I needed a Plumber and was searching on Yelp.. Wanted someone local to Concord and had some good ratings. I saw Plumbing Solution, read the reviews and thought I'd give them a call. I called Joel Diaz 1st thing in the morning.. spoke to him and he said he would have someone here between Noon and 1pm. Joel showed up on time and was polite and seemed like a nice guy to be working with.

I showed him what my problem was and he was able to see and tell me what was needed to fix the problem and that he could start work right away. He did had the parts in his Van, so that was great. He seem knowledable and knew what he was doing without any hesitation to the task at hand.

So we agreed on a price and he started the work right away.

His work was very well done and quick. I was pleased with the results. So I give him a 5 Star rating..

We've found our go-to plumber!

We needed to redo our water service entrance and main feed lines under the house.  Sam took a look at our situation and immediately knew what to do.  It is obvious that he has pride in his work and wants to make sure a job gets done right.  He said that he refuses to do work if the customer or GC asks him to cut corners, and I really value that mindset.

Kratzer Plumbing was a tad more expensive than some competing bids, but we decided to go with them because of their attitude and professionalism.  I'm very glad we did.  They are 100% worth it.  There was one minor issue with something not being done to contract, and they came back immediately to make the change and even went beyond what was required by our contract.

I contacted Bellows to get a quote on installing a water softener. I shopped for the water softeners on Amazon to learn about them. I read about 50 reviews of the 1000 available online. The reviews said that installation of the softener takes 1-2 hours for a novice. I figured that a professional plumber could do it faster and better than me, so I called for a quote. First, the answering service took a message. The company did not call me back for 5-6 days. Then, when they called, they would not give me a ballpark for this service or tell me their hourly rate.  I agreed to have their plumbers come give me a quote. As far as installation, this would be the easiest one in the world: the water main, a drain, and an electrical outlet are all right beside my house. So no additional plumbing is necessary. Their quote was $1850, if I provided the softener, and $2500 if I bought it from them. Remember we are talking about 2 hours work for a novice. They said that all 50 of the online reviewers were overly optimistic, and it would take them 5 hours to do this installation. That makes their hourly rate $370/hour.
Then, they sent me an accidental invoice for giving me a bid.

Wilmar and his team have always been so responsive and timely. They have come through for us in a pinch quite a few times. I would 100% recommend this company. They are respectful and knowledgeable. Again, quality business!

Bellows is an overly expensive Company with poor customer service. They charge you excessive fees to fix things that are under warranty and do a pretty poor job if it. I like Costco and got in touch with Bellows through there. They make Costco look bad.

I have used this company for 40 yrs. and have never been disappointed.  I left for the holidays and arriving home, found that my water softener was continually running.   I called and within 30 min. Jason was out and repaired it.   Also,  advised me that I really needed a new one as this one was over 20 yrs. old and out of date.  I did order a new one.  He arrived on time,  installed it and cleaned up on the scheduled date.   He was very professional and answered all questions.   I definitely reccommend this company.

For the past 3 years that we've been in our home, we always default to the local plumber who does a fine job.  However, on a recent issue with the new Toto toilet, I received a quote for $600 to fix it.  This just didn't seem right.

My husband suggested we try the plubmer he uses for his business in Gilroy.  At first, I was hesistant to have someone come all the way from San Martin to help us on what I believed to be a basic fix but upon speaking with Brian, he was more than happy to help and do the drive to see what he could do.

(1) First off, Brian was PUNCTUAL - something that normally isn't a virtue with the contractors and plumbers we've used.  Having an infant at home, this was so appreciated and just plain respectful of our time - thank you!

(2) Brian quickly UNDERSTOOD the issue, had the correct parts to fix it in less than an hour.

(3) Brian was RESPECTFUL of our home, making sure to keep clean the area he worked in.

(4) Finally, he charged us a very FAIR PRICE, especially considering his commute - just $200 to complete the work!

In addition, a left over issue from a past job by our former plubmer to fix the kitchen sink still acts up from time to time.  Brian had a look and quickly understood the issue and is going to come again to fix it.

What I appreciate so much is that the team at Sullivan isn't green to plumbing issues.  Clearly, Brian has grown up around the trade and can quickly and effectively address the issues without wasting time and our money.

we had an issue replacing the shower handle cartridge. I had got quote from another reputed business who not only charged me $89 for the visit but the quote was atrocious! ($750) even though i was providing the part. On someone's suggestion I called Preferred Plumbing. Michael (#34) was very responsive and clearly educated me on the problem and the options which never felt pushy. While doing the job he explained how everything worked and was able to fix the issue within an hour! the best part is they charge hourly which is very reasonable. We definitely have found our permanent plumbing service and I highly recommend them!

Thanks to Jose M. for stopping our toilet from overflowing this week. Another Oakland Rooter & Plumbing person previously helped us with a kitchen sink back up.

In both cases, they came when they said they would, they were nice to us, they were neat in our house, they explained stuff to us in words we could understand, and the price was completely fair.

This has not been our experience before with plumbers. We are very relieved to know about that this business is nearby.

Julio was remarkable! He replaced my water softener and in doing so showed a creativity and ingenuity to complete the job well. I purchased a smaller than previous unit and the shorter height caused a problem with the connectors. The longest (24) pipes were too short to reach the new unit. The picture shows how he solved the issue. I was able to save money and avoid the trouble of having to return the new unit for a larger one that I don't need.

I had a leak in my master bathroom faucet. I called Vlad at around 6 PM and just took a chance. He immediately said that he will come inspect the leak in 30 minutes. Not in my wildest dream, I ever thought that Vlad will come to fix the issue right away.

He arrived on time, inspected it and gave me a reasonable estimate. It required a new part so he promised me to come back next morning at 8-30 AM. He arrived right on time conveyed. He fixed it, cleaned it and made my life easier and happier. He's a very smart , skilled and qualified plumber.

Vlad will be my go-to plumber now without any single iota of doubt.

I can't say enough good things about the service and response time. My son had called and described the problem to Richard (a plugged toilet) and Richard said he could come the next evening, and that it would be a flat $125 if he could snake it clear (which we'd already tried several times) or $250 if he had to disassemble and reassemble the toilet. He was good to his word, even arriving a little early, and explained everything as he was doing it.  He did end up having to remove the toilet to dislodge the clog ( a flashlight had been dropped into the toilet!), but he was true to his quote of $250 and was happy to take my check (a lot of others required cash). He also cleaned up after himself and gave me some good advice about maintaining the toilet in good condition. You couldn't do better than to call Affordable Plumbing Solutions!

They are very good. Adam is pretty busy so you may not get a hold of him right away but, if you can hold on, he is worth the wait. We had a broken water heater and he was able to come to fix it on the weekend (he was fully booked all week long). He is a good craftsman, works diligently and gave us a reasonable price. Often these qualities are hard to find in a plumber.

My returning pipe of the swimming pool was leaking. I spent $345 to let this company check and identify the problem. Then the technician from the company give me the quotation which is $1490 to fix a leaking pipe.Does anybody think it is too much expensive? The worst thing is they charge me another $200 for cutting a small root on the top of the leaking pipe. I am so angry about them. This company asked for your credit card information before they begin to work. After this experience, I understood the reason they did this because they are too much expensive and charge the customer without any reasons. They got your credit and charge you whatever they want to. And you cannot do anything. So, do not give them any business! I did not let them to put the concrete back which should be deduct $200, they should charge me $1290, but they still charge me $1490 even they did not put the concrete back and they said that $200 is for cutting root.

So , do not trust them and do not give them any business unless they change.

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should  be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
