Juan called me back right away, gave me the best quote, and showed up a few hours later. He was in and out, in less than an hour. I had a clogged main line, he used the pressure jet to not only clear the clog but cleaned out all of the piping. We used a camera to see that it was done correctly and that there were no other issues. Really great service, very satisfied customer. I'll be sure to refer my family and friends!

I needed a quick fix to a door problem and contacted Nick after looking for local handymen in the area. While he was busy he kindly squeezed me into his schedule after talking about the door issue. Really nice and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I was pleasantly surprised that he is a licensed contractor, not all handymen are, so his knowledge base/skill set is vast. His rates were fair and he has a really cool mobile work station with all the tools one could ever need for a job. I'm definitely hiring him again for future projects. A dependable knowledgeable handyman with good communication skills is a rare find these days so he's a keeper for home issues. He was pretty local to me but actually services a wide area in the Bay Area from the east bay to southbay.

Overall, I am extremely happy with Russell's service and would certainly recommend him to my friends.

I am NOT happy with MY antics that got me into this mess.  I broke off my tub-shower faucet when trying to You-Tube-It.  I called three plumbers, and while Russell was a little higher on the quote, he was the most sympathetic on a holiday weekend and came the following morning. We were able to communicate easily by phone, using texts and picture texts to get a sense of the problem.  

When he came, he had to cut into the wall, remove the broken plumbing, and put in a new manifold. Three hours and $600 later it was done. He was courteous, friendly, and respectful.

I don't enjoy hiring contractors as I am suspicious of them by nature, having felt taken advantage of in the past.  I did not get this sense from Russell, and in future remodels, I will definitely call him!

My shower valve broke and needed to be with the new shower set. The plumber was very knowledgeable and provided me with a couple reasonable and affordable options. Once I selected and option he got started right away and completed the job fairly quickly. Excellent service!!

Amazing good, clean, profession installation! We are very happy with Tung's work.  Our 17 years old Water heater leaking and beyond repair. We sent out 3 requests in the morning. Citywide called back in 20 minutes and came as promised around 12 noon the same day. Tung wrote up an estimate of ~2K  (delivered & installed & discard of old Water Heater) for a new Reems
40 gallon NG water heater including new copper piping & new valves and new hardware .... price was higher than we thought and we decided to wait for another estimate for comparison. However, Tung advised us  if we remove the old water heater and deliver the new water heater from curbside to basement, we could save the labor cost of up & down 2 flight of stairs. We did and got a discount. Maybe we paid too much but we love Tung's installation and our new hot water unit .... thank you CityWide.

We've used Reed once or twice before and been very pleased. But they won my loyalty this week. We had a problem with a shower in our house and I was concerned that it was a leak or something major. But after a few back and forth messages with David (the owner, I think), he talked me though a couple simple things to try to fix the problem. Turns out one of them worked and it ended up being an easy repair that I was able to do on my own, and now the shower is working great again, and I didn't need to have anyone come out. Not a lot of small business owners are willing to talk themselves out of a service call and fee. I offered to pay, but David declined. Reed will definitely have my business next tie we need a plumber!

The business owner is very responsible and quickly arrange his crew for our toilet replacement. Highly recommend to family and friend.

Abdu did a great job caulking and applying grout to my bathtub and shower. He is very respectful, kind, and hard-working. He does high-quality work at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Abdu for any of your handyman needs!

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.

I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

Used this company twice (and tomorrow a third) and can't say enough good things about them! This last time, Ivan did a fantastic job of unclogging the bathtub while also pointing out something that will eventually need attention (hence tomorrow's visit). Honest, courteous, friendly staff, very reasonable pricing and quick scheduling make this the company to beat. Cedric runs a first-rate operation!

I have called Palo Alto Plumbing for jobs big and small for the past 15 years and my most recent visit was just as awesome as my first! The team at PAP helped me set up a bar sink in my family room. They plumbed in the water and plumbed out the waste and set me up for finishing steps. Josh is fantastic! I've had him/his team put in plumbing for a new shower and come out to fix a leaking kitchen sink faucet (separate occasion). As others have said, the fees are quite reasonable. I also appreciate that he and Jim are both on time, and that Josh is quite communicative, whether by email or text (and probably by phone, but I didn't try that). I can't imagine looking for another plumber now that I've found these guys!

I cannot recommend them highly enough! Responded promptly, came out quickly and made the necessary repairs to our water heater without charging a fortune. Will absolutely refer them to anyone in need of a quality plumber!!

My tenant reported a water heater leak @ 8:00am.  I called Wade Eldridge and they (Chris & Nick) were out that afternoon, on time.  They brought a lighthearted attitude with them, and worked efficiently & resourcefully, as a team,  -  which counts, because they just charge you by the hour. Luckily, we had easy access to the unit, but I was also able to save some money by clearing the work zone and draining the heater prior to their arrival.   New 40 gal heater, new flex lines, pipe cutting & soldering, new earthquake strapping, old heater gone - $762.

I had a poor installation by previous plumber on a Rinnai tankless water heater. VIP came about 2 hours after I called and fixed it. The previous plumber had neglected to add one way valves, had not included a condensation filter and did shoddy soldering. Vince worked until 9pm at night! Highly recommended! Vince worked hard to get things done right. He is passionate about his work and goes above and beyond. 5 stars.

The plumbing service was fine.  But the plumber spent at least 20-30 minutes telling me about his childhood days playing sports in Northern California, from the Bay Area to Clear Lake, budding football star who was discriminated against by the coaches.  I complained that I was charged for the full-time that the plumber was there, even though I am sure that they could have done the job much faster without all of the storytelling, which I had to endure through.  At $146/hr, 15 minutes is worth $36.50, so this is what I believe to have been overcharged for, and I told them so at their office. I had been waiting for the new bill, to be reduced by $36.50, it just arrived, but disappointingly, with no change to the amount, no reduction.  This is my reason for writing this review, I believe I was over-charged.  Needless to say, I will be looking for another plumber in the future.

They saved my a$$ when I had an emergency leak. They got to my apartment with an hour and fixed the broken stop valve.

I was very please with the promptness of Thomas Plumbing.   Dave Thomas called back within the time he specified and had a technician out quickly.  They addressed an issue under our house (crawl space) with the kitchen drainage pipe and were able to fix it without a problem and at a very reasonable cost.  Cody was very straightforward, thorough and efficient.  

I would highly recommend Thomas Plumbing and will not hesitate to call them again if any other plumbing issues arise in the future.

They quoted me $450 for seismic strapping of a water heater.
Another plummer, Marc Morrow, did the job for $100.
I don't know what they were thinking, I guess they thought I must be some kind of idiot to accept that quote.
