John came over and didn't even look at the spot I asked for. I don't understand what he did. I think he doesn't know what to do.
Also, I called for asking to redo or fixing that I already told him, he rejected it.
He is very unprofessional.

Jaime has been our go-to guy for the last few years. Why go anywhere else when he & his crew do the job in a fast & efficient manner? It's rare to find someone who actually returns phonecalls within minutes. Seriously--think about it. How many times have you called to hire someone for a repair and it takes them hours or days to even return the call, let alone fix the problem? We've recommended him to several friends who all report back with the same thing-fast, efficient & friendly.
We like him so much we gave him a piano for his daughter. Yes, really :)

It was late late in the weekday evening, a small leaky valve appeared under my sink that soon turned into a gusher of gigantic proportions.  Called these folks, was told plumber would show up in approximately 1 hour.   Mariano B. gregarious, professional and efficient showed up 30 minutes later.  He quickly diagnosed the problem, informed us of price for completion of task, before starting any work.  Being it was a school and work night, Mariano worked promptly to replace the valve, cleaned up the work area and maintained such professionalism at a time of the evening when most folks would be asleep!  Highly recommend Mariano!

You've found one of the best plumbers in the Bay Area!  Super responsive and very reasonable prices.  They've responded immediately to 2 emergencies and have done same day water heater replacements.  They've even helped me in Mountain View which is out of their service area, and always at lower prices than any other place I've called.

This is a great plumber! John responded right away. This is a plumber who knows what he's doing. He fixed the problem right away. John is polite and courteous. He does not over-charge. In fact, after I wrote a check, I asked him about another issue (an afterthought) which he also fixed immediately. I offered to pay him more money and he refused. We called Plumbtree because of a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling.  Based on its location and other evidence I was pretty sure it was a problem with a toilet wax seal on the second floor.  Anthony was dispatched to our house, and was incredibly courteous and polite.  He took a look at things and agreed that the wax seal was the probably culprit but promised that he'd get to the bottom of it regardless.  

He offered two choices - either replace the seal or replace the toilet; we chose the latter, because our toilet was very old and we wanted one with a different height anyway.  

He offered to check our pressure regulator and showed us that it was broken.  Since he had to turn off the water to the house to make some of the repairs, he also checked our water heater to make sure there was no recirculating pump.  He noticed that when I hired different plumbers 6 years ago to replace the water heater, they hadn't installed the overflow tank according to code, and that there was a leak caused by their use of galvanized parts.  

He dealt with the toilet in a couple of hours, including going and retrieving a new one, but Plumbtree had to send two plumbers back the next day to deal with the pressure regulator and the water heater. They also fixed a leaky delta tub faucet for us - I supplied the parts, and he did the labor for a reasonable price.  Finally, they found a small gas leak from a joint where tape had worn down coming into the water heater, and fixed that at no charge.  They even replaced some valves with quarter-turn valves for us and reversed the order of the main water shutoff and the pressure regulator, which had been installed backwards when the house was built.

Their price was quite reasonable (for the Bay Area, at least), and they through in some freebies (including a 10% Yelp discount that had just expired and an upgrade on the toilet).  They were all very respectful of our property and time, and were careful not to let the dog out or soil anything.  Anthony even cleaned and sanitized our bathroom floor when he was done.

I will definitely use them again the next time I have a plumbing problem.

This is the second time that I have hired Jeremy to detect leaks. He continues to do an excellent job. He is very precise and fast in finding leaks. I highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for a reliable leak-detection service.

We needed urgent help with a clogged toilet.  Plunger would not take care of the stoppage, so we started calling plumbing companies.  No one was available on the same day.  With Quality Plus, the plumber came to our house 12 minutes after the phone call, took care of the problem very quickly and left the bathroom clean.  Really appreciate the prompt, efficient help.

This was my first time using Tony's Plumbing. They were referred by a friend who used them. They were awesome and very reasonable. They are honest and upfront don't try and pull one over on you either. They had my tub faucet fixed within and hour and that's going and buying the new part. So very happy with them and I would recommend them anytime. Good Plumbers are hard to find and I found the best!

