Very impressed.  Giovanni was friendly and informative, and spent a lot of time considering my situation.  The water pressure in my kitchen sink had become unacceptably low, and he was able to figure out that the touch sensor mechanism associated with the faucet was likely causing a bottleneck in the flow (probably from calcium buildup).  After simply detaching that piece, the water pressure jumped back to normal.

He also gave me a lot of good information about other issues related to hot water recirculation pumps and water softeners.  Cost of the visit was just his standard service fee, which was a very reasonable $89.

It's hard to find a skilled and trustworthy plumber -- I plan to stick with SJ Drain and Main!

Showed up on time and with a mask. Helped figure out the issue and worked quickly to resolve it. Hopefully no plumbing issues for awhile but if anything pops up for sure it will another call to EJ Plumbing.

My toilet fill valve was not working. Since my toilet was not easy to unscrew the valve, I do not have good tools and strength to replace the fill valve myself. I am happy to called up Handy Rooter & Plumbing again. This time, they sent Vu to help me fix it.  Vu is very helpful and quick at the work. I can see it is very difficult to change the fill valve since my bathroom is tiny space for him and there is not much room for him to see the screw. Vu is very technical and good to manage the difficult job and replaced the fill valve for me. Now my toilet is working good and back to normal!

I had a Grohmix 34 436 that was dripping. I had previously hired a handyman who could not fix it. So I was in a bind if it was ever possible to fix it. It needed the 0835500M SHUT-OFF VALVE to be replaced.

I initiated contact with Mike on Yelp. After a brief conversation on text, I called him. He sounded confident and I decided to hire him. He arrived on a Sunday afternoon and worked hard to fix the issue. His pricing was fair and reasonable. I will hire mike again, no hesiatation. It is rare to see such work ethic. I used Khoa's services for quite a few plumbing issues in my home in the bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, and additionally for the water heater and sprinkler valves.

Khoa is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and I believe has a very competitive rate. He has good communication skills for his work, which I think is very important as you need to understand the issue and how it's going to be fixed.

After some initial messaging through Yelp, as agreed, he came right on time for analyzing the issue and provide the estimate. He provides an estimate on an official looking paper, which increased my confidence. The final price I paid was inline with the estimate he had provided beforehand.

We agreed on the day the work would be done, and he came right on time, got to work right away without wasting time. He was well prepared.

On the day of the work, it turned out there were some additional non-trivial things that needed to be done. He provided a very good estimate for those things as well and even agreed to get the parts needed right away.

After the work was done, he messaged the next day to make sure everything was running fine.

He has a 3-month warranty for the issues he has fixed.

All in all this was an awesome plumbing experience. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for any future plumbing issues.

I have used them two times since I have found them here.

First time was cleaning my kitchen drain pipe. Almost all home owners would not clean it until there was a problem. If you just purchase an old home, then I recommend you call them over to clean your drains for you.

I tried all the over-the-counter drain cleaning solutions, baking soda and vinegar and a pot of boiling water, but none of them worked when draining was slow. After Todd came by on time as scheduled, he asked me about the problem, then he checked methodically. He patiently explained to me what he was doing and he recommended the power clean the drain at the end. I could see all the calcium deposits that came out of the drain cleanout. I saw a bag load of these deposits after they had picked up afterward. It turned out the harder the water from the municipal district, the more calcium deposit you will see in your drainage pipes.

Because of Todd and his team's professionalism, I decided to call them back to change my main water faucet to a modern lever kind. They completed the job to my satisfaction with the same professionalism.

Both times, their prices were reasonable; they are very friendly, on-time and stand behind their jobs to complete to your satisfaction.

I will call them again for my future plumbing need.

Our hot water was not working consistently so reached out to Handy plumbing. They sent Marvin Gonzalez the same day. He explained us the problem and advised to do a maintenance service for our tankless heater. He gave a reasonable estimate and came the next day to do the work. They showed us before and after pictures and did a great job at cleaning the heater. Highly recommend this company.

My toilet was fixed less 10 mins. The water flowed so slow and it was hard to flush at first, the flapperball was replaced with new one and everything is functioning like a brand new toilet now. Owner told me the original one was not Kohler's but he will replace with Kohler's one. He'a so nice! (I curse you homebuilder!)
He charges me $20 less on material. Highly recommended and we'll use his service again!

Marlon was prompt in coming for assessment of the problem and providing a free quote. Subsequently, we scheduled an appointment for the job, which he didn't show. He contacted stating that he came by but no one answered the door. There was someone waiting for him at that time, sitting about 5 feet from the front door, but I gave Marlon the benefit of the doubt and agreed to reschedule. He again did not show up, and again stated that no one answered the door. My family member saw the truck with his company logo pulled up, stopped for a minute without anyone getting out, and drove off. So I decided to get another quote from another company after a whole week was wasted waiting for Marlon. That was when I finally understood why he didn't want to do the job. He misdiagnosed the problem. The other company fixed the real problem, which would've persisted with the solution that Marlon had suggested. I have to give him credit in perhaps realizing the misdiagnosis, and not wanting to do the job wrong, hence I gave the 2 stars instead of minimum 1. However, he should have been honest about it. There was no need to mislead me and wasted so much time. I had to take additional time of from work because of the wasted week.

Replaced the shutoff valve of fridge quickly. Very responsive and very reasonably priced!

I needed to get new plumbing for my refrigerator. They responded quickly and got the job done. I was very satisfied.

Steve did a good job on my project. He come to check when I talked to him in 1 hour. He provide the better solution to install the drain line for my water softener. He is responsible and efficient to evaluate my project.

Responded really fast. Price was acceptable. They helped inspect every shower drain and suggested what was required to do unclogging. Once of the drain was so clogged that 20 min was spent on it. But they eventually did it.

I would recommend their unclogging service.

Eddie and his team are the best plumbing team we have ever worked with. We had several issues with our toilets and kitchen - leaky faucets, slow drains, backups, etc. Eddie and his team were very responsive. They came out within a few hours and were extremely professional and thorough. Cleaned up the work areas nicely after they were done. They are very reasonably priced and provide high quality service. We used Crown Plumbing to re-do our main sewer line a while back and to install a water softener more recently. The company does solid work and their service is really good. We only had good experiences with the people they sent to do the jobs. We definitely recommend.

My guy Eddie showed up at my house at 11 pm , My father was stressing cause he usually the one who fix stuff around the house , but he called quits on this one . Called Eddie and he latterly showed up in 20 min . I highly appreciate his service .

Kiet did a great job. He showed up on time and quickly diagnosed my bathroom tub drain clog issue. Hard to image what accumulates in the drain over the many years. Everything was done in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend Kiet for future jobs.

We only have good things to say about Affordable plumbing!  Our toilet had been backing up regularly, and Mr. Khan came and using a camera, he figured out that roots had grown into our sewer pipe.  He replaced our pipe and we are very pleased with the results.  Mr. Khan and his crew were very polite, on-time, they explained things to us as they did the work.  They had to dig up part of our yard to access the sewer pipe, and they made sure to clean up after themselves, putting our grass back and leaving it in relatively the same condition it was prior to them coming.  Mr. Khan even went above and beyond by helping to change our bathtub overflow at no extra charge.  Thank you!

Ed was responsive and on target with suggestions on how to fix a toilet that wasn't flushing. It saved us a lot of headaches and wasted time.
