able to come check out the problem. He recommended getting a new toilet instead of fixing it since it was 20 year old toilet. When I called him next time he came within the hour and installed the new toilet and made sure to check everything twice. Would highly recommend him for plumbing services.

Nick was so helpful! He's exactly the person to hire for a list of household issues, and if he can't do something himself he knows who to ask. He arrived exactly on time with his truck loaded up with everything who could need. I was able to run out and pick up some parts while he worked, and the whole process was very efficient. Johnny arrived within 20 minutes after I called to request an estimate.  We needed  a plumber to tap a gas line for our new dryer. His quote was below what another company gave us and he was able to do the job immediately.

Johnny took some measurements and went off to get the parts. Shortly after our new washer and gas dryer were installed, he even went out of his way to get the basin to drain faster.

Our house has a main line clogging problem. Andres responded to my Yelp message within minutes. Then came over just in a few hours. They have all the right tools, snake, camera etc. and removed the roots inside the pipe very quickly, so we can have a regular life right away. Over the weekend, he was able to sent 7 people over and replaced all the pipes with minimum damage to driveway and tiles, installed several clean out as well. The next day, 2 people came and put back the driveway tiles nicely. They all wear masks. His team is super efficient, considerate, thorough and delivers high quality work. The price is reasonable too. I feel very lucky to have Andres take care of our sewer clogging problem.

Asylbek gave me a very competitive rate and was able to squeeze me in with short notice due to urgency on my side. He was very diligent as the house is the brand new construction in Palo Alto and we were very sensitive to ensure minimal wall intrusion. He hanged two wall mounts inside and outside with new outlet in both locations. He also hanged about 8-9 various wall decors. Highly recommend.

This is a repeat of what I wrote on another occasion. We recently again had need of Art's capable hands for a home plumbing problem. Everything I wrote before applies, so I am gratefully resubmitting this review: I wouldn't hesitate for one minute to recommend Art Hansen for a plumbing job.  We are a senior couple who had put off some plumbing repairs in our 1924 Palo Alto home until we could ignore them no longer. Not knowing where to turn, I looked at the reference page of Yelp and I was convinced immediately that he was our guy. Art was everything a professional plumber should be and so much more. He's thoroughly professional, responsive, diligent and highly skilled. Understanding what some of our plumbing issues were (past tense) with our vintage fixtures, he went about remedying our long standing problems. He took pains to explain the nature of the problems and the possible remedies. Had I known how  little effort it should take to flush a toilet or to stop a faucet from dripping, we would have called him long ago. I want to add that our problems were not trivial. This was not a question of a washer here or there. Parts (difficult to find) were required, and Art had to return several times to complete the job. He did all work neatly and cheerfully, actually working with my husband to find sources for the parts. We recommend him with confidence.

The staff at After Hour Plumbing is amazing. We've called them a few times for various leaking issues and they've always been so professional, reliable,  and able to fix the problems. Cedric and the staff are also very friendly. They are our go-to plumbing company!

We have used PA Plumbing in the past and this time Mo was amazing and most efficient again.

Josh Fisher just finished Plumbing my house. His price was good, he was extremely respectful and professional, he and his guys were fantastic start to finish. I am a contractor, and I base my business around quality work and service. I am not easily impressed with other contractors. Josh communicated every detail of what he was going to do and how he was going to do it, and delivered everything exactly the way he said he would. I looked over the entire job start to finish. No one could have possibly done a better job. I now have a plumber to recommend to my customers that I can count on to keep up my good name. Excellent work Josh and crew!

Our water heater suddenly stopped working the pilot light went out and we were unable to relight it. It was a 12 year old tank. I put the job out on Yelp and Enrique responded very quickly. His reviews were good and his quote was very reasonable against others. He fit us in the next day, he arrived on time (wearing a mask) and got the job done smoothly and efficiently. He fitted a top of the line water heater. While he was here he helped us out with another small plumbing job which was very much appreciated. I will definitely call upon Enrique with any future plumbing needs.

I can't say enough for the technician Cesar Ortega, who came out and replaced our air conditioner.  Cesar was professional, extremely friendly and extremely trust worthy.  I highly recommend Pacific Coast Home Services, and if you can definitely request a Cesar!

