Best Electricians in San Jose, CA

Needed 4 Ceiling fans installed and mounted. Went through Yelp for contractors and finally picked Voltz Electric and called them yesterday. They sent in Ruben and Evan to do the job.

Based on the review here I was expecting to be very impressed with their work. But I wasn't prepared to be blown away. They took care of every single detail, including running new cables, drilling the ceiling for the mount.

After mounting one of the fans, they noticed the blades weren't aligned properly (manufacturer fault). So proceeded to open up the fan, fix the alignment on the blade mounting plate so that the fan wouldn't wobble..

After everything was done did a complete cleanup of the house. Highly recommend Ruben and Evan. Very efficient team, very professional and they absolutely do not  hesitate to go well beyond what's needed to do A+ job.

HIGHLY recommend! Jason and Danielle were both fantastic. From booking to confirming our appointment (and getting us in within the week) to Jason's promptness and support - we can't recommend them more.

We had a backyard GFCI that needed replacing...but in the few days before Jason was to come over, we found a couple other issues in our new (old) home.

When Jason arrived, he was friendly, helpful, and was able to instruct us on how to fix the remaining honey-dos as my wife wanted to learn. He gave us tips on how we could improve capability of our backyard outlets as well.

Price is right, service is 5 stars (I'd give more if I could), and I can't recommend them more. They're a small family business who truly cares about their clients. We will use them absolutely, moving forward.

The installers showed up right before the new year and accommodated a time and date since they were in the area. They installed a wall charger for my Tesla and wired my home to make it all work. They were prompt, showed up with masks on and a great attitude. You know they love what they do. Highly recommend.

Minh really helped me out with my project. I wanted to install track lighting in my small office to illuminate decorations on the walls. Minh answered the phone when I called. It was a Saturday morning. He sounded busy. But I did as he asked. I took photos of my office and texted him the photos, so that he can give me an estimate. I had no idea what the project would cost. I had little experience with hiring contractors. But Minh was willing to give me a reasonable quote. He was a polite, serious, and conscientious electrician. He treated me and his workers well. He was careful with his work and took extra time to make sure that everything was up to spec and working. He cleaned up after himself when done. It made me confident that he completed the project correctly and problems would not crop up later. I am happy I chose Minh over the other contractors. When I have other electrical projects, I will surely look for him again.

We would like to install 240V power outlet. We have been shopping for about 3 companies and Absolute Power gave us the most reasonable price. Seriously, you need to check with Absolute power as the price quote by the other two companies is almost 2x higher!
The method they use to pull the electric line to our garage is minimizing the damage that needs to cause in our house. Some electrician would need to make a big hole in our wall and drill here and there.
They get it done in half a day, faster than expected.
Our house crawl space is inside our baby's room, Mauricio and the worker did it quietly and carefully trying to minimize the noise of waking my baby up. Appreciate that so much!
We went shopping with them to purchase the material in home depot. Well, I was hoping to get more discount with their contractor ID (which they claimed that there will be a discount, however, there is no discount. At first I thought to give a 4.5 stars because of this but...seeing they helping us maintaining the cleanliness of our house and considerate enough to not waking up my baby, I will give 5 stars! Their action and attitude on carrying out the work are not what money can buy.

No one like Roger can help his customer even not make money!! My house has lost power partially in past few days. I have no idea what's going on and not able to get a good technician available to come right away. However, with Roger guidance over phone call, I am able to fix my power failure issue myself. If you have any issue like me next time, you should look for his help for sure.

If I could give Duke 6 stars I would! He did an excellent job on my projects. What I really liked about him from the beginning was that he wanted to give me what I wanted but also what I needed. Because really we are not electricians and don't know all that needs to be done. Also I really appreciated his reluctance to cut corners. He wanted to do a high quality job with the right materials for the job. This is because he takes a lot pride in his work and wants a good reputation for providing quality services. Duke and his staffer Kirk were thoughtful in offering suggestions on how to improve my project, not to raise the costs, but because they genuinely wanted to help. And they had some great recommendations! Furthermore I always felt comfortable having them at my home and never worried what they were doing. This is a rare thing nowadays and appreciate all that he did for me. I have no reservations in offering Duke my highest recommendation!

