A glass fell in our garbage disposal, and jammed it to the point it wouldn't turn on. I called to have a new one installed, but they gave me two quick tips to try and fix it myself, and it worked! What an incredibly honest company to be more concerned with  a happy customer than taking advantage of me to make a quick buck on the minimum for a trip out.

Fast service and very competitive pricing. We needed a new water heater quickly and within 24 hours we had one installed. The installer Jim was on time and professional and was able to walk me through everything he did. Very easy to make an appointment and communication was great.

Pete showed up ready to get the job done. He was professional and knew how to get the job done right and didn't cut any corners. By the book and brought calm to a crazy situation. Yes emergency work does cost an arm and a leg but what choice do you have. If you are going to call anyone this is the one to keep on hand for any future situations.

Great service at a great price! We had an issue with our garbage disposal and a back up in the plumbing. Scotty fixed the issue quickly and we haven't had any issues since!

Prompt, next day service, but pricing is outrageous. Called about a leaky P trap under kitchen sink.  Quoted 750.00 (with the disclaimer that the price could go up) to rip out garbage disposal, remove dishwasher, rip out a bunch of drywall...and that price didn't include putting my kitchen back together. Another company simply replaced the leaky P trap for 75.00.

You want a great plumber? Call Thomas and his team. They are truly the best guys out there.  They will fix any problem you have. They are real professionals that have the latest equipment, experience, manpower. They are respectful of your property. I had a complicated situation with all these obstacles in one of my rentals. Thomas was a hero and I called several plumbers before hiring Thomas. They will get the job done the right way. I promise you that. Fully licensed and insured and ready to work so do yourself a favor and stop wasting time and money call Thomas!

Kevin and Sound Plumbing are a major find.

Kevin was referred to me by Ed of Red Electric.  Kevin repaired and replaced a lot of gas pipes at my home.  He is honest, responsive, smart, skilled, friendly and fair.  He also looked at redoing a bathroom, and had a lot of smart recommendations.  I highly recommend Kevin and his company.

Woke up on a Friday morning to semi warm shower and figured the pilot light was out on the hot water heater.  Finished with my shower and upon going to the basement to inspect I was treated to water jetting out of my hot water heater.  I called Green Tech and talked to someone extremely helpful and ready to divert someone over to my house asap.  I didn't relish the idea of taking time off from work for a long process off replacing the heater.  To my happiness, they were able to send someone out first thing on Saturday morning.  Awesome!!

Luckily, it was discovered that the problem was just a simple crack in the outer faucet.  No new heater needed.  No con, no up-selling, just professional work that saved the day.

I requested a quote on Yelp to find a plumber for a line backing up with raw sewage into a walkway. Mike and another guy came and rodded out the main line and found a problem with a small sidewalk drain also.  They responded and came within a couple of hours.  Were knowledgable, fixed the problem right away, were very fair and also so pleasant.  Their work was guaranteed. I wont use another plumber after this.

I left a message on Yelp 4/12 re: a noise made after flushing my toilet and using my sink.  They came promptly on 4/13 and the tech was nice, friendly, prompt and stated that the pump needed replacing.  The amount of $320 was quoted.  Not sure if that was more than what I should pay but since I wanted the noise to stop, the tech was friendly, I went ahead with them.   Since then I have had no issues with job.  Will use them again.

Needed garbage disposal totally replaced. Darrell was outstanding, fair and honest. Zeno came out and was off the hook great. Could not have been a better experience. Even got a few tips about how to prolong the life of my new disposal. For plumbing and electric, these guys are the only ones I will be calling in the future. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our toilet was backing up.  To add to that, every time we used water anywhere in the house, it caused that same toilet to back up.  It was a mess!  Hristo came by, removed the toilet, and brought in a machine to snake the pipe.  He then put in a new toilet.  Hristo was very professional, good sense of humor, and got the job done quickly.  It was a messy job and I never heard Hristo complain.  I would highly recommend Hristo's company for any plumbing job.  Thank you again, Hristo!

VERY Happy!!  Dmitri showed  up on time wore a mask, took off his shoes at the door and went right to work.  He did a great job installing my new faucet and even disconnected my sprayer and suggested a soap dispenser I could install - I couldn't be happier!

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Our water heater stopped working about two weeks ago.  Since that time, we've tried several of the different large plumbing services who were providing large estimates without even looking at my issues.  For me, the very last straw was when I called one of the services I used at the very start of my issues.  The new technician explained to me that the technician that the firm sent out the first time didn't do the work correctly but he (from the same exact company) would fix me right up for an additional $4,000.

It was at this point that I knew I needed to try a very different approach.  I opened Yelp and placed a query for a plumber.  Juan from A&Y plumbing and Sewer Services responded to my query.  Let me just say that if you are a homeowner in need for quality work by someone who not only explains to you what needs to be done but also treats you with respect - this is the  company for you.  I have noticed in previous projects at my home that some of this large plumbing services assume that if you are calling them, you are so desperate to end your problem you will pay any ridiculous cost.  I've owned my home over twenty years.  I have at least a couple of instances where I knew I overpaid for subpar work and I was determined that I would be treated fairly in the effort.  With Juan I felt in my gut that he would be trust worthy because he started out with let me see if this can be fixed and if not, we can discuss other options.  This was In stark contrast to the other service where the gentleman immediately told me, this isn't something you repair, it is something you replace!.  He hadn't even come to my home yet.

In short, Juan was able to fix it.  He then walked me through the process he followed to trouble shoot the issue and correct the problem.  I have an advanced degree in information technology so root cause analysis is something I truly appreciate!  It doesn't mean i expected to walk away knowing how to troubleshoot this issue myself but for someone to just give me the respect of fully explaining what was happening and why we needed to fix/replace things.

For me, during a time when I felt like other services were treating me horribly - it was absolutely refreshing to be treated with kindness and respect. The cherry on the cake was that Juan's cost was reasonable and his work was awesome!  This was one of those times where I very gladly paid his fee and I am already referring him to my friends and family.   This is company is definitely a keeper for me!!

Honestly, I'm writing this review because I keep thinking that the name starts with Four something, but it's actually Five.  I've been a customer several times over the years and Noel has always been consistently very knowledgeable, a combination of friendly and professional, and very responsive.  I will always recommend this company to my friends!
