Stefan was very quick in responding, and was able to go out to my property very quickly. He was courteous and communicative, and most importantly fixed my bad outlets!  Thanks Stefan, I am glad to habe found a good reliable electrical contractor!!!

I worked with Darrell to schedule the appointment with Enis (technician) who was great and helped solve my electricity challenges. During the visit he worked clean, was quick to work, and explained what he was doing to teach me. We ran into one challenge (strange wiring) and Enis was able to work through it to provide a great creative alternative.

I found T&D Electrical through Angie's List. They honored a coupon through the site and did an excellent job upgrading my electrical service and replacing the old fuse boxes with breaker boxes. I plan to reach out again for other electrical jobs for my house (there are plenty of them...).

After 2 other electricians promised me quotes and never got back to me, Ted showed up, quoted a fair price and knocked the work out on the same day. He was thorough, patiently answered all of my questions and explained everything he had to do in detail. I'd highly recommend Honey Do.

This was the second visit from Joe. This time it was an additional light and switch I needed installed in a closet.  Joe came out less than 24 hours later, had everything required for the installation, and very quickly had the service run and the switch and light installed.  I highly recommend Joe for any electrical work in your home.

Christian was responsive and professional. He fixed the issue quickly and within 24 hours of requesting the quote on Yelp.

I live in a real old house in Oak Park, tried to replace the possibly just as old light fixture on the porch myself and ran into a lot of rust and stripped wires and stuff I was not expecting so I knew I needed professional help. Edward at Greenline had Esteban out here in just a couple of days (would've been even sooner if I was available) and the job took 15 minutes and it looks great!

Ryan is very kind and courteous, absolutely no question there!  He arrived promptly, when needed.  My only issue being his quote deviated from the email quote.  Ryan knew our issue prior to arrival so upon his arrival he discovered the issue right away.

Ryan is professional and also licensed.  He is the best in the business!  You will always get the best with him.  Advice: get a quote prior to arrival and stick to it.  He is a great electrician and worth the money!

Hands down one of the best companies I have worked with. I had an outage in my attic, which made several outlets and lights not work. I had 5 people come out to check the problem. None of them were able to figure it out. 2 just refused to look into the issue. I went on Yelp and found Highlights Chicago. They were amazing from the initial call. They sent 2 amazing guys, Raul and Delvin, within 24 hours. They were punctual, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They spent the whole day troubleshooting until they found and resolved the issue. I am beyond grateful to these guys and this company. I already have another project in mind for them. I have owned my home for over 15 years, as a single female I can't tell you how many times I've been screwed over. Ladies, if you are concerned with getting screwed over.. just call this company and you won't be disappointed.

Steer Clear. This is not a legitimate electrical company. Gave me an estimate and did the electrical work for an EV charger in our condo building. Even though building management didn't request City of Chicago license initially, they checked for it later (it can be asked for at any time) and this company is not licensed in the City of Chicago and its illegal to do residential work without it. The job was done completely wrong and he almost blew the sump pump and electrical to entire building by connecting to a panel inexplicably and was told not to. Installed wiring that was bent and broken and taped together which could have caused shocks and burning. New contractor easily installed it - no bends or breaks. The wall outlet installed was open and exposed, and if water dripped to it could electrocute people. Sloppy, cut corners, dangerous, illegal and not up to code. Absolute garbage, rushed work. Refused to get City of Chicago license and come fix job. We will be pursuing our money back. This is an illegitimate electrical company. Avoid at all costs.

Addendum to review:

Right, I'm not an electrician , but here are couple facts that a real electrician should have known and done, that found out about your job.

You were told by the building engineer to use the 480/277 volt panel because 208/120 was already at the capacity.

You just plainly ignored that and proceeded with your version. Maybe you don't know the difference between two.

You ran 208/ 120 wires through 480/277 panel which was a huge code violation and a human life safety issue.

And that's not all:

Then you spliced those wires inside that panel multiple times -- code violation.

You then decided to use lightning contractor conduit to run the wires and overfill that conduit -- code violation.

You installed the breaker at the wrong panel (which was at capacity) so you overloaded that panel.

The wire was badly scraped

You removed pipe straps and made the electrical conduit loose -- code violation.

J boxes that you installed were unsecured and loose with knock outs missing -- code violation

I'm still waiting on the city of Chicago electrical registration paperwork  from you.

A qualified electrician would know right away that he is working with 480/277 volts and would have informed me that i needed a step down transformer in order for the EV charger to work!

On top things you have charged me over $2K for 2 J boxes and a roll of #6 wire, which costs $600 at the most. The piping was already 97% there , so what took you so long.

It took a qualified electrician a total of 8 hours to remove the faulty work and install everything from scratch including installing the transformer.

We'll happily accept a refund to settle this matter

Jose and Rodney are great! We needed more electrical work than we thought, but Jose did not charge more than the original quoted price except for more equipment that was needed for some unforeseen problems that came up. Rodney did a great job painting and even did some minor covering of a small spot of ugly color on my walls. I will soon ask them to install some recessed lighting as they already explained the procedure. What a great team!

Needed a Tesla wall charger installed in our garage.  Jake showed up on time and offered a few different options with full explanation of each.

Once we agreed on scope and price he went to work.  You could tell he has installed a ton of these.   Job was completed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than when he started.  

Charger has been used daily for a few months now without issue.  Would recommend.

This is possibly my 5th time working with Neville and Johnny, and I couldn't have been more blessed by getting a professional, timely, and laid back crew of guys. I'm more so impressed with the upfront pricing, appointment confirmations, and their diligence to do a superb job. Their keen eye for the smallest details is refreshing, but then again, that isn't much of a surprise given their long time experience. Keep. It. Up.

I used Kinetic Energy after a lackluster experience with another company. Kinetic has been a joy to work with (though no one wants electrical issues!).  

Even when they are busy, they are quick to respond and they always arrive on time and are able to identify issues and fix anything that's needed. Even for scheduled light fixture installations, they've been quick and always keep me informed of what they've done and work efficiently.  They've also always cleaned up spotlessly which is always helpful.

Honest, transparent about costs, and delivered excellent work on time for installing an electric car charger. He looked up specs on the car company website, going the extra mile to ensure he did the best work.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

Edgar did an amazing job for me.  He came through the house, determined the scope of the project, then provided an on the spot estimate (which was very accurate after the fact, something of which I'm always appreciative.).
I couldn't be more pleased with Edgar's work; he knew precisely how to replace my switches with digital equivalents, banged out a couple of faulty outdoor outlets, and even replaced some hard to reach lightbulbs.  
I'm pretty picky when it comes to reviews, especially about home repairs.  If this is typical of Fixer, be sure I'll be calling them again for my next home repair.
