Our kids have been making slime at home and washing it down the sink. As you can imagine, the bathroom sink got clogged. I messaged Phuong late at night and he showed up 8am the next morning. He took care of it in less than 5 minutes and was so nice and professional.

Khoung is such a honest gentlemen, we had a snaking job to be done at a kitchen. He recommended replacement of the drain section. Such a good hearted man. So we don't need to snake it every year! Even though it cost us replacement but his right advice well worth the $. he replaced the drain in about 4 hours.

Steve is great. I actually had used his brother Johnny in the past, but he left for Texas. But he let me know about Steve, and I'm a happy guy again. I had one of those single lever bathroom faucets with the ball. I had fixed one in the past, but had trouble with the 2nd bathroom. Steve replaced the faucet (basically too much trouble to try and fix the old one), and life is good. Quick, professional, on time, neat, I found a new plumber!

We discovered the dishwasher on our rental property did not have an air gap properly installed and no hole existed in the the granite counter top. Additionally the water pressure regulator had failed and needed to be replaced.

I contacted Steve (Khuong) on Friday and by Saturday 9 am he was on site to begin repairs. By lunch time he was done. He is professional, prompt and fair on his pricing.

Highly recommend and will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs.

Local local was very local. I believe they were preoccupied when we called with our situation however, they came as soon as they could. The timing was impeccable.

After looking it over, they noticed a small leak from our disposal. They gave a quote as well as a time frame when it would be done and just like that, it was done. We especially appreciated them remembering us since they've turned into one of our go-to's in contract work. Already have them on speed dial.

We came home with our main sewage line clogged and spewing all over our lawn. I was so embarrassed to call someone but knew I had to get a professional in. Steve came first thing in the morning and cleared our problem and was absolutely amazing. He told me the reason for the clog (tree roots) and guided me on the best way to fix our problem in the future. Will definitely be keeping him as our plumber and will be using him in the future once we're ready to change out our drain pipes. I cannot thank you enough for helping us out on this emergency!

Hello All, First time I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Steve was a call for help when our laundry flooded the garage not once but twice. We didn't realize the kitchen was connected to laundry, so when we washed the dishes, it flooded the garage again.

Posted a request for quote via Yelp and Steve came to our rescue!! On a Sunday afternoon. He tried to snake the clogged pipes but it was no use, as they were packed solid.. see photo's

He recommended the waste pipes needed to be replaced and said he'd be back in the morning.

Right on time and again friendly attitude. Once he was under the house he noticed a few things.. the cast iron drain pipe from the hall bathtub was leaking and had a huge hole. Also there was a lot of pipes hanging down with the wrong materials used prior plumbers, not to mention the debris. Steve fixed it all!!

I can't thank Steve enough for his awesome work and great prices. We'll be calling him again if we need a plumber. Very happy customers!!

I called Steve at 4:14pm with a stuck drain, and he drove away before 6pm, leaving me with a bathtub (and kitchen sink) draining better than it ever had before. My house was built in 1947, and it is a bit funky. It took some extra work to get this done, and he did it without a complaint.

Steve fiddled with the tub (and reassured me that I wasn't imagining the stuck stopper that prevented getting a snake through there) and fiddled with the kitchen drain and wound up on the roof trying to hydro-jet the drain through the vents. When that didn't work, he snaked everything from under the kitchen sink.

He was cheerful and friendly and polite throughout, and wore a mask (COVID times, you know) and was just a pleasure to deal with. And, did I mention that he showed up in around an hour?

Had a toilet back up. Steve was available same day on a weekend. It wasn't urgent so I asked if he could come first thing Monday morning. Arrived promptly and remembered me from his first visit to our home.

Steve found that our fill valve needed to be replaced. He provided an estimate on the spot, which he already had the parts for. He explained that this would be a quick job no problem, but for the cost, if I were to buy my own toilet, he'd just do this install and charge for labor, coming out to just a little more for a brand new toilet.

He told me it's our choice and either option is fine by him.

We went with the new toilet. I placed an online order for same day pick up at Home Depot. Steve even picked it up for us and came back in the afternoon and finished a quick install.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Steve is the best in the business and has the best prices to boot. If you're not using Local Local, you're already losing.

