Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA

This is the best plumber in the San Jose area. Believe it or not, our home had a fully clogged sink, and 5 different plumbers couldn't solve it.  Two of them suggested advanced techniques that need to remove the wall and would cost 3000 dollars, and one of them just give us a $950 quote. We kept finding new plumbers and this man is like a hero, he comes in and solve the issues in 40min. Very reasonable price and very nice working attitude. Definitely recommend San Jose Drain and Main!!

These guys are awesome. We had a major back up at our house and called them on the weekend. He was here within an hour. Our job ended up being much bigger than expected but he walked us through everything and explained every option. We had to add a new clean out which involved the city and a lot of work. I've worked with a lot of plumbers in the past but Trieu is now our go to. I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him on our next plumbing issue. Thank you Trieu

Michael is punctual, reliable, and experienced. He fixed the valves of two bathrooms for us within an hour. We really appreciate his work!

If you have a drain problem, don't start calling around, TRUST ME, call Khoa and have him come out and take a look. We had a bad stopped main drain and called the previous guy who came out, after a few hours of noise and banging the pipes with a snake, no change, still 100% blocked. He takes our money and says must be a collapsed pipe and wants many thousands to dig up the yard. I'm like no not buying that and find Khoa and call him. He came right over and we discussed the issue and next thing you know he's got our main line completely cleared with a hydrojet. Come to find out he was at our next door neighbor not long ago without knowing it. Spoke with my neighbor and they had a great experience as well. Finding a honest nice plumber is not easy, believe all the reviews and give Khoa a call and you will be like all the others...happy satisfied customer wonder where has he been all these years!!!

Update: I wanted to show you Khoa has the right tools to get the job done right. Can't say enough great things about Khoa, he not only cleared the clog he was able to show us with video the issue is tree roots but even more importantly Khoa explained how the issue is on the City side of the property and totally guided me on how to force the City to come out and ultimately take care of the issue. The camera was awesome, Khoa showed us the tree roots are entering where the cast iron meets clay in the drop off section of the main, very nicely done! If you want someone who truly cares about you and your plumbing, you have got to try Khoa. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts, you Mr Khoa are just a wonderful human being.

I never gave bad review to any business before and I feel terrible writing about this, so I'll keep the technician's name confidential. One of the bathrooms and the office at our studio had bad smell and i suspected it came from the sewage. Last Friday I called the company and a technician showed up and said the pipes in the bathroom were dry so he filled them up with water which took him 10 minutes. I asked him to rip out the utility sink in the office and cover up the pipe cuz we don't use it and the gas leaks out at night when it gets cold. He gave me $165 per hour quote and said it could be 2-3 hours of work. I agreed to it, no bargain, cuz I trusted him and wanted it to be done. I also asked him how i paid him for Friday and he said later. We made appt for today Monday between 9am and 10am. At 10:25am he showed up, no apologies for being late, asked how the bathroom smelled and I said the smell was gone and thanked him. When we got in the office, he said it was $225-250 per hour for commercial property instead of $165, and that he didn't know how long it would take to finish the work and it could be 4-5 hours, and he wanted to charge me another hour of the new rate on top of all that for Friday. I got upset, not because I had to pay more money, but because I were very disappointed about how shady, dishonest and unprofessional he was. He stepped outside to make a phone call, and 10 minutes later I ran outside to find him and tell him that I would just pay for an hour of his work last Friday to be fair and I'll use someone else to fix the office. But he has disappeared.

I guess for other people who left good reviews on Yelp, they might be lucky to find a good technician. It just wasn't the case for me and I don't want to waste my time searching for luck. Be careful when you call this company.

Todd has done a great job resolving a sewer concern just now, one year after we hired him last time.

We suspected that sewer water was flowing out of our planter, and we contacted him through Yelp to ask for guidance, as we didn't really witness a leakage on our own. He instructed us to reproduce the problem, and as soon as we were able to reproduce the sewer leakage he arrived at our house within 30 minutes.

It turned out our issue was a combination of a clogged sewer line and a missing cap on a clear out that we don't know actually existed underneath the planter, so that when the flow in the drain is large enough, water gets released from the clear out. He unclogged the drain and then replaced the cap. All was done within an hour.

