They were awesome! We have used them in the past. I called Friday night and left a message for a weekend appointment because we are remodeling our bathroom and the pipes had calcium deposits. The contractor wanted them cleaned before he laid the tile on Monday. I got a call Sat and had someone out Sunday am to fix the problem. They are friendly, professional and do excellent work.

I had a simple issue (changing light switch) where I started the job, realized that I wasn't sure how to finish, and decided to call someone to do it instead.  I felt sheepish that I couldn't even do a simple job like this, but Chuck made me feel at ease and explained what was going on.  He was friendly, professional, and completely met my expectations.  He's worked in the tech industry and I appreciated the real-time email invoice.

They came out quickly, did a nice job installing the faucet and even though they couldn't do final connection to my dishwasher, they told me everything I needed and where to get it. The plumber was personable, left our space clean.

I had some water leak from upstairs onto the ground floor. I called several plumbers and everybody was giving me different days to come and take a look at it . Finally when I called Shawn he was ready to come and see within the next one hour . He is so efficient and the most ethical and moral person I have ever met . He is the first plumber who even said that after I finish the job see if it doesn't leak for a week and then you can pay me. Who says that in this day and age .  One thing I will say is I got a plumber for my lifeTime.

Responsive, comes when they say and do a great job for a fair price. Would definitely recommend and use them again for any garbage disposal installations or repairs. Thanks CK Plumbing!

Marquez Plumbing did a GREAT job for me on my mom's house.  I had them re-plumb her whole house from the fixtures to the street and they did a GREAT job.  They also did me a favor and came to my house in Salinas to checked all my plumbing in my house.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Fernando, Bulmaro, and Julio were the contractors that helped prepare my condo to be move-in ready and they did an amazing job.  They repainted the walls, repaired everything that needed to be repaired, and stained the kitchen cabinets at just the right color, which was difficult to do given its incredibly specific coloring.  They were kind, friendly, considerate, efficient, and got the job done sooner than I was expecting.  I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Our upstairs bathroom had a leak and this is our first home so obviously...panic!
Niko was very responsive and got back to me almost immediately after I messaged him on Yelp. He was able to make time to come the next day and evaluate the situation - luckily nothing too big and he imparted some great advice and let us pick if we'd like to do it ourselves to save some $$.
He's very professional and courteous and I can't wait to replace our kitchen faucet so I can get Niko to come back again!!

Garbage disposal was leaking water and Eugene came on a Sunday.  Super fast and was great he installed a new one and at a reasonable price.  Highly recommend.

I noticed a leak in my first floor ceiling and got worried. We poked around and a gush of water came out. It was a weekend so I knew no one would come out. I called Ray and he gave me some directions on how to keep things at bay until he could come out. When he did come to take a look, he was on time and super nice. He put my mind at ease and we'll be working on the repairs. It's a bigger job than I anticipated but I feel comfortable working with Ray.

Freddy and his crew are the best. We had, quite frankly, a HUGE plumbing job: basically all the drain pipes in our house had failed, and we needed to replace all of them. The problem is that we live in an Eichler home, which is slab-on-grade, so all the pipes are under the concrete slab. The worst problem was a huge break in the main sewer line, which was totally fractured and had been invaded by roots, a situation made much worse by the current drought. Freddy came out and did a camera inspection of the whole system, and then sat down with us and discussed all the options. We decided on a course of action, set a date, and Freddy wrote up a contract and sent it to us via email promptly. The plan necessitated jackhammering the floor in one room and in the garage, and a fair amount of digging in the yard, but the majority of the work was done with trenchless pipe-bursting and pneumatic boring, and I was quite impressed with the technology and the way the job was done. The crew is a great group of guys, hard working, careful, diligent, and Freddy always communicated what the next steps were going to be. Freddy took care of all the permits and there were no problems with the inspection. They installed proper new clean-outs on all the lines and even installed a couple of new shut-off valves on my garage utility sink with no extra labor charge. It is a huge relief to know that we will never have to worry about the drains in this house again, and they have been a constant problem ever since we bought the house 8 years ago.  There was no way around a fair amount of disruption in the house since this was a major job, but they got it done and returned the yard and landscaping to its previous state. They come with our highest recommendation! Great job!

Viktor is exceptional. He did several jobs for us including installing a new faucet, wall-hanging desk, heavy duty shelves and an outdoor swing. He also painted and installed our interior garage door. Not only was he fairly priced, his work was top-notch. We are very satisfied with his service and highly recommend him for anyone looking for a handyman.

We had a leak in our water heater last night and called Alansi's the next A.M. @7; I left a msg and got a call back within 1/2 hour!  By 10 am, Mohamed was here with a new water heater; Now that is customer service!  If you need your water heater replaced, call on Alansi's.  Prices are very reasonable!  Believe me, I've researched the model# of the water heater they've installed and it is one of the better models. Thanks again Alansi! I've told my co-workers, family and friends about you.

We finally decided to purchase and have a water softener installed after our debacle with Culligan (see review). We reviewed the options (salt versus salt free). Once we came to our decision, we decided to purchase the softener separately and pay an installer. This was due to the exorbitant prices most manufacturers want to purchase and have their units installed. I started getting costs for installation. There are a lot of plumbers out there and where do you begin but to start checking reviews. Like most people I normally start with the higher star reviews. I also like the ones with more reviews as you have more tracking of their performance. I got a couple of estimates and they were okay, but not great. For me there has to be a built-in trust when I talk to the person and I wasn't getting those good vibes yet. As I went about my process I came across Polis Plumbing. The comments were good, but there just weren't enough of them for my liking. I decided to make the call anyway. Emil came out and I immediately liked him. He gave me a very reasonable estimate. I made an appointment. He showed up on time. Did the job neatly and the system is up and running as expected. He even called about a week after installing it and made arrangements to come by again and check the water hardness in the house to verify it was operating as expected. ......  In a nutshell I leave you with this. .... If you need a plumbing job done give Polis Plumbing and Emil a chance by calling. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Though I didn't get to have them do work, I'm not happy with the customer service.  My backyard was flooded.  It was coming from under my grass, sprinklers perhaps.  Anyway, I did everything I knew how to stop the water running but when my yard started lifting,  I called, what was listed an emergency service, Ernie's.  The dispatcher took my info and said she will try to contact a plumber on-call.  Around 20 min later, I called back to see if she had any luck and she replies with oh, yeah, so I was wrong.  Apparently they stopped taking calls for the night.  Um, when were you going to let me know?!  I had to call them to find out no help was coming?  Thankfully my neighbor was still awake to help.  Don't call yourself an emergency plumbing service if you can't deliver emergency help.  I'm sure they are capable and professional while on the job but that dispatcher needs training and the company needs to list conditions on emergency services provided.
