Pat and Lou are not only expert plumbers, but great people who obviously really care about the work they do.  I've used their expertise twice within the last year. The first was a for a non-emergency situation for which Pat explained step-by-step what needed to be done and possible negative consequences to properly install our washer and dryer in our newly purchased, cheaply-rehabbed home.  All went well and fortunately(?) I've been able to do laundry sans problems (outside of my laziness) ever since! The second situation was more serious and urgent. I came home last week to an obviously busted pipe in our basement. Apparently the rest of the Chicago-area population was experiencing the same, as no plumber could come out for at least 24 hrs. I called Drain-eez and initially Pat said the best he could do was send someone out the next afternoon. I held on to his appointment but was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised by a call from Pat about an hour later that his plumber Lou would be on his way due their concern that you have no running water and more pipes could burst in the extreme cold causing major, major problems.  How caring and courteous is that?  Lou came out within 20 minutes, figured out the problem, only had to cut a small hole in our wall, and, viola, fixed it!  He gave us some wonderful advice regarding how to avoid this in the future, gave us a Yelp discount after charging us a VERY reasonable rate, and was on his way after what had to have been a very long day for him.  Pat and Lou and Drain-eez are AWESOME!  Call them NOW for your plumbing issues.

I called fast plumbing due to their great reviews on YELP.  AND they are all true. I had to have my water heater replaced after several issues over the years. I spoke with them over the phone and immediately felt comfortable. They came to my house over the weekend within 30 mins of the phone call and the old water was removed and the new water heater was installed within 1.5 hours. WOW. The price was very reasonable compared to others in the area. He did not charge me a weekend fee either. These are good guys and do good work. HIGHLY recommended from someone who never writes reviews. THANK YOU

We're new first-time homeowners and as such panicked when Sunday evening, we had sewage backing out of our 1st floor utility room drain. We called Rescue Plumbing and they showed up within an hour and Dex and his partner were friendly and professional. That was all the good part. What's very upsetting is, they led us to believe that insurance would cover the cost of clearing out the blockages. I asked them if they will bill the insurance directly and they said no you pay us and then claim it on insurance. They charged us over $2000 to clear the blockage! That's like 6x of what anyone else would have charged. I understand it was an emergency call on Sunday evening but still quite ridiculous! Figuring insurance would cover it, I went ahead with it because with 2 kids at home and a busy week ahead, I didn't want to wait and shop around. I might have if I knew insurance would cover it. Next day, another plumber from Rescue, Joey, came out to check the backflow valve which is in the garage. I was busy working in the other room and he called me over and showed me that the valve had come out and couldn't be replaced and the entire fixture would need to be excavated from the garage. He also said that it's pitching the wrong way so that would need to be corrected. Cost of that was an additional $7200 and that insurance would cover it. After he left, I called my claims adjuster and she said there's no way insurance covers this. What's worse is that he took away the broken parts with him so I couldn't even show it to another plumber and get a 2nd opinion or see if they could repair it etc. I had a drainage guy come and clean the catch basin and hydrojet the lines a few days later and I showed them the backflow valve fixture and they said the pitch is fine, it's flowing the right way. While they were prompt and courteous, I'm upset about their charges and misleading me into believing insurance covers things that they should know aren't covered. Insurance only covers damages and loss of property, not fixing plumbing issues.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. I've dealt with plumbers who are good at their work, but bad at communicating, and others that communicate well but don't do the job very effectively.  Scott is the best of both worlds.  He sent me several texts over the course of 24 hours updating his status and ETA.  That's a real comfort when you need the plumber there right away.  Highly recommended.

