Finish Coat Painting

We have lived in our house for 10 years; we were in need of painting the exterior of our home. My daughter and Son In-law, my Son In-laws brother all have used and recommended Finish Coat Painting. After receiving 3 quotes we did go with them. Victor came out reviewed the scope and details of the project and came back with a more than competitive quote.  In addition to the house exterior we decided to paint our block wall too. The entire job was completed on time - you can  see the pride Victor, Ivan and their crew put into their work. My wife who always finds something that needs to be corrected or touched up - she found nothing - she couldn't believe she could not fine one thing wrong. We could not be happier.

Ivan and his crew just finished up a painting project in our house. I was very impressed with everything they did, from the estimate, schedule, communication and finally the job itself.
They are not a head office company who relies on minimum wage subcontractors. Instead they are a small family company who work together; father son and cousin and 3 friends.
They arrived promptly at 7am and worked in a way that caused minimal disruption to our breakfast and getting the kids out to school. They were very careful moving our furniture and appliances to not scratch our new flooring and covered and masked perfectly. They worked professionally covering imperfections on the walls first then painting, and making sure everything was perfect after they finished. Ivan is a pleasure to work with and we'll certainly use him again.

We went back to them to paint our exterior one year after they painted our interior. Our exterior needed a lot of repairs before painting and they did all of the repairs. It's like a brand new house! They painted our concrete block wall too. Recommend them to a lot of friends!

I don't able to stop myself writing a review for Victor and Ivan. My painting project scheduled to start today. Both of them showed up on time for power wash. Have concerns related to rain forecast this week. Both of them told  me not to worry and gave me multiple options and asked whatever I feel comfortable will go with it. Thus we scheduled the dates. I am feeling bad that they have a tight schedule they adjusted for me. Both are very friendly. Looking forward working with them to complete our painting project. I 100% recommended them before even seeing their work as I am confident they will do great job.

Wonderful crew!  Great price!  Great work!  We had our whole interior painted and we couldn't be happier with the work.

We moved into our new place, and there was one floor that really needed a paint freshen up, in addition to the people moving out left a few things screwed into the walls that needed to be removed.   I put out a few quote requests thru Yelp for painting crews.  The pricing difference was a bit crazy for the same detail (including pictures).  Anyway, Ivan was SUPER responsive, asked great questions, and gave me a quote that was very reasonable.  He was specific with the patches that needed to be made as well as paint color, furniture being moved, etc.   We settled on the details and scheduled the job.

He texted me prior to ensure that we were still a go the day before (which I appreciated).   He also let me know right on time, that he was at the paint store and arrived exactly 15 mins later.   They taped/prepped the area, moving furniture, paintings, etc. and got to work.  They worked quietly, but quickly and now my room looks amazing!  I also appreciated that he accepts Venmo- makes it alot easier for me.

I will definitely use them again when we need painting!

I found Ivan's company on Yelp, and decided to call for an estimate for our exterior house painting project. From start to finish, this was a completely positive experience. Ivan explained every stage of the process, the crew was exceptional, the house and yard were left completely clean and the quality of their work was outstanding... and their price was very fair! We now have the beautiful white house we always wanted. Highly recommend!

Ivan got back to me right away to set up an estimate on a two-story complete  exterior paint job, including some metal fencing and cinder block walls. His estimate was very reasonable, but not necessarily the lowest of the five we received. We were able to agree on a scheduled time about four weeks out from the estimate. The first day he power washed. The second day he and his crew (of three others) did masking and started painting. On day three, they finished painting and cleaned up. They did sealing in the stucco, as well as in some cracks in the cinder block fence. In total, they finished in about 2.5 days. They were thorough, professional, and I recommend them.

A two man team showed up 20 minutes early and worked very efficiently. They did a a great job. Straight lines everywhere without runoff. No mess. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using them for future painting needs.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Ivan. He was responsive, asked good questions and didn't assume I wanted things done one way or the other without confirming with me. He did a perfect and quality job on a complete interior repaint as well as sanding down and repainting closet doors etc. My house feels so clean and fresh now and great care was taken to get an even finish on the walls and no paint splatter or drops.
I have already recommended them to a family member and will be reaching back out when it's time to repaint the exterior of my house.  
I almost forgot, they were able to get scheduled quickly to start the project and finished a day and a half ahead of schedule and did a great job cleaning up after too.

I called Ivan about painting a room for a client who was moving here from out of town.  I needed a very specific date because of the move. When the day came to paint he sent me a text stating that both guys were sick. C'mon really? Both guys?  I ended up having to paint it with a family member because we had no other choice. My suggestion would be to have a backup if you use this company.

Five stars isn't enough! It was so nice to work with a respectable, reliable company like Finish Coat Painting. From the time we contacted them for an estimate, they were very responsive, prompt, and respectful. We had a few delays due to weather, and they made sure to communicate with us about rescheduling. Their pricing was fair, they showed up when they said they would, and did a beautiful job painting the outside of our home. We would not hesitate to use them again for any painting service we might need.

