Perhaps if John himself came out to do the work, our toilet would function properly now.  Instead he advised his employee to come out.  Despite our subsequent to complaints to John himself, we are left with a dysfunctional toilet that does not flush sporadically.  When it does, we often must keep the handle depressed for a long time before it works.  John said this a hard water issue???!!  Are you kidding me???  I will gladly delete this post and re-post a positive review if John were to reconsider his analysis and MAKE IT RIGHT (please!).

My bacon has been saved!!!.  After a disastrous plumbing repair attempt, Brian from Fantastic Rooter came through and saved the day.  He arrived on time, masked, gloved and ready to work.  He outlined what needed to happen, options for payment and after the OK, set about to make our situation drier.  Because we needed a new kitchen faucet, he gave us options and guidelines that will help us feel good about our new faucet.  We were then able to mad=ke an informed purchase. He showed up for the install quickly on a Saturday and later returned to help us with a further problem we had discovered.  Brian is fantastic !

We just had a call serviced by Evan with Able Underground Construction and I can't say enough how professional and courteous Evan was!  He knew his stuff when it came to the plumbing issues he fixed.  He was very careful
with putting down towels and wearing booties so as not to damage anything. He had a great personality as well!  A joy to chat with!  Never lose Evan!   A real gem!!

Great plumber! I am so lucky I found these guys. I called and spoke to Roman who was extremely professional and kept me updated as to when the plumber would arrive. VERY good company was my first time , worked anyway he can to Mach with my limited time to open up my kitchen clogged before i go to work in 2 hours , till he searched around found one of the workers just done with his job in another city to str8 come by my house & do the job such as appreciated very much. This is a great plumber! John responded right away. This is a plumber who knows what he's doing. He fixed the problem right away. John is polite and courteous. He does not over-charge. In fact, after I wrote a check, I asked him about another issue (an afterthought) which he also fixed immediately. I offered to pay him more money and he refused. In a rental house, the shower nob became binary.  Scalding hot water, if you're lucky.  Trying to dial that down to a reasonable temperature resulted in ice-cold water.  I do some basic plumbing, but this was beyond me and I wanted a professional.

Anthony showed up in his Purple truck.  He said, Your cartridge went bad.  He gave me a price that was their flat rate for that job, and it was very fair.  Putting that in context, I'd had another plumber to give me a previous quote.  Let's just say it was not even close to fair.

Thorough: He not only quoted the job but inspected everything in the house.  He checked the water pressure, and advised me as to whether or not I should get a pressure regulator.  He then showed me everything that would be entailed, including modifications to the water heater for that system and then quoted me another fair price.  He also found minor issues with my water heater installation and advised me to fix them at some time.

Professional:  Anthony explained everything in layman's terms, sizing up what I understood about plumbing and made sure I understood what he'd be doing.  He was very polite and efficient in getting my quote together.

Use this company.  This company seems to have great values and policies that you just don't find in plumbing companies anymore.

Let me start with the bottom line, which most of you are interested in anyway. The long details follow.

Jeremy of Bullseye Leak Detection did a great job for me. he was prompt, honest, professional, competent and instilled confidence. That's exactly what I look for when I need to hire someone to correct a problem. Bottom line:
 1 - Did he do a good job  = YES
 2 - Would I hire him again? = YES

the details:

I had a water leak somewhere between the meter and my house. I live on a hillside which complicates finding a water pipe leak much more difficult.

Not knowing where to start,  I started digging around where i thought the leak was originating based on wetness and water patterns until I thought I found the leak location. I had several plumbers give an estimate based on where I suspected the leak was. One plumber gave a quick estimate, another immediately suggested I replace the whole line and one gave an estimate but strongly suggested I hire a leak detection service to verify the location.  He recommended Jeremy at Bullseye Leak Detection. As it  turned out, it was a good suggestion. Jeremy found the leak in a completely different location and it probably saved me a lot of time, frustration and money.

I called Jeremy late Wed evening and he called me back promptly. We discussed service and price and he arrived on time the next morning. we spent a few hours searching and digging for the leak and found some possible locations but he had a prior appointment he had to go to. He promised he'd come back as soon as he could and gave me an estimated time. When he returned, he resumed the search and  found an entirely different location that was he was sure was the problem. Some digging confirmed the leak location.

I think Jeremy went far beyond his initial and primary responsibilities. it was a hot day and the hillside was pretty messy with mud. Jeremy helped me dig till we finally located the leak. Jeremy also helped me fill in the many trenches we dug earlier. I would have paid more than double or triple his fee if I would have repaired my initial leak location.

After the plumber returned and examined the location, he was confident Jeremy had located the leak. The plumber repaired the pipe and turned the water back on. It's now been a week and there are no more signs of any water leaking anywhere on the hillside.

