This is the guy you need to call when you have a plumbing problem. Dan came to my place to unclog the sink. Within an hour, problem solved.  Highly recommended to friends or anyone who needs plumbing  service.

Highly recommend! I can't say enough great things about this company. Great customer service, Francielle is always there to assist and help with any questions. Julio and Christopher, owners were hands on. When they arrived to begin my repipe they explained what they were doing, even added a new pipe outside. They all worked together like an orchestra, and everyone was so happy and friendly. This is more like a family. The job was done on time. They cleaned up. When the inspector came to inspect job for permit, it passed without issue and after all pro came and did the patching, which looked great, the same inspector came back and said it was a really nice job. I definitely would hire them again! This is a company you can trust and these days that's hard to find!

Joel called around 6:45 am as a response to my email which I sent at midnight. We scheduled to meet in 3 hours and he fixed and completed replacement of the main pipe that afternoon. A very prompt and professional worker with a lot of good sense as a person. He's a new friend and reliable source for family, friends and clients.

I don't know how they got their 5-star rating. A hall toilet clogged up in mid-April. They used a toilet auger (the same one I have), and were gone in 10 minutes. I was charged $150. Less than a month later, the toilet clogged again. I checked my receipt, and the warranty is for 10 days. So I'm out $150 and a few weeks later I'm snaking my own toilet again.

They also do not return phone calls.

A big thank you to Paul from Bellows Plumbing!  Our sink was backed up and none of our basic fixes were doing the trick.  He came out and when his first attempt to roto didn't solve it he became a detective, trying to determine the source of the problem.  We have some wacky plumbing, but Paul was able to move the clog along the line from the sink to the bathroom and clear it out from there.  So glad he kept at it, and thankful to have a fully functioning house again!

Our kitchen drain was plugged,   We called on Sun they came on Mon am.   Fixed it and charged a reasonable few.  I highly recommend Wilmar Plumbing.

The thermostate had died over the weekend, and it was too chilly during the nights for any comfort even when wearing the house robe.
 
I called the company on Monday for an appointment, made for Tuesday  between 8 AM and 10 AM.
Got a phone call at 7:30 AM on Tuesday that left a message that the man is on his way, and a few minutes before 8 he is knocking at my door.

Jeff was the man of the hour!  He explained everything that he was doing, and whatever he would do as he went along.  I was provided with the latest
model of thermostate, and how to use it for home comfort with energy savings. I was always getting email notices from PG&E as to saving energy,
and reducing billings.
For the time, effort and arrangements for future needs, the cost was very
reasonable.

I had a new water softener installed, my old softener was not a Serv-All product. However, after Jason came out and spoke to me about a water softener unit there was no question in my mind about having Serv-All install my new unit. Jason answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly and made me feel very confident about using Serv-All. They were prompt in making an appointment for the new installation. The installer showed up on time, did a great job on the install, and was very clean, no mess. They removed the old softener,  and again, answered any questions I had about the new unit and how it works and the programming along with being very courteous and very nice.
I will recommend Serv-All and their product, as I was very pleased from the beginning to the end of the process. Great company and people to work with besides having a great product.

Not really impressed. I had a straightforward job and when I asked for a ballpark figure, couldn't get even an order of magnitude.

The work appeared to be done well but...

The plumber was 40 minutes late and disappeared for a 45 minute part run. So, he spent three hours in my house working and the bill was 1400 dollars.

If you're considering a career in law or medicine, save yourself about 8 years of education. You can command comparably ridiculous rates as a plumber.

It's hard to competitively shop with plumbing needs and I think they know it. Buyer beware.

I had actually first called Frank's, who was too busy(good problem to have) to fix my semi-urgent shower issue, but he suggested I call Sullivan Plumbing, and even gave me the number.
I am so glad that he did! Sullivan Plumbing was able to come out this morning, and totally took care of the problem, cleaned up like they were never there, and charged a good price for the service.
I wish all problems with this old house were as easily handled.

I definitely recommend Dave's. I called on a Saturday and they answered right away, and were able to quickly come and give an estimate. Reasonable prices! Very happy

Vince came over today to help the water pressure problem we hade on one of our sinks. He works super efficiently!! First he spent within 10 mins to diagnose the problem. He explained to me and my husband and provided an estimate. He then went to buy the part and came back saying the part has been obsolete and what he can do to fix the water pressure other than changing the whole faucets. The whole process took about an hour and is super transparent and efficient. Thanks Vince!!

Great service from knowledgeable employees.

I have a storm drain that wasn't working properly, and Oakland Rooter & Plumbing sent Cesar and someone else whose name I didn't catch. They tried to snake the drain and removed some mud and fabric (?!), but the water still wouldn't drain properly. Because they were unable to fix the problem, they didn't charge me, and asked if a third person from the same company could stop by later that day to assess the situation.

Jose M. came by and looked around. He provided a thorough explanation of what he thought the issue was with the buried drainage pipes, how it might have happened, and what my next steps should be. The fix was outside the scope of the work that Oakland Rooter & Plumbing does, but I appreciated their attempt and recommendation!

I just had the privilege of working with Julio from Golden State Plumber (he just left about 10 minutes ago). I am getting my house ready to rent and the water valves under the kitchen sink needed to be upgraded. Julio was fast, friendly and professional. He even left the space under the sink cleaner than he found it! He is returning to update the gas line for the stove. After the nightmare I had with the last contractor ( repeated call backs to fix mistakes which led me to firing them); It is nice to have someone who does it right the first time. Below are some before and after pictures of his work.

He just came over and looked at our leaking toilet and faucet.

Problem - Delta faucet leaks.
His advice - call the manufacturer because there's a lifetime warranty.  He could fix at $100, recommended that I do it myself with free warranty parts.

Problem - toilet drain seal broken.
His advice - he looked at it, ran some tests, and told us that there was no leak.  There was discoloration around the toilet, but no leak.  he proved it with a piece of toilet paper.  He put it UNDER the toilet base and showed that there was no water there.

He left - advice given, no pay.

Good Guys Plumbing is a reliable and no nonsense plumbing service that we used at our rental property. We had a leaking tankless water heater and called up several plumbing companies that were unable to diagnose the problem and finally we found GGP. They were able to get the whole unit replaced within a few hours at a very reasonable price. In addition, GGP is honest and values its customers. In our area, hard water is a huge problem and Adam consulted us about having filters installed. He was not pushy like other salesmen but said to call him up when we were ready because we wanted to try magnetic descaling before going to filters. After installing the filters, one of the magnetic descalers were missing. Adam were happy to order new magnets! A+ service and communications! We know were to call for our next service!

My water heater started leaking and I was afraid the wood platform it was sitting on would give way and I would have a disaster!
When my 10+ year plumber did not make time for me I followed a recommendation from a neighbor on Next door and called them.
Dominique was wonderful! She told me they were busy and gave me an appointment a few days later - I explained my concern for the water damaged wood that the tank was sitting on and she understood the urgency. She sent Jaime,  who diagnosed that I needed a water heater NOW!
within hours he came back with Mike and together they installed it.
I can't be more thankful and grateful to all of them for  for their outstanding service.
P'S there was a  discount coupon on their website for new water heater install, I did not use it, they were well worth what they charged.
I will recommend them to my friends but most of all I hope we give them enough business so they can continue to service the bay area! : )

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should  be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
