I'm surprised to see all of the 5 star reviews. Called these guys to replace our kitchen faucet. They didn't shut the water off and we had water pouring through the ceiling in the basement. Instead of offering to fix the issue, they just said it will be fine, don't worry about it.  I would look elsewhere for a professional plumber.

I finally remembered my trusty Yelp app. I love Yelp and the honest and straight forward reviews. The glowing reviews for Fastplumbing led me to Mac and Jim. They do not disappoint. Jim responded rapidly and his professional and friendly demeanor set me at ease. He requested photos, shot back an estimate and was prepared to make an on-site visit after completing another job. We scheduled an an appointment between 8:00am and 9:0am the next day. Mac, with his personable and easy manner, arrived at 8:15. Fast forward, within less than 24 hours after contacting Fastplumbing  I have a new boiler.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. There is a reason this guy doesn't have a review of less than 5 stars. He's good.  And dependable. Scott came out on a Monday after I messaged him late on Saturday. He saved us $3-4k.  We found our new go to plumber.

Anthony and Angel did a fantastic job installing a new hot water heater for us. We had a really great experience with these guys from the very start. They came out to check out the space that they had to work with to determine what size water heater we could get based on the new models' dimensions and then we scheduled a time for them to actually do the replacement. The day of the service, they were extremely courteous - they called to let us know how far away they were, they put covers on their shoes as soon as they entered our condo so that they didn't track in any dirt, and they even cleaned behind the old hot water heater once it was removed. This job required a fair amount of piping rework (because it was such a tight spot), and Anthony and Angel did a wonderful job with it. They got the job done in the expected amount of time they originally estimated. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I definitely recommend these guys!

What a relief to find a reliable and professional plumber with reasonable prices. With so many options in the city, it's hard to know what you're going to get with some of these companies, but we are so glad we chose Windy City.

We needed to have a new sink and garbage disposal installed in our condo (we purchased the sink and disposal from Home Depot and just had them install it), but it needed new plumbing because we were going from a divided two bowl sink to a one bowl. Jose was punctual, professional, and friendly - there were several challenges in the installation, including a problem with the sizing of our granite countertops which was discovered when he took the old sink out, but he was able to cut the granite to the correct size and get the sink installed, and they still only charged us the original estimate amount despite the extra work. Sink looks great and we couldn't be happier.

Mayra was super responsive to email during the estimate and scheduling process, and we will definitely be choosing Windy City for any additional plumbing work we need done in the future!

Eugene and Jorge did a great job replacing my tankless water heater.  They really took their time and did a top notch job.  They really know the Navien products well and their response time and communication were the best of the plumbers I had bid on the project.  Highly recommended.

I just had the best experience working with Kevin from Sound Plumbing. Due to a leak and some minimal water damage, I needed both my bathroom toilet and sink replaced. Kevin was prompt in returning my call, coming in for an estimate and getting the work done in a jiffy. His work is top notch. Last but not least - Kevin's prices are beyond reasonable. I can't wait to have a friend who needs a plumber so I can send him their way!

Very professional, prompt and clean work. I chose this company after contacting several places for estimates to replace a water heater. They were very accommodating and allowed me to choose the water heater of my choice with the help of their expert advice. I feel they did a great job efficiently and thoroughly.

Overnight our pipes got frozen, leaving us with no water within the household. That night was in the negatives. Talk about a cold, bitter start of the year! It was a state of an emergency but I managed to find and call this company early this morning and Kevin managed to send someone, giving us an estimate on price and arrival. Not even an hour, the pipes were flowing again all thanks to Dave! He was really friendly and told us the problem thoroughly. I totally recommend this place for any of your plumbing needs!

My wife's bathroom sink was clogged and not draining properly. I called Midwest Hydro to setup and appointment and they responded immediately. Danny and Jose showed up, took apart the bottom parts of the sink and showed me what the culprit of the clog was. They removed and cleaned all parts and fixed the sink in a matter of minutes. They cleaned their work area thoroughly and were out in less than an hour. Danny and Jose were both professional and personable in their job, and I would highly recommend this company and this tandem of Danny & Jose without hesitation. Great job and great people.

Great experience. I got a follow up call from Captain Rooter at 9am and had a technician at my home by 11am. They assessed my hot water heater, it hadn't been producing hot water for a week, it's over 20 years old so I figured it was time to replace it. Andrew? the technician stated it was a simple element piece that had gon bad, ran to the local hardware store, and replaced it within an hour. Saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to buy a new hot water heater.

The service was wonderful however I was over charged for services that were not needed. I knew what the issue was, and they still chose to look at my tub last which was the cause of the power surge. I was charged for the opening and closing of 7 outlets that had nothing to do with the issue when the smoke came out of the tub. At the end of the day, my tub is disconnected, my circuit breakers  (that had unknown water damage) was replaced, and 7!!!receptacles and trim plates were taken off and put back on.

*I did update this review from a 3 to a 5 because they did reach out to me and adjust the over charge. They truly are a great company.

ABV plumbing did a great job. I needed a plumber they quoted a good price and Ivo came at the time that they said they would. He was very efficient and did a great job and was done in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again.

I highly recommend CJ Plumbing. They are extremely responsive, thorough and attentive.  I recently had a sump pump replaced by them and I could not have asked for better workmanship, care and follow up. I will be using CJ Plumbing for ALL plumbing needs, moving forward.

Believe the 5 star reviews, Mike is awesome! It's so nice to have a plumber in my contacts who I not only know will do great work, but is also fair and 100% trustworthy. Mike is also super responsive, dependable, and takes great pride in his work. And to top it all off, we actually had a really fun day together when he came by! Great guy + great work = no brainer on reaching out to him for your plumbing needs.

Juan replaced my 75-gallon water heater. It was a more complex job than initially thought, as it required numerous adjustments to existing gas and water pipes to accommodate the new unit (of a different brand), but Juan was patient and thorough to make sure the job was done right (despite the extra time commitment required). This was the third large plumbing job that I've hired Juan to tackle. I always find him to be extremely responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and more affordable than others. He takes tremendous pride in his work and never looks for the easy shortcut, which is why I continue to make him my first/only call when a plumbing issue arises. You won't regret doing the same.

Noel is hands down the best plumber I have ever used....it isn't even questionable. Super professional and highly skilled. We have used him twice already; once for a leaking toilet and most recently for a new garbage disposal. A terrific person as well....really enjoy him and wish we had more contractors like him!
