Lee gave us the best price per hour of work and was able to give an estimate in hours of work it takes to fix the leaking toilet and shower. He was able to stay pretty close to his quote even though he discovered and had to take care of an additional problem with a leaking shower pipe inside the wall. Lee is also one of the most professional plumbers that I had a pleasure to invite into my house, has tons of experience, is very knowledgeable about what he is doing, and communicates and explains things very clearly. He fixed the problem, and I still had to pay $120 less than any other estimate which I was given by other plumbers, even with an additional hour of work! The shoe covers are a really nice touch, too, since we are always walking barefoot inside the house during the summer.

I needed to deal with sewer laterals for a property sale.  Well, a few days ago, I didn't even know what they were, but I made an appointment with Bellows (recommended by three different people) and I'm so glad I did.  Mike was the person who came out to tHe property to take a look.  As soon as he saw the area , he asked if we were part of a Homeowners Association.  He checked with the County who checked the CC & R's and we were done!  This never would have happened if Mike had not been as knowledgeable as he is and if he hadn't taken the initiative to ask questions.

Our bathroom sink was clogging up for a good 3 months. Andres and Frankie did a great job fixing it. They were courteous and friendly, wearing shoe covers. Andres also took the time to explain why green gobbler didn't work on our sink and what we can do in the future to troubleshoot. The whole process took less than 30 minutes.

Owner responds very quickly on Yelp when I requested quotes.

Told us they could have us scheduled and installed within a month. When the instalation date was getting close I called them and they didn't even have us on the schedule. They had forgotten about us for two weeks and whos knows how much longer if I never called.

Two weeks after the initial agreed upon start date they actually scheduled us for an inspection, not an installation like we were promised. Some one had already come out to look and recommend a system but I guess that person was just for show?

It's been 2 months and we were just told a DAY before installation that they don't have our AC unit. It'll be a minimum of an additional 2 weeks before they can install the unit. They charged us last week insisting it needed to be done prior to installation.

I am so disappointed in the scheduling department and the communication we should have received.  I get it, things take longer with these services but telling us the day before you didn't have our unit is unacceptable. This should have been communicated sooner.

Who knows when we will get our AC unit? They clearly dont.

I had a new water softener installed, my old softener was not a Serv-All product. However, after Jason came out and spoke to me about a water softener unit there was no question in my mind about having Serv-All install my new unit. Jason answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly and made me feel very confident about using Serv-All. They were prompt in making an appointment for the new installation. The installer showed up on time, did a great job on the install, and was very clean, no mess. They removed the old softener,  and again, answered any questions I had about the new unit and how it works and the programming along with being very courteous and very nice.
I will recommend Serv-All and their product, as I was very pleased from the beginning to the end of the process. Great company and people to work with besides having a great product.

Called Dave's Specialized Rooter & plumbing . For a leaking water heater, made and appointment he came same day to take care my old water heater . He was on time , he recommended for a new installation , I was happy to have my hot water back I will recommend  Dave's to all my friends and relatives he was clean and professional all the way to complete the work and going the extra mile to finish in the same day.

Benjamin Williams and his colleague were  awesome ! He came into our place of business ready and willing to help with our exploding bathrooms. He got the job done in a day and a half and even cleaned them ! He later returned to fix another broken toilet ! Yay them !

I have problems with my shower-head and the faucet. There is no water comes out from the shower-head. Cuz I have school from 9 to 6pm, I called couple plumbers for help, but they don't offer before 9 or after 6. And I find them, they are so nice, and come in the early morning next day.

They did a very quick job, they went to the shop, and came back replace the shower-head and the faucet in an hour. They are very nice and professional, and they did not charge extra money, due to i am a student, they just charged me a very reasonable price.

Julio was remarkable! He replaced my water softener and in doing so showed a creativity and ingenuity to complete the job well. I purchased a smaller than previous unit and the shorter height caused a problem with the connectors. The longest (24) pipes were too short to reach the new unit. The picture shows how he solved the issue. I was able to save money and avoid the trouble of having to return the new unit for a larger one that I don't need.

Needed a quick repair on a garbage disposal and called around to various area plumbers. Business owner Vlad answered the call himself and provided a straightforward, prompt and super competitive quote. We were grateful that he showed up on our doorstep within an hour of my inquiry due to him being in the area and having a free window of time between jobs. They got the job done in record time. Very kind and honest vibe from Vlad and team. Will be bookmarking his name for future references to others!

Original Post - 1 Star: I have left them a message via phone (a month ago) and email (a week ago).  No one at this place will return my messages.  

Update 2/15/11 -
I find it intriguing that the business is now trying to contact me after my 1 star review of their service (I gave them two more stars since they are trying to help me now).  They claim they didn't get my email or voice messages.  Both?  Really!  I called the number on their website 408.972.5325 and left a message.  I know I got the right number because the answering machine indicated so.  I left a message indicating I needed help with tightening the loose faucet heads in my bathrooms.  I didn't hear from them for a few weeks so I decided to send an email to them at service@affordableplumbi….  I still have the email in my sent mailbox.  I honestly think that I didn't hear from them because the service I requested seemed like too small of a job.  Another plumber I contacted just kept pushing me off to the side once he heard what service I needed.  Finally, Adam at San Jose Plumbing came to fix the faucets - saying no job is ever a small job.  

I could be wrong.  Through the crazy phone and email services, they really might have not received either of my messages.  I can see that many other reviewers gave raving reviews of this Company.  So, don't let my review deter you from calling them up.  Just be aware they may not get your voice messages or emails - so try multiple times.

They really are the good guys. After getting several bids for work we didn't need, Good Guys Plumbing showed up and gave us an honest assessment.

They told us why we did not need some of the extras that had been recommended by other plumbers and then took the time to explain it all.

When all was said and done they came in with a lower bid and top notch service. They were professional, courteous and punctual. Adam was great at getting right back to us via text and phone anytime we had questions or concerns. I am so happy to have discovered the most honest plumber around.

Very bad experience getting this plumber to even respond to getting a quote for plumbing jobs at my house. Here is my experience thus far

1. Call the listed number 4087388878 multiple times only to get answering machine. Finally get hold of some lady on ph who takes my request to send someone to my house to take a look and give estimate for plumbing jobs

2. A person arrives on time on agreed date next week and takes stock of all work to be done including pictures of sink, washer etc and says he will work estimate and I will hear back in 1-2 days.

3. No one calls even when 1 week has passed and I get in same cycle trying to contact listed number multiple times with no luck leaving voice messages and then finally after 2 weeks I manage to talk to Mike.

4. After repeating the whole job list on phone like that onsite visit never happened, I still get no estimate and fleeting mention that yeah some helper had mentioned of this job at my house in Sunnyvale which Mike or whoever owns this plumbing service did not bother responding to.

5. I am told to send all job info that I went over 2nd time on ph and once in person by sending mail this time  to [email protected]. I shamelessly do that right after my call with Mike and am assured I will get estimate quickly.

6. Dead silence for rest of work week after resending all info on mail and I am back to trying to call the listed number just to know what happened.

If it takes over 3 weeks just to get A&A plumbers to get estimate I am very sceptical about this companies customer service and ability to take up and complete jobs on time. They simply don't seem to care :-(

I go somewhere else and get estimate within 24 hrs and jobs are starting next week.

Would you still want to go with A&A plumbing?

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should  be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
