Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona
OMG. What a great experience. This family owned business is the best. From my first entry into the store. Inventory of product choices is great. Staff is very friendly not pushy. One stop shopping. Very professional. Great job Brian/ project manager, Jacob and Chad. They are really top notch installers. We are very satisfied. Will never return to lumber liquidators.

Let me start by saying that I did not purchase my flooring from Floor Depot. Rather, after working with me for about 2 weeks; providing me sample boards to take home, ordering a sample board for me that he didn't have, and helping me carry countless heavy sample boards to my car, Travis recommended I purchase the flooring I wanted elsewhere as he thought I could get a better price at another store. Talk about honesty! Talk about exceptional customer service! The price he did quote me for my 2nd choice flooring (Provenza) was unbeatable. I absolutely recommend Floor Depot. I doubt you'll find a better price elsewhere and if there is a better price elsewhere, you can trust Travis to steer you in the right direction. Support local business and honest sales- it's a rarity these days!

Alex is so easy to work with, it feels more like working with family. He takes care of you, helps you with decisions and creates the most beautiful pieces. Always professional. AZ Royal Granite has a superb selection of stone. We have used them in 3 of our homes. He has worked along side with our cabinet maker to create 2 stunning tables in our home. They are like art pieces in our home. Wouldn't go with anyone else, ever!

We have been buying carpet and flooring from Jeff at Floor Depot North for several years. Jeff recently supplied us with a high end laminate from Shaw for our whole house (except for the bedrooms and bathrooms). It is soooo beautiful, and it's just gets more beautiful every day. I swear you can't tell it's not real hardwood.
About Jeff, he is the most honest, knowledgeable, and easy going person we have ever dealt with. Jeff's prices are very reasonable in fact I believe they are better than the "big box" stores and you get personal service.

Edit: These guys are super strange. And I'm not sure as to the ethics behind sharing emails. He also negated to share the final email I. Which I assured him that at no point did I think his disorganization and lack of communication stemmed from malice. However, being disorganized and uncommunicative is noteworthy, and thusly why the review was posted.

I had Builders Flooring @ Design install the tile on my new home, we had tile in 90% of the home, including our master bathroom which was a custom design with natural stone floor in the shower, full shower surround, with a large pony wall, kitchen backsplash and all the rest of the floors in the other bathrooms and main living, dining and kitchen area in our home.
We multiple tile types, especially in the master shower and bath, and a herribone design for our backsplash in the kitchen with a special mix of 40% blue, 40% grey, and 20% while for the backsplash.
The preparation work that was done in the master shower was amazing, including the other application in the home, the main living area we used a 20"x20" high gloss if it called that tile on a diamond patter, the prep work before they installed any of the tile was right on target. I have been in the trades for my entire life and I know what I'm looking at, and I will tell you, these guys hit the prep work on the heat! Remember, the finish work only looks as good as the prep work.
Now as far as the finish work goes, all I can say is "Amazing", the attention to detail was awesome, the cuts for the master bathroom on the outside corner of the pony wall had to be 45% outside corners and they were perfect, the floor in the master bath was natural river rock and the layout and grout around the floor drain were perfect, looks just like it should.
The backsplash in the kitchen is another "WOW" anyone that comes to our home, is amazed at how it looks, the cuts, the edge work and the grout work are absolutely breathtaking, no exaggeration. It just looks that good. The main floor and tile work are amazing also when you walk into our home, it looks very classy and very elegant, and the fine details of cuts around the doors, and inside and outside corners are perfect. Again the grout work is everything on a large tile job and they nailed it.
Our experience did not just happen at the jobsite, the attention to customer needs and planning and design center help at their offices was beyond anything we experienced with any of the other trades. Nick and Katheryn were very knowledgeable and helpful.
I am a very picky tradesperson, and I seriously have not one thing bad to say about the whole experience with Builders Flooring & Design.
I recommend this company to anyone and have nothing but great things to say about their product!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

This is an update to my review from yesterday. I have lowered their rating and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company or their contracted installers. The installer failed to secure the sink to the cabinet with the necessary clips and also damaged my faucet causing it to leak, so I had to replace that too. In all I have had to spend an additional $1000 to secure the sink, reconnect the plumbing, replace and install the new faucet.

This is the 2nd time I have used AZ Flooring Direct and there will be a 3rd and 4th. They did my living room and kitchen and my floors are beautiful. They are going to be doing my shower and eventually replacing the carpets in my bedrooms. My brother also had them do his bathroom after he saw my living room floors. You can't get a better price for the great quality they have. I have worked with Jim and Scott. They are both great people and can help with colors and design. I did a ton of research before I went with them the first time.
I will post again when the shower is complete.

