To say that I am delighted with the results is a major understatement. Zoom Drain is equipped with top of the line equipment coupled with professional Service Personnel that know how to use it.

We called on a Sunday night, the owner returned our call within a few minutes and tried to talk us through the repair on our own.  When our rookie work didn't hold, they came out and got us all fixed up the same day.  The estimate was accurate, the work was fast, and they were great to work with.  Very satisfied, would use again.

Called Paul again for an ejector pump that failed us.  Paul came right away and diagnosed the problem.  He did a fantastic job with a newer more efficient and quieter pump.  We also asked him to replace our dying water heater.  It was rusting and leaking as well.  As always, Paul was prompt, used industrial strength materials, was courteous as usual, and did a bang up job with setting up new pipe connections!  Great guy and a family guy!  He's local and and always explains very thoroughly how each part works and why something fails!  Five starts through and through!

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

The work was done quickly and professionally, and with short notice. There was an issue that I brought up with the price, and this was completely resolved by costumer service.  I appreciate that they care enough to reach out to customers and fully resolve issues.

Our basement toilet and shower wouldn't stop overflowing with water, we called Peter at 8ish and he was there by 11 and got a huge clog out of our main sewer line. He was super friendly and explained everything to us and helped us get in contact with someone to restore our basement. We are going to have him help soon to fix a few more things around our house. I would highly recommend!

I called to schedule a service.  When I told him what was involved, he never called back.  I was not important enough to service.

Responsive, reasonable, and thorough. Arrived on time. Had all needed parts in his truck.

I got a notice from my village about excessive water usage so asked D&P Services to check 4 toilets in my home.  I requested a quote in the morning, they responded in less than 30 minutes with a quote of $29 for the service call and said parts would be an additional cost.  They gave me a time frame that they come that same day and arrived a little bit early, which was great!  They checked all of my toilets, clearly explained what needed to be fixed, got the parts, and fixed everything within an hour and half start to finish for a very reasonable cost.  I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Do not hire MD Plumbing to install a pedestal sink.  Marc and his employees have proven themselves to be complete incompetents at this task.  His employee, Greg first attempted the installation without using a leveling tool.  This resulted in a sink basin that was obviously not level.  Greg and the other employee, Chris try to convince me that this was due to the imperfections of the sink surface.  On the second installation, Marc attempted to ensure the sink was level, but he did not remove the pedestal (that Greg caulked to the floor) and therefore failed to center the pedestal under the sink basin.  I've emailed Marc asking for a refund of this incompetent installation and he has been non-responsive.  MD Plumbing cuts corners and is deceptive.  Avoid them if you want work done well and with integrity.

Excelent service!  I had a leaking faucet and they came and fixed it in under 5 minutes and didn't even charge me.

We had a small job and no other plumber wanted to touch it. One other plumber gave us a ridiculous price of $800. The Sewer Guy charged us $100, $50 for the part. Greg came out and did an excellent job! I will definitely use them again.

They were great! I had a gas leak and needed a plumber to fix right away to turn my gas back on. They even gave me an estimate and fixed my pipes in 1 morning. The work was great quality as well.

Needed someone to install a new kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. Mikey was very professional and knowledgeable. You can tell he pays attention to detail and wants the customer to be happy with his work! Extremely satisfied how it turned out.  Highly recommend.

DODGED A MAJOR HEADACHE - - -AVOID!!!  
Furnace was acting up (not turning on consistently).  Tech (Adam) came over and indicated numerous issues.  With the issues indicated by the tech plus the furnace being 20 years old we decided it was probably time for a new furnace. The tech provided a few quotes (which were pricey - -almost 2x than other quotes subsequently received).  Then, he uninstalled our thermostat to see how many wires were currently in place.  However, he never reinstalled our thermostat leaving us without heat.
We scheduled an installation for later the same day in the afternoon.  The installers were an hour and 15 min. late (after scheduled window time).  Then, the installer told me that I needed to sign some documentation. However, the documentation indicated I was agreeing to scope of work and placement neither of which we had gone over.  We began going over the work to be performed - - I asked about the additional wires that were to be run from the furnace to the thermostat and the installer indicated that wouldn't be necessary (even though this was in the signed contract).
Next, we went outside to discuss where the holes for the PVC pipes were to be run. The installer indicated he didn't want to run the PVC pipes out of the side of the house by the AC unit as he was concerned about the village's ordinances. He wanted to run them out the back of the house into the back of a lilac bush and under a kitchen window.  (The PVC pipes are for inlet of air into furnace and outlet for furnace gasses.)  I indicated that placement would be unacceptable as intake of sticks and leaves and outgas of fumes right under a window were not going to work.  (Found out after-the-fact that running PVC pipes under a window is not up to code. Word of advice...make sure township/village approves a permit before doing work with this company to protect yourself!!!!)
Finally, the installer began bringing materials inside and indicated they were estimated to finish at 1:30 - 2am (It was 5:30pm).  No one at any point mentioned that the installation duration was 8-10 hours.  I sent the installers away (no work performed...still no heat since thermostat was never reconnected) and contacted 4 Seasons to communicate all of the issues.  The account exec (Tom) indicated he would communicate the issues internally (no explanation was provided for the issues) and he would put a hold on installation going forward until he heard back from us.  Well he's going to be holding forever because I would never use or refer this trainwreck to anyone.
We ended up using a reputable company that actually where employees actually know what they're doing and pricing isn't a complete gouge.
You've been warned.

I am so upset with Ed the Plumber. They charged a ridiculous amount of money to show up for a simple job. When I tried to discuss this with them, I got the same sorry, there is nothing I can do speech, and if I refused the service, they were going to charge a $125 fee for showing up. The woman who answers the phone hung up on me when were discussing her unscrupulous pricing tactics. We had used Ed the Plumber in the past, but I will NEVER use them again, and I encourage anyone else NOT to use them as well.

Where to even begin.....

We hired Tim Shey, the owner, to do some plumbing work. Initially he came off as being a normal tradesmen... His bedside manor was a little abrasive but not so bad that I didn't think to not use him.

Well, I wish I would have cut ties the moment I picked up on that abrasiveness b/c my experience with him turned out to be an absolute nightmare. My experience with him was absolutely abusive and for no reason. For a long time i asked myself what I did to deserve him being so rude and disrespectful and then I finally realized that I did nothing at all to deserve the treatment bestowed upon us.

On top of the abuse, here I am, months later and i've had issue after issue with the plumbing. Very basic things were missed. Most recently, we had to hire a plumber to come out to fix one of the toilets he installed. Lord knows how long it's been leaking but I happed to notice one day that water was leaking out the back every time the toilet was flushed. It turns out that he didn't install it correctly as the top wasn't tighten to the base. The damage this has caused ....... I wonder if he did it purposely? I really do.... We also have had issues with every faucet he installed. Every single one had to be reinstalled. Additionally, one of the shower heads was leaking . That was another plumber visit. I keep going on and on with the issues but I'm sure you get the point.

This was not my personal experience but I spoke to another person who hired him who needed an additional week to pay him for his services and instead of waiting, he went to her home, pushed himself through her door and ripped out all of her plumbing so that she couldn't access any water! Who does that!

Please note that this was my personal experience with Tim. I'll never understand why I didn't just ask him to leave my condo the minute he was disrespectful.
