I called and left a message because our sump pump kept going out.  Bill called me back within the hour and we arranged a time for him to come out and take a look.  He was very accommodating and replaced the pump on our schedule.  The work was done quickly and cleanly(which I really appreciated).  Will keep his number for any future plumbing work.

I was very happy with their installation of my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. It was kind of complicated and I was having a hard time finding someone to install it. They did it quickly and at a good price. Thanks again.

Well, I read all these great reviews but unfortunately, I had a very different experience with Mo's work. He was hired to switch out an over the sink bathroom light. The job took less than 20 minutes and he charged $230.00, I felt it was a lot high for 20 mins of work, but I agreed. Anyway, he didn't center the light over the sink, and I was very unhappy with the result and let him know it. He got very defensive telling me that it was impossible to center the light over the sink, without moving the electrical box housing the wires, this would entail him putting a hole in the wall, patching the wall and that would cost an additional $180.00 to do and he didn't have the time that day and would have to come back when he was in the area. That brings the cost now to install to $410.00! I was so upset that after he left, with my mother's help, I removed the light from the wall and located the electrical box behind the fixture. I found that all I had to do was remove the 3 anchoring screws on the holding plate, move the holding plate over an inch to be centered over the sink, reinstall the screws in new hole, then rehang the light, to center over the sink.
The next day, though he told me that he rarely comes to my area, he wanted to come by and center the light, and make that easy $180.00. I told him I no thanks and goodbye.  I don't like feeling that I was taken advantage of, but I was.

We had a bad situation in our crawlspace with water escaping from a blown check valve. A&T came out within the hour to stop the water and replace the sump pump that was old. The line was also rodded out. The work was done timely, efficiently and professionally. We are happy with the service and highly recommend to others. Also, the company is very knowledgeable in mold and offers corrective remediation solutions.

As someone new to the area in need of a plumber, I did what I normally do when looking for information - I turned to Yelp. Great reviews always get my attention and Moody had them. So I called and left a message. Joe was quick to respond, had me take a few photos of the plumbing under the kitchen sink and email them so he could give me a quote for the garbage disposal installation.

He responded with an estimate that was significantly lower than another I had received, and we got it scheduled. Martin showed up at 7:30 AM, right on time, put his shoe covers on and got right to work. He was pleasant, efficient, and made sure everything was working properly and without leaks. And when he finished he gave me the invoice and it was $100 less than the estimate! When does that ever happen? That's the way to earn repeat business! I'll certainly keep Moody Plumbing in my approved contractors file.

Very unsatisfied with this company thus far. Fist step was they were late to the first meeting and this, after a two hour window of waiting. Second, they promised to provide quote within a couple of days of visit. That was not done. In fact, I can them ten days after visit, left a voicemail and now 13 days after visit, still no response. Will not be doing business here.

Scott came out to fix a leaky kitchen faucet. He was very pleasant, got right to work and gave me some great tips on Moen's lifetime guarantee on parts, which it turned out I didn't need. He was here and done in about 10 minutes and refused to charge me. I am a new, but now loyal, customer!! Thank you so much!

This is my third time working with Denny and would absolutely recommend it. He's reliable, trustworthy and professional. He does a great job. I wouldn't use anybody else to repair things around my house.

Great craftmansship. Oscar fixed my toilet i was unable too. I paid him $200, he then ordered parts, showed up the next day, installed and fixed it for good for additional $80. Faor price, great work, he showed up again to make a little extra to finish a job being paid $200 upfront.

Our shower had a steady leak. I called Michael and left a message. He returned my call quickly, asked me detailed questions to suss out the problem, and gave me a fair price for the repair.
Miguel called me the next morning and came over immediately to fix the leak.
He was very professional.
I definitely recommend this business, and plan to use them again for future fixes.

My wife and I own a duplex condo where the lower level is below street level.  We had been experiencing a sewage smell which had been worsening over time.  The smell was emanating from what I thought was a sump pump, so I searched on Google for a plumber who could assist with this issue and found Dominick.

Dominick was fantastic.  When I first called, he answered the phone and asked me to send him some photos of the sump pump so that he could diagnose the issue.  Dominick immediately informed me that I had a sewage pump, not a sump pump.  Also, someone who apparently was not a plumber had installed a backup sump pump, instead of a backup sewage pump, which was completely improper and was causing some of the problems.

