We just moved into a house when we had a problem with the downstairs bathroom. It seemed to be a drain issue. Unfortunately, we relied on the Internet, which led us to Elite Rooter. They sent someone right away, but this technician was apparently trained to scare customers into paying for unnecessary work. The technician did not address the drain out in the back, only one in the front. Then he said that his snake was blocked and that some kind of flap was broken or missing. We were told that there was probably a collapsed pipe. He even called his manager, who gave us an estimate of over $1200 to send a camera in. We are only renting, so we contacted the landlord. Thankfully, we were referred to John. John came in less than an hour and addressed two of our issues for less than half the price we were quoted (for just having a camera sent in). John was professional, quick, and personable. He also gave us lots of advice to prevent future issues. Thanks so much, John! We will refer you to all of our friends.

I discovered a leaking pipe in May 2020 & searched Yelp, panicked. This company had great reviews and I'm happy to add to that now.

I sent out multiple inquiries through Yelp late in the evening (nearly 11pm) and Jaime, the owner, quickly replied. He coordinated for a technician to come out the next day.

Gerardo (our technician) arrived with his apprentice Humberto. They were efficient and installed some copper pipes that ran along the ceiling of the garage, and we appreciated that they were careful in cutting the sheetrock to allow for it to be patched up in the future. Gerardo was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I would gladly hire them or recommend them to others in the future!

5 Stars for Able plumbing and Valley Concrete!! We recently had a major issue with our 2 sewer pipe in the middle of our house.  What made the issue particularly difficult is that we live in an Eichler home that has radiant floor heating as well as hot and cold lines through the slab floor.  The thought of breaking concrete and finding the broken pipe among the radiant floor pipes was a very stressful situation to say the least.  Luckily, one of my neighbors recommended contacting Able Septic in San Jose and I was fortunate enough to speak to the owner Glen.  After a few minutes of discussion, he described the approach and assured me that it could be fixed.  Adrian, the camera technician was the first one to arrive and very quickly identified the break and concrete was removed.  Sergio and Alejandro were very friendly and knowledgeable.  They put plastic on the floors and tape on the walls to protect the surfaces..  Sergio explained what they planned to do and assured me that they would work very carefully so as not to damage any of the radiant floor heating.  They found solid pipe to ensure a permanent, long-lasting solution.  They very quickly removed the dirt and recommended replacing approximately 5' with new PVC.   Prior to final fix, the camera was used to inspect all the pipes upstream an downstream to ensure there were no other issues. After the repair, they then packed the space with gravel, cleaned the floors, and even rinsed off the front walkway.  The icing on the cake is that they have a sister company, Valley Concrete that came the next morning to put the slab and tile back.  Christian was very courteous and did an outstanding job as well!  If you ever need to have plumbing or concrete work, I highly recommend calling Able Plumbing and Valley Concrete!  5 + Stars and AAA rating!

Literally the best sewer and drain service. They are fast and very courteous. Arrive as promise and finish quickly. I've  requested their service everytime we have a drain blockage.

Israr is a very nice person, by yelp message I told him my kitchen was clogged and he gave me a very reasonable price estimate, and I scheduled appointment on the next day. It turns out the situation was worse than he thought but he fixed it in a short time and still keep the same price. Very satisfied with the service!

We've used John several times now and have been happy with his ability to improvise fixing and installing shelving, curtains and repairing shower doors, not to mention installing new faucets in previous visits.  We appreciate his honesty and forthcoming when a job is NOT within his scope of expertise.  We'll continue to use him in the future for other projects that arise.

Had a minor emergency when my water main broke after someone hit the meter box with a car. Plumbtree showed up, got me an estimate, did the work, and all with great communication for a fair price considering the emergency. Will use them again.

Jeremy and his team were able to locate our pool leak, (the light conduit) and fix it!

We had a leak in our bath tub and we have been calling many Plumbers and some even promise to come by but never show up. Fortunate for us, we found Tony's Plumbing via Yelp. We call Tony Plumbing and they showed up in time same day as promised. They are very nice and honest by explained to us what needs to be repaired and how much would it cost. Their price is very reasonable. They fixed our leak and even though they have to make two trips to HD to get the right parts, they still kept their spirit up. Very good attitude and very friendly guys. They also fixed our kitchen sink leak for free. We are very blessed to found them on Yelp. Dean arrived from Marti's plumbing and was great.  Being a Sunday and for same day service we expected a higher charge, but the cost was very reasonable.  Marti fixed our nasty toilet clog, which we had tried plunging ourselves for hours, he fixed with his device in about 20 minutes or less. Love Dean and Marti's Plumbing.

