I was in a pickle! I had a leak and my bro-in-aw the plumber was out of town!  I had a leak in the supply valve for the whole house, a fixture that looked original to my 1920s era bungalow.  Every time I had to shut off the water to the whole house - because many of the fixtures do not have individual shut-offs - I crossed my fingers when I turned it back on.  Well the last time my luck ran out.  I came downstairs in my stocking feet and found the (new) wet carpeting soaked.  I had a leak.  Lacking my BILs support, I turned to Yelp and found a good review for JSR plumbing.  I called the number figuring Id be leaving a message while my carpeting moldered, but Jeff picked up.  I described the situation and he agreed to come over.  Jeff came over, tried to tighten things up but no dice.  He wound up figuring how to replace the whole leaky valve and was patient while I had to dick around with my town's permitting process.  Short story - no more leak.  Jeff apologized about the price but I disagreed (remember my BIL is a plumber) and countered that not only was the problem fixed but mucho anxiety alleviated when I have to turn the damn water off in the future.  

You wont go wrong with JSR plumbing.  And they will help you sleep at night.

Called to fix a clogged sewer line another company charged and failed to fix. Came out within the hour and unclogged sewer. They were quick to respond and fixed the problem. Highly recommend them!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. A neighbor recommended them to me. We bought a new house and had sewer gas leaking into our basement. It smelled horrible and I could not figure out the source. I had multiple plumbers look at it. Then I called Rocco. He suggested that I remove the grease trap in our basement to solve the problem. His price was VERY reasonable. I basically hired them on the spot over the phone. They were able to get a crew out the NEXT day! Crew was great, helped with a couple of other unrelated minor issues I had, removed grease trap..were very professional, clean, and courteous. Horrible odor that I've been dealing with for the past 3 months is gone. Our newborn baby is safe from the fumes. I am beyond happy with the outcome.
Will use Roc's for any of our future plumbing needs.

I called Kevin last night and he came out the next day. Did a great job. Helped me trouble shoot a very tricky leak and fixed it for a very fair price. I'd recommend him 100% if your looking for an honest fair plumber

Called Dunbar on Sunday and said they would arrive at my building between 8:30 and 9 Monday. Was outside shoveling during that time period and he said he called 3 times. Never had a missed phoned call never saw his van. Called him 30 minutes after the scheduled window and told me he would have someone there in next 30 minutes and no one arrived or called.

Don and his son came out just after some big storms hit the area but still kept our appointment from the week before. In and out in an hour repacking a leaking outside faucet.  Would call them again!

Turns out the larger issue with our plumbing needed a faster resolution, and we contracted Joe to do the job. The house we bought turned out to have a faulty setup between the sink and the washer, but the major problem was roots completely clogging sections of our sewer pipe in our backyard. It felt like a nightmare... we just got this brand new house and now they had to jackhammer the concrete porch, tear up the yard plus pull out a nasty pipe full of... well you know.

Joe and his team did a fantastic job. Our plumbing works like a charm now. It's a huge relief.

What really surprised me was the empathy that Joe showed me during this tough situation and how he did the very best he could to get the yard back in order after the work was done. It means a lot when someone takes the time to explain everything they are doing while putting themselves in your shoes.

As an aside whenever I wind up spending a lot of money on any service/product I do some research. I called another plumber the day before Joe did the major work and decided to see what another plumber would quote. The other plumber quoted the same amount of money that Joe was going to charge me. What reassured me even more was that this other plumber was saying I should get certain things installed/done that Joe was already planning on doing.

Joe and his guys are who you want to do your plumbing. I can't recommend them enough.

Our kitchen sink clogged and Drano and husbands attempt to snake it didn't work.  I reached out to a few places, this one responded almost immediately with a flat rate quote.  We got a few other quotes, most were higher or vague. Two minutes after we accepted this one we did get another quote that was $30 less but the Excellent Plumbing guy came the same day, exactly on time, nice guy, fixed the problem, explained how it probably happened and gave suggestions for avoiding it in future. Charge was as agreed. We were pleased and would definitely use them again.

The service I received from beginning to end was excellent. I called 02/11/2020 requesting an estimate for sewer service. I spoke with Hazel whom was very customer friendly. We scheduled an estimate for the next day with a two hour window. I received a follow up call from Hazel informing me the technician was running late. I appreciated the call and that my time was valued. The technician Robert came, not only was he knowledgeable, he was friendly. I expressed to him I was very hesitant, due to being taken advantage of in the past. Robert was understanding and addressed all my concerns. A smoke test was suggested, let me just say this, this was the first company of the many I received quotes from that offered a diagnostic. The very next day Robert and Kevin came and performed the smoke test, we discovered that two toilets and a flow drain was where my problem was. The same day my toilets were properly sealed and secured and a follow up to work on the flow drain was scheduled for the following Monday. On Monday technician Jesus came, him along with another nice technician started on the sewer, we then found an even bigger issue. They got the owner Joe on the phone and we talked about options. The issue required the front yard to be dug up,  Joe worked on getting the needed permits and they started the very next day. The entire experience with the Flo Maxx family was exceptional. I want to thank all: Hazel, Robert, Kevin, Jesus, Joe, Thomas and the other two technicians, sorry I can't recall their names. I appreciate the excellent job and customer service. I recommend Flo Max for your plumbing and sewer needs.

Ralph recently handles two jobs for me at a rental unit in the city.  He did a great job, showed up on time and communicated the issues to me.  Couldn't ask for anything more and will definitely use Ralph again in the future.

Spending money on replacing appliances is never pleasant. However, Victor at Hinsdale Plumbing made it an easy, painless and an informative experience. He replaced our 75 gallon water heater. From the moment when we called him for a quote to the point when he left after finishing the installation, he was very communicative, professional and credible. He educated us on the whole process and provided us with a good quote with no nickel and dime upgrades. A single quote that never changed. He came on time and did the work with minimal asks. These guys are super friendly, flexible, and good at what they do. No one can say having plumbing problems is a good experience - but these people make it pretty nice to have a plumber come to your house. I will absolutely use them again.

Fast, affordable and knowledgeable service. Joe came out on a Saturday and took care of our problem in a very timely manner and at an affordable price. We had had a couple other estimates for what needed to be done and Joe explained that it was a much simpler and cost efficient fix than we were told. Pete is a very knowledgeable plumber.  He is straightforward with the scope of the work and pricing and a very fair person to work with.  I appreciate his craftsmanship and use him whenever I have the need for a plumber.
