Unfortunately I cannot recommend Drain-EEZ. I called them to investigate a spigot which froze over the winter. They looked at it and informed me that because there was no shutoff valve nearby, the water in all the pipes in our 3 story condo building would spill when they cut the pipe to do the repair.  They also quoted us around $850 and suggested we instead pursue other options.

We called a different plumber and they completed the repair without any noticeable water spillage. We asked how they did that, and they stated they were able to locate a shutoff valve in the next room over. And they said that even if that wasn't there, they could have drained the building via a sink in the basement to prevent the vast majority of water from spilling. And their charge for this service? $170.

I'm not thrilled that I paid a $65 consultation fee to receive a crazy quote for a repair they clearly weren't comfortable doing.

Couldn't have asked for better service from Mac and his crew. I called him at 8pm on a Tuesday about a hot water tank that went out and he was at my place 12 hours later with a brand new one ready to go. About an hour later I was up and running! Mac explained everything clearly with no nonsense and was able to run through everything that wrong with the old tank in great detail. Definitely recommend him for any hot water tank and plumbing issues you have!

Had a pipe leak and the team at Rescue was able to make the repair within 24hrs of my call. Logan and his partner were very professional, taking the time to explain the issue and the needed repair. Would definitely use them again.

Scotty is great! He's always arrived on time and is very communicative. I was making some updates to my kitchen and needed him to install a new sink. He even advised on the size of the sink (he was familiar with my kitchen from a previous visit) and suggested a company to purchase the sink from since I was having trouble finding what I wanted at Home Depot and Lowes.

This is my first time using Rocket and it won't be my last! The condo building I live in had a serious sewer backup issue that impacted two garden level units.  We called around to a few places, and Thomas was quick to respond to the initial request.  We spoke one evening, and he was out out the next morning (with a couple of employees) to diagnose and provide solutions for the issue.  We did our due diligence by getting estimates from a few other vendors, but went with Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals as they provided the most comprehensive fix, with plenty of details on the process.  Thomas was also very patient with the many questions we had.

As the company name says, they really are 'professional'.  Everyone was polite, and focused on their work.  The job was done within the expected timeframe and for the amount quoted. Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals got the things done for a great price, and I highly recommend them.

Need more details?  Here's an example:  When getting a quote from another plumbing company, I described what Thomas and his team did to diagnose the problem.  The rep for the other company looked at me and said, Oh...they (referring to Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals) were using some of the best equipment possible.  I don't even have that sort of stuff on my truck.  If that's what they found, then that really is the issue.  It helped our HOA make our decision on who to go with, and we are all very happy with the results.

Do yourself a favor, and just give them a call.

Windy City Plumbing just left our home and they'll definitely be our first call any time we need plumbing help in the future.  The came to the house the same day we called, and arrived on the the early side of the one hour time window.
They were courteous and careful about keeping everything clean, and they talked through everything they were doing as they did it.  The work ended up being simpler than we expected; they were thorough, but quick.  They also shared useful tips about protecting our pipes in the future as well!  :)

I (weirdly and accidentally!) got a  spray bottle stuck in my toilet pipes, and it was super clogged. First Chicago Plumbing was FANTASTIC! Raudel arrived exactly on time, and he was friendly and super resourceful -- had to try a whole bunch of different things to get that dang bottle out, and he was professional and communicative throughout. It was all reasonably priced too, considering he literally UNINSTALLED and REINSTALLED the toilet?! I absolutely recommend these guys (and Raudel specifically!). Lifesavers.

Good thing I took that dip wads review with a grain of salt. I have hired Kevin for some smaller demo projects of my old bathroom and kitchen. I will be hiring him for the trim portion of my said kitchen and the new bathroom that I intend on installing in the near future.

I'm in the skilled trades like Kevin and I know for a fact you can't find much better of a craftsman or a more honest and down to earth guy.

I'll refer him to everyone I know needing a plumber.

Jesus came out the next day to replace my water heater after it broke the night before. He was right on time and finished the job when he said he would. Midwest hydro addressed clogged tubs and sink in my property and they were great. Good communication throughout the process, very professional, and go the job completed in timely fashion. They also maintained a neutral position on what needed to get done vs items that could wait, so no over-selling to generate business.  Would hire again.

Brandon did a great job in fixing my shower head that had been broken for over a year. They were at my condo within an hour of calling and fixed the problem in just a few minutes. Will be calling them back to install my toilet. Would highly recommend!

Dmitry was quick to respond to our call Monday evening when our bathroom drain was clogged and my husband couldn't fix it with drano or a snake. He sent Lenny the next morning who wore a mask and put booties on so our floors wouldn't get dirty. Lenny was very professional and knew what he was doing! I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!

I have had Juan come out twice to look at 2 issues. He used his camera scope to diagnose a drain issue and also installed a new sump pump for me.

All around one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. He was helpful in sharing his knowledge. He didn't take on work where he felt it was outside his expertise. When he did the sump pump install, it was very detailed and the price was very fair.

Noel came through for this first time homeowner! My water heater broke and began leaking at 10am on a Saturday and I texted Noel. He immediately responded even though he was in route to a job and continued to communicate with me all day to help. With a combination of my willpower to get a new unit myself that day, with his ability to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon, I had a new water heater up and running within 10 hours of it breaking.  Additionally, he showed me how to use features on the new unit and explained what is most important in an emergency scenario. He also was nice enough to remind me to register the product in case something went wrong. Noel went above and beyond what I would have expected and helped me remain sane in an emergency situation.  I will absolutely keep him on speed dial. There's a reason this conpany has 5 stars on yelp!
