We had another plumber out on Sunday because our water heater stopped running properly (no hot water!) and they left scratching their heads and recommending a whole new water heater.

We called Mac and he came in and took care of the problem right away. My wife and I are super grateful for Mac's speedy service and reliability. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. After he knew what components were needed, he quickly ran to the local hardware store, came back with what he needed. Highly recommend. I had an issue with a drain that needed a creative solution. Thomas was the only plumber / contractor that understood my problem and found a way to fix it. He and his crew rerouted a drain from going inside my house to the storm drain. The project involved demo, new pipe, and new concrete. All the work was of high quality and Thomas communicated effectively throughout the process.

Had pipes burst at 1AM on Friday morning.  *PSA1* know where your main water shut off is!!  After 30 minutes of panic-stricken searching I was able to get the water to turn off.  Msg'ed Windy City Plumbing on Yelp and heard back shortly after 8AM.  Scheduled for an appointment the next day (SAT) between 12-1.  Received a phone call at 12:15 that they had arrived.  Took just over an hour to find TWO of these bursted pipes.  

*PSA 2* consider getting an outdoor heater for your garage.

$275 for first break and $175 for any additional breaks.  Workers (Chris and Isaiah) were friendly, prompt, professional, and great to work with.  I received a call within half an hour for payment by CC.  Receipt via email in seconds.  Entire process took less than two hours.  I highly recommend this company!

During the cold weather we had a pipe burst. While they were very busy due to the high volume of pipe bursts in the city, they were extremely late in making our appointment. We weren't given an estimate to fix the issue and instead were sent a $400 bill to stop the leak. What we late learned was that the plumber didn't even re attach the pipes so that we could use our washer and dryer. Net net, we had a late plumber, a $400 charge to stop a leak and not even fix it.

Not recommended until your issue is not urgent and you receive a firm quote beforehand.

Jesus is efficient, flexible, and professional. His prices are comparable/on the lower end to other quotes I got before he came out to rod my sewer line. I've since had him back to unclog a drain and recommended him to my sister who was also happy with his work.

Kevin and crew were GREAT.  This review is long overdue. They came and diagnosed our basement flooding last spring....after being quoted thousands of dollars for flood control by others, they took a look and suggested a thorough rodding and using less fancy toilet paper...it has worked!  We'll have them back for maintenance rodding and any other plumbing issues we have.  Thanks, Kevin!

Over the weekend, we experienced some grey water backing up in our utility room. We determined that the culprit was likely a backup originating from the kitchen sink/drain. We called Midwest Hydro Jetting yesterday (Sunday) and was able to quickly get an appointment for this morning. They even called us shortly afterward to let us know that we could move up the appointment time if we wanted to, which we appreciated.

Mike and Danny showed up promptly at 9am and they quickly got to work determining the source of the issue. They confirmed that line from the kitchen sink need to be rodded (as well as a pipe down in the utility room). Throughout the process, they were very communicative and explained every step. They answered every question we had and were done within 45 minutes.

Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would gladly hire them again if the need arises.

Googled for an emergency Plummer and these guys came up. I had a leaking kitchen faucet. Adam and Dave arrived in less than 2 hours. It needed a part, they had to go to two stores to find it. Once back they made  the repairs fast.

Okay, so being completely transparent, I didn't end up using them for my sink repair. But, I wanted to review just for the customer service. I called them this morning because I need to have the pipes fixed under my kitchen sink, as they're all corroded and have holes leaking everywhere. Dimitry asked me to send a picture of the issue so he could estimate it, which I did, and he called me back with a quote of $250-$275 to replace the 3 metal pipes with PVC. But, he openly said This isn't a hard job and you should just have a handyman do it, because any plumber will be way too expensive. Get a handyman who will cost $100 and you can use the savings to buy holiday gifts.

So, A+ customer service for honesty and knowing that the price he quoted me was way more than what is actually needed. If I ever need major plumbing (or heating) work done (which hopefully won't ever be the case, but life happens), I would definitely call CJ Plumbing & Heating first.

I had a rocky toilet that was supposedly fixed by Chicagoland Handyman in June of 2022, but five months later the rocking was back. I searched for a plumber to fix this unsteady toilet once and for all. I called Mike the Plumber. He was able to come out the next day and was able to to stabilize my toilet. Mike the Plumber was very nice as he explained what the problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. He said if the rocking comes back (which it won't) he will tend to it. I will definitely call Mike the Plumber for any future plumbing issues in my old building. Thank you Mike!

Juan is great, he is extremely responsive and quick, and was able to give me an accurate quote ahead of time. He did a very professional job and explained to me exactly what he was doing at every step. Highly recommended!

Noel was fairly priced and definitely goes above and beyond. I rarely write reviews but he deserves one. He did a great job installing a toilet and fixing our shower drain. Clearly extremely knowledgeable. He also just gave great advice via phone even prior to us hiring him to do the job. He came during the covid crisis and was masked, gloved, etc. we will be going to him for everything from now on!
