Pat came out and fixed my plumbing emergency on the same day. He had everything done by mid afternoon, which was great because it even required parts. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend them!

My in-laws were coming in town the Saturday before last and our hot water heater went out on Friday night, obviously. I called around and Mac was the only one who was immediately helpful. He came over about 2 hours after I called with a new water heater, which I needed because water was pouring from the bottom of the old one. He was in and out really quickly and my in-laws never knew that we had to get emergency service the night before. There is no one else I'd call in the future. Skilled, competent, affordable, and quick - what more can you ask for in a service provider?

It's not easy finding a good plumber but super glad we had a good experience with Scotty. The gentlemen is knowledgeable, inquisitive, listens, and gets to work. He is able to anticipate the problem, explain it directly, and offer suggestions and tips for maintenance.

Had Jose come out seemed very knowledgeable and kind but felt that we took a look around to fast to fully understand the hole situation came out on Friday didn't get estimates until end of day Monday which I could live with just felt like forever so I sent a message through yelp asking if I could speak to Jose again to go over the plumbing again so I can understand a little bit better they sent a message saying they will set a call up but then never followed up with me i called a few days later got transfered 4 times each time asking what I needed and for my  information again then finally they transferred me to Joses number and it was unavailable lol ahh OK

I hired First Chicago Plumbing to replace 4 tank hot water heaters in my 4-flat.  Their rate was much more reasonable than the others I contacted and the work appears to be well done.

My experience with Sound Plumbing was as follows - we own a 2-flat building with friends, and Kevin worked on the plumbing when the upstairs bathroom was renovated.  We liked the work we saw, so hired him to work on our bathroom - first floor unit. The work began with a large plumbing stack being re-situated and re-set into the basement floor. Then Kevin re-rerouted all 4 of the major points to the new bathroom - sink, tub, shower, and toilet. So the work was considerable.  

He is detail-oriented, and treats plumbing as a science.  

Most importantly, Kevin does not appear to take shortcuts, he would rather do the job correctly the first time than come back to work on it again.

Strong work, and everything happened within a relatively short timeframe. Kevin also worked well with the other workers on the site - Carpenter, Electrician, etc. This was crucial because they sometimes overlapped on the job, and some flexibility was required.  

I would highly recommend giving Kevin a call for any plumbing work you need done.

Timely and effective, the green tech plumbing team did a great job helping us with a few different plumbing issues that we were having.

The team from Midwest Hydro Jetting showed up to my house fast to help clear the line to my basement. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly, and literally saved my basement from flooding. After the line was clear the team took the time to clean up standing water in my basement. The pricing was fair and the extra time the team took to show me what was happening and how to prevent it in the future was outstanding. It took me years to find a company I can trust in my home and I'll never call another.

The toilet handle broke & the flusher needs to be replaced. Adam Avizius was great， showed up on-time & was very friendly. Explained to me what was needed & the cost of repairs. Had one part wasn't in stock, he was kind enough to ran to the store to get the part & installed everything. Loved the service. Price was very fair. Highly recommend Adam.

Darrell was able to fix my breaker which was causing issues with outlets not working in both bedrooms. More importantly, he saved my house from burning down by replacing an outdoor outlet that was full of water and charred. I now have a cover that prevents water from seeping in which means I can enjoy utilizing my outdoor lights without any concern for my safety! Thank you for coming out so quickly and promptly!

Lenny did a fantastic job disconnecting our old sink and faucet prior to the installation of new countertops (and saving us tons of trouble by anticipating a potential problem and fixing it) and then connecting a new sink and a new faucet afterwards, plus a new and larger garbage disposal. We went from two drains to one drain, and we thought the spawould be a bit tight, but Lenny rearranged everything beautifully. Top service, courteous, flexible and efficient. We also got extra help from Dimitry on the phone. Highly recommended.

We love Mike The Plumber and highly recommend him.  He just assisted us with two small plumbing problems at our new house in Rogers Park.  He was so pleasant to work with, fixed the issues quickly, fixed a few other issues in the process, recommended some changes, and was so reasonable in his price.   He also loves dogs, and took time to pet and play with our two pups in the back yard.  Mike is now our go to plumber, and I suspect our pups will be trying to clog our pipes so that Mike gets a call to come back.

A few weeks ago my sump pump gave us issues and A&Y plumbing was quick to respond. They came by the next day and were able to fix my problem within a few hours. They also provided me options with different types of solutions based on my budget. This made me feel great about the solution and provided me peace of mind that I was getting a good deal.
