Quick response and good rates! I set up an appointment for the next few days so there was no rush. The tech was able to work outside at a cleanout,  so no worry about him coming inside and meeting our Lab/Husky mix. He was persistent,  yet patient- traits hard to find these days... but GREATLY APPRECIATED.

This is the first Yelp review I've ever written -- good or bad -- and it's because I'm very disappointed with E-J Plumbing's response to my problem with their workmanship.

A while back, they installed a new Delta kitchen faucet for me; it's loose, which can go unnoticed. Their response when I called this week to ask them to spend five minutes to correct the problem ? That will be a $150 minimum visit charge since it's beyond 30-day warranty.

I may be at fault for not noticing the problem sooner, but warranties often run from when the issue is noticed; I expected them to be helpful and waive their fine print to correct it. I may also be wrong, but I don't consider poor workmanship a warranty issue, and certainly not what one expects from a locally-owned family-operated business.

I had a leaky pipe that was causing water to go through the ceiling.  

I got contacted from Trieu first out of all the plumbers.  He was quick and came to my house hours after posting.  After a little investigating we found the leak.

Because the leak was behind the wall in upstairs bathroom he had to do some cutting to get to the leak.  But all was covered up and you wouldn't even know it was worked on after.

He was very friendly and fair.  I'm happy with the service I got from him and I would recommend him for anyone who has any issues with plumbing.

Great communication, fast response.  Came on time and was very courteous diagnosing the issue and troubleshooting.  Great value

Our sewage pipe under our crawl space broke and Capitol Plumbing came to rescue. It was  a huge mess and all the stink came out.
They drained the dirty water, located the broken pipe and anastomosed it. Dried the area with huge fans and they came back and checked area after a week. They applied chemicals to the area and voila! Job well done Khoa and assistant!

My wife and I were looking to re-pipe our whole house. After contacting numerous contractors, we selected Local Rooter & Plumbing. When Duy visited our house, it was like a good friend was informing us on what work needed to be done. Duy provided us with a very fair estimate and the length of completion was supposed to take 3-4 days.

Duy and his team are very professional and worked very fast to get the job done right. I was glad that at the end of the day, his team properly cleaned up and allowed us always one restroom to use so we can get ready for work the next day.

After the job was complete, Duy inspected the work that his crew did. He even inspected the brand new 50 gallon hot water heater that they installed. Thanks again for that Duy.

Duy is very easy to communicate and get a hold of. Anytime I had any questions, he was always there to answer my questions.

A couple days after the job was complete, I heard a strange sound after flushing our upstairs middle restroom. I contacted Duy and he dispatched 2 of his guys to check out the problem. After flushing the toilet, they were able to easily diagnose the issue. The copper pipes wasn't the problem, it was a old plastic piece in our toilets reservoir. Hoang replaced the piece in a matter of minutes. After flushing the toilet, we no longer heard that strange sound. Thanks again Hoang for quickly identifying the issue and fixing it.

Local Rooter & Plumbing will now be my go to plumber. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Duy and his team are very easy to work with and know what they are doing. If you are in the market for repiping your whole house or need a plumber, I highly vouch for Duy and his team from Local Rooter & Plumbing.

I called Todd from Drain Rooter Service to fix a problem outside of the house and the next day he arrived and replaced the original pipes and valves with a new set up. He's committed to doing the best job that comes his way. Thanks much Todd!

Great service yesterday morning in San Mateo. Met J.R. who was friendly, efficient, and explained the problem to me clearly.

Joe returned my husband's call quickly after he left a message in the evening. Due to the nature of our situation, he rearranged his schedule and came the very next day. He was right on time and very personable. He and his crew went to work and did a splendid job. He also worked on our master valve to fix the leak although we didn't mention this issue before the appointment. I highly recommend J&K Plumbing.

One day, we woke up with no hot water and flood in the garage. I called Marlon, as he helped us few months ago with the clogged pipe. I apologized, as it was early in the morning :) - he was quick, responsive, said no need to apologize and requested me to send him photos of my water heater. Water was leaking around the perimeter. He advised to turn off water for the heater until he comes. As soon as he finished his prior appointment - he came to our house, ran diagnostics (as we suspected, water heater broke) and recommended to replace the heater. We chose tankless version (thanks, Marlon, for recommending it); he and his helper Tony came the next day and took care of the installation, re-piping to outside of the house with copper pipes (we chose outside heater placement), testing everything out and - we had our hot water again! Now, with tankless heater, we never run out of hot water with our 3-bath house :) Overall, Marlon has been super-responsive, professional, honest, great in communication and walking us through the pricing and maintenance options for various heater models; he is also an optimistic and pleasant person to talk to :) I would highly recommend him and his service for any plumbing needs you may have.

