These guys don't need any more 5 star reviews but I'm writing one anyway. We had a horrible main drain backup. First company we called had a low price to snake the drain and run a camera. They were unable to clear the drain but claimed to have located the blockage and quoted repair options that ranged from $4000 to $20,000. Called San Jose Drain and Main ($175 service call). Sam and Jovarre came and noted that no one can see in a clogged drain with a camera. They used what I would call The Mother of All Rooters (MOAR) and cleared the blockage that was over 100 feet from the clean out. Job well done!

Job: Replaced old cast iron sewer line, trenchless, from house to city main. I got three bids, but knew immediately I would chose EJ Plumbing  because of how engaged and real Jose Luis was. He came out to inspect and bid. Educated me on the whole process. He's the guy that gets the job done with his crew. Then for inspections, Benjamin and Danny step in. We passed inspections with flying colors. The yard was put back exactly as found.
    The only bump was West Bay Sanitation. They surprised us with a requirement to put their clean out 2ft inside our fence line. I am not delusional about regulations. I get it. But our main sewer line is in the easement 8ft behind our back fence. We've lived in our house since 1960. Nothing could be grandfathered in.
    You have to be approved for sewer line replacement permits with the City of Menlo Park and West Bay. Both require their own clean outs. This meant the 2 clean outs would be within 15 - 20ft of each other. One for the city 2ft from foundation, and one for West Bay 2ft inside our fence line, which put the West Bay clean out in a crap location in our yard.
    Danny from EJ was patient and helped me navigate. George(?) at West Bay was short and didn't want to deal with me. The only way not to have the 2nd clean out in the yard was to have a notarized West Bay form saying we cannot use their free service if we have a clog. The good news is Danny advised EJ's 25 year guarantee covered any clean out service we may need between the house and the main. We opted for the later.

I have used Handy Rooter twice so far, and have been happy both the times. The most recent case Trieu helped fix the hot water issue in the shower of my rental property. I had to just send a photo of valve on the phone, and he quickly told me the fix along with a reasonable quote. On scheduled day, he visited the property, quickly fixed the problem and sent me invoice along with warranty for the work. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Very knowledgeable person , took care to wear proper protection for my floors, was clean and masked up.  Was quick to reply back with an appointment , showed up when he said he would . Fairly priced,  job turned out great, would definitely use again !

A pipe under our sink was leaking on a Sunday morning, and I figured we had no hope of getting someone out. I called Capitol Plumbing. They answered right away, and they were super responsive and helpful. They came out that same morning, and fixed the problem swiftly and professionally.

We had a leaking kitchen faucet and I sent a request via Yelp, and Todd responded quickly and gave me a fair quote. He came in the next day, on time and tried his best to avoid replacing the faucet so I could save money, but the faucet was broken, indeed. He then changed the faucet, and valves (which was not part of his original quote, but did it anyway for no extra charge).

Later, we noticed that we wanted the faucet to be a bit more towards one direction and I asked Todd if he could come down and adjust it for me. He came as soon as he could the next day and adjusted it for no charge as well. I highly recommend Todd!

Branson hooked us up.  I'm fairly handy but an older sink was too much for me.  I called a couple places and wasn't able to get a reliable callback.  Marco however took notes and quoted me via text (sent some photos), scheduled a tech, and they came out the next day.

They were very flexible about booking and the quote, including last minute accomodations and using my parts.  Brantson was very clean and professional.  He got the job done well.

I will not hesitate to call handyman back, and I'll ask for Brantson again.

