Everything I needed when my old hot water heater started leaking. Juan was exceptionally professional as he explained and discussed in detail what options- tankless vs. tank, costs, including additional piping and permits that might be required. He advised me without upsale as I live on SSDI. The price was fair and exact with no hidden fees. He used higher quality straps and a pan that hadn't existed before. I'm highly recommend this business.

This review took far too long to post and I apologize. Anyway I just wanted to give a glowing review to this most excellent handyman who went above and beyond during his visit.

Because I have bad arthritis and my wife has MS we can't really do all of the tasks around the house we used to. So every now and then we have to hire a handyman which hasn't always had the greatest result. However this time we were very pleased with the service and anticipate calling him back again soon to a couple more things.

We specifically called in order to get help in installing a wall TV mount and also mounting a wall lamp. We also needed to tall bookcases earthquake strapped 2 wall studs. The main issue with our apartment being that the studs are very strange and not always where you would expect them to be based on any reasonable kind of construction normals. He was able to find studs for our mounts and get everything installed in very short order as well as attaching the earthquake straps to our bookshelves. While he was doing this he actually went to the trouble of showing how I could figure out using a tape measure in particular measurements to find the studs in our weirdo apartment.

So we would like to give a great recommendation to this most excellent jack of all trades. His costs were also very reasonable and actually less than the last handyperson we used who was a complete disaster. They were up in Seattle though so you don't have to worry about them.

Ridiculously overpriced plumbers. I trusted them because of the good reviews online and my neighbor recommended them. I now feel completely ripped off as I realize I was charged about 5x the price of other plumbers. On top of that, they swapped out the wrong type of pump which failed a few months later. Do more research on other sites and you will find other people have recently had similar experiences as I've had. Most of the good reviews on here are old reviews, not new ones. You've been warned!

My shower valve broke and needed to be with the new shower set. The plumber was very knowledgeable and provided me with a couple reasonable and affordable options. Once I selected and option he got started right away and completed the job fairly quickly. Excellent service!!

Citywide was great.  Tune came out and was able to determine the pooling water in my neighbor's and my yard was not from a broken line on our property as the city of San Francisco was suggesting.  City of San Francisco wanted a report from a licensed plumbing company.  We were then able to show San Francisco Water Citywide's report and then have the City of San Francisco come back out to do a water test in order to determine if it was groundwater or a leak from a main up the hill.  Citywide was amazing in not charging us since they said they did not have to do much other than write a report and their was nothing to give an estimate of. Thank you Citywide!

I had a great experience with Abdu and his partner. They were great to communicate with, gave me great confidence in their work, showed up on time and was very responsive to communication. And did a great job, cleaned up, was thorough, required like no oversight, and I will totally hire them again. (Oh and very reasonably priced especially compared to many other quotes I had gotten)

We had a leak in a built-in tub faucet that had suddenly had spouted into a stream. The great thing about them was that they were at my doorstep within 20 minutes. He figured out what was wrong with my faucet but needed a special ceramic stem from that manufacture. He didn't have that part on hand but was able to go to his supplier and be back to fix the faucet within an hour.

He had a problem getting the handles on. It seemed the fitting-washers for this faucet had to  be put on just right. He didn't charge for the extra time needed to figure this out. It seemed that the installed stems were about a millimeter too short. We were able to get it all installed but took the extra trouble to call me back the next day to let me know that he had checked with the manufacture of the faucet to see if they had a longer stem to fit this fixture and they didn't.

Super late at posting a review but I do believe this company deserves 5 stars. Great experience, the plumber and the man I spoke with on the phone were very kind. They got to my house much quicker than I ever expected  .. fixed the problem and were gone all within about an hour and a half. Talk about getting shit done. Lol

A simple call to fix a house A/C system turned into a customer service nightmare. They are so busy apparently because of the location, they do not really care about individual clients. My A/C quit on the hottest day this year so far; the company charges almost $200 an hour for an overtime visit; any visit in a reasonable time frame (when you are not working and can be at home) is considered overtime, weekends included. The tech came as scheduled few days after I called and replaced an air filter which he admitted was ok but as a precaution he changed it, since its only $15. Then he told me that I need to basically replace entire AC system (brand new house so I doubt his advice). His suggestion required another visit for 2 people and many hours of work. I reluctantly agreed since I do not have time to argue and get a second opinion; because the company gives 5 hours window - I asked them to call me before the tech comes. The technician did call me but I missed the call and tried to call him back within 2 minutes. I've been calling him and leaving messages for a week, no answer. Today, of course, I got a hefty bill for all the work done. So result of this ordeal of the service: A/C not fixed, don't know whats wrong with it, no work was done and a huge bill presented. Talking to the girl that answers the general phone line and reasoning with her would cause the bill to multiple, even though she is polite and was really apologetic - but the bottom line is almost no work was performed while expensive and the AC still does not work. My humble advise - find someone who is less busy and can care about getting the job done, instead of extracting money with minimum or no work but so many excuses and apologies.

i got a new washer and gas dryer then realized i needed all the water and gas pipes done. i called josh and his crew they came out on date on time as expected ready to work. very friendly and professional. i am how you can say a little ocd and i was amazed how centered and level everything was when i came out and i think my yard was cleaner than when they got there. i trust these guys to do all my plumbing work home and business  and know that it will be done up and above normal standards.

I live on the West Side of Santa Cruz and realized my expeller pump wasn't working late in the day on Monday.  This is connected to my main bathroom ... so being out of service was an issue.

I called, left a message and got a call back in 5 minutes (Yeah!).   He realized my predicament and scheduled me the next day.    He was exactly on time, fixed the problem quickly and price was exactly what was quoted (which I have come to find out was a lot lower than others).  

Henry and his partner were clearly qualified and licensed.  He had all the tools as well (he had to take apart a wood box around the unit).  I would recommend them without hesitation.

The charge for trouble shooting is too high especially when combined with the service call charge. The service itself was good.

These are my go-to plumbers.  I've used them many times over the years.  They accomplish their work professionally and charge fairly.  I highly recommend them!

We couldn't have been more happy with Vince and VIP plumbing. Vince was out on a Sunday within 2 hrs to fix the pilot light in our water heater. Although it wasn't an emergency per se we have a baby who is 5 months old and we really appreciated that he came. He quickly identified the problem and was able to replace the broken piece very quickly. He also advised us of potential futures issues. We highly recommend and will call VIP and Vince for any future issues.

Recommend by every local friend. They replaced the garbage disposal for us and explained my question related or unrelated patiently. Will use again definitely.

Awesome service! They were able to come out the next day. They gave us a time frame and called 30 minutes before their estimated arrival. Patrick arrived and had shoe protectors on ready to get the job done. We had a small leak on our master bathroom toilet. With the holidays, we just shut it off and then it sat for two months. So of course, our issue did not appear to be an issue when help finally arrived as the leaking could not be seen. Patrick went ahead and took everything apart to check and make sure there was no water damage underneath. He replaced the seal and put everything back together in a timely fashion. Highly recommend this company and love the fact we can support local businesses!
