I am very satisfied with the work that was done by this company on my home.  I needed the kitchen sink faucet replaced.  I called Emerson and texted him a copy of the existing faucet.  He arranged for a new one to be purchased and their employee showed up at the appointment time and removed the old faucet, installed the new one (which was of good quality), cleaned up and tested the new faucet.  A great job overall for a reasonable price!

Nick repaired the front door and fire door going from the kitchen to the garage in my mom's house.  I submitted a quote request on Yelp to 4-5 handymen, and Nick was the first to respond.  Both doors in my mom's house are quite old and did not close properly.  Nick did an amazing job and gave me options we could take along the way.  When he was done, both doors were completely fixed to my satisfaction.  

Additionally, I asked him for guidance on maintaining the doors and he provided some great tips for me while he was doing the work.  Nick is very friendly and personable as well.  Nick obviously has a broad set of skills and I would highly recommend him for handyman work.  In fact, before he left, I booked time for him to do some work on my house in Pacifica pertaining to evaluation of mold in a wall in one of my bathrooms.    Thanks Nick!

This is an overdue review.  Simply Green came to our rescue about 3 years ago when on Halloween night (Saturday around 10pm)  they came over to clean our sewer line.  The sewer line was completely clogged and water in the house was standing in every sink and toilet... I called several companies in the area and they were the only one that were able to come within half an hour and gave us a good price (considering it was Saturday late at night).

The second part of this review is for their customer service. We got into a sticky situation with our constructor who is finishing up or big project and I needed a second opinion on the price.  They did not have to do that, I told them upfront that the job is done and this was just a second opinion call. Russell talked to  me and spend a good amount of time on the phone explaining how they would go around doing the job and what the price would be. Thanks again Simply Green!

I've had really good  experiences with KVN plumbing. They come when they say, The work is done professionally and I never have to wait around for them. The customer service is amazing and they are always friendly. I have had multiple problems in the past  year when I have requested their service and they have always done an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

I had a small leak in my irrigation line. I was messaging with Adu around 4pm, and he came over that night and worked on repairing it. Ended up coming back the next day to finish. Great service!

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.

I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

Work was done fine. They did upcharge me for costs that weren't in the original quote. Recommend you get a written quote before committing to the work

Unexpected plumbing issues during a pandemic can be concerning. But Palo Alto Plumbing exemplifies exceptional service and skill. Kitchen sink was backing up and the guest shower needed some triage, so my property manager setup a visit on Monday 8/10/2020. Originally, we were scheduled for a potential 4p - 6p arrival time, but this team was able to move us up so our tech arrived closer to 3p. Christine called me around 2:40p to ensure someone would be home and, as expected, our tech Joe showed up. He'd been at our house previously for a similar issue, so we welcomed him in like an old friend. Considerate, courteous, and friendly, Joe excels at his occupation. He not only fixed our sink issue but even spent the extra time to confirm the shower was running as well. I called to leave a rave review and Charlotte let me know that she was pleased to hear from us. All around, this team puts in the effort to make it happen for their customers. Thank you, Palo Alto Plumbing, for all that you did today to resolve our issues. Big respect to Christine, Joe, and Charlotte!

I was referred to Josh by a friend for our plumbing needs. I work in a small office in Los Altos and hired J. Fisher Plumbing to take care of the plumbing in our office. I was very satisfied with the prompt service we received and the quality of the work done. Josh is very responsive via email and phone and he really is an expert in his field. I would definitely recommend J. Fisher Plumbing for any office or home needs. He makes you feel valued as a customer and cares about cleaning up after a job. For the great quality of work done, his prices are very reasonable.

I've used Henry's several times and always find them to be accommodating, efficient, and competent.  They're my go to for any plumbing problems.

I had a few minor plumbing issues that I had been putting off resolving for awhile (one drippy faucet, a toilet that runs, etc). I finally did the research and after seeing the reviews for Eldridge decided to hire them.  I called yesterday and left a message, was provided with a prompt call back and was scheduled for today.  Keith spent less than 2 hours at my house, explained each issue and quickly repaired all items.  The final price was very reasonable for the amount of time he was in my house. I am very happy with the service and results.

