Pat at Drain-EEZ is amazing. I called and left a message because my garbage disposal unit stopped working for over a week and my sink was getting progressively more clogged and backed up each day.
Pat called me back within 30 minutes and said he was going to walk me through fixing it over the phone instead of charging me a fee just to drive to my house and fix it in 5 minutes. I followed his patient directions and indeed - it helped!  I had to do another step but my husband wasn't home to do it.  Pat gladly offered to have my husband call him when he got home from work so he can walk him through the final steps of fixing it.  This is especially great because 2 days before I had called another place and the guy was going to charge me $75 just to come out.
Pat is FANTASTIC!  It's rare to find a person / company so eager to help customer and so HONEST.  Thanks, Pat!  Highly recommended.

Don't waste your time with Google! Just call Mac, he'll fix your water heater just by looking at it. Great guy, super professional and clearly knows his stuff.  Highly recommend.

My Catch Basin was sinking into the ground. I got a few estimates from some others. But this one, Rescue Plumbing, gave me a reasonable price and they just felt like . Plus, they showed up on time and finished up on the same day as promised. If I ever need a Plumber again, I'll call these guys up for sure.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

Scotty is definitely our new go-to plumber.  He's thorough, careful, knowledgable, and dependable.  He showed up smack on time, knew exactly what he was doing, passed muster with our building engineer, and did fantastic work.  What impressed me even more, though, is how careful he was with the work.  He knew about the unique problems presented by high-rise buildings.  He made sure that the fixtures we were buying were going to be safe to use with our water pressure.  He insisted on seeing the spec sheets and brought with him all the valves, hoses, and supplies that were correctly rated for our building.  In short, he prevented me from making a mess of things.  I can not recommend him too highly.

Ben from Rocket Plumbing was so great!  He was on time and very professional from the start.  He replaced our drain pipes that were leaking under our sink.  While he was replacing the pipes, he was educating me on what he was doing which made me really feel like I was getting my money's worth!  I will definitely be calling him again soon! Well, I moved and needed major plumbing work in the new house. My only call was to Windy City. They had Chris at my house every day on time, and he worked his butt off. He was honest and showed us what he was doing and why, every step of the way. Excellent work and trustworthy company. The only ones I will ever call.

As usual, I wait until the last second to do any home repairs and this was no exception. I had the day off the next day and hoped to get some work done. I emailed Eugene through Yelp and received a response almost immediately. Not only is he a smart, super nice guy but he texted me that he was available the following day! He came over, assessed the situation and just got the work done on the spot. Really reasonably priced, fast and just good natured. I would use Eugene and First Chicago Plumbing again in a second. I used Sound Plumbing to inspect the plumbing at a property I was buying. They did a thorough job, scoped the sewer with a camera and checked all the accessible pipes and insured me everything was in good shape. I would use them again.

Jesus is one of the most professional men you can get and he goes above and beyond to ensure the issue is taken care of. We've used him twice now to fix our kitchen's grease trap and he's gone as far to ensure our restrooms are running well and he will be our business' go-to man in the future if any separate issues arise. I had a couple problems with my kitchen sink and a leaking garbage disposal. I asked for a quote via yelp and 5 other local companies were sent a quote request by yelp. Green Tech responded right away with a price. All the other companies prices were either extremely unreasonable or the other companies would show up very late or cancel on me for their free estimates that they wouldn't do over the yelp app.

I called Green Tech to set up an appointment and they were able to set up an appointment with me that day and within a couple hours.

My plumbers name was Kyle. He was extremely professional, knew exactly what he needed to do and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He was quick, clean, and extremely quiet. Kyle was so quiet in fact my 2 year old son napped the entire time he was here cutting and replacing pipes with his saws and wrenches. Kyle cleaned up after himself and gave me a full explanation of what he did, and gave me a couple pointers about my old garbage disposal.

