Best Flooring Contractors in United States

My realtor recommended Master Stone Care to repair our travertine floor. Steven came out on short notice to give us a quote. He gave us a quote on repairs but recommended that we also consider having the floor polished and sealed. Based on a quote I received two years ago, I knew his price was more than fair.

He squeezed our project in right before he started a new one and it was well worth the money. The floor looks good as new. Our only complaint is that we took so long to do it in the first place. I wish I had before and after photos because the difference is astounding! Would highly recommend him!

They were committed to helping us get our LEED certification at the highest level possible. They went the extra mile to make sure that we will be happy with the outcome for years to come. Jerry is professional, hard-working, and friendly. He is great at negotiating the best price and keeps a close watch on the sub's he is managing. Great GC!

This tile store has really nice people working there, and tile from reasonable to above average price points to meet clients' needs.  I would say Villagio has the best selection of accent tiles I have seen in the Phoenix area, and trust me, I have seen every tile store!
My husband and I worked with Dakotah, who is a very delightful and PATIENT young lady.  We took months trying to figure out what tile we wanted.  Then I went with a look my husband wanted and I did not.  Don't do that.  Figure out something you both like.  When our installer brought our tile, I hated it.  I could not blame Villagio for my mistake, but I would suggest asking to see additional sample pieces or ordering a few sample tiles before placing your final order.  The one tile in the showroom does not always accurately represent what all the tiles in a full order will look like.  This is true at any tile showroom.  In our case the tile in the showroom had very little pattern.  The actual tiles ranged from almost all white to ones with very large and distinct fake looking patterns, and there were lots and lots of tiles with the same patterns.  Not all tiles will be like that, but learn from my mistake.  
Villagio does not take returns (it is in the contract you sign).  We figured we were stuck with it.  The installer started putting it on the shower walls, and I became more and more depressed.  I finally told them to stop, and we decided to take the loss on the tile and installation to that point.  We donated the remaining tile to Habitat for Humanity.  Expensive lesson learned!
We ended up finding a floor/wall tile at another tile company in Scottsdale. That other place charged shipping on top of the tile price quoted to us, for normal shipping, not expedited shipping.  Villagio does not charge for normal shipping.
An accent tile we bought in our original order from Villagio was the only thing we both loved from that original design choice.  We left that up in the shower, and I ordered more from Dakotah.  Turns out I did not order enough, as I found out when the installers started over this week.  But Garrett, who is my tile contractor's go-to guy at Villagio, somehow managed to come up with not only my reorder, but also the additional amount we needed, as well as a matching backsplash tile, all in time to start my (re) tiling job as scheduled.  He did not add extra charges for the rush delivery (although I imagine they normally do).
All in all, it is definitely worth visiting Villagio for extensive tile choices and friendly, helpful service.  Just be very sure about what you are ordering before placing your order.

We had a cable wiring plate that had come out of the wall. All the wiring was hanging out and we were not able to get  it back in.

We contacted Marcos from the Contreras Services and sent him pictures. He was able to figure out what had to be done and came out the next afternoon.

This was one of the best experiences we have had with having someone come out and work on our home.  Marcos was efficient and knew exactly what to do. He was also very respectful and kind and told us what our options could be.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

We did a full remodel on our house. The original contractor kind of bailed on us and didn't finish some of the work. We called several companies to finish the job for us. Zach and Terrell finished our project in a matter of days. They came out and gave us an estimate and we were fortunate they could fit us in between jobs.

They installed a custom built in electric fireplace with designer touches. The work turned out amazing. In the past year we've probably had over 50 different companies in our house from plumbers to contractors to painters, etc. Peters Family Construction would get our #1 ranking out of all of them.

I have hired The Other Brothers to do various repairs around our home from fixing a roof that lost some tiles during a dust storm to replacing the vacuum breaking that broke and flood our yard.  There hasn't been a job yet they couldn't do for me and my 19 year old house. I appreciate how quickly I have received service after calling for "help."  The price paid is worth the service and knowing the job is done right. I have recommended The Other Brothers to friends, family and co-workers.  They have all experienced the same outstanding service. Other Brothers Construction deserve an A++ rating!!!

This is a great company. They did a beautiful bathroom remodel for us. They gave us a quote and started the next day. They were prompt, always showing up when they said and working daily until the job was complete. There work was excellent! They cleaned up and hauled away debris. I can't say enough about the great job they did. I plan on using them for future projects.

