Eclipse Flooring

First off, after entering into a contract with LOWES for new bedroom carpet ,  and then learning our installation will be by Eclipse Flooring. We found ourselves to be horrified to see the terrible reviews on them here at Yelp! My god!, what have we gotten ourselves into, and so many Bad Reviews!!

I am glad to report, it was a wonderful experience for us. From purchase to installation only three weeks, unbelievable! The communication was excellent , every step of the way. Eric, Flooring Dept,  at LOWES Casa Grande , was very knowledgeable, and we had no trouble getting the exact carpet/pad we wanted.  He answered all our questions.  Erica & Kelli, LOWES , kept us informed of our progress . Melanie, at Eclipse, had the measuring person set up and he was here a few days later.  And when the carpet came in she came thru with an early installation date, and sent over Ithan, the installer.  He did just an excellent job on the installation, and there was no clean-up, when he left! he even vacuumed the new rug.

We got the quality we wanted, a perfect match to what we ordered, for PRICE WE WERE QUOTED.  I can't say anything bad about  the LOWES Carpet Dept, Casa Grande,  OR ECLIPESE FLOORING, Phoenix , our experience was wonderful, and would highly recommend them .

My experience with Lowes and Eclipse was a nightmare .  None of the lines lined up with the flooring . I will spare you the details , suffice to say I filed a complaint with the Arizona License Contractors board when the floor buckled less than a year after they installed its.

Eclipsed agreed to replace my floor ...this time with tile .  They sent their best HECTOR AND OSCAR .   Do not let anyone else do your tile installation if you go through lowes .    I HAD NO LESS THAT 7-8 eclipse employees looking and trying to fix the first mess .  None of them any good .  They just wanted to get me to shut up.      Hector  and Oscar know what they are doing , are perfectionist and have great work ethic .  Again , insist they do your tile floor or else you will be very upset with their other installers .  Just read their reviews .  Horrible .

Eclipse Flooring partnered with Lowes to install Mosaic Tile Backsplash in our kitchen.  Orlando, the installer did a great job (so much so that we gave him a $100.00 cash tip).  However, once he left we discovered that three of our electrical outlets along the backsplash no longer worked.  We called Eclipse Flooring office and they said they would send a Manager out.  He came out and inspected and that is where it ended.  No more help and false promises to fix it and broken appointments.  My brother, who is a General Contractor in New York, happened to be visiting us and fixed the issue.  Stay away from Eclipse Flooring.  I hope Orlando finds a job with a reputable company.

Eclipse Flooring is the licensed Lowes installer for flooring in our area and we had the whole 1700 sf house done , which included removing about 600sf of ceramic tile and moving all the furniture . Rafael was the main guy , he had his brother in law after the first day helping. He made suggestions that helped decide which direction the flooring would run, and suggested to do new baseboards, (something my wife had wanted for some time) to make things go quicker since they wouldn't have to worry about carefully taking the old ones off. Made sense and helped them finish quicker.  Hard working stayed late to get things done to where the estimate was for 6-8 days, he was done by 6pm on Friday, 5 days the installation included new baseboards being cut and installed.
The finished flooring is awesome and we are very pleased with the results.

Their installers stole a firearm out of our house while installing carpet.  I should have known there was an issue when I saw the closet door closed, assumed they needed the door closed.  Eclipse managers would not return calls, there position is installers said they did not do it, have a nice day.  If eclipse was the last flooring installer in the world, I would walk on concrete.

4 bedroom installation by one man was amazing to watch. It was professional from start to finish. I rate this a 10  and recommend eclipse flooring to everyone..

Miguel was knowledgeable about my floor situation and did a really great job right down to the small details like baseboards and trim.  I'm really happy with the result.

_negative stars. Eclipse flooring, is a horrible company, and Lowes should be ashamed of themselves for partnering with this company.

No one should buy flooring from Lowes again.  Lowes has done nothing to make our situation right except to blame the installers. The installers are clueless, and can't get a job completed in a timely manner. I know that good help is hard to find and to keep, but don't pass that on to the client.

Again, boycott Lowes for flooring.

87 year old Man no longer able to stay in his home after reaching a period of difficulty in his life after his wife Died a few years ago. Lived in house for 24 years and now its time to clean up and get it ready to sell to a new owner who will adore it as much as the current owners did for 24 years.

Measurement guy comes out and is fantastic. Very nice and Knowledgeable and does what he came out to do. The Next day we get the call from Lowes regarding measurements etc. Good news official measurements were less than the quick run done to see what to expect. Then comes the notes on carpet. Carpet is considered too dirty that they refuse to pull the carpet and say the owner needs to not only pull the carpet but also dispose of the carpet. All that's supposed to be part of the "lowes deal" Say they will pull about 20% of the carpet and dispose of that 20% but the other 80% is tough shit do it yourself.

"Potential Health Hazard" they say. Its 24 year old carpet that's been walked on and god knows what else. Its in 24 year old condition. Its why Carpet installers always wear masks etc. because even brand new carpet can have "health hazard" chemicals etc. tried to find some middle ground and offered to have professionals come in and clean 24 year old carpet to the best they can. Same response more or less. Tough shit. No attempt at empathy or  even an attempt to find a middle ground. 87 year old man needs to spend thousands more pulling a carpet because the carpet installer who is supposed to do it claims its too dangerous.

