Lou from Drain-EEZ Plumbing came out today to fix a clog in my bathroom sink (in the wall really) that I unsuccessfully attempted to take care of by myself. First, my conversation on the phone to make the appointment was awesome. The woman I spoke to wasn't sure they could send someone out the same day I called (totally reasonable), but said she would call back if a job Lou was working on ended up leaving some time. Sure enough, I got a call a couple of hours later saying he could come by. Lou was extremely professional, friendly and careful in his work. He didn't seem rushed and took the time to protect the floor around the sink as well as to explain what he was doing and why. He was great to talk to and happily answered my (stupid) questions without any judgment. A true professional and a very nice guy. I felt the price was reasonable given how quickly the response was (and I had to replace a corroded sink trap). It's never fun having to pay for a clogged drain, but sometimes it's best left to the professionals. I couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks, Lou!

Had our water heater stop working and Mac was out same day to replace. He was helpful explaining what was wrong and the difference between fixing and replacing the water heater. We replaced ours with new one shown in pic which all reviews said were much better. I would recommend Mac to anyone looking for this help!

I punctured my own water line. Smart, I know. I managed to clamp the puncture long enough to call the first google result for 24/7 plumber in Chicago. From the call at 10:00pm, it only took 25 minutes to get Dex to my condo. He had the job done in 5 minutes (maybe less), where he had cut around a metal stud to fix the problem.

He was kind, courteous, professional, and fast. I couldn't have asked for a better service to help me fix a dumb mistake at 10pm.

I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. I was doing a project for my folks since they were out of town. I was refreshing their main bathroom. Nothing hugely laborious. New faucet for the bathroom sink which I replaced myself successfully.

I needed help with the shower/bath faucet replacement. The faucet was over 25 years old and was incredibly tight.  I was afraid of breaking something by forcing too hard. My folks were returning the next afternoon.  I asked for a quote on the phone but they wouldn't give me one. I was desperate so I let them come figuring it would be ok and I wanted to use a neighborhood company.  

All I wanted was to replace the tub spout and handle (and the shower head neck if they could loosen it since I installed a hand shower.). The staff wouldn't even try to look at the faucet I had purchased to see that it was standard thread without replacing the other parts that exist behind the wall.  

Instead they charged me $437 to use their parts to swap out the spout, handle and shower head neck which included labor.  I find this incredibly high. Don't get me wrong, the work was good and accomplished what I needed to but swapping out a faucet shouldn't cost close to $450.

I purposely didn't have them go behind the wall. I just wanted the spout and handle replaced since they were leaking really bad from age.  If you're in a rush at the last minute, they will get the job done but be prepared to shell out hard earned dough. I mentioned that I found them on Yelp but never got a discount.

Courteous, responsive, timely and quick. They cleared a persistent clog in the kitchen. They rodded deep through the pipe and had it perfectly flowing in a short time. Cost was fair to have my kitchen back in order. If you want to get your issue repaired fast call these guys!

I rarely write reviews but i felt Windy City Plumbing deserved that I share my experience with their service. There is a saying, when it rains, it pours and this was very true in my case. A few weeks ago, I called a plumber to rod out the stairwell drain. What I thought was a clogged drained turned out to be a huge broken pipe that ran underneath the foundation from the exterior into my basement. I had contacted several different plumbers for estimates and Jose was the plumber I felt most comfortable with. I normally contact contractors that are referred but this time I found Jose randomly. I can say I was fortunate to have found this very professional and thoughtful person, Jose. The cost and the work that was needed to open the foundation was extremely stressful. To add to the stress, I had just learned that my mom was terminally ill while dealing with the major repairs at home. Jose was not aware of my personal problem. He only knew from one of his employees that they had seen me emotional. Jose had given me the quote for the work that needed to be done which I had agreed to paying. The work that Jose and his staff did turned out to be more than they had expected. Not only did Jose not charge me more for the extended labor but he charged me less than the price we had agreed on because Jose said he had learned from one of his employees that they had seen me very stressed and hoped this could help me. Jose nor his employees knew of my mom's illness. I am beyond grateful for the work and their kindness. It is rare to find this type of exceptional service. I have become a loyal client of Windy City Plumbing and will refer Jose and his company to all my friends and family.  I believe in Karma and Jose's kind act will bring him continued success.

I contacted First Chicago Plumbing to fix a leaking toilet. Office staff were pleasant over the phone, and they provided an estimate over email with a couple pictures of the toilet and description of the leak. The plumber who came out was pleasant and professional. He realized the toilet wasn't secured properly to the floor (something I knew, but forgot to ask about initially), and demonstrated why that was the case (the flange was basically rusted to pieces). He needed to run out to as he didn't have the correct replacement part, but I greatly appreciated that compared to forcing me to schedule another service call. Overall, fixed the leak, fixed another problem I forgot to initially mention, and cleaned up well. Would call them again.

Kevin was great! He made time on the day I contacted Sound Plumbing even though he was busy. He came at the time he estimated and was able to efficiently fix my problem. I recommend Sound Plumbing with my full endorsement.

It was easy to reach him through phone.
He did a great job resolving the issue.  He gave 1 month guarantee on his fix.
The same problem happened again in 15 days. I called him and he addressed the issue the very next day. It was my tenants fault that they were putting lemon wedges and other big food pieces in the drainage. He fixed the drainage and did not charge me anything.  
I am surely going to call him again for any plumbing work.

A gentleman from Green Tech Plumbing named Dave came to address multiple plumbing issues we had, and addressed them quickly, effectively, and efficiently. He was incredibly polite and professional, and I would absolutely recommend him!

Our outside sewer line was draining very slowly after the rain. I requested a quote on Yelp and received reply from Mike in a day. He is able to give ma a quote after I showed him several photos. The repair was scheduled in several days because it was not an emergency. Daniel and Jose called 15min in advance and showed up on time. They were able to get a bunch of roots and dirts out of the drain and used snake to go all the way to clear the drain. Our drain was clear and flow very well after the cleanup. They also explained to us how to keep the drain clean and some maintenance tips. They also offered a 30 day warranty which is really nice. I am very happy about their service and highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone who wants an affordable and reliable service. Five stars!

We were having a hard time opening the inlet valve after trying to clean the air filter ourselves. It was hard to open, we had another company come and they were unable to open. We called captain rooter and they right away responded. They ended up sending Adam in less than an hour. It was a tougher and it took all his sweat but he was able to finally turn the valve and make our water heater operational in no time. We have a small baby and without heated water, we were really struggling. So, Adam was our savior for the day!

I needed the outlet on our back deck to be replaced and Darrell was able to come over the same day and not only fix the issue, but take some extra steps to make sure the issue would not happen again.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.

Very quick (1-2 hr?) response to my request for assistance with my backed-up garbage disposal and kitchen drain. Juan gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to come by the next day with his son assisting him. It was a challenging clog but they kept at it and it finally cleared.

Honestly, I'm writing this review because I keep thinking that the name starts with Four something, but it's actually Five.  I've been a customer several times over the years and Noel has always been consistently very knowledgeable, a combination of friendly and professional, and very responsive.  I will always recommend this company to my friends!