Henry is awesome! We had him re wire our house.  He installed ceiling lights outlets in the kitchen and a new electrical panel.  The ceiling lights were awesome because at the time we weren't going to install ceiling fans but later on we decided to.  Henry thought ahead and installed the correct mounts so we could do the fan ourselves.  He is very nice and very knowledgeable.  Highly recommend him!!

At about 6 pm yesterday our electric outlets and switches stopped working in part of my house. I contacted Adary Electric and they responded within an hour (and this was late in the day) and they scheduled one of their electricians to be here this morning. Super service!

I am very impressed with Jeff who came to solve our problem. He was great - he was very polite, he didn't waste any time and worked very fast, he checked absolutely everything, and through sheer persistence he found the problem (even though it required him to crawl into the attic at one point). I definitely recommend Adary Electric for any and all electrical needs.

I contacted Electrica for a quote to install a 240V power outlet so compare with a quote for another electrician. I was very impressed with their response time. They requested some extra information and provided me with a quote right away, without having to come and see my place. Note only was their quote lower than the first electrician I contacted, they were also available to do the work much sooner.

The day of the install, the electrician showed up on time and did solid work. Everything looks great and works as expected. They were also careful to match exactly the specification I needed for my appliance. They had also given me a estimated completion time and they completed the work within this timeframe.

I definitely recommend Electrica and would use again. Very professional and friendly.

Electric Heroes installed a line for my outdoor sauna. Before that, I had a bad experience with another company. Electric Heroes amazed me with their skill, timeliness, and reliability. They also charged exactly what they estimated, which was a real pleasure. Will use again.

I needed help installing nema 1450 for my ev. Dan arrived on time and did a quality installation in a timely fashion. He arrived on time and was very courteous. He had to visit my house twice due to some part ordering goof-up on my part but still took care of the job very well and within budget. Reach out to Dan for all electrical needs. He is really good.

These guys were great! Replaced a light fixture I didn't like with a new one. Good price and quick work, and the electricians were very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend!

Just called for emergency service and was told that Thursday (4 days from now) would be their first opening.  Not sure that Fast fits their business name anymore.

My father is an owner of a construction company and his employee have been booked and I had to install 16 recessed LED lights, upgrade an additional 6 plus convert light switches within the house.

David was vey professional and had a quote back to me within hours. Showed up on time and explained the process and even went material shopping with me. Him and his team did a great job and had the job completed within a day and a half. We are going to use him again for our bathroom re model!

Our kitchen GFCI outlets were not working. They traced the problem to loose fusebox connections and even fixed other loose connections. Very professional and quick on-time service.

Caio was responsive, fast, and competent. He charged a fair price to install a plug to charge my EV and was friendly enough to show me around my new house's panel and gave it a quick check up. Will certainly be using his services again.

Jack did the recessed lighting and various electrical work on our house. He was extremely responsive and responsible. Within a week of reaching out, he was able to coach me for a list of things to prepare for and come out with his crew on time in the morning to get the work done. He did a great job and went above and beyond, even helping install an outdoor power outlet receptacle when his crew took longer than expected. Jack responded instantly to any questions and gave us a competitive price. I can't think of any other electrician to come back to when I have any electrical work that needs to be done.

Carlos was awesome. Very responsive on both phone calls and texting. Provided reasonable estimate, did the job in the time he quoted. He and Mickey were professional. We had 4 rooms and a living space updated with recessed lighting and dimmable switches. They ensured there was proper dust management in all the rooms and covered all furniture. We're already planning to work with them again and hope others will use them too.

Mike and Anthony did an excellent job installing a new 200 amp CB panel on our Eichler home. The old one was an original, outdated and unsafe Zynsco panel which was also an eyesore on the back wall of our house.  Mike knew I didn't like the CB panel on the back wall so he created a small junction box at the location of the old CB panel and then placed the new 200 amp panel around the corner on the side of the house, and it looks SO much better. Mike is an electrician and doesn't do the finish work, so we hired a contractor to install new Eichler paneling and seal around the CB panel and they did an amazing job as well. Another great thing about Courtesy Electric is that Mike returns his calls and texts and clearly communicates his intentions and his schedule availability, so you are not left hanging or waiting like with some other contractors. Mike coordinated everything with the city for permits and inspections and we are very happy with how smoothly it all went.  Great job by Courtesy Electric!
