The frigid temps caused the pipes in the laundry room to freeze along with the drain that removes the water from the washing machine.   After trying to solve the problem on our own and were unsuccessful, I called Jeff at JSR Plumbing and he saved the day!  He took the time to Facetime with me and assess the problem prior to coming to our home.  We had some success, but asked him to come and check it out first hand.  Jeff was able to show us what was going on and fix the situation. Being a first time home owner and not being too savvy on plumbing issues, Jeff was patient and answered all our questions.  We highly recommend JSR Plumbing if you are looking for an honest, reliable plumber.

I had called Szabo Plumbing to repair a leaky toilet wax ring on a tenants apartment and was quoted $275, which I considered fair, considering a licensed plumber and fully stocked truck would have to drive there and do the repair. What I didn't consider fair was when the shut off valve didn't work, they charged me an additional $200 to put a new one on. Now I understand if I called them out for just that repair, $200 may be reasonable, but they were already on site for the other repair.
Not to mention they never contacted for any additional approval prior to replacing it, just a text message from the plumber onsite stating the new total would be $475.
I contacted Wade, to discuss the upcharge and was told I actually recieved a discount as they normally charge $250.00 per valve, but he would talk to Kevin himself and see if anything could be done.
As I was away on vacation, I told him I would contact him in A week when we returned.....well, called him twice since returning, NO CALL BACKS.
I decided to check my Credit card, and now see, they not only charged me the $475, plus an additional $14.75, not sure for what reason, as I never received an itemized invoice e-mailed as promised.
I've always considered them fair in past work they had done for me, but as of now, have lost confidence in Szabo Plumbing and will no longer use them, nor recemmend them to friends and family

UPDATE: Upon  Kevin being made aware of this situation , he personnally reached out to me, apologized for the error, and made things right. I will continue to recemmend them and use them as a first choice for my future plumbing needs.
It just shows he is truely compassionate about customer satisfaction, THANK YOU AGAIN KEVIN FOR TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR BUSY DAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Darren and his assistant were great. Professional, efficient, and knowledgable. Showed us what the issue was and explained in terms we could understand. Didn't pressure us to repair with him. I will be using for the repair.

Quick response time, it turned out it was something simple and Juan was honest about that. I also asked him about my garbage disposal while he was there and he made some recommendations, and I will certainly use them when I am ready to replace this one before the year is out. Happy I stumbled on this company via Yelp!

We contacted Specialty because of the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed.  Kevin was able to come out and replace our sump pump seamlessly.  Very nice guy, prompt and fair prices.   We will save Kevin's number anytime we need a plumber and will refer him to our friends. Thanks again!

I woke up to a burst pipe and called at least a dozen plumbers. I got in touch with Mr. Dunbar, he gave me a two hour window and arrived on time. He quickly found the problem, gave me a price and repaired the pipe all in about 30 minutes. He and his associate were courteous, did a great job and told me what to do in the future. I'll definitely contact him for future work.

Turns out the larger issue with our plumbing needed a faster resolution, and we contracted Joe to do the job. The house we bought turned out to have a faulty setup between the sink and the washer, but the major problem was roots completely clogging sections of our sewer pipe in our backyard. It felt like a nightmare... we just got this brand new house and now they had to jackhammer the concrete porch, tear up the yard plus pull out a nasty pipe full of... well you know.

Joe and his team did a fantastic job. Our plumbing works like a charm now. It's a huge relief.

What really surprised me was the empathy that Joe showed me during this tough situation and how he did the very best he could to get the yard back in order after the work was done. It means a lot when someone takes the time to explain everything they are doing while putting themselves in your shoes.

As an aside whenever I wind up spending a lot of money on any service/product I do some research. I called another plumber the day before Joe did the major work and decided to see what another plumber would quote. The other plumber quoted the same amount of money that Joe was going to charge me. What reassured me even more was that this other plumber was saying I should get certain things installed/done that Joe was already planning on doing.

Joe and his guys are who you want to do your plumbing. I can't recommend them enough.

Forget the fact that it was the day after Thanksgiving and my kitchen sink line was clogged, leaving me with the clean up after 30 people enjoyed the turkey.  After leaving messages with no less than 5 plumbers, I finally got a response from Excellent Plumbing.  But that's not why they got 5 stars.
On time- yes.  They gave me an hour window and they were here within a minute of the beginning of the window.  I understand that's not always possible when scheduling service work, but I love it when it happens.
Team Gino got right to work.  They were very careful not to add to my mess. They got my drain opened and then took the time to flush it.  While doing that, they noticed a few other minor issues, not related to the clog (tightening, etc...) that they promptly took care of.  I was advised of the cost to rod a kitchen drain before they started. (That's always a plus too.)
They are PROFESSIONALS that do the job completely and thoroughly!  I will use them again.

Used them twice to take care the clogged main sewer lines in two different buildings. Kevin (tech) was very professional, explained in details every step of their work (how and why), clean, very reasonable price.  Highly recommend.

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

He replaced our leaking water heater with what seems like a nice unit a couple months ago. His price was very competitive. Still getting hot water, no complaints!

Paul and his crew were quick, clean and reasonably priced.  I really have had bad experiences with plumbers, usually they're condescending and aggressive. Never have I experienced that with the two times I've had to use Glennon plumbing in these very old house of mine.  Seriously use them, the best!  Thanks Paul!!

Excellent experience. The day of the appointment, the plumber called to say he'd be there in an hour, and lo and behold he was there in an hour.

He addressed the problem I'd called him for (leaky toilet), and before stepping out to pick up some parts he asked if there was anything else he could take a look at. As a matter of fact, my bathtub faucet was a little leaky too--so he fixed that as well.

Courteous, prompt, effective, and he didn't make me feel like a dolt for not knowing anything about plumbing. Reasonably priced too.

I almost wish something else would go wrong so I could call them again.

I recently had a plumbing problem. The Water softener blew a plug and water was pouring into my basement with the only way to stop it was to shut the main off. We had no water. I called All Plumbing & Sew Service. They had a plumber to my house in about 1 hour. Keith was the plumber. He did a great job getting it fixed, and we had water again.
Keith did a great job, and their price was fair.
I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I had another great experience with All Plumbing and Sewer Services inc.
I had a leak in the Master bath tub faucet. It was apparently leaking behind the wall, and I didn't notice it until water was coming through the downstairs ceiling. I called and spoke with Joe, Saturday morning explaining my problem. He said without hesitation he could be at my house in 2 hrs. He was here in 1 hr. Assessed fixed the leak. His price was a fair price for the job.
I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.

I contacted him through yelp at like 10pm, it wasn't an emergency. In fact it was a consultation.
He came the next day, explained me all my options. I was so happy with the way he was treating me and my wife that I requested him to do one job on the spot and he did it fast, clean and correctly priced.

Will definitely work with him again.
