Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona

Classic Millworks Flooring Contractor
I had a great experience working with Marilyn and Gil to make custom stair nosing for my home.  I had purchased a solid bamboo flooring, but the manufacturer did not make stair nosing in this product.

I was recommended to Contact Classic Millworks and met with Marilyn the same day.  She was able to make me a prototype by the next day in order to keep my project on track.

Gil crafted the nosing for my project and was very personable while discussing my project and sharing advice for completing it.

Overall, this is a great family owned and operated business and I highly recommend them.

Giovanni's Custom Flooring and Renovation Flooring Contractor
What a treat it is to have a beautiful shower! We had Frank and his crew come in, and rip out the 'mini' original shower in our master bath and build a new-as well as installing tiling around the tub.

We now have a larger shower and tiled shower floor (both with perfectly spaced tile) and it complements the entire room. If I could, I would host parties in there to just show it off! Frank was very professional and stayed in contact through the entire process. If you get lucky you might even meet the official 'owner', Giovanni. :)

Frank also installed a backsplash in the kitchen. WOW! It makes the whole kitchen look like we remodeled. He went above and beyond to make sure tiles with 20+ different patterns never touched and did not show up near each other. It was crazy time consuming and I have studied it a few times since he finished it. And I can happily say I still haven't seen a pattern mishap.

I highly recommend both, Frank and Giovanni!

Floor Coverings International Flooring Contractor
Initially, we were really impressed with Floor Coverings Int'l  Deb is a super nice and informative salesperson who actually took time to go over the process, help us pick out our designs and offered advice.  They came in lower in price than the three other bids we received so we decided to move forward with them.  Since it was a small job, they were able to get us on the install schedule pretty quickly, which again was a plus for us.  The crew was supposed to arrive at 8:30am the first day of work but ended up not showing up until 11am.  I was annoyed at this because I had taken off work to be there and meet them.  The workers seemed nice, but there was an obvious language barrier that made it very hard to explain to them what tile was going in which room (you would think they'd have notes on this but they looked to me to direct them on which was which).  The install was supposed to take two days, but the workers left early the first day (after showing up late) and left the rest for the second day.  Second day rolls around and they arrive on time and finish up by 1:30pm.  They left the area very dirty (grout debris everywhere, not swept and left the tile and grout outside on my front porch).  It just felt unfinished.  However, we were willing to overlook that as we were happy with the install and how the tile looked.  We had originally paid Deb half the cost of the job to get started which went along fine.  When the job was done, she said she wanted to come by to see the finished project and pick up our final payment.  She gave some days and times that worked and we settled on a date.  That day came and went and Deb didn't show, didn't call, nothing.  A week later she texted and said that instead of her coming by, if I could send her pictures of the job, that would be fine and I could pay for the remaining balance over Zelle.  I was out of town at that time for a funeral for an immediate family member so I told her I'd do it when I was back.  I am so glad I waited.  The day we got home, we noticed that a tile in our living room had cracked near the edge.  It felt like there was air underneath the tile and subfloor and it cracked right through.  I reached out to Deb and she assured me that they would be back out within a few days to fix it.  They did come back (they were an hour early this time and I wasn't home yet so they waited around until I got home) and fixed it right up.  We haven't had any issues since, and have paid the remaining balance.
All in all, we got what we wanted.  I just felt as though there should be more professionalism and following up on designated times and days.  Yes we were a small project, but we felt as though we were an afterthought sometimes because of that.

Bare Renovation Flooring Contractor
Josh came over to help me with a few projects around the house. I needed some drywall work and painting done. He gave me a great price and was very professional throughout the job. I had him come back to do some travertine flooring in my children's bathroom and replace the wall tile around the bath tub. He was very thorough and cleaned up after the project was done so we would have never known he was even there doing work. I would definitely recommend Josh and Bare Renovation for any home improvement projects you have.

Custom Floor Covering Flooring Contractor
If you need new flooring you've got to go here. They have a large selection to look through. Doug and Andy will do everything they can to ensure customer service and satisfaction. I've been so impressed with the friendly and professional service. I had bids from all sorts of places, and as soon as Doug started to talk about carpet, I immediately knew this guy was well educated and passionate about flooring. He conveys his knowledge in a way that makes sense and helps the customer make choices that fit their needs and wants. I've learned that the flooring business is competitive, you can buy cheap from big box retailers who care little about you, you can buy expensive from places trying to run up their profits, or you can purchase smart and between the two from Doug and Andy and walk away feeling you did it right. You can't go wrong with these guys, and if a mistake happens, I bet they will go above and beyond to make it right.

Arizona Floors & More Flooring Contractor
A tough review to write.  A mix of good and not so good.  Some of it is not their fault, also.

In our case we needed to replace some damaged flooring (hardwood).  However, our precise hardwood isn't made anymore (or, rather, they changed it so even though it has the same name/number, it's different).  Nobody's fault there.  To the credit of Arizona Flooring, Robert (the owner, I think) helped find a close match.  It's the same wood species, and the color was very close.  But the texture is different.  It was either that or go with something completely different, so we opted for the "close as we're gonna get" choice.

The install didn't go as smoothly as it should have, in my opinion.  Obviously it is more difficult when there is furniture and baseboards already in place compared to coming in on a bare floor with no baseboards.  They tore out the old flooring, and then put in the new.  It seemed to me this crew wasn't as good as they should have been.  When they were done we could see some of the raw wood in the seams, implying the tongue-in-groove wasn't as tight as it should have been.  This is the tough bit because I can't be completely sure if that was their fault or if the wood itself just doesn't seat quite right.  However, their showroom sample didn't exhibit this problem, and neither did most of our floor when they were done, so I tend to think it was the installers.  They used a caulking material that also served as a stain to fill those gaps and (hopefully) color the wood.