For what it's worth, I've read many reviews before selecting a contractor. I especially focus on the 1 star reviews. Many times, it seems that the 1 star reviews are the result of miscommunication and missed expectations of unrealisitic costs and time frames.

These guys are awesome! I accidentally dropped my hearing aid down the sink. They were able to come within 10 minutes of my call and got it out for me (and it still works!!). Thanks a million to them!!!!!

I had a disaster on my hands this morning when I was doing the laundry and all my toilets backed up and overflowed. It was absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I called Marti's Plumbing because of the reviews here on Yelp. Erica showed up during the appointment window and immediately got to work. The problem was a clogged main line, and it was causing the toilets to overflow because when the washing machine drained the water had nowhere to go. Erica explained the problem to me and got everything resolved in under 2 hours. I found Erica to be very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I will definitely use Marti's Plumbing again if the need ever arises

I have a business in Gilroy. Rheem recommended a local plumber to figure out the issue with my commercial water heater. Bernardo was very responsive and quick which was great. Seems like an honest person who knows what he's doing. Will definitely be doing business with these guys again.

In my new home, I've used Mario's three times now to fix some plumbing issues. Mario's has been prompt, thorough, and honest. Each time, they've taken the time to scope out the project before giving me a quote and explaining things to me every step of the way. They do a fantastic job, are responsive, and very friendly.

Just saved us!  In the past three years we've had three plumbers! Finally today we got the right answer and proof with video!  We've had so many reasons and even completely wrong information on where the sewer line was!  

Mr. Khan from Plumbing Connection, a very courteous and knowledgeable guy btw,  has a camera that shows what's in the lines and a pipe detector that shows exactly where the pipes are.  There's no B.S-ing, no guessing, the proof's right there!

We found Chris on Yelp. After a botched up job by a handyman, we needed a licensed plumber to fix our faucet leaks. Chris responded immediately and was very understanding of our situation. He came over and did a wonderful job fixing the faucets. He also checked all the other plumbing connections that were faulty. We are thrilled with the experience and by the high quality of his work. His rates are pretty reasonable. I would strongly recommend Chris.

TrenchFree came in this morning to re-pipe the main water line from the meter to the outside of the house. They used the trenchfree technique, which was fast and clean - no dig up a big trench. The staff was a good team-work. They knew what they were doing. They started at 8:30 am. and completed the work by noon. The clean-up after work was excellent.

I highly recommend TrenchFree (JD Plumbing). Juan, the owner, is prompt, courtesy, and professional. The staff is well-trained, polite, and considered on maintaining high quality work. I got much more than I had expected.

My main water pipe was broken, so I need to repipe the water line from the city's meter to my house. I started with the other old-name plumbing company with a result of big disappointment!

I searched the Internet and found TrenchFree aka JD Plumbing. Had no idea about TrenchFree, but started reading the reviews. Juan called me within about 15 minutes of my search. With his sound courtesy, eagerly to work, and sincerely, I decided to meet with him at my house. He was there in half an hour as he said he would. He explained to me in sufficient details on how he would re-pipe, the product used, the technique, timeline (in one day!), and price. Within about 15 minutes talking to him, I had pretty good idea how I could expect on this re-piping job. After we parted, Juan email me an invoice describing the procedure and material in details, including a price, of course, which was very reasonable!

At the beginning, I was hesitate a bit though because I had never heard about TrenchFree technique and how people did the re-pipe without digging a trench. I did some research on the Internet about trenchfree technique and the material used - HDPE pipe. Got quite good idea!

Getting so fade up with that big, old-named company, I cancelled that company and contacted TrenchFree to take the re-piping job. It was my best decision this week, and today when TrenchFree came in and completed the job professionally and beautifully, it was one of the best days in my life. I was so happy and highly satisfied with TrenchFree' s work.

Abel and his crew were able to help us when we found huge pipe leak under our house. They quickly cleaned out the debris/sewage and showed us the problem (our old pipes) he was able to give us a quote on the spot and was able to come the next day to fix everything. They're fantastic to work with and I will definitely keep them in mind for our future plumbing projects

Nate  showed up on time and cleaned out the water pan and ensured the shower  is draining. Gave me a tutorial in how to clean it and avoid future  clogging. The intent of Nate and Michael Brewer is to be the best Neighborhood business and by tutoring me on how to clean the shower pane was to save me future cost, which could in turn result their revenue NOT EVERY BUSINESS DOES THIS.

Standard snake job on a sewer line. They gave a two-hour window (on the day after Thanksgiving) that was very near to the time I called. Meny and Baldomero showed up on the early side of the time window, got the job done, no haggles, no hassles. Didn't really need two guys to do snake a sewer line, but the job got done quickly. Worked for me.
