I called Drain-EEZ this morning not really expecting to be able to get someone on Labor Day weekend, but instead I got Pat within 2 hours of calling! I live in an old condo building and am constantly plugging up my bathtub drain with my hair.  He fixed the problem amazingly fast AND taught me how I could fix it by myself! I have lived there for 3 years and never has any plumber I've called done that! I'm sold :)

Easily the most reasonable and trust worthy plumber I called. Not only were his prices reasonable, but he was able to come out the next day to replace my water heater. I would recommend him any day of the week. As a matter of fact, I referred him to a friend who had the same positive experience.

We had the worst experience with this company. The actual plumber that came out was great! He arrived early, was quick and helpful. Once we started talking to the admin staff to get everything in order due to our HOA specifications, it was a nightmare. There was zero organization, information kept getting lost and on the 4th day of trying to get things done, I got an email asking who I was and when they came out and got yelled at by a man over the phone.

Would not recommend. Other than the actual plumber, this company was awful.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

Great service at a great price! We had an issue with our garbage disposal and a back up in the plumbing. Scotty fixed the issue quickly and we haven't had any issues since!

Rocket has saved me twice now. Once for an incorrectly installed dishwasher (not installed by Rocket!) and yesterday when my condo flooded due to a building plumbing issue that backed up into my unit. Yuck!  I called mid afternoon and they were able to send someone by 6pm.  Sam was able to come even sooner!  He was great - very thorough, left zero mess, and explained everything to me. I learned so much!  Sam even called the next morning to make sure everything was still ok. I'm so glad I trusted the yelp reviews and called Rocket!

Thomas and his team were quick to respond, transparent about their very reasonable pricing, and did a great job!

I highly recommend working with them. Don't even call other plumbing companies. Most will leave you frustrated with a lack of transparency and stick you with a bill that you weren't prepared for because they won't give an estimate!

I had a great experience working with Windy City plumbing. They were quick, responsive, and helped address the issue with my shower. I would use them again for any plumbing needs.

I had a simple job to put new shutoff valves on my hot water heater, but for some reason no other plumbers wanted to do the work (saying things like we don't work with water heaters anymore or just never calling me back). First Chicago Plumbing contacted me back immediately, gave me a reasonable quote, and came to finish the job the next day.

Very impressed with the high level of professionalism and the end product. Both Kevin and Moe were willing to work during the middle of the night to get the job done. Kevin also maintained an open line of communication with the flooring guy who also was sharing the work on the project. The cliché that its hard to find good help is notwithstanding with Sound Plumbing - my staff & I are delighted with the high quality and craftsmanship.

Jesus did a really great job figuring out a tricky situation with our main drain line. He responded to us super quickly, he came quickly and on time, and he was completely upfront on the price in to fix it.  We found him via yelp and no douubt we will have him come back for any future plumbing issue!

Excellent Work! I cannot tell you how many other plumbers we called to fix our ejector pump. Those other guys came in and kicked the tires and supposedly fixed it. As soon as they leave the ejector pump would stop working. I have spent over $1,000 in putting a band aid to the broken ejector pump. Finally today, I had enough and finally called Green Tech Plumbing. I spoke with Kevin and told him the history. He thought it would be an easy fix based on the symptoms but when he sent the plumber over he did a thorough analysis and tested everything. He was not afraid to get his hands dirty and go to the real issue. A towel! A freaking TOWEL! Anyway, I only wish I called these guys first instead of having wasted so much money with the other guys and time. If you do not call Green Tech for your plumbing needs, you are doing it wrong.

I have to give a detailed review because my experience was absolutely amazing. If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY!

ok, so here is the fine print:
I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it. Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded. Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain.

Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr. Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm. To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment. I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

Google lead me to MHJSS. I read reviews and called. I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company.

About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way. (Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose. They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues. He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner. They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home.

Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys. I hope nothing about their process changes because from now on I will be using MHJSS for all my plumbing needs and will continue to refer them to everyone I know, as a matter of fact, my neighbor will be using them soon for his multiunit apartment building (I gave him MHJSS phone number, LOL).

They sent someone out who tried to scam us. He attempted to charge us $1600+ for a sump pump replacement. We called and they sent someone else out who took care of it for less.
However, they still charged us most of the costs from the first repairman. We called and were promised a partial refund. Over a week later, we are still awaiting our promised partial refund and will update this review upon the receipt of that restitution.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. During the weekend our Air Conditioner went out and after having it replaced, the breakers blew overnight on Monday. It was a miracle it didn't cause a fire to our home.

Given that I have two young children at home, we needed a quick solution. The owner of Sims and Sons called me immediately, diagnosed the issue and was able to come the next day to completely replace the circuit board, breakers, wiring and AC connection. It turns out the inspector completely missed that the panel / breakers were non-compliant and this was a huge risk.

The electricians were professional, thoughtful and quick to act for our family. And they explained things every step of the way.

Completely recommend ABV Plumbing! Very reasonably priced, extremely prompt to reply and flexible scheduling. I had a toilet job at my condo that when ABV came out determined the water shutoff valve was rusted so I needed to reschedule service after working with the association to shut off the water. They were flexible with the changes and also made other recommendations they noticed were wrong with the toilet. Very thorough in every aspect. I'll definitely use ABV again!

Ride the no-stress express.  Called them on a weekend eve (no emergency) for an upcoming install.  Surprised to get a call back same evening from Demitri (owner).  

He came out the next day for a quick estimate on installing a gas line for new gas stove. Set up a date and time quickly, even came early on the install day.  

Professional, personable, explained the process, clean and efficient. Done.  Thumbs up.

Juan and his coworker stopped by today. Really nice guy and gave a lot of tips and insights on top of fixing our drain. And very reasonably priced. We'll definitely call back again.

Noel is fantastic! After not hearing from another plumber, I called Noel based purely on his yelp reviews. He answered immediately, set an appointment ASAP, and gave me his rates on the phone. On the day of the appointment, he called to confirm and showed up right when he said he would. Noel quickly and kindly diagnosed my leaky sink, talking me through his thought process the entire way. I learned a lot about my kitchen plumbing and Noel gave me great tips on home maintenance. The whole experience was lovely and professional. I will definitely call Noel again and recommend him to you!
