Kevin is amazing! I had some plumbing issues, because the house is old and needs a lot of attention. He took the time to carefully explain everything to me, took pictures of the rusted pipes, and helped fix the plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom area. I found him to be very reliable and knowledgeable about his craft. I highly recommend reaching out to him! He also worked on several houses in our area that are being remodeled and was referred to me by my neighbor across the street.

had a clog issue in my bathroom with water backup. it was late evening and when I called gater rooter I got a quick response. they asked me some details on the call, explained what they need to do and the pricing upfront. then within 30 mins they came and resolved the issue by snaking it out. they also helped us understand the source of the clog and what steps we can take to address it long term with estimates. overall very professional and timely help! thank you!

Abdu is an amazingly skilled individual who I've been turning to for years. With every new house project that arises, he discusses the best course to take in order to make my dreams a reality. He recently came for 4 projects: painting crown moulding, re-grouting a bathtub, installing a pair of hand-carved doors onto an armoire, and mounting a hand-carved door frame onto an existing doorframe. Everything turned out beautiful, and we have Abdu to thank for it.

This guy is great!!!  I called Art Hansen early one Sunday morning in November, 2014, when my husband was away on business,  to ask if he could come to stop a wildly running toilet that could not be turned off at the wall.  I was more than pleased that Art answered the phone himself and agreed to come on the spur of the moment to help. He arrived promptly, quickly assessed the situation, and called the water company to turn the water off at the street, since it was not possible to turn it off otherwise.  He explained everything that he was doing that day and then the next day in great detail.   His charge for the 2-part/2-day work was very reasonable, and I was happy to pay it.  Art Hansen is a competent plumber and conducts himself in a very professional manner.  I will DEFINITELY call Art again, should dreaded plumbing issues arise.

I have found my plumber and I will never go back! I have tried many plumbers in Santa Cruz and never have I experienced such professional, kind, hard working, honest and skilled plumbers before. Their quote was plenty fair and the price even dropped as they did the work and discovered ways to make the job cheaper. They installed a new line from the meter to the first shut off, a big job, and they did it seamlessly. When they called me out to take a look the job was super clean, as if there had never been a leak. They even patched the concrete and raked the landscape so that it looked nice and tidy when they left. Our last plumbers left a mess in our kitchen that we had to clean up so this was a pleasant surprise. I give Garcia Plumbing my highest recommendation.

AC stopped working and a family member recommended Pacific Coast Electricians. The next day my AC was back up and running. I will definitely call them for any future problems or upgrades in my home. We shopped extensively for a water heater and found lots of options, including tankless and ultra high efficiency heaters.  Several plumbing companies came out to make an estimate.  Of all the companies, Guy Plumbing was the very best.  Alan Guy pointed out a couple of ways to improve the installation (compared to others), and his guys were quick, expert, and effective.  His pricing was ultimately a bit higher than others who gave fixed bids, but the extra work they did to improve the installation was well worth a few extra dollars.  If others had done the extra work, they would have charged even more.  And, if they are not well suited to do the job you want, they will gladly refer to others.  I trust Guy Plumbing a lot.

Friendly, fast and great service! Our technician was great. However, the service charge to replace a kitchen faucet and cover the charge of the new part was $650, which was surprisingly expensive. We just went with a drain cleaning service for the other sink that needed repair, which was more reasonable  at $205.

I can't begin to tell you how happy I was this morning when this Company squeezed me in
in a very busy schedule since we're in the middle of a long, hot heat wave.  My air conditioner went out suddenly, early afternoon yesterday. The company who put in my system, Valley Heating & Cooling could not get me in for three weeks, July 13!  I never thought to get somebody local so I started making calls via Yelp. I made some 10 calls, most companies had the same 2-3 wk wait while anothers didn't answer their phone at all.
The HVAC person they hired recently is Gary, he was SO professional, polite, clean and
honest.  He was in and out of my job in about one hour.  The bill seemed very reasonable and fair.

I have use this company many times for plumbing services within the last 15 years, but I did not know they did heating and air-conditioning and it did not coming up in Yelp under A/C and heating.  
I was referred to them by another company that did not do residential work named Duerr A/C and Heating. The gentleman there was very helpful, he told me how much he liked Dave Thomas, that he was always a fair, nice business owner.  Thank goodness I called Duerr's to get Dave's name and number!

Routine service, annual check with these guys who are contractor for one hour service plan. The plan charge is 20 per month. Using a power wrench, the one guy stripped the top cathode bolt and kept going until every speck of rust in the heater was let loose and completely clogged hot water system for house and required immediate replacement of water heater. Expecting two people the next day but only one shows up? Took entire day and 3400 dollars. I was suckered and don't want the same thing to happen to another senior.
