I've been using Midas Plumber for over 10 years. John (the owner) is an amazing plumber that gets the job done honestly and with amazing quality.

Have two bad shower valves and a broken front hose bib.  Eduardo came out and was fabulous.  We had old Kohler shower valves and he also noticed our sink faucets were corroded from the hard water.  He told me to take pictures of each and call Kohler.  They would send me replacements for free.  So, no charge for fixing two showers and two sinks!
He then built an entirely new hose bib with a ball valve shutoff.  All of this took about an hour.  Great folks at Fantastic Rooter.  This is the fourth or fifth time I've used their service and I'm never disappointed.

Do not use these guys for anything.  My apartment complex has some huge contract with Able to do all plumbing work outside of most in-unit stuff.  On this most recent visit three guys have been looking at the same hole in the ground and the same two inches of broken pipe for two hours.  I guarantee they'll knock off in ten minutes and go to lunch for an hour and a half.  See, with Able they'll always make any work take at least four hours.  They don't give a rat's ass about getting the job done correctly or promptly.  Now on this visit they actually have some tarps down to protect the landscaping but that's only because of the havoc they caused the last time they were here.

Last time they serviced the complex they changed the shut off valves inside each unit - as well as did a bunch of unnecessary work.  How do I know this?  Well when they bailed for lunch I came home from work and saw their entire worklist on the floor in front of my front door.  As for my unit?  Rusty and debris filled pipes all over my carpet and rugs.  Tools on the floor throughout the apartment.  When the worker came back over an hour later, it took him another hour to finish up two valves.  Replace the pipes?  No way!  Not when you can stab the debris out all over my carpet with a screwdriver.  Bleed the lines to knock all the debris out before reconnecting to my faucets?  Of course not!  If they did that then they couldn't come back and tell me know my plumbing sucks because my faucets are running slow - which I later fixed myself by disassembling my faucets and cleaning all the fresh debris and sediment out.  And I'm still trying to clean threadlock off my toilet - thanks for that, dude!  Let's also not forget how they left many people's apartments unlocked with the doors open while they were completely MIA - probably off screwing around or taking another two hour lunch.

Employees of this company just stand around and shoot their mouths off.  One hand on the cell phone on a personal call, one hand on the wrench - that's Able Plumbing.  MAYBE if you have a septic issue they know what they're doing but I have yet to see a single service event where Able has appeared to be even the slightest bit competent.  I have the suspicion that half the positive reviews here are shills for the boss as that's all they talk about.

When Benny Silva cleared my bath tub drain in 2016 in under 10 minuted he said that he got lucky.  Hmmmm? The technician from another company who spent an hour working on the same drain before Benny Silva arrived didn't have the same luck.  Nor did I have luck while spending 4 hours trying to get snakes of different sizes through the bends in the drain the day before.  Fast forward to 2022 and here I am again cursing at the bath tub drain and trying to shove snakes of different sizes through every drain opening I can find on both sides of the wall.

If there were a martial art based on clearing drains, Mr Benny Silva would be a Black Belt Sensei.  He has an efficiency of movement and words and great humility.  Nothing is wasted. I explained that I had used the overflow drain as he had in 2016.   He agreed that this was a good place to start since it worked before. He got to work.  

I believe in giving people privacy when working but I had to peek to see how he had set up his equipment. Fewer than five minutes had passed since he plugged in his machine and he was already turning on the water.  It wasn't filling the tub. What the....?! He pulled out a big clump of hair from much further down the pipe than I had been able to reach.  

I don't think Benny Silva is lucky.  I think he is highly skilled and knowledgeable. He is also humble and respectful.  $15 Sewer and Drain describes him as having 27 years with them.  For a company with a cheap sounding name, this guy is a Treasure.

Mr.Khan is very responsive--I appreciate that. My job was small. Mr.Khan and his associate came out, assessed the problem, and quickly resolved it. I won't hesitate to reach out to him for future plumbing needs.

John was friendly and courteous on the phone. He arrived clean, prepared, on time (!) and completed the job in the time-frame we anticipated. He mentioned he has experience in woodworking and does other handyman jobs as well. I would definitely call John again for both small and large jobs.

Wish I could give them 10 stars!  I wish all businesses had the same amazing customer service, care, professionalism and quality of work that Plumbtree has.  Anthony is awesome!  He came over and gave a full assessment of the plumbing issues at my parents' house.  He was very patient and explained what potentially needed to be done now and what might need to be done at a later date.  There was no hard sell to do more than what our budget would allow.  The final cost was exactly what was on the estimate sheet - no hidden fees or added items.  Anthony & Josh came to do the actual work and they did a great job - again, very polite & professional, and everything was done really well.  And they cleaned up afterward.  I will definitely be using Plumbtree again and recommending them to friends & family.

Wow!  I have nothing but great things to say about these guys.  Very down to earth and very reasonable prices!  DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM.

Shibli is great.  I've called him 4 times in the past few year.  I  finally got around to giving him a review.   He's professional, courteous and clearly knows his stuff.  You can tell a lot by the way someone maintains his equipment, van and attire.  He's fast and explains things in layman terms, which is also a good sign.

Was glad I called Tony! It was a pleasant experience with Tony and Ricky. They were right on time. Got all of my clogs unclogged in one visit, and they threw in a free part. They didn't have a magnet business card so I'll stick their paper card on my fridge in case I need more plumbing later.

