I definitely recommend the Ye Olde Handyman. He has a lot of knowledge about so many things when it come to the repairs you need. I first used Ye Olde Handyman to install electrical for my new hot tub. Ye Olde Handyman has also taken care of the repairs of rotted roof along with the removal of the chimney. Now that the roof is patched any chimney gone time to have him tear out the fire place and patch the floor.

Had a kitchen drain leak at a juncture of a slab floor in a finished room just below the kitchen. After cutting and jack hammering into the floor to replace the buried elbow, we found the whole cast iron drain in the concrete rotting out. I felt a slow shipwreck on the way. Replacing the pipe meant cutting the slab floor across the room under a wall and into the tiled bathroom. Fortunately they figured a way to reroute the drain outside to a cleanout pipe not too far away. Had the kitchen sink up and running in less than two days, versus who knows how long and how much!

The crews were very efficient and neat. They showed up as promised, or sooner, to perform the various cutting, trenching and plumbing tasks. They kept the cutting dust to a minimum and cleaned up well afterward.

Maybe not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

It was an emergency! My neighbor's waste water was being back-flowed into my kitchen and it was flooding!! We turned off all the water in the condo building, everyone had no water, I called a dozen plumbing places and they were all booked and everyone could not come out until the next afternoon!!  I went down the list, called Kevin, he came out 30 mins later, unclogged, talked to my neighbors, explained everything, clean up my kitchen, and gave me a very reasonable price!!  I can't believe I found him, thank you Kevin!!

Johnny was very professional, responsive, efficient and friendly.  His schedule was flexible to work around my busy day.  He was able to resolve a nasty clog in my spider-web pipping situation in a short period of time.  What's grateful is he would minimize/prevent any mess within that area and would clean up afterwards (if any) .  His recommendations to prevent any future pipping issues was much appreciated.

Really great experience.  Smooth and easy process, very responsive (called 4p, done next day), very friendly, called with updates about when they would arrive.  Friendly.  Wore masks.  Fast, efficient and professional service.  I used them for a water heater replacement.  Extremely good price on the service, and they took care of the warranty claim on my original one.  Will absolutely call them the next time I have plumbing needs.

Fast, responsive, and fair. Robert was knowledgeable and friendly. He was also incredibly patient with my slow movements due to being disabled. He even was respectful of my home and removed his shoes without me asking.

The only reason I gave him 1 star is because I cant give him a zero. Asyl is big big liar and cheater who was never honest with us even a single day. He cheated us with 6500$. I need to give the complete details of what happened to us in the 3 weeks of Nov to believe me. I have the messages/conversations as a proof for all the below.

1) Oct 19 - I met him to get an estimate for a complete kitchen and floor remodel for our newly bought house. I told him the house should be ready by Nov 19 for us to move in on Nov 20.

2) Oct 24 - I confirmed to him that I will give him the job. He was not the cheapest but I trusted him. He told me the job can be done in 13-17 days.

3) Oct 29 and Oct 30 - Two college kids came home and started the demo.

4) Nov 03 to Nov 14 -   No one came half the days and on remaining days 1 or 2 college kids will come to do the flooring. I kept asking Asyl about the delay and he kept promising me that he will complete the job by Nov 19 as he will put 4 people during the last week which never happenned.

5) Nov 15 - Only one person came for job. Only half the flooring was done and no kitchen work. Me and my wife asked about this but he still lied to us that kitchen installation is only 3 hrs job and he can do it easily before 19th.

6) Nov 17 - 10pm in the night he moved the first cabinet from garage to the kitchen. He called me and asked me to come to the house and says that the drain system is not good and so he needs to break two cabinets and make big holes for the drain pipe in the cabinets. My wife got so upset and couldn't control her tears for the way he lied to us. After going back and forth for long, at 1.30am in the night we decided to replace him with someone else for kitchen and asked him to at least complete the flooring.

7) Nov 18 - We couldn't sleep the whole night and next day morning I called 2 other contractors to come on the same day for kitchen estimate. My neighbor who had good experience in remodeling also came. All three of them told us that it's a sloppy, bad job done for flooring. Everything was disconnected, no planning, unnecessary cuts and so the flooring should be redone completely. We were heartbroken to hear that. Asyl took 3 weeks only for half the house flooring and that too a bad job.
Asyl came later that day. For any questions we ask him abt flooring he said he know about it already and planning to change it. We got so upset and asked him to leave the house immediately. We never wanted to see him again.

Because of all this confusion, we had to cancel the function/party. Our new house happiness was ruined because of him.
So please don't choose him for any job just because of way he lies to everyone with no care for their feelings. He took 6500$ from us and just did the demo. He cheated us on the money and both our planning, happiness got completely ruined because of him.

