Best Flooring Contractors in United States

We recently bought a house with very dull and scratched up travertine flooring. My wife and I were going to rip it out and start over with new flooring.

I decided to give Master Stone Care a call to see if they could restore my floors back.  Restoring versus replacing would save me time, money, and headache.

Steve gave me a prompt bid and did an awesome job on my tile. Friends have come over and asked me and my wife "when did you install your new tile?".  It seriously looks brand new!!  It's shiny and polished and the scratches are gone!

We couldn't be happier. Master Stone Care did an outstanding job. Steve is responsive and pays close attention to detail. Thank you Steve for your hard work and bringing our floors to a better than new state!!

We just finished a gut remodel to our house with Integrity Luxury Homes and got LEED Certified. We were extremely pleased and would highly recommend them. They were committed to helping us get our LEED certification at the highest level possible. They went the extra mile to make sure that we will be happy with the outcome for years to come. This tile store has really nice people working there, and tile from reasonable to above average price points to meet clients' needs.  I would say Villagio has the best selection of accent tiles I have seen in the Phoenix area, and trust me, I have seen every tile store!
My husband and I worked with Dakotah, who is a very delightful and PATIENT young lady.  We took months trying to figure out what tile we wanted.  Then I went with a look my husband wanted and I did not.  Don't do that.  Figure out something you both like.  When our installer brought our tile, I hated it.  I could not blame Villagio for my mistake, but I would suggest asking to see additional sample pieces or ordering a few sample tiles before placing your final order.  The one tile in the showroom does not always accurately represent what all the tiles in a full order will look like.  This is true at any tile showroom.  In our case the tile in the showroom had very little pattern.  The actual tiles ranged from almost all white to ones with very large and distinct fake looking patterns, and there were lots and lots of tiles with the same patterns.  Not all tiles will be like that, but learn from my mistake.  
Villagio does not take returns (it is in the contract you sign).  We figured we were stuck with it.  The installer started putting it on the shower walls, and I became more and more depressed.  I finally told them to stop, and we decided to take the loss on the tile and installation to that point.  We donated the remaining tile to Habitat for Humanity.  Expensive lesson learned!
We ended up finding a floor/wall tile at another tile company in Scottsdale. That other place charged shipping on top of the tile price quoted to us, for normal shipping, not expedited shipping.  Villagio does not charge for normal shipping.
An accent tile we bought in our original order from Villagio was the only thing we both loved from that original design choice.  We left that up in the shower, and I ordered more from Dakotah.  Turns out I did not order enough, as I found out when the installers started over this week.  But Garrett, who is my tile contractor's go-to guy at Villagio, somehow managed to come up with not only my reorder, but also the additional amount we needed, as well as a matching backsplash tile, all in time to start my (re) tiling job as scheduled.  He did not add extra charges for the rush delivery (although I imagine they normally do).
All in all, it is definitely worth visiting Villagio for extensive tile choices and friendly, helpful service.  Just be very sure about what you are ordering before placing your order.

We had a cable wiring plate that had come out of the wall. All the wiring was hanging out and we were not able to get  it back in.

We contacted Marcos from the Contreras Services and sent him pictures. He was able to figure out what had to be done and came out the next afternoon.

This was one of the best experiences we have had with having someone come out and work on our home.  Marcos was efficient and knew exactly what to do. He was also very respectful and kind and told us what our options could be.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

We did a full remodel on our house. The original contractor kind of bailed on us and didn't finish some of the work. We called several companies to finish the job for us. Zach and Terrell finished our project in a matter of days. They came out and gave us an estimate and we were fortunate they could fit us in between jobs.

They installed a custom built in electric fireplace with designer touches. The work turned out amazing. In the past year we've probably had over 50 different companies in our house from plumbers to contractors to painters, etc. Peters Family Construction would get our #1 ranking out of all of them.

I rent my home and during the last wind and storm we noticed shingles blown up and leaks in the house. When I talked to my landlord about fixing it she had a fight from the insurance company about patching instead. Well luckily my friend told me about these guys and I told my landlord. Even though this was during the holidays they responded to her message and came out and looked. I have worked with many contractors and have never run into this level of professionalism and service. They handled everything and were very thou rough to investigate all possible problems and causes. They handled insurance paperwork and replacement of everything that was old damage caused by a hail storm in the past that the insurance never fully fixed. Awesome company and I have never been treated with such integrity.. it is great to know this level of commitment to service and workmanship still exists.

This is a great company. They did a beautiful bathroom remodel for us. They gave us a quote and started the next day. They were prompt, always showing up when they said and working daily until the job was complete. There work was excellent! They cleaned up and hauled away debris. I can't say enough about the great job they did. I plan on using them for future projects.

Continuing from 12/07/17...The first time my husband and I met with Darren he was very helpful in educating us about the difference between rectified and unrectified wood plank tile.  Derren made it known he preferred to work with unrectified tile, but would still take on a job and complete quality work using rectified tile.  Derren did say he would charge 50 cents more per square foot if we chose rectified tile.  Derren provided us with vendors he uses for the tile and even suggested a tile he had previously installed.  After a couple of weeks of tile hunting we chose a Marazzi porcelain RECTIFIED tile.  I called Derren and told him we were okay with paying the extra cost for the rectified tile.  Derren assured us the Marazzi tile was a good quality tile and we would be happy with the results.  

Well, the tile comes in, Derren goes to pick up the tile, but returns to our home saying the tile is defective.  Derren believes the tile is "bowed" and encourages us to choose new tile.  Derren again suggests the tile he previously installed for another customer.  We told Derren we would go look for new tile if the tile we selected was defective.  I ask Derren about the return and refund on the tile and if we will have any issues.  Derren advised he would speak with the vendor and call me.  I never heard from Derren, although I left him at least one message.  I would have thought this was a priority being the flooring in our home had already been removed and the amount of money we paid for the tile.  No call.

