I had John replace my two water heaters.  I had heard from neighbors and a friend that he was reasonable and did good work so I called him to get an estimate.  He was cheaper than Home Depot SAME DAY and I'm a person who like referral's.  He did a great job installing two water heaters in my second floor attic to include a flood stop device.  
I was so impressed, I had him return to replace my whole house water pressure regulator, then a third trip to replace the faucets that supply my clothes washer.  All three projects done top notch.  He shows up ON TIME!

John has helped us out a couple of times. Always prompt, courteous, and willing to give a firm up front estimate. Treats every job like an emergency, no matter how busy his schedule may be.

I came home one evening to find our toilet's feed-line valve broken--requiring some welding which unfortunately is not one of the particular set of skills that I have acquired over a long career.

As such, I pulled open Yelp to find a plumber which wouldn't rip us off.    The name John Hulse Plumbing gave me the warm fuzzies, because clearly this was a one-man shop that wouldn't sock it to us with inflated pricing due to overhead etc.

So I gave John Hulse Plumbing a call and spoke with none other than Mr. John Hulse himself.    24 hours later, he arrived at our estate.    He was very punctual (in fact, 5m early) which is rare with the plumbing industry these days.

30m later, he had the toilet back up and running with a new feed valve and a flex hose.    The total cost ended up being a FRACTION of what I was expecting to pay after a similar incident last year on our other latrine.  

We were very pleased with John and plan on contact him again shortly with some other plumbing tweaks around our place.

John has done several jobs for us over the years at our house and also has helped out with work for my extended family.  He is professional, he does great work and his prices are reasonable.  Would definitely recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!

If I have a plumbing issue, I call John.  My wife trusted him for years before we married.  He comes out quickly and finishes the jobs that he starts.  I've never had a bad result.

I called John at 8:15 this morning with a clogged toilet that just wouldn't flush correctly.  He answered the phone himself (WOW)!!  He let me know he could come by in a few hours.  He called me back within two hours and told me he was on his way.  Came in and fixed the problem within 15 minutes.  He was a nice man, and got the job done.  I will use John again.

John was very helpful and did a great job!  He's at the top of my list of plumbers to call.  I had an emergency situation and John was slammed.  I was able to get the job prepped (do the digging to get the plumbing exposed to work on) so that all he needed to do was the technical work.   He made time to get to the site and did the work for a reasonable cost (essentially what Ben Franklin was going to charge just to show up).

Called John after seeing some recommendations on the local home owners site.  Made an appointment for the next morning.  John showed up on time and got everything taken care of quickly.  He even noticed another small issue while under the kitchen sink and took care of it while there.  He replaced the 2 push on water shutoff valves and the supply lines under my sink and I have had no issues.  I went ahead and had him give me a quote for some additional work in the house and it seemed very reasonable,  I will definitely call him again for any plumbing issues.

We've had John Hulse out to our house 3 times now all for different issues, the most recent was today and he replaced our up in the attic water heater.  Not only are his prices the best I've found (and I've called several other places), he is very experienced in the field, and personable on top of that! Price was exactly what he quoted and he even rearranged his personal schedule so we didn't have to go the weekend without hot water.  Thank you John!

Not depenable at all. Originally had me scheduled to do some work and cancelled. Put me in a hugh bind since i had contractors waiting to do a job. Would not recommend.
