Nick was very easy to setup an appointment with and helped me with out electrical issues around the house. He was very effective in teaching me how to fish, talking through the troubleshooting techniques we went through along the way. I won't need help on similar projects since he's helped me out...but for anything else, I'll be reaching out to him for help.

It was an emergency! My neighbor's waste water was being back-flowed into my kitchen and it was flooding!! We turned off all the water in the condo building, everyone had no water, I called a dozen plumbing places and they were all booked and everyone could not come out until the next afternoon!!  I went down the list, called Kevin, he came out 30 mins later, unclogged, talked to my neighbors, explained everything, clean up my kitchen, and gave me a very reasonable price!!  I can't believe I found him, thank you Kevin!!

I needed a dryer vent installed for my gas dryer (in garage, very long distance to travel to the outside) and part of my gas line replaced--Johnny and his team did a fantastic job at a really fair price!
Johnny was the only plumber I talked to who recommended that I get a booster fan to help with venting and condensation build up since the vent pipe is way longer than standard due to where my laundry hook ups are in the garage. Such a good idea as it turns out!
The installation was well done, good materials used, and everything was neat and tidy when they left. Johnny was incredibly responsive via phone and email, and was on time for both the estimate and subsequent work.
I'm incredibly pleased and Citywide Plumbing will be my go-to company for any future plumbing work.

P.S. There was a small issue with the fan (a fluke manufacturing issue, nothing to do with Citywide's work), and Johnny came out to replace it and fix the problem. I really appreciated his conscientiousness and quality of service.

I received five responses to my request for a price quote.
Gator Rooter was the first contractor to respond with an appointment that was available within four hours of my inquiry.  Robert responded to my inquiry on yelp and confirmed that he was able to provide the service I was requesting, asked for my cell number and address and provided me with a window for when I could expect him to arrive.  Upon his arrival he diagnosed the problem and offered me a quote for a simple resolution and a extensive resolution.  I accepted the quotes and he proceeded with the work.  Thankfully the simple resolution was what I needed.  I am happy with the work so far and would recommend this contractor to anyone looking for emergency plumbing services.

Abdu and team were very professional with my bath sink replacement! I am happy with their work and would hire them again for any handyman needs!

We had a leak in a built-in tub faucet that had suddenly had spouted into a stream. The great thing about them was that they were at my doorstep within 20 minutes. He figured out what was wrong with my faucet but needed a special ceramic stem from that manufacture. He didn't have that part on hand but was able to go to his supplier and be back to fix the faucet within an hour.

He had a problem getting the handles on. It seemed the fitting-washers for this faucet had to  be put on just right. He didn't charge for the extra time needed to figure this out. It seemed that the installed stems were about a millimeter too short. We were able to get it all installed but took the extra trouble to call me back the next day to let me know that he had checked with the manufacture of the faucet to see if they had a longer stem to fit this fixture and they didn't.

After Hours Plumbing and Drain is by far the best plumbing service in Monterey. I have an old home--don't we all--and every time I give these guys a call, they are fast to arrive, do an outstanding job, and their prices are very reasonable.

As a brand, they knock it out of the park as well. All of their plumbers and service technicians are very friendly, and you can just tell they all love working together and working for After Hours Plumbing and Drain.

I would trust this company to work on anything. In fact, one of their plumbers is swapping out my hot water heater right now, and I trust their work so much, I'm leaving this five-star review while the job is in progress!

Satisfied for 5 years on HW heater, faucet leaks, AC annual maintenance. These guys are intelligent and professional. They *think* before making repairs. They know their stuff. (Example: Servicing my HVAC for the first time, they saw the installer had failed to activate the Two Stage feature that kicks the furnace into overdrive when needed). For 6 years the prior service guys had never said anything. And they show up when promised.

