Chuck was the 3rd plumber I called for an estimate to remove a cap from my front sewer. I was 15 minutes late to my appointment- by God's grace, when I arrived Chuck had already pulled the cap out the sewer- no digging required as the prior estimates had quoted$$$ (I was sooo full of joy- the other 2 well known plumbers in Berwyn were obviously trying to take advantage of my circumstance) Chuck was honest, reasonable, and knowledgeable. And when he put the snake in the sewer it was evident that the plumber who supposedly roded my main line (approximately 1 month ago) deceived me by stating that he had rodded my main line from the catch basin to the street. Chuck pulled wipes and roots, not to mention other junk-  Chuck conducted Hydro Jetting and I was very satisfied with his work (Thanking God). The jetting even assisted with clearing of the backed up junk in my catch basin, which had been cleaned a month ago and now had filled up with junk due to the poor rodding from the prior plumber (a month ago). I appreciate Chucks integrity and hope that he is a blessing to others as he was to me. I definitely recommend him...6 thumbs up!

Yep, good as it gets. Reliable's been around for a long time -- their dad started the business and now two brothers carry on the tradition. Josh quoted a price to us for finally resolving our sump pump/gutter problem. He ran into a problem because of tree roots gone wild in the parkway -- making the job more labor intensive than he thought. Didn't make any difference. He was prompt, courteous and, like the company name says, reliable. We couldn't be more pleased.

While he worked around rain days, our hot water tank bit the dust. We called Josh and four hours later we had a new hot water tank at a very reasonable price.

These guys were wonderful. Dead 40year old water heater. They were there the next day with a replacement and, despite the challenges of such an ancient installation, were done in short order.  Hot showers. Yay!

I had a few things I wanted to have looked at.  I hadn't used DRC before so I found them by searching Yelp, BBB, and Google reviews.  I am glad I found them!  Derek was very helpful and patient in explaining what I needed and didn't need to have done.  I decided to do some replacements anyway since the equipment was older.  He completed all work the same day (new water heater, new ejector pump, clear bathtub drain) and charged a fair price for the work done.  I would absolutely recommend him and will use him again if an issue pops up.

Today Michael from Trojan Plumbing responded to our service request and he couldn't have done a better job. Professional courteous and a nice guy too. This is my second time using Trojan Plumbing and I have to say they will always be the company I call. You should too.

These guys are real PROS.   Robert and his team are nothing short of amazing.  I recently put in a pool and I needed electric and gas run from the house to the pool.  I had troubles securing a permit for the pool because I didn't really understand what the Village needed in regards to detailed information.  After a few talks with Robert and a really thorough quote of what was to be completed, I was able to get my permit.  It doesn't end there.  Once the job started, Robert was always on time and always thorough and to the point.  No fluff and mirrors... A real Pro.  Robert was able to give me guidance and good advise, all while completing every bit of what he promised to do for me.   I have had many contractors come through my home over the years.  Some great and some not.  Robert and his crew are the best of that bunch.  Top notch in every way.  100% The best.  Glad I found them.  Thanks again Robert.  My Electric/Plumber for Life!!!!!!!

My water stopped running in my entire condo building (4 residential units and 2 commercial units) at 7 AM yesterday.

I spent the morning trying to get in touch with the city only for them to tell me that I need to talk to a plumber.

I called 4 different plumbers around the city of Chicago; left voicemails for everyone. I finally come across Charlie at about 2 PM. I call him and his cell phone number in listed on his voicemail, so I get in touch with him right away. He is at my building at 3 PM. He tells me exactly what I need to do next and exactly what I need to do to prevent the problem in the future by 3:30 PM.

Charlie is extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He bestowed information upon me that helped me speak intelligently to the city about the problem. The problem ended up being a city issue, but without Charlie I would have been given the run around again. I explained to them clearly what Charlie told me and the city worked all night fixing the problem for the building (hat's off to them as well, see City of Chicago). My building's water service was restored by 5 AM this morning.

I have to assume that working with Charlie on heating or sewage would be just as positive of an experience. If you are looking for plumbing, heating or sewage service, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not call Charlie.

It's when you lose a service like water that you realize how important and how blessed we are to have clean water in the City of Chicago and I am happy to know that I now got a guy in the plumbing business that I can trust and it's Charlie.

Quick update: Charlie just called me again this morning to double check and make sure that I had running water. This is a gentleman that genuinely cares about his customers as people. I cannot say enough about him.

I have a satellite office in Wheaton and had some plumbing issues that the landlord was not responsible for.  I searched my trusty Yelp and LaCassa Plumbing was 5 stars and high on the list.  Melissa answered the phone right away and when I described the problem and that my folks only had 1 restroom, she and the plumbers put us in priority.  They settled the issue quickly, but also cited some bigger issues we might want to address in the future.  A few weeks later, yes, we needed to call again, as they were correct and yet again the plumbers came right out, assessed the issue and made plans to replace the toilet.  All completed quickly and on time.Grateful for quick service and creating a phased plan that didn't need us to spend a lot of money unless needed. A+

I had engaged the services of JC plumbing to fix my leaky toilet. In addition to fixing it in an hour they also took care of other plumbing tasks I had at my place, and he took care of it as well. A job well done, quick, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend JC plumbing and will be hiring him for my future plumbing needs

I used Edwin previously to install new drain pipes under my sink.  I called him again, hoping I had found a plumber for our future building problems.  I had a leak from the pipes he previously installed.  Upon tightening the connections, the leak stopped. He recommended a heavier gauge replacement, which I agreed to.  He seemed irritable so I tried to engage him to soften the mood.  He left and I had a new leak.  He said he would try to work me in to look at it as he was very busy...and parking was difficult in my neighborhood , it would be Saturday at 8AM...3 days later, I had a bowl under my sink to prevent damage.  By the way...he parked in my driveway, so I'm not sure what the parking issue was.  When I spoke to him and told  him calmly that since the new leak occurred after his work  I would think he would want to solve the problem.   He told me I was very difficult and didn't want to come back... So it seems he doesn't stand behind his work...just seems to want to make a quick buck...which is overpriced in my estimation. I thought he was extremely rude to me and I was very uncomfortable with his anger over something he did.  I would never use him again...and it is the first time I have ever been called difficult.  I owned a successful service business in the gold coast for many years
and I know how to treat people...I have never ever been told I was difficult to deal with before.  He just didn't want to bother.  Beware!

My sump pump went bad so had to call someone out for the replacement. Nick responded immediately and was available for the repair. He arrived to the house at the promised time and completed the job in a timely manner. The cost of the repair was reasonable and beat others I requested an estimate from. I'd highly recommend Nick and would hire him again for other repairs around the house.

Our door was forced open and the frame was damaged.  Al came over and fixed it to where you could barely tell it had been broken.  It was quick and reasonably priced.  I plan to use this company again for other projects we have.

Called on a Saturday for service due to unable to correct the problem myself due to a recent auto accident and having a fractured vertebrae. A technician arrived, rodded the main but didn't comment that the slip joint outside the home wasn't aligned properly. Left a mess of plumbing discharge in the workspace, and didn't offer to clean it up. Charged $695, and he spent double the time outside in the driveway organizing his truck, which I was told was part of the bill. I called back 10 months later, asked what their warranty was, told rudely I should be happy it worked for 10 months and I need to pay again for them to return. Called a REAL plumber who properly diagnosed the issue, corrected the issue and knock on wood no issues for 20 months. Their customer service is unprofessional, I have asked to be taken off their mailing list and they can't even do that right. BS company, they and Service 1 heating out of Plainfield are in the same category.