Not only was Green Tech's estimate the best price out of the 6 companies contacted the final bill actually came under their estimated price. 5 star review. I've put a lot of work and money into my
Fixer upper house and this one small fix has been one of my best experiences. No joke. Thank you Green Tech and thank you Kyle.

I needed service today because I had a pipe burst from the cold and I had to shut down all water to my house. They gave a quote thru yelp and were able to come out within 90 minutes of me calling them. Their service was excellent, fast and they took care to keep things clean. The plumbers were very friendly and we talked about future work they wil be doing for me. And oh ya, the price was VERY reasonable! I recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Too bad all businesses weren't run as well.

Do not use this company!  They use unlicensed plumbers that have significant criminal history that caused over 25k of water damage in our condo!  (You can find full names of workers in other reviews...doing a quick google search will show you that they have robbed stores, drug history, etc).  
We called captain rooter to fix a leaky faucet on 2/15.  They send Dylan and Jonathon.  They had to cut into our walls by our toilet and faucet because they said we had a bad shit off valve.  They cut the pipe out around our faucet.  All fine.  They were going to come back the following week to fix it.  Never heard back from Dylan.  We called the main line again.  They then sent us Adam and James.  Adam then said if we pay him directly, he can do the job cheaper.  Fine!  We don't care!  Just want the job done.  It had already been 2 weeks with holes in our walls and no sink upstairs.  We paid him $1300 in cash.  He put 'shark bites' in our walls.  We thought the job was fixed and then woke up on a Saturday morning to water leaking in our downstairs foyer ceiling...upstairs floors ruined.  Downstairs floors ruined.  Called Joel again from Captain Rooter...he then sent Andrew.  Andrew came in and could not believe the damage and destruction that the previous 'plumbers' caused.  Andrew was there all day fixing the problem and then charged us $2028 for the job.
We are currently dealing with our homeowners insurance and all sorts of damage done to our condo.  Joel from Captain Rooter has been less than helpful.  He states it's not his fault.  
Just an FYI, I learned a lot about plumbing law during all of this.  Whenever you get a plumber, ask for their license and COI.  You can also look them up on IDPH website by name to verify.
Do not use this company!!!  If any one wants more info, I'm happy to share...just don't want to be a total Karen.  Just trying to save someone else from going through this DISASTER.  
Every plumber they send us was not licensed.  As a consumer, we had no idea this was a thing!  On their website, it clearly states licensed, bonded, insured.   They are most definitely not.

very happy with their service.  installed a ceiling fan for me and changed out a few switches and outlets.  he was in and out in less than an hour. this is the winning team here!

Requested quotes through Yelp for a toilet install on Sunday night. ABV was the first to respond and had the best price. They showed up at 10 am the next morning and professionally installed the toilet and took away the old one. Couldn't be happier!

CJ plumbing is one of a few business I would recommend. When I called about relocating a copper pipe they were able to come out that same night and give me a very reasonable quote then came out the next morning to do the work. Lenny did exactly what I asked for and did a great job. I will call only them for my plumbing needs from now on.

I have a tenant in Rogers Park and needed someone who would be able to go to the tenant and take care of a clogged sink. (I do not live near enough to be able to head over on short notice myself.) Mike responded to my request almost immediately, we talked on the phone and I provided him with all the information I thought would be helpful. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule an appointment with my tenant and handle everything that needed to be done. The job was not too small for him! So grateful that he was able to come out and handle this for me and quickly! My tenant said that Mike was an awesome dude and everything is now running smoothly. We both greatly appreciate his service!

Very quick (1-2 hr?) response to my request for assistance with my backed-up garbage disposal and kitchen drain. Juan gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to come by the next day with his son assisting him. It was a challenging clog but they kept at it and it finally cleared.

Very prompt, professional, and really nice. No salesy vibe, no upcharge, very honest and took the time to explain what he did and left my kitchen clean afterwards. Also appreciate the shoe covers and face masks!
