I contacted this plumber because of the great reviews on here and he's close by. He seemed really nice and told me to text him my information and he'd keep me updated on whether he could make it out to help us or not. I text him twice with no response. We waited on him all day to see if he'd at least say he wouldn't make it so we could call someone else. We didn't have any water by the end of the day and it got very frustrating. Now we had to call a plumber to come out in an emergency because this guy didn't even bother to let us know if he'd come. We trusted him bc of the reviews and didn't expect this. Now we're stuck paying extra emergency service fees for the weekend when we could've called someone else before our problem got worse. I didn't get a text until this morning so I know he was getting my messages. I would not use them or recommend. Very unprofessional.

I had Ryan from Kevin Szabo Plumbing out today to look at a low hot water pressure issue at my kitchen sink. Ryan immediately looked at several things under the kitchen sink. He replaced a fitting that should not have been put on in the first place, flush the lines several times, and my water pressure is 100% better. Ryan was great and knew exactly what to do. In the future I will certainly request Ryan in the future. Great Job!

First ... thank you Yelp!!! I had a serious plumbing emergency today and where did I go first ... YELP , yep, Yelp.  Water was gushing in the basement from a broken connection and the city came and turned it off (hooray Village of Mount Prospect) but I needed a plumber, soon.  Zero water.  I was prepared though ... 2 gallons drinking water and a case of 16.9's on standby.
    I called Flush based on reviews and sure enough, all true!  The return call came quickly, they came within 1/2 hour and NOT as an emergency call rate wise and problem fixed!  The guys even carried out the damaged tanks.  Polite, efficient, professional !
    Us 'damsels'  can be skiddish of servicemens' tall tales and attempts at overinflated fees but I am confident Flush lived up to their positive image and reviews.
    The city returned promptly, turned the water back on and checked out the work done and about 9,000 gallons of sadly wasted water later, I'm back and running.  This could've been a nightmare but ended up being just another day in the life ...

As homeowners, one of our worst fears is returning home to find that we have sprung a leak- your sump pump quit, or your water heater has become a decorative piece in your basement and your water is no longer hot and is leaking, or your bathtub won't empty for the last 5 days. My hot water heater went out on a Sunday morning. I called GO ROOTER and by 5:00 P.M. the new pump was in place, expertly installed, with no fuss or muss at a VERY reasonable price. Under normal circumstances, I most probably would have had to wait until Monday at 5:00 P.M. for service and then be charged an exorbitant rate for the emergency call. Juan is conscientious, honest, attentive to what YOU want done, very hard working, and is most aware of the commodity we value most, time and money. His work is impeccable and if Juan tells you he can complete the work in one day- it WILL be done-at a reasonable price. So, God forbid, you spring a leak, know that by contacting GO ROOTER and their professional staff of certified plumbers you will receive top notch counsel, superior plumbing skills, and a man you can call friend-Juan Zarate.

Great Service!! Had some faucets and valves replaced , Michael was very courteous and knowledgeable , I recommend them . Reasonable prices, and great customer service .

I choose my businesses mostly based on yelp reviews from real customers. I am so glad I listened to the reviews and went with Kevin at Specialty Plumbing Co. He's probably the most honest and helpful person I have ever hired for a job. He didn't try to up sell me and explained in full detailed every part of the job he was doing and answered even a few questions about other issues I had not related to the job. Pricing was very reasonable compared to others. I am very pleased with the job he did and asked him if he could come help at my parents house as well. Would definitely hire again.

I contacted Dunbar Plumbing they came out the next day and fixed my water spigot and they were quick and cleaned up after themselves.  The price was good and I will use again hopefully nothing soon but yes check them out.

Don was prompt, reliable and reasonably priced. As a new home owner in Chicago, he quickly diagnosed the issue in my basement and completed the pipe repair in less than 90 minutes. I highly recommend and will use him again.

Called Joe at Boss plumbing to fix a broken pipe in my 2nd floor bathroom. Joe came out the very next day and sent Carlos the following morning to do the work.

Unfortunately, the damage was underneath the tub and they had to cut through the ceiling to reach it. Rough situation, but Carlos did a great job replacing the pipes where needed. Just as importantly, he walked me through some ways to prevent problems in the future with my very old plumbing system.

Everything was great, except both Joe and Carlos showed up early for both appointments. I work from a home office on time-sensitive contract projects, so it's not so easy for me to step away without notice. Wish I could give 4 1/2 stars.

Will definitely use them again!

Highly recommend this company. Water pipe developed a pinhole leak in an upstairs bathroom, resulting in water coming through the ceiling of our family room. Called Excellent, and Gino and Konstantin showed up a short time later. The leak was repaired within an hour. They were very courteous, professional and neat, and the cost was quite reasonable. Will definitely use them again.

Martin was excellent!! He was very knowledgeable and honest. He fixed the problem and cleaned everything out. Needless to say I won't be using flushable wipes again. If I have too, I will definitely use their services in the future

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

Excellent service;  fair prices.  We had a pipe burst during the polar vortex.  Victor came within a day at a very busy time, and installed a new shutoff valve.  His son returned a few days later, and replaced the pipe that was burst.  

We have also used Hinsdale Plumbing to replace two toilets.  Professional service that includes arriving at the scheduled time.  Will definitely use them again.

I wanted to leave a 5 star rating as Good Plumbing INC because they turned a bad plumbing experience around quickly and provided me with a great service and fixed a broken water pipe in my home at 10:30pm!  

I was stood up by another plumbing company when i was in need of emergency service while other companies wouldn't provide service until the next business day.  I couldn't wait as I had water flooding my basement and Good Plumbing came to my rescue within 45 mins of my call!  Also want to mention the office personal was incredibly friendly and helpful with instructions on how to shut off the water in my home to prevent any further water damage.  

Good Plumbing showed up with all needed tools and materials to fix my broken water pipe and had it fixed in less than an hour.  Pricing was reasonable and I don't think I was charged the emergency service fees.  I truly stumbled upon a gem and will be sure to call Good Plumbing for my  future plumbing needs!

These guys are not only the best, most honest and professional plumbers in the business, BUT their prices are so affordable! I am so glad I found this business from a recommendation on my Nextdoor app when my pipes froze last winter. I had to use them again today for a leaky pressure valve. They came fast both times and charges were so minimal. I am amazed! Nice guys, nice work!

Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.

I contacted several companies (all with good Yelp reviews) to get quotes on a new water heater.  A & D was able to give me a quote over the phone, which was $200 less than the other two quotes for the exact same brand & size water heater.  

They showed up on schedule and were very friendly, even funny.  They put down canvas tarps from my front door all the way to the location in the basement where the work was to be performed.  Once finished, they explained how the new water heater works and what to expect.  I paid the quoted price, even though the installation required a new valve (which another company said would cost $67 extra).  Another reviewer mentioned this, but they only take cash & check for payment.  They'll remind you when you call them so you're aware.

Overall a positive experience and a price that was much better than the competition.  Definitely consider A&D if you're getting quotes for any plumbing work.