Art's the best. I was in panic mode when my six-year old water heater started leaking water. I did a quick google search, only to find an eHow article describing the steps to DIY-ing. I read  the word solder and got the hell out of there. I'm not what you (or anyone else) would call a 'handyman', so I went down the Yelp list of plumbers, only to find the water heating biz is a task many don't seem too specialized in.

Art of AG Plumbing obliged and  came to inspect and diagnose. He returned next day with the appropriate parts. The total procedure took less than an hour. He was extremely professional and thorough and also took a quick look at my uncooperative kitchen faucet (side problem). Art even followed up with a courtesy call to see if things were working right (which they were) so I would definitely do business with again!

My first thought when speaking with Cedric on the phone was, This young man was raised well.  He and his team were really wonderful.  He made 2 trips to my home, which was 20 miles from his business, for a broken water heater.  Was only charged for one trip.  Came back the same day to install new water heater.  I could tell by his work that he really knows his plumbing.  I liked him right away.  Big smile.  The ladies in the office were also considerate and gave me time to plan my payment of the bill.  What a relief to meet an honest plumber who cares.  I have him on speed dial.  Thanks, Cedric.

I called Henry's Plumbing for the first time since my usual plumber didn't seem available. I had a toilet leak problem. They came to my house in a few hours after I called and fixed the problem in 15 minutes! The price was reasonable and I was so relieved. I would highly recommend Henry's Plumbing.

Carlos was very thorough and professional.   He was able to troubleshoot old wiring in my home.  He did a great job rewiring these connections.  I really appreciated his experience and help.

Our utility sink in the garage was draining slowly - it took 20 minutes to drain 1 inch of water. The laundry machine outflows into this utility sink, so I couldn't do laundry. Important but not urgent.

I texted the situation to a few nearby vendors in the evening, and Eldridge & sons was the only one to respond on the morning. Even better, they amazingly had availability that day since it's between Xmas and New Years.

Dave was prepared with the roto rooter machine which scraped the inside of the drain and the cable went in 60 ft. He replaced the slip nut and washer connecting to the galvanized pipe. Good thing it achieved the same results and didn't need to try to open the cast iron clean out right underneath it.

Interesting to know they also service a local grocery chain in the Bay Area, and also a fast food chain!

Definitely will call them first next time I need plumbing service!

One of our sprinkler pipe burst during labor day weekend and Vince is the only plumber that willing to come and fix it at reasonable price.  Vince is very knowledgeable and really great on what he is doing.  I ended up called him again to install my reverse osmosis and replace some of or old pipe. Overall i have great experience with him.

We shopped extensively for a water heater and found lots of options, including tankless and ultra high efficiency heaters.  Several plumbing companies came out to make an estimate.  Of all the companies, Guy Plumbing was the very best.  Alan Guy pointed out a couple of ways to improve the installation (compared to others), and his guys were quick, expert, and effective.  His pricing was ultimately a bit higher than others who gave fixed bids, but the extra work they did to improve the installation was well worth a few extra dollars.  If others had done the extra work, they would have charged even more.  And, if they are not well suited to do the job you want, they will gladly refer to others.  I trust Guy Plumbing a lot.

Last night, with the first big rain of the season, all hell broke loose up our kitchen sink.
24/7 Rooter and Plumbing came to our rescue as DOUG! When I called I was greeted by a very professional & organized woman who was able to get all the info out of me she needed to get us help(not an easy task since we were bailing & dumping water).

We live in an 1880's vintage house with pipes to go along. Three hours later our drain was running clear-Doug never gave up, not rain, not mud, not the dark in an unlit, leaf slicked backyard could stop him!

Awesome service! They were able to come out the next day. They gave us a time frame and called 30 minutes before their estimated arrival. Patrick arrived and had shoe protectors on ready to get the job done. We had a small leak on our master bathroom toilet. With the holidays, we just shut it off and then it sat for two months. So of course, our issue did not appear to be an issue when help finally arrived as the leaking could not be seen. Patrick went ahead and took everything apart to check and make sure there was no water damage underneath. He replaced the seal and put everything back together in a timely fashion. Highly recommend this company and love the fact we can support local businesses!

One word for them - Terrible. I called them a day ahead to setup an appointment for my kitchen sink faucet.. They gave me 3 hour window from 2-5PM the next day. Right then I was impressed at first at how prompt they were.

Then the next day I took my afternoon off from work from 2-5PM and came home to wait for them to show up. In the middle of this timing window provided by them, their office calls me up saying that they can't send anyone over for the next 2 days because some of their guys didn't show up.

What I'm disgusted about is not even that they could not send someone over for an appointment they agreed on, but that they waited till during the timing window, wasted my day and then bailed on me.

I would give them 0 stars if i could.
