I went downstairs to do a load of laundry and noticed water & some type of backup all over my laundry room, utility room and wet carpet inbetween.  I didn't know where to start and gave Apex a call.  Incredibly professional from the initial call through the service.  They arrived in less than 30 minutes!!  Quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed Ejector Pump.  They had the parts and equipment to service on the spot, provided me with honest options to resolve and quickly got to work.  Truly a 5-star experience all around.  Friendly service, knowledgeable work and complete transparency.  It is a family run business and it shows from the dedication to customer service, being straightforward in explanation and ability to guarantee their work.  Can't say enough positive things about Apex and will be the only company I call with any future needs.

In selling my home I needed Jan to investigate a suspected leak.  Jan was attentive and did a thorough investigation and validated that there was no leak.  I needed his typed-up inspection report quickly and Jan fulfilled my request.  I would recommend Jan based his professionalism and the great customer service I received from him.

Victor is the most honest and efficient plumber I've ever worked with! I  found him through the recommendation of other plumbers I had called to help fix our main sewer line which had overflowed into our house. It was definitely a happy accident. He came to our house day-of to work on the issue and to start the process of getting a permit and installing a clean out. We have worked with many plumbers who gave us crazy quotes and tried to do other work that could have potentially flooded our house. I highly recommend calling Victor if you want someone knowledegable and great to work with!

Over 3 hours late with no apology! I had to reach out to see where they were. Kept saying 1 hour.

Eric is the best. It's so hard to find honest and knowledgeable people and we are lucky to have found him. Eric came out when our basement was flooded and within 2 hours of our call have the drain opened and the water gone on a SATURDAY! If you need a plumber look no further he's your guy!

Bert came for me on short notice after another local plumber delays his visit by a day. He was friendly, professional, thorough and efficient. Not only did he identify the issue, he gave me advice on multiple ways to resolve it, offering pros and cons of all methods. He was conscious of my budget, and worked his best, successfully, to keep the job well within my comfort range.

I'm sold, and while I hope I don't have to see him for a while, he'll be the first person I call if I need a plumber again.

Ryan did a great job--professional and explained everything I had questions about.  I'm not sure if I would use the company again because the cost of replacing and installing a water heater was well over $1,000 and they have no payment plan.  If you can't pay by cash or check, you are charged a 3% fee for using credit cards.  That was not mentioned when I asked about using a credit card when I called in for an appointment.  Everything else was fine--very good, in fact, but I might have looked elsewhere if I had known about the credit card charge.  I have limited resources and that pretty much wiped out Christmas money for me.

Gary was the best!!!! We had purchased a new water softener when our old one broke thinking it was going to be an easy swap.  Boy we were wrong!! Called Gary and he said no problem and was super reasonably priced!  Glad we found a plumber in our area for any other future occurrences.

Adam was very respectful in working with my elderly mother. He explained everything to her. The crew was responsive. They came out within a couple of hours of the original call. A secondary crew needed to be called in. They arrived within an hour and the job was finished by early afternoon.

Have used this company before once for non emergent maintenance after a recommendation from a relative. They came today to replace my dying sump pump after my emergency call...looking to avoid a flood!!! Very helpful and informative.......really appreciated their working me in today as I know they are very busy. Would highly recommend...very competitive pricing, knowledgeable and very responsive!

I had a clogged underground downspout drain in La Grange area.  Just noticed it during installation of new gutters, replacing probably 40 year old gutters.  Rooter showed up within an hour for a free estimate.  He got hands on and showed me how extremely jam packed it was with dirt and roots.  It had probably been that way for years and years.

He offered a few solutions and was honest about the probability of it being a total loss anyway after trying those solutions, needing to dig up and replace the pipe.  In the end, I think I'm going to avoid it altogether and go with a normal above ground downspout solution.  

Rooter has fast, reliable, honest service.  I'm going to call them again the next time I need a plumber.

Where quick, and found issues didn't know we had, the gentleman were knowledgeable and professional. Resolved issues quickly and cleanly. Would recommend!!

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

Jamey did a great job of rescuing our toilet and plumbing from a fumbled spring-loaded toilet paper roller which fell in right as the toilet was flushed.  He tried his very best to auger the chrome roller out of our rather rare Toto Drake .  But then had to turn it in it's side to get the roller out just in time to rescue the to be thrown away tp roller from our building's sewage system.  Our toilet is not new but it looks and flushes like brand new now !  Thanks Jamey and Zuniga's Plumbing !!
