I hired Stefan to install a 240v outlet in my garage, replace some faulty GFCI outlets and install a few smart switches. He was responsive, transparent and efficient. The 240v outlet required a breaker which wasn't readily available but he did the research and found it a distant home depot which added incremental hours to job. He continued to maintain a positive attitude throughout the process and finished the job during the same day.

Anel and the guys at Sims and Sons are GREAT! I had a wall of outlets out in my condo. They came out quickly (within the next day) and had the problem fixed. Darrell was responsive, provided an accurate and reasonable up front quote (I am one to contact multiple vendors for price comparisons and this was very reasonable with much less wait time than others), and sent an efficient, personable team, led by Anel, out to solve the issue. It was a complicated job and they were done within a few hours. When I discovered another outlet out after they left - Darrell had Anel out within the hour and the issue was fixed. Anel walked me through every step - clearly a knowledgable and skilled technician. I've added them to my condo building referral list and will defintely use them for any electrical issues (and plumbing too!) in the future.

This company went above and beyond. Not only did they upgrade the electric box and service as they were supposed to, but they also added 3 extra small outlets for my cable service and other things that now look awesome. Before they arrived the electrical closet down stairs was a mess, now it looks great! Thanks guys!

Joe installed LED cabinet lighting for my kitchen and fireplace cabinet. He did a great job, taking his time to ensure the job was done right and that the work area was kept clean. Definitely will contact Joe for electrical jobs in the future!

I reached out via Yelp on a Friday, and Chris came out on Saturday to take a look and provide an estimate (work across two units in our multi-family building). His prices were reasonable and we were able to get scheduled within a few days. He and his team did high quality work very efficiently. We'll definitely call him next time we need electrical help!

The power went out in half my house on Sunday morning. After resetting all the circuit breakers and calling Comed. I starting calling electricians. My call was promptly answered, and Mr. Ryan explained that he was out on a call, would be available in a couple hours, and he would call me back. He did call me back, but by that time, Comed had restored the power. While he did not actually come out and provide service, I was satisfied with the response and would not hesitate to call Ryan Electric in the future.

Highlights Chicago responded to my online inquiry for service within a few short hours, despite it being a Sunday. A technician was at our house and the dodgy outlet fixed within 24 hours of my initial request. Not only did they resolve the issue in a timely manner, they followed up with us later in the day to make sure we were happy with the work and had no follow up questions. Finally, the bill came in below the initial quote. This company clearly knows their work and has the professionalism and follow-through that customer dreams are made of. Highly recommend!

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project. Blacklite Electricians are awesome!!! We will not use anyone else. We used their services 2 times and both times, they were on time, professional, friendly and completed their work as they promised.

First experience was with Johnny. Very nice and friendly. He even educates while he does his work. Had a nice conversation throughout listening to some of his stories.

Second time, requested for Johnny but he was unable to make it, so Neville came over. Not only did he install Nest, fix switches, take care of some non-working outlets but also installed a garbage disposable including the plumbing aspects! WoW! that's not his expertise and he was clear about it but he figured out everything as to how it works quickly and helped install a new garbage disposal. It was messy but he did not mind! He educated us on how to fix certain things as well. It took an hour and half to complete the work but he charged us only for 1 hour. He also gave us the new customer discount a second time.

We will praise him for using text only as well. He was prompt in responding to our request both times. Set up schedule, sent us the amount we owed all through text and it works well!

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

Phenomenal experience from start to finish!

Let's start with the booking process - so simple! Everything done online , could easily pick an appointment convenient for us, including going into late evening.

Next, the punctuality - showed up perfectly on schedule (in fact we weren't ready and D'Angelo our Fixer was kind enough to wait).

We had a lot of odd jobs around the house - the most time consuming of which was putting up wallpaper. D'Angelo was clearly experienced, gave a fair estimate of the time and did a phenomenal job.

Finally , settling up was so easy, he set a clock for the time spent doing active work and charge was exactly proportional to time used . Spoke to 3 different handymen and their rate was the most fair and hastle free.

I will request D'Angelo the Fixer anytime we need a hand around the house !
