I had an issue last week where I had partial power in my apartment. Stefan was very responsive and was able to come the very next day. He arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. He walked me through options on what we could potentially do as a fix. In the end, he was able to fix the issue without it being a huge expense which was amazing and I was very thankful for. I am still going to consider a more long term fix that Stefan suggested, and would definitely use him for that work as well.

My partner had found good reviews for this service after we had drilled into a wall and disconnected a wire. We were in need of immediate assistance. Thankfully Sims and Sons had good availability and came the following Tuesday to fix our electrical problem.

The day of was really snowy so there were some delays but they were really communicative. Our electrician Enis was extremely courteous and professional. He evaluated the situation quickly and was even able to answer some of our questions about possible future work we wanted. He also was able to diagnose a problem with our circuit breaker on the spot and was able to fix it in the same visit which saved us the hassle of having to ask for another service call.

Enis was very thorough with his explanations of what he was doing and answered all the questions my partner had. Would recommend this business to anyone looking for a good electrician!

Shoot out to T&D Electrical for some great electrical work. The business I manage used them earlier today to replace/install a hanging light fixture. Called yesterday & they were out today. Quick & efficient work with nice attention to detail. David was our electrician. We will use them again, for sure!  Price was comparable (w/in $5) of what we paid our previous electrician. Shop & support local!

Honey Do Home Electrical does outstanding work. They are experts in all things electrical. I had no power in my overhead lights upstairs. They quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem. I highly recommend Honey Do Home Electrical.

We were really optimistic after reading the reviews for Ryan.

After we recently experienced a blackout in our master bathroom, and after my husband checked the fuse without success, I went to Yelp where I came across Ryan's profile. The good: he was responsive and was able to come same day!

Unfortunately, his visit did not at all live up to the reviews here or the expectations we'd aligned on via the phone prior to his arrival. When my husband called and spoke to him earlier in the day, Ryan was very elusive when asked about his hourly rate should repairs be required. We should've noted this as a red flag, but we figured we could at least get a diagnosis and then make an informed decision about how to proceed. When pressed, Ryan claimed his fee just to show up and diagnose the problem would be $175. That felt a little steep, but we agreed to that pricing after he explicitly confirmed that cost would go toward any repairs that might be required. After arriving at our home (and after looking around and telling us we had a really nice place/asking what we did for a living...) Ryan ultimately didn't honor that conversation.

It turns out the problem was a hidden GFCI outlet (that my husband actually located while they were searching together) had tripped, so after pressing the reset button, the problem was resolved. Ryan looked at two additional spots in our home to give us an opinion, without having to do any work whatsoever. No tools, repairs, labor required. He had arrived at 6:05 and by 6:45, he was about to head out when he began a with a casual, Let me just calculate the cost...the charge is $300. My husband asked how he has arrived at this price given he 1) inquired about his hourly rate both via text and on the phone and was informed that he would only incur that cost if repairs were needed and 2) given he was so clear the $175 covered the diagnosis. His response was that he was charging for two hours of time. My husband noted that he'd only been at our home only there 40 minutes and asked him to clarify, reminding him of their conversation. He kept vehemently replying that's the price. Sorry you're disappointed with no justification. Eventually after my husband stood firm, pushing back on him to explain, he started to gradually reduce his price until he was at $200. After a significant amount of back and forth, we finally paid him just to get him out of our home, but the whole experience left a very sour taste in our mouths.

Save yourself the headache. Unless you want to chance having to deal with shady business practices, we do NOT recommend working with Ryan.

Couldn't be happier with the work from Boz and the whole team at Highlights! Amazing!

- Came out same day for an estimate, with a VERY competitive bid (a couple 220 outlets in the garage, and a low voltage transformer for a Nest doorbell)
- Clearly laid out the costs, plan, turnaround time for the bid, got us on the calendar quickly
- Finished all the work in a day with two teams to tackle the two separate tasks at our place
- The team made sure everything was working well and that I was happy before they left.

DEFINITELY will be using them again for any further electrical work, and have already suggested them to a number of people.

I reached out for some quotes on replacing an outdoor outlet on Sunday- not only was Jose super responsive, he got me scheduled for the next day! He quoted me a price that he stuck to. He and his partner Rodney are friendly, courteous, conscientious and got the job done in under 30 minutes. They were respectful of my time which I appreciate. I'm happy to have this company in my phone for any future jobs. Highly recommend!!

Jake came by to install our ventilation fan and a new bathroom vanity. He was super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Neville was very responsive at setting up the appointment, and communicates primarily through text. Johnny and Josh came out to to run a wall track and did a fantastic job. You could tell they took a lot of pride in their work as their were very careful with the apartment and made sure they didn't damage anything.

Both of them are also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions on what else I could do around the apartment. The rate was good compared to other places and the job was completed very efficiently. I'll be using these guys if I need anything else and I'd highly recommend others do the same!

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

I have used Fixer for 3 separate jobs in the last few months and have been very happy with their work. On this visit Wylie repaired a kitchen faucet, performed cabinet carpentry repair, and showed me how to replace some recessed lights. Very happy with Fixer work!