If you're looking for a trustworthy, honest and excellent plumber, please look no further then Marco!

I got an estimate with another company (I won't name it here) who wanted to rip me off by $2,000. They suggested I needed to replace the entire shower valve ($800 value min), rip the tile or go through the back by cutting holes in the drywall, and then have me pay for the repairs for the drywall (my HOA wasn't to keen on the idea of a plumber putting holes in common area hall where he would need to access the pipes).

So all in all I was looking at some serious money wasted until I got a second opinion and Marco came to the rescue. Not only was he upfront with me that he will try to fix the valve first (which the first guy said he couldn't do and I need a new one), but said he would do his best in not destroying my tile (maybe putting a small hole and covering it up with smitty plate).

After squeezing me in the day I called him (a huge favor he gave me), he was able to diagnose and fix the problem without even taking anything apart (so I'm not sure what the other guy was doing). All in all, he was in and out in 10 mins and literally saved me thousands!!!

I cannot recommend Marco enough and now I found the only plumber that I will use going forward. Sincerely, thank you, Marco. You're the man!

Cant' say enough about what wonderful service Joe provided! Sent email at nearly 10 pm Friday night....water heater thermocouple replaced by 3 pm Saturday!!  Joe went out of his way to make sure we were up and running with hot water.  He squeezed us into his busy Saturday and was extremely pleasant and very kind.  He even gave us a 30 day guarrantee because he wants to make sure his work stands strong. We also discussed tree root removal from pipes.  He gave us his honest opinion and didn't take advantage of doing the job and charging us for something we can do ourselves. What a wonderful experience from a true professional!! Thank you Joe!!  Will be calling you for future plumbing needs!

Best plumber ever!   Marlon and assistant showed up to deal with shower problem..diagnosed issue, even got american standard to ship parts for free ...later determined some days later they were on huge back order so he picked up the parts elsewhere, charged cost no markup...came back and put the parts in got everything working, very reasonable flat rate (even with multiple visits needed), friendly chatty respectful of house (eg bootys over shoes, cleaned up etc)

Ed was terrific. On a busy holiday (Thanksgiving) he squeezed me in for a flooded kitchen. He was great in assessing the situation and fixing a part that would help stop the flooding. Would definitely hire again!

I called Safety Plumbing Services because I had a leak in the kitchen sink and they came out on a short notice and fixed the issue efficiently. Had a sewage backup on a Saturday morning.  It was a mess. Thanh came out within 10-15 minutes. Cleaned out the roots from the sewage pipe with a cable and made recommendations to avoid future problems. He was really efficient, polite, and communicative...not to mention quick. I can't tell you what a relief it was to have him there! Plumbing problems are the worst, and I would definitely recommend this company.

Personally, I don't like to write review or comments but for Khan's work, I don't mind taking the time to share with you all the great works he had done.  I believe he truly deserved a 5 stars rating.  He fixed some of plumbing issues at my rental property.  He was very patience enough to points out all the issues we had and find a solution to fix the problems.  Also, he did a wonderful job replacing my 75 gallons water heater and the circulation pump at my house.  I have to say, I was very impressed with his customer service as he was very responsive and knowledgeable about the problems we had with the circulation pump that was making some strange noise (it is not Khan's work but the valve was not working properly a few days later after the installation).  He did come over to fix the problems and indeed show up early or on time for his appointment.

You will not find a lot of people like Khan that is willing to do things for his customers and making sure they are happy with the result.  I can tell he does it from his heart but not just for the money.  He tried to minimize your cost and will recommend you to repair/replace only when it is necessary.  

Khan's professionalism, knowledge of his works and the confidence he conveyed in convincing me that AAA Affordable Plumbing would make sure that their customers would be satisfied with the results when the work was completed.  I would highly Khan's work to my friends and family.

0 stars - just like the others I've been waiting at home for 2 hours.  No call - no show.  I've left 2 messages....  Also like the others I took time away from my business to sit at home.  I may send them a bill for my time that they wasted.  Don't call these guys =(