He's the only plumber getting my business and I'll refer him to everyone I know!

Our water heater went out last Sunday and though many plumbing companies wouldn't come out until the following Monday, Steve was able to come out right away and even gave me a free estimate when other companies wanted to charge a service fee.

He was very helpful in explaining the issues with my water heater and why it needed to be replaced, and on Tuesday he and his team came and took care of everything very quickly! The process could not have been smoother and I definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for an efficient and responsive plumber.

I had a dripping faucet, running toilet, and clogged dishwasher air gap. Sent out a bunch of quote requests on Yelp and Steve was the first to reply. He came out on time the same day we spoke to provide free estimate. Gave me a very reasonable quote and fixed everything same day. The cherry on top was that he agreed to meet me at the Home Depot closeby and picked out exactly what I needed! At first I thought the air gap was still clogged and he was honest to say he wouldn't charge if the problem couldn't be fixed or not up to my expectations but I ran the dishwasher again, no spills/clog!

Also, as a precaution, he kept his mask on the whole entire time and cleaned up after he left.

So grateful that he was available today.
Would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him should we have any issues.
5 stars for his solid skills, would give extra stars if I could for him going above and beyond! Thanks again Steve!

Steve also goes by Khuong- I'd rate his service as the best of the best therefore he automatically deserves a 5-star.
My newly purchased house needs a water regulator. After interviewing about 10 Yelp 5* rated plumbers, I decided to go with Steve's Local Local Plumbing because: 1). Steve did come for an onsite investigation on the problem and he is on time for the appointment; 2) He really knows what he does and explains clearly; 3). His warranty is among the best; 4) He works so hard so that his appointment times are more flexible than most of others; and, 5) He even went to my other house in another city (with low water pressure as a problem) and found out the city sewer system leaking- he did not charge for this trip.

His installed water regulator has a normal level of water pressure but my house seems needs a higher-than-average level then he came with a replacement.

With the new regulator, I still see a little water over it but I don't see leaking. However Steve still came today- Sunday morning to double check. Finally we've both agreed the little water came from drips of roof gutter so the water regulator is in good condition without any problem.

He has the best quality with after-work services so I think he is the best and would highly recommend.

Steve has helped me twice with plumbing issues. The first time, I needed to repair main water pipe that was being bent by an overgrown tree. He was one of the first quotes to respond back to me via text, and came almost immediately to do an estimate. His price was fair, and he was honest, so I decided to go ahead with him. He did the work in about half a day, and sent me the photos of his progress of his work throughout the day as it is a rental property. He cleaned up very nicely afterwards, my tenants were very pleased and even asked for his contact.

Then on Super Bowl Sunday, we came home from a trip to a busted pipe near our water heater. I immediately called Steve, and he responded back in less than 15 minutes again, even though he was at his own Super Bowl event. He was able to come promptly and quoted us a fair price to fix our hot water line in the next two hours! Now that's prompt efficient service!

The only thing to mention is that Steve is not licensed, but he is responsive, does do great honest work at a very reasonable price.

The main shut-off valve coming into the house had a leak and needed to be replaced. I put out request for quote via Yelp, and had several replies back via the application. Kuong and local-local-plumbing was the first to reply (literally within 5 mins), called me to understand the problem, and after I texted a picture of the scope of work, he immediately called me back with a quote and a next day appointment. He arrived early (texted me that he was on his way), quickly explained what he was going to do, and got to work, finishing efficiently and doing a nice-clean job. The cost was exactly what was quoted. He cleaned up and put everything back in its place before leaving, always being very friendly and attentive to my questions.

Two days later I noticed that one of the connections had a tiny, almost not even noticeable, drip. I called Kuong, and he came out immediately to correct it. That's when you know you have someone that stands behind their work, values customer service, and takes pride in what they do. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs, and will use him again for sure!

I waited about a month to post this review to make sure that the repair would hold up, and so far everything is still working as it should :)

Steve responded to my request looking to fix a dripping sink faucet. He was friendly, professional, and quoted me a reasonable price. I decided to move forward with his service and figuring out next steps was easy -- he provided guidance on what kind of replacement parts I needed to procure, and set up a time to return to do the repair a couple days after.

