I have lived in San Jose for over thirty years. In that time, I have used the services of many plumbers. None of them compare to John. He is trustworthy, honest and expert. He tells you exactly what is wrong and how he will repair it. I like the way in which he regarded my intelligence and that he did not condescend because I am a woman. I know that I have stopped looking for a new plumber. I have finally hit the jackpot.

Response to my call was good and arrival within an hour on a Saturday afternoon.
Gerardo resolved the root blockage efficiently. From the ways he handled the 'snake', you can tell he is a real pro. He was honest and price was reasonable (he did not charge me for a weekend rate like some plumber did).
Highly recommended.

This morning I had to call a plumber after finding several inches of dirty sewer water in my bathtub. I called a few places and got some pretty high estimates but then called Able Plumbing since an old neighbor works for them. They gave me an estimate for $140 to snake my clean-out and scheduled an arrival time for mid-morning. They called just a few minutes when they were on their way and Adrian showed up on time and got right to work snaking out the clog in the kitchen clean-out. That helped a lot but then he went to the clean-out at the back of the house and tried that. When he became concerned that something didn't feel right with the snake in the line, he suggested using their in-pipe camera system to see if there was any blockage like roots or broken pipe. For an extra $190 he checked my line all the way to the street and gave me a good report of no roots, and that my 70 year old ceramic drain pipe was in good condition! Very nice to know I won't have to be digging that up in the future! That piece of mind was well worth the money.

I have to compliment Able Plumbing for being an honest company that doesn't take advantage of a homeowner when they're in a pinch and also for Adrian for being such a nice guy and easy to work with. I have worked at multiple multi unit properties in the southbay. $15 is the best option for any plumbing problems. They do not charge $15/hr their name is strictly a nostalgic thing. They do have the lowest labor rates and most knowledgeable plumbers. The labor rate does jump up in mountain. Anything south of mountain view in the Bay Area $15 should be your go to plumber.

Omg my experience today with Mr.Khan was amazing. I had a upstairs shower leak the cause a lot of damage. Mr. khan was able to come to my house and tell me exactly what the issue was. I was very happy with the price he charged me. If your reading this review don't look any further cause this is the guy to hire. The moment I first spoken to him, I knew this was the guy for the job. Mr. khan will forever be my plumber from now on. He deserves more than 5 stars.

John did an incredible job on the crown moulding in my home.  In addition requested some last minute touch up paint work and it looked flawless! Highly recommend.  Now I am spoiled!

The overall service experience was outstanding! Ann who answered the phone was quick and efficient getting Axel the tech out to our house in less than 2 hours. Axel was fast and efficient, explaining 3 options and his recommendation. The technology they used in real time to text updates, email quotes, obtain authorization, collect signatures , payment and receipts was the best I have seen and well integrated into their very professional process. Everything was easily done from my phone as I was out of town.

Don't bother calling anyone else. These folks are fantastic!

Called Jeremy on Monday, and was able to schedule an appoint for the next day. He charged fees per job instead of per hour. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us good recommendation on the fixes. I will recommend Jeremy to my friends.

Ramez was super!  He was very friendly and did a great job in installing two toilets for our house.

All around great experience. Made the appointment online, called the next day to confirm. He was able to come during the time period I wanted, and got here right at the beginning of the window. When we realized that it was a larger problem, he tried to fix it then and there, but we both decided it was a larger job (and I needed to involve my landlord), so he wrote up my invoice, gave me the yelp deal, and was on his way in under half an hour!

Service was excellent...arrived on time and communication was great. Fixed my shower drain in what seemed like seconds. Highly recommended to anyone with plumbing needs!

I do not believe these good reviews.

I called them to get an estimate on connecting a water softener (GE) to an existing softener plumbing (replacing the old softener). The job consists of connecting two pipes  (hard, soft) and a little discharge hose. The quote was $1600 - I'm not kidding. Then the guy said that he need to build a new discharge pipe the leads to the street(!).

It took me 90 minutes to disconnect the old machine and connect the new one. I'm not a plumber, never had been. I'm not even good with my hands.

