Mike and his wife Marilyn are an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a flooring mishap with our contractors but after contacting Mike at Millworks, he was quickly able to find a solution. The ways they are able to work with wood is incredible!! We got a herringbone pattern in our front foyer that is jaw dropping. Alberto was such a hard worker and had great attention to detail. My husband and I looked around for someone/company to get our garage floor done for a couple months and they would either never return our calls or set up a time to come look and never show up. Very frustrating to say the least. Until my husband reached out to Preston and we were finally treated with professionalism. He gave us an estimate and put us on the schedule. The guys showed up early on a Saturday and worked all day to finish that same day. They were very nice and knowledgable. They even moved my washer and dryer out of the way and then put them back when they were done. I'm very happy with the final result, the floor was in bad shape, had an old paint that was chipping and also had some wide cracks which they fixed. Now it's all smooth and it has a nice sheen. I would recommend ground control flooring to anyone in a heart beat!

I had this company come do laminate flooring, base boards and door mouldings at our house.  They did a great job and they did it quickly and for a really reasonable price. I will definitely recommend them.

After I hired Frank he left my home a mess and ruined my plumbing The tile was installed uneven and the job wasn't done to my satisfaction, When asked to fix the problems he requested more money from me, My wife and I are very disappointed, I Do not recommend this company

We called around to several different floor installers and received a number of quotes before deciding to go with Floor Covering International. Prior to settling on FCI some other installers had changed quotes on us multiple times for no justifiable reasons. FCI was able to start the installation sooner then everyone else and the installers where a friendly bunch of guys. One of the installers is a budding Pavarotti because he was singing while installing our tile. We fed our installers and kept them hydrated with sodas. The final result is very good and we are quite happy to have a smart looking backsplash in the kitchen. The previous backsplash installer was a handyman from Thumbtack and it was a complete disaster. FCI also installed plank porcelain tile in our front room and tied it into to the rest of our existing flooring perfectly. Looking forward to future projects with FCI.

Joshua gave the project personal attention from beginning to end and was agile enough to jump in to take care of any detail that needed to be addressed. His crew was the best of the best. They were not hurried and had no desire to do anything short of the best job they could do, even at what seemed to be personal expense. Everyone's dedication to the job was inspiring.

Our experience with Custom Floor Covering was a disaster and required legal involvement. First the quality of the workmanship on the hardwood floor installation was defective, and although they ultimately admitted their mistakes and remedied some of it, the time, aggravation, mess, and disruption that resulted took a heavy toll on us. It required taking it up and reinstalling it. We have multiple residential and commercial properties, and to have this get to this level is something we are not used to. Additional damage to adjacent ceramic tiles occurred, and the experience to that point was hostile and difficult, and we were uncomfortable and mistrustful by then, so letting them repair the damaged ceramic tiles was not possible.

Despite attempts to pay the majority of what we owed them, they fought us on deducting the cost of the repair for the damaged tiles. A civil lawsuit resulted, and unfortunately this was during COVID, and our reasonable attempts to reach a settlement with mediation were refused by Custom Floor Covering, Inc, and it proceeded to a virtual trial. This was a mandated virtual trial limited to only one hour, handled by a Justice of the Peace who had never passed the bar exam, and was dominated by mistruths stated by the owner and employees of Custom Floor Covering. I had only a few remaining minutes of that hour to even make a stab at getting to the truth. Unfortunately, the truth never could be shown, then another 70 days went by before a "judgement" was rendered, and it was full of factual mistakes, demonstrating a lack of understanding by this "judge". We then filed a motion of reconsideration, basically just asking her to show us her calculations and get the numbers in her math accurate. This request for reconsideration was denied with a one-word response, "DENIED". There were enough mistakes in the handling of the case at the judicial level that we certainly had grounds to appeal it, but again there is a risk and additional expense and time involved, and at a point, we decided to just cut our losses and give up. Normally not my preference, but we were sick of it.