One of the best in the business. I had called them on a Sunday to address a leak situation in my garage ceiling. They came in promptly at the allocated time, explained the diagnostics process clearly to me. Both the members of the crew were wearing masks and took their time to figure out the leak source and fixed it and cleaned up before they left. Would highly recommend.

Hugo is great! my toilet was having problems and kept getting clogged even with very little toilet paper being flushed. he came in and got right to it. Hugo is very professional and clean. I will be using Always Rescue Plumbing in the future.

LLP helped me put in gas shutoff valves and fixed rusting water hose spout.  Excellent work and very responsive on phone and text.   Very friendly!

We had to replace our old cast iron sewer line under the house as clogs became more frequent.

We started looking for a contractor and It was extremely hard to deal with most of the plumbers we contacted. Multiple no shows, no follow ups, quote takes days, inadequate pricing, etc.

We eventually contacted the City of Sewer and it's been a very good experience from the very beginning. Super fast responses from the owner (Steven); they arrived on time, gave as a quote during the appointment and were able to schedule the work for the same week.

The actual replacement took less than 5 hours and we were able to use water in the afternoon.

So far everything works well. Going to work with this company for other plumbing needs in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Eddy,  our pipes were clogged completely and water heater wasn't working. We brought few other plumbers before him and none of them could fix it, he came urgently in the middle of his busy schedule at a weird night time, explained very clearly what was going on and in 30 minutes fixed it with a short term solution.  Through the inspection with his small cameras he also pinpointed the problem and came later on to fix that for a long term solution. He delivers what he promises.  And on top of it, he charged way less than any of the other plumbers or quote that we got. He is amazing!

Don't mistake friendliness for great service.

When we were renting, our landlord used these guys and the plumber that came out seemed nice enough. Since we weren't paying, what did it matter?

Boy, is it a different story when you foot the bill.

1. Quoted us over $6k to replace a bit of galvanized pipe and a water heater. We had another company come out and did everything for less than $2k, including an upgraded Rheem water heater.
2. To give you an idea of their prices, $300 to replace a shower cartridge (part is anywhere between $20-50 and takes 15 minutes) and $200 to replace a shower diverter (again, part is $20-50 and is a 5 minute job).
3. When we called them to do some warranty work, they came out and claimed it wasn't covered by the warranty and because they were able to clean out the offending part, they didn't have to charge us. Only $200 for the house call. WHAT?!?

Sure, they send you a text to let you know they're on their way and can use an app to email you a quote, but if you end up getting ripped off in the end, is it all worth it?

Had a leaked in my water line and in desperate situation on a Sunday. Most of the plumbers needs a few days to stop but Ed and his partner is at my hse within 40 mins. They are responsive, professional and the cost was very reasonable.

Good honest company! Kiet and his co-worker did a great job and we passed inspection with no questions asked. I would highly recommend All Go Plumbing, they know what they are doing AND they followed up with us to ensure everything went smooth during the

We called Drain Masters yesterday because our drains were backing up and sludge was coming up out of the sink. They said they would be by within 90 minutes and actually got here in less than 30. Thanks for the fast response. Anyway, it is an old house and the sewer lines are not in the best of shape. Edward, the owner, was on the call and after some investigation, he gave it to us straight. We needed the sewer line snaked. Unfortunately, the clean out was not accessible due to some non permitted construction some time in the past so he would need to remove one of the toilets, snake the line, then reset the toilet. As an option, he said he would be able to cut through the exterior of the house in order to access the clean out. After snaking the sewer line, he would then add some additional length to the sewer line so that it extended to the exterior of the house. He would then restucco the wall so that it was good as new. Although more expensive, we opted for this option because it was a better long term solution.

Anyway, he got to work first with a 75 ft snake. Not long enough so he called in one of his workers with the big boy...the 175 ft snake. Bingo. After a couple of hours of hard work - success. He showed us what the problem was. Roots had grown into the sewer line and constricted the opening until water no longer was able to flow through the line. He patched things up as promised and now we are good as new.

Edward was polite, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to be around. I can't think that I have had a better, more positive experience.
