Best Plumbing Services in Chicago, IL

I've used them twice. The first time was to replace the tub handle in my bathroom. The guy came out, opened the wall in the closet by the bathroom, and installed it. It continues to work beautifully, but he left the opening in my closet. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed:
1. He needed to create the new opening instead of using the existing panel directly below to swap out the fixture.
2. I should have explicitly asked them about repairing any holes he needed to make.

So I used them again earlier this year. I initially wanted to get a high-efficiency water heater because I'm all about eco-friendliness. Well after a couple of conversations with the owner who assured me there was no real benefit to installing one with the additional expense of the appliance, and the minimal benefit of efficiency. I had another conversation with Ed who came out to view the fixture, discussed my needs, and even told him about my chimney liner issue, I said sure- I'll try this again. They were great about being prompt and finished the project according to code, which was great. But now I find myself needing to replace the water heater I bought in January with the power vent I initially wanted courtesy of the chimney liner issue I'd spoken with Ed about! The entire interaction leaves me feeling like they either aren't comfortable with installing Power Vent Heaters or they benefit more financially from selling the more traditional heaters. Regardless, I refuse to give them any more money.

Quality and HONESTY - wow - Had them replace a sink in my old house and I did much of the prep work myself, they did the plumbing work and went well beyond what we discussed to have the job done properly but kept to their original estimate.

Great service! They are professional, knowledgeable and courteous. So far I have used them twice and will continue to use them when I need any plumbing work!

Had a furnace issue over the holiday break and Brad and his partner were able to come out within about 2 hours of me calling on a holiday and got the furnace working temporarily while we wait for a new part from Carrier which they will install in a couple days. While they were here they didn't even seem to get annoyed by me hanging around as they worked so that I could get a peak at what was going on. Very personable and super nice guys! Seemed to be very knowledgeable as well. Definitely recommended if you are in their service area!

Joe is punctual and arrived on time. He's professional yet easy to talked to and able to answer our questions. We had a very bad blockage in our kitchen drain pipe and Joe worked on it nonstop till it was unclogged. Highly recommended to all my family and friends.

Derek was such a pleasure to work with. I had called about our shower not draining and he came out within a couple of hours of the call. When he was here I asked him about our sink & disposal too--both of which he fixed on the spot. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to many other places.

I called Terry to schedule just a routine check up on hour home. Hadnt had it done in a few years. He was willing to come out that same day if needed. I was not home and scheduled it for the next day. Service was prompt, professional and reliable. A team came out and they were great. The service call did not take too long. They rodded the pipes, cleared line from catch basin out to the street. Checked our flood system. Unclogged our utility drain and then even cleared shower drains and checked bathrooms. They were reasonable and I will not hesitate to use them again.

Great Work!  The owner himself fixed our sewer line with his son. Competitive price, exceptional work, quick service. I highly recommend Lincoln Sewerage & Drainage.

My kitchen faucet lost an extreme amount of cold water pressure and I was at a tiny trickle. Thinking it was the faucet itself, tried to fix that and still had no pressure. I made several calls to local plumbers and one attempted to diagnose the problem without actually coming to my home to see, another promised to come out after I made an appointment and they completely flaked, and another declined to come out due to their schedule.

I made one last effort to get someone and found Adalberto's Chicago Plumbing listing. I was a little apprehensive given he only had two previous reviews, but they were at least 5 stars. Gave him a call and he came out RIGHT AWAY. He worked so hard to clear what was apparently a sediment blockage in my water pipe. The first two times, nothing was able to clear, and he decided the best course would be to locate the blockage and replace the affected section.

He was in and out with his colleague in about 2 hours. They found the issue very fast, got the work done wonderfully, and closed up the wall for us.

His pricing was very reasonable and I am just SO EXTREMELY thankful for his help. Imagine trying to wash pots and pans in a trickle of cool water without scalding yourself with the better hot water pressure.

The work was completed and he showed me how great the pressure is now. I'm in homemaking heaven. I can finally get back to washing normally.

I highly recommend Adalberto and his team. His pricing was so fair, his knowledge and work impressive, and he is licensed, bonded and insured.

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with the service I received from this company. They were on time, professional and thorough. I'm always concerned repair people will take financial advantage because they can. That's not this company at all. They were honest to the point that my estimate went down not up. Incredibly disappointed! Todd at H2O Plumbing came to our home last week because a pre-sale home inspection revealed a leak in our indoor spa. The attitude was surly and unprofessional. We might have overlooked that but the level of service was even worse. With our approval they opened up the tile  around the tub and told us that we had to purchase a ($300) dollar replacement faucet and they would charge us an additional $650 to replace it. On top of that, they charged $150 for diagnosing the issue, and this was not going to go toward the repair (which is common practice). We would also be responsible for the repairs to the tile. We became suspicious and got a lot of feedback on NextDoor that this was not a reasonable amount to charge. After a friend recommended Sandman Plumbing, we called Tom and had a REAL professional come over and do an assessment.  He was able to immediately tell that the hot water handle in the faucet was leaking.  So H2O Plumbing was going to charge us $800, plus the $300 for a faucet totaling $1100. The entire fix with Tom at Sandman Plumbing cost $250 for a replacement faucet cartridge. The tile that was torn apart in my bathroom by H2O was unnecessary.  So now we have to pay for tile repairs. In the process of our home sale we have been dealing with many fine contractors and it is a shame that H20 gives tradesmen a bad name

They responded so quickly when I had an issue with my toilet. Their availability was very open and he even arrived 30 minutes beforehand. Highly recommend if you're having a same day issue!

Needed a plumber to clear out a colgged basement drain in my 1954 house. Called this company and they gave me tips on the phone to troubleshoot (very helpful, made sure I really needed a plumber). When the plumber came out to snake the drain he was very nice and professional.
I strongly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. I know I will be calling them if I need a plumber down the road.

Had them out for a simple valve replacement. They were quick and got the work done the same day, that's the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, I was quoted $400 for a job that should cost half that. Literally replacing a single valve that took less than 2 hours counting from walking through the door to leaving. The technician quoting the work said he couldn't do anything about the price. When I called the head office they said the same thing so I accepted it because I was already out $50 and had wasted time just to have him come out. If they had fixed pricing like this, I should have been quoted it over the phone before they came. After weeks of trying to speak to a manager, I finally spoke to someone and was told the price was non-negotiable and since I had agreed at the time, that was that. They even have a special offer on their webpage with no restrictions, but he refused to honor that comparing plumbing services to buying a cheeseburger.  So here's your warning, expect to pay a lot for a little and make sure you mention the special offer up front.
