Giovanni and Sam's team are great!  They've helped service two of my homes and each time have been super responsive.  They have been extremely professional and courteous in all of our interactions.  On their first visit, they replaced the bathroom faucet and old pipes for us.  On their second visit to my tenant's home, they replaced a water heater and leaky toilet for us.  Both my tenant and I agree that are very knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining the situation and options.  They will definitely be our first to call again in the future!

EJ respond so quickly. Arrive at the same day after I called them and fixed my garbage disposal in just 1 hour. Joksan really did a fantastic job and he even checked other sealant if sealed properly.

It's hard to find honest contractors, but this business is IT. Came to my house to do some minor plumbing work, got it done fast and efficiently! Then we hired him to run a camera through a pipe outside. He stood in the gap for us with the city when he didn't have to. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have found this business! Will be calling them for any future plumbing needs!

I just called and the owner picked up. My issue was a not a project he does. He gave me a lot of helpful advice, including some safety warnings, which are super-valuable. He even ballparked what other people might charge me, which was a lot, and then told me how I could do it myself.

My dishwasher drainage is clogged & I asked quote to fix it. Khoa gave me quote in just a couple of minutes after I ask quote through yelp . Then he asked me when I want it to be fixed. I said ASAP & he stopped by in a hour! What a quick response. After arrival, he checked all drain pipes & it's OK & the problem is identified as Motor pump failure which is out of his specialty. He gave me good advice what to do next.  He didn't charge me anything even though it's not his fault. What a professional & honest person. We had a great experience with this company. We had an emergency last night and called around 8:45 pm and there was a technician at the door at 9:30PM. David was great! He looked thoroughly into the issue and let us know our options and got the issue resolved. Should we ever have to call again we would definitely call them again and ask for David!

Our pipes were clogged and sewage backed up into our bathtub and shower. Called and they were able to come right away. The plumber worked diligently to unclog our system. I was so grateful for the speedy response and resolution. I will definitely use him again!

Recently we had a pretty bad problem with a clogged pipe, which was an emergency. It was evening already and frankly we didn't expect it to be fixed on the same day. Most companies were outside of their business hours. One contractor came and pushed for some complicated multi thousand $ project to replace all the pipes in the house. When we contacted Marco, we were amazed how quickly the team came and fixed the issue. No pipe replacement, no extra charges. The area was left crystal clean and everything works great so far!

And when we really needed to replace an old cracked pipe the price from Marco was almost 50% lower than the quote we got from a competing company!

my business was in need of immediate plumbing service at 11:00 pm at night I called j&k they were here in less then 15 minutes . job was done successfully very experienced, friendly  and reasonable in price I will definitely keep them in my contact for future thanx j&k team.

We experienced cross over issue with the tankless water heater.  Upon replacing all the cartridges in 3 separate shower valves, the problem did not go away.  We listed the project in Yelp and Marlon responded with great enthusiasm.  He suggested our circular pump might cause the problem.  The manual operating the pump is not ideal as the solenoid does not respond as fast.  We restored timer control of the valve, then the problem seems to go away.  Marlon is a thorough person.  He followed up our problem and did not charge any house visit.  I would recommend him for any complex plumbing or water heater issues.  He is seasoned and knowledgeable.

The drain hose was broken apart from my shower stall and I was unable to fix it myself. I was referred to United Plubing by Home Depot, and within an hour, I got a call from the company to asked for the details of the issue. I was busy when he called so we reconnected the next day (Saturday). Joe was the person I spoke with, had dispatched his technician named Alexandr. Alex arrived punctually. He was able to identify the issue, and he was detail oriented enough to find that there was a crack in the plastic conduit (drainage). He quickly told Joe about this issue and I was offered to get the fixed the same time. I was beyond words of how responsive, professional, and efficient Alexandr was. The rate they charged was very reasonable and I'm back on my feet within a few hours. I have NO doubt that I will come back to United Plumbing should I come across any plumbing issues in the future. They are one of the few that you can trust these days. GREAT WORK!!!

I had to switch out my kitchen faucet and Steven was fast to respond. He was able to send someone out within an hour and the installation took about 45 minutes.

I didn't like the placement of the handle so Steven sent someone the next day to fix it.

Prices are reasonable and job was done well. Would recommend!

Excellent service! Ed and his crew were on-time, professional, and thorough. Took a lot less time than I had anticipated and they made sure everything was closed up (i.e., crawl space). I definitely recommend Ed and his crew for any of your sewer and drain needs. Thanks guys!

Addendum to my review of 7/20/21:  I checked the San Jose Permits website and this is the language with regard to the mandating of permits:

1.  It brings accountability with regard to workmanship and ensures the job is done correctly; 2.  It's required by law and illegal work may incur citations and reconstruction costs and 3.  Liability carriers will not cover the damages to or caused by the construction done without a permit.  

Crown Plumbing's estimator told me I don't need a permit and I got 2 substantially different estimates--one in person and one in writing, as detailed below.

I got a reply and a phone call from the owner after I declined the double-the-cost written estimate, who told me the technician should have known better and was basically in error.  After 25 years of installing hot water heaters, the technician, as well as the owner, are likely fully aware that permits are required or there is even a second serious problem.  The permit requirement is the second issue.  The 2,195.00 in-person estimate and the $4,351,00 written estimate an hour later is the first issue.  I will not be doing business with them.  I do not want anymore contact from the owner.

My advice to consumers is get it in writing; check reviews and make sure you have a permit, which YOU, the consumer can get yourself at a FRACTION of the inflated cost.  

7/20/21:  Today I got an estimate in person from Crown Plumbing for $2,195.00 for a new hot water heater...with no permit as permits are not required per their representative and that a permit was approximately $500.00 more.  The estimator indicated everything that he would need to do which included earthquake straps, a line down to the crawlspace, a drip pan, and all the accoutrements needed to complete the job.  The only issue was whether to get a permit or not to get a permit.  The in-person quoted price of $2,195.00 did not include a permit because I allegedly did not need one, the estimator said.  

Then, within an hour, I got a written estimate via email for $4,351.00 which included the earthquake straps, the pan, etc.  Funny how the estimate doubled once the technician walked out of the door.  So an in-person estimate was $2,195.00, then the REAL estimate in writing came in at $4.351.00, more than double what i was told by the company less than an hour earlier.  I will not be doing business with a company who does things like this.  Beware.

We run into sudden and very complicated failures with toilet water running due to a broken part, incoming water switch for toilet not working and the main water switch not working that were just identified after the running water. We called Right Plumbing Services and Eddie answered the call right away and promised to be on site within 30 mins. Eddie came in time and fixed all issues. We are happy with Eddie's job and would use Right Plumbing Services again for future issue.

I contacted Kiet because I needed a plumber to replace a couple of out bathroom faucets. And, I was happy to find out that he was able to help with replacing our sprinkle valves as well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I will definitely contact him again if we need plumbing/construction works done around our house. Kiet was very responsive, easy to work with and helpful. I feel like his pricing was fair compare to other licensed plumbing companies in the area.

My water heater supply line was leaking and the shut off valve wasn't working completely so it was either get it fixed asap or have no water to the entire house. Contacted Khan and received a response within 10 minutes letting me know he could be out within two hours. He showed up within that time frame and got the job done quickly, for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend and will be my first call the next time I have a plumbing problem!

It was a pleasure having Dave come fix our clogging issue with the garage sink. It was fast and efficient.

Dave was very polite and respectful. He put on shoe covers and that's one important detail that I always pay attention to. If you can do that without being told; it shows that you respect my home and that's a great plus with me.

If I ever have a plumbing issue again; Drain Masters would be the first people I would call.
