This review took far too long to post and I apologize. Anyway I just wanted to give a glowing review to this most excellent handyman who went above and beyond during his visit.

Because I have bad arthritis and my wife has MS we can't really do all of the tasks around the house we used to. So every now and then we have to hire a handyman which hasn't always had the greatest result. However this time we were very pleased with the service and anticipate calling him back again soon to a couple more things.

We specifically called in order to get help in installing a wall TV mount and also mounting a wall lamp. We also needed to tall bookcases earthquake strapped 2 wall studs. The main issue with our apartment being that the studs are very strange and not always where you would expect them to be based on any reasonable kind of construction normals. He was able to find studs for our mounts and get everything installed in very short order as well as attaching the earthquake straps to our bookshelves. While he was doing this he actually went to the trouble of showing how I could figure out using a tape measure in particular measurements to find the studs in our weirdo apartment.

So we would like to give a great recommendation to this most excellent jack of all trades. His costs were also very reasonable and actually less than the last handyperson we used who was a complete disaster. They were up in Seattle though so you don't have to worry about them.

Our upstairs jacuzzi/tub was leaking by one of the jets, leaking water which was dripping through the downstairs smoke detector.  We've had some bad experiences with other contractors, so my wife's coworker suggested Simply Green, and we took a chance.  John arrived to give us an estimate, then did an A1 repair job a few days later (he had to order the right parts, which took time).  He did have to cut into the downstairs ceiling to access the leak, however John went above and beyond and replaced 2 jets and the drain pipe all for the original estimate, which was very fair in our minds.  His nephew, Adolfo (not a Simply Green employee, but hey...I'm good with family connections), patched up the ceiling and also did a great job - the original cut is unnoticeable.  A month later, we decided to purchase a whole-house water filtration system from Pure Water Essentials, but we needed a competent plumber to install the entire system.  This was going to be a work intensive job and we wanted to have the water heater completely replaced, as well (it was 13 yrs old).  Given the high quality results and professionalism with the jacuzzi, we specifically asked for John to do our whole house install.  John & Gary came out to assess my piping and come up with the best solution for our home.  No thanks to the original homebuilder, Lennar, the piping ran diagonally through the home along the 1st and 2nd floor.  We ended up cutting the main water supply at the front of the house, ran new copper pipe along the side toward the rear of the house, drilled a hole into the garage, then snake the new pipe into the water filtration system, which then flowed into the newly installed water heater (provided by Simply Green).  120' of copper pipe, new 75-gal water heater, programming of the 3 control valves, etc.  They did an outstanding job - and even painted the outside portion of the exposed copper pipe to match the house (thanks, Joshua) - I bought the paint, of course.  It took 3 days, and yes, it was very expensive (well within our anticipated target price range), but well worth it because we wanted a quality job by a highly competent plumbing service - thank you, Simply Green.  Also, Jessica - you're WAY too positive on the phone!  Keep it up!  Simply Green is our go to company for any and all (future) plumbing issues.

It was an emergency! My neighbor's waste water was being back-flowed into my kitchen and it was flooding!! We turned off all the water in the condo building, everyone had no water, I called a dozen plumbing places and they were all booked and everyone could not come out until the next afternoon!!  I went down the list, called Kevin, he came out 30 mins later, unclogged, talked to my neighbors, explained everything, clean up my kitchen, and gave me a very reasonable price!!  I can't believe I found him, thank you Kevin!!

AH-MAZING! Called yesterday. They showed up today exactly when they said they would. The plumber was a happy, polite, pleasant and smart man named Tung. He was delightful, efficient, patient with my questions. Love these people! Under our sink we had puddles of water. We thought the dishwasher was causing leaks but Tung realized it was the disposal.

He got everything fixed quickly and with a great sense of humor and smile. Hard working and fantastic. So thankful for their prompt response and excellent and professional service. Bless you people! One problem solved and that is a relief for me.

15 years ago I called Reed Plumbing randomly to be part of a large remodel we did.

David Reed showed up, introduced himself, shook my hand and told me we would never need to call another plumber. He was right. We used Reed Plumbing on many occasions over the years. Responsive, professional and fair are all accurate descriptions.

More importantly we need to add trustworthy. Marco Vargas handled all our service needs.  He is the only contractor we ever worked with that had full access to our home when we were not home. He is the best of the best.