Our water heater broke and the guys from the manufacturer I called made us do some troubleshooting steps on the phone and we even called PG&E to isolate the problem. Then I got to contact Bernard from Noah's Plumbing and at just one look, he already knew what causes the problem! Which was of course not the ones that the tech support on the phone figured out.  He even gave me 90 days warranty for the repair in case something goes wrong again and I bet it wont happen again. He gave full information and details on what is happening and how is he addressing the concern, and what causes it to happen why it wont work, in a way we can understand. It was really quick for him to make the appliance up and working , and give us hot water again!  Really the best and the nicest guy to do the job!

I was out of town when my laundry machine developed a leak at the hot water valve. They diagnosed the problem on a Sunday and finished repairs on a Monday. Very professional and reliable. Great communication skills. I will use them again. -Frank

I've been stuck with a stopped up kitchen sink for about a week. Yesterday evening I finally made a call to Plumbing Connection. I should have called sooner. Even though the business is based out of Fremont, they made an appointment to come to my apartment in Oakland and fix my drains at 10AM this morning. Khan (plumber) arrived on schedule, in a marked van, and well-dressed. He got straight to work while I went back to work in my home office. I felt just fine leaving him to do his own thing. Within about 15 minutes I could hear the water running through the sink pipes!

When I asked him if I could be any more gentle on the pipes (because they get clogged every couple of years), Khan assured me that old pipes just get stopped up sometimes. Since my apartment is in a 1912 craftsman home, he explained to me how all the old plumbing works....twists and turns, narrow copper pipes, etc. He also gave me some pointers on how to avoid future problems.

When my landlord came up to see the work Khan had done, Khan let him know that these kind of plumbing problems typically occur much more frequently and that my spouse and I appeared to take good care of the sink - which we do! He assured my landlord that we weren't causing the clogs. If you are a renter, you can only imagine how that would help your landlord-tenant relationship.

This is a very professional service. Khan treated me with respect and courtesy. I appreciate a professional who treats a female customer no differently than a male customer. He was in and out in about 30 minutes, he chatted with my landlord AND my sink works perfectly.

We found Chris on Yelp. After a botched up job by a handyman, we needed a licensed plumber to fix our faucet leaks. Chris responded immediately and was very understanding of our situation. He came over and did a wonderful job fixing the faucets. He also checked all the other plumbing connections that were faulty. We are thrilled with the experience and by the high quality of his work. His rates are pretty reasonable. I would strongly recommend Chris.

Carlos came out to our house and was amazing.    First of all I was not having a problem with my sewer line/pipe from house to street.   However I had a large tree growing near my sewer line , and I assumed that the line was 4 inch clay.  That  was what I told by many of the people in the know in the Holiday Lake neighborhood I live in.  That is why I called to get my sewer line checked out and also the city of Morgan Hill was offering grant money to fix the  lateral sewer lines. They were offering to pay a large part of the inspection and repair or replace, whatever was needed.  

Carlos came and gave me prices about cctv.   Also  explained to me how they repair broken or leaking sewer lines by essentially putting a pipe inside the broken pipe.    He did put a camera into my line and he checked out about 2/3 of it  with the  camera.  I watched the video screen while he pushed the cable with the camera on one end.   Only took about 15 minutes.  The camera  didn't make it to the street because there was a sharp right angle downward in the pipe.   He did not find anything serious but told me the pipe I had was cast iron 4 inch diameter.   I was surprised and thankful I had a cast iron pipe and  not the clay pipe that many of my neighbors had.   The only thing I could assume that one of the previous owners prior to 1978 had already changed the clay pipe.   Anyway I was so elated that I said I would write a positive review on yelp.   I highly recommend this company.   They are honest and  very helpful.

Our garbage disposal began leaking and within a days notice Abel was able to come out and assess the situation. Within less than 24 hrs we had it replaced and a functioning sink again. He understood the importance of the turnaround and helped get us back up and running. Great communication and quick, through work. Much appreciated and would recommend to others looking for honest help.

Highly recommend them! My handyman was having trouble with installing a newer tub faucet/shower trim on a ~20 year old jacuzzi and shower valve, as it kept leaking. Mike squeezed us into his busy schedule on short notice (same day). He provided a solution that fixed the problem and saved us hundreds on unnecessary repairs. Thank you Mike and team!