I've had the tankless since we moved into the house back in 2007 and have been poor at doing regular maintenance myself. Vince came out and was fantastic at explaining the problem, fixing it and what I need to do going forward. Very nice guy, easy to talk with and pricing was fair (better than others I had contacted, some were not helpful at all). Also fast+responsive to get it fixed ASAP.

They answer the phone. The lady that answers the phone is extremely knowledgeable and patient. They showed up on time. They got the job done quickly. The price was reasonable. I like them!

Sean just left.  My shower drain backed up and flooded my hallway.  I have lived in my old Edwardian flat for 20+ years and this has happened 4 times so I have been around this block a time or two.  Sean was pleasant, professional, tidy and he explained what he was doing.  He diagnosed and fixed my problem (a clog) in 10 minutes.  In the past other plumbers have started with the complicated and worked backwards from there.  Sean started with the simple and instantly fixed the problem.  He was conscientious of my neighbors and their driveways and parking.  His rates were EXTREMELY reasonable.  After dealing with plumbers who have tried to upsell me on complicated procedures, I am refreshed and impressed.  Everything about my experience with 24/7 Rooter and Plumbing was excellent and positive.  I highly recommend Sean.  Thanks Sean!!!!!!!!

My water heater leaked all over the garage and under my house, eeek!  Called Thomas Plumbing and they sent someone out right away, found  the problem and recommended that I get a new water heater.  They did the fix that afternoon.  They were very pleasant to work with and I would recommend calling them for plumbing issues.  I will be calling them again!  Thanks!

Benjamin Franklin plumbing sold us an on-demand water heater 7 years ago which recently started leaking.  We contacted that manufacturer of the unit who provided us with the new heat exchanger which was covered under warranty.  Unfortunately, labor was not included in the warranty coverage so we contacted BF plumbing to have a service person come to our house and replace the part.  Here is a summary of our experience:

I asked the person on the telephone if BF has experience servicing this make/model water heater and she responded, Oh yes absolutely!.  I then made an appointment to have a service person come out two working days later, between the hours of 8 AM - noon.

On the day of the appointment, having taken a day off work, nobody had arrived by noon so I called them and the person I spoke to told me that they had a scheduling error.  So much for the company that advertises itself as The Punctual Plumber.  To their credit, they apologized and told me they would have a technician out by 2:00 PM and the technician arrived shortly before 2:00.  I thought that everything would be back on track, but this was when things got ugly....

The technician told me that the unit was installed incorrectly and offered to fix everything for me.  When I told him that the unit had been installed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, he told me that the company was under different ownership previously and that they were not responsible for what the company had done when it was under prior ownership.  Even if that was a true statement, I would think that a company with an ounce of integrity would stand behind an installation that has their name attached to it.  When I told him that I only wanted the leaking part fixed, he hum-hawed around, telling me how difficult it would be to repair, and then stated that he thinks someone back at the shop knows something about these units but that it is too difficult to fix while is it hanging on the wall and would need to be completely disconnected and taken back to the shop (not true according to the manufacturer of the unit).

He then told me he could get me hot water the same day be installing a new unit at a discounted price of FOUR-THOUSAND-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!  We paid 3,500 for the original unit which had included all of the conversion costs to switch to a tankless water heater.

I sent him away (thankfully he did not charge for the service visit...he was clearly embarrassed) and referring to the instructions that came with the replacement heat exchanger, successfully changed out the part myself, having had no prior experience, and without removing it from the wall, in about four hours simply by carefully following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the unit.

Pretty sad when a company misrepresents its experience, arrives late, does not stand behind its prior installation and tries to take advantage of the situation by selling us an even more expensive unit.  Also pretty sad that they are unable to service a unit that they sold us.  On the positive side though, if the dang thing ever leaks again, I will know how to fix it myself (it really wasn't that difficult).

I gave them one star only because zero stars is not an option.....