I was in need of a plumber to fix a broken sink drain and replace my laundry hookups and was referred to Josh Fisher. We called him this morning and he was here by this afternoon! His pricing was fair and he was incredibly respectful and professional. So glad that I found Fisher Plumbing and I will definitely use them in the future!

Henry's Plumbing was professional, fast, and courteous.  I will definitely be using this service for all of my plumbing needs in the future and highly recommend them.  On average Henry is at least 1/2 the cost of the larger plumbing services out there!

Started out good but spiraled out of control quickly. Eric was the first contact when I had a power outage. He was very helpful but I needed a rewire.  The quote appeared high but they explained Ygrene financing which was pretty much incorrect. They also stated they would assist with insurance, which they did not until 1 month after my claim was already paid they tried to file the documents.
The biggest issues is the low quality of contractors they hire and the ability to reach anyone consistently. Examples:
1. First plaster repairer blasted music, swore up and down, lied about previous appointment, threw trash away in recycle cans and washed plaster equipment in my sink. I asked he not come back.
2 months later new plaster person comes, work looks good except they missed 4 repairs, damaged my stereo and bent my shelves.
2. Roofer threw shingles in my yard and left, no-showed and left other garbage.
3. Whole process began 12/15/2017 and last fix did not occur until 4/27/18
4. PGE complained about the additional whole and pipe through my roof which should not have occurred. Pipe not attached to wall and therefore increases stress on roof.
5. Took a month of calls to get reimbursed for damaged
6. $5000 in fees for something my insurance paid for because of Ygrene.
7. Insurance member at pacific coast did not return calls and I filled claim.
8 older pipe from box removed and person thought they would leave the hold rather than getting a roofer, leaving roof exposed
9 tried to illegally trim tree without discussing with owner and without need

Please read all the fine print and understand what you are getting yourself into for a rewire. Thought it would take 1 month instead of 5

My house is over 100 years old so any plumbing work is tricky business.  Keith has done several plumbing projects for us over the years and has done an amazing job, especially this last one where he had to fix some issues done by an amateur.  Personable, professional, creative and always willing to keep me informed and aware of options.  These folks are the real deal.  Highly recommended.

We had engaged Vince to install our water softener unit. He was very responsive and gave us a very good overview of the process and shared the estimate. He did a follow up and gave us timeline on when he could come over to install. On the assigned day he came over and did a thorough job of installing and checked to ensure everything is right. He did a follow up next day to ensure everything was smooth and proper. Vince is very responsive, prompt, respectful and professional. Would recommend Vince any day!

Guy Plumbing installed a seismic gas shut-off valve at our home. Their charge of $480 seemed high to me, and even moreso when I subsequently smelled gas in the area of our meter and found that the valve had been poorly installed. PG&E found a leaking connection to the valve and not only tightened it, but painted the bare pipe installed at the same time as the valve (as recommended by the valve manufacturer but deemed unnecessary by the plumbing company and not included in their $480).

Chris Hall came out and did a great job, couldn't have asked for better customer service.... he was quick, knew exactly what was going on and cleaned up the place better than it was when he showed up. Company would be wise to keep this guy around

Our family uses this company for our multiple plumbing needs, but recently, I was forced to call their weekend emergency line.  Within the given time, I had a call back from Dave.  He patiently walked us through shutting off the leaking water heater (sensor problem),  so I wouldn't have to shut off the main.  Many thanks to this reliable company for their help!

One word for them - Terrible. I called them a day ahead to setup an appointment for my kitchen sink faucet.. They gave me 3 hour window from 2-5PM the next day. Right then I was impressed at first at how prompt they were.

Then the next day I took my afternoon off from work from 2-5PM and came home to wait for them to show up. In the middle of this timing window provided by them, their office calls me up saying that they can't send anyone over for the next 2 days because some of their guys didn't show up.

What I'm disgusted about is not even that they could not send someone over for an appointment they agreed on, but that they waited till during the timing window, wasted my day and then bailed on me.

I would give them 0 stars if i could.
