Mac and his crew are amazing! Our tank broke the day before Thanksgiving Day and he came the next morning on the holiday. He actually insisted to come on the holiday so our family could have heat! Service like that is simply unheard of these days, especially from big box stores. Great communication, fast work, cleaned up, very fair price, and didn't even wake my children while they worked! Simply the best!

Rescue Plumbing to the rescue again! We have had Victor and his helpers out to our house twice this month to take care of a leak under our sink and a new faucet install. Both times, the guys were amazing. They explained the issues thoroughly, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, and gave us excellent advice about things we can do moving forward. I've dealt with plumbers who are good at their work, but bad at communicating, and others that communicate well but don't do the job very effectively.  Scott is the best of both worlds.  He sent me several texts over the course of 24 hours updating his status and ETA.  That's a real comfort when you need the plumber there right away.  Highly recommended.

My wife and I have been experiencing problems with our kitchen drain for the past 2 weeks.  The sink would fill up after a few minutes of running the faucet and then it would fill up the other sink.  This has been a HUGE inconvenience for us, especially with having a hungry baby that needs clean bottles daily.  I called a couple of local plumbers but nobody seemed that interested in helping us with our drain problem.  The guys at Rocket Plumbing were different.  They offered to come on the same day that I called but also had availability for the next day which was more convenient for us.  They sent Marlon to take care of our problem.  Marlon showed up on time, was very friendly, and diagnosed the problem very quickly.  He even gave us three different options so that we felt like we had some control over the cost and the extent of the job.  It took about $200 and 45 minutes, but it was well worth the time and money to get this sink finally fixed.  I would HIGHLY recommend Rocket Plumbing if you live in the Chicagoland area.  We'll definitely go back to them if we have any plumbing issues in the future.

Thomas is extremely unprofessional! I was calling this company out every 2 to 3 weeks for emergency plumbing services because the floor drain in my business was constantly overflowing with sewage. The plumbers that came out were always pretty helpful but whenever one of them would mention that the issue was in the mainline, I would call the office to follow up only to have Thomas contradict whatever the plumber said and argue with me that people were flushing paper towels down the toilets. The last straw in dealing with him came when Thomas promised that he would send me the video taken by the last plumber after he came back from the field but I didn't hear back from him. When I called a couple of days later to follow up, he blamed me for not calling him back sooner and stated that the video was no longer available and said that I should've asked for it the day of service...which I did! After paying them nearly $2000/mo in emergency service calls, you'd think the customer service would be much better but after having to argue with Thomas multiple times on the phone, I eventually hung up on him after stating I would take my business elsewhere. I do NOT recommend!

Jose is a pro. Extremely accommodating and professional - he doesnt waste any time  offering solutions that clearly wont work. We were desperate as we had a dishwasher that was leaking on our neighbors ceiling[+ without dishwasher!]
He helped solve this issue within the time he had quoted [after appearing on time downtown]
We then had another issue shortly afterwards and yet again Jose did his upmost to accommodate and went above and beyond to fix the issue [pipes not to code] and ran into other problems [stud walls] +over time wise but stayed to ensure he finished the job.
Windy City is reasonable price wise and v fair. His side kick Brian is extremely amusing and like Jose extremely efficient - I would have no hesitation in recommending Jose and Windy City Plumbing and using them [hopefully not!] in the future.

We've used First Chicago a couple times.  Back in May, our sump pump died during some heavy rain.  First Chicago was able to get out that day, and put in a new/solid sump pump at a good price.  They were very consultative, and walked me through what they were seeing with our new house.  They also tested out our backup and showed me that it had died.  We liked them so much that we had them come back recently to install a new backup sump pump system.  Again, they were great to work with this time as well (shout out to Martin for the great work, and taking the time to walk me through everything.) Will definitely use these guys for all our plumbing needs moving forward.

Excellent service, saved us a ton of money by helping us navigate getting a replacement part that was covered, excellent service all around. And genuinely nice people to work with!

Our garbage disposal wasn't working. I called Jesus on a Saturday morning. He came within a hour and fixed it right away. I'm very happy with his service and will definitely call him again.

Green Tech Plumbing responded very quickly to my outreach and scheduled my appointment promptly. They provided great service. I would definitely use them again!

They(Danny/Johnny) came within an hour of my request, did what was asked(and then some, patiently explaining to me what they're doing and why), and honored the quote over the phone.

By the way, the quote was the most reasonable quote I got after contacting 4 other plumber businesses.

By far the best experience I've had with plumbers, or just contractors in general.

My wife and I had a back up in our kitchen. Will and Adam came and helped right away solve the problem. Adam was quick to discover the issue, resolve the clog and also take time to explain what and why it happened. His professionalism and cleanliness made the situation so much better to handle. He left our place in good shape and they were awesome! Strongly recommend!!

Called Sims and Sons last week and was able to get an appointment immediately. Unfortunately our work schedule changed and we had to push our appointment but they were very accomidating and still got us another appointment quickly. Enis came out and got right to work exploring our issue with a bedroom light switch and fixture. He came up with two solutions and we discussed pricing, work involved, etc.. Everything was explained well from the issue, solution, and pricing. Enis was great to work with and I highly recommend him for your electrical issues.

Requested quotes through Yelp for a toilet install on Sunday night. ABV was the first to respond and had the best price. They showed up at 10 am the next morning and professionally installed the toilet and took away the old one. Couldn't be happier!

I recently purchased a condominium and had to redo some of the plumbing work in the bathroom and kitchen.   When I reached out to Dimitri, he responded immediately and asked very good questions and for some pictures so he could diagnose over the phone.   He was able to schedule me within a reasonable time and his plumbers arrived promptly as promised.

The plumber arrived and was very polite and respectful. They took care to watch their surroundings and asked about wearing a mask. Also, during the repair work the plumber took the time to explain the problems and was very transparent about what needed to get done to properly repair.  If there were additional findings, the plumber reviewed those with me and asked for my approval prior to purchasing another part or moving forward with additional work.

I have used CJ plumbing a few more times since then and the experience has been spectacular and consistent among the different plumbers.

I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!
