Steve is the professional you want working in your home.  We have worked with him 2 times in 3 years to fill holes that naturally occur in highly trafficked areas.  He also cleans and polishes and makes your floors literally look brand new.  He is magic!  He is a perfectionist - the job is not finished until you, the homeowner, are happy.  Highly recommend.

We have used AZ Classic Floors for a number of projects, they have all turned out amazing!  Daniel is professional and takes great care in his work.  We are very happy!

When we decided to build a custom home, we interviewed over 10 potential builders and as soon as we met Jerry we knew he was the perfect fit for us. From our meeting with Jerry, we immediately felt like we could trust him.  Jerry and Yvonne were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. We are a younger family and this was our first build, so we had a lot of unknowns. They were very supportive and we felt like they were our family supporting us throughout the whole build. Honestly, I don't know how to rate Villagio. I didn't have an appointment and was basically ignored when I walked into the showroom. I do have remodeling needs, but I need to feel the love before signing. No love here. The tile selection seems great, but maybe they could use a Walmart greeter?

We had a cable wiring plate that had come out of the wall. All the wiring was hanging out and we were not able to get  it back in.

We contacted Marcos from the Contreras Services and sent him pictures. He was able to figure out what had to be done and came out the next afternoon.

This was one of the best experiences we have had with having someone come out and work on our home.  Marcos was efficient and knew exactly what to do. He was also very respectful and kind and told us what our options could be.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

We did a full remodel on our house. The original contractor kind of bailed on us and didn't finish some of the work. We called several companies to finish the job for us. Zach and Terrell finished our project in a matter of days. They came out and gave us an estimate and we were fortunate they could fit us in between jobs.

They installed a custom built in electric fireplace with designer touches. The work turned out amazing. In the past year we've probably had over 50 different companies in our house from plumbers to contractors to painters, etc. Peters Family Construction would get our #1 ranking out of all of them.

This company was working on a job a couple of houses down from me. I asked my neighbor what he thought of the company so far, and he had a pretty good experience so I gave them a call. They ended up negotiating my claim with my insurance company and replaced my entire roof and both of my AC units at no cost to me. My insurance company was originally only repairing small sections of my roof after we had a massive hail storm in Glendale.I got to pick a new tile and new color, good bye green roof!! I am so thrilled with the service I received from this company that I decided to take a couple minutes to let you all know. If you have any damage to your home, I would seriously recomend this company.

It's worth notating that Matthew is no longer with the company and I'm guessing that's where the quality has and communication has suffered. Genuinely nice, hard working guys. They worked very long hours with no breaks. Price was better than any of the other bids I received for the job. Communication is really lacking. Upon accepting the bid I was asked to send KGB product/vendor info and to them so KGB which I did. As the project date approached I inquired if the product had been ordered and was told I should order it at this point we are only 4 days away from the project date and by the time I was told to order the product it was no longer available locally and would not be delivered by the project date. I did not want to leave KGB hanging with a canceled job I ran to big box flooring store and picked a product that was locally in stock. Caveat: stair nose pieces are special order and back ordered but at least I have all the flooring ready for the date I committed to. At trio member 1's recommendation I ORDERED EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TOLD TO ORDER we just split the project into two separate jobs as to not cancel original project date. Long story short I knew my stairs would be a pain in the ass and I voiced my concerns and asked for trim details on original walk through as well as when I was left to order product.End result: Unfortunately after I paid them they pointed out where "***** got tired" on the stair cuts so now I have these stairs with trim that I need to either pay to get redone professionally or just look at them everyday as a reminder of where "***** got tired" .  After reaching out to the company they made excuses and told me they should have charged more and gave me a hard time because they had to "work with the "materials I made available" ie the materials they were suppose to order but never did which ended up being the exact materials they told me to order. They set the price I paid it, they sent a long letter itemizing what they should have charged and what they would charge to fix their poor workmanship.Moral of the story: you get what you pay for save the headache and just pay a professional team it's what you'll end up paying to fix their work in the end anyways  and their business model is "DO YOU THINK THAT IF WE HAD TO PULL OFF AGAIN, THE COST WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN QUITE A BIT MORE?" Because doing a good job in the first place isn't implied .

