I contacted this plumber because of the great reviews on here and he's close by. He seemed really nice and told me to text him my information and he'd keep me updated on whether he could make it out to help us or not. I text him twice with no response. We waited on him all day to see if he'd at least say he wouldn't make it so we could call someone else. We didn't have any water by the end of the day and it got very frustrating. Now we had to call a plumber to come out in an emergency because this guy didn't even bother to let us know if he'd come. We trusted him bc of the reviews and didn't expect this. Now we're stuck paying extra emergency service fees for the weekend when we could've called someone else before our problem got worse. I didn't get a text until this morning so I know he was getting my messages. I would not use them or recommend. Very unprofessional.

I needed a shower drain rodded and they were able to come out quickly and on time. They were here for about 20 minutes and got the job done. The 90 day warranty is nice too. I didn't shop around for price, so I'm not sure if it's good or too much. You're paying for their knowledge and equipment though.

Darren just saved me about $6,000. Our main sewer line was backing up in the basement. I had one plumbing company out to take a look at the work. They advised me that I would need to install about 8 feet of new pipe as well as an exterior clean-out valve. The clean out valve in the basement was only 4 inches in diameter so you couldn't properly clean out the exterior sewer line because it was 6 inches in diameter. Decided to get a second opinion from Darren at Flush Plumbing. He came out and recommended we clean out the line from the manhole at the street. Turns out my sewer line tied in directly to the man hole. He routed it out no problem and took care of some other minor plumbing issues for me. No excavations, line replacements, or city permits needed. He'll be my go-to plumber from now on. Amazing.

Juan is a kind, informative, and accommodating person who charges a fair price for quality work. With our clogged bathroom drain, I did some price comparison and he was both reasonable and able to come the same day. He came quickly, finished the job easily, and did some tweaks to our faucet free of charge. He also has been very flexible in scheduling visits to accommodate my schedule. Reliable and fair.

A few months ago we called Kevin Rebouche when our water heater broke, and he came within two hours (and we don't live close by). He replaced the water heater and did an excellent job.
We just called again because our kitchen faucet was leaking, he came again immediately, and upon inspecting the faucet he informed us that since we had a Moen faucet and they come with a lifetime warranty we could get it replaced for free. I called and I got a new faucet from Moen, saving us close to $500.00 dollars!
His charge was very reasonable. Very nice and honest man.

I was very impressed by the level of professionalism that Dunbar's plumbing and repair service provided at my house. He repaired my bathroom unit and replaced my toilet. Angelo takes pride in his work, very detailed oriented and made sure that I had a full understanding of what was taking place. In addition, he keeps his appointments and he is prompt. He also cleaned after himself and charged a very good price. I would highly recommend his services!

I called and spoke with a man who asked that I text him the details and he would check his schedule and let me know. He said he was booked for the next month. I advised this was fine as my BBQ install with the natural gas line in the house was not urgent, however, 48 hours later and nobody has reached out to me to schedule anything.

Amazing service! Called up after my hot water tank broke down. Joe the owner was out the very next morning to replace it and did a quality job. Great guy and great company! Deffintly recommend!!

Our walkway is sinking so we know we have a broken pipe somewhere. They arrived on time, stuck the camera down not even 30 feet, charged us 260 but couldn't tell us anything. Told us to rod it out first and they'll be back while trying to charge us an additional 760.00 to have the pipes power jet it out..I don't think so. Why charge us and you couldn't complete the service, and he and my husband had words and they only discounted 30.00 off the total price of 260.00. So we decided to have it rodded out and called them back and they claimed they still couldn't push the camera through and asked for the 30.00 back. WTH!!! while once again trying to push the power jetting of the pipe for 760.00. I DON'T THINK SO....I will not refer them nor will I pay for their services.

Can't thank Above the Rest Plumbing enough for fixing our emergency plumbing issue. They came out on a Saturday didn't charge me for the visit came back Sunday morning and with in few hours the issue was fixed. They do great work, honest, dependable, and efficient. I can't recommend them enough.

Victor is the man! I had a hot water heater fail and I messed with it for 2 days before throwing in the towel and calling an expert (I'm a tinkerer enjoy trying to fix stuff). Victor arrived the same day and took logical steps to isolate and diagnose the problem. He's very good at what he does. I feel like many other hot water repair guys would have knocked around a bit and tried to sell me a new hot water heater. Victor truly wanted to avoid doing that. He figured out that the thermostat control module that I had already replaced on my own was a DOA part. He put in a new one and I was good to go. He saved me a ton of money, and I am greatly appreciative.

