Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA
We needed to replace a 15-yr-old kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and NG was recommended by our next-door neighbor. They didn't disappoint! They made an appointment within 24 hours and were right on time. The old piping was a jigsaw of twists and turns and Juan cleaned that all up to install the new disposal. Great guys, very responsive, very clean during the work and when finished! Will use them again soon for our water heater.

This review took far too long to post and I apologize. Anyway I just wanted to give a glowing review to this most excellent handyman who went above and beyond during his visit.
Because I have bad arthritis and my wife has MS we can't really do all of the tasks around the house we used to. So every now and then we have to hire a handyman which hasn't always had the greatest result. However this time we were very pleased with the service and anticipate calling him back again soon to a couple more things.
We specifically called in order to get help in installing a wall TV mount and also mounting a wall lamp. We also needed to tall bookcases earthquake strapped 2 wall studs. The main issue with our apartment being that the studs are very strange and not always where you would expect them to be based on any reasonable kind of construction normals. He was able to find studs for our mounts and get everything installed in very short order as well as attaching the earthquake straps to our bookshelves. While he was doing this he actually went to the trouble of showing how I could figure out using a tape measure in particular measurements to find the studs in our weirdo apartment.
So we would like to give a great recommendation to this most excellent jack of all trades. His costs were also very reasonable and actually less than the last handyperson we used who was a complete disaster. They were up in Seattle though so you don't have to worry about them.

They didn't even come to my house, but I still give them 5 stars. I had a compression fitting that I couldn't get off, and I called asking how much it would cost to have someone come and cut it off so that I could finish my hose bib replacement and turn the water back on.
The guy who answered was great to listen, question what I was trying to do, then give recommendations on how to fix it myself. He could have just given a price, instead, he gave multiple tips, a shopping list for Home Depot, and the willingness to come out if I couldn't get it to work. Ironically, at Home Depot, I ran into a plumber in the pipe aisle who validated everything I had just been told, so I know these guys know their stuff.
He saved me $129 for a weekend service call, which unfortunately they lost, but it really showed the integrity of the company. I was able to fix the issue myself in reasonable time, and I'll definitely call on them first if I ever need future work.

My shower valve broke and needed to be with the new shower set. The plumber was very knowledgeable and provided me with a couple reasonable and affordable options. Once I selected and option he got started right away and completed the job fairly quickly. Excellent service!!

Johnny from Citywide has come through in the clutch! Citywide, for the win, again! Had a water heater leak, and the home warranty insurance would not cover replacement until I replaced some old, single walled venting that connected to the water heater. Johnny came out, scoped the project, and he and a co-worker, came out to fix it quickly, even though the necessary sized piping was tough to find. He got finished with the job an hour earlier than estimated, cleaned up quickly, and when my water heater installer that was assigned by my insurance company came to install the water heater, he said that my plumber did a perfect job! Johnny even left an extre pipe piece for the water heater installer. Doesn't get any better than that. Thanks Johnny!

Overwhelmed. You'd be hard-pressed to find such timely, professional, honest, and quality service. Marco and Nacho are knowledgable in trade, diagnosed the problem quickly, and efficiently explained their next steps. I honestly, couldn't recommend a better plumbing company. Words cannot explain. Relieved. And happy companies still operate with such care.
I've never had such prompt quality service anywhere. Just, WOW.

Very great experience with this company. We realized our kitchen sink was clogged and wouldn't drain water one night. I messaged a few companies through Yelp and this was one of the first to respond. We got on the phone and scheduled an appointment for the following morning at 11. They actually called the next morning saying they can arrive earlier, around 8:30. They came with proper COVID-19 precautions and did a very prompt job. The sink is officially unclogged! They were very knowledgeable and professional as well. They got the job done within 30 - 45 min. Highly recommend!

Abdu is an amazingly skilled individual who I've been turning to for years. With every new house project that arises, he discusses the best course to take in order to make my dreams a reality. He recently came for 4 projects: painting crown moulding, re-grouting a bathtub, installing a pair of hand-carved doors onto an armoire, and mounting a hand-carved door frame onto an existing doorframe. Everything turned out beautiful, and we have Abdu to thank for it.

Very professional, I was really impressed. Very polite and they let me know what was going on every step of the way. They were fast. They were also clean in their appearance and their work, cleaned up after themselves and always wore shoe covers when entering the house, no foul language either. They worked beautifully as a team! They take cards and I got an email receipt with the description on the work they did and the amount I paid. I was really pleased with the service.

