Nicholas was so kind and helpful from our very first conversation.  He helped us troubleshoot our kitchen light problem before he came so we could save money by buying a part rather than replacing our whole light fixture.  He was very thorough and professional, and ended up helping us with several small needs around the house.  We won't hesitate to call him back next time we need help.

Russell did our copper repipe and replaced our water heater when we moved in 8 years ago. Stand up guy and one hell of a good plumber. About six months ago, we called Simply Green for other plumbing related needs. We didn't Russell, and we weren't thrilled with the plumber we had. HOWEVER, upon speaking to Russell he understood he situation and did right by us, once again proving he is a stand up guy and businessman. I recommend Simply Green for all your plumbing needs and hopefully if you are lucky you can still get Russell for big jobs!

KVN Plumbing did a good job helping me replace my tub spout. Kevin responded to me within hours on a Sunday and serviced my tub spout the next day. He was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the process. I would work with KVN Plumbing again

Citywide told me 11-3 and was here at 11:15 and out in half an hour. We had a leaky sink someone had already fixed [don't have your handyman do anything it doesn't work y'all] and immediately diagnosed and fixed it with a part in his truck for $325.

Best yet, he's super honest. He tried to help me fix the sink by phone when I called him for free before he came over and charged me. Really lovely dude!

Marco did a great job installing three faucets and sink.  I noticed a few small leaks after they left; Marco came back and fixed them promptly.

Gator Rooter was quick to reply.  Both of my bathrooms were fully backed up and they addressed the issue the following day for a very fair price.  

They identified the why my sewage drain line was backing up and showed me with a live camera feed.  

They then were able to provide a long term fix (a new sewage line replacement), which also came in for a fair price.  

I am completely satisfied with every aspect of their work.

I needed help to assemble a Lifetime 54 portable basketball hoop that I purchased from Amazon. Reading online howto's about the installation seemed time consuming and difficult. I messaged a few handymans on Yelp but decided to go with Tegene Handyman services due to fast responses, reviews and a reasonable price. Boy.. was I lucky to find someone like Abdu who helped with this. It took a few hours as expected and he was on time, professional and friendly. The hoop came out perfect and my son loves it! I will definitely reach out again to these guys for future projects.

My dishwasher was getting clogged, and I called to schedule an appointment. Over the phone, he gave me a quick thing I could check on my own at home (pipe to sink clogging), which did the trick. Really appreciated him being focused on solving the problem in the quickest way possible, rather than coming by for an appointment (even though that would have made him money). Thanks!

i got a new washer and gas dryer then realized i needed all the water and gas pipes done. i called josh and his crew they came out on date on time as expected ready to work. very friendly and professional. i am how you can say a little ocd and i was amazed how centered and level everything was when i came out and i think my yard was cleaner than when they got there. i trust these guys to do all my plumbing work home and business  and know that it will be done up and above normal standards.

The team came to install a Tesla Wall Connector and did a great job. My particular installation had some limitations that were overcome beautifully. Very patient throughout the process. Great for a variety of needs - heating, electrical, plumbing... Pricey but worth the investment. We've been using them for two years for our needs and wouldn't call anyone else in South Bay. When dealing with our water heater, TJ was the best.

Overall a very positive experience.

I've had the tankless since we moved into the house back in 2007 and have been poor at doing regular maintenance myself. Vince came out and was fantastic at explaining the problem, fixing it and what I need to do going forward. Very nice guy, easy to talk with and pricing was fair (better than others I had contacted, some were not helpful at all). Also fast+responsive to get it fixed ASAP.

Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, trustworthy... and you get free pencils when they walk through the door.  I have used them numerous times - highly recommend!

During a recent heavy rain storm, one of my terrace roof drains backed-up.  The terrace is above the residential unit below mine.  
I grabbed my phone and scanned Yelp to find an emergency service provider.  I found 24/7; called the number; dispatcher answered within 30-seconds.  My request was processed quickly and efficiently; and I was told a technician would be dispatched immediately.
Chris H arrived within 40-minutes; assessed conditions; fetched the necessary equipment from his truck; and got to work.
Within 30-minutes Chris had cleared the drain and the water flowed down the pipe.
Chris H was polite courteous and respectful of my home, which is a difficult task when having to carry cumbersome and wet dirty equipment through a residence.
I could not be more impressed with the service I received.

I was so desperate for a water heater after ours started leaking all over our garage floor. They installed a new water heater the next day-wow. So thankful that I found such a nice family owned company.

Benjamin Franklin plumbing sold us an on-demand water heater 7 years ago which recently started leaking.  We contacted that manufacturer of the unit who provided us with the new heat exchanger which was covered under warranty.  Unfortunately, labor was not included in the warranty coverage so we contacted BF plumbing to have a service person come to our house and replace the part.  Here is a summary of our experience:

I asked the person on the telephone if BF has experience servicing this make/model water heater and she responded, Oh yes absolutely!.  I then made an appointment to have a service person come out two working days later, between the hours of 8 AM - noon.

On the day of the appointment, having taken a day off work, nobody had arrived by noon so I called them and the person I spoke to told me that they had a scheduling error.  So much for the company that advertises itself as The Punctual Plumber.  To their credit, they apologized and told me they would have a technician out by 2:00 PM and the technician arrived shortly before 2:00.  I thought that everything would be back on track, but this was when things got ugly....

The technician told me that the unit was installed incorrectly and offered to fix everything for me.  When I told him that the unit had been installed by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, he told me that the company was under different ownership previously and that they were not responsible for what the company had done when it was under prior ownership.  Even if that was a true statement, I would think that a company with an ounce of integrity would stand behind an installation that has their name attached to it.  When I told him that I only wanted the leaking part fixed, he hum-hawed around, telling me how difficult it would be to repair, and then stated that he thinks someone back at the shop knows something about these units but that it is too difficult to fix while is it hanging on the wall and would need to be completely disconnected and taken back to the shop (not true according to the manufacturer of the unit).

He then told me he could get me hot water the same day be installing a new unit at a discounted price of FOUR-THOUSAND-FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!!  We paid 3,500 for the original unit which had included all of the conversion costs to switch to a tankless water heater.

I sent him away (thankfully he did not charge for the service visit...he was clearly embarrassed) and referring to the instructions that came with the replacement heat exchanger, successfully changed out the part myself, having had no prior experience, and without removing it from the wall, in about four hours simply by carefully following the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the unit.

Pretty sad when a company misrepresents its experience, arrives late, does not stand behind its prior installation and tries to take advantage of the situation by selling us an even more expensive unit.  Also pretty sad that they are unable to service a unit that they sold us.  On the positive side though, if the dang thing ever leaks again, I will know how to fix it myself (it really wasn't that difficult).

I gave them one star only because zero stars is not an option.....