Continuing from 12/07/17...The first time my husband and I met with Darren he was very helpful in educating us about the difference between rectified and unrectified wood plank tile.  Derren made it known he preferred to work with unrectified tile, but would still take on a job and complete quality work using rectified tile.  Derren did say he would charge 50 cents more per square foot if we chose rectified tile.  Derren provided us with vendors he uses for the tile and even suggested a tile he had previously installed.  After a couple of weeks of tile hunting we chose a Marazzi porcelain RECTIFIED tile.  I called Derren and told him we were okay with paying the extra cost for the rectified tile.  Derren assured us the Marazzi tile was a good quality tile and we would be happy with the results.  

Well, the tile comes in, Derren goes to pick up the tile, but returns to our home saying the tile is defective.  Derren believes the tile is "bowed" and encourages us to choose new tile.  Derren again suggests the tile he previously installed for another customer.  We told Derren we would go look for new tile if the tile we selected was defective.  I ask Derren about the return and refund on the tile and if we will have any issues.  Derren advised he would speak with the vendor and call me.  I never heard from Derren, although I left him at least one message.  I would have thought this was a priority being the flooring in our home had already been removed and the amount of money we paid for the tile.  No call.

My husband and I go see the vendor and explain to a very helpful gal we needed to find out about returning the defective tile.  The vendor tells us there will be a restocking fee of $700-750.  I questioned the fee, as Derren said the tile was defective.  The gal immediately said, "it's not defective."  Long story short, the vendor had contacted the manufacturer's local representative who came out, looked at the tile and said the tile was better than specs.  The gal also said they have sold over 80,000sqft of the tile we selected and they have not had any returned!  I have a flashback to checking Derren's Registar of Contractor record (for Harper Stone and Tile) and realize this should have been my first light bulb moment and clue NOT to hire Derren!  His license had previously been expired or suspended for various reasons.  Anyway, my husband calls Derren from the vendor.  No answer.  Message left for Derren to call.

On our way home Derren calls.  He seems bewildered as to why the tile couldn't be returned without a restocking fee and offers to pay $400. Obviousy, he never attempted to call the vendor about the return or he would have already been aware of the fee or maybe he just thought we were stupid, would pay the fee and find another tile.   With that being said, we offered Derren an out and told him we would understand if he didn't want to do the job.  No hard feelings.  Well, Derren's response was that he needed the job. Or, was it he needed to pick up his saw that was still at our home? ( Light bulb moment number two)!!

The next day, Derren shows up late and meets with my husband.  My husband gives Derren a second opportunity to opt out of the job with no hard feelings and addresses our expectations of a quality installation, rectified tile or otherwise.  Derren advised he was still willing to complete the job.  (Mind you, Derren's tile saw had been set up in our garage for the past couple of days while the job was on hold).  Derren continues his work, throws float on the floor in our bedroom and does not smooth out the edges so there is an obvious lip when it drys.  Derren mentioned his grinder was broke.  Derren sits in the bedroom and purposely works vigorously on chipping the tile and then shows my husband how it chips.  Derren quietly walks outside, packs his saw and equipment.  My husband confronts Derren asking him if he was leaving.  Derren says yes.  I don't believe Derren had any intentions of completing the job.  I'm pretty sure he just wanted to get his saw back!!  Derren is told we wanted a refund for work not performed, a reasonable request. An agreement was made on the amount to be returned.  We received partial payment that night, but as previously stated in original review, we waited for the balance to be paid after Christmas because Derren said he did not have the money. (But yet, it was okay for us to have our home in shambles at Christmas time!  I wouldn't call us difficult people, would you?  Derren believes we are)!

