This review is solely on the professionalism of the technician, Alex. I needed my washer fix and this place popped up first on Yelp. I decided to go with them based on the many great reviews I read. We both (the technician and I) thought my washer would be an easy and quick fix, but upon inspection the problem stemmed more than that. Although, the technician was very helpful and polite, I ultimately decided it was time for an upgrade and buy new washer and dryer. I appreciate the diligent work from Alex, and will definitely book an appointment from this place again if I ever have a problem!

I recently had the pleasure of working with The Leak Detection Company and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with their level of professionalism and expertise. They were able to use their camera to accurately locate a cracked pipe in at my business and provide a solution to fix it. The technician who came out to my barbershop was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was able to quickly and effectively diagnose the problem and provide a solution that was both cost-effective and long-lasting. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of leak detection services. They truly went above and beyond and I give them a full five stars for their excellent work.

Mike and his crew are incredible. After moving in, I was in search for a reliable plumber to help tackle a number of projects in our new home. His team has installed a water softener, filtration, worked on a bathroom remodel in our primary bathroom (shower, sinks, and new toilet)...but the biggest and most impressive work was the pipe and drain work in my home bar, The Lost Grotto.

The goal was to have a fully working sink, ice machine with drainage, and a bar rail drain with glass rinsing station. Mike's team worked with my desired layout, and the result is beautiful copper pipe and drain work under the bar.

Rich Briscoe is, without a doubt, the finest plumber we have ever worked with in the last 40 years that we have owned our home. We had a bad experience with a local plumber years ago who did not complete the job as we requested and so, in our search for someone more reliable, we found Briscoe Plumbing. Not only is Rich professional, he is ingenious, thorough, and warm-hearted. He quickly responds to calls and goes over and above what he's being asked to do. A perfect example is the fact that we called him to do a bathroom job and he got it done correctly and left. 15 minutes after he left, we remembered we had a problem with a refrigerator grate that we were told by a Bosch refrigerator man was impossible to fix. Rich took on the job and fixed  it for us. Also, the handle of the refrigerator's freezer was broken and the same Bosch repairman charged us $150 to tell us it couldn't be fixed. Rich took the door off and with tenacity fixed it perfectly and we were so grateful to him and so happy. Moreover, Rich is reasonably priced, fair, and knowledgeable not just about plumbing, but about helping the homeowner get the care they need.

I recently had two interactions with Miramar plumbing that did not go well. The first interaction was for a leak in my kitchen that was also bubbling my walls downstairs. I had thought it was the dishwasher that had leaked, but this was coincidental. Nonetheless, George looked no further and missed that the actual leak was behind the refrigerator. Of course this allowed additional damage and created more issues.

I thought I would give a local business one more chance. But on this occasion we called twice over 24 hours, once stating it was urgent, and then had to call a third time. Only to be told they did not have the tools needed to do the job.

When it comes to plumbing issues thoroughness and responsiveness are paramount. Unfortunately neither of those were satisfied in my interactions.

I've been incredibly pleased with the work Bart & Nick have done. I got in touch with them via a contractor to have a small bit of work done, which wound up escalating to significant work to replace our entire water line from the street (due to age of the existing pipe). They worked quickly and very hard, communicated status updates regularly, and have come back to ensure that everything is working and make a few adjustments elsewhere around our house. I'm definitely keeping them as my go-to plumbers!

He installed a faucet for nearly $200 plus. Three months later it is seriously leaking so we turned off the water and called him.  He came and said their was no leak, and any issue was the faucet itself !! Don't think he bothered to turn the water was on. Called him repeatedly, left messages and even offered a little money to come fix it, even though it was brand new, from Costco, and was only installed  three months ago. Very disappointed! Davis Plumbing is honest, reliable, and exremely knowledgeable. Not only have I trusted Steve to make repairs in my own home, he is my go to guy for my real estate clients. We have used On Time Plumbing a few times over the last few years and have always been happy with their service. Most recently, we had a bathroom sink faucet that was leaking that we needed fixed. Isidoro came out and gave a free inspection and let us know that it would be most cost-effective to replace the faucet. He also looked at some old water filter pipes in the garage that we wanted removed and noticed our garage sink faucet was on it's way out so we decided to replace that, too.

We scheduled the job and they were able to complete both sink faucet installations, a utility sink installation complete with caulking, and also removed the old water filter pipes and capped them off...all in one visit. They were very professional and respectful and always wore shoe covers as well as masks.

I'm happy to have a trustworthy, reliable plumber that we can call for future needs. And, I really like the fact that we can support a local family run business especially during these difficult times.

On this Veteran's day, I'd like to highly recommend Commando Plumbing, a veteran owned business. Victor was able to quickly identify and locate the leak source (where others had missed), saving us from potentially opening a wall to search for the leak. We are impressed with his expertise and professionalism and would definitely call Commando again when a need arises.