Ivan and his team painted my home a few weeks ago. I keep forgetting to leave my review. Finish Coat Painting was awesome. First off, the estimate I received was reasonable and I wasn't charged extra for choosing an accent color. They arrived on schedule and finished in one day. I think about 5-7 guys were on the job so they finished super fast. There were some areas where the prep wasn't done right but one call to Ivan, solved! He had one of his guys come out and redo the whole area. Im very happy with Finish Coat Painting and will call on them again whenever I need it.

I would like to highly recommend Finish Coat Painting. We were looking to paint the exterior of our house and went out for several bids.  From the very start our interaction with Victor at Finish Coat painting was very positive. Victor, showed up on time and listened to all our needs. The bid we received was very competitive. We paid a little more because we were drastically changing the color from brown to a white/gray color.  Victor, worked with us and brought samples so we could see them on the house in different light before confirming our color. Last thing you want is to paint your house and hate the color. The choice was clear, we were going to go with Finish Coat Painting. It took a couple of weeks to get on the schedule. Great communication, quality work, excellent price, will hire again

Ivan and his team did a great job with the exterior paint of our home. More importanly, he was responsive--my questions were answered immediately via text prior to the scheduled work. He had a team of about five, and they worked diligently to get it done in no time. Bonus, his rates are the best! I got four other quotes from other companies, and he beat them all by a lot! Some people say: You get what you pay for, but judging from the results, so far, I got the value of what we paid for and more. I highly recommend Ivan Cruz and his team! Now i just hope he gets into the landscaping design business, too. If he does, I'll hire him in a heartbeat! Ha!

Ivan and his team were impeccable.  Fast response time for a bid and exceptional painting skills.  Very respectful of our home as they masked off areas to be painted.  Can't say enough about his courteous team, and a great value.  Very reasonable pricing and high quality work.  Already having them return for a bid on our exterior.  If you're getting multiple painting bids, be sure Finish Coat is one of them.

Finish Coat Painting did a phenomenal job with the interior painting in my home. Ivan and his crew came in and finished painting a 1500 sf home in a day. Ivan made suggestions on placement and best finishes for my layout. Very pleased and my home was sold very quickly and I'm pretty confident that the amazing paint job aided in the quick sell and multiple contracts.

So it took me 18 years to finally paint my house. I had to save for over a year and I wanted it done right. These guys did a really good job. My neighbors have all said it pops. It took them a day and a half. They were fast, clean, respectful. Ivan responds to emails quickly, and he answered all my questions. I will try to put up some before and after photos for you to see.

Brothers Ivan and Victor are very professional and efficient. They maintained great communication while scheduling due to hold ups on my end. A crew of three men finished a small condo in less than a day! The color looks great! They attended well to detail and cleaned up afterwards. The price was very reasonable. I will use them again.

Victor and the crew painted the full exterior of our house and doors, all trim, and eaves. He even did the interior side of my exterior doors and mailbox. The work was on time, quality work at excellent pricing! If you're considering a painting job don't hesitate to hire Finish Coat Painting. They even threw in some off our block fence walls so the color would look nice from the front of the house. The work looks beautiful and we are so happy with our curb appeal now!!

These guys started out great, and I was impressed.   They showed up when they said they would, and taped up the rooms nicely, and were diligent workers.  That was all great.   There were several problems however which were really bad, unfortunate for all concerned.   First there was an issue with paint colors.   I expect they were thinning their paint out because even after two coats over the very light colors that were underneath, the underneath color was bleeding through and so the walls looked tacky.   They did do additional coats on some rooms but it did not help.  I have not had this problem with other painters over the past 40 years.   Maybe they are trying to squeeze more profit out of every job now and are using low quality or diluted paint.   Second, they told me they could duplicate a Benjamin Moore color I liked using Sherwin Williams paint, so I said ok.   They put the paint on, and I thought it didn't look right, so I went to BM and bought the actual color, and it certainly was wrong.   They did come back and do that over.   Third, they told me they would use low VOC paint.   It certainly was not, as there were strong fumes in every room and it was particularly unpleasant sleeping in my bedroom which had just been painted.   I've been using low VOC paint for the last 2 places I lived and there's a huge difference in smell.   Third, they painted a door the wrong color, way off (white instead of the previously agreed light green).  They said they would come back and fix it, which they have not done, despite me texting twice and leaving a voicemail.   I simply have gotten no reply.    Overall, I would not recommend them.   I haven't those kinds of issues with other painters.  Life is too short to sign up for problems.   I find it sad because the guys themselves were very pleasant.

Ivan and his crew did an amazing job on our office interior paint. He estimated two days and did it in one. His price was half the estimate of everyone else I called. They were professional and very clean. We are very impressed with their work.

Victor, Ivan, and Jose all own the company together - they are very trustworthy, professional, punctual, young guys.
