Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA

I called San Jose Drain and Main this morning at around 8:30, and they told me they'd be able to see me between 10am-12pm.  After looking through yelp and noticing San Jose Drain and Main only had 5 star reviews, i decided to call the other company I set an appointment with before calling San Jose Drain and Main to tell them not to come.  Boy am I glad I did.

Giovani helped me clean my main line blockage as well as a secondary sink cloggage in my son's bathroom.  How do i put this.  He was awesome!  A complete gentlemen and really took time to explain what was going on.  Extremely courteous.  This does not happen usually for people in this field!  Cannot underscore how great of an experience this was.  feel free to PM me if you have any questions.  Giovani will be the only guy I call in the future.  I highly recommend him.

Byron and his teammate did an excellent job on a short notice. Communication was easy and professional. Speed and quality are excellent. They messaged me when technicians were on the way and we appreciate such heads up.

Trieu is definitely a consummate professional. He was able to come by much earlier than quoted over the phone, and made sure to make contact with us first to see if this would be ok. He was quick, courteous, and left the work site cleaner than it was before he even arrived. I'll definitely give him a call for all future plumbing needs.

*Additional points for being the only plumber who was able to come out the day of the problem, and all for a reasonable price.

Michael was great - responded very quickly and worked really hard to come up with a solution for me. Michael replaced a kitchen faucet - I had pre-purchased an item, and he did the install while I ran to the parts store for a fix for my bathroom faucet. Very quick.  The bigger problem was the leaky tub faucet. The fixtures were very old and getting the parts was a big issue. Michael showed me all the work he did to solve the problem and checked with me about pricing and purchasing replacements. He had planned to return on a second day to cut into the wall to fix the leak. He ended up finding the proper stem for my faucet at a different shop, and checked with me before ordering - he came back sooner to finish the job than planned. Always very polite and respectful. For a single woman this is very important. Would definitely call him again for any plumbing issue. Was hoping he did irrigation...sadly no.

Khoa is very knowledgeable and genuine. We lost hot water in one of our showers and he came and fixed it. He advised that it could be temporary but didn't want to cut our marbel slab walls if it wasn't needed. He said If you lose hot water again, call me and I will then do the major fix. Fast forward 6 weeks,  we lost hot water again. We called Khao he came out same day and fixed our hot water at no charge. I tried to pay his gas and he wouldn't accept my money. He still didn't do the major fix because he had researched another fix. We are trying to figure out how to fix the issue without having to cut or bring down the marble slabs which would we be expensive to replace. We still have hot water in our shower, yay! I appreciate Khao being transparent and honest through this entire process. He's very professional but personable at the same time. Definitely recommend Capital Plumbing!

Woke up this morning (Sunday) and our water wouldn't get hot. I called as soon as they opened and they were here in the next couple hours. They quickly found the problem and quoted us a price. We went ahead with the repair and they had the parts with them and fixed it quickly. The two men sent explained why they believed the parts wore out and what we can do to prevent it from happening again. They were super helpful and very reasonably priced. Stellar customer service. Someone is always checking yelp messages. I got stuck in traffic and was going to be late to the work site I needed them at and they were very nice about it. They used the time to go get supplies so that I wouldn't lose my appointment. The guys that showed up to do the work were very knowledgeable and they finished quickly.

They dont value regular customers. Price quoted was too high so i decided not to use their services

I needed a sewer drain unclogged, on New Year's Eve.   He came out in under an hour on the same day, got it done faster than I've ever experienced with a plumber, from need to completion!   Rates were lower than almost all the other quotes from Yelp too!   Nice guy, wore a mask, never had to step into the house to get the job done.

My pipeline was clogged, and waste coming back to the bathtub and I need this issue to resolved ASAP so I went on Yelp to find a plumber that can help me fix the issue on the same day. I message 7 (Yelp helps by emailing to other plumbers as well). Steven from City Of Sewer was the quickest to respond. Given a decent quote that I felt reasonable, I requested them to come out to fix the clogged.

Thanh from City Of Sewer was able to unclog the pipe, but mention that the pipe from the house to the Main Sewer is offset/broken, which caused the clogged. I asked them for a quote, and ask them when can they start. After receiving the written quote from Steven, I requested them to start the project. Steven was able to submit the permit and have it ready to go on the same day. The team started the project on 5/23 and it finished within 5-6 hours timeframe, today (5/24/2021) we are just waiting for the City Inspector to come and pass the project so that we can close the holes.

Overall, great experience, very fast response time, getting permit and having inspector comes out fairly quickly, good price, and bunch of friendly workers.

Work City Of Sewer Did: Install 2 cleanouts, and replace the damaged pipe starting from the garage to the gate. Roughly 15-20 foot long.

Eddie is the simply the best.  He is friendly, on-time, professional, and knows his stuff.  He is very fair with his pricing on labor and parts for the job that he does.  I will continue to work with Eddie on any future plumbing issues.  And best of all, he is local business owner not a franchise.  In this case, my house had a number of plumbing issues, drain blockage in the master bathroom, master shower and in the kitchen.  During this Covid pandemic, he comes in with mask, gloves, and booties and in this hot weather, he was able to quickly diagnose the issues and used his snaking machines (using both bigger diameter and smaller diameter machine) to clear the blockage.  He also found that the previous owner had done a incorrect repair job on the plumbing under the sink of the master bathroom sink and he re-did the plumbing correctly.  He worked on other small plumbing issues without charging anything.  All very much appreciated.   So I highly recommend Eddie for any plumbing issues.  Thanks again!  Eddie.

Discovered a sewage leak under the house, called Crown. Shane was out right away and made his diagnosis. Came back 8:30 the next morning with Ramondo.

They got to work. Finished in about three hours. They left the house just like they found it. Also took excellent pictures so I didn't have to get down in the crawl space to see what they had done.

Woke up yesterday morning with both toilets not flushing...with a family of 4 sheltered in place!  After panicking about how we would be able to cope  in the midst of this crisis without toilets I called Kahn (who has been out to our house a couple of times the last 6 years and done a great job) at 9:00 a.m.

Kahn immediately answered, and after discussing our issues he was able to send his brother Eddie and another worker out to snake our line.  They arrived at 11, worked for 30 minutes (with masks and being respectful of the current situation) and they were able to fix the issue.  Words can't express how HUGE it was to get this problem resolved right away, given all of our current situations.  The cost to come out was reasonable, and I'll never forget how quickly they responded!  Thank you Kahn, Eddie, and AAA!

I called Drain Masters based on the over whelming high reviews from the yelp community.   After describing  my plumbing problem (shower drain backup/slow draining that was also causing bubbling up in toilet), Edward of Drain Master, without hesitation provided a clear general assessment and what would be needed to fix my problem.   What I was impressed with was his willingness to be so forthright with useful information, not hedging or cloaking for later opportunities to take advantage.
He was honest -- even that what he suggested I first call my HOA -- would possibly  not bring him the business.   On the other hand, I gave the same problem explanation to two other companies, one  quoted what seemed an very high  price just to come out to investigate with additional costs and the other quoted two separate prices to unclog the shower and the toilet -- even that they both go through the same main drain.  I realize  we consumers don't know much but we are not idiots!  So in closing, Edward of Drain Master was right, it was my HOA responsibility.   As a property owner it is inevitable that I will have a plumbing problem that will not fall on the HOA and I will definitely call  Drain Master.   You should too.
