Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona
Update: Dale called was very apologetic came out on a Sunday at the time of our choosing did the measurements and gave us a good discount for the inconvenience. Update: carpets are installed workers were efficient and respectful after carpets were in Dale came personally to inspect the work and address any issues if there were any. I am very pleased with the carpet and the service after all is said and done I would recommend them

Regina was awesome to work with! She was super patient, knew just what to recommend, gave her honest opinions, didn't try to sell us on pricier product, and answered about 100 of our questions without complaint. We were able to check out a couple of samples to take home and make sure we like the coloring, etc. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience at Floor Depot and look forward to working with them.

These guys are awesome..We have a new build up in New River (kitchen/island/bathrooms/bar). Alex came out to measure on his way home from a job up in Flagstaff and had our cabinets done and installed 13 days later (other companies I called were 6 months out). They had exactly the granite that we wanted. His prices were great. His salesman Veny - best customer service/sales guy I have seen in a long time. The installers were awesome, fast, clean, respectful and AWESOME at what they do. We had one problem with a counter, came up with a solution and BAM it was in and done. If you want granite counters - these are they guys. And Alex has a great eye - they way the lined up veining is amazing. Nice to work with a company that takes great pride in their work and their customer service. We will use them and refer them for sure.

I went to Floor Depot on the advice of friends. What a great recommendation! Jeff is very knowledgeable about all kinds of wood flooring (which is what I was looking for) and made some great suggestions for our needs. He brought out lots of different samples and offered advice about various kinds of wood for our climate - for example, some kinds of wood works great elsewhere, but in our dry climate, not so much.
Jeff let us take lots of wood samples home - his samples are large enough to get a good idea of how they'll look in your rooms. Seems like it took me FOREVER to make a decision, but Jeff was never pushy or aggressive. When I finally placed my order, he called the next day to say that the manufacturer had had a "bad batch." When we re-ordered, the install date couldn't meet my schedule (my fault, not theirs) and he graciously refunded my money.
The GOOD news is that when I came back to place my order a few weeks later, he had some NEW wood that worked even better in my rooms!
He recommended an installer (Oliver), who came out no less than three times to look at my layout and talk with me about the installation. He also was extremely knowledgeable and kept me calm when we found some uneven areas and had to do some 'grinding' to level out the floors. He was a perfectionist and lined up the wood to my existing tile perfectly - with no T-molding, like you see in other, lower quality installs. In addition to the floors, Oliver's crew replaced our existing baseboards throughout the first floor with new, higher baseboards. Looks fabulous!
I have had friends whose wood floor installations have been a nightmare. Installers who don't speak English, leave a mess when they leave, even have just walked off the job! Oliver and his crew were excellent. They showed up on time, communicated with me and left everything spotless.
If you're looking for wood floors, I highly recommend you talk to Jeff at Floor Depot North!

This company has cleaned my carpets twice in the last 6 months. One thing you should know about me is if you don't do a good job I won't use you again. They sent a confirmation email a few days before with my appointment time and a picture of the technician. In the email was also proof that the technician had been through a background check. The technician showed up on time to clean my hallway, stairs and bedrooms. The stairs looked horrible as you could imagine with 4 boys traipsing up and down them all day. The technician worked extra hard to clean my stairs and did an excellent job. When the technician was leaving he handed be a pair of booties for my shoes. This allowed me to use the stairs, while they were still wet, without getting them dirty. Talk about going the extra mile. I have had my carpets cleaned by other carpet cleaning companies, in the past, and have not been satisfied with the result on my stairs. I will continue to use Arizona Carpet and Restoration because of their punctuality, professionalism and a job well done.

Easy to give a 5 star review to this 5 star company. Brian & Co gave us great feedback on our remodeling ideas, they LISTENED to us regarding budget & time frame. They exceeded all of our expectations on our remodel, definitely would recommend this company to family & friends. You can tell they enjoy making your home beautiful, it absolutely shows in the quality of their work.

The team at Builders Flooring & Design has done a great job of coming up with a design for cabinets in our laundry room and key drop areas. They helped me stay within budget, get high quality cabinets, and installed in a timely and efficient manner. Unlike projects done by other vendors in the past, there were NO mistakes along the way.
I have no suggestions for improvement. Good job, Laurel and Nik!

I have had the great pleasure of having K and B help remodel a bathroom. Along the way getting to work with Mike P. and his guys. The amount of Professionalism that they give is bar none. They were respectful and hard working. Making sure that the smallest detail was not left undone. I would recommend this business to any and everyone needing an installer. WAY TO GO K and B!!!!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

This is an update to my review from yesterday. I have lowered their rating and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company or their contracted installers. The installer failed to secure the sink to the cabinet with the necessary clips and also damaged my faucet causing it to leak, so I had to replace that too. In all I have had to spend an additional $1000 to secure the sink, reconnect the plumbing, replace and install the new faucet.

Arizona Flooring Direct beat out Lumber Liquidators on price and service. We are 100% satisfied! They provided a superior product to that of other flooring companies. We appreciate Scott and his team and highly recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring.

Rob was available to clean my carpet on a short notice. He was able to save the carpet in a room that was accidentally flooded. Overall I am very satisfied with his service and the price is fair.

