I was very happy with their installation of my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. It was kind of complicated and I was having a hard time finding someone to install it. They did it quickly and at a good price. Thanks again.

Had a leak from my condo shower to the unit below me. Mo was quick to respond, showed up on time, diagnosed and fixed the issue within the same day. All at a fair price. I'm pretty handy and it was easy to tell he is experienced and knows what he is doing. Doesn't get any better in the handyman business. Will definitely call again for future needs!

We had a bad situation in our crawlspace with water escaping from a blown check valve. A&T came out within the hour to stop the water and replace the sump pump that was old. The line was also rodded out. The work was done timely, efficiently and professionally. We are happy with the service and highly recommend to others. Also, the company is very knowledgeable in mold and offers corrective remediation solutions.

As someone new to the area in need of a plumber, I did what I normally do when looking for information - I turned to Yelp. Great reviews always get my attention and Moody had them. So I called and left a message. Joe was quick to respond, had me take a few photos of the plumbing under the kitchen sink and email them so he could give me a quote for the garbage disposal installation.
He responded with an estimate that was significantly lower than another I had received, and we got it scheduled. Martin showed up at 7:30 AM, right on time, put his shoe covers on and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly and without leaks. And when he finished he gave me the invoice and it was $100 less than the estimate! When does that ever happen? That's the way to earn repeat business! I'll certainly keep Moody Plumbing in my approved contractors file.

I had reached out to A Solution Sewer & Plumbing Inc. for a plumbing issue that I was having. I had found their business information on the BBB website. I highly recommend this company for any major plumbing repairs. When the plumbers come out to assess the damages, they will have all of their equipment with them. The plumbers that work for this company have good customer service. They are honest, straight to the point, and they listen to the customer. Also, I had used this company as my second opinion company to assess the damages.

The Problem: My main home sewer line was breached and damaged by some shrubs in my front yard. My shrubs' roots were clogging my main sewer, causing my sewer water to come back into my basement. The plumbers told me that I needed to have a portion of my sewer line replace to fix the clogging issue in my front yard.
The Solution: This company had to perform an excavation in my front yard to repair the sewer line. Their treatment plan was to replace the damaged part of the sewer line. Included with the treatment, they had installed an outside cleanout valve to the main sewer line and removed and destroyed the shrubs and their roots in the yard that was damaging my sewer line. This company also coordinated with the City of Chicago by pulling city permits to perform the excavation.
Post Repair: As for my home sewer line, everything is working fine with no problems. This job took two days to repair. The first day was to unclog the line and triage the line to use my plumbing. The second day was to finish off the repair and coordinate the certification of proper sewer line replacement by the City of Chicago.

Wow, great service on a tricky problem. We had sewer backup in a flood drain, flood control issue and a clog. Reeg thoughtfully diagnosed and fixed all the issues quickly and cost effectively. Very responsive and friendly team. Can't say enough about Reeg, they certainly get my business and recommendation.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Chicagoland handyman. I was looking for a handyman to complete a few projects in my home. The repairman that I initially spoke with over the phone was super responsive and very polite.
I was so impressed by the Yelp reviews and by the phone call that I immediately scheduled an appointment with him. After I finished setting up the service appointment we discussed the time, location, and other details. I immediately placed an order from my local hardware store and to have all the items (appliances) shipped to my home.
The day before the scheduled appointment the repairman messaged me that he made a mistake and that he was supposed to schedule my appointment for the following day. He also mentioned that I did not send him a deposit to lock in my appointment as if I lost the appointment due to not paying him a deposit. I was confused! We never discussed a deposit or a deposit amount when I spoke with the handyman over the phone. I did not see the other Yelpers reference in their post anything about Zelle quick paying their repairman for a deposit. I thought something was odd I immediately thanked him for his time and told him I would not need his company to complete the repairs!

Highly recommend for plumbing needs! Oscar came out to fix an issue with our dishwasher and garage disposal. He was responsive, punctual, and was able to fix the issue quickly. Would absolutely use these services again!

The preferred plumbing van was dangerously tailgating me today and when I called to complain about it I got the driver who blamed me for driving by looking in my rearview mirror. He's a menace to the road.

My sewage pump was continuously running and not shutting off so I called Sinks-N-Sumps at 10:30pm because I was worried it would fail overnight. I spoke with Dominick who asked me a series of questions and had me send a picture of my pump. We spent about 30 minutes on the phone trying to debug the problem and applying simple solutions, but nothing worked. We concluded that the pump was too old and needed to be replaced so I made an appointment for the next day (Christmas Eve). The next day Dominick and Alonzo worked tirelessly for five hours to replace my pump. Several issues cropped up due to how the original builder installed the pump, but Dominick kept me informed throughout the process while educating me on how everything worked. What I appreciated most, is that there were several times when the pump was in a good-enough state and they could have left to enjoy their Christmas Eve but instead they made sure things were working perfectly before they left. I can't thank them enough for the work they put into replacing my pump and I will definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing problems.

