Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona
Updating after receiving a reply from the business to my review.
Dale I understand where you are coming from as a locally-owned business however, not having samples available for check-out prevents us from coming back to your store and buying from you in the future. As we explained when in the store we don't want or need a free in-home estimate. We have a contractor hired and they will be taking the measurements and placing the order for us based on the wood tile product we select. Your employees kept trying to get us to cut out the contractor and have you provide the estimate which we explained we were not interested in. Arizona Tile created the experience we were looking for and allow samples to be checked out. All the best but we won't be returning to your store.

I purchased both carpet and tile flooring. This was the BEST flooring store imaginable. Travis went above and beyond what I would have expected from any store's customer service . They are off the charts good!!! The prices are fantastic and the installers he recommends are the absolute greatest. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe how satisfied I am with them.

We decided to update our kitchen countertops so we started the process of finding the right company for us. After 3 or 4 estimates/sales pitches we decided to go with ARG. Veny was the "man" for us. He got us with his knowledge and how easy he was to work with. He had great ideas to expand our countertop space and helped us find the right granite. When the day came for install they were right on time n promptly changed our kitchen. We love it! Do yourself a favor and call and talk with Veny. This place rocks!!

The most outstanding service I've experienced with carpentry. I called him and he insisted to help me the same day with a consultation. My consultation was quick and easy with the estimate price being very fair. Set out a day to start and that where the magic began. Helped me choose good options for paint colors and everything I needed to make what I wanted the room to look. My bedroom went from a 5/10 to a 11/10 in the matter of hours in front of my eyes and I'm still on shock on how amazing it turned out so fast. I highly recommend his work 100%

Cesar and his dad make the dynamic duo. They were professional, always in constant communication and hard workers. They got it done so quickly and efficiently and stayed within our budget. Will definitely have then do our bathroom when we are ready. Highly recommend.

We have been buying carpet and flooring from Jeff at Floor Depot North for several years. Jeff recently supplied us with a high end laminate from Shaw for our whole house (except for the bedrooms and bathrooms). It is soooo beautiful, and it's just gets more beautiful every day. I swear you can't tell it's not real hardwood.
About Jeff, he is the most honest, knowledgeable, and easy going person we have ever dealt with. Jeff's prices are very reasonable in fact I believe they are better than the "big box" stores and you get personal service.

Q is literally the best handy man ever. Ever since the first day I hired him, he has tackled all of the crazy random jobs I've thrown at him quickly and professionally. I don't even feel right calling him a handy man as he is way more than that! On top all of that, he's super sweet. I will miss him and all of his amazing work when he leaves California. Damn you Arizona for stealing Q from us!!

I used ACR to repair water damage in the drywall ceiling of my garage caused by a plumbing leak in an upstairs bathroom. Their team did a great job accessing the damage, repairing the area, and taking all necessary steps to stop any mold growth. I hope that I do not have the need for a restoration company in the future, but ACR will be first call should something like this happen again.

We hired Az Remodeling Pros to install new porcelain flooring and kitchen. The work was quite extensive as it required removal of walls, new plumbing lines, and a lot of electrical work.
The team was hard working, timely, knowledgeable, and professional. We now have the home of our dreams and the chef's kitchen that is the centerpiece of family time.

Beyond happy with my finished bathrooms. The tile floors and showers are beautiful. Nik guided us through the whole process and his team was very helpful and professional. They asked us questions about options we didn't know we had so we were able to get better than what we had imagined. We're very grateful we chose to work with this team! 10/10 recommend.

They are very friendly and do great work. This company is willing to make sure the job is done right, and they continuously come back to check the project and our level of satisfaction (even after the project was complete). We love our new floors and baseboards and plan to use K&B Remode again! Tyson and David were fabulous.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

I hired them to remove a load bearing wall from my house, I wanted to make sure whoever I hired knew what they were doing since it's such an intricate job, Alfredo showed up to give me an estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable, we agreed on a price, two weeks later his crew showed up, they were super clean, put plastic on all my walls/furniture/flooring to protect it from dust, they got to work and did a fantastic job, I'll definitely keep their contact info for future projects

Ben is probably the nicest and most knowledgeable granite/tile guy I've ever met. He treated us great from start to finish - and after shopping around, our kitchen countertops ended up costing significantly less than other options. The folks that Ben selected to do the installation were friendly and the end result was awesome. Ben, thank you so much!! I live in the east valley, so I was a little concerned about having to drive all the way to the airport to visit the showroom, but I am SOOOO glad I did. Totally worth it - and if I EVER need tile or granite again, I know where I'm going - I will definitely recommend to anyone I know. Ben sent a thank you card a week after the install, and I immediately called him and told him that he was the one that deserved to be thanked! I will be doing business with Ben again in the near future (wife would like to fix up a bathroom downstairs). A++++ experience.

I can't say enough good things about the experience we had purchasing our carpet. I requested a quote online after being referred to them by the company installing our walk-in closet. Scott came out to our house with carpet samples which made it incredibly easy to make our decision. The prices are very reasonable for a quality product and we had the carpet installed one week after purchase. We couldn't be happier! The installers took great care in removing the old carpet and reinforcing the floor before installation. Our room looks beautiful and I would highly recommend AZ Flooring Direct!

