I am very satisfied with the work that was done by this company on my home.  I needed the kitchen sink faucet replaced.  I called Emerson and texted him a copy of the existing faucet.  He arranged for a new one to be purchased and their employee showed up at the appointment time and removed the old faucet, installed the new one (which was of good quality), cleaned up and tested the new faucet.  A great job overall for a reasonable price!

I definitely recommend the Ye Olde Handyman. He has a lot of knowledge about so many things when it come to the repairs you need. I first used Ye Olde Handyman to install electrical for my new hot tub. Ye Olde Handyman has also taken care of the repairs of rotted roof along with the removal of the chimney. Now that the roof is patched any chimney gone time to have him tear out the fire place and patch the floor.

They didn't even come to my house, but I still give them 5 stars.  I had a compression fitting that I couldn't get off, and I called asking how much it would cost to have someone come and cut it off so that I could finish my hose bib replacement and turn the water back on.

The guy who answered was great to listen, question what I was trying to do, then give recommendations on how to fix it myself.  He could have just given a price, instead, he gave multiple tips, a shopping list for Home Depot, and the willingness to come out if I couldn't get it to work.  Ironically, at Home Depot, I ran into a plumber in the pipe aisle who validated everything I had just been told, so I know these guys know their stuff.

He saved me $129 for a weekend service call, which unfortunately they lost, but it really showed the integrity of the company.  I was able to fix the issue myself in reasonable time, and I'll definitely call on them first if I ever need future work.

My shower valve broke and needed to be with the new shower set. The plumber was very knowledgeable and provided me with a couple reasonable and affordable options. Once I selected and option he got started right away and completed the job fairly quickly. Excellent service!!

I recently needed to repair my garbage disposal and called Citywide plumbing because of the reviews. I will tell you I was not disappointed. The plumber arrived on time and knew exactly what to do. He gave me a great deal and I will definitely be using them again.

We used Reed Plumbing at the recommendation of a realtor friend of ours. We were very happy with their work. It was efficient and solved the problem beautifully. They explained exactly what were doing to fix our leak.
So when Reed appeared at the top of the Yelp search results, I knew to look no further. Marco came out at a time that worked for my schedule. He worked efficiently and solved the problem at a reasonable price.

These guys are great, very reasonable pricing, and very prompt. Called them for an emergency installation of a Tankless Water Heater, and they gave the estimate the same day, and did a great job installing the next day. They finished the work very fast, and good quality work and very friendly to work with. Would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Asylbek gave me a very competitive rate and was able to squeeze me in with short notice due to urgency on my side. He was very diligent as the house is the brand new construction in Palo Alto and we were very sensitive to ensure minimal wall intrusion. He hanged two wall mounts inside and outside with new outlet in both locations. He also hanged about 8-9 various wall decors. Highly recommend.

We returned from a trip to find that upstairs toilet had 'blown a gasket' and water had overflowed tank leaking through the floor.  Art came out within 2 hours of my call.  He diagnosed what happened and rebuilt the shutoff valve assembly with parts from his truck, saving me the cost of a second visit.  Toilet working again for $143.  Cheapest plumber visit I've ever had!  Now if only I can get the ceiling and floors below repaired for the same cost!  LOL.

My first thought when speaking with Cedric on the phone was, This young man was raised well.  He and his team were really wonderful.  He made 2 trips to my home, which was 20 miles from his business, for a broken water heater.  Was only charged for one trip.  Came back the same day to install new water heater.  I could tell by his work that he really knows his plumbing.  I liked him right away.  Big smile.  The ladies in the office were also considerate and gave me time to plan my payment of the bill.  What a relief to meet an honest plumber who cares.  I have him on speed dial.  Thanks, Cedric.

We were SAVED by Charlotte & Moe for the SECOND TIME in two years! Last christmas we had a septic nightmare on boxing day morning,  (pipes busting, septic overflow, the works) and the Palo Alto Plumbing & Dahl Plumbing team were able to help us same day which SAVED our foundation. Now, one year later, we had a leak from a refrigerator down our walls and into the basement. Even though they were booked full for the next week they ended up being able to make a last minute stop and within 15 minutes fixed our problem and got water running to the house again. Not only are they always so kind over the phone but they genuinely care about what is happening. Their service is fast and extremely respectful and they will do whatever it takes to help us in our time of need even on holidays or during busy seasons like the current rainy weather season. We will never not rely on them and their service! Thank you so much again, can't recommend enough!!

I was referred to Josh by a friend for our plumbing needs. I work in a small office in Los Altos and hired J. Fisher Plumbing to take care of the plumbing in our office. I was very satisfied with the prompt service we received and the quality of the work done. Josh is very responsive via email and phone and he really is an expert in his field. I would definitely recommend J. Fisher Plumbing for any office or home needs. He makes you feel valued as a customer and cares about cleaning up after a job. For the great quality of work done, his prices are very reasonable.