Yet another messy emergency, and the guys from DiFoggio are there for me. This time, my bathtub and washing machine were backing up into my shower (not in the same place as the tub). I called Monday; they were short a couple guys, so couldn't make it Monday, would Tuesday be okay? Sure; it wasn't the toilets backing up (thank the stars), so it could wait.
The nicest guy showed up Tuesday, took a look at everything, and figured out that the sewer line needed rodding out. He spent a good hour (if not more) trying to cut through the clog with what looked to me to be the world's longest snake. He tried a couple things with that, found that the clog was just too intractable, and suggested coming out the next day with what he called a hydro-jet - a gadget that would shoot 4000 psi water through the pipe; most of the time that does the job. He gave me a price quote on the spot; I was relieved, as I had visions of this costing me upwards of $10K to dig up the yard.
OK. Guys (this is a two-man job now) came back today and set about water-blasting the clog out of the sewer line. It was probably good enough after an hour, but they wanted to really clean everything out, and spent another hour doing just that.
So... now my sewer line is squeaky clean (or as close to it as it's going to get). They didn't mind that I wanted to watch what they were doing, they didn't treat me like an idiot, and it didn't cost anywhere near as much as my first new car. I recommend DiFoggio to anyone who will listen.

Totally awesome experience. Inside people Erin and Morgan were polite and knowledgeable and the installers were awesome.
They were on time and cleaned up after.
Quote was right on the money.

I don't usually post reviews but given the technical
Incompetence of this company and the unnecessary headache this cost me I felt compelled to warn others.
I wasn't getting enough hot water in my house so I called these guys to take a look. They did an inspection and told me nothing was wrong. In fact they pointed out an error on my part in how I was using the shower faucet. This cost me about $300 - a tad expensive but it was my fault so I didn't complain. Everything was working great again!
They then recommended I have someone clean/service my tankless water heater as it needs to be done annually. During that process they inexplicably disconnected the small (second) water heater I had downstairs. They said I didn't need it. I trusted they were the experts so agreed.
From that moment forward it was a disaster - the showers upstairs would run cold after two minutes. This issue didn't happen until AFTER they serviced the upstairs tank and disconnected the second tank. I called them back out. At the same time my furnace broke so I asked them to take a look at the furnace while they were here.
Tony said he figured out the issue the cold and hot water pipes were mixing. I asked if it could be anything to do with the previous gentleman messing with the other water tank and disconnecting something. He quickly shot me down that this wasn't related. He said we would need to rip up the ceilings and walls of my house to find the location of the mix and it would cost between $20k and $40k. My home isn't even a year older btw.
The furnace he said we needed to order all these parts that were broken. Again the furnace isn't even a year old.
In the end I did what I should have done all along. I called another HVAC specialist and another plumber.
The 1st company told me immediately that it was a super easy fix for the heat. A spider crawled into the furnace and was disrupting the flame pattern. It took literally 10 mins to fix and cost $89. I asked him about the super expensive parts that Tony told me needed to be replaced. He just shook his head and laughed. He assured me NOTHING needed to be replaced - it's a brand new furnace.
Next the other plumbers came out. My instincts were right - during the servicing I had been sold the week before they had indeed opened a valve causing cold water from the kitchen to mix with the rest of the house. Turns out I didn't need $40k worth of work - just five minutes and $129 for someone to fix what this company caused!!
This has been an absolutely disastrous encounter. The people at the company were pleasant but completely and utterly incompetent. I am not posting this review to be nasty but simply to warn other unsuspecting customers to give these guys a miss.
Edit to respond:
** You charged me over $500 in total for the first two trips. It would be crazy to charge me the 3rd time considering you created the issue.
Secondly, as stated another company fixed the problem in 10 minutes and confirmed that it is was because of what you did. That hardly seems like bad plumbing to me.
Finally, the fact that you respond in a hostile way to your customers on a public forum doesn't reflect well on you. Just thank people for their feedback and try to do better. Feedback is a gift!!! **

I called Szabo plumbing for a clog in my master bath. 2 plumbers came out and in fixing the clog released water into my foyer. They cut a hole in my ceiling and left me with it. I spoke with many people at Szabo plumbing including Kevin, who promised a repair. A drywaller called twice and didn't show up both times. Calling Szabo again didn't get any results, so I was left to hire someone to repair my ceiling.

I've lived in many houses & have had to deal with many plumbers. This particular company however is quite unique &special. Not only are they fairly priced, flexible, & reliable;they are incredibly We'll managed. What I mean by this is that the owner of the company often deals with you personally. You don't have to go through layers of people to get some thing done. Bill the owner, Actually Calls customers back himself He is very responsive and available. If you have a problem during the day you can text him and he'll get back to you. If it's after hours & you have anything from a plumbing crisis to an EXTRA You've requested you can usually find him working late at the office taking care of details .He has diligent employees from the skilled workers to the support staff reflecting what the company prioritizes from the top down..You'll often be dealing with Bill rather than him being called in if something goes awry He's truly caring and very hands-on which only servers to make his customers feel
Highly valued as they are!
