Called SJ Drain & Main to clear a hair clog from my bathroom shower and sink. They arrived on time, they were courteous, quick repair and cleaned up well after snaking the drains. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for a plumbing repair.

I called EJ's Plumbing late afternoon yesterday as our kitchen sink at work was backed up and the garbage disposal wouldn't work. I asked them to come out this morning if possible and they gave me a window of 10am-12pm. I receieved a call from who I believe is the owner at 10:45am to let me know that he had someone on their way. The plumber showed up in less than 15 minutes and was friendly and professional. He fixed the problem and actually charged us exactly what they said they would. No funny business here!

I called several other plumber to get estimates and quoted me a price of $125 - $175 an hour and said the job would take at least 2 hours. EJ Plumbing said they'd charge a flat rate of betweem $98 - $150, based on what I told them on the phone.The plumber arrived promptly and was finished in 30 minutes.

I have to give EJ Plumbing 5 stars!!!

Called Handy Rooter and Plumbing to fix some plumbing issues in my kitchen. He was very professional and detailed about his work. He took his time and also checked all the bathroom sinks and showers for leakage and flow at no charge. Very reasonable in prices and very excellent in quality of work. Definitely recommending him to friends and family.

Michael is so awesome and responsive! I had a shower spout that was causing a leak in our walls, and couldn't get the spout off for the life of me. Michael was knowledgeable, asked the right questions to diagnose the issue, and quickly replaced my spout. He's trustworthy and his prices were more reasonable than others who I had contacted. Highly recommend!

About 6 months after Khoa from Capitol plumbing & Hydro-Jetting fixed a leaking backup valve it started leaking again. On the first repair he swapped the copper to plastic couplings so that the female was metal and the male plastic. He explained that plastic tolerates compression well but a plastic female will eventually crack due to expansion. He was so careful and diligent that I was sure the leak was in a different portion of the plumbing. I called and he came out that very afternoon to look. He dug up the connection and confirmed that the leak was indeed from his previous work. The plastic male had somehow broke. I tried to explain that we had a small quake which might be responsible for the break but he refused any money compensation. After he finished, I offered to pay for his gas and some of his time but he still refused stating he stands behind his work. Wow is all I can say. You don't find this type of dedication very easily.

Sprung a leak in my water main, with a lot of historical weirdness involved... these guys came out that day (Saturday) and set me up with a temporary solution to get water in the house, and came back Monday to put new pipes down.  They were friendly and professional, and when it was discovered they poked a hole in my irrigation system, they came out right away and fixed it for me.  I would highly recommend them.

Both of our sump pumps failed at pretty much the same time and Marco was able to quickly come out and replace them. While he was here, he noticed our backflow device was leaking profusely. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have noticed this so we are so grateful that he did. He quoted us a price and it seemed quite high so we checked around and quickly found that it was extremely reasonable.

He really did go out of his way to give us prompt and courteous and professional service without gouging us. He even gave us a price break. It's so hard to find good plumbers who will actually respond when you call them and help you solve your problem so we feel very fortunate to have found Marco.

Amazing same day service with water heater and main replacement.  Engineer arrived prepared with top of the line fittings, hoses, and hardware (other providers needed multiple trips to the hardware  store).  Easy to work with, highly recommended!