I had a water heater installed. I called Henry's Plumbing to get a quote. It was the best quote. So I went to Yelp nothing but great reviews. So they were the best price and great reviews. Of course I had to go with Henry's Plumbing. They came the very next morning and within 2 hours I had a new water heater installed. Ben and Leo were super friendly. knowledgeable and thorough . They explained everything they did and how it works and what to do if I need to change or take care of something with my new water heater, if need be. Bottom line I am sooooooo happy I had gone with Henry's Plumbing if I ever need there services again I won't hesitate to call them and if anyone needs any type of plumbing service these are the people to call , You won't regret it! That's why I'm writing this review. I always love to share great experiences!!!

Called them for a relatively big job moving outside panel... they have minimum $80 charge to come and give you an estimate? seems unreasonable.

Work was done fine.
Charges were a problem.
1. Charged for a helper $60 surprise
2. Charged for 2 hours total for 1 hours work,  they had to go to the store for a standard part (also brought back breakfast) ( took 1 hour)
3. Charged me with no mark-up for a $20part  - over $100

Vince was referred to me by Home Depot to help with some plumbing projects around the house. I called him with no clue of where to even begin and he took his time explaining what I needed to purchase to get the job done. He even offered to help buy the stuff himself! Thanks to his guidance, I was able to easily get the right stuff ready and we set up an appointment.

He showed up right on time and installed everything and identified some additional problem areas with his expert eye and offered to fix it for a discount. The family also felt very comfortable around him. Very honest and great guy all around. We will definitely be turning to Vince for all future needs.

My parents always called on Guy Plumbing and always received the best advice and repairs from them.  I have hired them for the past 23 years and they've fixed very difficult problems, given advice that saved me time and money and have always been very honest, professional and expert in their work.  So that makes me a SECOND generation, very happy customer of Guy Plumbing, but that's nothing -- Guy Plumbing is a FOURTH generation, family owned and operated company that has helped people since 1948!  Troy (of Guy Plumbing) came today and once again amazed me with his helpfulness, ability, good humor and efficiency.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable and professional. I received a text and was able to see how far he was to our location. He fixed our problem quickly. Great service!

Stay way from this business! Worst service I've ever encountered! Called them to look at my jetted tub. He filled it with water then looked underneath, he said he couldn't see a leak. This whole process took 15-20 minutes. He then wanted $136 for his time. This didn't sit well with my husband so he called to complain that the plumber DIDN'T DO A THING. Well turns out this guy was the owner and he refused to give us a refund. He claimed he doesn't work on jetted tubs. Well he should have said so when we initially called! Lesson learned.....this company sucks!!!!!

Benjamin Franklin plumbing sold us an on-demand water heater 7 years ago which recently started leaking.  We contacted that manufacturer of the unit who provided us with the new heat exchanger which was covered under warranty.  Unfortunately, labor was not included in the warranty coverage so we contacted BF plumbing to have a service person come to our house and replace the part.  Here is a summary of our experience:

I asked the person on the telephone if BF has experience servicing this make/model water heater and she responded, Oh yes absolutely!.  I then made an appointment to have a service person come out two working days later, between the hours of 8 AM - noon.

On the day of the appointment, having taken a day off work, nobody had arrived by noon so I called them and the person I spoke to told me that they had a scheduling error.  So much for the company that advertises itself as The Punctual Plumber.  To their credit, they apologized and told me they would have a technician out by 2:00 PM and the technician arrived shortly before 2:00.  I thought that everything would be back on track, but this was when things got ugly....

The technician told me that the unit was installed incorrectly and offered to fix everything for me.  When I told him that the unit had been installed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, he told me that the company was under different ownership previously and that they were not responsible for what the company had done when it was under prior ownership.  Even if that was a true statement, I would think that a company with an ounce of integrity would stand behind an installation that has their name attached to it.  When I told him that I only wanted the leaking part fixed, he hum-hawed around, telling me how difficult it would be to repair, and then stated that he thinks someone back at the shop knows something about these units but that it is too difficult to fix while is it hanging on the wall and would need to be completely disconnected and taken back to the shop (not true according to the manufacturer of the unit).

He then told me he could get me hot water the same day be installing a new unit at a discounted price of FOUR-THOUSAND-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!  We paid 3,500 for the original unit which had included all of the conversion costs to switch to a tankless water heater.

I sent him away (thankfully he did not charge for the service visit...he was clearly embarrassed) and referring to the instructions that came with the replacement heat exchanger, successfully changed out the part myself, having had no prior experience, and without removing it from the wall, in about four hours simply by carefully following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the unit.

Pretty sad when a company misrepresents its experience, arrives late, does not stand behind its prior installation and tries to take advantage of the situation by selling us an even more expensive unit.  Also pretty sad that they are unable to service a unit that they sold us.  On the positive side though, if the dang thing ever leaks again, I will know how to fix it myself (it really wasn't that difficult).

I gave them one star only because zero stars is not an option.....