Our plumbing began backing up Saturday morning. I called Palo Alto Plumbing and Max sent Phil out to work on our problem. Max stopped by to see how things were going as it seemed like a two man job. They were here most of the day and finally determined we needed to check with the City to see if the blockage was out by the street. It was determined that we needed more to find the blockage and get the plumbing back in working order. Monday morning first thing Carlos, Edgar and Mo were at the house to determine what needed to be done. They all worked together to get us back in the house as quickly as possible. From Charlotte , their receptionist to all the guys that were here they were couteous, and so helpful and did a wonderful job! They are the only company I will use for all my plumbing needs.

Scheduled within 2 days from our initial phone call. Showed up on time in their clean, recognizable work van. The Technicians found & repaired an additional problem we didn't know about & repaired them promptly. Very polite & professional Technicians (& wore face masks). We highly recommend Henry's Plumbing & we will call again for any future plumbing issues.

Yesterday we had to call the fire department due to loud noise, rumbling, smoke puff then acrid odor coming from outlet on kitchen counter. Thankfully it did no damage and wonderful fire department recommended immediate fixing by qualified electrician. I called Pacific Coast Electricians and was very happy to receive their fantastic customer care and help to get someone out to our home the very same day. Johnathan Garcia was the technician sent by the company . We were very impressed with his knowledge, attention to detail and excellent service. I asked if he could check out two problems I had been having with two exterior outlets and he provided a excellent solution. He solved our initial problem plus solved additional two. I will be using this company in the future and asking for Johnathan because he is everything you are looking for in a professional skilled electrician.

Vince came out during the latest wind storm and power outage to address a geyser that happened in our backyard. Part of the rear fence blew over and broke a pipe, which was shooting water 9 feet into the air. I had to turn off water to the entire property to get Old Faithful to stop, but that meant we needed someone to come out quickly. After a Yelp search on a Sunday afternoon, I landed on VIP. Vince picked up immediately and was at our place within 2-3 hours. He fixed the pipe in about 45 minutes for a reasonable price. Total pro that I'll use again!

I could not get hold of my plumber, so called 24/7 rooter & plumbing to take care of snaking my upstairs shower and toilet, which had been backing up into each other. Additionally the toilet was leaking water at its base. 24/7 came out on time and said the job would cost $225 and take 20 minutes, which I thought was pricey, but I didn't have a better choice. After showing the service person my clean out drain on the outside of my house which clears clogs to the sewer, installed so these folks don't need a heavy duty rooter upstairs, the service person didn't seem to know what that was.
After he spent about 30 minutes trying to clear the drain, the shower now had about 1 inch of sewage in it. He said he'd have to call in another man to heft a 250 lb. rooter upstairs, that they would have to take the toilet off its place on the floor, and that it would be another $200. I can't be sure if this was a bait and switch tactic but it felt like it.
Although upset, I could not now use either shower or toilet so I said yes. My daughter waited for them so I could go to work. As I let the first person out the front door, I saw raw sewage dripping down from cracks in the paint above the door trim. I asked if a pipe had broken to cause this. He said no. The second man with the heavier rooter came about 30 minutes later, and my daughter said they were here about 2+ hours.
They finally cleared the clog, but had I stayed I would have wasted about a half day with this. Their equipment left sewage and some very sticky adhesive all over my bathroom floor, two bath mats, and shower floor, they used several good bath towels without permission that had to be laundered, and got black adhesive and other grime on my expensive wallpaper, which I haven't been able to get off. Additionally, my daughter spent over two hours cleaning up. I will never use these folks again.

Doug was great. He understood the problem and how to solve it immediately. Unfortunately my outside shutoff valve was a commercial size and a new one had to be obtained from the supplier. He was back the next morning with the part and installed it quickly.

We had Frank from Benjamin Franklin plumbing come out to fix our dish washer and he was great, fast, and wonderful to work with. We also happened to ask about this terrible noise that our pipes were making, and he fixed it quickly (and cheaply). We also appreciated that Frank came quickly to our house to fix everything. We had first called other plumbers in the area but were either cancelled on or they didn't show up. I did read the other reviews and see there might be some problems with the company itself, but Frank was great!!
