Had an issue replacing a cartridge for my bathtub, resulting in having to turn off water to the house late on a Sunday.  Called Second Opinion, and they had someone out first thing the next morning.  Charles was fantastic. Professional and friendly, and he explained each step of the fix, so that I could do attempt it myself if I ever needed to.  Price was reasonable and the work is warrantied.  VERY happy with this experience.  Will definitely use this company again.

Phend plumbing, Pete and the whole team are excellent. They care. They provide quality service. If something needs fixing, they get it done. They provide excellent communication and customer service. We've used them several times for several different types of jobs and they're always excellent. I imagine we'd be hard pressed to find a better plumbing service here in the valley.

I had this company come out to install a water heater from my Home Warranty Company, A few days went by, and failed to keep the appointment. Finally around 7 PM he called saying that he was on his way. Almost 11PM and he was still here. To my surprise, or not, he had to comeback due to a defective part. I made the mistake to pay in full, as of today almost 3 weeks later, have yet to hear from them. Customer service and follow through are a must to stay long time and business.

When no one else would come over  to give me  an estimatement.  Awkward hours, weekend and all Freddie showed up took care of the problem which was just a plugged up toilets would you had to climb on the roof to run it down at Vent.He gave me a price that I couldn't believe. It's an older house so I have problems and he told me the problem I was having my wife putting tissues down the toilet after awhile build-up clogged up and stop up and that do get expensive.  It's been 3 months since he did this work and I've had  medical problems. I told him I would take the time to put it in Yelp, so I'm honoring what I told him I would do that's how impressed I was by his work and his manners. He took care of me didn't overcharge me in in today's world that's worth something.

Rocco was super helpful in getting my hot water heater replaced. After my home warranty denied my claim, i called Rocco and he was very helpful in figuring out what I needed to buy since I elected to purchase the water heater, pan, and expansion tank at Home Depot with my own discounts. After letting him know I'd like to have him install my water heater on a Monday afternoon, he was able to schedule me in for Wednesday morning. His charge for installing the drip pan with a line outside, the water heater, and expansion tank was very reasonable and I likely saved over $500 vs having one of the other companies who quoted me for the same job. Highly recommend!

The 5-star review is for Bob. First of all, I must state that we did not use VETSBuilt for our home remodeling because we need more assistance in the design aspect of the project. Otherwise we will not hesitate to use his services as Bob always responds in time to our phone calls, text messages and emails. He is straightforward and honest with what he can or cannot do for us and in the cost estimate. I imagine it won't be too hard working with him on a project.

I have used Babcock plumbing in different homes I have lived in. Their service and attention to detail is second to none. From the first call to set up appointment to finished results it is always a smooth process. They are a family owned business that values true customer service.

Quick reply & fantastic service for a residential sprinkler head leak. Nick Hollander also flushed the system & replaced a valve because Scottsdale water will clog up everything.  He was informative, quick & cleaned up afterward.  Great to find a contractor that knows their trade. Thanks. JJ

I put in a request for plumbing bids thru Yelp quotes.  My issues were clogged kitchen drain and need new backflow preventer.  Master Rooter was one of many businesses who responded to the request Yelp sends out (I have no control over who Yelp pick).  Master Rooter they could come and give me a free estimate.  When the very young redhead kid named Parker showed up (he was masked) he went up on my roof with a snake and started snaking.  I thought, it sure doesn't look like his actions up on my roof, after about free estimate.  So I told Parker it looked like he was already doing the work, when all I wanted was a free estimate.  He said something about $39 for drain clearing for first time customers, not for the estimate.  Cos another company wanted to charge me $39 for the estimate, so I got mixed up.  I said I didn't know a thing about $39 to clear a drain.  I had another appt with JNR Plumbing (I think he is unlicensed) who quoted me $300 for both replacing the backflow preventer (which other businesses quoted $497 and higher just for that alone) and clearing the drain, and I already gave JNR the job, but he couldn't come till 5 days later.  

So I said OK go ahead and clear the drain for $39, at least I don't have to not use my kitchen sink for another 5 days.  

Well Parker could not clear kitchen drain from the roof, so he had to take apart the U and put the snake in the wall under the kitchen sink.  He said my P trap was too low and deep (my neighbor didn't have the right parts, put in an extension).  Parker said he would correct it for $60.  Since he had the parts on his truck, I negotiated him down for my 70th birthday which was last Sunday to $50  He finally agreed to $50, cos he said the book says $150, but he was very reluctant.  

Oh, the $39 includes another crew that will come back with a camera to make sure the drain got cleared.  No extra charge for the camera, which Parker says is valued at $250 just for the camera visit alone.  

The $39 deal is one-time first drain clearing customer only.  He cleared my drain.  

Parker did research at my house and quoted me $425 to replace the backflow preventer.  

