My experience with Jerry's Pump Service was outstanding in every way. Highly recommended!

Martin went above and beyond for a minor repair, he not only answered my call and gave me a same-day appointment (without upcharging like some do), he also arrived, looked at my bathroom hose, realized it needed replacement and not fixing, and that the company that provided my bathroom sink/hose also provides a lifetime warranty. He even offered to place the service call for me. But then he realized it might take a week to get it replaced by the company, and given it is the only bathroom I have, he said he will see if there are alternatives. 10 min later he calls me and tells me he went out to BestBuy he found the needed part and asks if it's ok to come back and replace. Now tell me if you ever had a handyman who also cares, well now you do. Thanks Martin!

The bots and text messages are a coverup for a lack of communication and customer service.

We made an appointment with Fixer during a weekday, for which my wife stayed home from work. 15 minutes after the time they were scheduled to arrive, we received a text saying that they wouldn't be able to keep the appointment, asking us to reschedule and offering a $50 discount. My wife makes well over $50 a day!! This bad news was sent via text and after I responded and prompted a reply, we heard no more from them.

The $50 discount would've been easily absorbed by the Fixer's exorbitant fees. I'm leery of a home repair company that can't even honor their own appointment schedule. I understand that things happen, but at least take full responsibility and go above and beyond to remedy your mistake.

Excellent response during a flood from back flow with the city , gave excellent advice , good pricing, do not take advantage of the emergency

Would strongly avoid these guys and the associated headache.

They failed to fix the problem, only half-heartedly tried. They were slow to return when the issue immediately reappeared (despite it being obvious they didn't fix in the first place--they assured it had worked). They also didn't perform all the services charged for (scoping). And no itemized receipt for the services, conveniently. Required deposit, conveniently.

Had to get another company to fix their mess after a hefty bill. The other company did it faster, better, and cheaper.

Now they're ghosting on money they promised to return as a partial refund (itself frustrating since  other company was paid do what they failed to do). Not answering calls.

To call unprofessional is charitable.

Have used United for years now. They always come through and are consistently reliable. I'd be hard pressed to go with another plumber. Very highly recommend!!!

I had Excel Plumbing come to do a drain rodding, since the quote from J Blanton seemed extremely high of $407. The tenant reached out to Excel to ask what it would cost to rod a drain and they replied with $279 but that could increase if its more complicate

The managed to clear the pipes by rodding the drain and the total cost was $279.

I appreciated the upfront pricing and coming in a timely manner.

Our encounter with Terry was brief, but definitely great! We had a leak under our kitchen sink and had no idea where it was coming from. We contacted our landlord, who contacted Your Helpful Plumber, and they told us they'd be available within a couple hours! Terry let us know when he was on his way, called when he arrived, looked at the sink, left to get some supplies, and came back to replace the parts.

The crew arrived on the scheduled day and called ahead to let us know they were coming and what time they would arrive. They were polite, explained everything and had the job done in 2 days. They cleaned up after. They answered all my questions. Fabulous job! I would definitely hire them again!

Keeley's Plumbing is an extremely reliable company. They never tried to oversell anything during their visit. Tested the whole system , told us it's a minor issue and fixed the problem very quickly.

Tim patiently responded to all the questions and made sure I was comfortable with the fix before he left...

Body Plumbing did  our City of Chicago Backflow Device testing for our house (we have a home sprinkler system).  He came in about half the price of a few other places we called.  He was on time, very nice and professional and did all the paperwork.  Highly recommended, great experience.

Needed to find a new Backflow inspection company for our home - as our previous vendor chose to shoot up prices beyond our budget.
I was very pleased to have discovered Chicago Backflow.
People I dealt with like Nick, Tiffany, Jessica - and our technician Alan are all superb.  I get the sense this company must be managed very well, because everyone has a very nice attitude and exudes warmth.
Alan showed up right on time at 7am (even with snow falling) and was efficient and had a very kind demeanor.
Price was appropriate.
I'll look forward to working with Chicago Backflow again on my annual inspection next year.  Thanks again, Mark S.

*Update*

John promptly addressed and resolved any issue we had with the fees, making the entire ordeal incredibly reasonable and dealt with the miscommunication with great customer service.

We're more than willing to pay for a job well done and understand that, hey, sometimes fees happen - we just wanted to know some of those details beforehand. Next time, we'll have cash.

Our bathroom sink was just not draining. So we searched around and found these guys through yelp. Called them up and John set up a time for next day service. Great! Now, we haven't had many other plumbing issues and we weren't given an estimate over the phone so we weren't really sure what to expect for pricing. John shows up, fixes the bathroom sink in less than 10 minutes. Cool. Now for payment...

It came to 125 for our bathroom drain. Alright. A bit more than I thought but hey! Fixed drain. Thanks. Here's my card. **But to use a card, 5% will be added to the bill**. Hm. Alright. So 131.25 to unclog our bathroom drain with a 2 year guarantee. Could've been worse.

North Coast are beyond super!  Eric came out to provide a simple quote and ended up being a detective for close to an hour, figuring out that the super-saturation of our backyard was neither due to the sump pump drainage, nor our need to re-grade the yard (which were what I was expecting to hear).  

No!  Actually, there was a water line installed by the previous owner to the garage, but partially terminated at some point, that had not been removed from the house.  It had gotten turned on and was dumping water underground in our yard, but most of it was feeding into the cistern.  There was nothing visible in the garage to indicate a line- just in my home.  

He shut the water off, stopping the flood, then hypothesized a reason a line would have been placed there (hunting, subsequently confirmed by my neighbor), and that the owner had repoured the garage concrete over the floor drain.  I'd had three other people out before him and got bids for sump pump work and batteries, redirecting the flow to the alley, etc., but no one else had thought to just look at the water meter.  He wouldn't even let me pay him for his time, but I had his plumbers come out and remove the offending line from our home the following week.  I'm having them come back to work on the sump pump as well, and will likely have them out for a backflow solution, if it's recommended.

I highly recommend. Very knowledgable plumbers. They have fair pricing and do excellent work.

Amazing service! We've had annoyingly slow hot water in our shower for the last three years. Then we learned about Pressure Pro and gave them a call. In 20 minutes our hot water was transformed from a trickle to abundance. The difference is simply amazing. Our only regret is that we didn't find out about PP years ago. I contacted them for a diagnosis of my water heater issue. There was excess water in the water tank tray.  Two plumbers came out and did a visual inspection and immediately told me the tank is leaking and I would have to replace the whole water heater within 3 mins of just being there.  Didn't even open or check the heater.  The remainder of the time was going over the package deals they're offering, ranging from $2,400 (cheapest package quoted) to $6,000 to replace the heater. They also tried to sell me on an annual service agreement for like $200, promising some discount on the heater replacement. I was very disappointed with their inspection, and the fact they kept trying to up sell me.  And they charged $79 for this visual inspection!!!! See attached estimate!

I went and got a second opinion, and the plumber was actually more professional. He actually open up the heater and found that the insulation to be dry, no water was leaking out.  Stayed for over 30 minutes testing out the heating and cooling systems.  No leakage.  He noted the water was due to the drain backup, and not a water tank leak. Quick, easy and CHEAPER fix.  I posted the notes from the second plumber for reference.

Called to complain to management, still no responses.  Please avoid at all cost. They're just after the $$$ and will up sell you at all costs!!