My husband and I go see the vendor and explain to a very helpful gal we needed to find out about returning the defective tile.  The vendor tells us there will be a restocking fee of $700-750.  I questioned the fee, as Derren said the tile was defective.  The gal immediately said, "it's not defective."  Long story short, the vendor had contacted the manufacturer's local representative who came out, looked at the tile and said the tile was better than specs.  The gal also said they have sold over 80,000sqft of the tile we selected and they have not had any returned!  I have a flashback to checking Derren's Registar of Contractor record (for Harper Stone and Tile) and realize this should have been my first light bulb moment and clue NOT to hire Derren!  His license had previously been expired or suspended for various reasons.  Anyway, my husband calls Derren from the vendor.  No answer.  Message left for Derren to call.

On our way home Derren calls.  He seems bewildered as to why the tile couldn't be returned without a restocking fee and offers to pay $400. Obviousy, he never attempted to call the vendor about the return or he would have already been aware of the fee or maybe he just thought we were stupid, would pay the fee and find another tile.   With that being said, we offered Derren an out and told him we would understand if he didn't want to do the job.  No hard feelings.  Well, Derren's response was that he needed the job. Or, was it he needed to pick up his saw that was still at our home? ( Light bulb moment number two)!!

The next day, Derren shows up late and meets with my husband.  My husband gives Derren a second opportunity to opt out of the job with no hard feelings and addresses our expectations of a quality installation, rectified tile or otherwise.  Derren advised he was still willing to complete the job.  (Mind you, Derren's tile saw had been set up in our garage for the past couple of days while the job was on hold).  Derren continues his work, throws float on the floor in our bedroom and does not smooth out the edges so there is an obvious lip when it drys.  Derren mentioned his grinder was broke.  Derren sits in the bedroom and purposely works vigorously on chipping the tile and then shows my husband how it chips.  Derren quietly walks outside, packs his saw and equipment.  My husband confronts Derren asking him if he was leaving.  Derren says yes.  I don't believe Derren had any intentions of completing the job.  I'm pretty sure he just wanted to get his saw back!!  Derren is told we wanted a refund for work not performed, a reasonable request. An agreement was made on the amount to be returned.  We received partial payment that night, but as previously stated in original review, we waited for the balance to be paid after Christmas because Derren said he did not have the money. (But yet, it was okay for us to have our home in shambles at Christmas time!  I wouldn't call us difficult people, would you?  Derren believes we are)!

So, this was the gist of it!  There were a couple of other shenanigans, but I was out of typing space, so had to shorten up the horrible experience!

In the end, no thanks to Derren (Harper Stone and Tile), but we did end up with beautiful floors and a quality installation!  Should anyone need an honest and reputable contractor who completes quality work, please feel free to message me!  Oh, and we saved money too!!

I cannot say enough good things about Lumby Concrete. Travis was honest from day one about what he could do and he did an outstanding job!! You will not be disappointed!! I'm so happy that I can't stop staring at my concrete :).

Super happy with Ron and Sam coming to my rescue to replace a corroded faucet for the washing machine. Super polite and professional, Sam even cleaned the floor under the washer when he moved it! Will call them again for other repairs and maintenance.

Went to the 32 nd street location last Friday.  Salesperson was helpful, not pushy.

Scheduled my appointment to measure on the following Tuesday. During the store visit, we figured we could do it Saturday. Salesperson got busy Saturday, I told him we could reschedule so he wouldnt have a late night on a Saturday, he said Monday would work .

He never came or contacted me Monday. (I texted him about the appointment, He said texting him was fine and a preference).

I contacted him Tuesday morning, he said he " returned to work Tuesday".  If Monday was not going to work, I wished he just said Tuesday. He asked when I was available Tuesday. I advised 4 pm. That's the last I ever heard from them.

By Tuesday evening, I didnt even feel like its worth trying to call the office etc as I would be leery to try to schedule anything further with them. It's just such a waste of time.

Nice guy - it's just hard when you wait around for someone to be at your home and they don't show or even follow up on your business.

Can't say enough great things about Irving and Modern Innovations. He works fast, does very high quality work with great attention to detail. And at a very fair price. He is very skilled in seemingly every home remodel trade. If you are considering doing any work to your house (big or small) you should definitely give Irving a call

I hired Infinity Pro services to complete a tiling job of our entire home located in San Tan Valley. The completed job came out as promised. I also referred the owner (Sean) to our neighbor, who had infinity pro redo their shower tile flooring. But before I hired this company to install our new flooring, I expressed to Sean that I was in need of a company that was willing to complete another full house of tiling which was located 6 miles down the street, which then turns into Florence. He said he would be willing to complete both of my tiling job. Fast forward a few months, we reached out to Sean for a quote, it took him weeks for a response. And in his text message he stated "my guys don't want to make the drive" meaning his workers. So just an FYI infinity pro services isn't willing to do work in San Tan Valley/Florence.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. They put in a brand new custom shower with a rain head shower and light as an upgrade all at an affordable price. The only downside was that the time line got extended a few times due to weather affecting some of their other projects, but that should be expected in any type of renovation. They were very responsive and informed us days and times they were going to show up. All in all, very happy with the service.

Eclipse flooring just installed carpet in our Master bedroom. They did a fantastic job. Both guys were very polite and professional. I am planning on definitely use them in the future .

Why would a business come to your home, spend an hour measuring for new flooring throughout your home and not bother to send you a quote?
I'm wondering that myself. Even if they sent one after 9 days, they would not get my business. It makes you feel slighted. Can't trust them.

The guy said he wanted to give me an estimate after I provided him all the measurements of kitchen backsplash project I never received a response.
