Mike came on a Sunday, happily explained what had happened and what he was doing to fix things up. When the kitchen sink started leaking a month later, we had Sean and Oscar come out on two different trips. They were friendly, professional and great about advising us on what to do. I haven't compared their prices with many others, but they were cool about trying to save us time and money.

5 stars! Highly recommend! Victor is super fast and nice person. My faucet didn't work this morning and I tried to contact with 6 different company. I am so lucky I did a good choice.
1, After I asked a quote, Victor was the first person answer with yelp. 5-10 mins. Very fast.
2, Very reasonable and clean price. He just told me how much about fix this problem.
3, He is really professional, you just need send him a pic, he will pick up new faucet to your home and help you to change to it. Or tell you what kind of faucet you need.
4, Come fast and when he start to drive will let you know. You can know when he will appear and not a long time waiting.
5, When he arrived, he will figure out the problem in a minute and start to work.
6, Victor worked really good and fast. He only used half a hour to fix it. And he also told me each part about the new faucet.
I have a baby at home, Victor is so nice and also say hi and bye bye to my baby.

During a period of heavy rainfall, I noticed that the underground rain gutter was not properly draining and water was pooling close to the house/foundation. Not knowing where the the clog was, or where the drain ends, I knew I needed help.

I reached out to two plumbing companies, neither of which provide underground drain snaking services. Santos was the third person I spoke with - he was quick to recommend snaking and jetting, and said he could be at our Sunnyvale home in a timely manner. He was very responsive by phone / text.

Once Santos arrived, he worked quickly. In an hour, he had tried both snaking and jetting. Eventually we found the exit point for the water, and he helped remove dirt that had clogged it up. He charged what seemed like a fair price, and I would reach out to him again for future plumbing issues.

Bueno Plumbing was awesome. I originally contacted them through the Thumbtack application because I didn't have any Hot Water pressure.

They offered to come out same day. We opted for the next day. They did a water diagnostic and found that my water heater finally died. Edgar was great.

Jimmy came the following Monday. Swapped out the water heater and repaired a valve in the bathroom shower.

Everyone I spoke to was extremely professional, polite, and quick. They aren't the cheapest, not the most expensive, but a bargain for the quality of service.

I have been having problems with my plumbing for awhile now. I ended up buying a snake and every few months or so I would have to use it to clear the pipes up. Finally, I was fed up and decided to call professionals to see if there was a bigger problem.

I found Northstar Plumbing on Yelp and were impressed by their reviews. I called them and they were at my house within 30 minutes.

They worked on two pipes by using a powerful snake to clear them up. My favorite part was them diagnosing the problem with a camera. It was pretty neat to see what was going on in there. Lo and behold, there were roots growing in my pipe from a huge tree I had out front. It's pretty common and I'll just have to maintain it yearly. They cut through it and told me to poor down root killers to help slow down the growth.

I was surprised at their professionalism and hard work of nearly two hours for only $165. Even at one point, Anthony climbed down a manhole to retrieve something. Now that's dedication!

I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I'll be calling them next time I have another plumbing problem.

Takai at Hightop Plumbing did an outstanding job installing a new water heater for us.  I discussed with him the job at 5PM and by 3PM the next day he was onsite working on the installation.  He discussed with me all of the work that would take place to get our 30 year old heater replaced.  His work was high quality and we are very happy with his communication throughout the whole job.  We will be looking forward to hiring Hightop Plumbing for future projects.

Our kitchen sink sprung a leak this past weekend. I called John on Sunday and even though he had a full schedule on Monday, he came first thing in the morning to resolve the problem. He had suggested that I get a new faucet before he came in case that was the issue and indeed it was. Since I had a new one here, he was able to replace the old one quickly and efficiently. I was so pleased that he was able to help us in such a speedy manner. He's always pleasant to work with and his fees are very reasonable.

I recently had George/All Pipes Plumbing repiped my whole house. He provided the most comprehensive, competitive bid, explained everything thoroughly, and has been reliable throughout the whole process. His is very knowledgeable and experienced, his work ethic is outstanding, he is friendly and takes great pride in his work. He is also very resourceful and takes all the challenges that come with replacing 70 year old galvanized plumbing in stride! He kept me apprised of issues I needed to be aware of during the job, and never used them as an excuse to bump the price of the work. He goes out of his way to keep his customers happy. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He's the best!

Had a dire emergency so I quickly Yelp'ed plumbers in the area and called Ivan due to his stellar reviews. To Ivan's credit, he answered the phone after a couple of rings and after describing the situation he said he was not available that day (which is more than understandable) but when I inquired as to his next availability he said he was busy, full stop; no additional follow-up, concern, recommendations given the level of emergency, or indication of when exactly he might be available, and worst of all was the tone: terse, completely disinterested, and pretentious, as if  I were a nuisance. I'm grateful there are other options as there is no better equalizer than competition.

Alex was great. He had an opening the next day we called and came out to clear the kitchen drain.  Very professional with mask, gloves and shoe booties to protect our floors.  He went with the smaller drain snake option to start but when it wasn't good enough switches to the larger roller drain snake.  Rolled out a mat to make so no stains from the wheels were on the floors.  Did a clean up afterwards to make sure any drips and spills were gone.  Price matched quoted price, no up charges or add on fees.  I would recommend.

Steven and the guys are some of the best in the bay area. There service is top notch and customer service is a high priority with sps. Been using them for the last 5 10 years or so. If you need anything from them you just let them know.

Our kitchen sink has been backed up for months. I began making my way through yelp in search of a specialized plumber and was put in contact with Bunnies plumbing. Adhemar, responded to all of my questions was very patient with me. When he came out to inspect the plumbing issue he was straight forward and explained everything so I could understand. Unfortunately, the plumbing issue wasn't fixed because it requires a second visit. I definitely recommend Bunnies plumbing.

These guys are top notch.  I highly recommend Shawn.

Story:  I first called $15 Drain and had them come out to clear up a clogged main sewer line.  The guy showed up and immediately told me my hourly price ($88/man/hour) would be doubled because they needed to go through the roof vent and it would require another guy.  He came alone so I was going to have to wait.  Since I had to go to work, I ended up telling him to come later.  I decided to call around and check some other options and found Shawn at Handyman Plumbers.
Shawm was very nice, honest and I got a good vibe.  Additionally, he charges a FLAT rate which is much better than the hourly other larger companies will charge.  Shawn came out, ended up not needing to go through the roof vent and unclogged my main.  It took at most 45 minutes.  He also was kind enough to show me how to put the toilet back together.  Very helpful, very professional and honest.

Instead of a long soliloquy I'll just note what was awesome.

1) arrives on time-for all appointments he and Matt were very prompt

2) honest-did not try to sell me a false set of problems

3) clean-as soon as he showed up for the initial meeting they put on shoe covers, while not that important it showed how they respect their potential customer's homes.  

4) thorough-unlike all the others who showed up to bid my project and just peeked under my house.  Charles suited up and crawled around under my house for 10 minutes, then told me what he was going to do to fix the issue.  

5) communication-there was never any problem, I knew what he was planning on doing and he updated me along the way with pictures and updates.

Overall, a total 5 star company and one we will be calling in the future for the next big job.
