I got acquainted with Giovani when he helped a fellow plumber, Vic's Handy Plumbing in clearing a major drainage issue. To make a long short after installing a clean out and dredging up mud at the end of 125 ft. snake, both Giovani and Vic concluded that something abnormal was blocking my sewer line. Eventually, because of Giovani and Vic's efforts, the City of San Jose confirmed that my lateral sewer line wasn't connected to the main line.

Giovani just came completed a threefold job for me: Replacing a washing leaking washing machine drain pipe under my house, putting in a new lint connector from my dryer to the outside of my house and replacing a stripped outdoor faucet handle that wouldn't stop leaking.

I find Giovani's work effort outstanding, incredibly knowledgeable on resolving plumbing issues and just top notch!

Nothing like coming home late only to discover one bathroom flooded and brown water coming up in the tub drains, it was like a bad science fiction movie.   We were told a 'cleanout' needed to be installed (I now know more about that topic than I ever thought possible).  Gary and Mark arrived here at 10am.  It was an all day job, at a reasonable price.  We will likely have them replace pipe that goes out to the street as our massive roots are causing all sorts of problems.   Trees are nice but not when they put a stranglehold on your plumbing.   Additional bonus is that they are local business. we always support local business owners when possible.

I had a kitchen faucet valve that needed replacing because it wouldn't shutoff the water. Trieu was quick to respond via message and come out the next day to swap out both valves to get them both to be quarter turn values. Replacing the valve also took care of an issue where the cold water would stop when turned on too much. Part of the problem came from the feeling that our water pressure was high. They were quick to check on the way out and give a call explaining it was on the high end but not too high to need a fix. Glad I went with Handy Rooter to come out and get the fix.

Excellent work! Michael responded to our inquiry within a few minutes and was prompt to respond with all our  follow up questions. He happened to be available same-day and gave a window of 6-8pm. Michael texted when he was on his way and arrived around 6:30pm. He took COVID precautions and wore shoe covering when he entered our home. After a quick look around, he got to work replacing our faucet and repairing a broken hot water valve. The project was a little more complicated than he planned, but he was still able to wrap up around 8pm. The faucet looks great and is working nicely. The price was fair, the work was professional, and Michael was courteous throughout. We would definitely recommend Affordable Plumbing Services.

As a property manager, I hired him on 2 occasions for a rental and my home. The rental was leaking water from the shower tub valve that needs to be replaced. Called 3-5 other places, got some high estimate and costly solution as a fix. Called Khoa, he arrived timely on Memorial Day, provided diagnosis and repair done in 2 hours at a very competitive price. Have not gotten same problem since then, glad that we paid that price.

Called him in for second job which rerouting drainpipe and water lines for washer/dryer. Stellar works as usual, I might have rushed him a bit. Would consider calling in again.

Paul and Todd came over quickly, snaked and hydro-jetted my plumbing.  Paul then repaired a minor crack under the home.  Great service.  Polite, honest and fair.

A week before Christmas, on a Saturday, I needed a plumber to deal with an overflowing toilet.  I checked Yelp and chose HandyPlumbingMan because of their many positive reviews and that it is listed as a family-owned business.  I got a call back in less than an hour and Marco and another plumber were at my house less than 2 hours later.  Turns out I had 2 issues--a rotted flapper in the toilet and a root problem in a pipe.  

They snaked out the pipes and determined that the blockage was under the street.  Marco explained that I needed to contact West Bay Sanitary District to deal with it.  

They could have left then, but instead Marco talked to the person at West Bay after I called and even waited for the West Bay service person to come out.  Together, they cleared the blockage under the street.  HandyPlumbingMan did not have to do this, and I appreciate their extra help very much.

While we were out at the street dealing with the blockage, neighbors walked by and said hello to Marco.  They turned out to be previous customers of HandyPlumbingMan.  Marco said he's done a lot of work in my neighborhood and clearly has happy customers.  