We recently had our whole house repiped because we had Kitec pipes and many homes in our area had pipe failures.  We received quotes from 3 companies and decided to go with Advanced Repipe Specialist because we received recommendations from 2 homeowners in our area.  Ramiro, and his crew, were very professional and completed the repipe in a couple of days followed by the inspection and patching and texturing, for a total of about a week.  We are very satisfied with the job they did and now have peace of mind that when we leave our home, for any period of time, we won't have to worry about our pipes breaking.  Veronica, in their office, was also very helpful and knowledgeable too.

At 11:00 PM at night on a Thursday we noticed our water heater was leaking and spewing water. We looked through yelp and saw that Dependable water heaters had good reviews so decided to give a call. Adrian answered the phone right away and gave step-by-step instructions on how to fix it ourselves. Which included a part we had to go to Home Depot to purchase super early the next morning. Turns out it was an easy fix.

Heecould've charged us $400 to come out as an emergency call...instead he just walked us through it over the phone. What a guy! Thanks so much Adrian. You saved my birthday weekend from being postponed.

Our water heater in our duplex started making funny noises around 5 pm. By 5:45 I was on Thumbtack, and by 6 pm Alex from SAV Services had contacted me and said he could be here by 6:30. He was on time and ready to work. Our ancient water heater was dead - I knew it before he got here. We decided to replace both water heaters in the duplex, and Alex gave us a reasonable quote and went out then to get the 2 water heaters. He was back and at work and by 10 pm we had hot water again and 2 working new water heaters installed and up to code finally. Thank you Alex! Fantastic job!!

Total Plumbing Services was great.  They promptly returned my call and scheduled someone to come out and repair my leaky toilet.  Roberto showed up when they said he would.  Roberto was super friendly, professional/knowledgeable and quick.  I would definitely use Total Plumbing Services again.

Mike was absolutely professional! Clearly explained what was going on with my pipes at each stage of the repair as well as a clear and accurate estimate of cost. He was also pretty quick, repairing my leaking pipes in way less time than I thought it was going to take!

Next time I need a plumber, I'm calling San Jose Plumbing again!

I called Plumb Tech in order to check out a stopped kitchen sink and dishwasher drain line. The tech who came to my house was wonderfully nice, professional, and helpful. He answered all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. There turned out to be old pipes under the house which were completely corroded and leaking waste water into the crawlspace and were in immediate need of replacement. Plumb Tech wrote up a detailed report for me and gave an explanation and quote along with the report for my landlord.

Plumb Tech dealt with my wishy washy, cheap landlord and helped me along the way.

The landlord ended up using another plumber in order to replace the pipe but they left a mess in the basement and sludge sprayed all over our personal belongings.

I wish the landlord had allowed Plumb Tech to do the repair because I'm sure that the job would have been done correctly and our belongings would have been respected.

I would recommend Plumb Tech for anyone who is looking for an honest, professional experience and wants to make sure that the job is done correctly. They are wonderful and have great customer service.

I agree with Matt in that these guys were prompt and polite.  They were nice enough to come out quickly for a plugged drain.  Unfortunately they spent the next hour plus trying to avoid taking my under-sink drain apart, lugging equipment to the roof and dropping their 75 foot cable from there (there was no clean-out.)  Ultimately, they told me that the blockage was more than 75 feet away, which was the length of their cable, charged me $125 and left.  They suggested Roto Rooter but warned me that it was going to cost a fortune.  So I called Roto Rooter.  Roto Rooter went directly to my sink, and cleared the blockage using the exact same equipment.  The plumber from Roto Rooter told me that they hit the blockage at approximately 60 feet--plenty of cable left. It took them about 5 minutes to dissemble and reassemble the drain that George Allen worked so hard to avoid (though the actual work with the cable took quite a bit of time due to our weirdly routed plumbing.) They were clean and neat and gave me a 90 day guarantee.  They also do not charge if they can't fix the problem.  I did call George Allen Plumbing to discuss this, but they never called me back.  So I am letting all of you know what happened.  They may be excellent plumbers for more complicated work, but they charged me $125 for a failed job that Roto Rooter did properly for $225 (and that included a jug of stuff they left me for maintenance.)  I think George Allen could have at least returned my phone call, which was calm and polite. So, I give them 2 stars for their excellent response time.  Minus 3 stars for not bothering to return my call and for their lack of success.

I had a great experience with Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter.  A previous company had left me in a terrible situation and unhooked my hot water tank, leaving me with no heat. Rocky's came out and diagnosed the problem again, got my heat started and made a follow up appointment to do minor repairs. I am with American Home Shield and he worked with them to get my water heater working but didn't try to upsell me on a costly replacement when it wasn't needed.  He advised me on what to look for and when it would need to be replaced.  I will definitely be calling Rocky's Plumbing and Rooter for all of my future plumbing needs.  I found them easy to work with, reliable and quick to respond, plus great service at excellent prices.  And very efficient at working with my home warranty coverage which is most important since that's what I'm paying for to not have these costly repairs.
