Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona

My name is Ivy Singletary, and I'm a patron of Canterra Construction. I needed to have a 10x12 'do-it-yourself' outdoor shed built, and I took to Yelp to find a company to fulfill the need.

Katherine, one of the owners, wrote me back immediately, we conversed, and she offered a free consultation for an estimate. She arrived with her staff in tow at the appointed time, fully prepared to address every concern I had previously discussed with her on the phone.

From the onset, I knew I was in competent hands. Canterra Construction was diligent throughout the entire process. Even when the shed arrived earlier than expected, I shot Katherine an email, and she was quick to accommodate the schedule change with an immediate start date. Throughout the process, Katherine was available to meet any need, inquiry, or concern and maintained exemplary response time with her calm, pleasant demeanor.

On the installation days, her team was on time, polite, accommodating, professional, communicative, focused, and meticulous in their work efforts. During the three-day job, her crew left the premises tidy each day upon completion. Words can't capture my appreciation for their professional partnership in completing this endeavor.

I've enclosed pictures before and after my project finalization, and I sincerely hope this review helps someone else in their decision to give Canterra Construction ample consideration. [The painted version is the model photo from which they worked].

Taylor and the crew did a wonderful job from start to finish. Our house looks amazing with the new vinyl plank flooring.  Loved working with the crew thru out the week.

A little more than a month ago, I was searching for someone to renovate my dated fireplace. I searched fireplace renovation and up popped Mike Abbate with Crafted. I submitted a request for contact on a Monday night, and I received a call within an hour. Pictures were requested and I had an initial estimate within 24 hours. Pricing was more than fair. He came to my home within a few days, and after seeing the fireplace, he submitted a revised estimate that was still fair! Work got underway after I chose my materials, and after 6 days my fireplace was complete. As a single woman, I felt comfortable w/ every tradesman Mike sent out to my job. Mike was frequently onsite, and always asking for pictures to be sent to him when he was involved with other job. As the project progressed, my questions and concerns were always taken seriously and answered/addressed promptly. Tonite my renovated fireplace is better than I imagined! And I know who will get the call when it's time to renovate the guest bath.

We were in San Diego for the summer when a sprinkler line broke under the driveway of our home in central Phoenix during July.  On receiving a call from my maintenance man, I contacted USAA who carries our homeowners insurance and was referred to Paul Bailey of DriRite CMG3... they are a preferred contractor for USAA.  As a 52 year member of USAA I was not disappointed by their referral.  They found the problem and repaired it quickly.  Everything was handled by DriRite professionally and over the phone.  I didn't have to fly back to Phoenix to get the job completed.  That part of the driveway looks better than the original installed in 2001.  Paul and DriRite did the best restoration job we have had done in our 52 years with USAA.  I would refer them to anyone needing restoration work.

PDG Construction is the best handyman service in the city. I have never worked anyone who was as honest, clean and meticulous as PDG. They are very knowledgeable and do great work. I recommend them to all of my friends and family.

I called Steve to replace a fence that burned in a fire. I explained my desire to have the work done quickly due to HOA pressure. He was there the next morning to assess the damage and came back that same afternoon to complete the job.  It is sturdy and everything was as promised.  He was my hero that saved the day.

I visited the showroom and liked what I saw, so I scheduled an appointment for an in-home estimate.  After receiving two confirmations and clearing my calendar to meet, no one from the company showed up to the appointment.  No call, no email, no text, no explanation.  

Yelpers, if you are looking to remodel your kitchen, I recommend doing business elsewhere.   This is a new business that is, apparently, not ready for customers.

I have had the privilege of working with Adrienne on several occasions. Not only is she the best at what she does, but she also is incredibly responsive, communicates well, and has the client's best interest at heart. I highly recommend ModaScapes Interior Design.

Excellent service and great advice on my travertine pavers. After the first call we had an appointment the next day at 4pm, he showed up promptly and was very honest and personable.

Rhino Construction did a fantactic job removing old wood siding from our house and replacing it with new siding and painting. They did everything the right way and they did everything and more than they agreed to do. Everardo and his crew were all great to work with. We highly recommend Rhino Construction!!!! We've hired Derek for multiple projects in the last two years - ceiling retexturing and finish from water damage 10/18, resurfacing of ceiling/wall and flooring replacement 7/20, full shower remodel 8/20. All his teams were very professional, polite and mindful of our pets not getting loose. Derek is a pleasure to work with and very competitive with his pricing. We're very happy with the quality of the work and the timeliness of the completion. We'll definitely be hiring him again in the future when we're ready for our next project.

Bobby and team completely remodeled two showers and a bath. They were terrific - customer-focused, detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, and excellent communicators. Bobby checked-in frequently and made sure I was happy with the outcome. Overall, they made the entire process easy and I am delighted with the outcome. I would hire them again and have also recommended them to other family members doing a kitchen remodel.

Normally, I would give a higher rating because the service in the store is good as well as selection.  What a nightmare with product we are using from Arizona Tile.  Our remodeling contractor is trying to put over 300 pieces inside a niche area of our shower.  The product in my mind, was not packaged correctly.  We spoke with AZ tile and they said it was correct.  Really, what person wants to put over 300 pieces in a shower niche piece by piece? Where is the mesh backing so you can install it as one whole piece?  We had it in our other bathroom niche and it was a piece of cake.  Poor guy took over 2 hours to arrange on the thin set.  Now, let's hope it sticks, unlike before when the first try it all fell apart.   Make sure you inspect purchased product, so you can question installation before you take it home.

Trying to get a contractor out to do the less exciting work is difficult right now.  Multiple contractors told me remodels only and 1 even told me nothing under 20k!  Previously I had contracted with Lowes for my door and they backed out because it was "too hard" (I kid you not!).   I was straight with Vlad about my less than exciting needs and he was more than willing to do the work. His estimate was the same as Lowes and fairly priced.

Vlad told me his team would be there at a specific date/time.  They showed up EXACTLY as promised to the minute.  They worked efficiently without need of support from me and came prepared to do the job.  I got 1 call about something they saw while working the property; this was my issue, not theirs and I appreciated the fact they told me what they saw.   They didn't mind the fact I would sneak out to look at their work (I like to watch professionals do their job; its fascinating!).  They cleaned up nicely, walked me through what they did, and I paid with a check no hesitation.

So my photos are of the unpainted result; this was as I directed Vlad and his team.  One photos is of a piece of drywall that was sagging that he replaced.
But what I would want you to notice is that the texture in consistent and lines up with the original texturate on the gypsum.  This is what a professional should do; but not all professionals actually do this!  The second photo is of an access door to my air handler that he replaced.  Not exiting; but it had to be done!