Harper Stone and Tile is the most amazing company. Perfect craftsmanship, very communicative, and Derren (the owner) is so detail oriented. Please see the pictures of our new guest shower. Everything lines up beautifully and looks phenomenal. Please notice the detail in the pattern, all grout lines are lined up flawlessly. The experience was outstanding. Derren and his team took great care to work in a very clean manner and even provided a paper cover to and from the bathroom so nothing dirty ever came in contact with our floors. I would highly recommend Harper Stone and Tile. I can't wait to do our master bathroom with Harper Stone and Tile in the future.

We contact Lumby Concrete to help us with a sidewalk grading issue.  Our sidewalk was sloped towards the home and during our monsoon rains, water would seep up into the walls.  Travis came out and assessed our sidewalk, he immediately noticed the issue and a couple others we didn't notice.  

On April 28, 2020, Travis and his crew setup our site for the pour the following day.  They even worked around our AC company that had to remove the AC unit so the concrete could be replaced.  Lumby Concrete was professional, punctual and did an exceptional job on our new concrete and slight regrading.

We waited to write this review until we had our first monsoon rain and the work is spot on, we would highly recommend Lumby Concrete to any friend or family member.

What a great job and a good price. Mark and his crew just painted the interior of our house and it looks great. They go above and beyond, they are personable and provide a high level of service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Super happy with Ron and Sam coming to my rescue to replace a corroded faucet for the washing machine. Super polite and professional, Sam even cleaned the floor under the washer when he moved it! Will call them again for other repairs and maintenance.

Looked for carpet from big box stores, other carpet dealers, and was not happy.  Went to Carpet Depot and met David.  He was an outstanding sales person and took the time to educate me on their products.  He even gave me a free sample.  Based on price and quality, I placed a larger order.  The two installers were excellent and friendly.  They did an outstanding job and are true craftsmen.  Thank you all for the very positive experience.  I will recommend you to all of the friends and use you again on my next project!

Irving did a great job installing flooring in our laundry room and helping move the big appliances in there. It was quick and good quality work. He also assisted us with installing closet shelves and what not for two closets. Came out great again.

Sean and his team were great!  Super responsive, competitive quote, flexible scheduling and an all around pleasure.  They did great work, matched up paint we needed perfectly.  Thanks Sean!

Would definitely use again. He mounted our 42inch TV and it was fast + high quality service. Definitely recommend and you can't beat the price!

We contracted with Eclipse Flooring through Lowes for installation of kitchen tiles.  It was a disaster all around.  - Tiles installed incorrectly/crookedly - Grout lines not cleaned up/grout left on tiles - Edging not installed  

The end result was an extremely poor install.  I have been trying to make contact with Eclipse since November - first through Lowes, then directly.  The don't return phone calls.  

DO NOT USE ELCIPSE FLOORING.  If you are looking for an installer, ask Lowe's to recommend another vendor.

Do not recommend at all! the owner is a smart ass that does not get back to you with quotes total waste of time and overpriced

My experience with A2Z was the worst! I have been remodeling my house for a year with different contractors and have sent several referrals to all of them. I would never recommend A2Z. Friday, April 8th, my husband called Mercy and asked if she wanted us to drop off more of the deposit because we would be moving out of our house to help get the job done faster (6 of us and 2 dogs). She says no they can get it on Monday when we start. They were scheduled to begin work on Monday, April 11th,  and that morning Mercy sends the message that they will not be showing up but possibly start Wednesday, April 13th.

Wednesday no-show, so I informed A2Z that the communication has been horrible! Mercy's comment back was, "no one told you to move out of your house" and then some other BS about us being at a cheaper rate because we were supposed to purchase product from them. My husband mentioned several times that we would be moving out. We were told the new start date is Monday 25th. I still did not hear anything from them and after several calls and texts, (message at 6:24 am, call her at 8:00 am, again at 8:15 am, and then text at 8:24 am) Mercy finally responds and says someone will be at my house between 9-10 am. Unfortunately, they only send one person which causes longer delays.

Thursday, April 21st, I asked the worker when the expected completion would be so that I can get a cleaning crew and he informs me since working alone (not his fault) it would not be completed until April 28th or 29th. He had a helper for one day, during the week of the demo, but was pulled to go to another job (I felt like this was intentional since A2Z is aware of our situation). Finally, during the week of installation, a second worker arrives, and work is completed on April 28th.

In summary, I moved out of the house a week earlier than needed, which could have been avoided, due to a lack of communication. Then stayed out for two more weeks because they sent one worker for the majority of the time.

This has been the worst experience ever and don't use this company.
