Best Flooring Contractors in Arizona

I would recommend Prevail Concrete & Coatings to anyone looking to improve their driveway, garages, or any type of concrete flooring! They are efficient and professional. I am impressed with my experience and will definitely be using them for future projects.

11/23/19 update
Remus, the owner, came to re-caulk our shower, which I really appreciated.  He removed the caulk from the previous job and re-caulked.  So far it looks good.

A friend asked for recommendations for flooring companies and I realized I have not reviewed Shiloh Floors even though they did extensive work at my place in 2015! So here it is:
Lee is absolutely super great! His guys installed my floors after the flood from the alcoholic ditz upstairs! He came with a truck FULL of samples, and that's after I gave him a detailed description of what I liked! Within those constraints he brought a boat load of samples. Spent better part of one day while I was making a short list. Then he gave me five that made a short list to put on the floor and see them in different light over the next few days! His workers were courteous, efficient, so darn precise, I can't say enough about how amazing their job is!!!!! Also, since I'm on the ground floor, it's cement slab. So, he suggested an industrial type underlay both for insulation and comfort, like what you would put in a ballet studio so you have floors that "give." it's a floating engineered wood flooring, dark, wide planks, GORGEOUS!!!!
Three years later, and it looks absolutely the same as it did when it was installed. No movement, no gaps, precise and wonderful. I highly recommend Lee and his Shiloh Floors to everyone.

these people are so professional, offer great prices, and are super friendly! I won't go anywhere else to have my house fixed. one of my cabinets never fully closed and they were able to fix that, as well as draining issue in my bathtub! keep up the good work guys!

I was very satisfied with the service Carlos provided painting my upstairs bedroom vaulted ceilings and bathroom. He was professional, courteous and the end result was perfection. Andrew and his team did incredible work for us during a bathroom remodel recently. Even though everyone is extremely busy he made an effort to meet with us right away, showed up on time, and was very clear with us regarding what he could do and when.  We received a quote within only a couple days and were very pleased with his very detailed quote.  He was willing to fit us in to his schedule sooner than expected and worked with us through several design changes and last minute requests.  We would highly recommend Andrew for your home remodel projects and plan to use him on another in the near future.

The owner of Drywall Perfection provided me an estimate for drywall repair in my garage based on texted photographs --very convenient! He was responsive and the estimate was competitive.

He had a worker perform the work. The worker was personable, and did a good job. The need for bull nose rather than angled corners was not clearly communicated to the worker (he didn't have the bull nose). I caught this after the worker installed the 90 degree angle corner. Not a big deal. I was more disappointed when another contractor was in within two weeks and pointed out nail pops near the ceiling that he said should have been done as part of the painting preparation.

Even with the two issues, I would still contract with these folks again, I would just review the details before the worker started (one can't assume anything). It was the first time I had someone do drywall repair. I now am more versed in how to oversee the job.

The work was done in Sept. 2016. I recommend this business.

Carl completed our kitchen backsplash a few weeks ago. I found him here on Yelp. He gave me a quote quickly after I sent him some photos and measurements. We used large glass tile and it came out beautifully. He was great to work with and did an excellent job at an affordable price. I would recommend him 100%. When we are ready to do the tiling in our master bathroom, I will call him again!

Ellen was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Not only was she the only company that gave us a quote. She also was the only one that was willing to work within our timeline. We had three other companies come out and none had a "yes" mentality like Ellen. I would definitely recommend her company and we will use her again in the future.

Wrote a negative review for the wrong location earlier, the review was for the Tempe location not the Phoenix one. My review concerning Robert Rangal still stands as stated except he is not the manager, he is a sale associate. As I was picking up my product out back Rick Schildgen (Regional Manager) and Tom (store manager) came to ask why the awful review and what happen. They listened and and understood the mix up, and went over and above to make me want to continue to come back and use this location again. The laminate wood flooring I purchased is amazing!!

Chris and his team were amazing. They tore down the wall that divided the kitchen and living room. We were told by a different contractor that we couldn't take the wall out since the plumbing was in a post tension slab. But Chris had his guys come x-ray the floor and they moved everything over. Definitely recommend AZ Dynamic Builders!

We needed a partial  bath remodel and went to the home show looking for help.  We found three companies and seriously compared them.   Colton came to our home to assess the job and prepare a quote.  He wrote up a quote that was higher than the others, but we decided to go with them because the product they offered through their show room was nicer in quality than the others.  

This company does not employ in-house construction workers.  They sub-contract all the work.  That explains the higher cost.  However, we were very happy with the work.  Colton was our salesman, Jaram coordinated the construction workers.  He gave us a timetable that worked for us and we were happy with the way the timing worked out.  
We needed the garden bathtub removed, a glass brick window reduced in size by half and a walk-in shower built to replace the tub.  

The contractors who came to our home were very professional and efficient.  We were most impressed with Johnny, who did the tile work. There were 2 mistakes: first, in how the tile was drilled for the plumbing; second it became apparent that the dye in the tiles was not consistent within the box of tile.  This showed up after the light in the room changed and tile was set. There were 5 tiles that didn't match the others.  Johnny came right out and fixed the problem.  Luckily we had extra tiles for him to work with and he was able to save us from having to buy another box of tile.  

When you are not well-versed with the construction business in our area, it is virtually impossible to find people to contract to do work.  When the job involved requires different specialties such as construction, plumbing, and tiling it is risky for the homeowner to hire one contractor to do all the jobs.  Without word-of-mouth recommendations, I became overwhelmed with my search.  It was expensive to hire Rise Above for our job, but we are happy with the results and I am thankful they supplied us with high quality workmen who did a great job!

My husband and I were recommend to Marie at Arizona Discount Flooring and we couldn't be happier! She has the best prices in town. She is extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of flooring.. it was a nice break from the typical pushy salesman type stores that are trying to push a specific product.. we will definitely be going back!