I just had a new sink installed and as a result the drain pipes, disposal, and air gap needed to be adjusted. J&K responded right away to my inquiry and came by the next morning to take a look at the problem.  Everything was fixed and adjusted in less than an hour.  He also did something (behind the wall) that got rid of this gnarly pipe vibration every time my water was turned up high or when the dishwasher and faucet ran at the same time.  The noise was so incredibly loud that I thought the pipes were going to burst through my wall.  I have yet to encounter that noise since he fixed it. Marlon was prompt in coming for assessment of the problem and providing a free quote. Subsequently, we scheduled an appointment for the job, which he didn't show. He contacted stating that he came by but no one answered the door. There was someone waiting for him at that time, sitting about 5 feet from the front door, but I gave Marlon the benefit of the doubt and agreed to reschedule. He again did not show up, and again stated that no one answered the door. My family member saw the truck with his company logo pulled up, stopped for a minute without anyone getting out, and drove off. So I decided to get another quote from another company after a whole week was wasted waiting for Marlon. That was when I finally understood why he didn't want to do the job. He misdiagnosed the problem. The other company fixed the real problem, which would've persisted with the solution that Marlon had suggested. I have to give him credit in perhaps realizing the misdiagnosis, and not wanting to do the job wrong, hence I gave the 2 stars instead of minimum 1. However, he should have been honest about it. There was no need to mislead me and wasted so much time. I had to take additional time of from work because of the wasted week.

Excellent service.  United Plumbing was super responsive to my messages and also very patient when busy work scheduled caused slow replies from me.  Technician was very professional.  He quickly identified the sources of my leaks and also bravely went into the crawlspace to inspect the floor damage.  He also did a great job of replacing my old leaky faucet.

My drain plugged up and I knew it was probably around the kitchen area. I reached out on Yelp (casted a net) to see who would reply. Most wanted to schedule an appointment for an estimate but ARP immediately went to work and was able to send someone right away, worked out the price ahead of time and his worker arrived with quality tools to do the job (auto snake, camera, hydro jet).  I hope I don't need to deal with this again for many years (grease build up).

Steve and his team did a great job working on a stopped drain for me.  I had a great experience working with them, from the beginning to the end!

I messaged Local Local on Yelp, and got a prompt response from them. They suggested a few different times (all sooner than I expected they could do!), and came promptly as scheduled. They were professional and courteous, giving an honest explanation of the situation and the work they were doing. They were efficient at the work, and Steve inspected the affected pipe to check for any other issues while the technician cleaned up after doing the rooting work.

All in all, they did great work, and I'd recommend them to anybody in need of a prompt and reliable plumber!

We had purchased  a new clothes washer and found out the drain line was corroded causing the utility drain to back up.  After 3 estimates we elected to go with City of Sewer.  They would replace the section of sewer pipe for $1000 dollars, but since the house was built in the early 60's, we elected to do the entire cast iron sewer pipe from the house all the way to the curb.  They completed the entire job in 2 days with 5 to 6 workers each day.  Their estimate was the best of 3 and they used a trenchless system that keeps them from having to dig up your front yard.  Steven was there for the estimate and managed the repair which also allowed us to continue to use our house after the first day of work.  Hard workers and fair prices with quality work.  I crawl under the house on occasion and I was able to cut a second cawl space opening near the sewer line to give them better access with less crawling.  The other two companies didn't want to go from outside to the curb.  The cast iron was very corroded. Water flows out of the drain when our washer runs. Calling Eddie, he offered a reasonable price and next morning fix. Arrived on time, had a great quick fix along with a good chat. Eddie nicely offered 30 day warranty offering me peace of mind. Eddie is a great guy, definitely honest and reliable plumber, and I will reach out to him again for help in future.

Ok yesterday  I was working  in the garden and I pulled on the hose broke  the pipe and water stared pouring  all over. Right away I knew this was bad any way I looked on yelp and found  Crown plumbing.  Saw alot of good reviews   I called they said we can be out with in an hour. Ok not only  they showed  in a half hour  which was outstanding. Manny was very professional and had the repair done with in an hour. If I have another plumbing problem  I know  who to call. These guys were awesome! Super quick to help with a clog in my toilet. There were super efficient and tidy with their work. If you are looking for great plumbing services.. this is the place you wanna call!

They misdiagnosed our issue, did work that they thought might be the problem and charged 1300 for it. When I said the problem was not fixed, he came out again, scratched his head and couldn't figure out the problem, and said he'd try to follow up with the manufacturer for me and then... nothing. Need to try another plumber I guess.
