So I started my search for plumbers by getting estimates from plumbers in my area with high yelp ratings.  I chose Midas because of the direct phone estimate and the ease of scheduling.  Also, he took my call at 6pm rather than forwarding me to answering services.  

John arrived at my house and he was very profession.  He examined my faulty shower valves, gave me a verbal estimate, and even worked with me on the price.  

The job was done efficiently and with minimal intrusion.  Furthermore, when he was done, the work sight was clean and there was no sign that he was there.  I definitely found a good plumber and I can't say enough good things about him.

Horrible customer service.  I had Eduardo come and check my toilet.  He was supposed to be at my house by 3 pm.  He did not show up until 6pm.  I let that one go.  He told me I needed new toilets.  I purchased 2 new toilets.  I called and set up an appointment that was convenient for them.  I let them pick the date and time.  Eduardo was supposed to be at my house between 2 and 3 p.m..  At 3:30 I called and said no one showed up.  The woman told me she would call Eduardo and call me right back.  At 4 p.m. I called her back and only got voice mail for the next 1/2 hour.  Finally I was able to talk to hear at 4:30 and told her to cancel my appointment.  Horrible,Horrible customer service.  Will not do business with them if this is the way they treat new customers.

when we had issues with our septic tank they were prompt in getting out to help even in the pouring rain. My 84-year-old grandmother couldn't remember where the septic tank was and they were able to find it in no time flat. I would definitely hire them again

Roto-Rooter said they can't give a quote on the phone and need to get someone to the house a couple of hours later to give an assessment.  Call $15, described the type of clog, got a $81.50 quote over the phone for 1st hour (was told it's unlikely to take longer), and Nick showed up a hour later.  Very friendly and courteous, completed the job in about 30 minutes and gave me some advice on the way out.  Good experience.

The drain line of my water softener is connected to the P-trap at my garage. The main drain line was clogged and the waste water was back washed to the P-trap.
The Plumbing Connection team responded my quote quickly. I scheduled a service appointment with them and they arrived on time. The job was done within 15 minutes with reasonable price.
I am satisfied with the job and will recommend them to everyone.

Needed help installing the plumbing for my new vanity top. John arrived early and did a great job. He was efficient and clean. And the price was beyond reasonable. John is our go to guy for all our plumbing needs.

We live on the side of a hill in the Los Gatos area, and so we have a fairly complex water system involving a holding tank, a pump, and a couple of pressurized tanks to deliver water from the street below up to our house at sufficient water pressure.  Recently we noticed what appeared to be a leak from our water supply line in the street and that led to us discovering that the holding tank in our crawlspace was overflowing.

Given that we're in a severe drought, we wanted to bring somebody out as fast as possible to diagnose and repair the problem.  Glenn from Plumbtree came out the day after we called and spent some time in the crawlspace checking out our system.  Not only did he patiently answer all of our questions, he promptly diagnosed the issue, made a series of additional suggestions to help prolong the life of our system, and spotted another possible problem that needed some follow-up -- all at no charge.  

Because he's going to be out of the office for a couple of days this week and we want to get the problem repaired as soon as possible, he ultimately referred us to another specialist company able to make the repair.  

After an extraordinarily unpleasant (and months long!) experience with a general contractor earlier this year, I can't tell you how much we appreciate Glenn's patience, his honesty, and his attention to detail.  We will gladly work with him again and highly recommend you consider giving Plumbtree Pllumbing and Rooter a call for your plumbing needs too!

Update to the review. Jeremy did reach out to me about the situation and that he did have phone issues at the time I hired him and he did resolve the issue.  He also was courteous to refund the fees for the leak inspection.  Thanks Jeremy!

Quality Plus Plumbing was referred to us by a neighbor and now we are a repeat customer.  They are an honest business. Before initially hiring them I researched some of the highest ranking plumbers on yelp and then cross referenced their credentials on the state license website.  I was dismayed by the number of plumbers listed on yelp with never having a license or operating with an expired license.  My neighbor referred me to Quality Plus Plumbing, I found they had 5 star reviews on Yelp AND are state licensed.  I was sold. They have come to my house twice, once to unclog our kitchen drain and again yesterday to replace our water heater. We are happy customers, their 5 star rating is deserved.

Tony gave us great recommendations to conserve water in our home. He has the tools and knowledge to do more than other plumbers I've hired in the past and has saved our family hundreds of dollars. We will continue to use Tony as our local plumbing company!

