A+ work on my condo! We had some wiring issues and our lights in our kitchen would never turn on fully. We reached out to AC/DC and they responded in a timely manner and were also very friendly. You can tell they are trying to save you money, while fixing the issues and aren't like companies that are just looking for a quick buck. They fixed our kitchen wiring and now I can see while I'm cooking again! They also looked at a few things in the bathroom while they were here and were looking forward to having them come back. I own a small business and we had an issue that needed to be dealt with right away. I looked around Yelp and saw the great reviews for Sims and Sons and decided to give them a call. Darrell was very helpful and let me know everything up front. I had a client at 9 and needed to have my problem fixed before then. Darrell had arranged his time so that I could still run my business by 9 AM - He told me he would be at my business at 8:30. He got here at 8:20. So right away I knew this guy was professional and that he wanted to make sure I was fully functional for my work. He worked efficiently, answered all my questions, and fixed every issue that I had. He literally finished at 8:58, just enough time before my client came in. He even looked at other problems that I had and fixed those as well. I was very satisfied with the service and he explained everything he did. Prices are very reasonable and he already let me know how much everything was going to cost before he came in, so I was prepared and was not bombarded with hidden or extraneous fees that other people try to cheat you with. They followed all the COVID guidelines, Darrell even wiped his feet outside before entering my building because he had walked through some dirt. Very considerate! I've had other people not care and just walk through my business and make my floors dirty. Because of this I can tell he truly cares about his customers. I will continue to hire these guys for any future problems. They deserve all of the praise that you see here!

I would definitely use T & D Electrical again. We are currently renovating our master bathroom. We had can lights installed as well as vanity lights and electrical outlets added and moved around to better suit our needs. Greg was easy to work with, on time, friendly and cleaned up so nicely! I had Ted out to my house in La Grange Park to troubleshoot a couple of outlets that had stopped working.  I am somewhat technical myself, and was able to diagnose the problem, but not locate it.  That's when I texted Ted.  Yes, you can text him directly.  I don't know about you, but I thought that was a great feature; very convenient! So anyway, Ted came out on Monday (I'd originally reached out to him on a Sunday, and while he doesn't do Sunday housecalls (totally understandable) he DID respond to me on Sunday right away, and we set up a time for the next day.  He arrived on time, and I had told him what I had done to investigate (I'd determined that it was a broken neutral somewhere in the conduit feeding these two kitchen outlets, but I couldn't find the break).  He was patient and helpful as I was explaining all of this, and agreed with my assessment.  Since I was curious, I watched him while he worked, and he explained what he was doing the whole time, because he knew I was interested.  While we were discussing this, we also talked about some other improvements that we could make to the electrical at my house (balancing circuits between the two hot feeds coming into my house, and stuck around while I played with different pieces of equipment (I have a lot of computers ;p ) to see how we could save on my power bills.  After we did that, I noticed that my power bills have decreased by about 10%!  He also was willing to stick around and install an motion-sensing light switch that I had been unable to get to work properly.  All of this extra stuff was not discussed ahead of time, but he was willing to take the extra time to help me out.  I have found my electrician for all my future needs.  Ted is great, you should call (or text!) him today!

This was the second visit from Joe. This time it was an additional light and switch I needed installed in a closet.  Joe came out less than 24 hours later, had everything required for the installation, and very quickly had the service run and the switch and light installed.  I highly recommend Joe for any electrical work in your home.

Chris was AMAZING! He was super reliable and took such great care in my forever home. He has come back twice and each time he has exceeded my expectations and I've already given his info to many friends who could use some electrical work. He hung 3  huge chandeliers with care and even made one work that didn't come with the parts needed from the manufacturer. He then hung an additional 6 other lights and even changed all my lightbulbs so they matched in color!

He also came back and hung two tvs for me the second visit which I can assure you will not be his last!

Over the weekend a pretty rough storm came through and worked a number on my front porch light causing a short to occur and loss of electric through the entire upstairs of my home. After ruling out a blown fuse, immediately, I was concerned about the safety of my home and what costs might be associated with this type of repair.  But unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I knew it might be difficult to have someone come out right away without it costing me an arm and a leg.  After doing a search, I was lucky enough to have found Greenline Electric, Edward answered the phone, put my concerns at ease and within an hour was at my home, with an assistant, and ready to evaluate and take care of the issue. He was very upfront about the cost of the visit and gave me all available options at a fair price.  He and his team were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.    Once he addressed the safety issue, he had indicated he was going to come back early the following week to finish weatherproofing the front porch light, now that the safety issue had been addressed.  And just as promised, he reached out to me a few days later and came back to finish the job.  If you are in need of an electrician who will take the time to find and solve your issues at a reasonable price (even in stressful, emergency situations), check out Greenline Electric!

Ryan is very kind and courteous, absolutely no question there!  He arrived promptly, when needed.  My only issue being his quote deviated from the email quote.  Ryan knew our issue prior to arrival so upon his arrival he discovered the issue right away.

Ryan is professional and also licensed.  He is the best in the business!  You will always get the best with him.  Advice: get a quote prior to arrival and stick to it.  He is a great electrician and worth the money!

I can't recommend this place and Mike enough. They were able to come same day I called and fixed the issue pretty much right away. He was professional, friendly and cracked a few jokes. Don't hesitate to call if you have any electrical issues.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

These guys did a fantastic job moving two electrical outlets and converting my condo HVAC unit to two Nest thermostats. I was really impressed with the speed at which they responded to my call and the almost instantaneous quote. Even when the project took more time than expected they stuck with the quoted price. They were also very courteous and were able to come do the work within a week of my initial call. Overall I would highly recommend Blacklight and I'll call them back if I need more work done in the future.

TOM Electric Services is an excellent company for electrical repairs. The electricians are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They provide great customer service and have always been able to answer questions, solve problems, and other issues with my electrical system. I highly recommend them!

This is a great handyman service - I had a leaking toilet that they came out to fix. 8 months later, the problem recurred, and I was dreading paying for someone come out again. I spoke with Fixer and they were happy to do a follow-up repair free of charge. Really quality customer service!
