Our garbage disposal was on the fritz, and we had tried all the fixes you can find online but nothing worked. Called up Drain EEZ and was greeted by the very friendly owner Pat. He offered to try to help us fix it over the phone as others here have suggested. I was dubious considering we had tried everything, but a little WD40 and some extra elbow grease to work the allen wrench and we had the problem solved. For free. Many thanks to Pat. I strongly recommend his services and will be keeping Drain EEZ in mind in the event of another plumbing nightmare.

Fast is right!  I had a new water heater installed in less than 30 minutes.  They were quick, courteous, and the price was right!

Everything everyone said about this place in other reviews mirrored my experience.  Fast, friendly, efficient.  A plumber named Dex came out very late on a Friday night to assess a toilet which had stopped flushing.  They assessed the problem as a clog beyond my unit.  It would require the whole nine yards, removing the commode, using loud machinery, etc. which couldn't be done that night.  A regular auger didn't work.  

They were upfront about the price at $875.00. I will leave it to the reader to determine if that is appropriate or not, but my condo association president didn't seem to think it was out of line.  And because they couldn't resolve the problem that night, they didn't charge me anything at all for that visit, even though they attempted an auger.  I thought that was a very generous move.

They sent me the estimate.  I tried to see if they could get someone out on Saturday, but they couldn't send anyone til Sunday morning.  I did say I was going to try and find same day service elsewhere, and they didn't bat an eyelash, even though they wouldn't have made a penny on the whole transaction.  Having no luck (except with one company I didn't feel comfortable with), I went back to Rescue Plumbing because I really appreciated what appeared to be their honesty and upfront communication (again, I can't speak to the pricing).

Dex and another person (whose name I didn't get) came back as promised on Sunday morning, completed the service, and everything seems great!

The ONLY reason this is a 4-star (really, 4 1/2 stars) rather than 5-star review is that, after all was said and done, they wanted to add $99.00 to the total for the Friday night service call, even though the total estimate was supposed to be inclusive.  I was able to push back on that only slightly, and they backed down on it.  But it was a little sketchy, which marred an otherwise completely satisfactory experience.  I will definitely use them again!  But I will get estimates for pre-planned work as comparison, as I know nothing about rates for plumbing services.  I think that's good practice, anyway.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

It's not easy finding a good plumber but super glad we had a good experience with Scotty. The gentlemen is knowledgeable, inquisitive, listens, and gets to work. He is able to anticipate the problem, explain it directly, and offer suggestions and tips for maintenance.

Great work ethic from Rocket Plumbing, I had a minor gas leak and Marlon came out the same day I called.  Efficient and quick, but from a work ethic standpoint, second to none. I highly recommend them and will be using them for any plumbing needs moving forward.

Our building is very old (over 125 yrs) and my aunt was having issues with a leaky faucet in her bathroom.  I found First Chicago Plumbing's reviews convincing to give them a call to help with this situation.  I spoke with Eugene and he asked for a photo to see the style faucet so he could make sure he had the proper parts when he came to see the job.  The next day he was there with the correct parts in hand and had the job done in no time.  He was very kind and courteous and the prices cannot be beat.  If you have any plumbing related problems these guys are a definite YES when it comes to reliability and professionalism.  I highly recommend them!

I should have reviewed this a long time ago - my disposal started leaking under my sink...I posted on yelp for quotes or people that would be interested in my neighborhood for this small job.  I got a few responses but Sound got back to me right away and was able to come the next day. He offered to bring a comparable disposal or if I opted to get my own he would install.  I let him do it all.  Not only did he come and do the work fast and efficient - he also fixed the pressure on my sink that has boggled my mind since I've lived here.  Great guy - highly recommended.

I had a backed up kitchen sink. I called and got an appointment for for 2 hours later. The dispatcher provided a clear price quote. Diego arrived on time, assessed the blockage, and completed his work quickly. We haven't had any trouble since. Fast response, simple pricing, and great work! I will call them again if I have any plumbing trouble.

We had standing water in our basement, called them up after seeing the other reviews and they were there in 20 minutes on a Sunday morning. We were told by both the person on the phone and the plumber that came out that it would be double time being a Sunday, which was very courteous of them. Problem was fixed in less than an hour and we were good to go. It was a bit pricey but I didn't compare with other companies so I can't say it was fair. Dan was great and we were very pleased with the entire interaction.

Although they did not do any work for me, they were very responsive and professional.  I will keep this company in mind for our future plumbing needs.

Contacted them on Yelp on Saturday and they were out to clean my sewer lines out on Monday, right on time.
Fair price and they cleaned up any mess they made. Well worth the phone call and they honored the estimate they gave through yelp

Darrell and Anel came by quickly and looked at a few electrical items. I was really impressed by their honesty and thoroughness. They did a great job and if I ever need more electrical or plumbing work, Sims and Sons will be the first company I'll call.

Excellent service. Plumber went to store to pick up new kitchen faucet and installed after diagnosing issue. Can't imagine better service.  Will call them again for any future plumbing needs.

Dmitry responded immediately to my phone call. He requested that I send photos of the problem so he could know in advance what they would be dealing with and be prepared. He explained the pricing clearly. He was accommodating about the appointment time. Lenny came on time, did nice work and was neat. I will be using them again.

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Our water heater stopped working about two weeks ago.  Since that time, we've tried several of the different large plumbing services who were providing large estimates without even looking at my issues.  For me, the very last straw was when I called one of the services I used at the very start of my issues.  The new technician explained to me that the technician that the firm sent out the first time didn't do the work correctly but he (from the same exact company) would fix me right up for an additional $4,000.

It was at this point that I knew I needed to try a very different approach.  I opened Yelp and placed a query for a plumber.  Juan from A&Y plumbing and Sewer Services responded to my query.  Let me just say that if you are a homeowner in need for quality work by someone who not only explains to you what needs to be done but also treats you with respect - this is the  company for you.  I have noticed in previous projects at my home that some of this large plumbing services assume that if you are calling them, you are so desperate to end your problem you will pay any ridiculous cost.  I've owned my home over twenty years.  I have at least a couple of instances where I knew I overpaid for subpar work and I was determined that I would be treated fairly in the effort.  With Juan I felt in my gut that he would be trust worthy because he started out with let me see if this can be fixed and if not, we can discuss other options.  This was In stark contrast to the other service where the gentleman immediately told me, this isn't something you repair, it is something you replace!.  He hadn't even come to my home yet.

In short, Juan was able to fix it.  He then walked me through the process he followed to trouble shoot the issue and correct the problem.  I have an advanced degree in information technology so root cause analysis is something I truly appreciate!  It doesn't mean i expected to walk away knowing how to troubleshoot this issue myself but for someone to just give me the respect of fully explaining what was happening and why we needed to fix/replace things.

For me, during a time when I felt like other services were treating me horribly - it was absolutely refreshing to be treated with kindness and respect. The cherry on the cake was that Juan's cost was reasonable and his work was awesome!  This was one of those times where I very gladly paid his fee and I am already referring him to my friends and family.   This is company is definitely a keeper for me!!

I contacted Noel and left a VM stating my needs. He contacted me later that day and asked I text him photos as I was having him replace a kitchen sink faucet. He texted back the 2 hour window he could come and his estimate. He texted when he was 20 minutes away, showed up on time, completed the job even after he ran into some curves, all for the price he quoted.
Noel is a great communicator and excellent plumber. I will use him from now on.
