I had Water Quality Plumbing come in to replace a water shut off valve and install new shower trim.

Visit #1
They did a good job of replacing the valve but left a hole in the wall.  I was told to make ANOTHER appointment to have someone come patch the hole and put in a box to access the new valve which was in the wall.  For the shower trim, the plumber didn't bother to look at the existing valve or rough in even though I asked him multiple times to just take a look since there is a vent behind to see if what he was thinking was even possible but he cut through the wall behind the valve and after cutting through 2 walls found the vents were obstructing his access.  He couldn't do the work and now I had 2 holes in a bedroom.  So I scheduled 2nd appointment to patch all the holes and put in the box while I ordered a new shower trim that they could install from front with a smitty plate.  Took about 1.5 hours.

The sheet rock guy came and patched up the holes but didn't bring any box with him for the valve so left a hole to access the valve but I can't even access it to turn it.  Told me someone from Water Quality Plumbing would call me but no one called me back.  I called them and still waiting for them to call me back once they talk to the plumber.  Took about 1.5 hours.

The sheet rock guy came and put in the box for the water shut off valve and then he spent rest of time installing the shower rough in, valve, and trim.  At first he was just going to put in the box, but one of the owners had called me and told me everything would get done today so I had to call and ask why he wasn't finish everything off.  Few more calls and he finally started on the shower.  He did a decent job on the shower, though I've seen better on YouTube.  He tested the seal for cold water and hot water for rough in to tub spout, but not to the shower which was concerning.  Hopefully, there won't be a leak, he installed everything and tested it but the rough in was already covered up by valve so couldn't really tell if pipe to shower was sealed.

This company has terrible communication between scheduling lady, the guy who shows up to do the work, the owner, and all the subsequent guys who show up to finish the work.  Maybe this is how they have operated the business, but they need to make the transition into the 21st century, simple things like notes on receipts, setting customer expectations, and consistent execution would make it a 5 star company.  They have experienced personnel, but maybe if they were too efficient, they wouldn't be able to charge people for multiple visits, I don't know why they operate so chaotically.  Even after 3 hours, he couldn't finish the 20 mins sheet rock patch job, so had to schedule a follow up visit.  He was suppose to be on another customer's job but they sent him out to me instead.  They should have just set the right expectation at the front by communicating with me the exact work he was going to do and time he would be available.  Now they had 2 customers taking time off work to stay at home to get the plumbing work done and they only had one guy to do the work.

They charge by the hour which is nice, but it took them 4 visits to replace a water shut off valve and install new shower rough in, valve, and trim.  I bought my own shower rough in, valve and trim and still ended up paying Water Quality Plumbing far more than I expected given their years of experience.  It was a time sink which I didn't expect and the communication within the company needs improvement.

I have used Wizard Plumbing for many years and have never been disappointed. Clogged drains, broken showers, faucets, water heaters, you name it they have been here for it. Always on time, friendly and do excellent work. Last winter when I called Wizard about a shower issue, Gregg came out. I happened to mention my wall heater wasn't working and to my surprise he was able to repair it and even vacuumed it out and replaced the thermostat. The heater has worked great ever since. My third time to call Tino for help to fix shower pipe leaking and kitchen sink disposal breakdown; also there comes 2 other plumbing maintenance fixes. Tino did careful examining and offer a fair price for 4 projects. When he started, it shows the shower leaking in my old house was very tougher to fix than he estimated before, as he had to climb up to mid-roof to cut a hole to take whole leaking pipe out without breaking the tiles and wall inside the house. This leaking fix took him extra double or triple hours in a week period; but he still charges me the original estimation prices. I was so moved and honored by his sincere attitudes, hard working spirits by spending his holiday time and night overtime hours, along with his perfect handcraft plumbing fixes. He is not only just a highly skilled professional plumber, but also a trustful good-heart person you can rely on.

Quick response and very efficient! Takai came in the next morning and did the job very smoothly on a leak from one of the outdoor valves. Was very professional with the work and easy to communicate with.

We saw the dishwasher keep draining from the air gap and contacted Agilis plumbing on a Sunday late afternoon. We got response within 10 minutes and they sent a plumber to diagnose very next day. The communication is super smooth. They arrived on time, quickly found the potential issue, gave a very reasonable quote and fixed it. They also gave us a receipt with clear notes about what has been done.

Our kitchen sink drain backed up on a Saturday night and Ivan promptly showed early Sunday morning and cleared out the backup.

He accessed it from the roof vent, which is a lot more work, but much more efficient, clean and effective. Whereas in the past, others have always accessed it and cleared out the backup from the external cleanout.

Very prompt and knowledgeable and would highly recommend the service.

Alex to the rescue!! Backed into the main water pipe beside my garage (not my proudest moment). Alex answered my call immediately and showed up within 30 min. He assessed the situation, formulated a solution and away he went to fixing it. Highly recommend!!

Our Whirlpool water heater broke down and struggling to find a good plumbing to fix it. Whirlpool Customer Services recommended 3 different companies. I was lucky enough to get in touch with SPS Plumbing!!! The receptionist was so helpful and friendly. Within few hours, the Repairman came and fixed the water heater for us right away. Honest and dependable. Did what he said he was going to do and when he would do it. Glad to have found him.

Our kitchen sink has been backed up for months. I began making my way through yelp in search of a specialized plumber and was put in contact with Bunnies plumbing. Adhemar, responded to all of my questions was very patient with me. When he came out to inspect the plumbing issue he was straight forward and explained everything so I could understand. Unfortunately, the plumbing issue wasn't fixed because it requires a second visit. I definitely recommend Bunnies plumbing.

Writing this review as Shawn leaves our house. Neither my husband nor I are very handy, and we just purchased our first home. Every home has its kinks and ours is certainly no exception. We called Shawn out to take a look at why our air gap filter in our dishwasher was gushing water onto our counters, and to have him take a look at why water wasn't dispensing from our brand new fridge. Before he even got down to the work, Shawn showed us (because as new, unknowledgable homeowners, we don't know anything!) where various water shutoff valves were around our house. He really took the time to teach us and explain everything, which is something we really appreciate.

Turns out the air gap filter just needed a bit of cleaning in the hose (there was a lot of gunk in there from the previous owners); now, when our dishwasher drains, it isn't gushing out water.

The fridge water hookup was a bit trickier. Shawn didn't hesitate to put on his crawl space suit and got down and dirty, underneath our house to help us locate the water shutoff valve. The reason we weren't getting any water from our fridge was because the water valve had been turned down to a trickle. He turned the water back on, and now we're getting water from the fridge, hooray!

Bottom line, Shawn is the best; he really cares and takes the time to make sure you are educated so that you know what to do when a plumbing crisis arises! Thank you so much, we're definitely recommending you to all of our South Bay friends.

Charley is the best!  He is professional, intelligent, very skillful, and honest.  We had a bad case of water leak in craw space, had to move out of the house for weeks.  Having Charles there for us was the easiest and most pleasant part of the whole process.  Go with him and you will never need another plumber.  So glad we found him!
