My sink has been clogged for over 3 weeks, and I tried a lot of things to fix this. Draino didn't do it, called another plumber and they companies snake broke in the pipes. I was so fed up with this situation, and luckily we found them through a referral. My goodness, they are punctual, polite, bilingual, and patient with everything, took there time to explain what the issue was and how they manage to fix it. I was floored with how fast they fixed the issue. Would use again and would gladly recommend them to everyone.

Nick was very professional and thoughtful of the client's situation.  It is reassuring to find an all around fixer who can handle a variety of projects.  We plan to hire him every time there's a need.

Simply Green was one of two bids that I got to repair a leaky laundry/kitchen waste line underneath my 56 year old home.  I crawled underneath my home on a Sunday and discovered puddles of water and active drips.  This was urgent.  Two plumbing companies showed up on the next afternoon day.  Although SG was the higher of the two quotes, I chose them because:
1) Russell's polite, STRAIGHTFORWARD COMMUNICATION and on time first visit impression.
2) Ken's thorough crawl in the subfloor, taking photos, and diagnosing of the problem's source.
3) Gary's EXPERTISE and EXPERIENCE shows, and he convinced me of his commitment to DO THE JOB RIGHT and up to code.
4) I got the feeling that the company's mission included delivery QUALITY SERVICE while being ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS.

So we scheduled 4/17/14 for the job.

Russell called me at 8am this morning, 4/16/14, and informed me that they had a job cancel on them.  He asked if I wanted the work done today instead of tomorrow.  Fortunately I was able to take the day off, but I wasn't able to meet with them until 9:30am.  Gary (who I specifically requested to lead the job), John and Wilbur were at my home ready at that time.  However, there was an unexpected inspection appt for another job at 9:45am so two of them left to take care of this.   These two both came back at 11am and this is when the job really began.  

Normally I would deduct one star on a review for the aforementioned mishap, however this is what earned them back their 5 total stars:
1) Three to four plumbers on the job from start (11am) to finish (6 pm).  They were focused, DID NOT CHIT CHAT with each other while working, and only took about 30 to 45 minutes for lunch.
2) So that I could gain a few inches in the crowded space for a newer washing machine later, Russell and Gary were able to fulfill my additional request to move the laundry's standing pipe inside the drywall.  Russell taught me a DIY (do it yourself) fix to fill in gaps with foam spray at the laundry line's clean out in the garage.
3) Their ability to EXPLAIN THEIR ACTIONS whenever I had questions.  
4) They tolerated and were FRIENDLY TOWARDS my two toddler CHILDREN who were running around house the whole day.

Overall, HARDWORKING professionals and an OUTSTANDING team!  Highly recommended!

I was having an issue with our washing machine backing up into the bath tub and then the bath tub not draining.  Kevin arrived on time and was very professional throughout his time working in the house.  He wore a mask and shoe protectors and nicely folded my bathroom rugs and put his own work mat down.  Snaked the drain thoroughly and then cleaned up after himself, replacing my rugs when finished.
I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing service.  I've definitely got his card at the top of my stack now!

Contacted them via yelp two days ago, got a confirmation email that they received my request for assistance, and then never heard from them.

second time I've used them, and they arrived when they said they would, did a great job, did not overcharge, and cleaned up.....plumbers were very personable, and I will continue to use them.....owner of firm is animal lover, AND volunteers in the community...

Super high quality and very fair prices with someone with high trust. He works fast but doesn't take shortcuts. Art is the head of the Co and normally manages all aspects of the work. Quote, ordering parts, installation and ensure all work meets the customers satisfaction.

Our underground drainage from downspouts was blocked and backed up in recent storms. After Hour Plumbing sent Tyler to clear it and he did a great job of  Hydro-Jetting roots that had entered from the street and cleared the problem in less than an hour. He was friendly and easy to work with. After Hours Plumbing makes smart use of customer friendly technology throughout the engagement. I found it easy to reach out and connect with them quickly, schedule service, approve work and pay our invoice. We're very satisfied and would use them again.

