Stefan did outstanding quality work installing an exterior 240V outlet for an EV charger, he explained everything very clearly, and cleaned up after he finished.  His fee for the work was extremely competitive and overall just an outstanding experience. I would highly recommend AC/DC and look forward to any future work with Stefan.

We had Sims and Sons do an assortment of plumbing and electrical projects around our house. Darrel was great and priced out every item so we could plan what we wanted to do now versus later. Once they were hired, Eli, Dino and Nate spent 2 days at our house. They were professional, thorough, took great pride in their work and are just nice people. They stayed until 7pm the second day to finish up instead of coming back for a 3rd day. We will definitely use them again!

This company is amazing! I never yelp but this company deserves it. My power was out for a total of three days and I couldn't find anyone to help me. Comed confirmed my electricity had not been shut off but wouldn't send anyone out because it was only my unit in the building that was out. My landlord wouldn't help me, she actually answered one of my calls and hung up on me. I should probably mention that I am being kicked out because she saw my dog a couple of weeks ago. (Everyone in this building has a dog) I didn't even know it was a problem. I spent two entire days contacting people trying to figure this out. I hired one electrician who looked at my meter and said Comed DID have my power shut off and still charged me for being here 2 minutes. I called Comed for the 20th time pleading with them to send someone out. Finally a guy came, he informed me it was not shut off that it was just an uncommon looking lock on the meter. He investigated further, removed the cover behind the breakers and discovered someone had intentionally cut my wires ( I believe 100% the landlord had this done to me as I have no problems with my neighbors and my storage unit was also broken into) After all of this I started calling electricians again. I called a ton of them, most didn't answer, some were to expensive, and all of the ones I talked to told me they could be here in a day or two. I needed someone today, it had already been 3 days. That's when really far down on the yelp list I found T&D. Someone answered immediately, a very nice lady named Haley. I told her I needed someone as soon as possible, she said she'd check to see if someone would be in my area today and call me back. She called back a little later saying someone could be here in 30 minutes and that they charged $120 for the first hour (very reasonable compared to other quotes I got) Then Fermin showed up he looked at the problem and had it fixed in 15 minutes and was very nice and professional. FINALLY I HAD POWER!!!!! I wish I would of called them much sooner but they are so far down on the list when you search electricians on yelp. They should be at the top. They are quick, cheap, professional and best of all someone actually answers the phone when you call. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician!

Showed up on time for the estimate and was very thorough with what was needed to complete the job right. Although he ultimately did not get the job  I could tell he knows what he's doing.

Joe was fantastic. He corrected on my miswired pantry lights, installed can lights in the kitchen, and rewired the ceiling fan as well. Moving the switches to a new wall he made look so easy. He did this all in one day! My mother came in and said, the lights look like they have always been there. My son came in and said, Where's the dust and mess? Joe also has a cover for his drill that he created himself to eliminate the dust offspray. AAAA++++ professional and a delight to talk with. Will use again and recommend undoubtedly. Go with joe!

Chris was AMAZING! He was super reliable and took such great care in my forever home. He has come back twice and each time he has exceeded my expectations and I've already given his info to many friends who could use some electrical work. He hung 3  huge chandeliers with care and even made one work that didn't come with the parts needed from the manufacturer. He then hung an additional 6 other lights and even changed all my lightbulbs so they matched in color!

He also came back and hung two tvs for me the second visit which I can assure you will not be his last!

Over the weekend a pretty rough storm came through and worked a number on my front porch light causing a short to occur and loss of electric through the entire upstairs of my home. After ruling out a blown fuse, immediately, I was concerned about the safety of my home and what costs might be associated with this type of repair.  But unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I knew it might be difficult to have someone come out right away without it costing me an arm and a leg.  After doing a search, I was lucky enough to have found Greenline Electric, Edward answered the phone, put my concerns at ease and within an hour was at my home, with an assistant, and ready to evaluate and take care of the issue. I called Ryan in the early evening and within 3 hours he was at my apartment and installed an outlet.   He is knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with.

I hired Highlights to install new LED lighting fixtures throughout my condo on the north side of Chicago. These lighting fixtures included 29 can ceiling fixtures, 13 track lights, 2 flush mount ceiling fixtures, 3 new closet lights, all new dimmer switches throughout the unit. Highlights purchased LED fixtures for my living and dining areas. These 3000K lights were so bright that they did not work well. After I pointed this out they went out and purchased some wonderful 2700K warm lights. They made this change without question or additional charge to me. The new lighting throughout my home is beautiful. I have control to adjust the lighting for the time of day or to create the appropriate atmosphere or mood I wish. The crew that worked on this project was led by Stephan and was always friendly, respectful, and professional. As the project progressed they were most helpful in working on small amendments and additions. I received 1st class service and I strongly recommend Highlights Electrical if you are considering electrical repairs or updates to your home.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

Overall great experience with Jose the owner.  I am an active duty Solider currently not in the Chicagoland area and Jose was able to assist with a dry wall repair in my ceiling.  He updated me through the process was ok with communication via text and phone.  This process was super easy especially considering I was not present on site.  I highly recommend them.

Jake came by to install our ventilation fan and a new bathroom vanity. He was super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Be aware that this is apparently NOT a licensed electrician. I had Neville all lined up to replace some light fixtures in my condo.  Although I had specifically mentioned up front that I would need a copy of the electrician's license so that my building management would allow him to work in my building, he never sent me one.  When I reminded him a couple of days before the job, he sent me his business license, which is not the same thing  When I pressed further, he said my building requirements were too tough.  So no license.  Had to cancel the job.  I also checked the city website for a list of licensed electricians and neither he nor his firm are listed.  See  cityofchicago.org/city/e…