We worked with Allen who gave us a quote to turn our three wall office into a bedroom. Once we agreed on a price (very fair compared to other quotes we received), his crew came out and framed the forth wall, created a closet, laid hardwood floors, and installed a door all within a couple days! I couldn't believe how fast his guys moved. These guys are on the ball. Oh, did I mention they came in on budget too?? Highly recommend!

Work began 3/2018 remodeling kitchen, master bath, flooring in 4 rooms. No exaggeration something went wrong every step. 1st superintendent quit weeks into the project. He was a big reason we hired this company We hoped it was just sour grapes but came to find near half the company left at the same time to form their own company. He was replaced by Darren who gave lip service to being the best and having no problem picking up the project. Smooth talker, good salesman, horrible project manager. Was almost never there! Only time we'd see him was damage control after we complained enough. Reached out to the owner twice & NEVER a response. He sent our concerns to the same employee we were expressing concerns over, just making things more uncomfortable. CARELESS! So with that I'll list just some of the endless problems: 1.Explicitly asked for and bid clearly stated kitchen & bath cabinets were to be all plywood construction...much of the boxes and all shelves are particle board. When questioned we got doubletalked to make it sound like we got what we asked for. 2. Signed bid said cabinets lacquered for anti-scuff & scratch. They scratch easily and the paint color transfers when wiped in some areas. Refused to do much but say the bid shouldn't say anything about scratch resistance...well it does! 3. ALL the cheap particle board shelving they put in all cabinets is chipped and there's a giant hole in one of the cabinets 4. Plumber (Dion) tightened new oil rubbed bronze tub faucet with rough tool that chewed up the finish and left without saying anything. They did replace it after enough complaints, but their billing and bookkeeping is so bad that I've no way to know they didn't double charge me for this. They couldn't/wouldn't itemize or logically explain any billing, and left things in invoices they never did. 5. Same plumber, sent to install touch activated faucet. Installed as a regular manual faucet and neglected to install electronics.Left again without saying anything. And he took the electronics with him! Then we mention they say woops, but we don't have the parts anymore, don't know where they went?? Eventually they pulled parts from a local supplier. Work but aren't an exact fit for the model.6. All 3 sinks installed leaked within 2 months...asked for a different plumber but they refused to send anyone else. 7. ALL grout used to tile master bed, bath floor, shower had to be re-dyed because the color was splotchy and just OFF. They finally go back to fix, which takes multiple attempts because if we don't point out every spot they aren't going to catch it. Still not great in a few areas 8. They DO NOT clean up after themselves! Brand-new cabinets were so filthy it took days to clean the dust and pencil marks left! They did drywall after cabinets and didn't cover so drywall dust everywhere. They didn't cover much of anything and were ok letting the dust get all over house. Front yard full of grout because they just dumped buckets wherever. Wood glue left all over kitchen floor. Didn't mask cabinets and got paint overspray on walls and left it. Cut wood in yard without covering and left a bunch of sawdust in the gravel. Cigarette butts left all over front yard. Old rusty tools and other trash left. 9.They DO NOT know how to install & grout beveled edge tile backsplash. Took 3 attempts to do acceptably, and only redid because we persisted. First 2 were so poorly done it's insane we had to point out in the first place. 10. Installed the WRONG carpet pad. We ordered high-quality carpet and wanted the quality pad to match. For comfort & the extended warranty through the same manufacturer. They installed cheap Home Depot pad. Tried to doubletalk & say it's equivalent and still have the same warranty (false) and refused to fix. Then said "I didn't know" (say this a lot) but even if he didn't, why wouldn't he ask instead of install whatever he wants? Stood our ground and eventually they changed after a lengthy standoff. We had to walk stairs with no carpet and tack strips exposed for a while... unacceptable! 11. Not only neglected to pull permits, but actively confirmed multiple times they were absolutely not required for the scope of the project...Wrong! Came to find after all was done they ARE required. This is likely to cause a mess of future issues for me. Response was essentially that permits are a money grab for the city and they never get them because it's not necessary and it's what they always do so it's ok. Licensed contractor fine with doing unpermitted work. 12. Took 2 months over projected completion date. And the only reason it's "done" is we won't have anyone from this company stepping foot in our house ever again!

None of the tile installers wore masks. Communication was very poor. I was told there would be a crew of 3 but no one ever introduced themselves and at least 8 different people were in and out of my house without me knowing if they were even employees. The grout crew was yelling, laughing and blaring music. It was a party atmosphere in my house the last day. The lead tiler did not intervene.
They agreed I would always have one of my bathrooms working but that did not happen even after pleading. When they left the final day, they told me someone would be back at 5:30 to complete caulking and bolt the toilet down. I was told I couldn't use the commode. I signed off on the paperwork and began calling Express Flooring the next day when no one showed up. It took several hours for a call back and was I was told they'd look into it. I never heard back. At 3 p.m. 3 men showed and said they couldn't bolt the toilet down until next week. My cabinets, walls, doors and baseboards will have to be repainted and patched in spots and I'll be cleaning grout off doors, walls and baseboards for days. They removed my door sweep and just left outside. So unprofessional and disappointing compared to my last tile job. I got a good value but paid the price in customer service. Don't sign off on the final work until you're satisfied since they demand a cashiers check in advance so you have recourse if they fail to honor their commitment. They had no supervisor approve the final work either. There was no supervisor here the final 2 1/2 days and he only stopped by briefly twice. They could have addressed any problems if they did but customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority. Neither is pride in workmanship as you can see from the pics.
