Had an old rusty bathroom exhaust fan that needed to be replaced so I tried to fix it myself. Once I realized how big of a job it was I got a few quotes. They were outrageous in the thousands of dollars! But when I called sims and sons their quote was more than HALF of the other guys. Darrell And Enis came over right away, supplied the fan (at NO up charge! Everyone else does), and installed it beautifully. Highly recommend these guys!!!

Upon purchasing our house we had a lot of electrical work that we desperately needed done in a very timely way. I called Highlights and within one day we had a consultation visit and a contract for the work, set at a very reasonable price. Two days later the work started and went smoothly throughout. We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. Jose was very quick to respond to me, provided a quote before he came so I knew what to expect, and was flexible when I wanted to add on tasks when they arrived. They fixed up our walls afterwards and worked very hard to keep things easy for us to paint. They were also very conscious to social distance when they came. I highly recommend their work, so glad that we got these items done finally!

Had an awesome experience with Jake. I got into some trouble trying to swap out a light fixture and created a bit of a wiring mess for myself that he was able to skillfully clean up. He was able to go pop out and buy a replacement light fixture that would fit my junction box and install that too. While he was at my house he added a plug to a closet that we had been wanting installed since we moved in. Super efficient work, very pleasant interactions, reasonable pricing- I will definitely be calling Jake up again for future work.

From the beginning, the scheduling with Blacklite was excellent, the arrival time was right on target, and then when Johnny arrived were were very pleased. Johnny worked in our home installing new outlets, repairing light socket issues and giving us recommendations for minor electrical issues we were having. All the work was done quickly and without any issues and he did answer some additional questions we had for future projects.

Blacklite was very professional and also took all of the COVID-19 precautions very seriously. We appreciate that very much and look forward to working with them again! Thank you for the awesome experience!

Honest, transparent about costs, and delivered excellent work on time for installing an electric car charger. He looked up specs on the car company website, going the extra mile to ensure he did the best work.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish!

Let's start with the booking process - so simple! Everything done online , could easily pick an appointment convenient for us, including going into late evening.

Next, the punctuality - showed up perfectly on schedule (in fact we weren't ready and D'Angelo our Fixer was kind enough to wait).

We had a lot of odd jobs around the house - the most time consuming of which was putting up wallpaper. D'Angelo was clearly experienced, gave a fair estimate of the time and did a phenomenal job.

Finally , settling up was so easy, he set a clock for the time spent doing active work and charge was exactly proportional to time used . Spoke to 3 different handymen and their rate was the most fair and hastle free.

I will request D'Angelo the Fixer anytime we need a hand around the house !
