Thanks to Rescue Plumbing and Dex for coming so quickly and rodding our main sewer line. He saved our place from flooding. Not only did he help with the Sewer line but he gave great advice about toilets. He even cleaned up after he was finished.

Shortly after leaving my previous review Rocket contacted me to straighten out my issue.  They set something up during an off normal time (at night) that worked for me to come and take a look at my issue.  When the plumber showed up, he figured out what the issue was quickly and did a good job of explaining what was going on and why.  

I appreciate that Rocket didn't just see me as a lost customer but instead did what they could to make me happy and show they do care about their customers.

I went with Rocket Plumbing due to the reviews they received here on Yelp, but my experience was not what is described by others.  I needed them to come out and do a simple job for me, take a snake with a camera down my drain line to see if they could find a leak or the cause of the water damaging my floor in the room next to the bathroom.  

An appointment was set up for Wednesday morning.  Tuesday night I got a call saying they didn't have the equipment in their possession at the time and would need to reschedule for Thursday.  This seemed fine; they called ahead and were apologetic on the phone.  Thursday morning 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, I called and found out they never sent someone to my place that morning, they had sent them to a different call.  At this point I was getting a little annoyed but again, they were very apologetic and I was told they'd make it up to me, they'd come out this morning and give me a discount for my trouble so I agreed.  The next appointment came and again, nobody showed up to my place.  I ended up going into work late 2 days in a row for what turned out to be absolutely no reason.  Add in the fact the original date couldn't be made due to not having the equipment and you've got a company that does not live up to the inflated reviews shown here.

This was just the initial step, I will have to fix the issue that has ruined my floor and I will be going to someone else to do it and my other upcoming plumbing needs.

fast, fair, professional - best sewer/drainage experience ever!

I discovered this business through Yelp in an emergency situation. Our basement was flooding due to blockage of the sewer/drain pipe. I received a response to my inquiry early in the morning and had an appointment not long after. David and the team determined the probable issue quickly and were able  return to fix it by mid day.  He told me from the start what the cost range would be, depending on whether they needed to unclog from two places or one, so when they need to go to the second option, I already knew the cost and could agree quickly.

I highly recommend this business!

Great service.  Quick response time on the call back and setting up the appointment.  The guys were in and out within an hour and that included a trip to the store to get a part.  Left my house in a clean condition.  I'm sure it's hard to find someone you would trust to do your plumbing and I would call them again in a heart beat.

I had a great experience using First Chicago Plumbing.  Their prices are reasonable.  They texted me throughout the process, showing me pictures of the problem.  And payment was super easy (quick pay).  Will definitely use them again.

Having done a gut rehab I've dealt with tons of contractors and have become fluent in contractor speak: I'll be by at 11 means some time @ 3pm, I'll be there tomorrow means some time next week.  So what a nice change to find someone who actually does what they say!  They showed up on time, came back when they said they would and did a great job.  Highly recommended!

I am so happy I finally found a great plumber! Jesus is great. He is reliable and affordable and extremely fair. I had a leak in my place and was told by the building maintenance man that I needed new valves.  Jesus gave me a quote by when he got there and he diagnosed that the valves were fine and just needed tightening. He was honest and fair and only charged for the time it took. It's nice to know you can trust someone. Highly recommend!

Green Tech Plumbing called me back within 2 minutes of my voicemail message.

People's Gas was making our apartment building repair challenging, however, Kevin came out to see what was up and provided tips on what do tell People's so that they turn the gas back on.

Kevin never asked me for a service fee and just said call me after People's Gas turns gas on and I will get back over here quickly.

He did this to help us avoid the extra cost of having to pressure test the lines.

Look no further! -- These guys are great and I will use them for all of the properties that I manage.

Prompt response and very educational to boot!

When prepping our house to sell, I had no idea the amount of roots that can develop in sewer pipes. After calling to have our pipes inspected, Adam Avizius arrived to assess any issues and leveraged their camera to identify blockage under a 100-year-old tree in our parkway.  He then used their Hydroblast technology to blow out all roots and deliver a clean pathway for our sewers.  I would HIGHLY recommend Adam and his team. These guys were amazing. I contacted them after my whole house lost power. They were prompt, communicative, and kind. Nell and the owner came to my rescue. I feel really safe with them in my home and they did a great job not only fixing the issue but helping me understand what happened so I could better care for my home. I recently purchased a condominium and had to redo some of the plumbing work in the bathroom and kitchen.   When I reached out to Dimitri, he responded immediately and asked very good questions and for some pictures so he could diagnose over the phone.   He was able to schedule me within a reasonable time and his plumbers arrived promptly as promised.

The plumber arrived and was very polite and respectful. They took care to watch their surroundings and asked about wearing a mask. Also, during the repair work the plumber took the time to explain the problems and was very transparent about what needed to get done to properly repair.  If there were additional findings, the plumber reviewed those with me and asked for my approval prior to purchasing another part or moving forward with additional work.

I have used CJ plumbing a few more times since then and the experience has been spectacular and consistent among the different plumbers.

Highly recommend Mike! He was great at communication, texted updates & arrived when he said he was going to. Wore a mask the entire time. We had a laundry list of issues - leaking faucet, replacement of shut off valves, wax ring replacement on one of our toilets, etc. He had a cancellation & was able to come back & take care of all our issues the same day. He also fixed minor things we didn't think to ask about (& he didn't charge extra for these fixes) - fixed water pressure, secured a wiggly knob on our sink, etc. He did the work quickly & left our place tidy & clean. So happy we found Mike!

All the Yelp reviews were correct!  I just called Five Plumbing this morning with an issue with my bathroom drain.  He came by a few hours later and the problem was solved.  The price he estimated over the phone was the price that I paid.  I am impressed!!  Also, he accepts Quickpay!
