Our water heater broke down and needed to be replaced. Jaime was the first to address the situation. The installation was done by Francisco and Kevin. They were professional and cleaned up after the installation. We were truly impressed. Shout out to the very diligent, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Yasmin, who took our call and answered all my questions very courteously. Highly recommend this business.

I bought a house with a septic tank of unknown location that services a small backyard cottage. My mom came to help with my newborn and stayed there, and the plumbing backed up almost immediately. I called and told able it was on septic and plumbing backed up. First they sent a guy to snake the toilet - he refused to and said tank needed to be located and pumped. He wasnt aware it was on septic until he showed up. Wasted four hours waiting for him, Able charged me for service call.
A second appointment waiting another day for camera guy to show up and locate tank. Charged again for that. I had to wait for camera inspection to finish before able would schedule further work like digging and pumping.
Third appointment waiting another 4 hours for digging crew to dig where camera beacon had stopped. One guy dug, another fixed a pipe and then stood around. I was charged for all their time. They dug up one tank which was full and called it a day, although later able people (including owner) speculated there could be another tank that they now want me to have them dig for. (When I later complained about charge for lazy guy, I was told I'd be refunded for the lazy guys time - when no refund came through in called again and was told it would have to be a credit against future services, gee thanks since this was after pumping and I was done) The one digger piled all the dirt against an old wood fence whose only support was the tree it leaned on - please think, people.
Fourth appointment waiting way more than 4 hours for the pump truck to pump the now dug-up tank. Was told it would be $375. Then I was later told $375 for first half hour and more per hour after that. They never told me they were running incredibly late and would arrive in late evening - until i finally called them at 5 pm. I told them to reschedule, they were grateful. Another 4 hour window of waiting a second time. Luckily it took 1/2 hour when they finally pumped it, so the additional charges were not an issue.
There were no shows/ rescheduling /unannounced running late among these appointments so I actually spent at least six days sitting home waiting for this company that is not presently set up to perform a locate, dig, pump job without sending umpteen different crews that are not well coordinated. All this with an infant at home and mom flooded out of where she was supposed to stay.
Fifth appointment for estimator to discuss hooking up to sewer. He ( incorrectly) told me my town would charge sewer hookup fee in the thousands, possibly 15000 and he knew of one at 40000 for a regular sized house. Between his jerk personality and frustration with this company and now this (incorrect which I didn't know at the time) fee, I started to cry. He made much fanfare of not charging me to come do an estimate. His ballpark for doing the work was very high. Instead I got the permit myself and used people recommended by a contractor friend to hook me up to sewer and the town gave me a permit with no connection fee, which he should have known is the case with a second living unit.
Abating the old abandoned septic tank proved tricky for site specific reasons. It also needed to be pumped out again because a leaking toilet had filled it with water despite our not using the plumbing. I decided to call able one last time, where I was transferred to owner Glenn. I asked about pumping (375+ again) and abatement which he priced what I thought was high at about 800 to punch holes in the bottom and fill with concrete. He asked why I didn't hire them to hook up to sewer and I truthfully told him their estimate was three times others. He said then my file said i was a complainer and to have my plumber do the abatement and hung up on me!
I called back to tell him I had paid his company thousands of dollars and was livid to be treated like this. He explained the abatement fee in greater detail as requiring an OSHA permit and seemed genuinely interested in hearing about my experience with able as detailed above. He offered me a discount on pumping and abatement (more than the credit I was already promised above for the lazy guy who it turns out got fired). Glenn said he'd come by personally on Saturday morning to look at the situation and make sure abatement is done right. It is now 2:50 pm, I have been waiting all day at home and Glenn was a no show. I have no contact number for him.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me several times, shame on me.

$15 Sewer and Drain fixed a problem that Roto Rooter misdiagnosed. All of our drains were backing up so we had initially called Roto Rooter to fix the problem. Roto Rooter came out 3 more times to keep snaking and on the third time finally brought a camera and discovered a roots problem. (It would have been nice if they had done the camera the first time so we knew what was going on up front before spending $500). They told us they would need to use a cutter and (falsely) identified where our main waste pipe was. Frustrated with Roto Rooter, we called $15 Sewer and Drain and were relieved with the high quality of service we finally got.
$15 Sewer and Drain used a camera after cutting out the roots and found out what the real problem was, a broken pipe. They also used high-tech sonar-esque equipment that Roto-Rooter didn't have to locate the exact location of our waste pipes (about 5 feet over from where Roto-Rooter estimated). Antonio did a great job replacing our waste pipes and adding a city clean-out in just two days. Even though Antonio had to tear up the front yard to do the job, he put everything back (including the sod) just the way he found it, and you would never have guessed the huge job we had done there!
I definitely would use $15 Sewer and Drain again!

just want to express my appreciation for the very workmanlike approach of NERY , He is very polite, efficient and friendly throughout, even with the added challenges of face masks and social distancing. We are very pleased with the professional job he performed as representatives of Plumbing connection ..