They did manage to do nearly the entire job without ripping out our baseboards (which was nice).  Kudos there.  Though we did end up with some dings and scratches in the paint.

Robert was very conscious of customer service.  So I have to give bonus points there.  He was concerned and responsive, doing his best to rectify any problems and make us happy.  That's a good sign.  As I type this we are awaiting "spare" boards (in case we need any repairs in the future).  His crew didn't leave us a box (and they were supposed to).

We did not try their tiling.  Tile is done by a different crew.  So we can't comment on that.  The install I would have to give 2 stars, but that may have just been the one crew.  Selection in the store was perhaps 4 stars (there was a LOT of wood to choose from).  Robert's concern for the customer is probably 5 stars.  Add it all up and I'd have to go with about 3.5 stars, if YELP would allow it.  I think I'll do 3 stars now, and if I have another experience (maybe for some tile we are thinking of doing) I can up it to 4 stars if it goes better.

Global Prevention Services Flooring Contractor
As soon as I bought a house I learned real quickly how hard it is to find a reliable contractor. I spent the better part of six months talking to flaky companies, companies that wanted to completely gouge me on cost, you name it.
I called Global Prevention Services and told them my situation of wanting to do a very small bathroom remodel and a new window. From the very beginning, Kimberly in the office was communicative with me every step of the way when it came to scheduling and project status. The window was on backorder for a couple of months and they were consistently keeping me updated with its status. Rudy came out to estimate the cost and came back with extremely reasonable numbers and even some recommendations for me when it came to design. Humberto did an absolutely amazing job on my bathroom remodel. I couldn't be happier. He was detailed, took his time to make sure it was perfectly done, and is such a sweet man.
Once I'm ready for my next home project I will without a doubt be calling Global Prevention Services.

Puckett's Flooring Flooring Contractor
Horrible company. There's a reason they have a D on BBB.com. I'm a realtor and we use to refer Fu**ets flooring to all of our clients(about 10-15 per year). So far in the last 6 months they have lost out on 12 clients of ours, here's why. I had them install "luxury vinyl plank" in my home. When they first finished installing and told me the job was complete I went out to take a look. Other than them leaving the flooring a complete mess it looked okay at first glance. After I started to move in I noticed that there were a lot of soft spots and what felt like lumps under the flooring. They sent someone out to take a look and he said "it is what it is" and they couldn't do anything. I talked to the sales rep Kris and she had another guy come out. He told me the flooring shouldn't be like that and certain spots need to be redone correctly. So the first guy came back out and told me the same thing again and that the floors just need a month or two to settle. It's now been 6 months and they are still the same. I highly recommend you go with literally any other company than this one.

Pelleco Home Design Flooring Contractor
The crew at Pelleco is the best. Since we began our remodel plans to when our first job was complete, they have been nothing but honest, kind and helpful.

They've given us awesome prices (and we did our research to compare them to other providers). They have also been extremely efficient, accommodating to our schedule, and quick to finish our project.

They were happy to communicate via email, text and phone call at our convenience - they were always prompt to reply. The showroom has great hours and a relaxed atmosphere - we never felt pressured to buy anything and they didn't try to up-sell us to make more $. They suggested the more economic high quality fixtures and materials and kept us under budget.

We liked them so much for our first project, we immediately decided to use them for a second project and we're getting started on that right now. We will be using them on any future projects as well. Don't hesitate to call Pelleco for any remodel project.

Zona Restoration Flooring Contractor
The purpose of this review is simply to share how impressed I was with the level of Customer Service, which Shane with Zona Restoration provided, even though he knew immediately that his company would not be able to provide the type of service I required. To experience this level of Customer Service in today's atmosphere was more impressive than words can say!

Based on their name, Zona Restoration, I had hoped that they might be able to help me with a bizarre, previous small animal hole, which had opened up after our torrential storms this year and was now going under my retaining wall. Unfortunately, after reading their reviews, I realized that the type of restoration work they specialized in was for inside of the home types of damage.

Unfortunately, as I was having no luck at all in finding the right type of contractor to help me out with this, I gave them a call anyway. Just on the off chance that they might be able to recommend someone who could help me with both this issue, as well as a number of landscaping problems.

I spoke with Shane who was extremely pleasant and, although he confirmed that their company would not be the one to help me out, he asked if I could send him pictures of the situation and he would do some research to see if he could provide me with a referral or recommendation.

To my amazement, Shane called me back very quickly, after reviewing the photos with his boss, and provided me with the name of a company they felt comfortable in recommending.

Even though Shane was aware from the beginning that Zona Restoration would not be able to help me at this time, his level of Customer Service guarantees that they will be the company I will call on should the interior of my home ever need the type of services they do provide!

CTW Flooring Discounters Flooring Contractor
Despite what others say, please do your homework first.  This guy (Mike HRafi/Michael HRafi is a true con artist and will lie, cheat and steal.  I first purchased carpet from him and he did a good job.  I then hired him for another job and he outright took my money and said that the contractor he hired went bankrupt, only to find he never hired a contractor, and manufactured and altered receipts.  I am warning you, he is not a nice person.  He comes across as a caring, concerned and savvy business person; he is nothing short of a con artist.  You can call me if you like to get more information.  My number is 281.300.8282. I just don't want you to get scammed like he scammed me.
