Kennedy Tile and Flooring

Marion and team removed existing tile, carpet and baseboards and tiled our entire house.  Competitive on price regarding the multiple proposals we received.  Marion made multiple trips to our house during the design process.

The quality of the work and attention to detail was much appreciated. Tile and layout was something that his team did an exceptional job with.  

Very mindful of our home while doing the project and finished a bit earlier than agreed upon.  Communicated well and was very easy to contact.

They left remaining tile and grout for future repairs if needed.

We hired Kennedy Tile to remodel our master bath shower. They were on time and the work that was done is satisfactory. However, several full boxes of tile disappeared from our garage. When I asked the installer what happened  to the tile he told me his boss came by and picked it up. When I contacted our project manager, "his boss", he stated he had not picked up the tile and that he would look into the matter. In the end nobody seems to know anything about what happened to our extra tile. No offers were made to compensate us for our loss. I need to be able to trust the workers that are coming into my home so based on this I would not recommend Kennedy Tile or use them for my future projects.

Update: shortly after posting this review Kennedy Tile contacted me letting me know they had found our tile and delivered it promptly.

I am a bit of a shopper.  Probably spent too much time shopping around.  However, when I found Brian at Kennedy Tile and Flooring, it was time to take action and the deal was done.  Trusted him right off the bat.  Great guy and a great team.  I'm old school and love outstanding customer service and that's what I received from these guys.  The job was complete with outstanding quality.  Very very HAPPY.  Highly recommend.  A++

Kennedy Tile & Flooring was everything we were looking for to replace our existing floor. Large selection of tiles to choose from, very knowledgeable and experienced staff, and excellent customer service! Marion took us through the whole process from beginning to end and make sure everything was done timely and right.

Disappointed with our second remodel using Kennedy. The final product looks nice but our furniture they moved was scratched from items/tools left on top while they were working, walls and trim were dinged, garage floor was damaged, exhaust fans had so much floor dust from the removal process we had to replace them and someone drank sodas from our refrigerator and then the owner denied that it was his crew (no one else was in our home during the remodel). They were very responsive to come and replace the dinged trim and scratched tub but nothing else. Was disappointed based on the first time we used them. I think the business has grown so much there isn't the over-site there used to be.

Fantastic company! Marion and his team were professional and meticulous. They remodeled two bathrooms for us in record time. We were very impressed with Marion's ability to turn our design vision into reality. Highly recommend!

Just finished having wood-look tile installed by Kennedy Tile and Flooring.  Marion, who handled my estimate, is very knowledgeable about flooring, answered my question honestly and never tried to "up-sell" me.  He provided me my choices, according to what I was prepared to pay.  Luis, who did the demolition, and laid the tile, did an outstanding job, as did Dave, who installed my baseboards after the tile was installed.

Was my Kennedy tile job expensive?  Well, yes...if you compare what you can get from a slap-dash Mexican crew...and buy your tile directly from a retailer.  However, I wanted folks who could do a great job and Kennedy did that.  

Having said all that, I have to offer a few suggestions that might enhance their business.  My project took exactly two weeks (21 May to 3 June).  Primarily only one guy did the tile install (one other guy shows up for brief periods to help with the demolition of my old flooring).  Having one guy on the job makes for an extended job.  My project was for only a bit over 700 square feet and took two weeks to complete, making it a tiring and tedious affair.  (I slept on a futon in my Arizona room....can't imagine what the expense would be had I paid for a motel for nearly two weeks).  The baseboard job was also a one-man deal.  My suggestion to Kennedy is to put two men on each job, do not pull them away for periods of time to help on other jobs, and you'll end up with happier customers.  Note:  During that two weeks there were also a few disconnects between the workers on site and whoever was supervising the job.

Would I choose Kennedy Tile and Flooring again?  Certainly would, if they'll still have me after this critique.  I was quite happy with the quality of the work and the kindness and courteousness of Luis and Dave.

I recently completed my second flooring job with Kennedy Tile and Flooring.  My first job was performed about three years ago where they replaced all the tile and carpet within my previous home.  After purchasing a new home, I asked Kennedy Tile to replace the carpet and bathroom tile in my current home.  They did a wonderful job on both!

The team within the store provided a great level of expertise on the type of carpet and tile I wanted to go with.  They were quick to come out and measure and within 2 weeks of selecting the flooring the job was scheduled and completed.  I would highly recommend Kennedy Tile for expertise and pricing.

We recently had Kennedy Tile install new tile on our floors and they also  retiled our master bathroom shower. We were very impressed .They brought out their mobile showroom to our home for a free consultation. The mobile showroom had dozens , maybe even a few hundred tile  choices.  We ended up choosing a beautiful 6x36  wood look porcelain tile for the floors and 12x24 tile with a glass inlay for the showers . We received a few other quotes from other  flooring contractors and the big box stores. Kennedy tile was much less expensive and had a larger selection of products. They  provided exceptional service from the intial consultation to the final walkthru. We have received many compliments  on our new tile. We are very happy and will be hiring them again in a few months to replace our bedroom carpet.

A friend of ours recommended Kennedy Tile to us when we decided to replace our old, dated tile with a more modern wood plank tile. We love the results, and are very happy with the quality service that we received.  Everyone we encountered was very friendly,  and helpful. We definitely recommend!

Brian and his guys did my floors, they look amazing and I couldn't be happier. I felt like I got a great price without sacrificing quality work. I would recommend Kennedy flooring to all my friends and family.

Brian did my tile while back, and refused to install epoxy grout. He convinced me that Fusion grout would be as good so I trusted his recommendation. Sadly they installed it poorly, as I could feel the sharp tile edges when barefoot. The Fusion grout also discolored more that than the sanded grout I had prior. I contacted Brian and his solution was to put a layer of sanded grout over the Fusion grout. It has since disintegrated and we are back to the sharp tile edges and the discolored Fusion grout that was beneath. I bought a grout saw and will be removing it all myself. Then I will find a qualified installer to install the epoxy grout that should have been installed from the start.

Best tile place in AZ! We bought shower tile, stacked stone, and special pebble tiles for the bathroom shower. They beat the prices of everywhere and were better priced then our contractors price with other stores. They gave us samples and even order more of a sample to see the difference in patterns. I recommend them 100%

We used Kennedy Tile to replace the flooring in our home. Upon meeting Brian and his team we were instantly impressed. Not only are they honest and hardworking, they went above and beyond for us. They were very accommodating and worked to put the tile in while we were on vacation. They left our home clean, as if they treated it as their own. I will continually recommend Kennedy tile to anyone who needs flooring done. Best in the business!

We found Kennedy tile through Angie's list! And best thing we did! We had a few people come out before they did and out of all of them they were the best priced!!! They started work on our house very soon after our in home consultation. The whole process was very fast and they did an AMAZING WORK!!! the crew was very nice and organized and kept the house clean from the work area. They made our remodeling experience such a great one!!

Kennedy Tile just completed tiling our entire home and it looks great!  We were so happy with the excellent job they did on the floors that we had them tile our master shower makeover as well and the kitchen back splash.  The workers always arrived when they said they would, they were polite and professional, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were done.  Costs were fair and we knew up front the exact cost for materials and labor.  Owner Brian Kennedy was always aware of every step along the way, and his texts were always returned promptly if we had questions.  The entire crew were very professional and did excellent work.  We recommend them with no reservations.
