I messaged Drain-EEZ Plumbing about my broken disposal on a Sunday morning, hoping they could provide a quote for the fix. Instead, I got a prompt reply from Pat offering to first try to help me over the phone. I gave him a call and he walked me through what he correctly expected to be a quick fix I could do on my own. He saved me the cost of a visit and taught me a new skill - can't thank him enough for the great customer service!

Don't know much about the company, all I know is they hired an amazing plumber , Jim, who is through and quick!!!! Had an emergency situation and he resolved it in no time !!!!!!!! Great service, will recommend them highly. Thank you

I suddenly needed help with 2 toilets and I called Rescue Plumbing on a Monday morning. Two great guys - Loga and Jenkins - came out that afternoon. They unclogged the toilets and were in the process of replacing the gasket on the older one that was also leaking when they noticed a faint crack in the tank and recommended that I buy a new toilet. I said yes and in less than 24 hours, they were back with the new toilet, installed it and hauled away the old one. Loga and Jenkins were very nice, courteous and capable. I could not have been happier with a plumbing company. Was it reasonably priced? I can't really compare but it seemed reasonable. Thanks, Rescue!

I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a couple connecting pipes under my sink in the kitchen.  Great experience with Scott across the board:  high quality, careful and very quick service (e.g., took probably only an hour all-in because Scott was efficient), competitive pricing, great responsiveness and easy communication via texts, flexible scheduling, efficient and accurate estimate with a breakdown of input costs, proper safety precautions during the pandemic (e.g., mask, social distancing), cleanliness (cleaning during and after the project being done).  Scott was a good professional when discussing repair options (e.g., he shared his professional opinion but wasn't pushing a particular solution) and very detail oriented (e.g., Scott even installed the new pipes so that they consume less space under the sink than before).

Highly recommended.  I will reach out to Scott for any plumbing issues going forward.

Rocket Plumbing saved us from near-disaster when our ejector pump crapped out (literally). They were able to send guys over to our place in less than an hour on a holiday! Mike worked on our pump and was super nice, thoroughly explained the problem, and waited patiently as we figured out next steps with our condo association. Our toilet was back up and running in about an hour. Highly recommend!!

I had water backing up in my basement in Pilsen area and needed help quickly. I put a request on Yelp that sent to 7 different companies and these guys responded under 2 minutes it was crazy fast. David came out the next day and had to trouble shoot a few things because I have an odd setup in my basement. He figured it out fairly quickly after some conversation with his manager and they ended up having to hydrojet my pipes because we use too many flushable wipes. (Ladies and gentlemen learn from us those wipes are NOT flushable. Well they flush they just don't break up as easily as toilet paper) I really appreciated the fact that David took the time to explain that to us. We aren't plumbers and just go about our days. He sees this Sh!+ (pun intended) on a daily basis so to hear what caused the issue has already changed our bad habits. David fixed the issue and even came back the next day with his manager to make sure it was all good for us. I will use Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals again. Hopefully not too soon but will recommend to family and friends.

Another HuGE note here is I have had plumbing issues in the past because I had a bad contractor so had to have things rechecked and redone the right way. In the past I have always felt bamboozled or swindled by having to purchase something more or felt as though the issue was bigger then it really was and therefore cost more money then originally quoted. I can tell you I didn't feel taken advantage of Infact I felt the price was extremely fair here for how quickly they responded and had my issue rectified.

Why go anywhere else? Jose is as professional as they come, competent as they come, and unbelievably reasonable as far as price. My bathroom sink had a huge hole in, and shooting out water. I called Jose left a message and he called me back promptly. He came to my house with the part, unlike a lot of other plumbers who will leave and charge you as they travel to the hardware store.

As far as I'm concerned he's my plumber for life.

Have used these guys for a few projects with a couple of my properties. They are quick to follow up and communicate everything clearly via email and invoices, I misinterpreted something that one of workers and I discussed, but it was in fact written clear as day in the invoice, so it was my fault. they are very fair, and wont do unnecessary work if it is not needed. They will also make recommendations, but will not pressure you into getting those things performed. They are on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for! Have not had any issues with any of the work they completed, and they were super helpful and flexible with scheduling!