We had a sewer line blockage last year and we got always rescue to come fix it with a permit. The owner said he would take care of the entire permit process and we had to pay extra for it, which is fine because we wanted to have it inspected and signed off by the city. After the job was done, the city inspector came to visit at the scheduled time and these guys were a no show. The inspector came to our door and these guys weren't reachable. The inspector left and the inspection Was rescheduled. The subsequent time the inspector came and signed off on the work done till that point. The guys came and wrapped up the work and left but little did we know that another final inspection was required and despite taking our money always rescue plumbing didn't complete the final inspection. Fast forward 6 months later, we started another project and when the contractor went in for a permit, the city said that the sewer permit process was not complete and was never scheduled. At this point the guys from always rescue plumbing were super non responsive. They refused to follow up with the city and gave excuses that they weren't able to reach the city, when every time I called them I was able to get a hold of them. I followed up with the city and The city inspector told me that the city is very strict about these things and the valve was not properly installed as per the city guidelines that was provided to these guys. And I had to relay information over to these guys every single time I spoke to the city. Finally Daniel from always rescue plumbing came over. Scheduled time was between 8-9am but he showed up much later at around 11am. I showed him the document from the city showing him how the valve needs to be installed and what he had done to correct it wouldn't work again. This is where things get worse. He gets super defensive and starts talking really rudely and asks my husband to fix it instead and he says that whatever I ask for is all made up and the city inspector is not going to have any problems. His demeanor was really aggressive as well when I was just patiently asking him to correct the valve as per what was present in the city document. He also said it was my job to check with the city and follow up the last time around to make sure the permit was complete to which I told him that I paid him extra for the permit process so I didn't have to deal with it myself. He finally made some modifications said that's all he could do and stormed off. Who ever is hiring this company, yes the pricing is good, however don't count on these guys to finish up completely. And when you have to get it done with a permit don't count on these guys completing it either. Once you've paid them in full they will wash their hands off and move any incomplete work items as your responsibility and pretend like it wasn't their problem.

Great work!  He got all the tools with state-of-the-art technology.  The workmanship is good.

Fast, professional, terrific work.  Followed COVID protocol and we were able to continue to work from home while he was here -- he was very quiet and independent.  Totally happy.

Ed is truly the best plumber I have ever worked with. Earlier this summer, we had a major disaster on our hands when our 80-year old sewage pipes disintegrated and we had to dig up a patio to replace them. As we were planning to rent our house in three weeks, we were under a deadline to resolve this problem. We liked Ed's honesty, knowledge, sophisticated equipment, friendly manner and the way he kept us informed along the way. His price was reasonable, particularly in comparison to some of the larger businesses. Not only did he finish the job on time, but he and his crew worked around the clock and finished a few days ahead of time. In our view he is truly the #1 Honest Plumber and I would give him six stars if I could. He could not have been more helpful.

Don't mistake friendliness for great service.

When we were renting, our landlord used these guys and the plumber that came out seemed nice enough. Since we weren't paying, what did it matter?

Boy, is it a different story when you foot the bill.

1. Quoted us over $6k to replace a bit of galvanized pipe and a water heater. We had another company come out and did everything for less than $2k, including an upgraded Rheem water heater.
2. To give you an idea of their prices, $300 to replace a shower cartridge (part is anywhere between $20-50 and takes 15 minutes) and $200 to replace a shower diverter (again, part is $20-50 and is a 5 minute job).
3. When we called them to do some warranty work, they came out and claimed it wasn't covered by the warranty and because they were able to clean out the offending part, they didn't have to charge us. Only $200 for the house call. WHAT?!?

Sure, they send you a text to let you know they're on their way and can use an app to email you a quote, but if you end up getting ripped off in the end, is it all worth it?

Fabulous work by Mesbah & team! We had a leak in our kitchen sink which could potentially cause water damage to our kitchen floors & cabinets. The team here responded quickly. They diagnosed the problem - a broken sink, broken drain pipe & a leaky kitchen faucet. They replaced the drain pipe & faucet then applied glue to the sink to repair the issue. They went to Home Depot to get the faucet & communicated great! Sending pictures to select from. They also guaranteed the work saying they'll do a free repair if the leak occurs again.

Discovered we had a gas leak in our new house, PG&E inspected and shut off gas to the house in winter, leaving with no heat, hot water or cooking. The guy the home warranty company called after a day couldn't do the job and it looked like it'd be another day and a half before someone could come out. I had to find someone on my own faster. One plumber I called was too busy but referred me to Kiet. Kiet came out first thing the next day, fixed the leak and even a second one that he found. Highly recommended!

Phoned Khan to help with a messy problem under our kitchen sink.  Khan was engaged, but referred his brother Rameez to assist.  Within an hour he had the problem identified and solved in short order.  Fantastic work by Rameez.  These two brothers are prompt and reliabile.  Khan leads a solid group of professionals.  Would definitely call again.
