They were very responsive and came out quickly to our condo. They assessed the cause of the leak and took action to fix the problem. The plumber was very helpful and professional. We would definitely recommend Apex and will use them again for any future plumbing needs.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Fixer recently. I hired them to install my kitchen backsplash because I saw the reviews on here, as well as one from a friend of mine that personally used them for tile work. I provided them with pictures of the work that needed to be done, advised them that I had a wet saw and all tools and products needed to complete the job, just needed someone with the expertise to do it.

I was quoted 3-4 hrs for the backsplash installation,  with 1-2 hrs for putting in the grout. I opted out of them applying the grout and decided to do that myself once they were finished. I was tight on cash and Fixer provided the best quote, so I went with them.

On 10/23, the fixer showed up on time and ready to work. I gave him three options to set up the wet saw. He decided to use our garage. He got to work, and 3 hrs in he still hadn't had any tile on the wall. I asked him if this would take longer than the 3-4 hours I was quoted and he told me he thought I knew it was going to take longer and the dispatch should have told me. I told him to stop working because I wasn't prepared to pay for more time. He said it would take more than double of what they quoted me to finish.

I spoke with the manager John who said he would look at the transcript and see if was an error in their side. He called me back and told me it was and that they would finish the job for the amount quoted. I was satisfied with this, so I told the Fixer to continue, even let him speak to the manager John to confirm.

There are multiple tiles without spacers, which make each tile visibly uneven. Some of the cuts made on the tile are even visible when the covers for the outlets are on. The entire run above the stove isn't level and they used unnecessary tile behind the stove, even though I provided a piece of wood to hold the tile up so we wouldn't have to waste any tile. There was also mortar left on multiple tiles as well as the wall, where no tile was laid. The mortar for the tile is be dry by now, and it doesn't seem like anything can be taken off, so it will have to be chipped off or something.

Overall this experience has been terrible. Not only was I quoted incorrectly, but I am out 400 dollars for the time I was willing to pay for, and I am out on the tiles used that will have to be taken off due to poor installation.

Eric is the best. It's so hard to find honest and knowledgeable people and we are lucky to have found him. Eric came out when our basement was flooded and within 2 hours of our call have the drain opened and the water gone on a SATURDAY! If you need a plumber look no further he's your guy!

Bert came back today, about a year after the episode described above, to do a check-up and (if necessary) further rodding of the sewer line that had caused such serious problems for me and our entire small condo association.  Let me just say that Bert is one of the most impressive building trade professionals and business owners I have known in my long life.  If you ever have trouble with your sewer line (bathroom or kitchen), call him immediately and keep your fingers and toes crossed that he isn't already fully booked!  I love you, Bert, and wish you the very best!  I only wish I could take you with me to my new home three state lines away from Chicago (where I'll be moving soon), in case my sewer fails there!!!

I woke up to no hot water and called Plumbing Pros based on the reviews. They came within 45 minutes and said that the water heater needed replacement. He looked up the year of the model -14 years old -and indicated that the warranty expired after six years. He gave me an estimate for how much it would cost to replace it and told me to call him if I wanted it replaced that day. I called for a second opinion and estimate which also said it needed to be replaced. Plumbing pros was the better estimate by a few hundred dollars. The service was exceptional. They laid down materials so that my floors wouldn't get damaged in the process, they finished the job in about two hours, they showed me how to operate the new water heater, and gave me instructions for maintenance and then register the warranty and sent a bill before leaving my home. He also asked me to text him to confirm that it was working. I got busy doing some work at home and didn't text him so he texted. Highly recommend this service.

The 24/7 Service Team was awesome! Jose Castaneda and the other team member provided me with excellent service from the moment of contact until the job was over within the one day time frame which was actually a few hours. Not only was my issue resolved, but his plumbing expertise resulted in better service. Initially, I needed my toilets repaired. Jose suggested that I replace the toilets. He told me the brand and where to purchase. I purchased them immediately, and the next day they were picked up- by Jose and partner and installed. I couldn't be more pleased with the new toilets!  My home has never been more pleased! The team was efficient, knowledgeable of ALL plumbing services, polite,  and HONEST! Not to mention- the costs were reasonable. If you don't contact 24/7 Service Team for ALL of your plumbing needs- you'll be disappointed!

Captain Rooter Emergency Plumbers responded and resolved the small gas leaks in basement promptly and efficiently. Very pleased w the attitude and professionalism of Gabe, the service tech, who drove all the way from Chicago. Nicor confirmed that the gas leaks were resolved & turned gas back on. While the total cost was expensive, at least i have peace of mind that I know there are no small gas leaks which probably existed for who knows how long? Hopefully this equates into savings on my gas bill!

Our old water softener failed after so many years. We called different contractors and Arco was able to come out soon and at a reasonable price. They replaced the water softener and left our home clean too. Thank you. If we have other issues with our plumbing, we will be back for sure.

Charges a rate higher than that of a licensed plumber.    i didn't want to take the chance

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day.  He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning.  Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly.  He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing.  Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

Ejector pump was running more frequently and seemed like ground water was coming in. They quickly went over to the main sump pump which they realized had failed causing the water to look for another way out.

These guys are pros and the company was super quick to respond. What else can you ask for in a plumbing service?

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

Walter knew exactly what to check for my sewer backup issues. He found the source and cleared the pipe within an hour. Efficient, experienced, and friendly.  Grateful for the work to be done so well, and so quickly.