So, this was the gist of it!  There were a couple of other shenanigans, but I was out of typing space, so had to shorten up the horrible experience!

In the end, no thanks to Derren (Harper Stone and Tile), but we did end up with beautiful floors and a quality installation!  Should anyone need an honest and reputable contractor who completes quality work, please feel free to message me!  Oh, and we saved money too!!

Okay here is a few of the reason we chose Lumby Concrete. First they called us back. I don't know about you but that is a good sign because some companies won't call you, if your job is two small. Thankfully that was not the case with Lumby.

In fact my call back was with the owner Travis Lumby, and that to me is a bonus. I also appreciated that he was willing to work with me via text, message because I was able to send him photos of the work I wanted done. Okay that is my Second reason of why you should choose Lumby Concrete.

Our third reason we chose Lumby Concrete was because we all want to save money, have the best bid, and have the dream of what you want to become a reality. We wanted a path way put in at our new home from our patio to our side gate. We also wanted the color and texture to match what was currently in place. In Choosing Lumby Concrete we got all of that. Travis was honest, and straight forward on the cost, which was affordable and reasonable for having our project done right.  

Travis and his crew where great to work with, and we would recommend them for any job BIG or SMALL that you may have.

That is bull.  There is no good reason on this earth that the paint is faded except you used cheap paint. House paint should last years without fading. The stucco work was shoddy and completed by one of your employees. You do not stand behind your work and I would NevER do any business with you again.  You come across as a very nice person but you did BAD work on my house.  Lynn Cohen, RN

Gilbert, from Royal Construction Services, was great to work with. He helped me replace 3 wood porch and carport posts at my older home.  Unlike the old posts, the new posts have been installed on post bases, which should help keep them dry and secure for years to come. Gilbert was fast, flexible and affordable.

I am a general contractor in Phoenix with a massive volume of active projects on any given day. After my other carpet guys dropping the ball on me twice in one week, I went to Carpet Depot on a whim hoping for better luck. Adam promptly greeted me as I walked inside, and helped me select a carpet that fit my needs (and my budget) within 3 minutes. No beating around the bush, no trying to steer me in any direction other than exactly what I was there for. Above and beyond service and professionalism. Carpet Depot has just gained my permanent business. Already purchased from them again for the second time in 24 hours. Thank you guys!!

Can't say enough great things about Irving and Modern Innovations. He works fast, does very high quality work with great attention to detail. And at a very fair price. He is very skilled in seemingly every home remodel trade. If you are considering doing any work to your house (big or small) you should definitely give Irving a call

I recently had my Outside patio tiled.  Julio did a great job.  He was on time everyday and was neat & tidy.  Sean, the owner came every morning to check on things and it was a very efficient process.
I will definitely call him for my next project!

Undate to my last review. After many many many issues they finally showed up for the appointment to install. The carpet was installed and they did a nice job. The carpet did not match exactly though so it is a little noticeable. One of the times they canceled, they said my entire order of carpet was not at Lowes when they went to pick it up. They said that part of it was a slightly different shade so I said bring it anyway to avoid being cancelled. They canceled anyway. We waited over a weeks more for Lowes to get the carpet all in  one shade . And then another week to get on the schedule again . Finally when they arrived I expected all the carpet to be the same shade but it was not.

I was out looking for a new Yelp adventure in Surprise. Something new I had never noticed before. I found Henley Floor and Home Pros.

Whaaat? We have been looking for flooring everywhere across town and  there was a flooring business right here in the City of Surprise! I took a peek at their showroom really fast. So many options! We were looking into luxury vinyl and tiles that look like wood. Something low maintenance! I can't wait!

We plan on installing ourselves. The gal in the store was super friendly and answered all of my questions. They even offer cabinetry! We are busy this holiday weekend but have a date planned for this week. I can't wait!

The guy said he wanted to give me an estimate after I provided him all the measurements of kitchen backsplash project I never received a response.
