Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona

Last month we finally took the time to update our kitchen, pantry and family room flooring with new tile and carpet.  We are so pleased with Flooring America of Chandler and HIGHLY recommend this company for your flooring needs!  Dale and his staff--Carlos and Steve--are perfectionists and very comfortable to work with to achieve the results you want.  They arrived on time, worked quickly and even the manager, Dale, stopped by a few times to see how pleased we were with the project.  We are planning to use my husband's sabbatical time soon to renovate both bathroom floors and already know we will be using Flooring America of Chandler to do the work.

Let me start by saying that I did not purchase my flooring from Floor Depot. Rather, after working with me for about 2 weeks; providing me sample boards to take home, ordering a sample board for me that he didn't have, and helping me carry countless heavy sample boards to my car, Travis recommended I purchase the flooring I wanted elsewhere as he thought I could get a better price at another store. Talk about honesty! Talk about exceptional customer service! The price he did quote me for my 2nd choice flooring (Provenza) was unbeatable. I absolutely recommend Floor Depot. I doubt you'll find a better price elsewhere and if there is a better price elsewhere, you can trust Travis to steer you in the right direction. Support local business and honest sales- it's a rarity these days!

I have worked with Alex and Veny several times over the last year on several different projects.  They do amazing work.  AZ Royal Granite is the only fabricator that I recommend for miter cuts and waterfall edges.

Russ is awesome! I contacted him to help install security cameras and motion sensor lights on my home, after I had recently had someone break into my garage.  While he normally doesn't do small jobs like that, he immediately agreed to help to ensure my son were safe and secure in our house.  He did a fantastic professional job and also has a great personality and great service.  I will be using him as my handyman for all jobs he offers services for, going forward!

Cesar and his dad make the dynamic duo. They were professional, always in constant communication and hard workers. They got it done so quickly and efficiently and stayed within our budget. Will definitely have then do our bathroom when we are ready. Highly recommend.

First-off, we had been looking at flooring samples at different businesses for almost a year and were getting completely confused.  

We eventually found Floor Depot North and spoke with the owner Jeff.  We told him what we were "kind of looking for" but didn't know for sure.  Jeff explained several different options and showed us a lot of samples from the large selection at his store.

We ended up choosing a beautiful hand-scraped engineered wood from Shaw. It came in 3 widths, which is something we never thought of until Jeff suggested it.  

Jeff gave us a great price and the service was outstanding.  The new floor completely transformed our house.  We will not buy flooring from anyone else!

I swear, between a dog and a baby, my carpets are a walking nightmare. Luckily I have Yelp to lead me to a go-to business! Now that I have a baby with a sleeping and nap schedule, I have to carefully plan when people come to work on the house and the "windows of time" are always a pain because I never know exactly when they will show up. I did some research and realized that Arizona Carpet actually does "on time" appointments which means they actually show up at a specific time and they really did! I love supporting local businesses and I love that they are not only local but also family-owned who have been in the Valley forever!

When they showed up, I was pleased to see that the technician was very friendly and welcoming and someone who I would definitely trust to be in my home. You never know who is going to show up when you hire a service, but these guys hire good technicians! I even knew who to expect before they showed up because they sent me a picture of the technician and also told me that he had been background checked. I've never experienced a cleaning service who is so thorough!

As soon as I need a carpet cleaning again (which will be soon because Baby D loves to spit up!) I will call Arizona Carpet. I also like that they offer rug and tile cleaning (and they give you a free spotter bottle when they leave!)

Quick and efficient. We needed our entire 2nd floor carpet replaced under a tight deadline. Brian and team were efficient, professional, and great to work with. The carpet looks amazing and they finished in one day.

Didn't bother contacting me back after my inquiry. Not even a "your job is too small for what we do." Cannot speak to their quality outside of that.

I used this company to remodel my house kitchen and bathrooms. They did a superb job on time with a very reasonable price. I dealt with Tyson one of the company's principals and he was great to deal with and was very responsive to all my questions as the work progressed.
I highly recommend this company.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

This is an update to my review from yesterday. I have lowered their rating and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company or their contracted installers. The installer failed to secure the sink to the cabinet with the necessary clips and also damaged my faucet causing it to leak, so I had to replace that too. In all I have had to spend an additional $1000 to secure the sink, reconnect the plumbing, replace and install the new faucet.

I can't say enough good things about the experience we had purchasing our carpet.  I requested a quote online after being referred to them by the company installing our walk-in closet.  Scott came out to our house with carpet samples which made it incredibly easy to make our decision.  The prices are very reasonable for a quality product and we had the carpet installed one week after purchase. We couldn't be happier!  The installers took great care in removing the old carpet and reinforcing the floor before installation.  Our room looks beautiful and I would highly recommend AZ Flooring Direct!

We are doing a full remodel of our home and, learning from our last remodel, decided to hire legit professionals for the flooring of our new home. I wanted to support a local company and looked for high ratings. Rafal was with me from the time I (unannounced) walked into his showroom until the finished product and install. He is knowledgeable, honest, and was open to working with our timeline when multiple other contractors were involved. I had nothing but a positive experience. My needs and concerns were always addressed in a timely manner. Rafal was always available to contact. Our installer, Budo, was professional and friendly. I trusted this company and their employees in my home, when we were at work,  and would absolutely do so again. Support local. Their quality can't be beat. We've had nothing but positive comments about our flooring, including from other professionals doing work in our house. I can't recommend Olympic flooring enough!

We are getting our house ready for sale. The place is empty and it is amazing just how obvious dirty carpets are when you remove the obstacles.

Rob was able to take 10 year old carpets which have endured dogs and cats and three somewhat less than neat guys and make them look as close to new as they could ever possibly look again.

What an awesome, honest, conscientious, hard working guy! An outstanding value at a fair price!

I had them redo the flooring in both of my bathrooms and they did a fantastic job.  They came out and gave a good quote, the craftsman arrived on time and was very professional.  My floors look great, I am going to have them install french doors for me next.  I highly recommend.

Beware doing business with Patterson Homes unless you like to be left hanging. We contacted them about doing a bid on our remodel, and they set up an appointment for Guyton to come and look at our project. He ended up running late and missed us entirely. We figured mistakes happen so let it slide and emailed him our plans.

He never sent us a single email or contact attempt after that. I emailed and called him repeatedly, and every date he gave me to follow up or get us bid info went by without any sort of update. Finally, two weeks after the last deadline he gave us we just gave up on Patterson Homes. I guess the good news is we discovered their lack of responsiveness before we contracted them to build our home.

Miserable experience with this awful company and I regret doing business with them. Too many things to list, so I'll just advise you all to avoid them if you have a flooring project.