Wade's son Nick came over to install my Grundfos Comfort Series recirculating hot water pump.  He was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and was able to complete the job in 1 hour.  Most importantly, he did not overcharge me like most plumbers that I have dealt with in the past!  I will for sure call Nick again to work on any plumbing issues I have in the future!

One December Monday night, I was drawing a bath for my two young children when I realized my water heater had gone out. After taking a quick look myself, I realized I was no match for a tankless water heater and began my search for a repairman early the next morning. After calling 6 other companies, I reached Vince with VIP Plumbing and he committed to coming out that afternoon. His assessment was free and it was determined the water heater needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate to replace it and said he could possibly do the job the following day. He wanted to help me as soon as possible, especially since he knew we had small children in the home. I did some research that night and decided this was the right choice for us, so the following morning,Wednesday, I let him know that I wanted to move ahead with the project. He estimated he could be over that afternoon to install the new water heater. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to come until after 5PM and although I appreciate his willingness to start the project so late in the day, we agreed to try again the following day, Thursday. He was able to come over earlier in the day on Thursday and worked tirelessly to replace the water heater. It was a 7 hour project but he powered through and we had hot water that night. He even suggested a solution to help get hot water faster in the house. And what I thought was really great was that he noticed my exterior faucet was leaking and replaced it without me asking or extra charge. Vince was a really friendly guy and I would definitely hire him again.

Guy Plumbing replaced our toilet and kitchen faucet this morning. The plumber came 10 minutes early (!) and was extremely courteous, efficient, friendly and helpful. In the run-up to making the appointment, the office and showroom staff were equally helpful and cooperative.  They even had the products I wanted in stock.

After calling other highly rated Yelp plumbers on Sunday (who did not respond), I called 24/7 Rooter.  I talked to someone immediately who said a technician would call back.  5 minutes later I received a call and was told the technician would be at my place in 1 hour, and I received an estimate over the phone.  They arrived within 1 hour and did an excellent job below the quoted estimate.  These guys are my new plumbers hereafter!

Great company! While they weren't able to solve our tricky problem, they were very responsive and waived our service fee due to this issue. Would recommend them!

Benjamin Franklin plumbing sold us an on-demand water heater 7 years ago which recently started leaking.  We contacted that manufacturer of the unit who provided us with the new heat exchanger which was covered under warranty.  Unfortunately, labor was not included in the warranty coverage so we contacted BF plumbing to have a service person come to our house and replace the part.  Here is a summary of our experience:

I asked the person on the telephone if BF has experience servicing this make/model water heater and she responded, Oh yes absolutely!.  I then made an appointment to have a service person come out two working days later, between the hours of 8 AM - noon.

On the day of the appointment, having taken a day off work, nobody had arrived by noon so I called them and the person I spoke to told me that they had a scheduling error.  So much for the company that advertises itself as The Punctual Plumber.  To their credit, they apologized and told me they would have a technician out by 2:00 PM and the technician arrived shortly before 2:00.  I thought that everything would be back on track, but this was when things got ugly....

The technician told me that the unit was installed incorrectly and offered to fix everything for me.  When I told him that the unit had been installed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, he told me that the company was under different ownership previously and that they were not responsible for what the company had done when it was under prior ownership.  Even if that was a true statement, I would think that a company with an ounce of integrity would stand behind an installation that has their name attached to it.  When I told him that I only wanted the leaking part fixed, he hum-hawed around, telling me how difficult it would be to repair, and then stated that he thinks someone back at the shop knows something about these units but that it is too difficult to fix while is it hanging on the wall and would need to be completely disconnected and taken back to the shop (not true according to the manufacturer of the unit).

He then told me he could get me hot water the same day be installing a new unit at a discounted price of FOUR-THOUSAND-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!  We paid 3,500 for the original unit which had included all of the conversion costs to switch to a tankless water heater.

I sent him away (thankfully he did not charge for the service visit...he was clearly embarrassed) and referring to the instructions that came with the replacement heat exchanger, successfully changed out the part myself, having had no prior experience, and without removing it from the wall, in about four hours simply by carefully following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the unit.

Pretty sad when a company misrepresents its experience, arrives late, does not stand behind its prior installation and tries to take advantage of the situation by selling us an even more expensive unit.  Also pretty sad that they are unable to service a unit that they sold us.  On the positive side though, if the dang thing ever leaks again, I will know how to fix it myself (it really wasn't that difficult).

I gave them one star only because zero stars is not an option.....
