We moved to a new house recently and hired Voltz again to this time run some very complicated switch runs between the house & our detached garage as well as running cat 5 & coax cable for us. They also did some very long runs of new dedicated appliance circuits as well as a circuit for outdoors on a side of the house that had no outlet.
This was a big job and involved trenching up a slope, working under the house in crawl spaces and crawling up in a hot attic. They did a great job and in fact are a pleasure to work with.
We will continue to use Voltz whenever we have electrical needs - we only wish all contractors were this reliable, this good and this easy to work with.

Jason is amazing. He helped install a hardwire charger with me, doing it quickly and for a very fair price (other people were charging a lot more and up selling on random things). Afterwards, I thought I ran into an issue from the install but was actually due to my own negligence, Jason patiently walked me through the issue over the phone even though it was unrelated to the install! If you're looking for someone genuine and reliable, he's your guy.

I requested a quote for an EV charger install. Initially, I was contacted right away and supplied all the photos required. However, after more than a week, I got no response to my inquiries. So, I don't know what is going on.

Ming uses high quality components for the EV charging. We exchanged messages, asked questions and sent photos of the existing panels. We agreed on the start time and cost. He arrived on time to installed the wiring and Nema14-50 plug, the wall unit and its holster. Everything was done professionally and cleaned up the place before leaving. I have no problem to work with him again for other electrical works on the future.

Roger is a professional and licensed electrician with enthusiasm. He replaced all the old electrical wires in my house and installed recessed lights in all of my rooms. The work was completed nice and fast. I believe it takes many years of experience to perform such a great job. My place is in San Jose, so I believe his service covers the whole Bay area. If you have any electrical issue, I would sincerely recommend Roger to you.

Duke Electric is amazing! I highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for help with electrical work. He was on time, clear in his communication, delivered impeccable work with attention to detail and he and his team were professional and friendly.
We hired him to install new exterior lights for the garage and front porch. He was on time for the quote and helped me select the correct light for the garage to achieve a clean and seamless exterior look.
Day of install he and his team checked in multiple times throughout the process to ensure I was clear on everything being done, why, and to ensure I was happy with how everything was mounted and installed.
What I appreciated most was when I needed to make an edit, his team was adaptable and kind about it. Additionally, I appreciated the cleanliness of his team in how they swept up everything after the install and also wore booties when entering the interior of the house.

Excellent service, no games. Installed mechanical thermostats that I had trouble installing myself. Arrived on time, was polite, wore a mask, let me shadow him to learn, and got everything working right the first time.

Nick did an excellent job installing our Tesla Wall Connector. He was professional, gave several options, and was clear with any questions we had. Nick was very knowledgeable and even gave my 8 year old son a quick lesson in electrons!

Electric heroes was awesome to work with, they responded within an hour to schedule a virtual quote, scheduled the install of 3 bathroom fans I purchased at Lowes. Ramon showed up in time and completed the installation in a few hours cleaned up the immediate area and the entryway. He asked me to test everything to make sure I was happy with the install. Great service!

This company is great! I have used them for two projects - EV charge installation and repairing my refrigerator fuse. Dan was great both times the work turned out really well and he was reasonably priced. I will definitely continue to use him for any electrical issues.
San Jose, CA
Was very responsive and great customer service. Troubleshooted a residential wiring mystery and was able to find a solve for the problem. Pricing was reasonable and was able to fix the issue the same day. Will use again for future electrical jobs!

Thought this was a great company at first. But after i asked for a functioning RING doorbell.. well everything went down hill. Usually homes have one door bell not two. And asked David to come fix an unfinished project after i fixed the part that we clearly discussed he wasnt going to do which i agreed to. So i fixed that transformer but something still wasnt right. So i was assuming it was something on his end. All i wanted him to do was double check his work! So he wanted to charge me 200 for something that he left unfinished!! He speaks to his customers horribly! And got full payment the day the door bell didnt work! Having a business you are required to answer to your customers. I should figure out how to go the board and go to small claims to get my money back. The text messages say it all thanks david for your help!

Don't know what all the high ratings are about. After a good first visit and estimate, David was very unprofessional in handling the rest of the job, forgot the address so I had to text it to him twice, quoted a time to be here and after 40 minutes and my call to him, said he couldn't make it til later in the day. We'll find someone else.

