I called Drain-EEZ when my garbage disposal chewed up a tiny glass bowl.  I thought it was done for and would need someone to come out.  When Pat heard my issue - he selflessly told me to save my money and he would walk me through fixing it myself.  He told me the tools it would need, where I could find them at the nearest Home Depot, and his cell phone to call him back when I was ready to go to work.  The garbage disposal is running like nothing even happened.  I'm confident Pat's patience and attention to detail would make him the right plumber for any job.

Mac is the best there is in Chicago for any plumbing needs. The first time I called I had blown up my disposal and he responded immediately, fixed it well, and was incredibly professional (not to mention affordable). Then, this morning I woke up with no hot water. I called Mac and he was at my house in less than an hour. Not only did he get everything up and running right away, but he showed me how to fix it in the future! I can't say enough about Mac as the best there is in the city and I would recommend that everyone call him because you will know you are getting the best service from a good person!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

Scotty's Plumbing must be on your go to list for plumbing service.  You will receive professional, friendly service with a contractor that actively communication with you.  Our issues were relatively minor.  A few photos shared with Scotty before his appointment allowed him to pre-diagnose the issue.  Pricing is more than fair.  Highly recommend Scotty!

Incredible plumbing Company and support. Extremely knowledgeable, will fix the issue at hand quickly, and are not looking to nickel and dime you for every little thing. End of day not saying they are going to do service every time for free, but Rocket is VERY fair, their reps are kind and helpful and don't mind you watching or asking questions...

I originally found out about this Company from a neighbor who installed a new water heater. Even though they were servicing her building, they came over and gave me their thoughts on an item I was having some issues with. No charge and took the time to explain the issue and help me out.

Also used Rocket for some toilet issues and they were not only super fast to install new hardware, but stuck around to make sure it worked properly and my concerns were addressed. Their phone rep is very helpful and tries best to identify the issue and give prices, but of course you need onsite inspection by their techs to identify the issue and quote official prices.

Put it this way, if I run into a plumbing issue down the road? This is who I'm calling. As for someone giving them a 1 star for showing up late... *yawn* I guess that's the same person that expects a hospital to drop everything they're doing for stubbed toe.

A+, 10/10 service. You wont be disappointed. Finding a good plumbing Company is not an easy task and a necessity as water/plumbing damage is one of the worst things that can happen to your home. Get this Company in your back pocket asap.

Had a clogged kitchen drain and we needed a plumber. Although we had a recommendation for another plumber, came onto Yelp and saw the rave reviews for Windy City. Jose came a few days later and was fantastic. He and his assistant were early for the appointment, completed the job in an hour and cleaned up after the work was complete. Not only was he timely, he was pleasant and courteous. He was professional and reasonably priced. You really can't ask for much more! Thanks Jose and Windy City Plumbing.

I was very impressed with the fast response time and honest opinion of First Chicago Plumbing.  I am currently selling a property and the buyer asked to have the rusted gas pipe to the grill outside replaced per the inspection.  I contacted First Chicago Plumbing for an estimate and they got back to me within an hour to schedule an appointment that afternoon! Unlike some other companies I contacted, they did not charge to come out and look at the issue to provide an estimate which I appreciated. Upon looking at the pipe, our plumber, Eugene, stated that the rust was purely cosmetic and was not impacting the functionality (no gas leaks or weak spots); it was just normal for a pipe being outside.  He recommended leaving it alone because the new pipe would rust in a year again anyway and there was nothing wrong with it. I asked for a write up of his recommendation that I could provide to the buyer and he promptly got it to me the same day.

While I did not have any work done, I will definitely contact them in the future for any plumbing needs as I appreciated their honesty and was more than happy with the estimate they provided if, in fact, the pipe were to be replaced.

Kevin was super responsive! He called to ask me if I minded movings things around since he had an emergency issue come up but was very respectful if I couldn't move things around. He called to let me know when he was on his way and he came, fixed our toilet and was out in 30 minutes. Happy to find someone I can trust and will definitely pass his name on to other homeowners!

