Stefan is very responsive. I just used him to replace some blown breakers due to an overheating dryer. I reached out via Yelp and he responding on a Sunday no less! He said he could arrive on Wednesday and provided a flat fee quote vs hourly that could have turned into who knows what. He checked in with me the morning of and ended up coming 2 hours ahead of schedule after calling me to see if I would be available. Great service, clear quote upfront, and I didn't have to worry about him showing up! Highly recommend.

Darrell and Enis were out within 15 minutes after I called (after hours) and were quick, efficient, and friendly.  Very responsive and a pleasure to work with. They took all precautions for COVID, booties and masks. I would recommend them to anyone for any electric or plumbing needs.

I contacted T & D Electrical to help my condo building address a building violation with our electrical driveway gate.  We required a licensed electrician in order to meet City of Chicago codes and Marcus was the only electrician of about 15 that I contacted who was available and willing to help me.  He was extremely professional from the start.  He scheduled the initial estimate within 2 days of my phone call, he arrived on-time to his appointment and called me to let me know he was on his way.  He was courteous and respectful and extremely knowledgeable about the work that we needed done.  His office staff (Christine & Siobhan) were equally friendly and quickly worked to get us the permit we needed and schedule the repair.  He warned me that it may take 4 weeks before the work could be completed, but it was done in 2 weeks!  The electricians that he sent were kind, quick, and thorough, completing the work in 2 hours, when 4-5 hours was estimated- they also arrived on-time!  The price seemed completely reasonable for the work done and came in at about $300 under the initial estimate.  Every single aspect of my experience with T & D was absolutely outstanding.  I not only wholeheartedly recommend T & D to fellow Chicagoans requiring high quality work, but I can speak for my condo building when I say that we will be using T & D for all of our future electrical needs!

Ted did such a great job installing two outdoor electrical outlets for us. He is professional, responsive, and worked quickly to get us a great result - all for an excellent price. We will definitely go back to Ted if we need electrical work.

Joe was responsive, on time, fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price. Can't ask for more than that. When he left I was confident the job had been done correctly.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. We came to Ryan with a maddening intermittent problem: electricity in parts of a house would turn itself off and then turn itself back on, some highly variable amount of time later.  Some times, hours later.  With this happening more than once a day, the house was basically unlivable.

Ryan was able to quickly track down the problem and, even though it was close to the end of a normal business day, he worked well past that to procure the replacement part and install it that same day.

It's been a week with no further incident, so I'm convinced he found the root cause, and I'm as happy as I can be.

I was in search of an electrician to work on my bungalow. The team put in new exterior outlets, split up two lights that were wired serially to the same switch, while replacing old cloth wire with updated wiring, and installed a dimmer switch for me.

I found these guys on Google just looking for local electricians in the area. Their reviews were good and their estimate was very competitive. Additionally, they were very responsive in coming out to look at the job, and were conservative about their options to tackle some of the trickier aspects of the job.

The end result is great so far. I will have to do some repair myself on the drywall removal for the new outlets, but they communicated this clearly going ahead of time.

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project. Jake came by to install our ventilation fan and a new bathroom vanity. He was super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Blacklite was great, I would highly recommend them. They were responsive, flexible and accommodating to my schedule. I had three different projects I needed complete and all were quickly and efficiently with no issues, they even gave me a remote for my fan! The guys that came were also very friendly! Big shout-out for Ivan and David from Kinetic Energy, who recently came out to install a new light fixture in the bedroom and a new outlet in the basement. I am always impressed with the high level of service from all of the electricians at Kinetic, but was especially amazed when I saw how carefully Ivan and David had protected the bedroom from any dust from the installation - they covered the bed and rug with lots of plastic sheeting and wore booties inside the house. Both were installed perfectly! Thanks again...

Tom and his crew do such great work! Highly recommend them. They installed 4 outdoor outlets in our yard and also trenched wires underground so they were no longer exposed to the elements. They were on time, flexible, and just care about doing the job right. Tom is a really nice guy who walks you through all the work ahead of time. Don't hesitate to reach out to him!

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Despite sending them a picture of the exact spot in my wall that I needed patched up, they arrived only to tell me that they actually couldn't patch the spot.  Complete waste of time - spare yourself the headache.
