Best Plumbing Services in Chicago, IL

Called this company to come out to fix a drain pipe, as there was water in the basement.  The plumber routed the pipe, and even sent the camera down, but didn't see any blockage.  Ran water, and it was still backing up.  The guy said to 'watch' it.  An hour later, after running the shower, there was water all over again.  Called him back, and he said there was nothing he could do.  
Called a DIFFERENT company, who came out, and FIXED the problem, while the guy from Absolutely clear stood by and watched.  We had to pay over $200 to Absolutely Clear, and they did NOTHING to fix the problem.  Then had to pay another plumbing company to fix it.  Tried calling Absolutely Clear to see about getting some of our money back, and after talking to Diane, who said she would call me back, have not heard anything from them.  They won't even answer our calls now.  WHAT A RIP OFF!!  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!  Not worth the time and hassle, especially since they can't do the job.  Save yourself some money, and call someone else.

We had a small leak under our kitchen sink and I wasn't sure what the cause was so I went into the Yelp portal and found Easy Work (Jon). He was very responsive and after showing pics and video, he gave me a quote and came over the next day to take care of the issue. He was on time, answered calls/texts, and very professional. Highly recommend!

Yep, good as it gets. Reliable's been around for a long time -- their dad started the business and now two brothers carry on the tradition. Josh quoted a price to us for finally resolving our sump pump/gutter problem. He ran into a problem because of tree roots gone wild in the parkway -- making the job more labor intensive than he thought. Didn't make any difference. He was prompt, courteous and, like the company name says, reliable. We couldn't be more pleased.

While he worked around rain days, our hot water tank bit the dust. We called Josh and four hours later we had a new hot water tank at a very reasonable price.

This is an honest company with hard-working diligent owners you can trust. Reliable Plumbing is our Plumber for Life. You won't be disappointed.

Had a leaking shower faucet.  Needed to be replaced.  Called in Thursday came out Friday morning.   It was great fix and price. Mike was great. Explain what was done and fixed in 20 minutes.  Works great now. I will call on them again if I have any plumbing problems.

I wrote a positive review a while back, because Derek came out to my home twice before to address some plumbing and sewer concerns I was having.  Both times he assured me that things looked okay, and didn't feel any work was warranted.  Didn't charge me a service fee, no dishonest games or money grab, just an honest assessment.  He went on his way, and I figured I WILL call DRC back if I do have a problem that needs fixing.  Well, today was that day.  Our sewer drain in the laundry room backed up, and spewed out a pretty decent amount of water, which was probably mixed with waste.  I sanitized the literal crap out of the floor when all was said and done.  Anyhow, I call Derek just after noon.  He, along with Keith, get to my house a little after 2:30pm.  They quickly assess that my ejector pit pump is broke.  Like changing a light bulb they're done in about 45 minutes!  They explained the product, maintainance, and answered a few other questions I had.  I feel confident that not only is our problem fixed, but that Derek will backup his work and any issues that might arise.  I feel like I have a good track record with him now.  Anyhow, I won't hesitate to use their services again.  Clearly knowledgeable.  We appreciate this company!

Amazing people, amazing work and unbelievable integrity.  Let me start by saying I live in a area for the past 30 years that is nortorious for having plumbing issues.  My plumbing backed up once again on a Sunday.  Jason promptly replied to my call and gave me options to get service either that day or first thing the next morning.  I choose the next morning.  Jason and Joe showed up at 6:45am and immediately began work.  These two were very friendly and courteous.  Never in the 20 plus times of a plumbing company cleaning out my main has a company EVER gone all the way into the main sewer and rodded all the way to the main sewer to be sure the line was clear and running as it should.  Trojan Plumbing, Jason and Joe did this.  I was always given this 'line of crap' that I can only go to the curb.  Although my plumbing backed up it's actually a blessing, because I am confident that I have finally found a plumbing company that values their customers and takes pride in their work.  Trojan Plumbing has just gained another customer for life... right here.  I am so glad I called them.  Thanks Jason and Joe and Trojan Plumbing!

My sink is now leaking majorly again as your guys didn't fix it properly. This is so stressful.

I first met Charlie in January of 1994 during a week that the high temp never broke 0. I had just taken possession of my first house and was about to get a crash course in plumbing. A pipe had ruptured and was leaking inside the wall. Charlie came right over, found the leak and repaired it. Once the water was flowing again, I had every faucet in the building dripping to avoid another broken pipe, and discovered that the water was backing up & flooding the basement. Charlie came back the next day and rodded the sewer line.

I have gotten pretty good at sweating copper pipes since then, even toilet repair, and installing a water heater in that first building I owned.

The ancient water heater in building that I'm in now finally tapped out this past week. It was in a tighter dirt crawl space and wasn't just a simple swap-out. I contacted Charlie this past Saturday and expected that I would have to wait to fit into his schedule for this week. He told me to contact his supplier to purchase the water heater and that he would pick it up and install it Monday morning. True to his word, he was at my place right on time ( a rarity with contractors) and installed it. He hit a few snags with the piping and exhaust and wound up staying longer than anticipated. He never tried to alter the price of the install because of it, and even fitted new water and gas shut-off valves for me.

It is rare to find a solid, stand up guy like Charlie in the world of contractors out there, so if you need any plumbing work done - I strongly recommend contacting him.

Have a 70 year old home with many issues.  Matt was able to upgrade my plumbing into the current century.  He installed a new dishwasher  and 2 faucets.  Was very professional, punctual and informative.  Would recommend.

They were absolutely fantastic! Sam replaced the garbage disposal quickly and really well. Very professional right from the appointment reservation till the work was complete and the price was good too.

Edwin was quick to come out to give a free estimate. He was also quick to get the job scheduled. Everything went as expected. Very happy with the work. Job consisted of replacing the outside faucet &  main shutoff. Also, added a shutoff for the faucet.

All the great reviews are legit!  Nick called right away and replaced our garbage disposal.  Great service and he came in under the quote!    I've put his number on speed dial.  :)

Our door was forced open and the frame was damaged.  Al came over and fixed it to where you could barely tell it had been broken.  It was quick and reasonably priced.  I plan to use this company again for other projects we have.

I did not decide to cancel.  The gentleman I spoke to specifically said that he could not guarantee that someone would be able to come out at all yesterday.  So if you were planning on coming in the afternoon he did not sound too hopeful about it.  And yes I was expecting you earlier because that's when the appointment I made 2 days prior was set for. And if you have to bump someone for other emergencies then common courtesy tells you that you should at least call them and let them know.  Let's just call it a clean break and the best of luck to you and your company.
