Best Electricians in San Jose, CA

I went thru interviewing many electricians in the Bay Area and, out of 5, Matt was the most helpful. He provided the most information and was prompt with all my calls/emails. His service isn't the absolute cheapest. If you're looking for more a affordable route, there are a few guys out there but their communication and English isn't the best.

I'd recommend Matt and his team! I'm hoping to get my garage completely wired by his team. Good guys!

Jason was very knowledgeable and patiently explained our electrical issue. He really cares about his work and is very honest. He places costumer satisfaction, and quality of job ahead of profit. His prices are a lot more reasonable than other electricians. I highly recommend him and for sure use him again. Thank you Jason!

Extremely prompt on Yelp messages, I mostly communicated with Minh through Yelp and got an initial quote from him. Most businesses on Yelp were vague or didnt offer a quote at all. After explaining my set up, the quote needed to go up - (my condo set up is very difficult for most contractors).

I wanted a dedicated circuit in my 2 bathrooms so I could have a bidet in each. To come out and estimate the work was free, and he never over promised anything but said that he would try to make my setup work.  

On the day of the install, they inspected the wall spaces by going through the attic. One bathroom was relatively easy, the other one near the exterior wall had a lot of piping and a beam blocking the bottom area so the only location they could put it was in a higher up area above the toilet - it's not ideal but it is functional for what we needed. They also did a nice job with the circuit panel switch replacements and labeling.

From start to finish was about 6 hours (8am to 2pm). They were on time, courteous, and cleaned up after the work was done.

Minh is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a very honest guy. If anything comes up I will update, otherwise his service has been great!

I asked owner Roger to install a 240V outlet for the EV charger.  He is very responsive and quoted a very reasonable price, but after he saw the mess of a junction box in the house, suggested we add a sub panel for safety and to increase future expandable capacity.  The work was done in 3 hours and he and his crew were very professional.  The final price was in line with what I paid more than 10 years ago to upgrade the panel.  He is the guy to call for any of my future electrical work.

Duke Electric installed a new electric panel and mounted a TV over the fireplace in our home.  Duke was great at explaining the scope and different options for each project.  He was much more detailed in the plan than other electricians we received quotes from.  He quoted a competitive price for the work which included all of the work including patching the drywall and stucco.  Duke and his crew completed the projects in one day and did an excellent job.  We have textured dry wall and stucco and Duke's team did an amazing job of matching the existing texture.  Duke returned after the stucco and paint had dried to reinstall a rain gutter that had been removed for the project.  I highly recommend Duke Electric.

Henry and his crew are knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job for us during a recent  kitchen remodel. Prices are fair and they got the work done right away. Henry also makes good on his promises. Highly recommended.

Nick was great to work with. He was super patient answering all my silly questions on different types of Tesla chargers. he is honest, straight forward, and he know his stuff. The entire process was smooth. and the price was very fair as well! I highly recommend Nick and his team!

Butcher work. Look elsewhere. They've sent some two qualified kids who did so many things wrong I was stunned how sloppy the new subpanel turned out. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES all around. Didn't bother to install 15amp breakers, every breaker was 20amp even on 14gauge wires! Wires hanging and touching, and they left one 240v wire loose and not screwed to the breaker at all. this would cause a fire no doubt. Sharp ground wires pressing against neutrals. Panel labeling was a disaster! Later they sent a more senior technician to fix most things, he was great but it's still looking like a lazy hack job and I DO NOT recommend them.

Dan recently did some electrical repair work for us as we prepared to sell our home. He rates are reasonable and his work was excellent. Dan was on time and completed all of the work on schedule. I highly recommend Dan for any electrical work you need to have done.

Jim replaced hardwired smoke detectors for us. He kept us informed of his arrival time an was punctual. Jim completed the job quickly and without any problems. Would definitely hire him again.

Did not end up using due to available scheduling, but appreciate the super fast response to try and figure out the job scope and getting a quote back in a very timely manner.

This review is for a visit David and his son made to our house last year, and we were so pleased I told him I'd write a review...but I put it on the back burner and forgot about it.  So even though it's a bit late, I owe him this review.  David and his son came to our house last year when we lost power to several outlets in the house.  I knew it was a loose or shorted neutral, but I just couldn't find it.  With an old home, it's difficult to tell where the wiring is running.  However David and his son spend whatever time was needed and went through all my junction boxes until they found and fixed the problem.  In terms of how they carried themselves, they were both very respectful and genuinely caring.  I just can't say enough positive things about them.  I highly recommend them and will use them again for my future electrical needs.

Systematically isolated a problem that had confounded other electricians. It turns out the problem was from PG&E's transformer. It was $60 for the assessment, Which would've been way of had to be gone with their service, but we didn't need it. Super professional!!

Installed my Tesla Wall Connector. Excellent work. Responsive from the beginning quote thru post installation queries, professional and goes the extra mile.

Jack did an outstanding job fixing up some wiring in our backyard. He arrived on time and was very efficient. He explained to me what was wrong and most importantly fixed it! I would definitely use Jack again. He was very polite and got the job done quickly.

I needed to have a Sense home energy monitor installed. Carlos asked the right questions, gave me a quote, and then came by that evening to install it which he did quickly, while also giving us some tips about our panel. I would definitely use his services again!