I had a drain leak under the kitchen sink that another plumber wanted $650 to repair for an estimated 3 hr job. Thats over $200/hr so i hired John through yelp based on yelp reviews. John was very professional did exactly what the licensed plumber recommended but he came in at a much more reasonable rate. Definitely give John a call if you have plumbing issues. He does excellent work and I would definitely use him again for future plumbing needs. Thanks John for your service.

Our house had hot water problem. I called couple plumbers to diagnose. Both of them didn't find the root cause. After living without hot water for 5 days, I am so glad that I found Plumbtree.
When their technician is on the way, you will receive a text message with technician's name, photo and self introduction. This is really nice feature.
Thumbs up to Anthony who solved our hot water issue. He is extremely knowledgeable and take pride in his job. We finally can relax now.
I will definitely call Plumbtree for any future needs.
P.S they also wear mask and shoecover

Let me start with the bottom line, which most of you are interested in anyway. The long details follow.
Jeremy of Bullseye Leak Detection did a great job for me. he was prompt, honest, professional, competent and instilled confidence. That's exactly what I look for when I need to hire someone to correct a problem. Bottom line:
1 - Did he do a good job = YES
2 - Would I hire him again? = YES
3 - Would I recommend him to friends? = YES
the details:
I had a water leak somewhere between the meter and my house. I live on a hillside which complicates finding a water pipe leak much more difficult.
Not knowing where to start, I started digging around where i thought the leak was originating based on wetness and water patterns until I thought I found the leak location. I had several plumbers give an estimate based on where I suspected the leak was. One plumber gave a quick estimate, another immediately suggested I replace the whole line and one gave an estimate but strongly suggested I hire a leak detection service to verify the location. He recommended Jeremy at Bullseye Leak Detection. As it turned out, it was a good suggestion. Jeremy found the leak in a completely different location and it probably saved me a lot of time, frustration and money.
.... more details (long and boring) ....
I called Jeremy late Wed evening and he called me back promptly. We discussed service and price and he arrived on time the next morning. we spent a few hours searching and digging for the leak and found some possible locations but he had a prior appointment he had to go to. He promised he'd come back as soon as he could and gave me an estimated time. When he returned, he resumed the search and found an entirely different location that was he was sure was the problem. Some digging confirmed the leak location.
I think Jeremy went far beyond his initial and primary responsibilities. it was a hot day and the hillside was pretty messy with mud. Jeremy helped me dig till we finally located the leak. Jeremy also helped me fill in the many trenches we dug earlier. I would have paid more than double or triple his fee if I would have repaired my initial leak location.
After the plumber returned and examined the location, he was confident Jeremy had located the leak. The plumber repaired the pipe and turned the water back on. It's now been a week and there are no more signs of any water leaking anywhere on the hillside.
For what it's worth, I've read many reviews before selecting a contractor. I especially focus on the 1 star reviews. Many times, it seems that the 1 star reviews are the result of miscommunication and missed expectations of unrealisitic costs and time frames.

Shibli and Robert fixed a number of issues:
a) leaking faucet to my washer in the garage
b) replaced water shut-off valve and hose outlet outside the house
c) put a pressure reducing valve
The whole process from scheduling to completion was smooth,
efficient and professional.
I am very happy with their work and quality and would count on them.

I had a urgent problem where the gas line running to my house from the PG&E meter was leaking. I needed it fixed ASAP so I called Tony. Turns out he couldn't get to me that day but gave me some valuable information that allowed me to resolve the issue much cheaper than I was originally quoted. He actually took my call while on his way to another job. He didn't make a cent off of my situation but was able to same me money.

Our out side water hose pipe was leaking. We gave HR Silicon Valley Plumbing a call and was given an appointment that was available the next day. The technician came assessed the problem and was able to complete the pipe replacement in no time with reasonable pricing.