Excellent service!  I called after hours and was surprised that they had a answering service that took down all my information and had someone call me first thing in the morning.  Being able to schedule on a Saturday is a huge plus for those of us that have a difficult time taking off work.  Anthony was excellent in explaining what the issues I was having were caused by and spent some time explaining the general plumbing to me which I have never experienced before with other plumbers.  I will be calling again in the future for any other plumbing needs I have and will also be recommending to my friends and family.  A+++

We hired First Chicago Plumbing to install the necessary plumbing, laundry box, vents and drains for our electric washer and dryer. Eugene and team were highly efficient in terms of email communications and were able to answer any questions I had regarding permits, inspections, licenses, etc. The team visited 3-4 times to ensure everything was done to the highest standard, permits were passed and inspections completed. The work was performed high quality work, ensured I was kept updated throughout, and made sure to clean up after themselves on all occasions. I used Sound Plumbing to inspect the plumbing at a property I was buying. They did a thorough job, scoped the sewer with a camera and checked all the accessible pipes and insured me everything was in good shape. I would use them again.

Jesus was awesome. Right after moving in to our new house, we had water backup in our basement. He assessed the situation, tested it the ejector pump, and determined it was just a stuck valve most likely due to having not been used in so long prior to us moving in. He said it if happened again we could just jiggle the pipe to dislodge the valve. He tested it a few times and it DID WORK. He said if I still wanted, he could open it up and look but I decided his verdict was good enough for me. He said it was NO CHARGE and wouldn't accept payment even though I tried to insist. He was really great at explaining everything to me since I know very little about plumbing or sewer issues. He was awesome and will definitely be our go-to guy for this stuff from now on.

GreenTech did a great job installing a flood control system at my house. They explained everything, we're professional, and honest. System  is running well. Called about 10 different emergency plumbers that were advertised as 24/7 & wasted time waiting for plumbers who canceled last minute. Captain Rooter was the only one who actually followed through with the appointment & kept their word. Stopped up laundry sink & bathtub drains were cleared quickly. Friendly with my curious little guy & my nosey dog, too!

I own a small business and we had an issue that needed to be dealt with right away. I looked around Yelp and saw the great reviews for Sims and Sons and decided to give them a call. Darrell was very helpful and let me know everything up front. I had a client at 9 and needed to have my problem fixed before then. Darrell had arranged his time so that I could still run my business by 9 AM - He told me he would be at my business at 8:30. He got here at 8:20. So right away I knew this guy was professional and that he wanted to make sure I was fully functional for my work. He worked efficiently, answered all my questions, and fixed every issue that I had. He literally finished at 8:58, just enough time before my client came in. He even looked at other problems that I had and fixed those as well. I was very satisfied with the service and he explained everything he did. Prices are very reasonable and he already let me know how much everything was going to cost before he came in, so I was prepared and was not bombarded with hidden or extraneous fees that other people try to cheat you with. They followed all the COVID guidelines, Darrell even wiped his feet outside before entering my building because he had walked through some dirt. Very considerate! I've had other people not care and just walk through my business and make my floors dirty. Because of this I can tell he truly cares about his customers. I will continue to hire these guys for any future problems. They deserve all of the praise that you see here!

I used ABV plumbing three different times and will continue to use them in the future for all plumbing needs. They are honest with pricing, flexible with scheduling, and very professional in helping me understand options instead of just selling one thing. This level of transparency is usually not encountered with services such as these and for that reason ABV plumbing will always be my go to when needs arise.

We used CJ Plumbing for some kitchen work. They came out the same day I called to check out what needed to be done, set up a time, and give a quote. Our countertops were delayed which then delayed the plumbing work on the stove and sink. They were still able to come back within 24 hours to do the work. Our stove had no gas shut off so they installed a shut off and connected the cooktop. The plumbing under the sink was all messed up, not up to code, and they did a phenomenal job correcting all the plumbing there as well. Not only efficient but done very well. Will definitely have them come back for future plumbing work we need done.

I highly recommend Mike! He came out yesterday to assess and fix a leaky pipe and he was honest and kind and straightforward. He did the work the same day and charged a fair price and worked efficiently. We will definitely be a customer of his in the future!
