I can't say enough great things about my experience! I was contacted the same day I called and had an appointment the same week. Lou was very thorough, knowledgable and was able to quickly detect and fix problem. I would recommend using Drain EEZ!

Fastplumbing247 has been excellent with customer service and speed. This is the 4th water heater I have had changed out by this team and will not be calling any other service in the future.

I have had cold water turn to hot water within hours in the winter because of how responsive this team is.

My garbage disposal broke. I figured it could likely he repaired but since garbage disposals are cheap, I figured I would just have it replaced. I called a little before 8am and someone was sent to me by 10:30. I asked for a quote before scheduling a plumber to come out and was told they did not offer phone quotes. Understandable.

The only, and biggest, issue was once the plumber arrived he quoted me $895 to replace a garbage disposal.

I have never in my life heard of a garbage disposal replacement costing that much. I immediately said no. He offered to try to clean it out, I asked how much that would be and was told $395. Again, absolutely not.

I really struggled writing this because while everyone was extremely nice, they were extremely timely, their pricing feels extremely predatory and outlandish. Almost offensive.

I ordered a replacement from home depot for $125 post-tax and paid a plumber from Task Rabbit less than $100.

Look past their charm and avoid overpaying for simple services.

UPDATE: Turned out that I didn't even need a replacement. Lol. My handyman was able to unclog my cheap garbage disposal in 15 minutes.

But your business choices to provide free quotes has nothing to do with me. I simply do not care if you paid for parking or paid your staff hourly to come do an estimate. $900 is absurd. And $400 to unclog is as well.

Now you are commenting ridiculous things under my review. My downtown condo did not need any new pipes, I never even talked to the man about to cost of the garbage disposal, even with quality disposal, $900 was absurd, no one bent over backwards.

Removing one star because there seems to be confusion around what I can AFFORD and what is reasonable.

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn't skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

Highly recommended.

This morning I could smell sewer gas in my bathroom and knew it was time to have the wax seal replaced. I called Rocket and they had appointments open the same morning. Jeff and Joel came out, did the job, and just left now after cleaning the area around the toilet. They and dispatcher Eric were friendly, cordial, and very customer oriented. There was a $49 discount on their website, so I mentioned that and the discount was reflected on the invoice. I didn't call around for price comparisons, but as far as I'm concerned you can't put a price on customer service, so it was a win for all of us.

These guy were respectful and new their stuff! I found my new plumbers!  Very helpful!

If you need a plumber and you're reading reviews on Yelp to find a good one, stop reading this and just call these guys. They're the best. Simply put, they do what they say they will do. You can't beat that.

Over the past year or so, Jose and his team have replaced a sump pump, an ejector pump, and rodded a dishwasher line and a bath tub for us. Every time, his team has worked efficiently (less than two hours usually) and courteously.

In five years on Yelp, I've written three other reviews ever. I'm happy to add a fourth for Windy City Plumbing. Those 5 stars are well-earned.

I had a simple job to put new shutoff valves on my hot water heater, but for some reason no other plumbers wanted to do the work (saying things like we don't work with water heaters anymore or just never calling me back). First Chicago Plumbing contacted me back immediately, gave me a reasonable quote, and came to finish the job the next day.

The best plumbers I've worked with. Responsive, professional, efficient and thorough. Have hired them for 10 or so projects over the years, and service is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Friday afternoon leading to a holiday weekend, and the kitchen faucet starts leaking. Adam from Captain Rooter was out in 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem, offered flexible cost-conscious fixes, drove to pick up parts, and finished in maybe 45 minutes.

Needed a breaker to be changed urgently. They asked for a pic on the phone beforehand and came out within the hour to make the repair. Quick and efficient. Definitely good to have on your list of repairmen!

5 stars! I had a toilet giving the phantom flush and it was loud and annoying! I found ABV and decided to give them a call, based on stellar google reviews. Amazingly, Chris was able to come over in less than an hour. He needed a new part, and was back in a flash. From calling to finish, it was less than 2 hours!

I really appreciate the attentive service and ability to address my problem right away. Not only am I keeping his card for all future plumbing needs but will be recommending his fine service to everyone.

Ride the no-stress express.  Called them on a weekend eve (no emergency) for an upcoming install.  Surprised to get a call back same evening from Demitri (owner).  

He came out the next day for a quick estimate on installing a gas line for new gas stove. Set up a date and time quickly, even came early on the install day.  

Professional, personable, explained the process, clean and efficient. Done.  Thumbs up.

Mike fixed our ancient tub faucet. He has lots of parts that fix old and new plumbing fixtures. Mike turned off the hot water, so he could determine that the hot water faucet was the faucet that needed repair. Mike has good detective skills. We will hire him again.

Juan replaced my 75-gallon water heater. It was a more complex job than initially thought, as it required numerous adjustments to existing gas and water pipes to accommodate the new unit (of a different brand), but Juan was patient and thorough to make sure the job was done right (despite the extra time commitment required). This was the third large plumbing job that I've hired Juan to tackle. I always find him to be extremely responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and more affordable than others. He takes tremendous pride in his work and never looks for the easy shortcut, which is why I continue to make him my first/only call when a plumbing issue arises. You won't regret doing the same.

This review is a bit overdue. Our kitchen sink stopped draining the day before Thanksgiving. Noel came out the same day I called, fixed the issue quickly. It was that fast and painless. I believe I was changed a fair price. And since then have had no sink issue at all. If I run into issues, I'll use him again.
