Very responsive and was able to give me a quote and service my installation of my washer machine the same day! Team was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and wore masks as requested. Will definitely use them for future services!!!

We had an electrical emergency with smoke filling our basement and no obvious source - scary!! I called Sims and Sons and they got here amazingly fast. Masked as appropriate, professional, courteous, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it plus bonus points for educating us on what happened exactly and what we needed to do to prevent further issues. They will be my go-to company for electrical and plumbing going forward!!

We had an issue with our garbage disposal and were having a hard time both diagnosing the issue and getting an electrician to come out. I called T&D based off referrals and they were able to get me an appointment the next day.

Austin called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and then immediately got to work. They were fairly priced and I didn't feel like they tried to prolong the work to get extra money out of me. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to other!

He came over and assessed our work request and provided us a quote via text later that week.

We scheduled our work dates (3 day job) and Ted was there everyday at 9am just as he had committed. When he was in the house he was clean, quiet and respectful. Work was broken up between morning, left for lunch, then came back to finish up for the day. On the 3rd day the job was done and we squared up our invoice, discussed some future upgrades to the outside and the garage and he was off.

Overall Ted and his son were great and the quality of work was great. I look forward to Honey Do Home Electric coming back to working on the outside and the garage.

Joe is still the absolute best electrician around! If you have an older home (ours are over 100+) and have knob and wire he will know how to take care of  it.  He's installed numerous ceiling fans, ran an outlet to directly behind our mounted tv to hid the cords and most recently added an additional breaker.  His pricing can't be beat and he's fast, trustworthy and all around good guy.  

In the future I plan on hiring him again to instal an electric power supply for our smart car - something he's getting more and more jobs doing as of late.

Over the weekend a pretty rough storm came through and worked a number on my front porch light causing a short to occur and loss of electric through the entire upstairs of my home. After ruling out a blown fuse, immediately, I was concerned about the safety of my home and what costs might be associated with this type of repair.  But unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I knew it might be difficult to have someone come out right away without it costing me an arm and a leg.  After doing a search, I was lucky enough to have found Greenline Electric, Edward answered the phone, put my concerns at ease and within an hour was at my home, with an assistant, and ready to evaluate and take care of the issue. Ryan hung a ceiling fan that I was unable to hang safely and had given up -- though I'd successfully hung the exact model in another room in the house.  He's a creative problem solver, and we carried on an interesting conversation as he worked.  Final cost was LESS than he estimated.

After self-installing a new fluorescent light ballast, something went terribly wrong and everything on one of our breakers wouldn't turn on. I called Highlights Chicago and they had someone over incredibly fast-- within an hour of me calling them. The technician not only got everything on the breaker working again, but also got the ballast itself working and reinstalled, which I had assumed was a total loss. The cost was $200. I'm very happy with their service and will definitely use them again.

Rogelio did a great job moving an outlet inside our kitchen island.

We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. Jose was very quick to respond to me, provided a quote before he came so I knew what to expect, and was flexible when I wanted to add on tasks when they arrived. They fixed up our walls afterwards and worked very hard to keep things easy for us to paint. They were also very conscious to social distance when they came. I highly recommend their work, so glad that we got these items done finally!

Had an awesome experience with Jake. I got into some trouble trying to swap out a light fixture and created a bit of a wiring mess for myself that he was able to skillfully clean up. He was able to go pop out and buy a replacement light fixture that would fit my junction box and install that too. While he was at my house he added a plug to a closet that we had been wanting installed since we moved in. Super efficient work, very pleasant interactions, reasonable pricing- I will definitely be calling Jake up again for future work.

We found Blacklite Electric on yelp when we were in need of an emergency outdoor outlet repair/replacement. They were the very responsive and the repair was scheduled and completed quickly. They were upfront about pricing and the job was accurately quoted.

We had a laundry list of items that needed some electrical attention in our home. We had multiple light fixtures to install, light switches to create, electrical outlets to create, and some re-wiring that needed to be done in our old bungalow home. We were able to have someone out within a week. Carlos was fantastic. He worked all day to address everything on our list, and we are very pleased with the quality. There are a few things that we didn't have time to get to, and I plan to have Kinetic energy out again to address the final few items. I thought the cost was reasonable for the amount and quality of the work that was done. Highly recommended!

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

What a waste of time. We had a repair problem. I called this company. Sent them numerous instructions, pictures, details about the repair needed. This company assured me that it would not be a problem to do the job. I spent my day at home waiting for them to arrive and scheduled time out of work. First the technicians arrive late. Then they tell me that they can't do the job. A complete waste of time, can not recommend