This was a big, challenging job: Replacing our old central heating and AC system with a modern ductless mini-split solution. We went all-in with seven indoor units and three condensers! Aesthetics were super important - indoor units had to be positioned as discretely as possible. This made the job much more difficult but it was worth it. Our house now has a modern climate control system that is ultra-responsive, ultra-controllable and ultra-efficient.
(For those curious about mini-splits and why we chose to go with a 100% mini-split solution, I've added a few words at the end of this review.)
HVAC is not something you want to cut corners on. The quality of the installation can be just as important as the quality of the parts, so it pays to get it right. I had already enjoyed a great experience with Fuse before, and I was happy to discover they were Mitsubishi Diamond certified dealers. Mitsubishi are widely regarded as the top manufacturer of mini-splits. Diamond certification provided us reassurance that we were getting a great installation, complete with a 12 year parts/condenser warranty.
As expected, Fuse rose to the challenge. Our installer Slava and his colleagues Anton and Alex knocked it out of the park with impressive ingenuity, determination and professionalism. The job took three of them six days to complete. They worked tirelessly from 8.30am until 7pm. At the end of each day they diligently cleaned up after themselves with a brush and vacuum. Late one evening Slava even made a last minute visit to Home Depot and reconnected our gas water boiler's flue pipe so my family could have hot showers. He also returned on a Saturday night to check a teething issue with one of the condensers. My wife and I were super impressed by his dedication. (Also: Huge thanks to project manager Zack for tracking all the details as this complicated project evolved.)
The finished result exceeds even my high expectations.
Slava and his team found resourceful ways of concealing lines behind walls and in the gaps between floors. Considerable effort was spent installing condensate pipes for exporting moisture. This meant a lot of cutting and drilling. Usually, the simplest installation is on an exterior wall. We however were asking for four interior wall and two ceiling placements. Despite this being a lot more work I am very grateful the installers respected our wishes. As the home owner it makes a profound difference.
But why did we replace everything with mini-splits?
Our house was built in 1970. One of the first things we discovered was the woeful central heating and cooling system. It barely worked. We considered replacing the gas furnace with a modern variable speed one, replacing the ductwork and installing a new AC. However the remodelled upstairs area was beyond hope - the house had simply not been designed to circulate air up there.
Thankfully we now have technology that was simply not available in 1970: Ductless mini-splits.
Instead of relying on cumbersome ducts to blow air around the house, heat energy is efficiently transported via compact, flexible piping. These lines can be routed through the structure of the house much easier than ducting. Eliminating ducts also eliminates the need for cleaning - there is nowhere for dirt or bacteria to build up.
The temperature of each indoor unit can be controlled independently. You only need to heat or cool the areas you want, saving you money and helping the environment. It is also directly circulating and conditioning the air nearby, providing a very fast, responsive system.
Mini-splits are inherently modular - multiple indoor units can share a single condenser. Multiple condensers can also be installed if the layout of the house makes it difficult to run all the lines to a single outdoor unit.
Our plan over the next few years is to transition away from fossil fuels and make our house 100% electric with solar panels. Getting rid of our gas furnace and investing in all-electric mini-split technology is our first step down that road

I hired Caio to do a few jobs at my residence. He gave me a quote via FaceTime. He installed 2 outdoor cameras and 2 outlets in my master closet. Hes meticulous in getting the job done, makes sure the area worked on is clean after and makes sure you're happy with the work. I highly recommend! Thank you Caio.

I recently had Dang Electrical install some pot lights in my office and fix the garbage disposal in my kitchen. I was really impressed with Dang's professionalism and attention to detail. He arrived on time and completed the electrical work efficiently and at a fair price. Throughout the process, he kept everything clean and tidy. Thanks to Dang's expertise, the pot lights look great and the garbage disposal is running smoothly. If you need electrical work done, I would recommend considering Dang Electrical for his reliable service.

My room has power!
My room was out of power for I kid you not ... ONE WHOLE WEEK. The issue was weird. I was on my computer, ceiling fan on, lights off and nothing more. The power suddenly shut off and I hear a pop somewhere ... I check the breakers and one was tripped.
I thought, okay cool no worries. Flip it back and ohhh man! Nothing. Me and my dad try to diagnose the situation since my dad has some experience with electrical but this was beyond what experience he or I may have. This hurts all the more since I'm a college student with finals coming up ... yup, NEXT WEEK.
I send out quotes and Carlos from Velo Electric responds in under an hour with a reasonable and fair quote. I sent out 4 quotes this day and I've yet to get one back while others could not even provide a quote. I made an appointment with him and his communication is great, he lets me know if there may be any delays whatsoever so that someone could be present.
He fixed our issue on his first visit, but then we had another issue. The following day Carlos fit us into his busy work day just to diagnose and remedy the situation. Me and my family are very appreciative and thankful because 3 rooms were affected, not just mine. He figured out the problem and was in and out in under 2 hours. He brought another employee named Harley; both very hard workers!
Very laid back, professional and honest people. I will be going to Velo Electric should I or my family have any electrical issues. We've already recommended Velo Electric to my brother and his fiance in the event they experience electrical worries in their house. Thanks for all your hard work!

So glad I ended up selecting Mike as my electrician for this job and for any future electrical projects. I had multiple bids and although it wasn't the lowest, his knowledge and professionalism sealed the deal. We upgraded our electrical panel, added outdoor security lights and multiple outlets. The work was done on time and was done on the weekend so we could avoid not having power while we WFH. Communication was done a lot through email and he was always quick to respond. Definitely deserves more than five stars. If you are searching for an electrician, give him a call.