Due to a massive tree in our front yard near our sewer line connection with the house, I need to have the line rodded out annually. I did notice that our cleanout access port showed standing and elevated water level, so it was time to rod it out. After a disastrous experience with another company last time, I was pleased to work with Josh at Green Tech. He came out to the appointment precisely on time, despite the rainy weather and was very professional. The rodding was performed without making a mess on the front yard (unlike the other plumbing company I used before!). It was confirmed that tree root was the issue, and it was taken care of with the rodding. Afterwards, Josh provided me with some design ideas and a sanity check of an improvement to our sump pump drainage routing (external to house), which was very much appreciated. I am looking forward to using Green Tech for annual scheduled maintenance of our sewer line.

Contacted Midwest Hydro Jetting for advice, after hiring another company whose hydro jetting machine was underpowered, and unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line.This company recommended that I spend several thousand dollars to install a clean out, which I realised may or may not solve the problem, given that the location of the blockage was towards the back of the building. Midwest recommended trying to rod out the line first, before resorting to having them hydro jet, or install a clean out I appreciated all the advice, and how they were trying to save me unnecessary additional expense.

I took time off work and the plumber did not show up for scheduled appointment nor did they provide any type of update.  

Update: Changing from a 1 star rating to 4. I was contacted after writing the review and they apologized for their scheduling mistake. They offered to provide a discount so I decided to give them another shot. Chris was able to resolve the leaky shower faucet issue and constantly running toilet issue. I wish they told me there would be a 10% credit card fee up front as I would have prepared a cash payment.

I reached out to Darrell because the diverter for the bathtub was not working properly. He was able to come the day of and got the job done properly. He even went out of his way to re-cut the copper piping to a perfect length so that the tub spout would be flush to the wall. while he was there, he also have me an estimate for another job (electrical) since he is a licensed electrician!  i cannot recommend this company highly enough!

I like i got a Quote on Yelp instead of being told they cant give a price without someone coming to the house and then you are potentially wasting days and then you get a too high quote but feel pressured to go with them, so when i got a quote from ABV and thought it fair i made a appointment and they came the next day.

I recently purchased a condominium and had to redo some of the plumbing work in the bathroom and kitchen.   When I reached out to Dimitri, he responded immediately and asked very good questions and for some pictures so he could diagnose over the phone.   He was able to schedule me within a reasonable time and his plumbers arrived promptly as promised.

The plumber arrived and was very polite and respectful. They took care to watch their surroundings and asked about wearing a mask. Also, during the repair work the plumber took the time to explain the problems and was very transparent about what needed to get done to properly repair.  If there were additional findings, the plumber reviewed those with me and asked for my approval prior to purchasing another part or moving forward with additional work.

I have used CJ plumbing a few more times since then and the experience has been spectacular and consistent among the different plumbers.

I did the Yelp thing where they send out requests for quotes to a few vendors and Mike replied right away, and once I had a chance to call him he was able to get to my place about an hour later and fix my kitchen water pressure and connect the water line to my refrigerator. Mike was cool and personable and obviously good at what he does, and the price was fair and in line with a couple other guesstimates I had looked at. A good experience overall and I will call him first next time I need a plumber.

Had a backed up ejector pump that was causing backups in the furnace runoff...Juan contacted me immediately and first of the projects I set out to bid and happy to see he was highly recommended...he came out in less than 12 hours and was able to address the issue and took great care of installing a new pump that should last much longer than the cheap plastic one that failed.  Really happy with the outcome and no more issues

Noel is what I expect from a plumber. He was thorough and so old school when it came to plumbing tactics.  He even came in with a bucket full of tools instead of a toolbox.  

The beauty about this is that he got to the root of the problem, used the pseudo tool box as a bucket to catch the running water and issued me a hand written invoice just the way I would expect it from a plumber.

Noel did ask to take pictures prior so he knew what mess he was going to deal with so to that extent, he was tech savvy but the savvy-ness ends there. He'll tell you as it is with no BS.  He also took a picture of my drain for future reference in case he needed to reference back to my unit in the future.

He was fast and met me within an hour of initially requesting his service.

I'll definitely use Noel again for any plumbing needs.
