My toilet was slow to refill and I wasn't sure of the problem. Pat was quick to respond and identify the problem immediately. He rebuilt the tank to get it running back to normal. A couple of days later I had a part break on another toilet. I called Pat and he knew the fix and helped walk my tenants through a repair with ease. He made sure I bought the right part and followed up when the work was completed. He was great in communicating and was very knowledgeable in both instances. Overall, my experiences with this business have been very pleasant, smooth, and I highly recommend using them!

If I could pick one home service/repair provider out of all of the many, many that I have worked with over the last 25 years of living in Chicago, it would be Mac.  I have called him three times over the years when my water heater has stopped working, and each time happened to be later at night, well after normal business hours.  Each time I called, I was expecting to leave a voicemail and hopefully hear back the next day, but instead, each time he either answered the phone right when I called or called me back in less than 5 minutes.  Two of the times I called, he was even able to walk me through how to fix the issue myself over the phone, without him even needing to come out and look at the water heater.  He never once brought up a charge for that help over the phone, even though it saved me at ton of time, effort, and likely money as well.  I had to ask him if I could pay him for that incredible service; he said no.  The one time when the issue couldn't be fixed over the phone, he came by to fix it himself the very next morning.  He has been friendly, patient, and known exactly what the issue was and how to fix it, every time.  He's the best.

Had a pipe leak and the team at Rescue was able to make the repair within 24hrs of my call. Logan and his partner were very professional, taking the time to explain the issue and the needed repair. Would definitely use them again.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp very spur of the moment.  My dishwasher was leaking when it drained and I just happened to have the day off work and wanted to get a plumber asap.  They answered the phone right away (a real live person--not a recording or answering service) and promptly told me they could have someone over at 1:30pm.  At 1:30pm on the dot Tony the plumber was at our door.  Unbeliveable!!!  He diagnosed the problem and didn't charge us because it was something the dishwasher manufacturer had to handle.  While he was here, I asked for a quick estimate to replace a shower head.  Tony was kind, efficient, neat and very professional.  I highly recommend this company and Tony.  Thank you Rocket and Yelp.

Truly an amazing company.  I originally called Chicago sewer and Drain for an issue I was having relating to my furnace drain in the wall.  My home warranty company later assigned their own technician, so I cancelled my appointment with Chicago sewer and Drain.  The company selected by my warranty,  didn't do anything so I called Chicago Sewer and Drain back and they were able to come same day.  That was truly amazing.  With in a matter of minutes he was able to diagnosis the issue and give me an upfront transparent price with no hidden hourly rates or fees.  The technician was honest, transparent, and confident.  I also forgot to mention I'm active duty military and this is a rental property, so we were able to complete the entire experience via phone.  He additionally documented his work by allowing me to see the issue via video and to hear the problem.  I've never had any technician go above and beyond like them.  They are trustworthy, honest, fair and I will use them again and highly recommend.

Heads up!  If you have a gas leak, DO NOT go with Windy City Plumbing.  They're not experienced whatsoever in gas leaks.  After paying them close to $1,000, they did not even come close to resolving my issue.  Jose was not reasonable, and would not adjust the price. They charge $100 an hour for an inexperienced staff.  I left him a message, and he didn't return my phone call.  I instead received a text message asking me to call the office.   After having Peoples Gas come out again, I sadly learned that for the price I paid them I should have a resolution to my problem.  As a result of this really bad experience, I felt compelled to forewarn anyone who was desperate like me and on the fence about hiring them.  This is my way of paying it forward.  Ask questions before you hire them.  Ask them about certifications.  Ask about their equipment.  Check out their equipment.  In my case, the pressure they were applying to test the pipes was bursting holes everywhere and would have never resolved my problem.  Their solution -- tear down walls throughout my entire building and replace most of my pipes throughout 4 floors.  Does that sound reasonable to you?  If it doesn't, then my recommendation is to do your due diligence.  If you do, you'll never hire them and will save yourself some money.

Gathered 4 different quotes to have a water line and spigot run from my roof deck to our nearest bathroom(~12 ft).  First Chicago Plumbing was the cheapest quote we received, with the next closest quote over twice the amount of First Chicago's.  Moved forward with First Chicago Plumbing to perform the work, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Not only were they the price leader, but their quality of work was/is impeccable. Additionally, the two plumbers that performed the work were friendly and engaging - a delight to work with overall. Having been 9 months since install, the spigot and bib have held up very well through the rough Chicago winter, and I have no doubts First Chicago Plumbing will be my go-to plumbing contractor moving forward.

Kevin was referred to me by Ed of Red Electric.  Kevin repaired and replaced a lot of gas pipes at my home.  He is honest, responsive, smart, skilled, friendly and fair.  He also looked at redoing a bathroom, and had a lot of smart recommendations.  I highly recommend Kevin and his company.

Had a backed up drain and Jesus was at my place the same day. Fixed the issue quickly and at a fair price. I asked him about another issue I was having with a backed up outdoor drain and he addressed that too.

Quick response, fair price, and easy to work with. I'll call him next time I need a drain or pipe rotted.

Updated review after talking with Kevin he really does stand behind his company he went above and beyond to fix the issues we had with our bathroom very quickly the handle works perfectly and they even credited our bill. I will always call Green Tech Plumbing from now on. We are completely satisfied with the work and the amazing customer service!!

Responsive, knowledgeable, honest and just generally good guys.  Now if only I could find an HVAC company that was anywhere near as good as my new plumbers!

We just bought a 1924 bungalow that had a panel from 1967, wasn't grounded, and needed to be moved to the side of the house from under the porch. Darrell was no-nonsense, got us scheduled within a week of his assessment visit (when other companies were telling us it would be months before they could get us in). Anel then came out with an awesome team (Eli, Graham, and Delvin), and knocked out the big job in one day. So friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and competent! Hire these guys!

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Juan and his colleague went above and beyond on a service call! I needed a toilet installed in my elderly parents bathroom. Juan assisted me through the purchasing process, advised me on how to measure for proper fitting, evaluated pictures I sent, and answered many questions. He was reasonably priced and offered to come out the next day.

Because we weren't sure if an elongated toilet would work in this small space, I purchased two. Juan installed the base of the elongated so my parents could actually see how it fit. We went with the round toilet and Juan also took the time to install safety rails on it and advised my parents not to use as a support bar to get in the shower.

Lastly, any business owner who actually takes the time to reply to his customer's reviews, shows how he cares about them. We'll have Juan back for another project for sure! As others mentioned, they came in mask ready and were incredibly polite, efficient, and cleaned up. Thank you!
