I got a letter from my condo assoc saying that my plumbing was leaking and causing damage in the storage unit below. Lou came out here and within 5 minutes had recognized I was not the root of the problem. He did a write up on the spot for me to give to my property manager (even tried to call them on my behalf) and truly could have not been more professional. On top of all that he was kind enough to silicon my shower fixture free of charge. I ended up paying WELL below I had expected, after thinking my Friday/weekend would be ruined, he actually made my weekend. Thanks Lou I will be sure to call you again with any issues and recommend you to friends!

Jim and his partner were fantastic. Very professional and they were in and out in under an hour. I would very highly recommend them to anyone needing a new water heater in a pinch.

We had a leaky sink that required a faucet replacement in a very tight work area and Rescue Plumbing did a great job. Pete and Noah were very responsive, helpful and professional. They not only did a great job but also were able to fix the problem without having to cut our cabinetry to make more space for all the faucet parts to fit properly under the sink. We would 100% recommend Rescue Plumbing.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.

All and all, no complaints, would highly recommend him.

I goofed up while making my Halloween costume which resulted in plaster clogging my bathroom sink.  I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp and they had great reviews so I gave them a call. They were very nice on the phone and were able to send someone over in the morning. Brian arrived on time (maybe even early as I wasn't quite out of the shower yet)  He was very friendly, and quoted out the job which was reasonable for the amount of work and expertise the job would require.  Brian fixed my sink quickly, he even fixed another problem that I wasn't even aware of.  He offered additional advise for a rusted out hinge that needed to be replaced, and was an all around pleasure to have in my home. I would highly recommend this company to a friend, and will call them again if I ever have any plumbing needs.

They came out the same day, much faster than they anticipated to take a look at our issue. After assessing and not being able to reproduce it, they recommended we keep an eye on it and not move forward with any additional services unless it happens again. There was no charge for the consultation, and they didn't want to do anything that would cost us a service fee until they were confident it would fix the issue. They seem trustworthy and we will definitely contact them again if we have any future issues!

I had no idea that my toilets were unique and polarizing.  Not all plumbers can handle rear-entry toilets apparently, but fortunately First Chicago was one who could.  First Chicago arrived on time, assessed the situation, set up an installation date... and then showed up and completed it.  What a concept!  Professional, timely, and competent.  They even provided the quality products without any supply chain whining or blame shifting.  So, I sit here on my throne a happy consumer.  Thanks, First Chicago!

Very professional service provided by Kevin!  He arrived promptly for all scheduled appointments and performed the work competently and efficiently and the price was beyond reasonable!  I will definitely recommend him to friends....you can't go wrong with Sound Plumbing!

Jesus came over the weekend to fix our clogged sink. I texted him at 10 AM and he was here a little after 1 PM - a huge relief as most places were telling me it would be at least 3 days before anyone could actually fix it. Pricing was reasonable for the short-notice/emergency - he fixed the problem quickly and was able to recommend fixes for the larger problems we have (he's coming back to do those too!). At the end of his visit, we asked Jesus to just make sure pipes under the sink were re-connected properly - he noticed the previous owner had not only used the wrong parts, but installed them wrong too. He was able to get us the right parts from his truck, fixed them and got us feeling confident about our plumbing again. He's a real good one!

Still awesome - Kevin was extremely generous with his time and expertise today. Two previous great visits (with installed sump pumps still going strong). One of my favorite suppliers !

Toilet backed up on a Sunday and I needed it  fixed the same day. Adam from Captain Rooter called me soon after my inquiry and explained what he thinks the issue is and how it would be resolved.

He texted me when he was 5 minutes away and arrived at the time he said he would. He came in with another nice fellow and they got right to work.

They got the toilet working perfectly again, triple checked to make sure the issue was resolved, cleaned up after themselves and thanked me for the business. This is what great service looks like, huge thank you to Adam and team for turning my messy ordeal into a pleasant experience!

Sims and Sons exemplifies excellence and Darrell is the man. We had an urgent issue today and they came out within two hours. It was sort of like 1-800-WE GOT YOU! A circuit breaker was tripping and we'd lost power in multiple spots in the house. They were able to find the problem and fix it within 90 minutes and also did a thorough explanation, without upselling, of what other work is needed to get the house up to code. We know we are facing a series of problems if we don't do the work and today was just a small sample of what awaits us. We will use them for our other jobs, no questions asked. Also, for an emergency the cost was very fair.

I can't say enough about the service I received from ABV!  My hot water heater went out - other plumbers were giving me dates a week or more away!  Not sure how we would have showered - it's 10° outside and I think our water was even colder!  Talked with them last night and they were out here by 8:30am!  Did great work and I am looking forward to a nice hot shower

Had an ejector pump go out on a Saturday morning during the epidemic lockdown. CJ plumbing was able to get here within an hour to replace the pump. The tech was respectful of social distancing, complete with mask and gloves. Neat and tidy, friendly and professional. Straight forward reasonable transaction with no issues.

We began calling multiple companies as we had limited time in Chicago with my 95 year old aunt before heading back to Florida. Juan was quick to respond and come to give us an estimate. We showed him 3 areas on her 90 year old pipes that had leaks and he gave us a price. During the repair he found the leak was way inside the wall. He said he'd try to reach it through an access hole already in the wall but may need to go by the actual tile/tub side. Oh no we thought. He did repair using the access side. Every step of the way he explained what he needed to do. We also threw in a possible kitchen sink and cabinet replacement which he was ready to tackle with his teenage son and my husband but we decided not to do it in the end. He had already cut a hole in the counter top which was perfect and we are holding onto it for future use. His son Eddie, was a great laborer and very polite. We will never use anyone else for our plumbing needs in Chicago. No one could beat his prices for the amount of time he spent with us. Thank you so much Juan and Eddie.

Noel is what I expect from a plumber. He was thorough and so old school when it came to plumbing tactics.  He even came in with a bucket full of tools instead of a toolbox.  

The beauty about this is that he got to the root of the problem, used the pseudo tool box as a bucket to catch the running water and issued me a hand written invoice just the way I would expect it from a plumber.

Noel did ask to take pictures prior so he knew what mess he was going to deal with so to that extent, he was tech savvy but the savvy-ness ends there. He'll tell you as it is with no BS.  He also took a picture of my drain for future reference in case he needed to reference back to my unit in the future.

He was fast and met me within an hour of initially requesting his service.

I'll definitely use Noel again for any plumbing needs.
