I had water coming out from underneath my toilet. I called a few places, but Juan answered right away and was at my house within an hour. He figured out the problem right away and his price was decent. He also gave me advice on preventative measures.

I will definitely be using him again and I will recommend him to everyone I know that has plumbing issues.

We were without hot water until we could get some drywall up in our external water heater closet.  I contacted Ye Old Handyman for a quote and I got a response minutes later from Nick.  Compared to the several others I reached out to, his cost was more reasonable, and I also appreciate his expertise.  He was able to schedule us even with his busy schedule, knowing we were without hot water and have a newborn!

Nick arrived on time.  Again, since we have a newborn, I had to be precise about how to contact us upon his arrival because didn't want to wake the baby!  He was extra considerate on that point.  After looking at what we needed, he even recognized what the restoration people missed (more mold in the wall) and removed it.  He also straightened and cleaned up the work the restoration people did (they did a poor job).  I was able to go about my business while he went working away, and did do the job quickly and efficiently.  

Overall Nick was knowledgable, trustworthy, explained the process the entire way, and did an amazing job!  I recommend him for any handyman needs!  He also is a Cal State Fire volunteer, and since the drywall was meant for fire safety, I was happy to have him working on it for my family's safety.

Had a kitchen drain leak at a juncture of a slab floor in a finished room just below the kitchen. After cutting and jack hammering into the floor to replace the buried elbow, we found the whole cast iron drain in the concrete rotting out. I felt a slow shipwreck on the way. Replacing the pipe meant cutting the slab floor across the room under a wall and into the tiled bathroom. Fortunately they figured a way to reroute the drain outside to a cleanout pipe not too far away. Had the kitchen sink up and running in less than two days, versus who knows how long and how much!

The crews were very efficient and neat. They showed up as promised, or sooner, to perform the various cutting, trenching and plumbing tasks. They kept the cutting dust to a minimum and cleaned up well afterward.

Maybe not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

KVN Plumbing did a good job helping me replace my tub spout. Kevin responded to me within hours on a Sunday and serviced my tub spout the next day. He was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. I would work with KVN Plumbing again

Our shower developed a leak and the first handy-man I had try to fix it replaced the cold valve stem (I think), and the problem seemed to be fixed.  It just came back a couple weeks later, though. So we decided to get real plumbing pros to do it.

I reached out to Citywide based on their Yelp! rating, and I'll get to the details, but they earn every star.  I included pictures, and Jessica got right back to me with a quote in 20 minutes.  She explained they could only do a new single-handle Delta valve, would need to open the drywall, and would retain the removed section for easier drywall repair.  This gave us the opportunity to replace the fixtures for the whole bathroom in matte black, something we'd been wanting to do anyway.  Jessica patiently worked through the details with us, advised us on parts ordering, and delivered an updated quote covering replacing all the fixtures.

Johnny arrived on time in a serious, I brought everything I could possibly need work truck.  We went over the work site, I cut the house water, and he got to work.  A couple hours later, we checked out the finished work, turned the water back on, and it was perfect. No leaks, and he also fixed a looseness in the pipe running up to the showerhead so it won't move in and out anymore.

Johnny wore foot covers to keep our floor clean between the front door and bathroom, protected our bathroom shelves from sheetrock dust, and cleaned the bathroom really well after the work was done.  He communicated well and was a great professional.

I highly recommend Citywide.  I should have skipped the handyman and gone straight to the pros.

We are extremely happy with Reed Plumbing services!  Maria in the office is very professional, pleasant, understanding, and got us into the schedule as soon as she could (no hot water!!!)  Pepe and Angel were prompt, professional, worked hard, knew what they were doing, respectful of our home, and did a nice, clean job.  Marco came out to check that job was going well. Reed Plumbing solved our hot water problem, in a timely manner, at a fair price.  Afterwards, we had a little problem with low water pressure from 2 faucets, but Marco came out as soon as he could to fix the problem.  Marco, Pepe and Angel all took the time to explain the problems, and the possible solutions.  We appreciate their patience, their professionalism and their attitude to help us fix our plumbing problem.  If we ever need a plumber, we will call Reed Plumbing!

Waking up with a clogged drain in kitchen could be stressful. I quoted on Yelp and the owner Andres replied messages instantly with a very reasonable quote. We scheduled and Soto came 2 hours later. Soto was very easy to communicate and very knowledgeable. And of course he fixed the issue with a breeze and paid very good attention to keep my kitchen clean. I would recommend everyone who has drain problem to this business. Fast, affordable and crisp! BTW Yelp quoting really works.

Tegene Handyman Service helped me out so much I one hundred percent recommend these guys to do whatever you need! We submitted a Yelp request and he quickly responded, and came in for everything done and more in such a short amount of time

I've only had good experiences with Palo Alto plumbing. When we've had problems, they've shown up promptly, fixed the problems correctly, and charged us the amounts that we expected. They're definitely not the cheapest (we realize that we're paying for their Palo Alto rent), but their staff knows what they're doing and charges you fairly.

Dependable gentleman. Hardworking and honest. Hes busy and that is a good thing. If he wasn't busy, I'd be worried when calling.

James Glover came when scheduled (note it was a 2-hour window too, not a 6-hour as is often the case). Sabrina updated me several times to let me know what time he was expected, which allowed me to get grocery shopping done while I was waiting.
James is friendly, polite, professional, has a good sense of humor, and thoroughly knows his stuff and explained patiently and clearly to me in detail exactly what was wrong with my appliances and breaker box and what could be done. All my questions were addressed.
I had a great experience and now James' card is in the place of honor on the fridge. Will definitely be calling this company again for any electrical issues.

Wow! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH ELDRIDGE AND SONS PLUMBING!!!! What a day...After having 2 other contractors come to give estimates to replace our water heater that flooded my entire garage. Their Technician arrived almost immediately, the walk through only took about 10 minutes or so. He helped me mop up most of the water and move around the garage, it was such a mess & I was supposed to be at work by this point, I was stressing myself out, he was so happy to help, what a relief. When I got off work that afternoon the quote was already in my email inbox!! They hooked me up and had it all fixed that Thursday afternoon faster, and at a MUCH, MUCH more competitive rate. I dont know how they did it for so much less. Needless to say my Wife was happy we had our hot water back

We had Frank from Benjamin Franklin plumbing come out to fix our dish washer and he was great, fast, and wonderful to work with. We also happened to ask about this terrible noise that our pipes were making, and he fixed it quickly (and cheaply). We also appreciated that Frank came quickly to our house to fix everything. We had first called other plumbers in the area but were either cancelled on or they didn't show up. I did read the other reviews and see there might be some problems with the company itself, but Frank was great!!