After dealing with a lot of nonsense from a couple other plumbers who surprisingly had good reviews on yelp, I contacted these guys.  Their response timing is excellent.  Henry showed up and what was more impressive than his knowledge an attitude was his cleanliness and organizational skills.  I am not a plumber nor do I know much about plumbing, but I'm a pretty good judge of character and as soon as this guy stepped out of his van I could tell he knows what he's doing.  He fixed a couple leaks and on a Sunday messaged me to drop off an extra part for me.  Highly recommended.

Friendly, prompt, courteous and competent with good attention to detail.  That checks all the boxes I look for in a plumber.  Actually, you can be a surly ass so long as you tick the remaining boxes. If you think you want to read more details, here you go.  My circa 1997 water heater (WH) died.  Few people like cold showers and WH install is out of my league.  Phoned to request an estimate and organized for next day with possible install if agree to terms.  I like that Marti's won't give estimates over the phone.  Next day I shut off water to the home at the gate valve in anticipation that water lines to WH may need replaced as well.  I decided to double down on my day off activities and completed some basic plumbing activities in the home before the pro showed up. Matthew arrived within the specified 2 hour time window, props for timeliness.  Quote was comparable to other estimates.  Agreed to terms, Matthew returned to shop to collect the new WH.  During the interim I attempted, and failed, to open the gate valve to check my work. I phoned Matthew to give him a heads up.  He returned with the new WH and that was installed no problems.  He assessed the gate valve, quoted a price, we agreed to terms and he began work.  The plumbing wheels fell off the bus when the gate valve failed miserably and began to leak instead of drip.  I'm pretty sure it was original to the home built in 1985 so now Matthew gets to deal with that surprise.  A parts run, repeated attempts to connect wet PVC pipes (hey SJWC - your water main shut off valve is leaky) and multiple hours later he was able to install the new gate valve and get us hot water into the house for showers that night.  There was a tiny, slow leak at one of the gate valve junctions and we made arrangements to meet the next day to remedy the issue.  Once again, good communication and arrived within the agreed upon time window.  Learning curve was day before so he made the gate valve adjustments and was out the door ~2.5 hrs later.

Bernard very quickly and efficiently unclogged our drains for us.  He is   polite, friendly, and shows up on time.  We were very happy with his service and would hire him again.

Wow.  We had a lot of rust in our hot water.  Our heater was over 20 years old!  Called Mario at 2 pm.  Had a new heater perfectly installed by 5 pm.   Just great and friendly service.

Called these guys after reading some yelp reviews about their service level.  As I read, I formed an opinion and expectation before they arrived.  The window of time they gave me, which was quite rapid, was soon approaching and I started to wonder if they would show on time.  At that point, they called and confirmed the address and still showed up in the one hour window they provided me.

As expected, they did what they said they would do.  They also had a great discussion on what the likely causes are and/or would be.  That being said, they charged me the special price they offered and identified the additional items to solve my problem.

I would use them again, and after determining part of my low pressure situation was due to sediment feeding our old plumbing lines and sinks and showers.  We decided we are going to move forward by taking that portion, albeit costly repair/replacement, out of the equation by replacing the old hot water heater with one they recommend (Bradford) in the near future.  I will write another review about them following my water heater replacement, but I'm sure the experience will be the same.

Their availability, their professional behavior and courtesy are very good and I feel comfortable they are not just trying to find ways of generating revenue on customer's ignorance of plumbing knowledge.  They are fair, honest and come highly recommended.

My kitchen sink is clogged and water is backed up. The tech comes in an hour after the call and do the snake 5 times to fix the issue. Since there is no clean out, he removes the pipe underneath and reinstall it after. He makes sure that there is no leak after. Very quick and reliable. Definitely recommended

Carlos came out to our house and was amazing.    First of all I was not having a problem with my sewer line/pipe from house to street.   However I had a large tree growing near my sewer line , and I assumed that the line was 4 inch clay.  That  was what I told by many of the people in the know in the Holiday Lake neighborhood I live in.  That is why I called to get my sewer line checked out and also the city of Morgan Hill was offering grant money to fix the  lateral sewer lines. They were offering to pay a large part of the inspection and repair or replace, whatever was needed.  

Carlos came and gave me prices about cctv.   Also  explained to me how they repair broken or leaking sewer lines by essentially putting a pipe inside the broken pipe.    He did put a camera into my line and he checked out about 2/3 of it  with the  camera.  I watched the video screen while he pushed the cable with the camera on one end.   Only took about 15 minutes.  The camera  didn't make it to the street because there was a sharp right angle downward in the pipe.   He did not find anything serious but told me the pipe I had was cast iron 4 inch diameter.   I was surprised and thankful I had a cast iron pipe and  not the clay pipe that many of my neighbors had.   The only thing I could assume that one of the previous owners prior to 1978 had already changed the clay pipe.   Anyway I was so elated that I said I would write a positive review on yelp.   I highly recommend this company.   They are honest and  very helpful.

We just purchased a new kitchen under mount stainless steel sink and motion sensor faucet. Abel was able to immediate size the project and provide an estimate after careful review of what it entailed. There was a lot of reconnections to consider, including a relocation of garbage disposal and water filtration tank. He was very helpful and upfront of the total cost and labor it would take, leaving no surprises for us at the end. The work performed was completed timely and our sink/faucet looks and works beautifully! We are extremely happy with his work and professionalism that we are scheduling our new water heater install with him as well:) Thanks Abel!

I first hired them to replace my sewer line. I was dreading getting this job done because I was worried it would ruin my landscaping and take forever to recover from. His crew did an out of this world job doing a super clean install and it came out perfectly.

I've since hired Bayshore for a bunch of additional work including new gas lines, a laundry sink, a new water heater and more. In every case they did a wonderful job and operate with the highest level of professionalism.
