I contacted this plumber because of the great reviews on here and he's close by. He seemed really nice and told me to text him my information and he'd keep me updated on whether he could make it out to help us or not. I text him twice with no response. We waited on him all day to see if he'd at least say he wouldn't make it so we could call someone else. We didn't have any water by the end of the day and it got very frustrating. Now we had to call a plumber to come out in an emergency because this guy didn't even bother to let us know if he'd come. We trusted him bc of the reviews and didn't expect this. Now we're stuck paying extra emergency service fees for the weekend when we could've called someone else before our problem got worse. I didn't get a text until this morning so I know he was getting my messages. I would not use them or recommend. Very unprofessional.

Can't say enough good things about these guys.  Excellent, very professional customer service, and extremely responsive.  Our water heater went out over a weekend and we needed a replacement.  Called at 9pm on a Saturday and got an immediate response.  We did have to wait until Monday to get a replacement due to the size of our water heater, but they squeezed us in so we wouldn't have to go another day without hot water.  

Our technician really went the extra mile when I asked him to check out a few other plumbing issues that we were experiencing and wanted to get his opinion on repairs.  I also needed to have some special documentation for the repair due to our home warranty, and they were very accommodating.  I would not hesitate to recommend these guys - in a field that can sometimes have a lot of shady characters, these guys are the real deal.

They came on a Saturday to fix my broken disposal.  After calling, I received a call back right away, saying they would be there within 60-90 minutes.  After 2 hours of waiting, I called back, and they called me back, and would be there within 45 minutes.

They arrived, said it was the disposal (it was a goner) and replaced it quickly.  Nice guys, fast service.  

They charged an exorbitant amount, I have to say.  I was in a bad situation; traveling for 5 weeks straight and I didn't want to leave my house sitter with an unusable kitchen sink.  Next time, I will not call on the weekend!!

Last Saturday morning I discovered a leak under my kitchen sink. There was a hole in the garbage disposal. I called Juan and he was at my home in approximately an hour to provide a quote. He was able to complete the job the same day. He's very professional and efficient.

Apparently doesn't like to be bothered with additional questions or will not put a quote in writing after verbally providing quote over phone after sending pictures of current system.

I called Kevin to change 2 tub/shower cartridges for me  and I couldn't be happier with his work. He arrived exactly when he said he would and did great work and was an all around pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

I hired Dunbar's to install a new water heater.  They did a good job.  A year later, I was smelling sewer gas and called Dunbar.  They came over within an hour, told me the only problem was that I needed to clean out my catch-basin.  They said they could do it for me for $300 or he could show me how to do it myself.  I also had him look at my shower drain, which was clogged.  He instructed me how to clean this out as well.  I tried to pay them for their time, but they refused.   I guess I'll be calling Dunbar the next time I need plumbing work done.

I highly recommend DE Mathieu Plumbing.  Don was very responsive to my request for a quote and was able to provide the quote based on a picture I texted to him.  His price was reasonable, he showed up on time, and was friendly and efficient.  I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I had gas leaking from a toilet that needed to get fixed. We called several plumbers but Boss Plumbing was the only one who answered. Joe showed up on time the following day to fix another plumbers mess. He showed up on time, addressed the problem and told me what it would cost. They are more than fair with the price and meticulous with the repair and clean up. All in all we are more than happy with their service. Boss Plumbing will be the company we call on in the future. If you are looking for a local plumber who is passionate about his business and his customers Boss Plumbing is the obvious go to. I highly recommend their services.

Spoke to Gino (Owner) and began inquiry for estimate. Stanley came over for estimate. Stanley is a very nice guy and easy to talk to. He handled the furnace installation. He took pictures of old furnace and circulation pump on boiler, and reviewed the plumbing work and took pics. Furnace took about 4 - 5 hours to install and also replaced thermostat. Furnace works well so far and very happy with the install. Thank you Stanley!
Constantine was in charge of the plumbing aspect and he as well was very easy to talk to and work with. 2 day job, each job took about 4 hours. He also helped unclogg my bathroom sink and bathtub (not for free) lol I had a bet with my fiance that our kid clogged it with toys, I won the bet, thank you Constantine! Bathroom sink had about 7 years worth of my daughters and fiance hair. Ugh. Very pleased with the work done, thank you Constantine!

I would highly reccomend Excellent Plumbing for their work and the professionalism. Fair pricing and nice guys to do business with. We will call them back when we have more to repair and maintain! Thank you Gino!

Side Note for old homes:
Once the water was turned back on after plumbing work done, water flow to my bathroom sink was not great. All others were fine. Me not knowing a lot about plumbing I called Gino believing it could have been an issue they may need to resolve due to the work recently performed. He explained to me that since I have an old house (almost 100 years old) I have galvanized piping. Over time corrosion develops on the horizontal pipes and become clogged over time. Unfortunately this can occur if you keep turning off your water and turning it back on, or eventually will happen at some point in time. He explained that now homes are now made with PVC or copper pipes now to prevent this.
I appreciated the explanation and most likely will have to call on them again to re-pipe my house. Its unfortunate, but it is what it is.

These guys were fairly priced, great to work with and fast! Jesus answered all my questions! I highly recommend these guys!!

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

Wonderful service!  We had a loose toilet that had been repaired by another plumbing company some time ago, but the problem happened again.  This time I called Hinsdale Plumbing, based on the Yelp reviews I read. Those reviews were spot on! Matt, Victor's (the owner) son came out that afternoon and surveyed the situation.  He was smart and tenacious, determined to fix the problem, emphasizing service and he did it at a very fair price.  If you're looking for responsible, respectful service, please give them a call.  A great example of a family that works to be proud of their product.

I called to see how soon I could have someone out to inspect an issue with our plumbing. The crew arrived within 30 minutes and they were able to resolve the issue in no time!

They replaced a switch on the sub-pump and were great plus a reasonable price of 135.00!  I would use them again.

Fast, affordable and knowledgeable service. Joe came out on a Saturday and took care of our problem in a very timely manner and at an affordable price. We had had a couple other estimates for what needed to be done and Joe explained that it was a much simpler and cost efficient fix than we were told. This is a company that will not try to sell you unnecessary services, but instead diagnose the problem in an honest and affordable way to the homeowner. Thanks so much Joe!

Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.

We had a back up at our house and contacted A&D right away. They got back to us right away, I would say within 10 minutes. They said they were not able to come out until the following week which wouldn't work for us. But instead of just writing us off after we told them we would look somewhere else, they told us all the possible causes for our problems and told us to contact them if we had any questions.

Even though we were unable to use their services, customer service like this is what makes me want to call them for the next plumbing issue.