Well, it turns out to be a big miscommunication with my previous comments. I spoke with Victor, the owner, directly and resolve the issue. Bottom line, as my previous post stated, they did come quickly. The work was done well. Both Victor and I agreed that a quote should have been given before work started; but, at the end of the day, the work was done well and quickly. They were also nice enough to refund some of the money to meet their competitors. Overall, it is a good experience and it is good that I was able to talk with Victor directly to explain my side of the story. I know how busy they are and my job is not exactly a big job; so, that goes to show that they do care about their customers. They are also willing to go the extra mile to make things right. Good job all around!

Our kitchen drain system was not set up properly in the past, so we had a repeat clogging within 18mo of cleaning it.
Mario was honest in his assessment and offered to re-do the entire kitchen drainage system. His pricing was fair (including warranty), and he got the job done as he said he would within the agreed upon time frame w/out any hiccups. From the start, Mario kept his word, was punctual, and very professional. Thank you for making our kitchen sink (and laundry) functional again!
Will go to him for any future plumbing jobs at home.

I had a clogged sink for two days. I tried to fix it with the liquid plumber and drano, but with no success. I yelped and found Plumbing Connection and saw some good reviews. I had called one other company prior to PC, but they did not pick up. PC picked up right away and was at my place within the hour as they promised. Khan came out and was extremely friendly, even though I could tell he was pretty tired. I had called around 7pm on a weekday.
He placed clean booties on his feet before entering the house, looked at my messed up kitchen sink, gave me a quote (high), my Yelp discount (normal price), and started right away. He even cleaned up afterwards! Since the sink had a lot of water in it, it took quite sometime to drain. Even though the Yelp discount was the average price I found on the internet, I didn't care that he called it a Yelp discount because he did quality work and made sure not to leave the kitchen in a mess.

Came out right on time to fix a clogged sink. Super friendly and very honest about the work, it wasn't an easy clog but he got it done and provided advice about what to do if it happens again. Will definitely be my go to plumber from now on.

Where do I begin? ... The team at TrenchFree is absolutely fantastic! After a traditional plumber fixed three leaks in my gas line and it was still losing pressure, I was faced with repairing or replacing more than 150 feet of my underground gas line. After much research, it was clear that trench-less was the way to go for a full replacement. It was evident in my first meeting with Juan that he knew what he was doing and ensured that I was provided with enough information to make a comfortable, informed decision. The job took three days from start to inspection sign-off, the landscaping where access holes were made looks untouched, and I even caught several neighbors trying to find evidence of my version of the big dig. I just can't say enough about this company. I highly recommend TrenchFree for all of your underground pipe replacement. I am so happy to have heat again!

Abel and his crew did a great job of installing a water softener, fixing leaks in the toilet and drain replacement in the crawl space. They were professional, thorough and very responsive.
I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing related work.

We had just put our home on the market, and the next day the Takagi natural gas tankless water heater we've had since 2002 stopped working. We have the wired remote that normally gives diagnostic info, but it suddenly wasn't powered any longer and the display was blank.
I tried several things after opening up the heater's case, but only one time did I get everything powered up and then everything shot down within 5 seconds, so I was afraid it was a problem with the computer board, or a sensor or the power controller inside the TK2.
I called Bayshore Plumbers on Tue afternoon and they said they'd have someone come out between 9:30 and 11:30 on Thu. At 11:30 on Thu, I called and asked if they had a new ETA for my appointment, and they told me that for some reason, I didn't show up in their system.
Obviously that's a problem, but the good news was that they told me they were going to send their tech, Alex Gonzalez, out within the next two hours. The better news was that I got texts from that point on alerting me of the appointment and when he was en route to my house. In the future, I'll know to expect these texts as soon as I make an appointment!
Alex arrived as scheduled and quickly went through a series of checks. Within a couple minutes he determined that the system was actually fine but that there might be an issue with the outdoor GFCI outlet the system was plugged into.
When he left, everything was working perfectly with it plugged into the other outlet. He also determined that the TK2 didn't need any additional work or testing so this whole situation is behind me now.
While my overall first experience with Bayshore Plumbers might have been 2 or 3 stars due to the scheduling snafu, I will give them 5 stars for handling the situation quickly and for sending out such a competent and experienced tech. Alex definitely earned this 5 star rating!
