I had a stubborn toilet clog and couldn't dislodge the obstruction with a snake auger. I called and spoke to Pat who said it would be 225 if someone came out on a Sunday so, to avoid the charge, he walked me through what to do and I was able to unclog the toilet and save the 225. I'm very appreciative of Pat's great service and help and will definitely call if I need service in the future.

Short story: Very fast, less expensive, a pleasure to deal with.

Longer story: The hot water heater in our 8-unit condo building failed on Friday morning. Our usual service company came out to give us a quote and said that they could replace it the following Wednesday (after charging us $189 for a service call). Not wanting to wait 5 days for hot water, we contacted Fastplumbing247 to see if they could complete the replacement sooner.

Mac, the owners, was extremely fast to reply, gave us a quote over the phone that was much lower than our first quote and said that he could install the new heater the following morning. He actually came out Friday night to begin the process of draining the heater so he could start the removal and replacement right away on Saturday morning.

The new heater was installed and running by early Saturday afternoon. Mac and his crew were friendly, prompt and professional. They explained everything that they were doing and how the system works generally.

Removing the old heater turned out to be a problem. It was a 100 gallon commercial unit with a lot of sediment buildup. In short, it was extremely heavy. Mac and his crew couldn't remove it themselves so he arranged for a salvage crew to come the following day to collect it. After trying to remove it, the salvage crew apparently gave up and disappeared. Mac actually came back and spent half a day cutting this beast into pieces so that it could be moved out of our basement.

It's clear that Mac cares about and takes pride in his work. That dedication, along with the speed and lower cost, makes this a company that I would definitely and enthusiastically recommend to anyone.

I did not want to leave a review like this. After dealing with chains like Roto Rooter, we called Rescue because it advertises itself as a family run business. Javier is a very nice man, but he came and unclogged our ejector pump and recommended we replace it after 3 years, which we did. There was a small clog, the size of a softball. And he recommended we switch toilet paper. He guaranteed we would have no more problems in that department. Five days later, we had problems again. He came back and had to go back into the pump pit, and told me he had to charge me, again, for that. $400+ after spending $3k days before. He asked his son to go to the truck and get a garbage bag. He then showed me the clogged items, as he did the first time he came, but the second time it was somehow an arm-sized, thick rope. We had barely used the toilets downstairs in those days between visits because we were worried about frozen pipes during the freezing weather the week of the storm. It was very easy to negotiate him down from his original price when I mentioned those  concerns. He said the company has no service fee so I paid the minimum of $250, per his directive, which is what he said they charge for a clogged toilet. I do not want to make accusations, but the more we talk about it in our house, knowing our plumbing history and the precautions we took between visits, I felt like I had to leave a review.

They were respectful and did a great job fory Granny. I'll call you guys anytime.

Scotty is still the best plumber in town!! He replaced the entire guts of both toilets in my condo. This included replacing both wax seals, bowl gaskets, tank bolts, and fill valve kits (contractor series since high rise condos require at least 80 PSI). He had to make two trips to a plumbing store and Home Depot since older toilets need a different size bowl gasket. Thankfully, he was able to find it in stock. In addition, he replaced both chrome p-trap kits under both bathroom sinks. Another great job by Scotty!

Our kitchen faucet sprung a leak the week of  Thanksgiving, and after my husband spent five hours trying to fix it himself, we both decided to call in a plumber.  I looked on Yelp because of the trusted reviews.  Brian of Rocket Plumbing is hands down the best plumber we have worked with and would highly recommend his work.

We called on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30p and he committed to coming first thing on Monday morning.  He was exactly on time, came in to assess the issue, and gave me three options for a new faucet.  He was fair about the price and the installation costs.  He said he could get our model at his suppliers outlet, and he offered to run over there to pick up the faucet himself.  He called me from the supplier's and told me what models were available, discussed styles, and gave me the price.  He was gone less then an hour, and returned with a higher quality model then we had picked up at Lowes.  He installed it within about 30 minutes and the entire job was done in two hours, including the errand he ran to pick up the faucet.  