WONDERFUL, Olympic Hardwood Flooring is simply wonderful!!
I had lived with my dated, glued down, engineered wood floors for 10+ years and had hated them from the day I purchased my house. When I finally decided to replace them, I took my time, shopped around, selected a couple of hardwood flooring options, interviewed a few different installers and got bids to do the work. Then I went to Olympic Hardwood Flooring's showroom and I hit the lottery.
I first met Kelly, she is terrific, lovely, kind and was helpful and patient as I looked at all of their flooring options, and they have A LOT to choose from. Rafal helped narrow down my selections and let me take samples home. Once I made my decision, Rafal presented an estimate to complete the job that was both competitive and detailed. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns before I gave him my deposit to begin the project. Rafal and Kelly kept me informed of ordering, delivery and installation dates and adhered to the schedule throughout the entire project.
I was blessed to have Buddha install my flooring, he was absolutely fantastic. His work is impeccable, flawless and detailed; he arrived on time, cleaned up after himself and was an absolute pleasure to work with. In the span of six days, he removed and replaced the hardwood flooring in the living room and removed old carpet in the primary and guest bedrooms and replaced it with the same oak flooring. Even when unexpected, extra floor prep work was required the work was still completed on time, per the schedule and within budget.
To say I am thrilled with the outcome is an understatement...I'm ecstatic!! My house has been transformed into a home. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded anything I could have ever hoped for. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Olympic Hardwood Flooring, everyone there is terrific and it was the best decision I ever made!!

I had glass tub/shower doors installed, as well as front door and interior door hardware installation too. Big shout out to Greg Hancock, their craftsman. Was in touch before arriving; showed up on time, assessed the needs, quoted a fair price, and got to work. No muss no fuss; he worked through all the written instructions on the shower door and installed it efficiently and perfectly. He was pleasant and knew his stuff really well. I highly recommend this company, especially Greg Hancock. Every home owner needs to rely on a company they can trust to do stuff like this, without worry of a bad job, a craftsman who doesn't know his stuff, or ridiculously rip-off worthy prices. Here they are.

We had water damage from our upstairs bathtub into our kitchen ceiling and walls. Patterson was amazing working with us and insurance making sure the process went as smooth as possible and remained in the parameters of the insurance estimate. They even had even had an issue with our supervisor not responding to us mid repairs for days and they escalated the issue and immediately reassigned to another supervisor who went above and beyond to take care of us ASAP. I was shocked with how well they handled this issue as it certainly was a nail in the coffin and I was holding the hammer ready to swing. They gained all my future business, not only based on the amazing repair job they did, but based on how management handled the employment issue internally to not disrupt the quality of customer service they pride themselves in.

I called and asked the company if they had a show room I could come too and was told no, they come to us with samples. Ok great! So I scheduled an appointment. I gave them the details of what I was looking for over the phone so that they would know what type of samples to bring. I was asked about my husband (which at the time I thought odd) but said he may or may not be home. I asked a few questions and the person on the phone said that the sales person would go over the details but he would email me out a coupon (never received the coupon). The sales person came out and he actually met my husband on the way out (he went for a run). I am quite capable of handling anything goes on in our home but it seems that this company I was made to feel as time was back to the 1940's and women aren't able to make decisions without their spouse present! Can you say sexism? My daughter and I tried to get the sales person to come in the other room to look at the few tiles that we had from another company or to go upstairs to look at the rooms we wanted done and he couldn't be bothered. My daughter went to the kitchen pulled two of the tiles to bring in to show him so that he could have a better idea of what we were looking for and he was like yes we have things like that....ok we could clearly tell he really wasn't interested in the job because if he was, he would have given me the quote that he would have given to both my husband and I but he seemed insistent that he was there. The sales rep asked me if the job was $15,000 could I make that decision on my own and I said yes, if I loved something and that's what it cost then I would do it. Would I still get my husbands opinion on the shade etc of course, but I am clearly capable of handling my finances and have a complete handle on what I can afford YES. He asked if I was going to pay cash or sign up for their credit...at first I said cash and then I said well if you have good terms maybe I will do credit (in either case...I know my credit score is 820 and I know what I have in the bank)! So again....I can make a decision and sign paperwork. What did come out of this...my husband got home and asked how the appointment went and I told him he wouldn't give us a quote without him there and he said I told him that you were in good hands (which I didn't know...LOL nor did I care) but found that kind of funny and he said well clearly we won't be using them... and my daughter got a lesson in what's it like to be a woman and have to jump through extra hoops....by the way she's a RN...she's pretty good at making decisions as well! Let's just say we won't be using their services!