I had them snake my secondary drain and when he left, I was told I have a 30 day warranty on the work. The very next day, the same drain backed up again and Henry (owner) called me and said there is no warranty but would do this as a favor. They also told me I should replace my secondary line as the slope was great enough for the water to drain. I asked for a quote and a timeline but never heard back. Maybe it's a good thing. DO NOT USE

Excellent experience.   Had pinhole water leak in copper elbow inside wall.  Called at 8am and was given a commitment that someone would arrive same day between 1 and 3 in the afternoon.
First pleasant surprise:  John from Marti's rang my door bell at the beginning of the time window, a few minutes past 1, not the end, as is often the case with these kinds of commitments; so we started on a positive!
Second positive:  While he agreed the leak was likely in the wall, he took the time to go under the house in the crawl space to be sure it was not there before ripping into the sheetrock unnecessarily.  Unfortunately, it was in the wall, but again I was impressed he was looking for ways to minimize unnecessary damage to the wall if he could.
Third positive:  Replaced elbow, fixed leak in a timely manner, and explained what he was doing as he did the work.  Thoroughly cleaned up after as well.
I would call Marti's again.  They arrived when they said and promptly identified and fixed the problem.

Everytime I've set up an appointment with Fast Water Heater company, it's exactly 15 days until a person comes in. It's absurd and an unrealistic time frame for someone to come in. And when the guy did come in, he didn't even have the part ready. For an hour, he was ordering the correct part and I was left with signing papers proving that he was there. No work was done and I had to wait another 15 days.

Decided to call up Noah's Plumbing the same day and he was able to arrive in 20 minutes and he even had extra parts ready.
He competently worked on fixing the heater and provided details on what was causing it. Before leaving, he made sure that I can call/text him if another problem arises. I'm finally stress-free and can have hot water running again!

We called Mario more than once already for various emergencies and he has been super responsive and arrived quickly. Mario and his crew have been great every time working with efficiency and cleanliness and providing excellent customer service.

Contacted Mr. Bakhtiar Khan at about 9:30 pm. He advised me to have him come in the following morning at 10am. That would be materially lighter on my wallet. He came at exactly 10 am with his partner and got to work on the backed up toilet. He did the work outside and spent a fair amount of time explaining the key mechanical issues associated with the job. Few years ago I had spent a significant amount of money ( well over $5K) to bring in a plumber who opened the trenches but for some unknown reason ... the city and the plumbing contractor did not get the problem fixed. The Plumbing Connection advised me against spending this money and that it would be wiser to buy some time by doing annual cleaning. I think what was impressive was their honesty and the compassion and caring they showed in how they dealt with a situation. I would highly recommend Fremont Plumbing Connection.

Finally, what was also an amazing display of integrity was that before they left, Mr. Khan said he would fix the problem if it were to recur in a month or two and more importantly ... showed me how to mitigate the problem temporarily.

Our kitchen sink was completely clogged.  Chris responded immediately with a quote and his availability.  He showed up exactly on time, and began diagnosing the issue.  Chris was very clear about what he was going to do to fix the issue.  

He finished the job quickly, cleaned up after himself and explained to me my options if this issue came up again.  I would highly recommend Chris's services.  Don't waste time with other plumbers.

I hired them based on the reviews here and they did not disappoint... they're real professionals... everyone from the person who gave the estimate to each crew member... they were courteous, prompt and professional. They took their time to get the job done correctly. Very impressed!!! **Ernie, the one who came out to give me the estimate, is not a salesperson... He is genuine. He gave me a very fair price without trying oversell... Really nice guy.

Update - I believe a true measure of a company's commitment to quality and service is how they treat you after they've been paid. I had a couple of issues about a month after the job was done. I really appreciated the fact that they promptly sent someone to fix the problem both time.

Abel and his crew were able to help us when we found huge pipe leak under our house. They quickly cleaned out the debris/sewage and showed us the problem (our old pipes) he was able to give us a quote on the spot and was able to come the next day to fix everything. They're fantastic to work with and I will definitely keep them in mind for our future plumbing projects

Professional and prompt. Gave us options on how to fix our plumbing problems. Would use them again.

Long story short. Today is V-day and raining. Unlucky my car has broken the pipe near the garage. Most plumbing companies do not serve San Mateo area. I was called Michael around 11am and send the message for him to show how damage looks. He arranges plumber Andy Tellez to repair it immediately.  Andy done all the work at 1:30pm and cost $290. Super effective and friendly. Great job!  Thanks for all your help!
