It's hard to find a decent plumber in this city and after having multiple bad experiences with plumbing contractors over the last month I was doubtful these folks would change my tune.  I was pleasantly surprised to deal with competent people who actually cared about fixing their customer's plumbing issues.

I contacted Rocket Plumbing to deal with a clogged sink that occurred recently in our home.  They sent out a really amazing crew who were professional and thorough in clearing the drain.  The last plumber we used to clear the sink didn't really get the drain as clear as they could have and took off as soon as things appeared to work, but these guys took their time to make sure everything was good and proper and even ended up routing the drain twice once they noticed that the clog wasn't completely cleared up.  They were incredibly careful with all of the cabinets and worked super smoothly!  I'll be using this company in the future for all of our plumbing services.

I had water backing up in my basement in Pilsen area and needed help quickly. I put a request on Yelp that sent to 7 different companies and these guys responded under 2 minutes it was crazy fast. David came out the next day and had to trouble shoot a few things because I have an odd setup in my basement. He figured it out fairly quickly after some conversation with his manager and they ended up having to hydrojet my pipes because we use too many flushable wipes. (Ladies and gentlemen learn from us those wipes are NOT flushable. Well they flush they just don't break up as easily as toilet paper) I really appreciated the fact that David took the time to explain that to us. We aren't plumbers and just go about our days. He sees this Sh!+ (pun intended) on a daily basis so to hear what caused the issue has already changed our bad habits. David fixed the issue and even came back the next day with his manager to make sure it was all good for us. I will use Chicago Sewer and Drain Professionals again. Hopefully not too soon but will recommend to family and friends.

Another HuGE note here is I have had plumbing issues in the past because I had a bad contractor so had to have things rechecked and redone the right way. In the past I have always felt bamboozled or swindled by having to purchase something more or felt as though the issue was bigger then it really was and therefore cost more money then originally quoted. I can tell you I didn't feel taken advantage of Infact I felt the price was extremely fair here for how quickly they responded and had my issue rectified.

They never figured out my problem after 3-4 trips? Do right rooter figured out the valve was bad from the factory in about 10 or so minutes. So yeah I got that going for me which is nice. So I will not be calling Windy City plumbing anymore they couldn't fix my problem so I suggest calling someone who can!

Kevin was the only person in this 10 Yelp list of plumbers in the area to pick up the phone and come out within 30minutes of helping to fix the leaking problem! The job was well done, neat, careful, this is an old building and he knew how to manage the job! He gave me an estimate of low to high and it came under! Quick in texting and was able to pay through quick pay with bank! 21st century plumbers! Highly recommend and already now our plumber!

Jesus was great! I got a quote from them and they came out a half an hour later. I had a kitchen sink that would not drain so they rotted out the pipes to clear the clog. My P-trap pipe was cracked and leaking so he replaced that pipe for me, and cleaned everything up! The price was very reasonable, the communication was great and they were very friendly! I will be using them again in the future :)

After calling another local plumber and getting an answering service that scheduled me for an emergency appointment about 5 hours after I needed something done, I called Green Tech and spoke to Kevin about my basement floor drain backup that was seemingly about to engulf our entire basement in water. Kevin talked us through the likely problem and Nick from Green Tech was at our house within 40 minutes.  Nick rectified the problem immediately and put our minds at ease.

While my problem was not something I could do on my own, many of the other reviews here suggest that Kevin will simply talk a homeowner through a simple plumbing process instead of charging to dispatch a plumber over to fix a relatively easy problem.  As a consumer, this speaks volumes to me.  I highly recommend Green Tech.

Danny is a true asset to this company. He was at our place for a good 3 hours cleaning our sewer line. He started with the most cost-efficient alternative of power rodding, which is also more conservative for older pipes.  This was sufficient in order to be able to scope the line and inspect for possible issues. He showed me on the spot that the line itself was unbroken, luckily! Because of this experience with MHJSS,  I am in the process of hiring them for another project, and will use them to inspect my next residence, hopefully soon. Thank you Mike and Danny!

Can't say enough about good things about my experience with Sims and Sons Electric and Plumbing. Was looking to add electrical and a ceiling fan to a bedroom that didn't have it and shortly after reaching out for a quote, Darrell contacted back with a fair price and scheduled me for a last minute appointment the week of Christmas. Enis came out to do the work and I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and was able to explain everything thoroughly. There's always a sigh of relief when you know the person working on your home is a true a professional and master of their craft. Enis also wore a mask and had his own shoe covers, which made the Mrs. extremely happy. Can't beat the customer service and quality of their work!

I called because we have a spigot on the front of the house that has just a trickle of water.  A spigot, you know, that connects to a pipe in your house through a wall, that you connect your garden house to.  I wanted it evaluated so that I can use it water the front yard, but more importantly to make sure a leak wasn't causing the lack of water pressure.  The woman I spoke to originally said they only do indoor plumbing.  Huh?  Did she think we had a clog in our outhouse? I explained the plumbing for all of this is indoors, and runs through the wall for use with a garden hose. Come on, every house has these.  She said she'd talk to the plumber, and then called back to say the manager said they don't do that kind of work. They don't evaluate pipes with limited flow that may possibly be caused by a  leak.  Good to know. Guess they'd be called a boutique shop, with such limited service.  Or just a really bad plumbing service.

Dmitry responded immediately to my phone call. He requested that I send photos of the problem so he could know in advance what they would be dealing with and be prepared. He explained the pricing clearly. He was accommodating about the appointment time. Lenny came on time, did nice work and was neat. I will be using them again.

I am very happy that I called Mike the Plumber! I had a clogged bathtub, and Mike fixed my bathtub problem quickly with same-day service.  I moved into my vintage condo recently, and Mike answered my questions and explained how the plumbing in my older unit works.  He is coming back to fix a radiator next week. Mike is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly and takes a lot of care in his work. I highly recommend Mike and will hire him again!
