So happy with Stefan's work!!

I needed to have 2 lightings installed where none existed prior.
This required electrical wiring, and cutting of the walls etc.
Stefan responded promptly to my inquiry via Yelp, and asked to see the work to be done. He told me he needed to estimate the cost of materials required, and called me with the estimate the following day. I selected him because his price was below average, he provided prompt feedbacks, and was very respectful and organized.

I was not disappointed! He performed the work with such ease and cleaned up nicely. He even replaced the whitewall he removed... just waiting for a painter to do the final touches.

I was so happy that I referred him to my Mom as well.

Will use him again and again for my electrical works, and will refer him to anyone wanting a hassle free and near perfect finish!

Quick, efficient and friendly. Moved a ceiling light and gave helpful recommendations. Pricing was on par with all other quotes we received.

Half the side of our kitchen stopped working. No circuit breakers tripped. Assumed it would be $$$$. David showed up right on time and fixed it in under an hour (some melted wires) - and told us what needed to probably be done to fix some wiring that wasn't up to code - with an estimate. Perfection!

Ted and his son were great!  Ted was very responsive in getting me a quote and setting up an appointment time.  He confirmed with me the day of, and showed up on time.  He installed light fixtures and changed a switch for me.  Pointed something out that would have been a huge mistake on my part as to the type of lighting fixture that I had purchased.  Very friendly guys, I will not hesitate in contacting them again in the future for any electrical work.

Joe put in a 220 line for me which someone else said would be a problem. Joe figured it out and had the job completed in 2 hours. I definitely recommend him.

Chris is very responsive, honest and good at what he does. He is the person to call for quick and easy fixes - he says he specializes in service calls (installing light fixtures, troubleshooting things around your house). Definitely give him a call, he'll take care of your project quickly and professionally.

Ryan has helped us with several jobs recently. He continues to be highly responsive, punctual, and knowledgeable.

For the latest job, an open neutral, Ryan help me with diagnosing what needed be done and what to look for and helped me narrow down the possibilities.  I sincerely appreciated the approach of coaching me on how to resolve and saving me money as a result. Ryan's concern was performing activities that I could do myself and not being able to appropriately assess the cost (lots of troubleshooting). I appreciate the thoughtfulness. The team was very professional, accessible, and finished my condo's electrical issues expeditiously. Setting up an appointment was easy over the phone with Kemal, and payment was straightforward. More importantly, the job was done well. The price is about in-line with other electricians I called. As of today, it's $180 per field visit (an hour of work included) + any replacement materials; I'd advise to buy any potential materials ahead of time as materials are a fairly expensive add-on, likely due to a convenience premium. But the difference for me is that this team was able to provide flexibility in their scheduling where others couldn't. They are very easy to work with, and I'll be calling them again for future electrical issues.

Jose and Rodney were absolutely great to work with. Not only did they do an amazing job, but it was all for a great price. They were tasked with replacing our track lighting with recessed lights, as well as, patching any holes and repainting our entire ceiling. We are beyond satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone who needed any sort of electrical or painting work done.

Highly recommend Jake and his team for electrical projects large and small. Early on during COVID he installed a new outlet so we could relocate a desk and while there provided some options for adding light to our dimly lit basement. We finally contacted him for the basement work and he responded right away and was able to come within a few days. The basement looks fantastic and Jake went out of his way making multiple trips to stores looking for hard to find parts. Fair prices and high quality work!

Neville was great to work with, and is an extremely friendly guy.  As others have noted, all communication is via text.  Initial texts were a little sporadic, but I believe he was actually at a job.  (I can be a little impatient, and that's on me.)  However, it was never more than a few hours between texts.  And as his scheduled visit got closer, there were definitely more frequent texts.  He arrived during his timeslot and got everything done in under an hour.  

I wanted an old hardwired light turned into an outlet instead.  He had to cut through some drywall to make that happen, and was incredibly clean about that process, even to the point where he insisted that he use our vacuum to clean up after himself.  The job took less than an hour, cost exactly what he had estimated, and I would definitely consider him again for any future electrical work around our condo.

Can't say enough good things about Kinetic Energy!  Their communication and customer service are always on point.  We've used them for our electrical needs in our own home and as an interior designer we recommend them to our clients as well.  There quotes have always been affordable and fair.  Thanks so much Kinetic!

Alex responded to my posting quickly, was clear on costs, and came out at 8am the following day as promised. I gave wrong information on parts and he was ready with solutions to salvage the job and gave great advice. Would definitely hire again.

I have used Fixer twice for various jobs around my new home. I had two Fixers come each time, and each time I found the Fixers to be easygoing and pleasant to work with. However, I have found the work quality to be hit or miss (I had to have a job done by the first set of Fixers re-done by the second set of Fixers) and I struggle with the business model. Because they charge by the hour, there doesn't always seem to be a real incentive to work quickly. The second go-round, I was initially charged over $900 for, essentially, hanging towel bars, hanging pictures, and installing several plant hooks in the ceiling.

Second, most things are automated and you have to be careful about the billing process. The first time I used them I was sent a bill for a service that wasn't performed because the Fixers were running behind and ended up not being able to do the work that day. Still, I received a bill. The second time, I received a bill that was not adjusted for the picture frame one of my Fixers inadvertently broke after she hung it incorrectly. Both times, the issues were resolved after I emailed and texted with the company (phone calls don't even seem to be an option), but if I'd had a credit card on file, I assume I would have just been charged automatically, and I had to be proactive about addressing problems that weren't of my making.

I appreciate the convenience of the service and I'm willing to pay a bit more for a company that pays its people well--assuming that's what it does. But between the excessive expense and the various issues I've had with billing, workmanship, and timeliness, there won't be a third try for me. Good luck ya'll.