On a Saturday afternoon, we called Palo Alto Plumbing and were given a 2 hour window. They arrived EARLY and completed the furnace repair in 5 minutes tops. Max was cordial, competent and wonderful with my 91 year old Mother.  We were so grateful that they were there for us and got her heat back on. Thank you Max and Palo Alto Plumbing!!!

Josh has done many jobs at my old house.  He is honest, professional, beyond reasonable, and extremely dependable.  By far the BEST plumber in the valley!!!  Thank you Josh:-)

Night before last I woke up @ 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and heard water running....no faucets open and toilet was not running.  I went downstairs and the noise was louder in the closet but no water in the house that I could see at 3 a.m. Turned the water off outside at the main valve and the water running sound stopped.  When it got light I looked at the meter to see if it was spinning and it wasn't moving which means it isn't an outside pipe break in the yard....WHEW!!  I then went to the room under the house where the hot water heater is and no water puddles or water leaks anywhere under the front part of the house....WHEW! I then turned the water valve on and went back up to the meter and it was moving but slowly.  I had to shut off the water to the house which was a complete bummer because I am 3 weeks post hip replacement surgery and NEED water. Yesterday I looked again in the closet where the loud water sound was and yep...when the water was on it had been seeping in on the closet wood floor and wall was wet.  I called Henry's Plumbing today, they came out this afternoon and :
Cut open the drywall in the downstairs bedroom closet.
Exposed pipe leak.
Found old corroded galvanized water pipe leaking in inaccessible area causing water damage to walls and floors.
Cut and removed old corroded cold water line.
Cap off and removed other old water lines.
Turned water on and flushed system.

I will definitely will call them again if I need them.  They are professional, polite and got the job done. Thank you Henry's Plumbing!

Warning. Long review incoming.

I was in talks with a few people for a 2 unit mini-split system, and got a few quotes. I chose Pacific Coast because they said they had a WiFi unit for the price I was looking to spend.

I made an install appointment and told them that I work 60-70 hours a week and asked if they can do the install in 1 day, since I don't have a lot of free time. They said yes.

Install day came and I noticed they only brought in 1 unit. I asked them if they are installing both. They said they are only installing one unit that day and will come back another day to install the second unit. I was a little frustrated. I asked if that unit would be up and running when they were done and they said yes.

By the end of that day they said that they were done with the install. I asked if I could use the unit. They said no because the electrician has to come out and run power to it. A little bit more frustrated.

They asked me if I wanted the electrician to come out the next day. I said no because I had to rest in the morning for my upcoming 16 hour shift in the afternoon. I asked to be scheduled the next week on my next day off.

The next morning at 7am my doorbell rings and it's the electrician. My frustration level is continuing to rise. I tell the electrician he can go ahead and work and to call me if he had any issues. I go back to sleep and he calls me about an hour later. He tells me my power line coming in from the street is bad. It's frayed and burned through its housing. He said it's a fire hazard. He gives me a quote on it, and of course after hearing that, I agree to have it replaced. He also says my main electrical circuit panel is old and I should upgrade it. I agreed to it. He said he would come back out on the day the mini-split team was working. He said he would finish all the electrical that day.

Second install day is here. So both the installers and the electrician are there. I asked the installers if the second unit will be finished by that day. Their response was, I'm not sure. I hope so. Unacceptable answer. It was supposed to be a one day install. I also asked them if this unit would be able to connect to WiFi in order for me to control in from my phone. The installers looked confused and began asking each other if the unit was able to do that. The electrician was working on the main power line and the main electrical circuit panel. I asked him if he would also be running power to the mini split system. He seemed confused and told me no. He said he was only there for the main power line and circuit panel.

At this point I am extremely frustrated. This company seems as if they will tell you anything you want to hear to acquire your business. The lack of communication and professionalism is astounding.

