Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona

I'm super-glad that Classic Millworks installed beautiful floors in a friend's home, which led to my meeting them and using them for my project. I'm a first-time homeowner and new to working with home improvement companies. Mike and Marilyn answered every one of my many questions about the process thoroughly and cordially. They could not have been more personable and friendly throughout my entire experience with them; in fact, Mike and I hugged at the end of his last visit here to check out the work done.  Their family and their whole crew are the BEST - they're all knowledgable, friendly, conscientious, and highly skilled in their craft. I can't recommend them highly enough. I'm delighted with my new floors!!

Thank you so much to Preston and his little boy Bentley who stopped to help me with my flat tire on the side of the freeway. It was a very hot afternoon and I can't tell you how much I appreciate them taking time out of their day to help a stranger.

I had this company come do laminate flooring, base boards and door mouldings at our house.  They did a great job and they did it quickly and for a really reasonable price. I will definitely recommend them.

I asked the owner of Giovanni's to come over and help me install 3 tiles for me after floor was ripped up from the plumbing job. he came over, did a stellar job and then didn't charge me a dime. This job took him about 1.5 hours and I knew he was super busy. I was shocked when he refused payment. Obviously the owner knows the rule of "Giver's Gain"  and the law of reciprocity - This isn't a "free" flooring company yet that kind of integrity will go a LONG way in my book. He was very communicative, and very professional. didn't leave a single piece of dirt in my house after going in and out. I have no reason not to give Giovanni's a 5-Star. We were very impressed with Darcy and Debra. We were in a time crunch and needed carpet installed and floor cleaned within a week and they delivered! The flooring looks amazing! It was done on time and within our budget! Thank you!

Josh came over to help me with a few projects around the house. I needed some drywall work and painting done. He gave me a great price and was very professional throughout the job. I had him come back to do some travertine flooring in my children's bathroom and replace the wall tile around the bath tub. He was very thorough and cleaned up after the project was done so we would have never known he was even there doing work. I would definitely recommend Josh and Bare Renovation for any home improvement projects you have.

I had travertine installed throughout my home the week after Christmas. I was impressed from the moment I walked into the Custom Floor Covering showroom. Andy took the time to educate me about stone flooring; Doug came a few days later to give me an estimate; and a few days after that, the work began. I was very fortunate to have Charlie do the installation because he is a master craftsman. The end result is beautiful!

A tough review to write.  A mix of good and not so good.  Some of it is not their fault, also.

In our case we needed to replace some damaged flooring (hardwood).  However, our precise hardwood isn't made anymore (or, rather, they changed it so even though it has the same name/number, it's different).  Nobody's fault there.  To the credit of Arizona Flooring, Robert (the owner, I think) helped find a close match.  It's the same wood species, and the color was very close.  But the texture is different.  It was either that or go with something completely different, so we opted for the "close as we're gonna get" choice.

The install didn't go as smoothly as it should have, in my opinion.  Obviously it is more difficult when there is furniture and baseboards already in place compared to coming in on a bare floor with no baseboards.  They tore out the old flooring, and then put in the new.  It seemed to me this crew wasn't as good as they should have been.  When they were done we could see some of the raw wood in the seams, implying the tongue-in-groove wasn't as tight as it should have been.  This is the tough bit because I can't be completely sure if that was their fault or if the wood itself just doesn't seat quite right.  However, their showroom sample didn't exhibit this problem, and neither did most of our floor when they were done, so I tend to think it was the installers.  They used a caulking material that also served as a stain to fill those gaps and (hopefully) color the wood.  

They did manage to do nearly the entire job without ripping out our baseboards (which was nice).  Kudos there.  Though we did end up with some dings and scratches in the paint.

Robert was very conscious of customer service.  So I have to give bonus points there.  He was concerned and responsive, doing his best to rectify any problems and make us happy.  That's a good sign.  As I type this we are awaiting "spare" boards (in case we need any repairs in the future).  His crew didn't leave us a box (and they were supposed to).

