Great work. Very punctual. I needed the job ASAP. They offered to be at my house at 8:00 AM and they actually showed up at 8:00 am. With mask and covers for their boots. The job and cleaning was impeccable.

We moved to a row house in Lincoln Park. The row house was built in 1888 and had some significant electrical issues including and not least of which was not being up to code. Christian and Romero were on time, possessed great attitudes and were a pleasure to work with on top of being excellent electricians. They were professional, efficient, and it was evident that they take great pride in their craft - as they should! The both of them went above and beyond and we are so impressed. I would gladly work with Sims and Sons again, and I am grateful to have found a company and team that makes customer service such a priority. Truly outstanding, top notch work! T&D Electrical just completed a large job for us which included installation of five new fixtures, several new dimmers, additional outlets in the house, garage, and front yard, as well as repairs to two electrical panels.  We have only praise for Rodrigo, who got here right on time and did it all with exceptional care and accuracy.  Even though the work extended throughout the house and beyond, Rodrigo was so efficient and organized, there were no piles of debris strewn about, and old fixtures were put neatly in one place.  We had a very positive experience with T&D starting with Marcus's job review and estimate and then chats with Marianne about scheduling and finally, pretty soon thereafter, it was all made real by Rodrigo.  Thanks to all of you!

This man has no customer service nor does he listen. He is always in a hurry to finish no matter the look. If I could give a zero I would.

Joe installed new indoor and outdoor power sources in our home. The price was right, he was punctual, focused and completed the job swiftly. We would recommend his services for your electricity needs.

First of all, I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed I felt the need to write this one.  I needed a light switch replaced in my kitchen.  Chris responded quickly with a very fair estimate yesterday and was able to schedule an appointment for today.  Chris is professional, courteous, efficient and very reasonable with his charges.  I have already discussed having him replace some light fixtures in my house.  I highly recommend ALC Electric!

Edward and his crew had been exceptional.  They worked on our investment property to bring all electrical issues to code compliance.  I can't say enough about Edward, he is honest, goes the extra mile to make sure everything is completed with promptness.   He understood our deadlines and needs, he made it work no matter how challenged he was.   Greenline Electric is very reasonably priced and provided a very fair estimate.   Edward puts his customers first and did not fear the many challenges he was faced with.  Edward is knowledgeable about his work, keeps customers well informed,  professional and an absolute delight to work with.  I would highly recommend Edward and Greenline Electric for all your electrical needs.

Ryan hung a ceiling fan that I was unable to hang safely and had given up -- though I'd successfully hung the exact model in another room in the house.  He's a creative problem solver, and we carried on an interesting conversation as he worked.  Final cost was LESS than he estimated.

Loved my experience with Highlights Chicago. Stefan was incredibly professional, wore a mask and finished the job very quickly. The job was finished one day early and looks great! Would absolutely use Highlights Chicago again!

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project. These guys did a fantastic job moving two electrical outlets and converting my condo HVAC unit to two Nest thermostats. I was really impressed with the speed at which they responded to my call and the almost instantaneous quote. Even when the project took more time than expected they stuck with the quoted price. They were also very courteous and were able to come do the work within a week of my initial call. Overall I would highly recommend Blacklight and I'll call them back if I need more work done in the future.

The team at Kinetic Energy has helped us with many projects since we moved into our home in Oak Park.  Kinetic always provides competent, courteous and respectful electricians.  We feel comfortable having them work on our home.  But on Christmas Eve the owner Ted responded to our call that our living room lights were out and we needed some help as we were having guests Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Ted came out in less than half an hour and immediately identified and fixed the problem.  We couldn't thank him enough, he said that was his job and he was glad he could fix the problem.  Ted said no problem and wished us a happy holiday.  We would highly recommend Kinetic for all your electrical needs.  You won't be disappointed.

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

My go-to.  We just finished a major renovation of our house, but we had lots of little things that needs attention.  I tired Fixer for a simple paint job and leaky sink, and after their professionalism, communication, and work I was impressed.  They are also a Public Benefit Corp with apprenticeship and training for their employees.  Mission driven too?!  Love it.

The process of scheduling through their website is also smooth and another reason why they are my go to.  Instead of awkwardly trying to explain over the phone to someone, you get a text confirming the time slot and request for pictures.  Based on the pics, you get an estimate of hours.  Work gets done, auto-pay like Lyft, drop a tip if you'd like, and done.  

Final bonus - they are honest about what they CAN'T do.  We had a leak under our tub.  The guy inspected it, found the issue, said it's beyond their type of handyman work, and within 10min they texted me referrals to plumbing companies with the right hardware and expertise.
