Juan called me back right away, gave me the best quote, and showed up a few hours later. He was in and out, in less than an hour. I had a clogged main line, he used the pressure jet to not only clear the clog but cleaned out all of the piping. We used a camera to see that it was done correctly and that there were no other issues. Really great service, very satisfied customer. I'll be sure to refer my family and friends!

We were without hot water until we could get some drywall up in our external water heater closet.  I contacted Ye Old Handyman for a quote and I got a response minutes later from Nick.  Compared to the several others I reached out to, his cost was more reasonable, and I also appreciate his expertise.  He was able to schedule us even with his busy schedule, knowing we were without hot water and have a newborn!

Nick arrived on time.  Again, since we have a newborn, I had to be precise about how to contact us upon his arrival because didn't want to wake the baby!  He was extra considerate on that point.  After looking at what we needed, he even recognized what the restoration people missed (more mold in the wall) and removed it.  He also straightened and cleaned up the work the restoration people did (they did a poor job).  I was able to go about my business while he went working away, and did do the job quickly and efficiently.  

Overall Nick was knowledgable, trustworthy, explained the process the entire way, and did an amazing job!  I recommend him for any handyman needs!  He also is a Cal State Fire volunteer, and since the drywall was meant for fire safety, I was happy to have him working on it for my family's safety.

Customer service was great, that's about all. I tried to use this company for my business needs but took forever to get someone out to look at the issue. Then after 2-3 minutes diagnosing the problem and saying he didn't have parts to fix the toilet, the tech. tried to upsell me to buy a whole new toilet for a small leak.

I was having an issue with our washing machine backing up into the bath tub and then the bath tub not draining.  Kevin arrived on time and was very professional throughout his time working in the house.  He wore a mask and shoe protectors and nicely folded my bathroom rugs and put his own work mat down.  Snaked the drain thoroughly and then cleaned up after himself, replacing my rugs when finished.
I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service.  I've definitely got his card at the top of my stack now!

My dishwasher was getting clogged, and I called to schedule an appointment. Over the phone, he gave me a quick thing I could check on my own at home (pipe to sink clogging), which did the trick. Really appreciated him being focused on solving the problem in the quickest way possible, rather than coming by for an appointment (even though that would have made him money). Thanks!

I had a ceiling leak on a Friday night.  I called several plumbers, with no call-backs.  I called After Hour Plumbing on a Saturday morning, and received a call-back within ten minutes.  Cedric arrived within a few hours.  He not only located, and fixed the pipe leak, but also repaired several other major plumbing issues. Everything was handled efficiently, and professionally. After Hour Plumbing is now my go-to when it comes to anything involving plumbing!!  I could not be happier with this company! I highly recommend!

Palo Alto Plumbing has worked inside our home on our heaters and AC units, and now has replaced our main sewer line.  Their work is always good, Charlotte does a great job with scheduling, Max has kept us warm with his work on our heaters, and Moe, Ben and Rico were terrific with replacing the sewer line.  They were very careful in working inside our landscaping, including putting our landscape lights back properly.  They even finished a day early!  Their prices are very fair, especially when I consider how reliable and trustworthy they are.  I will continue to use them as needs arise.

Dependable gentleman. Hardworking and honest. Hes busy and that is a good thing. If he wasn't busy, I'd be worried when calling.

Enrique answered the request for a ​quote on Yelp promptly. The quote was reasonable and he came on time (next day). Granted, it was a simple problem (clogged drain), but he handled it professionally and on time. He was done within an hour and verified everything was working fine. I am keeping his card for the future!

The team came to install a Tesla Wall Connector and did a great job. My particular installation had some limitations that were overcome beautifully. Very patient throughout the process. Great for a variety of needs - heating, electrical, plumbing... Pricey but worth the investment. We've been using them for two years for our needs and wouldn't call anyone else in South Bay. When dealing with our water heater, TJ was the best.

These guys are amazing! Very very honest, knowledgeable and professional. Quick workers who are very careful when in your home. They spent more then half the day at our house replacing drain pipe and they did an incredible job. Chris, Nick, Wade- they are  all great. They patiently took the time to answer all my questions. I have had a re- occurring drain problem for years, usually plumbers come in, and just put a band aid on it, charge too much, and don't actually fix the problem. These guys have patience and knowledge and took the time to actually fix the problem at a reasonable price. These guys are really on the ball! I  absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to all my family and friends.

I chose VIP Plumbing due to the number of people who used them to install an Aquasauna salt-less water softener / filter system. I am very glad I did. Vince came out to my new house and did a fantastic job on the install. He was very knowledgeable and skilled in installing the system. It is clear that this is one of his specialties. I waited about 9 months before writing this review to ensure that everything was working perfectly and trouble-free, and I am happy to report that it is! The system looks fantastic, there have been no issues whatsoever with the install, and I feel confident that I ever needed anything VIP would be ready to help me out. I am very happy I chose VIP Plumbing for this project.

For plumbing services I would highly recommend Alex at Guy's Plumbing & Heating in Menlo Park, CA.  The response to our phone call was prompt and the visit efficient.  Alex repaired both our kitchen and our bathroom faucets, explaining the problems and the repairs needed as he worked.  His work was thorough and neat.  And the price was right.

Have them quote a leaking toilet issue, some learnings:
1. they charge $65 for onsite estimate
2. they don't cut the drywall, told me to find other companies to cut the wall and they only do fixing

I don't recommend as:
1. they quote me $495 for simply removing the toilet (yes, 3x higher than average market price)
2. My appointment was 2-4pm, they arrived at 6:30pm. Two and half hours late but still charge onsite estimate fee

If you don't deal with plumbers a lot or new house owner, be sure to protect yourself and get multiple quotes, as there is company in Bay Area like this one giving you unreasonable price.

I was so desperate for a water heater after ours started leaking all over our garage floor. They installed a new water heater the next day-wow. So thankful that I found such a nice family owned company.

Called BFP, via their 800 number that advertises 24/7 emergency services, on a Friday night. I tell them i need a plumber to come by and install a new toilet and toilet flange. The Old one was wobbly and water started leaking from the base.

The person on the line said they can have someone out on Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Kinda odd that it would be (3) days for emergency work. She did say it was pretty busy after the holidays and i have a spare bathroom i can use anyways, so i agreed to the appointment. I gave her my name, address, cell phone number and email address. She said she would be sending me a confirmation email shortly. Never arrived. Please note that during the call, i ask her a few times that it will be on sunday from10 to 2.

Sunday comes around and i wait all day for the plumber... No one shows up or calls to inform that no one is arriving. So now i am scrambling to find a plumber.

I finally find someone that is local and schedules work to be done on Tuesday. While i am at a dentist appointment on Monday, someone from BFP calls and leaves a voicemail that they have a plumber in the area and they can be there at 11am.

Hmmm, my appointment was for Sunday from 10am to 2 pm and they call the next day and say they can come by.... Sorry buddy, a no show / no call on Sunday, there is no way i am going to trust what you say anymore....

Wish i could leave ( 0 ) stars instead because no work was done.
