I definitely recommend the Ye Olde Handyman. He has a lot of knowledge about so many things when it come to the repairs you need. I first used Ye Olde Handyman to install electrical for my new hot tub. Ye Olde Handyman has also taken care of the repairs of rotted roof along with the removal of the chimney. Now that the roof is patched any chimney gone time to have him tear out the fire place and patch the floor.

We had a pipe burst under the house and needed a repiping. Russell has his crew were quickly out and matched another offer from the company that burst the pipes when they snaked under our home. They had 9 people out at our house working underneath, inside and outside working for a couple days.

Simply Green did way more than they needed to and exceeded our expectations. They protected the floors and walls first before getting going. Plus afterwards for little fixes they were responsive and thorough and took cares of those.

Great team. Great owner. He's the best in his field. If you want to do the job right and trust the service and get it done with a permit to get it right these guys should be your plumbers. I'd give them 10 stars!

Kevin is amazing! I had some plumbing issues, because the house is old and needs a lot of attention. He took the time to carefully explain everything to me, took pictures of the rusted pipes, and helped fix the plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom area. I found him to be very reliable and knowledgeable about his craft. I highly recommend reaching out to him! He also worked on several houses in our area that are being remodeled and was referred to me by my neighbor across the street.

First off, Johnny is both professional and courteous.  Johnny replaced the seal to a toilet. The spout to the bath tub was replaced. A new garbage disposal was installed. And a new kitchen sink faucet was installed. Overall, the work done was professional and completed in a timely manner. Pricing was fair. An written estimate was given on the initial visit. I would have NO problems recommending Johnny/ Citywide Plumbing to anyone!

Really bummed, I heard so many good things about this company. I called and told the girl that answered the phones what was going on and she asked me to email her pictures, so I did.  I asked her when I can get on their schedule, I never got a reply.

I cannot begin to describe how helpful Andy was. He showed up to an emergency situation in 40 minutes, spent almost 30 minutes finding the clean out (which I had no idea where it was), and then resolved the problem. He was incredibly professional and charged me a reasonable price. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

I needed to replace my vanity in short notice and Tegene Handyman service responded within minutes. He came the next day and finished the job thoroughly and professionally. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.

I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

I can't actually rate them as they didn't respond to my phone calls or emails.  Disappointing, since they had such good reviews.

A simple call to fix a house A/C system turned into a customer service nightmare. They are so busy apparently because of the location, they do not really care about individual clients. My A/C quit on the hottest day this year so far; the company charges almost $200 an hour for an overtime visit; any visit in a reasonable time frame (when you are not working and can be at home) is considered overtime, weekends included. The tech came as scheduled few days after I called and replaced an air filter which he admitted was ok but as a precaution he changed it, since its only $15. Then he told me that I need to basically replace entire AC system (brand new house so I doubt his advice). His suggestion required another visit for 2 people and many hours of work. I reluctantly agreed since I do not have time to argue and get a second opinion; because the company gives 5 hours window - I asked them to call me before the tech comes. The technician did call me but I missed the call and tried to call him back within 2 minutes. I've been calling him and leaving messages for a week, no answer. Today, of course, I got a hefty bill for all the work done. So result of this ordeal of the service: A/C not fixed, don't know whats wrong with it, no work was done and a huge bill presented. Talking to the girl that answers the general phone line and reasoning with her would cause the bill to multiple, even though she is polite and was really apologetic - but the bottom line is almost no work was performed while expensive and the AC still does not work. My humble advise - find someone who is less busy and can care about getting the job done, instead of extracting money with minimum or no work but so many excuses and apologies.

J Fisher was referred to me by another plumber. I ways very impressed with their response and their knowledge. Jim was sent to my house to replace some Kohler faucet parts. Jim was knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. I was quoted one hour and he was finished in exactly one hour. I highly recommend these guys - they are now go-plumbers!

Once again, Henry's Plumbing came out to help, lickety split. I called on a late Friday morning because the water heater was leaking. They came out within a few hours and replaced it. They are friendly and do great service! I would highly recommend.

They came to checkout the AC which wasn't working. After the troubleshoot, they gave me three quotes, $3200 (a fix no warranty for labor or parts), $4000 (with warranty for x months), $15649 (an up sale to replace the entire system). I asked why the $3200 option doesn't provide warranty. They gave me an execute that the $4000 option will install an extra part which that they can't provide warranty. Then I asked them to break down the cost of labor and parts. Pacific Coast refuses to break down the labor and parts. I started to suspect their price.
I get another company to troubleshoot the next day. Their recommendation is the same as the Pacific Coast $3200 option ( replace circuit broad and thermo control) but huge difference in price. This company gives me a break down of parts $169 and labor $380, total $549 vs $3200 from Pacific Coast.

It's pretty obvious why Pacific Coast didn't want to break down the part and labor.

My friend highly recommended & used Eldridge for years for her commercial properties. Both my shower/tub drains clogged up.
Owner Wade returned my voicemail on Sunday nite to schedule appt. & Keith came early Monday AM. However, after using drano a few times, drain cleared up eventually.
Keith tested & no snaking required (very honest - didn't try to charge me for unnecessary service).
Recommended not to use chemical drain cleaners to avoid pipe damage & try vinegar instead.  Since I had a few other minor plumbing issues within my service call charge, Keith replaced tub faucet cartridge & troubleshooted.  I was very impressed by Keith's honesty/knowledge/professionalism/options to save money. Very detailed & thorough. Listened to my concerns & gave good tips.

I've dealt with shady plumbing companies in the past that overcharge, rush, don't know what they're doing.
Eldridge is now my #1 plumber - integrity/honesty/knowledge/professionalism/friendliness.  Keith is a certified Plumbing specialist....  reasonable rates & high quality!  You can't go wrong using Eldridge!!

Vince came and did an excellent job fixing our leaky and rusty pipes on water heater. Vince is very knowledgeable about water heater plumbing and his work is quick and beautiful! Highly recommended! We will definitely call them for our future plumbing jobs.

We had a terrible experience with Guy Plumbing.  Our garbage disposal had stopped working.  Someone from Guy came out and found a dime in the disposal in less than 5 minutes.  I was charged for a full hour service call at $156 and the plumber packed up and left before I could have him look at our leaky shower or anything else.  We live within 1 mile from Guy Plumbing.  I offered to pay the plumber on the service day and he refused payment indicating that we would be billed.  When I called to discuss the $156 charge for less than 5 minutes, Guy reduced it to $99.  Again, I offered to pay over the phone and was told I would be billed.   Now a few months later when going through our mail, I find a notice that Guy turned the $99 bill over to a collection company (I guess we never received the original statement in the mail).  Guy never called us or anything before turning our account over to collection even though we've worked with them on several plumbing projects without any issues throughout the years and I had already offered to pay the bill twice.

This place is top notch.  

I worked with Sean on both visits, and not only did he give me rudimentary plumbing information to help me understand the basics, but he went above and beyond to determine the root cause of our problem, because it clearly wasn't something with our apartment.

Both dispatches have been pleasant, Sean arrived on time, and took care of any problems very quickly.

I couldn't recommend anyone else except this company, they deserve your business if you have any plumbing issues.

We've had Thomas do other projects in the past with great results, they installed a heating system and a water heater. We recently had a major water leak in the upstairs bath and under the house in the main drain, they were prompt to respond and very reasonable with their pricing. We cannot recommend them any higher than 5 STARS, if we could we would. Thanks for the great service guys.
