JSR Plumbing has been a lifesaver.  Jeff has come over on a couple of occasions now to fix things from our interior water pipes and extractor pump.  He's fast to respond, reliable and reasonably priced.

Terrific same day service on a Sunday afternoon.  Nick was our on site plumber-- great guy.  Was very clear and honest on what needed to be done and finished the job in a timely manner.  I strongly recommend these guys for any plumbing needs.

Had a clogged sewer drain on a Saturday afternoon.  Called the emergency number and had a call back within 10 minutes.  The crew was out in 45 minutes, cleared the clog, cleaned everything up and we will definitely be using them again.

Of all the 24/7 plumber service reviews, Go-Rooter reviews convinced me.  To my disappointment, three hours later, I received a call back.

Polite answering service takes your information. Next, be prepared for the possibility of waiting three hours for a call back.

My problem was time sensitive: I called back twice. First time, just to get a sense of when someone would call me to explain the problem.  Second time to find out if they would be able to dispatch someone today (because if their swamped with work I need to find another company).

Answering service only forwards the message. 3 hours later I got a call but I had retained another company. Simply prepare for the possibility of a 3 hour wait for a call back.  Have a plan B.

I recently needed a plumber in an emergency as I had a water leak and was about to show my home to a potential buyer. I was given Roccos name by a mutual friend. After a call to Rocco,  he sent a plumber to my home within an hour. Michael was very professional explained the problem , fixed it and was out the door in 45 minutes. Total professionals from start to finish .  I have used numerous companies in the past with my homes but Rocs just went above and beyond to help  at a stressful time, and my home is outside of the area he normally serves . If you want a top quality company Rocs Plumbing should be your first call.

We had to have a plumber come out to replace the silcock (faucet) in the back of the house due to a steady drip.

I called early this morning (Thursday) and explained the issue to Kevin and he said that he was booked for Friday, but this afternoon was open if that would work for my schedule.  

Once he arrived he was knowledgable and really nice.  Not only did he fix the issue, but solved it in such a way that he said I'd be able to take care if this issue ever came up again in the future!

We found Kevin to be honest and genuine and we are definitely keeping his number for future plumbing needs!!

I needed an estimate for services and was happy to not only have someone answer quickly but the owner himself. He walked me through cost estimates, timing, labor, and parts cost. It was easy, polite, and friendly conversation.

Good to see a local customer service focused business in the South Shore community.

Don was extremely professional, prompt with response/scheduling, and explained all options available to fix my bathroom shower and toilet. He is knowledgable, and provided education on what to look for in the future. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in his service area. You can tell he loves what he does and works hard to provide an exceptional service. There is a reason he has an avg rating near 5 stars!

I too found out about Boss Plumbing through Yelp!  Thank goodness for all the positive reviews!  I had been previously given rec's by friends for plumbers but would not get a call back or any interest in taking on smaller projects!  True to the Yelp! Reviews Joe answers his phone whenever possible and texts me the night before for his arrival - his guys are super friendly, motivated and focused on their trade.  Having purchased a custom built home with lots of nuances and unique plumbing issues, Joe worked with us to come up w a solution (creating an access panel).   While here, one of his guys found a leak in our basement and was able to fix it, along with fixing another, more involved, leaky pipe.  They did a great job installing our water filtration system in the kitchen so we can say goodbye to water bottles and fixing a faulty/old seal around one of our toilets.  Definitely Boss Plumbing will be my go-to plumber and will recommend to others!

EDIT: I just noticed Gino responded, so I wanted to clarify that I NEVER asked for our money back. I think he forgot the conversation was recorded. ;) I was hoping for him to come back out and look at our pipe because the issue was not resolved the first time, but I guess that wasn't an option. If any additional service needed to be provided, great, we'd pay for that too, but the problem is that a pipe that was unclogged in a bathroom that we do not use should not be clogged after 2.5 weeks of it being unclogged. We do not care what needs to be done, we just want our basement to not flood!

ORIGINAL POST: Two weeks ago we had flooding and called Exellent plumbing. Gino came out, said our pipe was clogged and unclogged it, we paid him $700 and he was on his way. Last night, we had flooding again, in the same spot, but worse! Our entire downstairs basement carpet is ruined. I call Excellent plumbing, Sorry I'm just the virtual receptionist, someone can call you tomorrow morning Tomorrow!? We are in the middle of an emergency and their website says they are open 24 hours!?! My husband goes to home depot and rents a drain auger (for $26) and uncloggs it himself. Gino calls me at 8:20am the next day (12+ hours from my original call) You called?..... After I let him know what happned he responds with I don't really care what you have to say, I unclogged it, so it's not my problem anymore. You need to get a scope done. It's not my fault. He just kept going on! I was extremely caught off guard by how combative he was. I was hoping for a solution not a temper tantrum. While he was continuing to yell at me, I let him know I was recording the coversation and he hung up.

I've never experienced such bad/immature/disrepectful customer service. Never once tried to offer a solution or professional help. It was blatantly obvious he knew he didn't complete his job and scammed us out of $700.

Same day appointment, technician very detailed, explained the problem, all solutions with pricing, quick/fast, professional invoicing/payment with before and after pictures.  Great plumbing service.

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

Addendum to my earlier post- I received a call from Victor today. He apologized for the unforeseen delays. HP was able to come out and fix several small issues quickly and efficiently. Appreciate the call and the quality service!

Hot water heater went out. Called countless plumbers and attempted to fix myself.  Glennon was recommended by the guys at Ace hardware. Got back to me immediately. After three days without hot water, grateful they were able to come out same day. Staff was friendly, job was done right. Appreciate their attention to detail.

Got up at 5 to get to building by 7am. I am not a morning person. Plumber was supposed to be here at 7am to fix water leaking through ceiling.

He never showed up. I called him. No Answer. I called the Express Plumbing number and was told he would figure out the issue and call me back. That was an hour ago. I just called again and they didn't answer the phone.

The guy was apparently nice when he did show up on Tuesday to look at the problem (I wasn't here). He said it was a simple problem and would take 40 minutes. He said he would be back with parts but didn't give an estimate. Nice-ness does not mitigate unprofessional behavior.

I don't mind being cancelled on due to an emergency (I am aware it is pouring buckets out). A cancellation is better than a no-show.

LAST MINUTE edit that added the extra star: Just got a call apologizing and saying that they can't find the person that was supposed to be here. He also offered to send someone else out. Though I had already called another plumber, I do appreciate the eventual call.

However, new plumber came and found a huge leak caused by several issues and as I watched him remove the lead pieces with hugely corroded holes in them, I had to agree.

I was told I would get a call that evening after calling to have someone check out my garbage disposal. The person I spoke to was super nice and she told me to expect a call that night from the person who would be coming out. I called the next day because I had not heard from anyone. I left a message with my phone number. I called back several times that same after not getting a call back. When someone picked up a call at nearly 5pm they said that someone had called me- but when I asked what number they had, they were off on a digit. Ok, these things happen, I'm told to expect a call to set up a time and again, give them the correct phone number to reach me. Again, I was not contacted. I was disappointed because I was referred to them by a current customer and because they have such great reviews on yelp and google. After 4 days I just went with another company.

Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.

Great all around. Very friendly! Loved Debbie and her sons Brandon and Matt. They came out right away and fixed our plumbing issue that 2 others could not fix. Very informative. I will definitely recommend them and use them in the future!
