text prior to the scheduled work. He had a team of about five, and they worked diligently to get it done in no time. Bonus, his rates are the best! I got four other quotes from other companies, and he beat them all by a lot! Some people say: You get what you pay for, but judging from the results, so far, I got the value of what we paid for and more. I highly recommend Ivan Cruz and his team! Now i just hope he gets into the landscaping design business, too. If he does, I'll hire him in a heartbeat! Ha!

Love them! Glenn the owner takes amazing pride in what he does!!  They painted the outside of our house and he took so much time helping us pick just the right color. He is incredibly patient. They did a wonderful job and we have called him to come back and see if they can do some other things for us. I highly recommend them. I don't think you'll find anyone better!!

Had our the exterior of our house painted after the monsoons subsided and were very satisfied with the work.  The workers did a very thorough job, including patching and repairing exterior prior to painting.  Manuel was very patient with us as we navigated the HOA processes and selected the approved paint.   The crew made suggestions and always kept us updated on the status of the job from start to finish.  We are very satisfied with the completed job.  Will definitely be using them for painting projects in the future and will  be recommending them to family and friends.

Victor showed up exactly on time, was professional and fast. He did a great job wallpapering my bathroom as well as my sisters bedroom. I would definitely use Victor again.

Absolutely useless, I'll try to make this review short because I'm very frustrated from today and especially from this guy. I called  around 11:00 a.m. explaining my situation that I would like for him to come out and see the damage and see if he could actually do a repair to the drywall, he promised he needed to do a measurement and he'd be at my property within the hour. An hour later no one shows up I called him back he says oh he just got finished doing the measurement and that he should be there at 1:03 he just needs to get gas. Mind you I waited til 3 I'm trying to keep a long story short, we went back and forth on text message telling him I just landed in Arizona and needed his assistant and this guy just lied and kept saying he was coming he never showed up nor called. I'm not sure what kind of person would do this I'm not sure if he's a scammer or what his issue is I've never had any interaction with this guy previously he just assured me he was coming he was coming it took from 11:00 I'm writing this review at 4:00 p.m. He still has not showed up but every time I call him he assures me he's coming I could literally can drive to Tucson and back within the time I've waited for this guy. Just keep scrolling this guy is absolutely ridiculous I'm not even sure why he's in business I'm pretty sure those reviews are from his friends and family. Do NOT USE, keep scrolling..a complete A*hole! (See image)

There are not six to seven calls the two calls were for you calls when you never showed up and the other was for inquiry on the job. It actually ended up not being a bad situation I actually got a trustworthy person to come and resolve the issue. I don't understand why you would promise someone when you were coming and not even show up after several hours what is the point of doing that?? it just shows you're just a bad business and a horrible person. I had a hint you were probably a scammer after talking to you try to sell me someone you know who can actually do other things on my home. If you're a scammer just say so and stop acting like you're a real business. Oh by the way I do have the call recordings so if you want to lie about this I could post these up too.  AZ Contractor Regulators will love to hear about this!
