Contacted via yelp and got a response in minutes. We had a plumber out within 2 hours of the contact on a Saturday morning! Very professional with a. Free estimate and work was completed at a  reasonable cost! Will definitely contact again if the services are needed!

Fantastic people and work. Had a drain installed into my basement floor. Responded quick, quick appraisal, quick appointment, worked quick, very friendly, great pricing. Felt like a person and not just a dollar sign.

I haven't even had his service yet but I already wanted to leave a review to say how much I am impressed and appreciate Paul's straightforwardness! I did a quick search for a plumber today when I found my kitchen sink suddenly clogged.  I came across this page because of the great reviews and thought I'll just try and ask.  When I called and explained my situation, Paul immediately recommended that I hold off and see if the clog goes away when the weather warmed up.  He didn't want to have to charge me for a visit if that was going to end up being the reason!  Honestly, I did not expect that!  I immediately bookmarked him because I know if I DO end up needing repairs, his kind of integrity in his work is what I will need!  Thanks Paul!

I needed to satisfy the village code of Elmwood Park because I sold my house. I already had a membership with Larry's Plumbing, so I called for their approximate rates.  When I was told the cost would be around $800 (with the member 20% discount, mind you) at the minimum, I immediately started asking around.  Our handyman told us to call Forte Plumbing.  They're local, have a great relationship with the surrounding villages, and they couldn't be nicer people to deal with.  Best of all, they told me they could do the work for $250! When they came to do the work, it took them 4 hours.  STILL only charged me $250, even though it was certainly more work than expected.  I would have happily paid more.  I wish Forte serviced the far western suburbs -- when you find a good plumber, you should never let them go!  Thank you Carmen and Michael!

My bathtub faucet broke while i was giving my daughter a bath and the water wouldn't stop coming out. I called Rescue Plumbing and within 15 minutes, Dax got back to me and told me he would be on his way. A short time later he arrived and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem by replacing the cartridge and repairing the faucet. I really appreciated the amazing responsiveness and efficiency during a stressful time.

One of the first people to respond to me when we realized our basement was beginning to flood... despite having a system that worked, we felt that replacing the 20 year old system full of little issues would be the smart thing to do.

Pete was wonderful! Called him about a dishwasher installation before the holidays and he talked me through how to do it myself and what part I needed. He spent at least 30 minutes on the phone with me, responded to my texts with questions and followed up offering to stop by in the evening in case I needed help. He could not have been more helpful or generous with his time and knowledge. Dishwasher was up and running within 2 hours!

I will be using Burr Oak Plumbing exclusively from now on because of Pete!

We have been using Ray as our plumber for 15 years. He's gotten us through some nasty plumbing problems. He's quick to respond to calls. His work is dependable. His prices are reasonable. But today, he earned a permanent place in my heart: he hooked up an icemaker for me!! I love ice in my drinks and hate making it in ice trays. Now, I won't have to thanks to Ray.

Responsive, reasonable, and thorough. Arrived on time. Had all needed parts in his truck.

I had a backed up sewer line that had to be rodded at 3 pm. I called around to a lot of plumbing services and DPS was the only provider willing to come out same day without doubling the charge. They were fairly priced, responsive, and easy to deal with. I will definitely be using them again in the future if I need plumbing services locally.

I moved into a new highrise in Skokie and noticed water damage coming off of the Master Bathroom after just a month. We called numerous plumbers before finally being able to get someone to come out and take a look.  Mark came by to take a look at the issue and made a recommendation right away.  The issue seems to be coming from a bad seal on the shower door. Mark advised that we simply replace the seal and we'd be good to go. He didn't charge us a thing! Great service, great guy! Will call if we need any further services.

Answered the phone quickly and gave us a fair price to get our emergency Sunday repair done that day. Would definitely use again.

I called several plumbers on a Saturday due to a clogged sewer line. Few even called me back. Greg called right away and was over within a half hour. Greg couldn't have been nicer. Great job. Reasonable price.

They were available to work quickly, and did good work. David was patient and explained not only what the issues with my plumbing were, but how they were caused.

All in all I felt like they took good care of me.

Work done was replacing a pip with a root rupturing it, cleaning a grease trap, and replacing a toilet seal.

They worked with financing partners that allowed for flexible terms that worked for me.

Derrick was very professional, listen to problem and worked out solution.... need new faucet, water lines ok. He will return to install faucet for a reasonable charge.

I've used these folks for 20 plus years and have always found them to be prompt, thorough and knowledgeable. My house has the usual and unusual array of plumbing issues and the problems we've had were sometimes simple and occasionally complex. Things were always explained thoroughly and the work done promptly and well! My neighbor referred me to them and told me she'd used a variety of companies over the years and found these folks to be reliable and consistent! I agree with her wholeheartedly! Responded right away and had new unit installed same day. We had called another company and they had was wait a whole day without heat.

Please beware they will charge you a arm and two legs!!!  My husband found Ed the Plumber information in our  church bulletin and expected them to be trustworthy, honest and resonable or simply industry service rate  ( which does not mean cheap), but no they are absolutely the worst wanted to  replace a toliet, they quoted me over 1,750.00!!   I asked what type of  toliet costs that much... he said a Gerber so I wanted to research it  I asked for a model number and was told I DON'T KNOW, the most expensive one I found was 389.99 so are they charging 1300.00 to install, hypothetically even if the toliet costed 750.00 are they charging 1000.00 to install??  Then he said if you purchase the toliet we will install for approximately 700.00!!! I also was going to get my tub caulked since they would already be here they quoted 385.00 for just around the tub!!! This company is the absolute worst type of ripoffs ever, they prey on parishioners seeing  their advertisement in the church bulletin and believe they are contacting a honest business, but the truth is Ed the Plumber is   just using a cheap form of advertisement with a very large potential customer base with a lot of word of mouth. I really wish I could give them a  -0 for a rating!!!

Dishonest company.  I have eight furnaces for my building and they solicited me for a tune-up and turned off the tenant heat, demanding money to turn it back on BEWARE!!