He arrived on time with another person to help him, and I watched while they worked -- they were quick, clean, organized, and efficient. Clearly knew what they were doing, and it confirmed that this repair was out of my wheelhouse (or any DIY video I found on YouTube).

I was having issues with my garbage disposal and pipes, causing it to flood into our garage! I used Yelp to get quotes from multiple plumbers and Khuong was super quick to respond. He took my phone calls immediately Saturday evening during a holiday weekend and came out the very next day to snake the pipe and assess the issue. The grease that was coming out of my pipe was so gross he recommended replacing it all. He gave us some options and answered all 50 questions me and my family had.

He was super friendly, mindful of COVID, and made sure to place tarps down to keep our house tidy. Upon completion, he made sure to double check there were no leaks and the work was done correctly.

In all, appreciated his promptness and was an honest guy. I don't know anything about plumbing, but seemed to be quality work! He even gave us a 3-year warranty. I think we found our go to plumber! Thank you Khuong!

So I'm realizing I have a water leak behind the tub/shower wall that won't be an easy fix: rip out tile, replace valve, some pipes, etc. First dude I spoke to quoted $1700. Come on man. I looked on YouTube for some how to videos. I'm like, cool I got this. Got the wall open and thought you might be in over your head. Steve was the first one to respond back to me and he was able to provide me with an estimated cost on Yelp with a picture I sent. Once we confirmed the price, Steve showed up to help us within 20 minutes. He was very professional, skillful, and experienced. Our kitchen faucet broke and that's not good timing during a pandemic for a family of 4. Steve came out the following day and replaced our faucet. He even came back a few days later to add the soap dispenser that came with the faucet and re-caulked the area around the sink that was moldy. He is super nice and reasonably priced. We woke up to a clogged kitchen sink on Mother's Day (2021). That day didn't start well as not having a sink on such an important day is going to be a huge inconvenience. I started calling plumbing companies and many were either not open or couldn't come on the same day.

On the verge of giving up, I stumbled upon Local Local Plumbing and I was originally a bit skeptical of the relatively few (but very good) reviews. Out of desperation, I called anyway and the call was quickly answered by Steve. I explained the situation to him and to my surprise, he said he could come as soon as noon once he finished his current job.

Steve arrived exactly at noon. He was courteous and he listened attentively to not just my kitchen sink problem but also my long standing bathroom sink clogs as well. He said he would take a look at the bathroom issues after he's done with the kitchen.

When Steve came into the house, he took off his shoes without being asked to. He started working on the kitchen sink immediately and efficiently, and he kept the working area neat and clean. Unfortunately, after trying two different snakes (25 feet), Steve concluded that the clog was deeper than the snakes were able to reach. He asked about the availability of the crawl space, and he suggested checking out the pipe from the crawl space to find an alternate solution.

After Steve suited up for the crawl space, he went down and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation from below. When he came back up, he identified where the clog was and suggested to cut open that section of the pipe, cleared out the clog, and re-attached the pipe back. He also offered the option of replacing the cut section with new pipe if the clog was too difficult to clear. I thought this was going to be very expensive, but Steve gave me a very reasonable price.

After gathering all his equipments and materials, Steve went back into the crawl space again and started working on the new option. While in the crawl space, he called me and kept me appraised of the progress. After he was done in about 45 minutes, he stayed in the crawl space and called me again and had me prepare a sink-full of water and flush it down in one go so he can check for leaks. I was very happy to see water gushing down the drain and no more clog.

When Steve came back up, he went outside the house to take off his now very dusty suit, tidy himself up a bit, and came back into the house to check the bathroom sinks. He quickly identified the problem - he cleaned the drain stoppage on both sinks, and gave me some advise on how to regularly maintain the sink to minimize future clogs.

And Steve did not even charge for taking care of the bathroom sinks. I would rate Steve a 6-star!! In my 30 years of home ownership and being landlord to multiple rental properties, I have never come across a plumber as friendly, patient, respectful, and professional as Steve. He is now on my quick dial.