I was going to give a 4 star review.  But Parker was so professional and showing me how to flush my new water heater, and how I should do it every 6 months for the first 3 years, showing my water pressure was, and needs pressure regulator, and other helpful advice, like what enzyme to use in my drains to prevent clogging, I am giving 1 extra star to 5 stars for Parker.  Also getting my drain cleared without having to wait 5 days and probably pay more, is definitely worth the $39.  Parker was very polite.   I would hire him for MY business.  Also, Master Rooter came in 1 day, other plumbers told me they were backed up for 2 weeks.  

My total bill for clearing the kitchen drain, and changing the P trap to a less problematic situation only cost me $89.  Pretty good for a licensed plumber who has to support about 14 trucks.

The camera people came on Monday between 12 and 4, but they could not get the camera into the pipe where the clog was because the pipe was too narrowed and deteriorated.  Also the camera crew quoted to replace my backflow preventor, much more than what Parker quoted, like $570.  I had it done by P&L Plumbing for $350.

The Aussie Plumber really saved the day last week during an emergency without breaking the bank! Sewage drain backed up while hosting out-of-town guest for a birthday celebration. Never experienced this sort of thing before. The gal that answered the phone was extremely pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable.  Received text messaging confirming appointment, technician, arrival times, and other updates all the way through completion. Troy arrived on the scene within 2 hours and was very professional and courteous. Provided an affordable estimate and backed it up later with camera footage to show where the tree roots had busted through the pipes and another area of concern. Troy worked hard for more than 2 hours to clear the problem areas and ensured each interior drain was unobstructed to the main city connection.  The owner, James, also came by to assist and was just as pleasant and knowledgeable.  Thank you Aussie Plumber for getting rid of the ick and allowing the celebration to continue.  Highly recommend these folks for any plumbing needs!

Been shopping around for plumber to install my 2 bidets and couple responded that will cost me arms and legs. Did call Al's plumbing came in the same day and even after seeing how easy the installation will be he lowered his price.

This is an update to the busted hot water pipe under my slab:

After the locator, Tutko came to the home and proposed a solution to reroute pex piping through the attic and to rebuild the manifold ( this is where multiple pipes run off to feed kitchen, bathroom etc).

With the fault located, Tutko was able to isolate and seal off the bad pipe and restore hot water to all but the guest bath.

I was offered a date 2 days and 5 days away- we chose 5 days as that worked better for us.

AJ and Asst. Alex came at the promised time and got right to work. Informing at each stage when our water might be going off/on

Within 5 hours the new lines for both hot and cold ( just in case at my request while they were here. ) water were completed and the removed drywall taped in place. Shop vac and broom to clean up the worst of the junk.

I had not been warned that bits of copper and crud would block the aerators/filters in the downstream taps, so I had to remove and clean them.

I would call and will recommend Tutko plumbing to anyone

We used Danny Boyd on a recommendation from another contractor. We were not disappointed! Boyco was prompt and incredibly knowledgable about what the best way to accomplish our needs for the least amount of money. They even worked us back into their schedule when my DIY project didn't work out!  I cannot recommend Danny and Rhonda highly enough!

We have recommended Boydco to two additional jobs and will continue to do so. We have found our plumber for life!

Dan Harper was great. He did all he could to keep the cost down. He explained everything that he saw and what needed to be done. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Excellent customer service!!! He told us what the next step was needed and never pressured us to get anything done we couldn't afford. If there were Zero stars I would rate that. I had a tech come out on Saturday 3-27-21 to do a routine service check of my AC on ground and Air Handler in attic. My unit is only 3 years only and is a Bryant 5 ton and Carrier air handler. I was told I need a capacitor on my unit outside the Bryant.  Now I know these thing do only last about 3 to 5 years so I knew I might be due. The tech quoted me $498 to replace it. I was floored and he tried to do his best on explaining the cost. I asked for the part # and he was hesitant to give it to me. I did finally get the quote and I looked up the part # on line and the capacitor was $65 at Home Depot. This is a 5 minute fix when you have the part. I gave them they $49 service call and called another company who replaced it for $50 total. The capacitor Hobaica quoted me wasn't even the correct part. I called Monday morning to nicely express my concern with the manager and got the same song and dance. He really didn't care but I felt a sense that he knew I was on to them and told me his cost on the part was $120. Still $498 to put in something that took 5 minutes was crazy. Beware of Hobaica.

Called Go Direct & Sewer after reviewing all other plumbing services...sorry to say there are lots of plumbing companies with horrible reviews, especially with the service I needed, which is the main sewer line repair.

Spoke to Jorge the owner, and he was the only one, that I spoke to that had the time to explain the process of sewer repairs and the steps needed, which brought peace of mind and a better understanding that I stopped freaking out.

Jorge have solved my sewer problem and it was very, very reasonable and when I asked if he gives military discounts, he gladly reduced my bill.

Go Direct Plumbing & Sewer in Mesa is a small honest plumbing company, so take advantage of it while it's still small and honest, because we all know that as one gets bigger... LOL,