They were very prompt and responsive. Got us out of trouble on the long weekend. Good skilled team. Solved my problem, but I think the prices were very high like 100% higher than my other regular plumbing companies. The bigger job was not on long weekend. e.g. the regular rate for snaking a drain is 2X the price of other rooters charging on a regular business day.

I'd recommend him for the job if you're willing to pay the extra $$ for (hopefully) peace of mind.

Excellent service.  The plumber came out to check out a bad odor coming from our bathroom which I suspected was due to backup in our sewage pipe.  Turns out it was due to the fact that the sink and bathtub drains had dried up (we hadn't run the water in that bathroom in awhile) allowing sewer gas to accumulate.  It was a simple fix as long as your plumber is knowledgeable, which he was.  Just in case he did a few tests to make sure there were no blockages in the pipes.  After this he didn't even charge me for the diagnostics since he didn't have to use any parts, etc.  It was such a pleasant experience, hard to find.  Definitely using them again!

I bought a house with leaks under 2 bath tubs and 1 shower stall according to the house inspector.  I didn't have much luck getting people to come fix it (everyone seems to be busy recently).  Bernard was able to squeeze me in on a relatively short notice but he had to reschedule once since he was too busy.  Once he got here he started assessing the situation.  He communicated very well.  He finished the job on time, fixed all the leaks and also reset the loose toilet in the master bedroom for me.  And the price was reasonable, right around his original estimate. I am very satisfied as a customer and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Once again Mario's to the rescue. Wax toilet ring failed, but resolved by lunchtime the next day. Thank you, Manuel & Mario's.

Bakhtiar khan was very responsive from the onset he gave us a reasonable quote and everything was very well explained. The installation was beyond our expectations.

We are satisfied customer. The water heater that was installed for us is a special hydronic water heater for our condominium on second floor. I called couple plumbing companies to get the estimate but I was comfortable with working with Bakhtiar khan as he was honest and straightforward and explained all that was needed.

His business ethic is not to just make a sale but to make a long term relationship of service with the customers, making money isn't his first priority.  He offered us with repair and installation options and told us of the pro an cons, but totally left the decision up to us.

Fremont plumbing  water heater came to the recuse when we were confused and unsure what to do. Khan and his team were delight to deal with. These guys are top notch and very efficient, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their water heater services.

Came out right on time to fix a clogged sink.  Super friendly and very honest about the work, it wasn't an easy clog but he got it done and provided advice about what to do if it happens again.  Will definitely be my go to plumber from now on.

I hired them based on the reviews here and they did not disappoint... they're real professionals... everyone from the person who gave the estimate to each crew member... they were courteous, prompt and professional. They took their time to get the job done correctly. Very impressed!!! **Ernie, the one who came out to give me the estimate, is not a salesperson... He is genuine. He gave me a very fair price without trying oversell... Really nice guy.

Update - I believe a true measure of a company's commitment to quality and service is how they treat you after they've been paid. I had a couple of issues about a month after the job was done. I really appreciated the fact that they promptly sent someone to fix the problem both time.

I first contacted Best Bay Plumbing when the tenant leaving my rental property had jammed up the kitchen sink garbage disposal with coffee grounds. I had a new tenant moving in soon and needed the system fixed urgently.
Abel, the owner showed up the next day, discussed options and provided clear pricing. He did a great job replacing the unit and also went the extra step of educating the new tenant on properly operating the garbage disposal.
Since then I've used his team several times - to install water softener/filtration systems, bidets in toilets and fix issues in showers. Each time the quality of work has been excellent and the pricing fair.
Would highly recommend.

Our kitchen sink had a major leak. I found a reference for Pure Plumbing Solutions on Nextoor in my neighborhood. I left a message with Mike, and he responded within 30 minutes or so. An hour later Nate was at the house diagnosing the problem. He explained everything to me, and he repaired our plumbing problem the same day. Overall, Nate was super professional and friendly. I will definitely give them a call next time our home needs service.

Sam and his company are a cut above the rest.  I contacted Sam as well a couple other plumbers for an upper and lower lateral replacement.  Sam came out to do a quote and was very detailed and courteous.  He also noticed the kitchen line was in desperate need for replacement.  Sam and his crew took care of both issues in a timely manner and kept me informed of any issues that he came across.  He made the process seamless, so that I didn't have any worries on my mind.  Definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sam and his company for any job on the Peninsula.