Terrific work... Responded quickly to yelp request. Provided an accurate estimate over the phone to set up a new line from the water source to my refrigerator ice machine. (I preferred running a new line than moving my built in.) I also preferred to have a shutoff valve to the frig under the frig...not under the house. He accommodated my request and set up the fix exactly as I requested even as it caused a trip to the hardware store for a different line and valve. Very much appreciated!

While under the house he discovered my island sink drain pipe had a leak (new problem). He FaceTimed me from under the house to show me the active leak...very much appreciated as it saved me a crawl under the house. nice!!

and also the shut off faucet to the house didn't work (known issue.) He replaced the defective valve and pipe with new quarter turn valve and copper pipe.

Khoung fixed all three, effectively, efficiently and at a fair price.

I would definitely call Khuong for my next plumbing project.

Amazing service and our expectations were not just met, but surpassed! We had a leak under our kitchen sink and at first thought it could be the disposer, but running the dishwasher also caused water to leak. There was also water spraying onto our backyard. This happened on Saturday night and every plumber that responded said their earliest availability was Monday, but Steve with Local Local said he would come Sunday morning. We were relieved when he showed up promptly at the time he said he would and he was very professional and respectful and followed Covid-19 guidelines. Turns out our plumbing issues were pretty bad-our p-trap had to be replaced and part of the ABS pipe outside the kitchen, as well as snaking to the sewer line.

Steve went above and beyond. He took the time to troubleshoot thoroughly and test different possible repair options to save us money, but was very thoroughly to also ensure he got to the root of the problem. Rather than just giving up, he spent hours and left only when he was sure he had fixed all of the different issues we had. He had to cut thru the outside wall to replace the abs pipe and was very careful to keep the damage to exterior wall to a minimum and no damage anywhere else. He even took the time to explain everything to our landlord and ensure he was satisfied and pleased with the service, as well.

I hope to never have any other issues with plumbing again, but if anything else in our house needs it, we will definitely hire Steve again. I absolutely recommend Local Local to anyone experiencing plumbing issues.

Steve did a wonderful job above and beyond the jobs at hand. I am on a budget but wanted to upgrade the bathroom. Steve installed a new toilet, new vanity, faucet, bathtub fixtures and shower doors. During a pandemic it's risky having anyone in the house but he is very conscientious about mask protocol and very clean. I would definitely hire him again for any future project small or large.

Steve and his team did a great job working on a stopped drain for me. I had a great experience working with them, from the beginning to the end!

I messaged Local Local on Yelp, and got a prompt response from them. They suggested a few different times (all sooner than I expected they could do!), and came promptly as scheduled. They were professional and courteous, giving an honest explanation of the situation and the work they were doing. They were efficient at the work, and Steve inspected the affected pipe to check for any other issues while the technician cleaned up after doing the rooting work.

Our main line is clogged again from tree roots. We called around for tree root specialists, but no one was willing to snake from the roof due to risks and liability. So we called back Local Local who has become our go-go plumber. He responded quickly, worked fast, and at the lowest price of all the quotes (in part because of previous jobs).

Our toilets were clogged on a Monday night at 8pm.. we were freaking out because the water in the bathtubs were also clogged. We called Local Local Plumbing and Steve was so helpful to come out late at night to help unclog the water line. He also came back 2 times to replace our leaked water pipes underneath the house in which he has identified the night our toilets were clogged. Price was reasonable and service was great!! Fantastic work, they came out and checked the plumbing and the sewers on both sides of the house so that we needed work done to one which meant that our washing machine stopped backing up and flooding. Very reliable great service and we haven't had a problem since the rest of the plumbers kept just suggesting snaking which was doing nothing to really help

Steve is a super great guy. He is very responsive, does great work and very helpful while problem solving all plumbing issues.

I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday. The drain pipes under the kitchen sink were corroded, leaking and needed to be replaced. I put out a Yelp quote request and Local Local Plumbing responded and was able to come over the same day. He quoted me $150 to replace the pipes and another $150 to snake the sink drain pipes which was working but slow.

He replaced the drain pipes under the sink then snaked the main drain pipe from an access port outside the house. He then told me my drain was clogged with grease and the drain pipe under the house needed to be replaced at a cost of $1200!

