Mike came to install a tankless water heater in March. Did a fantastic job. However in June we found out the hard way that the unit was not ventilated properly. I called at 11 PM and got Erin. She  was very helpful and had Mike connect with me immediately. Mike came out and reworked the ventilation as well as had Mike M come out and tweak the unit itself so it burned more efficiently.

Requested a quote today, he texted me to confirm everything and was out to my place earlier than quoted by about 25 minutes. Response was quick and he knew what the problem was right away. Had to get a certain type of pipe/valve connecter and was very prompt. Explained what was wrong, what needed to be done and gave me a price up front. We are remodeling our two guest bathrooms. Yesterday Dax and his colleague installed a new tub and shower valve in the downstairs guest bathroom. They were friendly, professional and respectful. They also worked quickly and even though it took longer than expected (no fault of theirs, the shower kit I purchased didn't contain a necessary piece that they had to run to the supply store to buy) they stayed until the job was fully complete.

Disclaimer: we are are still in the midst of the remodel so I haven't actually used the tub/shower yet. I'll update this review once we do and once the upstairs bathroom is complete as well.

Had Doug fix a septic system that was improperly installed and couldn't be serviced. He replaced the vault risers, repaired discharge pipe plumbing, repaired flush line end caps and repaired inlet pipe to tank. He had a helper with him. They arrived a little late and worked the full day. All looks better and seems OK after 1 week. I'll need to rake everything smooth as they did some backhoe work. The only negative was that they left all the trash for me to figure out what to do with. 2 very heavy concrete covers and three old plastic vault risers. No idea what / how I'm going to dispose. At the end, I asked him about them and he said I could plant flowers in them or use them to hold up a deck umbrella. Hmmmm. Nice excuse. ha ha. Next time, I'll make sure that trash disposal is part of the deal. I would use him again, including haul off of the trash.

So back in June I had a brand new $16,000 AC system installed. Parker and Sons has been out a total of 5 times for this. I contracted through #Costco to have a complete new system installed and new ducting to rooms. 1. They came out for the install which took 14 hours for a team of 4-6. The new AC was installed on a stand not graded for my roof, and they slapped a 2x4 under one side to balance it, the pressure box was installed on the wrong end of the house, the new rooms we ducted wrong, and only 1/3 rd of my house had AC. About 80% was just wrong. 2. They came out and jerrywrigged the system to get through the weekend for my brother's engagement party because I refused to be put into a hotel for a few days. 3. They came out and spent (I think) another 8 hours reconfiguring the system to work for my house. Got everything working, as far as I could tell. 4. Had a major rain storm right after surgery and found a pond in my hallway under the hallway intake. Got someone out the next day and there was 2 leaks around the AC that I heard about from listening to the guy in my attic while on the phone, but was only told about 1. The tar around the unit was bad. They had trouble accessing the attic space because of how messed up the install is. You have to remove part of the system to even get access to the attic, and it's almost impossible to access the last 20% of the attic because of the AC Install, so they almost missed the leak area. On top of that, dispite all the water and the softening in my ceiling, they swore there is no damage to anything and that it just dried perfect. Tonight is call 5. My thermostat and AC have stopped working at 1 am. I have a 3 yr old in the house and no air flowing at all. I called about 2 hours ago to their 24 hour service and haven't heard anything.

Keith has been wonderful to work with! He has been courteous, honest, helpful, and prompt with all of our needs. We have had lots of questions and he has been there to answer every one of them. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend Ideal ten times over.

Lousy customer service. They called an hour before 2 hour window when we went out, and didn't leave a message. Wasted two hours waiting for them to call/ show up. When we called at end of window, they gave another 2 hour window from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm. When no one showed up by 7:30, we called and they stated something came up and would not be able to come tonight.  Horrible communication, and would not recommend.
