I have been using Shields since I purchased my home in Paradise Valley. Wayne and his sons are great. They always find a solution to every single electrical issue I have had and are very reasonable. They are very nice people as well and always a pleasure to work with.  If you NEED him he will make time for you and come out in an emergency situation. The BEST!

I used these guys for two electric projects recently and I can highly recommend them. Reasonable prices and really great service. Very professional and prompt.

It's always to have the opportunity to recognize great work. Wayne was excellent to work with. He came out initially to look things over and did a great job of listening to our needs while offering good suggestions. A few days later I got a quote which contained the correct work scope and transparent pricing. On the scheduled day, Wayne and crew showed up on time and got the work done. Thanks again

I have used Shield Electric on three jobs in the last 3 months and have been very happy with the service. The electricians are very helpful and really know what they are doing. The office staff is friendly and they make it easy to make appointments.....I also know that they have been in the valley for over 30 years.  That says a lot!!!

Shields Electric has been my go-to electrician for the 6 years I've lived here. The office staff, Mitzi and Laura, are totally helpful. Wayne in particular is amazing, totally competent, willing to stop by between other appointments if needed. I called him yesterday with an emergency circuit blackout and he showed up today early afternoon and totally fixed it.  I wouldn't use anyone else! They are responsive and do great work.  Never a problem.  And Wayne is the BEST!

I had an electrician come out from Shield's to make a repair (summer 2014), and then the issue recurred a couple months later. A different company came out to assess and repair, and claimed the electrician from Shield's had installed a faulty part.

I asked Shield's for an explanation, and have been following up for months now, and have received no response from the electrician.

Poor customer service, and likely poor quality all around.

These guys are great ... a storm damaged our meter mast, and APS wouldn't fix it.  The first 5 electricians never even returned my call ... the 6th said they were booked 4 weeks out ... but Shield's got someone (Wayne) there the same day, who even climbed over a fallen tree to do the work ... highly recommend!

After finding out that my pool pump problem had nothing to do with my pump and everything to do with the wiring I was referred to Shields Electric to fix it.  I was given a estimate of the cost by Brothers Pool Service & Repair but was told it would depend on what the electricians had to do.  Shields had two electricians out the next day to diagnose and fix the problem.  When they were finished they double checked everything to make sure it was working.  When I was told the cost I was pleasantly surprised that it was at the low end of the estimate.  Thank you for the quick response and great job you did.  I will definitely use you again and recommend anyone else needing electrical work done to use Shields Electric.

Excellent service as usual.  They came out to my personal residence a few years ago and were wonderful then and no disappointment this time around.  I am helping a client purchase a property and we ran into some issue with breakers not tripping.  Lane was very helpful in helping me understand the potential issue with the arc fault breakers in the panel which helped me determine my worse case scenarios to expect when having them address issue.  I plan to have them come out to ultimate correct the problem but I always appreciate when someone take a few moments to help me decide what to do...  Their service calls are well worth the money.  I will be sending the repair business their way.

I'll keep this short and sweet, but Shields is fantastic and will now be my go to biz when I need an electrician!

Very professional, reasonably priced ($75 to hang a chandelier), on time and in and out as quick as can be!

We had a number of electrical issues after finishing a major remodel. Brian from Shields fixed all of them and even some we didn't know we had. Great work at a reasonable price. These are now my go to guys

Being a female and trying to find a company out there you can trust at times is hard. Luckily I found this company that has been around for over 50 years. The building itself is in Scottsdale on Earll, but they will send their Electricians anywhere. I set my boss up with them and he LOVED them (which is hard to do at times;) ) They were on time, gave me quote over the phone and kept the price quote the same, which is rare. They do NOT charge a travel charge like a few companies I talked to. Went to drop off a payment with the company at their local office and the lady there was sooooo nice. What a great company. Would use again!!! Thank you for being honest and taking care of your customers, new and old....

Needed an electrician in a hurry. They came right over and helped us in a pinch! Very friendly and helpful electrician, too. You can't go wrong!

Had some power problems in some areas of the house, Brian isolated and fixed the problem, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.  I will call them again for all of my electrical needs.

They have been in business a long time so we wanted to get a quote for an easy job to put in a new electrical line from the circuit box to our new AC unit.  Wayne, the owner, quoted $432.  off  the top of his head over the phone; then when I asked for a quote emailed, there were all kinds of problems.  He was rarely available and he was the only one doing the quotes.  Finally, somebody arrived three days later at 5:30 PM to check out the situation.  I had to call and ask on the following day for a quote emailed to me:  now it was $548.  When I tried to call and ask why the difference, again Wayne is unavailable.  Still haven't heard from him.  It is too stressful to try and do business with this company The lack of response, the unreliability of the quotes, and the attitude that your job isn't big enough to matter makes them a ZERO star in our book and we wouldn't recommend doing business with them unless they see thousands of $$$$ coming their way.  They wasted four days of our time.

i needed today, as i said today to have 2 ceiling fans installed. wayne and his partner came out and were quick, efficient, and did the most amazing job. if your looking for a great company, call sheilds.

Shield's was recently out to my house to install 2 bathroom air vents and some other lighting.  Had them add multiple switches to the connections to seperate lights and venting.  They did a wonderful job!!  I couldn't be happier with the work.

I have used Shields for over 19 years.  They are the BEST.  When they do work it my home they leave it sooo clean you can't tell they have been here.  They are are on time and very polite.  I would NEVER use anyone else.