We did not try their tiling.  Tile is done by a different crew.  So we can't comment on that.  The install I would have to give 2 stars, but that may have just been the one crew.  Selection in the store was perhaps 4 stars (there was a LOT of wood to choose from).  Robert's concern for the customer is probably 5 stars.  Add it all up and I'd have to go with about 3.5 stars, if YELP would allow it.  I think I'll do 3 stars now, and if I have another experience (maybe for some tile we are thinking of doing) I can up it to 4 stars if it goes better.

Outstanding service and very straightforward.  The 890 sq ft tile flooring work was completed to perfection.  Very pleased with the final product and competitively priced as well.  Oko is great to deal with.  I will certainly be back to work with him again in the future.  Thank you!

Excellent company to deal with.  I was referred to them by a flooring manufacturer to order some very specific replacement parts for my flooring.  

I called and got right through to Vanessa, who was so helpful and patient.  She helped me figure out exactly what I needed and placed the order right away.  She had very good communication skills.

This company is obviously well ran, and I will return here for future flooring needs as well.

If you are looking at a major home design project, two words... call Sam!

We moved into a new home in Phoenix with old, outdated cabinets, and a profound lack of pantry space. Since we were just in the process of purchasing our home, of course, we were on a pretty strict budget. We met with several contractors and most told us that a design project in the scope we were looking for started at DOUBLE what our budget was. To even make it close, we'd have to be responsible for purchasing all of our own cabinets and countertops and as much labor as possible, then call them to show up for the install.

When Sam came over to our house, he walked right in and immediately started giving us re-design ideas (we badly wanted some advice on renovating the look of our kitchen). He said he could do it within our budget; he would provide the cabinets and countertops from his warehouse, and he'd arrange all of the labor (he has some of his own crew, plus he used some contractors).

He knew exactly what kind of cabinets we wanted; at his store, he helped us pick out a nice matching countertop, backsplash, and sink that worked with the overall color schemes of the kitchen.

First off, every worker that came to my house (whether it was a Pelleco employee or contractor) was a total professional both in attitude and competence. Everyone communicated extremely well and there were no surprises.

They installed a beautiful kitchen, which makes it look brand new. In addition, we had a large pantry cabinet installed PLUS laundry room cabinets all for within our price range. Sam knocked it out of the park.

Lastly, Sam could not be more available or attentive to his clients. Call/text him and you get a response immediately; always doing anything he can to satisfy a client's question or complaint. He came over to check out the final product. I was so happy with it that he was actually looking for flaws so he could fix it for us. But there weren't any!

You will not be disappointed when you choose Pelleco for your project. We have another design project next year and you can bet we'll be using them again.

I was having issues inside my home. I called and got a quick appt. My fear was that there were mold issues in the home.  It was done very quickly and I received negative results within 24 hours.  Worth every penny.

I wanted to do business with Cabinets to Go.  I TRIED to do business with them, to no avail.  I called and spoke with someone who basically, just said "Send an email with your measurements, you will be contacted in 72 hours."  That was April 30th, nearly 1 month later and NO contact.  I call again, speak to another guy, who doesn't apologize or sound the least bit interested in my business, I Had to re-confirm the email (He certainly wasn't going to do it and YES, I had the right one the first time!) So, I again send an email, complete with attachments with measurements and am told 72 hours.  Well, that was 5 days ago and NOTHING.  I can take a hint Cabinets to Go, you obviously do NOT WANT business. Too bad.  To Others--- Don't waste your time, they aren't interested!

Despite what others say, please do your homework first.  This guy (Mike HRafi/Michael HRafi is a true con artist and will lie, cheat and steal.  I first purchased carpet from him and he did a good job.  I then hired him for another job and he outright took my money and said that the contractor he hired went bankrupt, only to find he never hired a contractor, and manufactured and altered receipts.  I am warning you, he is not a nice person.  He comes across as a caring, concerned and savvy business person; he is nothing short of a con artist.  You can call me if you like to get more information.  My number is 281.300.8282. I just don't want you to get scammed like he scammed me.
