Best Plumbing Services in Chicago, IL

Classic case of where a company takes advantage of the situation.  I was renting this home and my renters met with the plumber because I was out of town on both occasions which I'll get into now.  On 4/16/18 Greg Hannah Plumbing was called because the basement toilet and shower were backing up due to a clog.  The owners business was listed as one block away from me so I thought this would be a quick solution for my tenants.  They assessed the clog went straight to hydrojetting.  Charged $1080.  On 1/4/19 the same issue returned.  I called and they came by and said they said there was a heavy clog.   Well why wasn't this taken care of before?  My renters were planning on buying the house so they wouldn't flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. They resorted to the deal(hydrojetting) again and charged $1000.   Guess what? The same issue returned again May of 2019!  There was no way I would call Greg Hannah Plumbing ever again in my life.  I already paid this business $2080.  I used a different plumbing service and met the owner at the house.  He showed me via cameras what was going on.  All they had to do was ROD the line and remove the sludge.  What Greg Hannah plumbing did with the hydrojetting job was not fully clear the drain and charge an arm and a leg.  Don't get me wrong Hydrojetting is expensive for any plumber but Greg Hannah Plumbing didn't put full effort to rod the line.  They automatically went to the most expensive option.  The other plumber charged $325 for rodding and haven't had any issues since.  The line is still clear till this day as I had a plumber friend check the line with a camera.  I would never recommend anyone to use Greg Hannah Plumbing as there are a plenty of other plumbers in this area especially the one I used for the rodding job!

If you're looking for a local plumber, these are the guys to go to. Reasonably priced, very honest, good workmanship. I was able to call them to install our water heater and the next day they were at our house, and after a couple hours, all done! These guys are definitely in my contacts for future work!

We had just moved into our Del Webb home 3 weeks earlier when we awoke to water pouring from our basement ceiling light fixture. The water supply hose of our master toilet had cracked and had been leaking all night. We were new to this area as well so we had to rely on reviews to find a plumber. Hansen saved the day. The plumber was well qualified, nice and honest. They were at my door 15 minutes after my call. Very pleased. We want to give thanks to others who took the time to review Hansen. Passing it forward

Joe is reliable, courteous and does a very thorough job. He follows through and makes sure the job is complete. I have used Joe a number of times on a purchase we did on a foreclosure. I have been impressed with him on every job he has done for us.

Came by and fixed my nasty clogged toilet super quick, and it was after a 5 on a Friday. Would call back again for sure (hopefully I don't have to but good to know I can get a problem fixed quick)!

Recently my husband stepped out of our downstairs shower at 5:45 am into a pool of water. We do not typically have water in our basement, in fact the River Forest flooding that frequently occurs because of the nearby Des Plaines River has never reached our house in the 14 years we have owned our home. Later that same day of our problem we attempted to clear the water from our basement (even though it was still not at all clear as to its origin) but by evening the water instead of receding, appeared to be rising! We called Terry because we found his website after a Google search and he claimed to be a 24 hour plumber in our area. Right from the start, Terry put us at ease because of his professional approach to diagnosing the possible problem and within an hour (at 11:00 pm) Terry and he associates came to our home to assess the situation. We are very impressed that Terry and his staff are not only extremely professional, competent and punctual but have reasonable prices as well. They stated that they would call us by 10:00 am the next morning and they called exactly at 10:00 and by 10:40 they had installed our brand new sump pump! I asked Lincoln Sewer to come take a look at my sump pump room because there was a real problem with drain flies. They sent out two guys who came in and used a camera to check my main line but did NOTHING else and charged me $150 for it. I kept asking about the flies but they had no idea what to do and obviously were told to just camera the drain line. I have no problems with my main drain line and assumed they would actually open the sump and injector pump basins to see if there was a problem there or any of the other drains in the room. When I complained through yelp messaging I was told I would get a call from someone but no one has reached out in two weeks.

My kitchen faucet lost an extreme amount of cold water pressure and I was at a tiny trickle. Thinking it was the faucet itself, tried to fix that and still had no pressure. I made several calls to local plumbers and one attempted to diagnose the problem without actually coming to my home to see, another promised to come out after I made an appointment and they completely flaked, and another declined to come out due to their schedule.

I made one last effort to get someone and found Adalberto's Chicago Plumbing listing. I was a little apprehensive given he only had two previous reviews, but they were at least 5 stars. Gave him a call and he came out RIGHT AWAY. He worked so hard to clear what was apparently a sediment blockage in my water pipe. The first two times, nothing was able to clear, and he decided the best course would be to locate the blockage and replace the affected section.

He was in and out with his colleague in about 2 hours. They found the issue very fast, got the work done wonderfully, and closed up the wall for us.

His pricing was very reasonable and I am just SO EXTREMELY thankful for his help. Imagine trying to wash pots and pans in a trickle of cool water without scalding yourself with the better hot water pressure.

The work was completed and he showed me how great the pressure is now. I'm in homemaking heaven. I can finally get back to washing normally.

I highly recommend Adalberto and his team. His pricing was so fair, his knowledge and work impressive, and he is licensed, bonded and insured.

I was looking for a plumber on a Saturday for about 4 hrs. I had a problem
that resulted in me shutting the water off in the whole house.  My 2yr. old grandson was visiting from Nashville, so that just made it even more urgent.
Brandon was so sincere in helping me out while no one was available. I'm not sure how I would have managed if he didn't call back & come out.

I had an issue with my kitchen faucet that popped up on Saturday, so I contacted Grant for an estimate Saturday night. He responded in about 3 minutes, and was able to come Sunday morning to fix my issue. He was very knowledgeable about the different brands of faucets (knew exactly what was wrong with my Grohe faucet based on issues he's seen in the past), inspected everything in my home and replaced a couple water shutoff valves. His prices were fair, and the service and quality were excellent. I would definitely recommend Grant to others.

I had a blockage in a 120 foot long pipe that ran from my sump pump to the sewer.  I received 3 quotes and H2O offered the best price.  Todd and his team showed up right on time for our scheduled appointment.  They rodded the full length of the pipe to remove the blockage and then ran a camera through the pipe to show that it was completely clear.  They were very professional and friendly.  No surprises on the bill.  I'd definitely call H20 again and recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Jason is awesome! I have used him for a few different projects. I had a pipe burst, and he had it fixed in an hour from the time I contacted him! Very reliable and knows his stuff. He goes the extra mile to even follow up with you to make sure everything is completely resolved. Highly recommend!

Best and most honest plumber ever.   Awesome work.  Great problem solvers.  I would only use for any plumbing work.

Had them out for a simple valve replacement. They were quick and got the work done the same day, that's the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, I was quoted $400 for a job that should cost half that. Literally replacing a single valve that took less than 2 hours counting from walking through the door to leaving. The technician quoting the work said he couldn't do anything about the price. When I called the head office they said the same thing so I accepted it because I was already out $50 and had wasted time just to have him come out. If they had fixed pricing like this, I should have been quoted it over the phone before they came. After weeks of trying to speak to a manager, I finally spoke to someone and was told the price was non-negotiable and since I had agreed at the time, that was that. They even have a special offer on their webpage with no restrictions, but he refused to honor that comparing plumbing services to buying a cheeseburger.  So here's your warning, expect to pay a lot for a little and make sure you mention the special offer up front.