Brian was very professional and friendly.  He gave me options, discussed styles and quality of models, and gave me a fair price.  While it was an expense, I do not feel he overcharged me.  By the time he was done, I would've given him a tip!  That's how much I appreciated his trusted service.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! First of all, Thomas and his team are the third plumbers we had come out after buying a gut rehab back in 2019. We had flooded MANY times since then. It was a literal nightmare over and over. No one could ever find the issue and fix it once and for all! We would have saved ourselves a lot of pain, money, and heartache if we had found this team first. Finally, NO flooding. Thomas came out the same night I called him, because it was raining and he wanted to see if he could figure it out as it was starting to make puddles in our basement. We did not have an appointment until a few days later, but he called and cared so much about our issue and said I will be there in a half hour. No charge! He then got his crew out there within a few days starting on one of the two problems that NOT ONE other professional figured out. Then after both projects were done, he went over the top to help us once again, by agreeing to fill our concrete that had been dug out due to one of the projects. He felt the concrete companies were charging us too much and they fixed the sidewalk themselves. I promise that I am a very particular customer who had extreme basement flooding and we will never trust anyone else again! This company should be the first place you call if there are any issues at all or you just need an honest plumber.

I needed a plumber fast, and Windy City Plumbing came through. They showed up when they promised, did outstanding work, and communicated with me throughout. Super responsive, reasonably priced, no hassle. Thanks for the great service.

Outstanding service! They called to let me know when they would arrive, they were neat and professional, provide helpful recommendations for avoiding future service issues, they unclogged the drain thoroughly at the price quoted the previous day and then installed a new utility sink for me for a very reasonable price - this was outside of the original service request, but they went the extra mile to help me. I have no hesitation in recommending and/or calling them for service again.

I interviewed 5 plumbers before deciding to work with Kevin on our kitchen remodel and updates to two bathrooms. Kevin is fantastic. He's meticulous, taking care not only to get things done right but also to make his work look beautiful. That's no easy feat in a vintage building with old pipes, but he managed to do it. I have already recommended him to our neighbors.

Great company: responsive, expert, strong problem solving, excellent equipment. In this case, Jesus hydrojetted my sewer line and there were so many roots that it took him several hours. He also fixed a shower handle and advised on several other questions. After all that, he still only charged me his basic quote. Good people!

Kevin is prompt, competent, and HONEST. He saved me from buying a completely new toilet (the advice of Plumber #1) by simply replacing a new part! I can't say enough good things about this company!

I had a toilet that would not stop running. I thought I was able to self-diagnose, but I was completely off. Nevertheless, I contacted Mike from Midwest Hydro-Jetting and Sewer Service over the holiday season and he was able to send Danny over very quickly. Danny did an outstanding job of not only correcting the true issue at hand but course correcting what I had thought was the issue with my toilet. Danny was knowledgeable, helpful and very efficient in his work. Mike and Danny charged what they had quoted and I found their prices to be extremely competitive. I would absolutely go back to Danny (and Mike) for future work.

We recently purchased a home and within the first week of living here, the outlets and lights in one room/stairwell stopped working in the middle of vacuuming. Not really sure what had happened, I reached out to Sims and Sons and Darrel was able to squeeze us in the following day to get it fixed.

Enis came out the following morning and as great! And not to mention on time. He followed Covid precautions from the very beginning and was even considerate about asking if I preferred for him to take his shoes off once he entered our home. I couldn't believe how quick he was at replacing a couple outlets that we had concerns about and was thoughtful about not creating damage to the wall to replace an outlet box. Our original issue did take a while to troubleshoot, however Enis was very thorough about checking all the potential problems. It definitely solidified the need to hire an electrician rather than try to do it ourselves. In the end, the call did end up costing more than originally quoted as it wasn't the simple fix that we had all imagined. However, Darrel was upfront about the possibility and how the hourly rate would factor in if that was the case which is greatly appreciated. Also, Darrel even sent me a text later on that night to check in and make sure that our problem was fixed as well as check to see how are service was. I have since vacuumed twice in that area since (kids!) and have not had a single issue.

I will definitely reach out to Sims and Sons again in the future to discuss other electrical needs that came up in our home inspection!

Chris was prompt and patient to identify and address all of our plumbing issues. The first plumber we used did nothing to resolve the problem, but Chris took the time to make sure his solutions addressed all issues thoroughly. I would definitely recommend!

The best, most efficient plumber I have ever used. We had several longstanding issues we had fixed while disconnecting our plumbing for a foundation repair. We decided to kill many birds with one stone and we're extremely happy we did, the work these guys do is immaculate. The coordination and timing was very helpful with our particular situation as someone was coming home in the middle of all of this from a prescheduled chemotherapy treatment, great customer service all around. As a side note I would never trust someone that my dog didn't like and our dog wanted to leave with Dmitry....like we weren't even here.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.