24 year old Carpet for Christ sake so no shit its dirty and needs to be sent to the dump. If it was in amazing shape it would not be being replaced in the first place. Even someone from Lowes Corporate called Eclipse trying to work something out and they got nowhere. I get the carpet seen much better days but when we even offer to have it cleaned before they come in and still refuse yet still want that full $4000 dollars while telling us to do half the work ourselves. All I can say is Shitty Company.

We contracted with Eclipse Flooring through Lowes for installation of kitchen tiles.  It was a disaster all around.  - Tiles installed incorrectly/crookedly - Grout lines not cleaned up/grout left on tiles - Edging not installed  

The end result was an extremely poor install.  I have been trying to make contact with Eclipse since November - first through Lowes, then directly.  The don't return phone calls.  

DO NOT USE ELCIPSE FLOORING.  If you are looking for an installer, ask Lowe's to recommend another vendor.

Please save yourself aggravation and do not use these people.  We contracted through Lowe's for tile flooring installation and it's been a nightmare - they don't show up, leave jobs half finished, poor communication.  I can't believe Lowe's uses them - it's bizarre.  Save yourself aggravation and use someone else.

We recently ordered carpet from Lowes at the Carefree Highway/Cave Creek location. We then received a text from the designated installer Eclipse Flooring. We were horrified to see the terrible reviews on them at Yelp.  We immediately called Eclipse to tell them of our concerns based on their reviews and the completion of the installation- patterned carpet, angled rooms, and dozens of stairs. They promised to send their best installer and they did! Jose' Francisco Luca and his son did a fantastic job!  He recalculated the installation because Lowes computer layouts were for a standard carpet, not patterned.  Jose' is an artist- not one visible seam and a continuous pattern throughout. Good man, great personality, and professional carpet installer. We highly recommend him and his son, and suggest you request them for your installation.

I would give a rating less than one star if possible. after purchasing the carpet they canceled three times due to family emergencies to install carpet over two months later they finally showed up. That is after I had removed the furniture twice out of the room as they did not cancel until the night prior. Also I had ordered an extra 40 sq feet so that there would be remnants in case of replacing partial carpet later. After install the installer said there were no remnants left I find that very hard to believe. So now I have no carpet for back up in case of a permanent stain. I have complained to Lowes  locally and to their corporate office and from the other readers it's obvious that Eclipse flooring is a terrible service to use. I would never order again from Lowe's if they are using the same carpet installer. Terrible customer service!

Purchased carpet through Lowes.   Three years latter the carpet is bunched all over and needs to be re-stretched.  Obviously not installed correctly.  I have never had carpet look like this that was so new.

Eclipse flooring just installed carpet in our Master bedroom. They did a fantastic job. Both guys were very polite and professional. I am planning on definitely use them in the future .

Absoutly the worse. Another Lowe's flooring install, they are the the third party coordinator that turns around and sub contracts locally. Their customer service is horrible, they lie to you to buy time. We had both carpet installed and tile. The first day of tile we were called an hour and half after they were to show up, being told that the installers  truck broke down and they would be here in the morning....ok, do you need to have a truck when all the materials are here? ? Someone else could have come? Get over that and let it slide, the next day, again they call me, and say the installer had to finish the job from yesterday, he should be done today, and can probably be here tomorrow (wait, I was the job from yesterday), wouldn't you know that you didn't finish the current job and would need to the day you called out cause your truck was broken? Even if one was a lie, don't you keep notes to keep track of what you told a customer? Or better yet, if a local contractor keeps giving you this as a reason, as the outsourcer, wouldn't you pull the job back and give it someone else?

Undate to my last review. After many many many issues they finally showed up for the appointment to install. The carpet was installed and they did a nice job. The carpet did not match exactly though so it is a little noticeable. One of the times they canceled, they said my entire order of carpet was not at Lowes when they went to pick it up. They said that part of it was a slightly different shade so I said bring it anyway to avoid being cancelled. They canceled anyway. We waited over a weeks more for Lowes to get the carpet all in  one shade . And then another week to get on the schedule again . Finally when they arrived I expected all the carpet to be the same shade but it was not.

Eclipse flooring is easily the worst, least dependable company I have ever used.  I finally after 2 months, several cancelations, a visit from 2 managers/inspectors and installers who show up without materials, excuse after excuse for a tiny kitchen job. Eclipse wasted DAYS of my time. Lowes needs to eliminate them as a contractor and vet potential contractors and employees a lot better if they do at all . Also Lowes needs to stop contracting Phoenix AZ installers and sending them to Tucson. Lowes has  lost my business.

Purchased carpet through Lowes and they subcontracted the install to Eclipse Flooring in Phoenix. When I say the whole experience was a disaster I am not exaggerating. The carpet took three times as long to arrive as promised (ok, I get it COVID). But, then once the carpet was here, they rescheduled me three times to install. Excuse after excuse. I won't get into details about all the hassles and the rude behavior but suffice to say there is absolutely no accountability what so ever. Lowes gave us $600 credit to for the hassle, but they have no control over the situation because Eclipse is a subcontractor.  Shame on Lowes for using such a terrible company. There are so many bad reviews on Google. I was surprised I was the first on Yelp. The carpet finally got installed but it wasn't worth all the aggravation. Stay as far away from Eclipse Flooring as possible. They do not care one bit about customers.
