Well, I read all these great reviews but unfortunately, I had a very different experience with Mo's work. He was hired to switch out an over the sink bathroom light. The job took less than 20 minutes and he charged $230.00, I felt it was a lot high for 20 mins of work, but I agreed. Anyway, he didn't center the light over the sink, and I was very unhappy with the result and let him know it. He got very defensive telling me that it was impossible to center the light over the sink, without moving the electrical box housing the wires, this would entail him putting a hole in the wall, patching the wall and that would cost an additional $180.00 to do and he didn't have the time that day and would have to come back when he was in the area. That brings the cost now to install to $410.00! I was so upset that after he left, with my mother's help, I removed the light from the wall and located the electrical box behind the fixture. I found that all I had to do was remove the 3 anchoring screws on the holding plate, move the holding plate over an inch to be centered over the sink, reinstall the screws in new hole, then rehang the light, to center over the sink.
The next day, though he told me that he rarely comes to my area, he wanted to come by and center the light, and make that easy $180.00. I told him I no thanks and goodbye.  I don't like feeling that I was taken advantage of, but I was.

We have used Moody Plumbing a few times now and we are very happy with their service. They're extremely responsive, we have always gotten them out to do a repair quickly. They are also very efficient and have always fixed our problem quickly.

All I can say is, if you are looking for a amazing reliable plumbing service you can't go wrong them. They were extremely professional. I was trying to figure out the issue with my plumber for years. Other plumbers could not figure it out. Only seemed like that they were only interested in making a quick buck. But A Solution came out figure out my issue explained everything to me and if I had any questions they answered them. Very cost effective and efficient. You can't go wring with A Solution. I had the opportunity again to use Reeg Plumbing. I wanted to replace my old water heater. Chris called back within minutes to give me a quote and I hired his company again without hesitation. Dennis answered my call promptly and was able to come over the next day to help patch my hardwood floors after I scratched them with my drum set's pedal (get a rug, not a mat). Price was reasonable, especially for giving me some piece of mind.

Oscar and his crew did an amazing job fixing up my broken pipes.  We thought that we had only one remaining broken pipe (out of two known) that needed to be fixed.  

Well, after Oscar repaired the first pipe, we discovered there was another pipe that in the same area that broken as well. Furthermore, when we turned on the water for testing, there was ANOTHER broken pipe in my ceiling, even though that pipe should have been fixed by the previous plumbers last summer. He and his crew didn't hesitate - they immediately ripped out the drywall and found / fixed the last remaining broken pipe.

He was hired to fix one pipe, ended up fixing three(!) AND replace my outdoor faucet!  He recommended that I blow out the remaining water in my pipes with compressed air every winter, and offered to swing by that following Saturday to take care of it.  Incredible service!

It's incredibly hard to find honest, hard-working, and fair priced contractors, especially plumbers - Oscar is one of them.  I highly recommend him.

Patrick and his crew were on time, efficient,  thorough and personable! My toilet and bathtub were backed up due to a broken drain pipe that he had to dig a 4 feet trench along the side of the house to take care of.  I am thankful for this company's services! We had a pretty bad clog in our shower and they thoroughly took care of it. Service was great and price was pretty reasonable. I'd definitely call them again for future issues.

We had a bit of an emergency at the house because we didn't know where the shutoff was and I was in the hospital so I couldn't help. I called and they took care of everything from calling the city to have them come turn it off, to getting someone there same day, and telling us what to buy for replacement. Have came and did a great job installing and then the next day, we still didn't have hot water so I called and Jason walked us through restarting our hot water heater over the phone. Great customer service and attention to detail!! Thank you!

We've found our forever plumber!

Woke up to our sump pump running continuously and producing a really strong electrical smell from the pit.  Unplugged it immediately and first called a different plumbing service that was recommended by a local Facebook group.... That other plumber's answering service said they would have a plumber call me back. I got tired of waiting for them after a while, so I called Right Away who was able to actually dispatch someone *right away* and Jorge arrived within the hour.

He replaced the dead sump, did a check of our entire system and found a related issue, fixed that, and also installed some other parts throughout the house to help keep things flowing smoothly. All of the work was done fast (but not in a way where I felt like he rushed) and for a cost less than an earlier quote I had for just a sump replacement without diagnostic or preventive work.

Jorge happily described all of the work he was doing and showed a real passion for his work and pride of a job well done.

Friendly, patient, passionate, reasonable prices, and no extra charge for working on Saturday!  With overwhelming many options for plumbers in Chicago, I'm glad to have landed on someone I can trust.

Kennedy Plumbing was even worse.  Danny replaced two toilets.  He assumed that because I am elderly and disabled, I would not notice that he switched the fifty dollar seats that came with the toilets with $15 seats that don't even fit.  What is it about plumbers that they want to rip off the disabled and why did Szabo and Kennedy both think I was so stupid?  Not that it matters, but I'm a college professor with a PhD from Notre Dame.  I am appalled thinking how often these rip-off artists must succeed.

I have been dealing with 4S plumbing for few years, every time they provide excellent service that make me come back.

Two days ago we had problem with bathtub faucet leaking issue, I called 4S, they sent great plumber, Marcus, he is so professional and very nice guy, he diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly with very competitive price.

Definitely will keep working with 4S plumbing and I believe they are providing the best plumbing service in Chicago.