I called my project manager and told her what the installers and the electrician told me. She said she would call me back. She called me back and told me she was sending out a second electrician to run power to the mini split system and that the mini split units had an adaptor that can be installed for the WiFi, but the adaptors are out of stock. I asked when they would be back in stock and they said they had no idea.

Everything got done that day and they said they would let me know when the WiFi adaptors were back in stock.

I got a call shortly after and they said the WiFi adaptors were in stock and I scheduled an install. The installer came and said he never installed the adaptor and looked very confused and spent a lot of time reading the install manual.

A month or 2 later, I noticed that my mini split unit in the living room was leaking water. Someone came out and said my pump was leaking. He said he fixed the problem.

Fast forward again and the unit was leaking again. This time they sealed the roof where they drilled in to install the unit.

Fast forward again and I found a leak in my garage. This time it's where they drilled a new hole to run the electrical down from the main power line to my new circuit panel. They sealed the roof.

Fast forward again and now I had a screeching noise coming from my unit in the bedroom. Someone came out and could not recreate the noise. He said next time it happens to record a video of it and text it to him directly. I texted him the video. No response. I gave up on that issue and am just living with it.

Fast forward again. The living area unit is leaking again. The guy they sent out said the last guy that sealed the roof did it wrong and that he had to re-do it.

Fast forward about a year. I get an error code and both units stop working. Guy comes out and says all the refrigerant leaked into my wall because of a bad install.

Fast forward another year and I notice the AC is cold, but not as cold as it should be. I figure the AC unit just needs to be serviced. Guy comes out and guess what? Another refrigerant leak!

Do yourself a favor and go with another company.

I manage Los Gatos Storage Services, and back in July the San Jose Water Company decided that we needed to repair our backflow prevention assembly. Wade came out to attempt repairs and quickly discovered that a full replacement of the assembly was required. He took the time to show and explain why we needed a replacement.

It took only a week for the assembly to be ordered, replaced and a retest to be performed. They were quick, professional and the customer service was outstanding. Correspondence from the initial call to when the work was performed was a tad slow, but that aside, I would highly recommend Eldridge & Sons Plumbing for any plumbing needs!

My old toilet needs to be replaced. I called them and made an appointment. But unfortunately they are 35 minutes late and did not bring the new toilet as they promised. When they stepped in, I asked them to wear masks and shoes cover. The manager was very mean saying to me: you have to wear the mask too because you asked us to wear masks!! Literally I waited 3 hours and got the answer we did not understand each other well and have to make another appointment. Very very very bad service! I was wondering how could they get 5star review! They should be out of business!!!

I contacted several plumbing companies. I spoke with Troy Guy to get some pricing for my aunt and uncle's homes. He was very patient, nice, and accommodating. I met with the older Troy last Friday to fix the backyard pipe. He was quick, friendly, and did an excellent job! Today, I met with the younger Troy to repair the leaky bathtub valves. He was also great, fast, and overall honest guy. Pricing was extremely fair. I would definitely recommend them!

Our Technician arrived in less than an hour, was polite, curious, and just wonderful to work with.  Have these guys on speed dial for the future.  THANK YOU!

Cody, the plumper from Thomas Plumbing was a credit to his profession and to his company!!! He was professional and he had great people skills. He explained every step of what he was doing. When I asked for his recommendations he gave them clearly, then left the decisions up to me. He worked with diligence and efficiency while maintaining a cheerful attitude. When he was finished he double checked his work. I was very grateful to have my plumbing problems fixed. The price was fair too.
The bonus for me was that I have used Thomas Plumbing a number of times and I have been very happy with them EVERY TIME!!!

Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday and they canceled my appointment that morning with no alternatives but to wait a few days.   I don't know why I decided to try this company but I thought why not, my mistake.  I decided to contact Mr. Rooter who I had used in the past and they came out that day and completed the job quickly.  I will never call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again.
