Great experience with Pat and his team. Identified the problem, gave me a fair quote that didn't change, and resolved the problem quickly. Would definitely use them again.

Found our water heater was leaking on Thursday night.  I called Fastplumbing Friday morning and spoke with Mac.  He and his team were replacing my water heater by the early afternoon!  The plumber who we usually use doesn't replace water heaters, but he was kind enough to give me a ball park of a fair estimate.  Mac's price was reasonable and in line with what I expected to pay.  Other plumbers couldn't replace it until Monday or later, and their quotes were higher.  Definitely call Fastplumbing for prompt service at a fair price!

My apartment is in an old building. I had a blocked toilet and there was other work needed to replace a valve and whatnot. Ben seems to do a good job so I was surprised a couple weeks later the toilet was not working yet again.
Long story short, debris went into the diaphragm when the water was turned on again. Not Bens fault but he did replace the diaphragm at no cost.
Ben showed real professionalism and good will.

Seriously awesome. I just bought a place and this is my first time calling a plumber. I called them up and they were at my door within 45 minutes. Z and Ryan were friendly and professional. I've definitely found my go-to plumbing provider.

Thomas was very communicative, he came out to the property to provide a free quote, and he promptly sent the quote pdfs. I was disappointed after talking with another plumber at how Thomas seemed to be trying to up-charge us for repairs and procedures that were not necessary to fix our problem. I don't think I will reach out again to Thomas, despite his good communication, as trust was broken by the amount he was proposing charging.

For potential clients reading this review: A year passing since this quote was sent makes my review all the more relevant. We ended up having the check valve and sump pump replaced for $1300 total. Chicago Sewer & Drain quoted us $1100 for camera/hydrojetting the main sewer line, $1600 for an ejector pump replacement, $1200 for a sump pump replacement, and the check valve replacement would be included with other repairs. We had significant savings with the approach we took (over $2000), and everything works perfectly fine over a year later. This is why I characterized the quotes as upsell.

We have used Windy City a plumbing before for a drain issue, and have hired them to do another job for us. They are by far the most responsive plumber I have found on Yelp and so their very best to answer questions before a job promptly and professionally. In addition, their quotes are always reasonable.

Sound Plumbing is the best!  Anytime we have an issue (and we bough a house with some issues...) they come out quickly and solve it efficiently.  They have also enhanced our home with a few projects to add water and gas to outdoor spaces.  They leave the house very clean, accurately and fairly quote the work and are always friendly and helpful.

They were very accommodating and allowed me to choose the water heater of my choice with the help of their expert advice. I feel they did a great job efficiently and thoroughly.

Needing to redo an old bathroom with bad plumbing, I called Green Tech for some ideas and estimates.  On his recommendation, I decided to have a steam shower system installed.  Great idea!  I had no idea how theraputic such a system would be after a hard days work, or just for relaxation.  Green Tech handled demolition and complete installation of my new shower in a few days, cleaning up completely after each days work.  They are exceptionally professional, detail oriented, and did the job for much less than I expected.

Although they did not do any work for me, they were very responsive and professional.  I will keep this company in mind for our future plumbing needs.

We had a distressing evening full of gas leaks and a late night shut off by People's Gas. Captain Rooter was the first emergency 24/7 plumbing provider to return our call.  Adam was an exceptional resource and help on a difficult project. He and his colleague David assessed, provided a price upfront, pressure tested before and after the work, and labored diligently for three hours to complete the job. People's Gas came and verified a job well done and our gas was reconnected less than 24 hours after the turn off. We really appreciated Adam's resourcefulness and creativity and would absolutely recommend him for future work.

I knocked out half the power on my second floor with my blow dryer and the breaker wasn't the issue. Darrell came out the next day and solved the problem! He was very responsive and followed all recommended COVID protocols. Highly recommend.

Excellent plumbing company. We will use them again for all our plumbing needs. They diagnosed the problem quickly and cleared a clogged sewer line. Very professional and honest.

I had a great experience and result. They aren't cheap at 250 for first hour and 185 for additional hours, but the work was excellent and for a licensed plumber you probably won't get cheaper. They were very responsive, scheduled me right away, and followed up to ensure I was satisfied.

I did the Yelp thing where they send out requests for quotes to a few vendors and Mike replied right away, and once I had a chance to call him he was able to get to my place about an hour later and fix my kitchen water pressure and connect the water line to my refrigerator. Mike was cool and personable and obviously good at what he does, and the price was fair and in line with a couple other guesstimates I had looked at. A good experience overall and I will call him first next time I need a plumber.

Awesome service, called him answered right away, I had called others no answer. Explained the problem said he would be here later in the day called me back moved his schedule around to accommodate us sooner very much appreciated.  Unclogged the outside connection and showed us everything he did step by step, first time home owners so appreciate the time he took with us. Noel was recommended to me by a friend whose loved his work, and I'm glad she did. Noel's had to come over a few times in a pinch. He's quick and thorough. Works great with modern tools like mobile phone pics of what's wrong so he's prepared when he gets there. Accepts Venmo. Great guy. Great plumber.