I live in a newly constructed condo, but some of the contractors workmanship was shoddy. After only 6 months, the garbage disposal began leaking due to being installed improperly. My sister called Good Plumbing after seeing some favorable recommendations from neighbors on the Nextdoor website.
She was told it would be $300 to remove the garbage disposal, reseal it and remount it. Not knowing any better she decided to go ahead with the job and Pete arrived a short time later that very same evening. He said he'd be in the area and could stop by on his way from another job.
Pete completed the job effectively, but his customer service left something to be desired. When he was done I asked him if there would be an additional charge in the event he had to come out again. He seemingly took this as a personal attack on his job performance and stated there would be no reason for him to come out again. I attempted again to get my original question answered, but he insisted it wouldn't be necessary. And when it came time to pay for the bill (via CC) he insisted on writing down my sister's full name, address, card number, zip code AND 3 digit security code on the back of the card. We both took issue with this for obvious reasons... it's simply not wise or safe to have that kind of information laying around on paper. Pete said it was GP policy to write down all that information and preceded to show us his clipboard containing a stack of customer receipts. All the receipts contained names, CC numbers, zip codes and security codes. I assume he was attempting to reassure us, but it did the exact opposite. I theorized if his truck was stolen then the thieves would have a field day charging up customer's credit cards. Pete balked at this suggestion stating that he'd never had a customer's information stolen in 35 years. And that previous customer's had charged upwards of 40k for certain jobs. As I said, Pete wasn't winning any customer service awards... Being dismissive of customer concerns isn't exactly the way to build rapport or loyalty. Also, it's 2021...there's no need for any service provider to be taking down customer's information. Not when there are a plethora of payment apps available that safely process payments. My sister plans to cancel her credit card and request a new one once the charge for Good Plumbing is processed.
Adding insult to injury, a couple of male friends told me later that we had been severely overcharged for the service provided. One friend said we'd been raped. Pete replaced the mounting bracket for the disposal which retails for about $20 because he said he didn't like the way our existing one looked. Then he sealed it with plumbers putty that costs about $5 at Home Depot. It maybe took him 15 minutes to do the job. I don't know what the average cost is to fix a leaking garbage disposal, but I do know the Badger model I have retails for $110. So basically, I could've had two new ones for the price we paid. That didn't feel great, but you live and learn. Next time I'll use Task Rabbit and save a few bucks.
On a positive note, I appreciated Pete's prompt response... it wasn't an emergency, but the same day service was a plus. We called a few other places and was told it'd be anywhere from a few days to a week for someone to come out. Pete also wore a mask (properly) following Covid protocols. And so far his work has been solid. We haven't had any problems.

I was going to start out my review with These guys are the best, but see that someone already beat me to it. It's true though. They are!
We moved into our new home last September, and All Plumbing came highly recommended to us by the previous owner, who had used their services to perform major plumbing work here after a basement flood. All Plumbing installed a sewer ejector pump in the basement, and helped to put in a finished bathroom down there too. They also come out each spring to rod our pipes, since we have many mature trees on our property and this causes havoc in our pipes.
I've had them out 4 times since we moved in - admittedly, twice was really for nothing beyond me being concerned about the way things were draining. They didn't even charge me a penny for one of the visits! I've had same day service when the pipes were backing up - they came within an hour or two of my call. I've seen 3 different service men and all 3 were wonderful. Regardless what the issue is that I have them come out for, they also take the time to explain all of the rest of the surrounding plumbing to me and make sure that all of my questions are answered. They also remember everything about our house, and are local so they know the neighborhood.
If you're having any plumbing problems I highly recommend them! They are a company that you can just stick with and know that your issue will be taken care of quickly and professionally.
They also do accept check or credit card.

This company;s expertise, customer service, and prices are outstanding.
I called them due to an emergency leak, along with another company in the area. The other company happened to call back first (5 minutes sooner) so I went with them. When I told A&D my decision and why, the gal on the phone told me what the approximate charge should be and wishes us well - no pressure and very friendly.
When the other company came out their estimate was 300% over A&D's - felt like they felt they had us trapped and were taking advantage. I called back A&D (kept the water turned off) and they came out the next day and charged as they quoted - also did some estimates on other considerations for some of our old plumbing and took the time to explain each recommendation to us.
We'll use this company for all our future plumbing needs and gladly pass their cards to our neighbors.
