In addition to the prompt and friendly service (two major pluses in my book), Pat at Drain-EEZ gave me tips about how I could save money by doing some easy home repairs myself on some of my plumbing issues. He showed me exactly what the problems were and how to avoid future plumbing issues. I also had to switch times at the last minute--no problem. The warm and friendly service I received with Pat was the same I received by the women who answered my call, whom I later found out to be his wife. If you need a local, knowledgeable and no-nonsense plumber, Pat is your guy.

Mac and Jim were amazing! I had to reach out on short notice for a broken water heater and they were out a day later and installed it and hauled away the old one in less 90 minutes. Very impressed and highly recommend to anyone!

Highly recommend Pete and Noah. Our condo association has worked with them for some time now and you can always count on friendly, dependable service. We had a small leak in the basement that wasn't continuing, but we thought it best to have them come out and ensure we weren't ignoring the warning sign of a bigger problem. Pete and Noah did a thorough drain check for all three floors and concluded there was no leak, but rather it was likely a one-time issue of a tub overflowing / showering with the curtain not tucked in or something. Appreciate their professionalism!

Scotty fixed my sink, which wasn't code-compliant, and helped me get rid of the sewer smell in my bathroom. He's a super friendly and knowledgeable guy, and he was very patient with my rambunctious puppy! Will definitely give him a call if something else goes wrong.

I had a tenant with a leaky wax toilet ring. I called Rocket Plumbing at 9:05am, and my new toilet (I could have just replaced the wax ring, but wanted a newer water-efficient model) was installed by 1:30pm. The Plumber, Nick, was on-time and super easy to work with over the phone. My tenant is happy, and thus, I am happy.

Had an outside drain that was clogged and would spill into the house because of it. They came out and were very upfront about what they would need to do and what the potential problem was. They solved my issue while also discovering another potential problem which they clearly showed with their camera equipment. Highly recommend!

Chris and Sam stuck with a tough job of gaining access to rod out my sewer line through the catch basin in a 100 year old Oak Park house.  They tried two or three solutions before nailing it and running 60' of line to the street. (The lip to the sewer pipe is broken; it's 8 feet down inside a 2 foot hole; the geometry makes it very tricky to get the cutting blade in the line...)  I think I've had other companies give up and fake it, but I watched the Windy City team do it right. Thanks!

We had a persistent sewer gas issue in our house for a long period over the winter. It was an awful experience that leaked raw sewer smells into the basement, which was subsequently vented into the whole house through the central air system. We were unable to escape outside due to covid and cold, and it led to a miserable wintertime. I would not wish that on anybody.

We had multiple other companies out to try and address the issue, and nobody seemed to offer much help.

We had Eugene and his team out many times to try and address the root cause, and found a whole host of issues, probably caused by the interior drain tile installation (Reliable Basement).

Eugene and team were professional, on-time, patient, and dogged about trying to find the root case. We ultimately found issues with cracked pipes along the drain tile system, a crack in the floor drain, as well as a collapsed pipe on the city side. All of which was difficult to diagnose due to our house being quite old.

I cannot speak highly enough about First Chicago Plumbing, and would never hesitate to get their assistance.

Kevin was the only person in this 10 Yelp list of plumbers in the area to pick up the phone and come out within 30minutes of helping to fix the leaking problem! The job was well done, neat, careful, this is an old building and he knew how to manage the job! He gave me an estimate of low to high and it came under! Quick in texting and was able to pay through quick pay with bank! 21st century plumbers! Highly recommend and already now our plumber!

Kevin was very quick to respond and gave a fair and competitive price for ejector pump replacement. Kevin was able to schedule the appointment for that morning. Nick performed the pump replacement and was very timely and professional. I would recommend Green Tech Pluming and will use them in the future for plumbing needs.

Excellent service all around!! They responded immediately to my request for a quote, gave me a reasonable range, and then stuck to it. I wanted to write this review the same day so I didn't forget - I cannot recommend Sims and Sons enough for plumbing work. A previous handyman screwed up a shower valve installation at the beginning of my bathroom renovation, so I needed that fixed, along with valves for the rest of the sinks and toilets since they weren't all working. The in-home estimate was straight-forward and scheduled quickly.

I live in a condo and had to pre-schedule a building water shut-off, and they were able to get someone to my unit at exactly the right time. The price was reasonable, especially given the quality of the work. Zeno walked me through what I needed to know about the valves and the shower install, and also offered suggestions for tools I would need to use for my renovation.

My only suggestion would be to provide payment information during the estimate & scheduling, as Yelp says they take credit cards but there is a 5% fee for using one. They do take Zelle or check payment.

I will definitely call Sims and Sons for any of my plumbing needs in the future. Thanks again!

Our bathroom sink became completely clogged on a Saturday morning. It's the only upstairs bathroom in our home and needless to say - a nightmare when unusable. I called Hristo at ABV and he was able to come out and clear the drain in a matter of hours. He also repaired a leaky drain in another washroom. Price was very reasonable with excellent customer service. Highly recommend ABV!!

We had a pipe leaking for days in a very tight space. Once we identified the leak, most plumbers stated they couldn't come out for days. CJ Plumbing was able to come out almost immediately and fix the problem despite the small space, I was worried they would have to cut into the drywall. I would highly recommend!

I just got a condo and bought it knowing the master bath did not have a working toilet, no water in the tank even with the valve turned on. I sent out the general yelp estimate search and Mike gave me a call back right away. I told him the issue and he was able to come out same day. He got my toilet working fast and helped me with my new shower head. The price was great and will definitely be calling him when i need things done in the future.

Responded promptly, identified and repaired  the issue with my tenant's water heater and the job was done within 3 hours of my first phone call. I called late in the afternoon and still got same-day service which was helpful because two plumbers cancelled on me and if someone didn't come that day, my tenant would have been without hot water for over 24hrs.

Noel came through for this first time homeowner! My water heater broke and began leaking at 10am on a Saturday and I texted Noel. He immediately responded even though he was in route to a job and continued to communicate with me all day to help. With a combination of my willpower to get a new unit myself that day, with his ability to squeeze me in on a Saturday afternoon, I had a new water heater up and running within 10 hours of it breaking.  Additionally, he showed me how to use features on the new unit and explained what is most important in an emergency scenario. He also was nice enough to remind me to register the product in case something went wrong. Noel went above and beyond what I would have expected and helped me remain sane in an emergency situation.  I will absolutely keep him on speed dial. There's a reason this conpany has 5 stars on yelp!
