Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA

These guys came out to clear our clogged main line last November.  Giovanni had to get on the roof as he claimed there was no in-ground sewer clean out (and getting on the roof was more expensive, but we thought we had no choice). Overall, he seemed like he was in a big rush. Guess what, 4 months later, the problem happened again (toilets won't flush, sewage backing up into our bathtub and shower).  We called San Jose Drain and Main and no response. I called someone else and they did a camera inspection and finally diagnosed the problem right (major roots in the pipes).  This other plumber found we had an in-ground sewer clean-out just not where Giovanni was looking...seems he was in too big of a hurry to find it.  These people have a whole lot of 5-star reviews, but may be too busy to actually do the job right.

I had EJ plumbing come out to replace my sewer drain and change out my water supply line. They were fast, efficient, fairly priced, and did am excellent job. I no longer have the headache of a clogged drain that backed up into my shower.

Trieu helped us to replaced our water heater 3 hours after I sent the quote request on yelp. Nice work and reasonable price. Highly recommended

We needed a new garbage disposal urgently, because our old one had sprung a serious leak. Affordable plumbing was immediately responsive, fixed it that same day, and even provided his own warranty for the work. We have saved his number for ALL of our future plumbing needs.

If you have a drain problem, don't start calling around, TRUST ME, call Khoa and have him come out and take a look. We had a bad stopped main drain and called the previous guy who came out, after a few hours of noise and banging the pipes with a snake, no change, still 100% blocked. He takes our money and says must be a collapsed pipe and wants many thousands to dig up the yard. I'm like no not buying that and find Khoa and call him. He came right over and we discussed the issue and next thing you know he's got our main line completely cleared with a hydrojet. Come to find out he was at our next door neighbor not long ago without knowing it. Spoke with my neighbor and they had a great experience as well. Finding a honest nice plumber is not easy, believe all the reviews and give Khoa a call and you will be like all the others...happy satisfied customer wonder where has he been all these years!!!

Update: I wanted to show you Khoa has the right tools to get the job done right. Can't say enough great things about Khoa, he not only cleared the clog he was able to show us with video the issue is tree roots but even more importantly Khoa explained how the issue is on the City side of the property and totally guided me on how to force the City to come out and ultimately take care of the issue. The camera was awesome, Khoa showed us the tree roots are entering where the cast iron meets clay in the drop off section of the main, very nicely done! If you want someone who truly cares about you and your plumbing, you have got to try Khoa. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts, you Mr Khoa are just a wonderful human being.

Thai at local rooter was very responsive, had all the right equipment, and was so so much better than the original plumber my home warranty sent out. Thai had a bigger machine, and a way better pressure system to clear and flush the main lines. He worked hard to clear everything and I can see him sweating and doing everything he could so I can get some drain relief. Solid guy. A+ experience.    Only wish Thai and Local Rooter was the first plumbing company that home warranty sent out. Call them!

Our bathroom was backed up and overflowing. Found Drain Rooter on Yelp, called them and the owner, Todd, came out within a couple hours on a Sunday night. He assessed the problem and alleviated the immediate problem. But it was clear we had a more serious issue and he came the next day to install a clean-out and then it turned out that we had a problem in the street. He also came back the next day and helped us through the process with the city. Nothing but good things to say. Wish everyone were so capable and helpful.

Like many of the reviews, i had a backup at the most inconvenient time. Late Friday night backup from the toilet. A bad one - sewage coming up. It was horrifying. I called and texted and handyplumbingman replied!  It was close to midnight. Who does that?! I was so impressed. He has a calming voice and I just listened to his advice. And he was right. The next morning he came out and fixed my backup. A real nice gentleman. And very quick. Thank you!

I had a second problem that came up again on a Friday evening!  And again HandyPlumbingMan came in half an hour and to my rescue. I'm so glad I found Marco.

I needed a last minute kitchen drain and plumbing repair. They answered the phone and came the next morning as scheduled. The problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired. Very professional,  and would highly recommend for another plumbing issue.

I highly recommend Marlon for plumbing issues! We were in a bind because a different plumbing company flaked out on us, so I called Marlon and he came over right away. He was dependable and knowledgeable, was able to resolve our issue, and gave us lots of information to ensure we understood the situation. We'll definitely use his services again!

We had a leaking P Trap under our sink and called United Plumbing. They answered the phone and were very nice and professional. Our technician Tony was very friendly, worked quickly and did a great job! Their price was reasonable and they stayed within the quoted budget. As good as it gets. Highly recommend!

Had an excellent experience with City of Sewer to clear out kitchen drain. East to coordinate over phone and text and quick to account last minute request. Highly recommended.

Ed truly deserves the #1 honest plumber name. He was super helpful and fixed the problem with the mechanisms in the tank of my toilet quickly, efficiently, and was a gentleman the entire time. So many plumbers will take advantage of a single woman, but Ed treated me fairly and with respect. I've been seriously overcharged by other plumbers, but Ed gave me a fair price and did a great job. I'd recommend him to anyone. He's truly the best!

We needed a sink and faucet to be installed.   Called and got an appointment.   They showed up.   This was the first time we had someone come and work on our house since Covid-19.   He had a mask on.  My husband asked if we should have masks.   He told us know and then shared that he doesn't really believe in the Virus and just wears it because he has to.  

Quoted us almost $500 just install a faucet and connect sink to drain pipe and work on our toilet that he really didn't look at.  

My husband told him no thank you.   He said we'll be getting a bill for $90 for giving an estimate.   We weren't informed of this over the phone by the company.   Haven't received one yet and better not.    

Be careful calling them and make sure they tell you about any charges for just showing up.

Ed was really helpful and fixed our plumbing problems! He provided me with options and suggestions for fixing our slow drainage across the toilet and sink . He didn't rush through and did the job diligently . I highly recommend his services

I reached out through Yelp requesting a consultation for some plumbing issues. Kiet responded to my message within minutes and asked to speak over the phone. Called him and explained the situation, and he was able to come out the same day to our house and take a look. Turns out we had no plumbing issues, so Kiet not only saved us money, but he also did not charge us for the consultation.

Amazing service, will definitely be going back to him if we ever need plumbing again!

My 85 year old mother's water heater broke and water was spilling out onto her garage floor. She was in a panic and didn't know what to do. I looked on Yelp for a plumber in her area gave her three numbers to call. Khan called her back and was able to do come out the same day. In fact, he arrived in less that an hour. (I later found out that he actually went out of his normal service territory in order to get to her.) He and one other person replaced the water heater. They wore masks and worked fast. They knew what they were doing. Khan was professional, courteous and charged a fair price. Thank you, Khan!

Wouldn't know if these guys were any good at plumbing since they never showed up for the appointment.
I left 3 voicemails and did not receive a call back until the next day.  They said they got busy at another job so couldn't make it.  That would have been fine if I received a call letting me know.
I left work early to meet this guy and he didn't show.  Total disrespect for someone's time and totally unprofessional.