Amazing service. I ran into an issue with my new stove. The gas pipe needed to be moved. The owner, Kevin, accommodated might tight work schedule and completed the work the same morning. Another contractor provided an outrageous estimate that was  extremely over complicated and unnecessarily destructive. So glad I contacted Sound Plumbing for a second opinion. It saved me hundreds of dollars and tons of heartache.

Great service! Jesus is very honest and reliable. Came late at night for an emergency situation. Will be using him again.

I have used Green Tech for many years and they are a reliable, trustworthy, and extremely efficient company. Their plumbers are prompt and courteous. Recently Eric did a great job fixing some issues with two of my toilets.

Midwest hydro addressed clogged tubs and sink in my property and they were great. Good communication throughout the process, very professional, and go the job completed in timely fashion. They also maintained a neutral position on what needed to get done vs items that could wait, so no over-selling to generate business.  Would hire again.

EDIT: I originally gave gave 3 stars but they did reach out to me and refund me a portion of the bill. I feel they should still do a better job of providing an estimate of the price before coming to the job.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The charge $400 to fix a wax ring on a toilet. It only took them 10 minutes to fix it and they did respond within an hour of me calling but that is way too expensive for the job.

My in-laws redid their kitchen and gave us their much newer dishwasher to replace our old one. I tried to hook up the new one myself but it was over my head. I reached out to Sims and Sons and spoke to Darrell, the owner. He got over to our house quickly and checked out the situation. He quoted me a fair price and he got right to work.

He had to run to Home Depot to pick up a couple of things but was clear about not charging me for travel time. When he got back, he and another guy quickly hooked everything up and actually made a couple of improvements to the setup.

Also, they did all of this on a Sunday and there were no extra charges for this! When they left, they made sure to leave everything spotless.

I'm happy with both the work and the price.

I will definitely use Sims and Sons in the future and highly recommend them.

I needed a plumber at short notice. I did Yelp reviews and I found ABV. We worked out a time for us to meet. Chris was prompt and met me at the front door. He put on booties to keep the floor clean and started looking.  He found the problem quickly, went out for a part, was back soon. He finished up installation (including being nice about a propane torch smell) and cleaned up well. Price was good. We're going to start using him more for our work at home.

We had our injector pump in the basement fail, which caused sewage to leak all over the finished and unfinshed parts of the basement.  Dmitry and his crew came super fast, identified the problems quickly, and provided accurate estimates for all repairs before executing the work.  They also provided a great recommendation for a rehabilitation and repair company.  They were fast, honest, and knowledgable.  I am a customer for life.

They also wore masks and were very good about taking proper COVID precautions so there was no problem in letting them inside the house for them to do their work.

Spoke with Mike over the phone and he gave me some DIY advice on some of the trouble I had with my old faucet. Though, I didn't feel comfortable changing the faucet myself as the pipes I had were old, I decided to have him come over and do it. During the process, I was able to watch and he answered all the questions I had about what he was doing and he answered all the general plumbing questions I had. I would highly recommend him as he's very knowledgable and patient.

Juan came out because one of the toilets in my home kept running. The water kept running. Juan replaced the fill valve, flapper and supply line. He even looked at the walk in tub/shower drain in the same bathroom. He told me he can fix it and it won't leak he gave me a price. He told me if he can't fix it he there would be no charge. He tried to fix it but he checked and it still leaked after he fixed what he fixed. That was no charge. The toilet he fixed it and I am very satisfied with the work Juan did and the price was very reasonable.

Noel was great! Quick and clear communication, was able to quickly come out, identified and resolved all of our problems and did so with complete professionalism every step of the way! Would highly recommend!

He rotted out our tub, assessed pipes and garbage disposal, and installed a new sump pump, along with its backup.