Do yourself a favor and hire Olympic Hardwood Flooring for your next flooring project. Rafal, the owner has 1st class product knowledge and follow through. I found the company via the Internet when trying to find out who would sell and Install CoreTec Plus XL luxury vinyl planks. I am so happy that my search led me to Rafal. From the beginning to the end of the project, he was a pleasure to work with. I checked with other companies for quotes and his quote was the best offer. What I really liked about Rafal was his follow through. Every time he said he would do something, he did. I never had to worry or doubt my decision, did I make the right choice by going with this company. He is extremely trustworthy and ethical. I am so happy with my floors. I love my new floors. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Called to schedule my carpets to get cleaned and got all the answers to my questions so that coupled with all the positive reviews gave me a good feeling about this company. The truck arrived on time, crew was clean, and gone in about 90 minutes. All wall corners were protected from hoses with plastic, the tech wore booties and a mask, and carpets were pre-treated before being extracted. Carpets were rid of all animal scent and did not leave any lingering VOC smell.

We've had wonderful experiences with Handyman Connection. We talked to Lana recently and she took great care of us - treated us just like family! She lined us up with Tony Erosky and we couldn't be happier! Tony did everything from plumbing to electrical, and some of the projects were pretty challenging. He was amazing - the quality of his work is really top notch. His work ethic is so right on, "do the work as if you're doing it for your own family". He was very knowledgeable, intelligent, clean, courteous and communicated well. We are really looking forward to having Tony and Handyman Connection do more work at our place. We recommend them highly - really good people!

Was referred through another website. When they contacted, looked them up on the state licensing website and couldn't find them as actively licensed (azroc.gov for reference). Asked them for their license number. Crickets. That was more than 48 hours ago. I don't really expect a call ba

I'm going to summarize because a lot of things went wrong and were frustrating for us.
We needed to redo the floors in our whole house, ~1500 square feet. Half with vinyl and the rest (bedrooms) in carpet. This job was a nightmare and we are still living with disruption from it.
Biggest issue: the business model sets the customer up for failure. There is no core team that does all the work. The company makes money by hiring subcontractors to do large jobs for small amounts of money and through their sales force which upcharges you with car-salesmen-type tactics. We thought we were paying extra for service, convenience, and a good warranty, but have been failed on all accounts. We paid them to level our whole house (which they said was a $9000 service) and they only leveled half of it and were going to cover up the un-leveled area with carpet without telling us. When we realized what was going on we tried multiple times a day to get ahold of management (first we were ghosted for 5 days (though it takes seconds to get to the salesperson), then had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment with their warranty guy) their primary strategy was gaslighting, and according to the warranty guy, it was fine for them to breach the agreement *because they typically charged more so we couldn't complain*.
Express Flooring also did not clean our house as agreed on, they did not move furniture as agreed, and they left a huge scratch in the new vinyl in the middle of our living room that the subcontractors have already rescheduled at least 7 times with us late on the day of (causing us to miss a number of days of work) and when we called them out on it the subcontractor started calling in sick. They almost caused a plumbing clog by washing concrete down our sink but fortunately we were able to fix it.
They've cost us about 20 extra phone calls, multiple days of missed work and time spent waiting for the contractors who never showed up, $550 in extending our motel and hiring cleaners and movers to finish the job express flooring agreed to do, and have been very unprofessional and condescending throughout this whole process. We thought we were paying for convenience and a good warranty and have just been thoroughly screwed. If you're hiring them for a simple job such as next-day 1-room carpet installation in an already-empty room, it might be worth it to pay extra and get them scheduled the next-day, but if it's anything more you're probably going to lose the gamble.
The saleswoman Kim did all her calculations by hand on the calculator and would not write down her work and calculations or an itemized list of expenses, and just came up with a magical "this is the price for everything," but "it only applies while I am here at your house." Only after asking multiple times did she send us a very rough list by email. A number of times she would say, "I have to go to my car and call my boss" and magically come back with an offer that was somewhat lower. At one point she "accidentally" switched digits right before having us sign the contract that would have added a few hundred dollars to her commission.
Our contract was to include getting your furniture moved in and out of rooms and replaced where it used to be, and then a general cleaning/tidying so that you wouldn't have to do a deep clean or hire cleaners afterwards. Afterwards when we walked around the house and pointed out everything that was not done according to contract they just shrugged and said that the overall price we got was so good that we couldn't really ask them to adhere to the contract.
We asked them to come out and fix the HUGE 10 foot scratch they left in the middle of the living room (I think they pushed our piano over it), and the subcontractors prioritized new jobs over us so they cancelled the fix-it job the day-of literally 5 times (after my husband took the time off work to stay home so they could get it done) until the 3rd time we pointed this out to management and even then they called in sick another I think 2 times before we finally got them begrudgingly in the house to fix the scratch (and we had to double check their work to make sure they fixed the whole scratch too)
When we showed the shoddy work to other contractors (handymen and the flooring guy at home depot) they were shocked but said this unfortunately was similar to what they'd heard about EF in general. I'm still scrubbing the footprints off the floor and the concrete splashed on our previously newly painted walls, I'm out an extra $500 for cleaners, piano movers (they didn't move it to the right room), and it was a huge stress on us, our jobs, and our baby to be left in the lurch and having to extend our motel stay by another week.