When we turned on the water I could see a huge new leak developed where the drain pipe connected to the wall. He told me that pipe also needed to be replaced because the end was damaged but I could clearly see several inches of good threaded pipe on the cast iron pipe. I told him that was not right and he needed to fix the leak. He again attempted to seal the pipe using silicone sealant which he said required 24 hours to seal.

24 hours later I turned on the water and the pipe no longer leaked but my drain was now completely clogged. I called him again to inform him the drain was now completely clogged and wouldn't drain at all now. He again said the only option was to replace the pipe at $1200 in addition to the $300 I had already given him.

Nothing about this sounded right so I called another plumber who said it was highly unlikely that grease alone could clog the pipe so it couldn't be snaked to clear it. He also said if the pipe was corroded shut or damaged he could replace it for around $300 plus parts. I had the 2nd plumber come over and he was indeed able to snake the drain and clear it.

I called Local Local and told him I had another plumber snake the drain and it was working fine and that he needed to refund the $150 portion of my bill for not properly snaking the drain. The next day he refunded the $150.

Local Local Plumbing is five stars. We had a total back up of our plumbing, we had someone come out to snake the main clean out with no success. Steve from Local Local Plumbing responded to my Yelp inquiry within mins and was at my house in less then a hour. He was able to hydrojet our line, after a lot of hard work and having to go over 100 ft in. We finally figured out, with the help of his camera, it is a problem with roots blocking our pipes. He suggested we install a city clean out and gave us a quote to install it.
I will definitely use Local Local Plumbing again!

My kitchen sink was backing up causing it to flood onto the floor. I used Yelp to get quotes from multiple plumbers and Khuong was the fastest to respond and came out the very next day to look at the pipes. He saw it was classic old iron pipes where there should be plastic instead. He offered a quick quote an quick come out the next day. He also repaired my slow drain showers where it was old iron as well.
He was super personable, humble, friendly and patient in answering all questions. He was willing to to do a smaller job than what he recommended so that it would fix the problems and would be less cost.

The water heater supply line for the hot water was leaking and was impossible for me to get off. I took pictures of the pipe and sent them in to show the problem. Khuong was able to give me a quote, based on the pictures. He came out that same day and not only fixed the leaky supply line, but replaced some old pipes and fittings for the same price he quoted me with.

It all started with replacing a garbage disposal and Steve's pricing was exceptional. I got 5 bids and everything was all over the places. Chose to go with Steve (owner of Local Local Plumbing). Steve is extremely responsive and on-time. We also had him install a high end faucet and went great as well. Our house does not have a sewer cleanout and in the middle of the night, the sewer got backed up! Steve came out the very next morning to diagnose, used a camera to locate the clogs and installed a cleanout for us to be able to use the snake and clear the clogs. The price was exceptional as well. We have found the plumber for live and will be referring him to everyone we know! In the next couple years, we will need Steve's help for installing a city sewer cleanout. Steve was exceptional from the from the start. He responded to my yelp inquiry within 20 minutes and came to the house a few minutes ahead of the agreed on time. Steve assessed my issue within a few minutes, a water main leak between the water meter and the front lawn. What I appreciate about him is that he took time to provide options. He said that we could replace the pipe from the meter to the house (very expensive) or that we could try and replace a short segment of line that he suspected was the problem. Had a leaky kitchen faucet. I couldn't remove it because the nut had rusted at the base. Tried everything. Finally gave up and called Khuong. I called about ten other plumbers, but I am glad that I went with Steve. Not a lot of places were open on a Sunday, but I had a leak underneath my kitchen sink so I needed it fixed right away. He was very fair on pricing while other companies on here are out to scam you for the same type of work he did for me. When he arrived, he knew exactly what to replace and started working immediately. He also gave me advise on other areas of my sink that will need to be replaced later, which were great tips. It was a small job, so he was done within an hour. It definitely would've taken me longer if I had done it myself, so great turnaround time. It's been about 24 hours and all the work he did is holding up with no more leaks. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and have other projects that I will contact him about later. If you decide to go through with this, just know that will be dealing with someone who is professional, courteous, and capable! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