Custom Floor Covering, Inc, their owner, and their employees will deny all this and say we were too particular, and they will say they went out of their way to agree to what were "our unreasonable personal preferences", and they will deny there was any damage and improper installation whatsoever. That is what they stated at the trial and wrongly it was accepted. Sadly, justice is not always done at any trial, and there is always that risk when you go to trial, but we felt badly violated and assumed a reasonable approach, photos demonstrating the damage, would all logically be understood and make sense. It wasn't, so I bring this up so that anyone considering flooring of any kind will not have to suffer the same experience we did. There are so many reputable companies out there who put the customer first and make their best effort to please you. Mistakes can happen, and we don't expect perfection on the first attempt, but we do expect people to be responsible when they make a mistake and take the necessary steps to resolve it. We expect them to be honest, truthful, and not lie. This was everything but that, it can be much better, and I urge anyone to avoid Custom Floor Covering, Inc. and all the misery they caused us.

I have photos, videos, and abundant documentation to fully support everything I have said here, and I will be happy to share them with anyone to prevent experiencing this unpleasantness.

I love the discounted pieces they offer here. It's definitely worth the investment.  The designs are varied as well so I don't have to stick to the basic ones.

I initially found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. I was given a quote to furnish an interior stone wall veneer for an entertainment center wall. The cost for materials was competitive. They also gave me an install cost. Not knowing the time required for installation, I made the mistake of ASSUMING if the materials cost was competitive, so would be the install cost. HUGE MISTAKE. The install by a third party was  smooth and efficient. The install quote was based on a per square foot cost. In the end, the final accounting amounted to a cost to me of $300/hr for a 2 man crew. Blake at Hardrock Stone & Tile stated I agreed to the per-square foot cost initially quoted, so that is what they would charge. BUYER BEWARE! I guess they expect you to know as much about their business as they do.

I am very impressed with the professionalism and quality of the work completed my GPS. I had water damage from the monsoons and Rudy came out, gave a reasonable quote and was able to start work the very next week. The crew that completed the work were polite, on time, and very efficient and did an amazing job. Also definite shout out to Kimberly! She was on top of the project from the moment I called the office!

Monica was our sales rep and she is awesome!  I shopped two other flooring companies and Monica gave me higher quality product quote for less. We decided to give her our order.  Scheduling was a breeze and the installers showed up when promised.  They were able to remove 300 sq ft of tile, and 700 sq ft of carpet and then install glue down vinyl plank in one day!  The installers were professional, friendly and did a fantastic job installing and cleaning up afterward.  I highly recommend Pucketts Flooring and call Monica for you quote

We used Pelleco Home Design for a kitchen redesign / renovation, as well as laundry room and floor renovations.  Sam was very involved throughout the design and build process. He was very responsive and kept me updated on who was coming to work and when.  

Pricing was very competitive and I really liked that they wanted to avoid change requests as much as I did. Even when unexpected challenges arose, he kept his word and there were zero change requests.  We have worked with other contractors in the past where every little thing was a separately charged piece of work... and that of course extended the timeline for those projects.  

We were back in our new kitchen within 5 weeks!  All of our neighbors commented on how quickly our project was progressing.  We love our new kitchen and we loved working with Sam and the Pelleco team!

The best thing about Zona is that they came out on short notice, helped me with my broken pipe but gave me an estimate below my deductible.  If I didn't have ZONA I would've filed a claim and found out the damage was less than my deductible

I read a lot of the reviews on this company, a lot of them were dated and old. I went to them to get a quote for my current project, after my consult I talked to the manager about reviews. He confirmed that the current reviews are old as they currently have an entirely new sales team besides one. By the end of my project they had me sold and I am a happy customer, he thanked me for my business and that sealed the deal.

my wife bought a laminated from this company and left a deposit of $6200 , after i read some of the review that " i think it was phony  " told the wife may be we should go with another company , she assure me that the bad review is not right , as far i see they are good people and very plied and they will deliver the material on time and that is exact happen, first of all they been in floor covering over 30 years and they have very good installers , and as far as I know (from the same installer ) they install over 20 to 30 homes daily . I highly  recommend this company to every house hold .
