Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA
My water heater broken and started leaking. I contact few contractors and asked for quotation. one was fully booked and cannot coming at the same day. One willing to do but don't want to do permit, even you pay him and he just don't want to do it.
He asked me sent the picture and gave me a quote. Fixed rate. I agreed. He showing up early and took me with him to Lowes to shop the materials we need for this project.
He is very nice and patient. answering any questions I have and explain why he want to this. like why some materials looks new but he don't want to re-use.
He finished the job at around 7pm and tell me this job required the permit. He told me I can go online to apply the permit, he is very confident everything is up to code.
I went online to apply the permit and schedule it. the inspector said he did a excellent job and pass the inspection without any problem.

I highly recommend All Pro Repipe for your repipe and plumbing work. I am doing some work in my kitchen and we found out that all the pipes under the house are rusted and ready to burst. Julio came and did the estimate. He was honest and very thoroughly with his evaluation. He found additional issues and gave us options. When he provides the estimate he stated that if they find any additional issues, they will cover the cost and the estimate was final. Julio stayed true to his words. We found additional things and his team took care of it. Also, in order to move my kitchen forward, Julio made sure he did the work during same week and in one day. It was a big job but they delivered - they worked late.
The quality of their work was great. All patching was done. They replaced my bathroom shower faucet, pipes, etc without touching one single tile.
My contractor saw their work in the kitchen pipes and say they did really good work. But what I appreciate most their thoroughness in their work and trust that I don't have to worry about my pipes anymore.

George is amazing! I was quoted an exorbitant fee by another plumbing company. Thank goodness I found George. He explained the problems and quoted me a reasonable price. He came on a Saturday and did quick an thorough work. I highly recommend George for any plumbing issues you might have.

Many thanks to Mike Pagsolingan for the tremendous job he did for me. Mike is friendly, courteous and efficient. I'm a disabled senior on oxygen support so replacing the broken and leaking disposal unit under my kitchen sink is crucial to my well being.

If you're wondering about all those 5-star reviews - could they be possibly true - they are. This is as good as it gets, believe me. Absolutely. If you get to work with Lee Kratzer, prepare to feel lucky. If I could give Lee ten stars, I would do so without hesitation. His services are superb, and somehow he manages to make you feel good in the process!
Pros:
- Highly skilled, extraordinary knowledgeable
- No overselling of any services; only a range of options for your project - you select what you want done
- Excellent communication skills; Lee listens to customer needs and talks it over with you instead of talking at you - a huge difference
- True professionalism with strong work ethic
- Accessible at all times
- Old-school one-man shop that you can trust and depend upon, providing exceptional and efficient services
Cons:
- NONE
In an essence, you will have your problem resolved in the best possible way in no time. Isn't that what you're looking for? IMHO, Lee's work is surpassing all expectations.
So one Monday morning I found myself in a position when bad things just started to pile up with no end in sight. It was shaping to be one of those disastrous Mondays, you know? Everything that could possibly go wrong did. And to top it all off, I discovered a leaking water heater in the garage that not only leaked all over the garage floor, but also cracked along the vertical seam, and flooded the adjacent to the garage bonus room. Multiple furniture pieces standing in a soaking wet carpet, things ruined, what to do next?
I figured this was my chance to go modern and get a tankless unit with never ending hot water for the whole house. Many larger water-heating installers in the area would jump at a chance to bid for a job like this, and to take you up for as much money as they could in the process. They promise you foundless mountains and happily ever after, and sound like one of those energetic timeshare salesmen insisting they're giving you a great deal, so therefore you just have to make your decision right away - otherwise all sorts of bad things will happen to you (as if you haven't had it bad enough!)
Given the complications of proper tankless installation, we opted for the traditional 50-gallon water heater, not without some initial hesitation. The large distance between the gas meter, located at one end of the building, and the desirable location for the water heater in the far corner of the garage, located at the opposite end, would complicate the installation and make the costs somewhat prohibitive to justify. Also, to support a proper installation, a new larger-size diameter gas pipe would need to be installed and strapped along the outside house wall, which in essence would make the end result look ugly. Adding a water filter at the tankless entrance to reduce corrosion in pipes from hard water would require more maintenance and increase the cost. And lastly, another smart thing to do would be enhancing a new tankless heater with a small-sized gas-heated tank for instant hot water with a turn of a faucet in the house. We just weren't ready to invest as much into the project, knowing it would still not look perfect when all finished and done. In the end, it became clear that due to our home design, we'd be better off with just replacing our traditional heater. And so it was a more obvious choice to replace the cracked leaking tank with a new one.
Fortunately, Lee was able to readjust his schedule in order to accommodate our little project in for the very next day. Not only his quote was the most honest to goodness option we've got, he did everything he said he would, and more, in the most efficient way. We were happy to not only have our project completed in one day, but to also get to know Lee. I seriously doubt it that anyone could find a better plumber in the area. Kratzer Plumbing is the best! Thank you Lee!