Dominick quoted me a price to come over and replace the pump with a new sewage pump.  He was very thorough and spent about 7 hours removing the old pumps and installing a new sewage pump. He also replaced some PVC piping which had been incorrectly installed.  He sealed the piping and the metal cover over the sump pit.  Dominick additionally replaced a valve in the piping which had been loudly slamming shut every time the sewage pump expelled wastewater; he installed a type of dampener which eliminated the slamming sound.

I am very pleased with Dominick's work as the sewage smell is completely gone and the new sewage pump has been working well.  I would definitely hire him again, particularly for complex projects.

A-1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer is a company I recommend. I actually had the pleasure of working directly with the owner, Patrick. Patrick is young but he is very knowledgeable about plumbing and sewer issues. I had Patrick and his crew out to remedy a major plumbing issue that left my basement flooded that another plumbing company had left me high and dry with. Patrick scheduled my appointment right away within his schedule. He kept me updated with any schedule delays and he with another worker arrived on the day scheduled and they worked on unclogging my aged catch basin. They worked for hours first to rod the line and then to jet rod when the routine rodding didn't relieve the clog. Patrick assessed the condition of the basin while working and we found that a previous company left or may have accidentally dropped their latex gloves in the catch basin and along with its aged walls crumbling they clogged the line. Patrick got the line clear and he also unclogged a basement bathroom sink for me. He explained that the remedied catch basin clog removal may stay open for a few months or years but recommended that I plan to get the basin rebuilt. He gave me an estimate on the spot and we got the estimate in October or November of 2018 that he wrote was good for a few months to prepare and budget for to have the work done later. Also, Patrick explained to me that for work like that I would be paying for my materials which was the bricks and he explained when it was the best time to get them during the down time of the season to secure lower prices on them. I ended up taking Patrick's bid/estimate and got the new catch basin put in the following spring. I opted for the new basin over rebuild because I was getting the aged basin removed and new materials with warranty on the work that lasted a bit longer than just a rebuild. Patrick scheduled the date for the work and they arrived as promised and the work was done in 2-3 days. And we've had no more clogged catch basin and when we last had a heavy rain out basement was dry while our neighbor's basements where flooding. I don't know if the new catch basin or the check valve I have made the difference but it was comforting knowing my basement wasn't flooding. It cost me about $5k for the new catch basin. About $650 for the jet rodding before we got the new catch basin. I recommend A-1Patrick. And they travel all over Chicago.

He  responded quickly. Gave great  advice on solving my tub drainage issues. I highly recommended them.

Don't let the nice lady who answers the phone fool you. These guys will not do the job and will steal your money. They came out 3 times in 1 month and never once did what I asked and I'm a professional. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Over the years, I've come to only use Anderson Plumbing for my plumbing needs. They're quick to respond, have great staff from the office to the service people and do good work.
We recently had a major leak at my mom's house and the only company to call was Andersen. I can't say enough positive things about Mario, who has done numerous jobs for us, both at our home and at our rental properties. Like always, he gets the job done, is friendly & respectful and is one of my favorites.
I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. They also do HVAC work.

Excellent service and honest dealing, going well beyond expectations.

We stumbled on to 4S Plumbing unwittingly through a referral from another plumber that wasn't able to help us. It was a happy accident though. Our plumber Tim was not only professional but an all-around nice guy who was happy to answer questions and look at other plumbing and leak issues around the house.

Tim had come to replace a kitchen faucet, but by the end of the visit our jammed garbage disposal was working and our previously useless upstairs bath had water pressure. Except for the faucet, these were all relatively simple fixes that a less scrupulous plumber could have easily have used to run up the bill. At the end of the day, half of our household maintenance list was checked off, and our bill was less than $400.

As for the backend, Bill responded immediately to our call, scheduling Tim's visit within a few hours. Billing was prompt, and all labor and parts charges were clearly delineated in an email receipt, which we were able to pay online.

In short, 4S is prompt, professional, modern and above all incredibly honest.

Tim, thanks to you, my spouse will be able to take her first hot bath since we moved in.
