We had a crack on the water pipe that connects to the main line in the front yard and a small stream of water is shooting out. We originally contacted another plumber who told us we needed to replace the entire main line to the street since it was made of plastic, not copper. The work would take almost a day during which we would have no water. We then called San Jose Drain & Main. Giovani came and replace the pipe that had the crack. He finished the job in less than an hour and the charges were very reasonable.  I would highly recommend San Jose Drain & Main to anyone.

The original shutoff valves are leaking. They fixed them in an hour. They used more materials than expected but they didn't charge more because of that.

The issue was fixed completely and result is nice and clean.

Michael was great! He answered the call right away and we Face timed the leak in my sprinkler system so he knew what the problem was even before getting here. It was Saturday at 2pm and, and he was willing to come over after his 2 major projects before me, around 5-7pm. He arrived around 5 and was friendly, COVID safe and worked hard to help stop the leak. He also did not what was needed for the fix, but told us exactly what to buy and do the next day so as not to have another house call. It worked out great. I would definitely call him again if needed.

Great service. Very professional. He fixed my leaky bath tub and clogged vanity sink for a fair price. Then he also helped me get some old rusty outdoor garden pipes off and replaced them with the new parts for free. I would recommend this guy. I can not say enough good things!  We had leaks in the wall behind the toilet in the master bath.  I called LRP and David arrived a few hours later.  He identified the leaks, repaired them all, fixed our shut off valve near the house that was broken, and installed a new toilet.  The price was very, very reasonable and he worked for hours going under to take care of our plumbing issues as if they were in his own house.  When he finished, the wall was patched so well it was hard to tell anything was even done!  We are so pleased and impressed by David's hard work and dedication to our needs.  Thank you!!

Drain Rooter Service is very impressive.  We have used their services to replace piping, check our main lines and most recently to replace our water heater.  For the pipes, unlike other services we used previously before finding Drain Rooter service, they do an under house inspection to determine the root cause of the issue before beginning work.  They always provide pictures, multiple options and timely service.  Last night they came to help diagnose water found in the laundry room.   Today they came to replace the leaking water heater.  Since it was under warranty, they drained it, loaded it into their truck and met me at the place of purchase while I got the exchange.  When they took out the unit, they discovered water on the wall and diagnosed the problem.  Fixing the leak in the wall was a great find to prevent future potential issues.  These are my 100% go to plumbers and highly recommend them.  They are thorough, fair and professional.  Thank you Drain Rooter Service.  So happy we found you.

My Water Heater went out over the weekend, which we know is no fun. I contacted my regular plumbing group and they gave me a quote that I thought was way too high, plus they weren't going to be able to fix it for almost two weeks. So I looked online to see what my options were. I saw all the great reviews for Handy Plumbing Man, decided to call them first. Wow, was I happy with their service! I needed a toilet replacement. I called to see when I could schedule, and they said he can come over in an hour. Great! Then he actually showed up when they said they would and went straight to work. I also had him replace a water spigot outside as well. Took him a little over an hour or so for both jobs. Everything just worked and looked great. Just a nice hassle-free experience that's hard to come by these days. Thanks!

Marlon was fantastic. He was thorough, pleasant, reasonably priced, and very professional. He installed a whole house filter in the garage for us and it looks and works great. We just moved to San Jose from the Peninsula - I was worried about finding a reliable plumber and I can confidently say that we found our plumber. Highly recommended!

Our garage disposal broke and needed replacement. Pinged a few plumbers for quote. United was the most reasonable and charged me market price for the garbage disposal. Joe was very transparent with pricing. They showed up the next day on time and did a great job. Offered 1 year warranty on the workmanship.

I will definitely use them in the future.

I had a really bad experience with these guys. Very similar to A S. review. Their plumber came and immediately doubled the quote price for a clogged kitchen drain. I was like whatever since he was there. An hour later, he couldn't fix the clogged and will return tomorrow and will charge me more. He then asked for the full repair cost. I told him I can't pay him since he didn't fix my problem. He was adamant that I should pay but I told him you will be back tomorrow to fix the issue and can pay then. After talking to his boss, we agreed to a contract and then I will pay. A S. Posted his review an hour later and I felt these guys try to hustle me. I knew then these guys will not step foot in my home. I ended up calling SJ main and drain. Their plumber fixed my clogged within 15 minutes and charged me half. Stay away from these guys.

I recently purchased a home that came with many plumbing issues, not to mention other issues. Steve responds quickly and is very professional and knowledgeable. He has been out to my home multiple times, even when we had an emergency sewage backup. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing issues. Don't be fooled by big company names like Roto Rooter, etc. Steve is more knowledgeable and honest. Thank you for everything!

I had to switch out my kitchen faucet and Steven was fast to respond. He was able to send someone out within an hour and the installation took about 45 minutes.

I didn't like the placement of the handle so Steven sent someone the next day to fix it.

Prices are reasonable and job was done well. Would recommend!

I contacted Eddie with several plumbing needs - one which required some research. He had me send photos which helped determine what could be done. He worked with me on timing and came and did an evaluation and estimate on a Saturday. The work was done very well, timely and reasonably. He went out of his way to get me a water main key and showed me out to turn of the water in various places. I will definitely hire him in the future for my plumbing needs.

Fantastic, capable service.  Called at 2 pm.  They gave me a time of 3-5 THAT DAY.  Texted when Sal was on his way.  Arrived on time.  Diagnosed and fixed badly leaking shut off valve and faucet in bath in 20 minutes.  Recommended future replacements on 33 year old faucets.  CC'd service charge and he leaves.  Whatta relief!

Not sure how these 5 stars review come from! Worse than substandard service. Dangerous incompetent service is what it is.

The guy installed a water heater, and it kept being  automatically shut down. They  refused to tender any services and follow-ups. We had to find a manufacture recommended contractor to check the unit.  It turns out the water heater WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED. Because of the improper installation, the water heater keeps shutting down to protect us from the carbon monoxide leaking due to the bad installation.
The company was named Safety Plumbing and now changed name to Right Plumbing. Either way, the company was neither safe nor right for you.
We now have to spend another thousand of dollar to have the false installation corrected. Not to mention the risks we had been exposed to.
The terribly incompetent service was done in January of 2022.

I called the company and they responded quickly. I was able to schedule a next day appt.
Thanh was right on time, friendly, and efficient. I had called them the day before because 3 of my sinks were backed up ( all 3 connected into the same main pipe) He quickly unplugged it, cleaned it out, and cleaned up after himself. Unfortunately, his credit card machine wasn't working but luckily he accepted checks. He was very professional; I would recommend them based on my experience.

I am very thankful khan fixed my shower faucet problem.  He came at his promised time and he did it quick. Definitely a good plumber to go for!

I contacted Edward for clogged toilet, and he arrived about hour late. Due to no sewer cleanout access available in my house (I did not realize it after living here more than 10 yrs without any plumbing issue), he gave me two suggestions: he can install the sewer cleanout to fix the problem, or get other provider who is willing remove the toilet to access from there (his machine is too big to do it).  Per his useful suggestion, I found another guy with small machine to fix the problem. He is so Professional, honest and reasonable guy. Even though I did not end up using him, I will call him for plumbing work needed next time. Thank you Edward for your professional suggestion.