A few days later, a couple of other plumbers from HandyPlumbingMan came back to swap the flappers in all of my toilets (I decided to do this since they all were installed at the same time and to avoid a problem later.)  While they were here, they went under the house to check my pipes.  They showed me a video of very corroded pipes and suggested I get them replaced.  

While the pipes were not yet failing, they were probably 50 years old.  To avoid an emergency, and because they came through for me on the previous work, I decided to have HandyPlumbingMan replace the pipes.  I did not get bids from other plumbers.  Marco answered all of my questions and guaranteed his work.  A team of plumbers came to the house the day after Christmas and did all the work in one day.  It was expensive and maybe someone else could have done it cheaper, but I'm happy with their work and glad it was completed in a day.

If I ever need a plumber, I would definitely call Marco.

My water heater igniter was down last night I called them today and they quickly responded, came out within two hours and fixed it in a few minutes. Marlon was fantastic. He was thorough, pleasant, reasonably priced, and very professional. He installed a whole house filter in the garage for us and it looks and works great. We just moved to San Jose from the Peninsula - I was worried about finding a reliable plumber and I can confidently say that we found our plumber. Highly recommended!

Rapid response time and excellent support. Daniel's team installed a kitchen faucet, which became dislodged a couple weeks after installation. I assumed an improper installation, so they came out to have a look. After removing the faucet, they found a broken piece that needed replacement. I called the manufacturer to send out a replacement, and Daniel came out for a third time to reinstall the faucet at no charge!

I was very impressed by the service, considering the damage was not their fault. New faucets are using more and more plastic pieces for cost saving, and they are not as durable as the older models. Thanks, Daniel!

We had an emergency water leak on the street. Steve was very quick to respond and accommodate our emergency request. He was reasonable and quick to provide a temporary solution to get water to our home.
He finished the work on time and also straightened some of the water lines.

We were notified by the city that we had a water leak as our usage was very high, compared to previous months. We contacted #1 Honest Plumber. Ed responded within 5 minutes. He was understanding and very accommodative. The person he sent to our home was a consummate professional. Diligent. Methodically checked every bathroom... and correctly identified the problem in our irrigation system (which I pointed out as a perenial wet spot). He dug up the area and found the leak. He would have fixed it if I would have accepted his quote for $450. I did not. He charged $150 for the 50 minutes he spent identifying the problem. In summary, this company lives up to it's name. They are very honest. Prompt and extremely responsive; albeit a bit on the pricey side.

Used them last week when I noticed the ceiling in garage leaking. They came out that day and after the plumber(forgot his name) did a few tests quickly determined it was the seal around toliet was leaking. Sealed it and ran some tests, no leaks! The plumber was super nice and spent a great deal of time to determine the problem.Will use Crown again!

We are remodeling our restroom and ran into a few issues installing a new toilet etc. We were able to secure an appointment right away. Communication was quick and easy. My house had some lingering plumbing issues since we bought the house. However, I called when replacing my floors showed a bathroom leak. Kiet was honest about a simple fix that I could do myself. He fairly quoted 3 of the lingering items.

Within 72 hours after initially calling, all 3 things were fixed with the red item done for free!

I have called for services two times now with AAA Affordable Plumbing.  The first one a few months ago was for a clogged drain from the kitchen and today for a leaking laundry sink pipe.   Both times AAA came and fixed the problem quickly and at a very reasonable price.  In fact today, Khan just needed to tighten the fastener on the pipe and said there was no charge!  I highly recommend Khan and AAA Affordable Plumbing.  They are really honest and trustworthy.

The previous tenant did some crazy stuff in my back yard.  When it rained really hard back in March, my deck and back yard flooded!  Ed came out, fixed the clogged drain pipe in no time.

Get this, my dishwasher air gap was leaking water under the sink.  Because Ed was so efficient at fixing the clogged drainage pipe outside, he fixed this leak for free!

These guys know their plumbing.  Good people.  I'm a fan.  Will be calling them for all my plumbing needs in the future.
