Lou did a fantastic job for us on very short notice.  He arrived on time, educated us about the problems, made the necessary fixes, showed us the results (including photos), and never pressured us to take on any more work than we needed.  We'll absolutely call him again!

With the water tank behind the washer and dryer, I was concerned over who would take on this job. Jim didn't bat an eyelash! He is super friendly, super competent, and his price was the best of the several quotes I was able to get.
Jim showed up exactly on time and got the job done so quickly. I had hot water again an hour after he was done. He and his partner removed and replaced the stacked washer and dryer with the utmost of care. I'm so happy with the work that was done today and SO RELIEVED that I don't have to worry about the 16+-year-old tank failing and flooding my apartment. My only regret is that I couldn't hire him to do some other work (he specializes in water tanks), but he gave me a referral (Mike) so even that was a win!

Rescue Plumbing was great. They responded quickly to me, were easy to schedule with, and fixed my problem immediately. Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. I had couple of issues at my place from shower not working to kitchen sink.  I was looking for a plumber who was reliable and did a good job after having some bad experiences in the past with the quality and reliability.  Scott was recommended by a friend.  He called me prior to his appointment to let me know that he is running 30 minutes late and he did get at my place on time.  He was able to get all the job done within few hours. Now I can enjoy my shower again!!

Made it worse, and I paid a lot more. I tried for the new, but really, the old from mom and dad was best- better price and always fixed. Rocket charged up continually, regardless of coupon. The toilet hasn't flushed well since they came to work on it, and they left a mess. Really not in the top tier of any fix-it person that we have had here.

Highly recommend. I had an issue with a drain that needed a creative solution. Thomas was the only plumber / contractor that understood my problem and found a way to fix it. He and his crew rerouted a drain from going inside my house to the storm drain. The project involved demo, new pipe, and new concrete. All the work was of high quality and Thomas communicated effectively throughout the process.

These guys are absolutely the best. My shower drain periodically gets clogged and every time they come out to fix it they are fast, professional, and effective. They even clean up the huge mess it makes afterwards! This is absolutely my go-to team for anything pipe/water related.

I've used First Chicago when it was I think just the owner, Eugene. Now it sounds like they have a small group of plumbers and a shop on Elston Ave. It's not surprising they are growing. Today, Jorge Serna was pleasant, fast, and gave me helpful advice about following through with their my own maintenance. Good communication, excellent service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Prompt arrival within the 1-hour window, removed shoes without asking, got straight to business and resolved the clogged tub right away!

Highly recommend Mike and his team! The sewer main in my building was backed up and we had to get the main pumped and hydrojetted. On top of doing good work, the customer service exceeded expectations. Mike was incredibly responsive in the initial discussions, quoting, and scheduling process and was able to get his team out quickly to get the project started. Everybody was knowledgeable, capable, and friendly. Would definitely hire them again for big and smaller plumbing needs!

I found the company on Yelp. My shower stopped working and I wanted free estimates to assess the issue and hopefully get it repaired. The company responded and had free estimates and dispatched a plumber out to me in 24 hours or less. The plumber was on time and called before coming. He arrived and assessed the situation and had some diagnostics or ways to attempt to remedy the situation. He was clear in the costs and what he was doing. However, my issue was more complicated than originally assessed. It was determined that to fully solve my problem my wall with tile would need to be cut to access the pipes but the company because it's a plumbing company would not be able to re-tile or put drywall back up which is not economical to me. Most plumbers probably don't do drywall or tiling so I understand. The plumber was knowledgeable and not above or scared to go into a crawlspace to look at the pipes. He wore shoe covers going in and out the house. He wore his mask about 95% of the time (I wore mine the whole visit and kept my family in their rooms to be safe). I ended up paying $515.00 for a new part in my shower knob and he did blow compressed air through the pipe. But I am still without a shower. I got a quote for $1,400 to fix the issue by cutting the wall and changing the pipes to copper without replacement of my tile or wall. I am going to more than likely get a bathroom contractor that can do it all (the pipes and tile) if I must spend that type of money. I would recommend this company for plumbing emergencies or if you are looking for a plumbing company that offers free estimates before you decide on a plumbing job.

These guys are great. I called in the middle of the night and they came out right away. They were at my house in less than 30 minutes of when I called. The serviceman came with a fully stocked van and was ready to tackle anything that could have been wrong. I am really glad I chose this company. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great service, quality and price! We had an emergency sewer back up and needed to replace 8ft of cracked clay pipe. Called CJ Plumbing late on Tuesday, the week of Thanksgiving,  and he had Tylers Underground come out the next morning and replace everything for a great price. He checked in throughout the day to make sure things were going well and I was happy. Then on top of all of that he had a plumber come out within 15 minutes to help us with a completely separate issue. Highly recommend CJ Plumbing.

Mike and his partner repaired the work done by two separate Angie's list plumbers (one sent to repair the errors of the first) who removed my outside faucet pipe through a wall behind a built-in television console, and then shoved it back through the bricks without any attachment, leaving leaking water inside my home.  The resulting water seepage into the cabinet was causing significant damage.  Mike responded to my urgent call, notified me he would have to cut inside the cabinet to fix the problem.  I agreed and he then made fine interior cuts that are not visible from outside the cabinet and are easily repairable inside.  In short order, he then replaced the pipe to perfection!  He also repaired the upstairs sink faucet the prior plumbers had left open pouring into the cabinet also!

I had a leak in my water heater and put a request on Yelp for a plumber. Juan was the first to respond and gave me a quote over the phone. 30 minutes later, he was at my house doing a hands-on inspection. He came back the next morning with a new water heater. He noticed that some of the pipes attached to the old heater were out of code, so he replaced them at the original price he quoted over the phone, even though the job took much longer than expected.
he noticed a small gas leak coming out of the area where the gas shutoff valve was and he replaced that as well. There was an extra charge, but I was happy to pay it.
I was very impressed with Juan's responsiveness, professionalism and price. I feel like I got more than what was expected for a lot less than I expected to pay. I highly recommend A & Y Plumbing

I called based on the Yelp reviews.  Noel returned my call promptly.  While my project scope is larger than Noel takes on, he sent me a text with the contact information for a firm that handles projects like mine.  Noel gets taking care of the customer, even if it does not generate revenue today!
