AC/DC provided quick response and quality work. He was honest when unable to finish the job but returned soon thereafter and finished a good job.

It could not have been more difficult to schedule an appointment with Darrell. He tried rescheduling THREE times when I specifically told him when myself (and our tenant) would be available. He had no understanding that as a landlord, we can't just walk into their unit. We need to give them notice. It was incredibly stressful finding a time that worked for both of us and I ended up having to find another plumber to come out. Why make it so difficult for a customer to schedule an appointment? Because of this, I did not trust him or anyone on his team to come to our building.

We had a lighting fixture that was not coming on, after months of trying to fix it on my own, Austin from T&D Electrical finally made it work. He also helped us by fixing two breakers that were constantly tripping. Setting up the appointment was super easy and they showed up right on time. Price was very reasonable. Will use them again for sure every time I need electrical work in my home or business.

I was a little mystified and over my head rewiring some outlets in my condo rehab; one light circuit kept tripping a breaker. Based on these great Yelp reviews, I called Ted, and couldn't be more pleased with his service. He was at my door in Wheaton literally within an hour, and on short notice. Knowledgable and friendly, he showed me where I had miswired a plug, and offered some tips for future DIY wiring, all for a very reasonable rate. Highly recommended. Thanks, Ted.

Joe is fantastic!  Joe did all this at our 80 year old house:
- replaced old ceiling fan with new ceiling fan/light fixture
- removed old track lighting and replaced with pendant lights
- installed chandelier
- installed can light and overhead light in kitchen
- replaced/repaired switches

Joe knows what he is doing and offered suggestions to improve our lighting ideas.  He dealt with the quirky wiring in our old house.  He was very responsive and worked quickly and cleanly.  Joe's prices are fair and reasonable.

I highly recommend Joe and will call him again if we have future electrical needs.

He is the person to call for quick and easy fixes - he says he specializes in service calls (installing light fixtures, troubleshooting things around your house). I contacted Ryan after running into a problem installing a new light fixture.  I reached out late Saturday morning and he was here by that afternoon!

He was kind, and professional and even took the time to explain to us where the issue was with the existing wiring (even though I'm sure it was obvious it mostly went over our heads). In no time he was at work putting in the new fixture while chatting with my husband and myself and even getting in a few pats on the head for our very eager puppy who was so excited to have someone new in the house.

When all was said and done we had a safely wired, fully functional light fixture in our living room much more quickly than I had anticipated. His pricing was fair and as he left my husband and I breathed a sigh of relief that we had finally found an electrician nearby that we feel we can count on for any future needs.

Imagine our consternation one hot summer evening when the electricity abruptly went off in half of our home.  This included the central AC, a freezer, and the garage door.   Oddly enough, none of the circuit breakers had tripped.  Surmising that a disconnected wire was lurking somewhere, I went on Yelp and did a quick search for emergency 24/7 electricians, and that's how I found Highlights.

They answered my distress call promptly and dispatched a technician who arrived less than thirty minutes later.  That's what I call phenomenal service.  Mike knew what to look for.  Finding nothing amiss at the electrical panel, he checked the two ComEd feeds to our electric meter.  Bingo. One of the underground cables was dead, hence the partial electric service.

Mike apologetically explained that feeds outside of our home were under ComEd's jurisdiction and I would need to contact them for repairs (I did, and a ComEd crew restored our power later that evening).  The bill for Highlight's after-hours emergency service call was $185.  Ouch indeed.  But the quickness of their response was impressive and the electrician was highly skilled and friendly.  I definitely recommend this company.

Rogelio did a great job moving an outlet inside our kitchen island.

Jose and Rodney were absolutely great to work with. Not only did they do an amazing job, but it was all for a great price. They were tasked with replacing our track lighting with recessed lights, as well as, patching any holes and repainting our entire ceiling. We are beyond satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone who needed any sort of electrical or painting work done.

Jake and Lenox were a great team- they were efficient and were able to locate the source of our electrical problem. They replaced 2 GFI's and have literally brought light back into our lives! We'll definitely be using them again.

Neville was so communicative from the moment we reached out and kept us informed via text with pricing, timing, and updates! I really appreciated that we knew when Johnny was arriving and had all the information about costs and potential costs up front! Johnny did an excellent job - he worked efficiently, quickly and fixed all of our issues! It's a no brainer if we have electrical needs in the future - we'll be returning customers. Doug and Carlos just installed 4 inch can lights in the living room of my new house, and the room looks terrific - a vast improvement!  Doug and Carlos were on time, very professional, did a great job - just great guys.  They moved the furniture for me and cleaned up afterwards - couldn't even tell that they had been there, except for the beautiful new lights.

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

I messaged the business for a quote to replace kitchen faucet, and conversation was normal until I ask his next week's schedule. Suddenly the owner just replied: due to a previous fixer visit, we can't provide you services at time or in the future. I was very confused, as I never used them before. I am glad I didn't let someone in who isn't operating normal and I certainly don't need a handyman service like this anytime now or in the future.