An update to a previous review: After the water heater install a few weeks ago, I noticed the heater would make a strange chirping sound every now and then. Concerned, I called Bellows back and they scheduled a tech to come back out to take a look right away. It turned out to be Anthony, the gentleman who did the original install. It was great that he was already familiar with the setup. While he couldn't immediately identify the issue, he didn't try to excuse away the issue. Rather, he called the manufacturer and even went so far as to go to the hardware store to buy additional tools to help him track down the issue! In the end, it turned out to be a minor adjustment to the overflow tank pressure (or so we think). While the original install was very expensive, the fact that they were so responsive to an issue speaks to the quality of and dedication to their work. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I believe this is true when working with Bellows.

While we didn't go with Wilmar plumbing this time, they were super responsive in coming out to give an estimate, followed Covid-19 protocols and quickly turned around a quote for acceptance. The quote was comparable the other 4 quotes we received for installation of faucet, garbage disposal, new plumbing for a new sink and gas hookup for a new range top. We had a few options and went with the plumber who could come out and do our install sooner.

Told us they could have us scheduled and installed within a month. When the instalation date was getting close I called them and they didn't even have us on the schedule. They had forgotten about us for two weeks and whos knows how much longer if I never called.
Two weeks after the initial agreed upon start date they actually scheduled us for an inspection, not an installation like we were promised. Some one had already come out to look and recommend a system but I guess that person was just for show?
It's been 2 months and we were just told a DAY before installation that they don't have our AC unit. It'll be a minimum of an additional 2 weeks before they can install the unit. They charged us last week insisting it needed to be done prior to installation.
I am so disappointed in the scheduling department and the communication we should have received. I get it, things take longer with these services but telling us the day before you didn't have our unit is unacceptable. This should have been communicated sooner.
Who knows when we will get our AC unit? They clearly dont.

After looking around with many companies we finally settled with serv-all. They get the job done and the price is fair. Jason has also been friendly and patient with our questions. Overall good company so we recommend it.

Unprofessional. I called them to have a service and the main operator in Sacramento was great. She told me the people from Fremont office would call me in 5 mins to schedule a service. One hour later they still hadn't called so I called back. Finally got someone from the local office on the phone. They told me they'd be at my house between 9-10am the next day. I woke up early and was ready. I got a phone call at 9:15 from a number I didn't recognize. The man said hey I'm a plumber do you still need a service. I assumed this man was one of the many folks I reached out to on yelp bc he didn't identify himself as with a company and so I said no I already have a service scheduled with a company and he said ok and hung up. Come to find out this was the guy they sent. He was outside my house, didn't knock on the door, didn't identify himself as with the company, didn't say I'm here for your scheduled service. So he left and the company said he can't come back til later. Frustrating. Would rather give my money to a more professional reliable group.

No hot water on a saturday morning! I checked out my water heater and to my surprise our tank cracked. We called oakland rooter and they were here the same day. They made it quick and easy. Brought us a new water heater and disposed of the old one. Oakland Rooter saved us! I highly recommend Ygnacio and his team.

I would give these guys 6 stars if I could. We had an issue with a drain blockage as a result of some remodeling work in our Eichler. Eichler's are notoriously tricky for plumbing issues given that they are built on a slab. When our remodeling contractors couldn't fix the problem, we called another plumbing company who couldn't either. They told us we needed to find someone who would hydrojet the line to fix the problem. James from Golden State Plumber came out promptly and came up with a creative solution to fix the problem. He spent several hours over multiple visits diagnosing and fixing the blockage. We could not be more impressed with his level of customer focus. He and his brother are the real deal. Highly recommend.

Vlad made an urgent visit to fix a major leak in our plumbing. Looking at the photos he knew what to do and gave me a price. On site, at home, he had all the tools needed to fix the problem very well - including overcoming some of the deficiencies created by the previous plumber. Highly recommended.

I needed a plumber I could trust so logged on to Yelp. After reading several reviews, I choose Richard of Affordable Plumbing Solutions. I am so glad I did. He was right on time and when he found that the problem couldn't be fixed, he got on-line, called the manufacturer and ended up getting me a new sprayer under warrenty. I was so impressed, that I then hired him to replace 3 faucets, 1 stool and a hot water heater. He did a very professional job. I am so happy that I choose Richard. I found that he was very honest and fair.

Adam and his team installed a gas line for the stove and also water line for the refrigerator. Their pricing was right inline with other quotes I received. Nice guys who are professional and efficient in their work. I was really worried the gas line would look ugly, but the way they ran it in the garage and below the stove was perfect. You hardly notice it. Highly recommend!!

Spoke to Mike and scheduled A & A plumbing to replace my kitchen faucet and fix a running toilet. Rosendo showed up right on time and ready to work. He gave me a reasonable price to replace it right away. Faucet was done in an hour. Rosendo cleaned up and took the time to go over the functions. Toilet was fixed in 5 minutes after replacing the flapper. Overall great experience and will definitely call the purple plumbers for future plumbing work on my house and refer to my friends and family.

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
