After many years of ancient sewer lines that were infiltrated with tree roots, we finally decided to replace the line.  Upon getting 3 widely different quotes, I came to yelp for help, EJ Plumbing had glowing reviews and I had them come out to bid the job.
Manny came out with a competitive bid but I felt not only did he know what he was doing but also the man had integrity.
They came out and did exactly what was promised, his crew was hard working, very open to answering all my questions and finished the job at the price that was quoted in the time frame he described.
I am extremely happy with the service and I can recommend this company with a 5 star rating.

Same day service! Fixed our kitchen sink clog in a jiffy. In and out in less than 40 minutes. Thorough job. Quick turn around time on emails.

We needed plumbing help. Great communication during the holiday weeks to schedule a time 10-days out (due to my travel plans). We exchanged text messages 1-day before and he confirmed 15-20 minute notice for arrival time. Super friendly, efficient, charged a fair fee, and explained how to avoid the same problem recurring. I highly recommend.

Replaced our very old, very leaky outdoor spigots and backflow preventers. Very quick, very competent, and very pleasant.

I changed my review from 2 star to 5-star for the following reasons:

1. Duy came to my house and investigate what happened 40 mins after I posted the review.  
2. He was genuinely sincere and wanted to help.  He acknowledged the mistakes that his new employee made.  As he learnt we have found another technician to fix the remaining issue, he gave us a full refund.

I have never experienced this level of customer support in the past from any service providers.  For all his care and response, I gave him two-thumbs up and will use his service again in the future.

I would almost rate them 5-star if it was purely based on the initial response.  But I spent $$$ and the issue was not completely fixed.  

One of our main sprinkler valves was broken and started leaking badly.  I called on a Sunday and was told that they would do free estimates.  The technician showed up within an hour.  My appreciation was beyond description at that point.

However things started going south after that.  First, the initial estimate for changing a valve was far more than what I originally expected.  When we told him that we would have to find someone else, the technician gave us a better quote, more in line with our expectation.  Then we said go ahead.  He went short on a part and had to purchase, we agreed to add more to the quote.  But in the end, it is still leaking.   he only fixed the pipe but not the sprinkler head because he said it would not be his job.  Then he left.

I had wished that they would have told me ahead of time.  Then I would have gone straight to a gardener who would have helped with both pipe and the sprinkler head together.

Great all-round service.

Todd was courteous and gave me a great quote. My main pipe was blocked up and needed a roof snake. Other plumbers quoted me at twice the cost.

Todd arrived within 20 minutes of calling, investigated the problem, and then completed the pipe cleaning within 30 minutes. I'll definitely call him again for other drain and sewage problems.

Switched from traditional tank to a tankless. Marvin came for consultation first and patiently walk me through a different options in detail (I learned a lot!) and even recommended me to get competing bids. I eventually choose him for the price and the knowledge he has.
The work was done in a day n everything was properly strapped and insulated. Spent time to explain all the valves patiently to me when I asked. Let me record a video off him to replace the whole house water filter too - unscrew and screw back in front of me so I actually get it, instead of just give me a link to instructions or video and call it done.
When we found out there is some issue in my main bathroom that he did diagnosis and provided me solutions.
I like how Marvin was professional, knowledgeable, communicative, yet never pushy. Would recommend him and the company again!

Joe is a standup guy. Called him at 750am yesterdayabout my water heater needing replacement. I asked him the unreasonable. Can you have one installed and be done by 10am? Him and Wally squeezed me in and were at my residence by 815 ready to roll. 915am Im being handed an invoice and warm water already running as the tank is warming up the water. Excellent service and efficiency at its best. Was able to enjoy the rest of my weekend as planned.

We haven't hired Marlon yet, but we've had 7 plumbers assess our home's drainage system and Marlon was the MOST comprehensive, most patient, most creative, most knowledgeable, the most communicative and clear about his craft. This guy lives and breathes plumbing and loves his job so much his enthusiasm exudes. That's the kind of plumber I want on speed dial.
He helped us understand our sewer drain system by running his video camera through our pipes. 6/7 of the plumbers we consulted with didn't even bother to do this, but Marlon did, because he values knowledge sharing and teaching his clients.

He is licensed in California and in Illinois, where licensure is far more stringent.

He also gave us a very reasonable rate for our issue and informed us of all of the ways we can self-care for our plumbing system in the future.

Had water heater replacement recently. Dmitry was on time and very efficient and knowledgible. He went above and beyond duty to complete the job. Their prices were very competitive. Highly recomend United Plumbing.

It looks like we're having the same problem as the other 1 stars. He came out on Thursday to snake the pipes to our kitchen since it was clogged. It was ok for about half a day and was really slow Friday and pretty much clogged Sunday. My wife tried to get a hold of him on Monday but he has not responded and now it's Tuesday he still hasn't responded.
We uncapped the opening so the water is now spewing out to the alley which is better than being clogged.
We are getting another guy to get it unclogged.

We also had a problem with getting a receipt like others. He said he would send it to my wife, but haven't seen it.

Very disapointed.

We're very happy with the service we received from Steve at Local Local Plumbing. He responded to our request for quote quickly (on a holiday weekend no less), came out to inspect and estimate the same morning, completed the work quickly, and did it all at a very reasonable price. Great plumber, highly recommended!

My experience with City of Sewer was best in class!  The garbage disposal at my rental property stopped working, Steven T quickly responded with  a quote for both repair and replacement, scheduled an appointment over text, arrived on time the next day, completed quality work quickly and accepted payment remotely.  If you are seeking quality, no fuss service look no further!

BEWARE!!!  We had a very disturbing experience with this contractor.  After an outdoor electrical fire destroyed our tankless water heater, and with only a week until we were hosting Thanksgiving, this place was recommended to us.  The quote was THREE TIMES what we paid to have the water heater installed two years ago!  We expected the quote to be a little more than we previously paid, given most things are more expensive post-Covid as well as the rush nature of the job, but THREE TIMES the cost is absolutely ridiculous!  Definitely tried to take advantage of us when we were in an awful situation.  This contractor can't be trusted.

ED was super nice guy and professional I did hire him for the replacement of a toilet I did collect three more quotes but the lowest with same day installation just got from Safety Plumbing that really works safe and safe the life of our plumbing equipment. I did really appreciate there clean work and honesty . I recommend to all.

Kiet and his colleague were nice, friendly, awesome and quick! He answered my call regarding my water heater leaking and he told me he was in the area and would come right over to give me a quote. He was at my house in 30 mins took a look at my water heater and told me I needed a new one due to how old it was and that it looks to have been leaking for awhile. The leak was so bad that the plywood was bowing and mushrooms started growing. The water heater I had was 30 years old. He then proceeded to tell me what needed to get done and provided me with a quote which I agreed on. He drained the water tank and left to get the supplies. He came back with his colleague and got straight to work. They had my water heater installed in no time. They kept the work area clean and cleaned up the water from the leak. I am so happy with the work they did!

3 years later, I still have Bakhtiar's phone number saved and call him for any and all plumbing needs.

Not only is he extremely responsive and reliable, he is affordable.

Most importantly, the reason I continue to call him is because he is extremely trustworthy. If something doesn't need to be fixed or replaced, he will tell you.

Edward answered my call in and showed up within 90 min.   Assessed the issues and in short order had the main line cleared out.  Charged a fair $225.00 for the call.    No more stuck toilets and showers in the house, yeah!   Peace in the house.