Bernard is a nice guy. Fixed my WH reasonable rate and happy customer.

I have called Khan three times in the past. He is friendly and professional and schedules the appointments right away. He or his employees do their best to come right away and they always have for me. He has replaced my clogged kitchen line and worked on my two bathroom sinks backing up. I also called him to come look at my water heater because the pilot light was going out several times a day, for four days in a row. He honored the verbal quote given to me over the phone and gave me advice about the water heater's manufacturer.

Our kitchen sink was completely clogged.  Chris responded immediately with a quote and his availability.  He showed up exactly on time, and began diagnosing the issue.  Chris was very clear about what he was going to do to fix the issue.  

He finished the job quickly, cleaned up after himself and explained to me my options if this issue came up again.  I would highly recommend Chris's services.  Don't waste time with other plumbers.

Our sewer line was backed up 2 months ago and we called Mr Rooter, they came and opened the clutch,they put a camera and told us lines are offset and recommended changing the entire main sewer line costing us roughly $18,000 if they want to dig in....
After a few estimate from different plumbing companies Ernest from Trench Free company came and spent easy 40 minutes checking whole 93 feet sewer line with his camera.
Ernest Villalobos was very hones, friendly and very knowledgeable,
He didn't charge us for his camera work and suggested we don't need to replace line, he said the only problem is a little root interfering inside pipe which can be fixed very cheap

We just purchased a new washer and dryer set and had it installed buy the company we purchased from. The installation guy did a great job, but after a few days we noticed the smell of gass In our garage, did a soap test on the connection and found a small leak coming out of the connection valve. I immediately got ahold of Able, keeping mind this was late Sunday morning, he quickly texted me back saying he would be here Monday morning. He showed up on time and quickly assessed and replaced the valve. I couldn't be happier with the service we got. We will keep recommending and using His company whenever a plumbing/rooter/gass problem arises. THANK YOU ABLE!

My kitchen sink was stopped up but luckily still draining. Pure plumbing was recommend by a friend so I called them. My problem was not an emergency so we scheduled the appointment for the next afternoon. Nathan came over to work on the sink. He got the job done, cleaned up and all was good. I appreciate the good work and fair prices. I recommend Pure Plumbing.

48 hours after moving into my townhouse I had water dripping from my master bath (3rd floor) into my guest bath (2nd floor) and down into my storage area (1st floor).  (Oh the joys of homeownership!)  I called the HOA panicked and they referred me to the person they use for repairs around the complex.  A few hours later I still had not heard back from the plumber and I turned to Yelp.  Thank goodness or I would not have found Bayshore.

Not only did Bayshore answer the phone immediately (I think it might have been the first ring!) they sent someone to me right away.  Jacob arrived exactly when promised and he immediately got to work diagnosing the problem.  Turns out someone had dried to flush paper towels down the toilet - word to the wise DON'T DO THIS! - and the water was backing up into the toilet and leaking through the floor into the rooms below.

Before beginning work Jacob quoted me the price for snaking of the drain.  He also told me that if he could not solve the problem with a simple snaking that he would need to use special equipment and quoted me that price.  Thankfully the simple snaking did it but I really appreciated that he provided the price info about what it would cost if it hadn't.

I was so impressed by this service that I asked if he could look at a pipe that had some corrosion issues identified during my pre-closing inspection.  He looked at it and informed me that someone had connected a galvanized pipe to a copper pipe resulting in galvanic corrosion (not good - usually results in a plumbing emergency at some point).  He recommended that I replace the galvanized pipe with copper pipe and gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost to do this for the entire property.  However, he did state that he would need to defer to his colleague who is an expert in repiping to get an accurate estimate and suggested that he return with his colleague at a time that was convenient for me.  What impressed me most was his advice that this wasn't something that required immediate repair but that it would be good to address now if it was convenient for me.

I highly recommend Bayshore.  I hope I don't need to call a plumber again for a very long time, but Bayshore will be at the top of my list next time I do.