Our toilets were overflowing Wednesday night, I reached out for quotes through yelp.  Gator Rooter was one of the first to respond on yelp and call me Thursday morning. Nestor came 20-30ish mins after calling me. He used the camera which he quoted 250 to see what the root of the problem was.  He saw toilet paper waded up like paste and then went out to check the pipes under our home. After inspecting the pipes he showed us pictures of corrosion of the steel pipes and leakage. He suggested we repipe to fix the the leakages and pluming all together. He quoted us a little over 6k and we all agreed on 6K. Nestor went for parts and started before his team of two (who looked really young though - I am no ageist but hope they were part of Gator Rooter as they were not in uniform as Nestor was which is bit of concern). My husband had though he had asked him the pipes are going to be replaced by the same style pipes which were steel but he ended up saying no - maybe miscommunication in the original conversation. They were replaced with plastic pipes which he reassured us are best and being used everywhere and should last more than 20-30 years (we really hope this is true as we are no experts). When they were down there fixing they noticed another part that for the toilets (toilet connection and it was rusty and old) that were a issue and suggested we replaced he confirmed he could do it for a additional 600, he did both toilets. All in all Nestor was profession, showed us pictures, kept us informed, worked diligently and checked every toilet, sinks and showers to ensure everything was working great before leaving. He confirmed he could get the job done by 6 or 7pm, he was almost exact he was done and left around 6:22ish (very impressed)! Nestor gave us his personal card should we need anything additional in the future, which we certainly will. I would recommend Gator /Nestor to my family and friends!! Thanks Nestor and Gator team!!

Asylbek gave me a very competitive rate and was able to squeeze me in with short notice due to urgency on my side. He was very diligent as the house is the brand new construction in Palo Alto and we were very sensitive to ensure minimal wall intrusion. He hanged two wall mounts inside and outside with new outlet in both locations. He also hanged about 8-9 various wall decors. Highly recommend.

I contacted After Hour Plumbing to clear an emergency main line sewer block over a weekend, after the failure of two in-network home warranty providers to respond.  Only after these two fails and a 1-1/2 day delay, did the home warranty company authorize me to call an out-of-network provider to do the work.  I picked After Hour because of all the positive reviews, particularly the ones praising their responsiveness and quick service.  I was easily able to contact Cedric directly and he got my job scheduled without delay.  He arrived earlier than I expected but after opening the sewer cleanup cap, discovered another warning cap that said, no cable - the lateral to our house had a liner installed that could not be snaked and needed to be hydrojetted at much higher cost than what the warranty company preauthorized (preemptive tip to other homeowners - you probably want open your cleanup cap to check this out before you call for service).  I'll summarize the 2-1/2 hour ordeal with the home warranty company by simply saying that Cedric's help was critical to make them understand the situation and get the authorization for the higher cost procedure.  I can't thank Cedric and his company enough for the above and beyond service provided.  If you are wondering if all the other 5-star reviews are true, I can tell you from first hand experience that they are!

i got a new washer and gas dryer then realized i needed all the water and gas pipes done. i called josh and his crew they came out on date on time as expected ready to work. very friendly and professional. i am how you can say a little ocd and i was amazed how centered and level everything was when i came out and i think my yard was cleaner than when they got there. i trust these guys to do all my plumbing work home and business  and know that it will be done up and above normal standards.

Richard came to my house to help me see how to best charge my new electrical vehicle. He gave me very practical advice that potentially saves me hundreds and thousands of dollars. Instead of suggesting doing a rewiring of things, he recommended an extension cable could do the trick. That's a huge time and money saver. Highly recommend Richard.

These guys are great.  They service the rental I live in, and I'm glad my landlord uses them for heating and plumbing.  Quick service, great repairs and good attitudes along the way.  Nice!

Other companies rescheduled or gave shorty service, trying to move me to a very expensive option.  I called 24-7 on a Saturday evening; arrived within an hour.  Service on my clogged lateral line was both fast and efficient, snaking again after the first clog was cleared, making certain any additional blockages were gone; and, they'll back up the repair for sixty days.  Not the cheapest; just the best!

Fantastic same day service on a weekend! I live in Morgan Hill and I called about an issue within my toilet tank and a back up. In under two hours I had someone out to my home and the repair complete. Beyond satisfied, thank you Thomas Plumbing!

Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday and they canceled my appointment that morning with no alternatives but to wait a few days.   I don't know why I decided to try this company but I thought why not, my mistake.  I decided to contact Mr. Rooter who I had used in the past and they came out that day and completed the job quickly.  I will never call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again.
