Jake came out on a Saturday Labor Day weekend to help with standing in my basement. He was so friendly and professional explained everything and it turned out to be just a jammed float in our ejector. He refused to even charge the full service fee and just took a small amount of money! Blown away! Highly recommend and will definitely be calling them when we need to do the next project! Martin went above and beyond for a minor repair, he not only answered my call and gave me a same-day appointment (without upcharging like some do), he also arrived, looked at my bathroom hose, realized it needed replacement and not fixing, and that the company that provided my bathroom sink/hose also provides a lifetime warranty. He even offered to place the service call for me. But then he realized it might take a week to get it replaced by the company, and given it is the only bathroom I have, he said he will see if there are alternatives. 10 min later he calls me and tells me he went out to BestBuy he found the needed part and asks if it's ok to come back and replace. Now tell me if you ever had a handyman who also cares, well now you do. Thanks Martin!

The bots and text messages are a coverup for a lack of communication and customer service.

We made an appointment with Fixer during a weekday, for which my wife stayed home from work. 15 minutes after the time they were scheduled to arrive, we received a text saying that they wouldn't be able to keep the appointment, asking us to reschedule and offering a $50 discount. My wife makes well over $50 a day!! This bad news was sent via text and after I responded and prompted a reply, we heard no more from them.

The $50 discount would've been easily absorbed by the Fixer's exorbitant fees. I'm leery of a home repair company that can't even honor their own appointment schedule. I understand that things happen, but at least take full responsibility and go above and beyond to remedy your mistake.

I just want to give another shout out to Konstantin and his team. We have had more plumbing issues than expected in our home since we bought it 1 1/2 years ago and he is now on speed dial for us. He always responds immediately and makes himself available as soon as possible. I truly cannot recommend his company enough. Incredibly professional and worth every penny.

Would strongly avoid these guys and the associated headache.

They failed to fix the problem, only half-heartedly tried. They were slow to return when the issue immediately reappeared (despite it being obvious they didn't fix in the first place--they assured it had worked). They also didn't perform all the services charged for (scoping). And no itemized receipt for the services, conveniently. Required deposit, conveniently.

Had to get another company to fix their mess after a hefty bill. The other company did it faster, better, and cheaper.

Now they're ghosting on money they promised to return as a partial refund (itself frustrating since  other company was paid do what they failed to do). Not answering calls.

To call unprofessional is charitable.

United Sewer & Drains is pretty awesome.  Can't say enough good things.  Did a great job, fast & didn't cost too much.  Definitely recommend.  These are good people.

We can always rely on Excel plumbing to get the job done right and at a reasonable cost.  They are very courteous about advising of timing of the technicians.  Technicians are knowledgeable and polite as well..Have used them over the years for complex jobs such as installing a new water pressure pump to toilet repairs.

Our double kitchen sink started backing up and it was clear there was a drain clog.  Before calling anyone, I took apart the traps under the sink to make sure they were clear, which they were.  I then tried snaking deeper into the pipes, with no luck.

Time to call the experts.

Your Helpful Plumber was just like the name suggests...very helpful.  Called them around noon on a Saturday and was quickly given a window of 3-4 pm for them to come out.  They arrived promptly at 3:30 and got to work on fixing the clog. Within 30 minutes, everything was fixed, and I couldn't be happier.  I would definitely call them again.

These guys are the best!  When they say they'll be there at 9am, they are there at 9am.  They work quickly, efficiently, and will let you know how to bring the cost down on any job.  I've been using them for about the last 12 years or more and never been disappointed.

First time we've used Kelley's but Tim and Kyle were tight on time, replaced our bathroom faucet with little fuss and left everything clean.  Will use for work going forward.

We called Body plumbing to repair one of our leaking backflow valves. He gave us good price on the repair and he even came twice to work on it after the first attempt did not come out right at no extra charge. His pricing however on testing was good but we found better so we will use another company for yearly testing. We will definitively call him again to get pricing in the future though.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.

After calling a handful of Chicago plumbers, I called John to inquire about fixing a toilet tank that won't fill.  He gave me a price range over the phone and was able to fit me in on short notice. He was friendly, explained the work and why and charged me a price within the range he had quoted me over the phone - which happened to be at least 15% less than his competitors.  He seems to understand the long term value of a customer much more so than many of his competitors who seem to have no issues in charging inflated prices despite the research available on the Internet.

The first contact was pleasant and professional. The lady on the phone listened to my story and propose different options that would fit my situation. She then set an appointment 5 days from the time I called.
That day, a crew of 2 arrived. They assessed what to do pretty quickly, opted for the cheapest solution, explained very clearly what I should expect and then proceeded to start the routing.
It was hard work. The guy holding the routing pipe is pretty big and strong and I could see how difficult it was, how straining the whole process is. But he kept a smile on his face and did the job efficiently and quickly. I knew he had been successful when my toilet drained properly.
Great service! I highly recommend.

Ed and his team were incredibly responsive, helpful along the way, and did a fantastic job with our sump and ejector pumps. Felt like a good value for quality work. Going to reach out for HVAC services as well!

Jay came out and cleared the supply line from my hot water pipe to the kitchen faucet.  I now have great pressure.  It took him about 10 minutes. Very professional.

Highly recommended. My condo building needed to get a repair before the weather got too cold, to prevent any pipe bursts. J Blanton Plumbing was able to come out quickly, provided me with a free estimate. Overall their pricing was very competitive with the rest of the market and I never felt like they were trying to nickel and dime me at all.

Tony was the plumber dispatched for the job. He arrived right on time and was great from the start. He explained all the work and steps to complete the job. He worked quickly to reduce the total time the water had to be shut off for the building, but he did very high quality work. Tony took time to cover the work area in plastic beforehand and when the job was finished he made sure to clean every thing up completely. He wiped down the area with cleaning spray, even shook out a rug that got a little dust on it.

Overall, very happy with the workmanship and the experience I had with all the employees at J Blanton.
