Best Plumbing Services in San Jose, CA

Today is Monday, the one day a week I have free. I asked Water Quality Plumbing to schedule a gas water heater replacement for a Monday. It was functioning fine and not leaking, but 14 years old and full of calcium and sediment to the point it wouldn't drain...   any Monday would be fine.
They asked how about 1pm today?
Wow.... great!
They showed up, did a clean job to code, and Woohoo! I don't have to spend another Monday on this issue.

Our toilet is original to our place which means it is easily approaching 20 years old. What started as a weak flush escalated into a perpetually running toilet as the toilet could not quite fill itself to the point to tell the pump to stop filling it with water as the flap at the bottom had eroded. We tried our YouTube meets Amazon wizardry to try to replace the flap but our toilet was too old and it failed epically. We called a competitor who came out and diagnosed our toilet as being too old and quoted us an installation price that was fast approaching four figures -- not including the cost of the toilet! Keep in mind we were just asking for a standard toilet replacement, not a bidet or anything fancy.

I called around and reached Vic and was able to explain my situation as well as provide photos of the toilet. He asked about the valve as well and I sent him a picture of that as well and recommended that it may need to be replaced as well. He was reasonable and was able to come quickly. Vic even offered to pick up the toilet for us, which was a great help and timesaver (toilets are REALLY heavy btw).

The day arrives and Vic arrives on time and ready to roll when we realized the waterline was not shut off (even though the HOA implied this would be part of the process...). After confirming the location of the pipes in the building (unlabeled, mind you), Vic was able to turn off the waterline and completed the service in under 2 hours. He replaced the toilet as well as updated the valve so in the future we wouldn't have to involve the HOA to turn off the water supply.

It was barely 11 am when he finished and I while I had steeled myself for a daylong ordeal he was already done -- new toilet installed, old toilet removed, all the social distancing protocols (masks, gloves, booties to cover his shoes) followed to a T. Thank you, Vic, for bringing a newfound quiet that we didn't even realize we were missing as well as a new toilet!

A friend referred us to Santos and we couldn't be happier with his service. Talked to him yesterday and he came out first thing this AM and completed several jobs for us in just a couple hours including fixing a leaking toilet, a leaky sink and 2 slow drains. The leaky sink was a bit tricky as it has a unique low profile p-trap for aesthetic reasons and he was able to save us $150 in parts by coming up with a custom solution using standard off-the-shelf parts! We were so pleased with his professionalism and the quality of work that we are having him coming back tomorrow for additional work. Super strong communicator and someone I instantly felt comfortable leaving alone in our house. Fair pricing. Highly recommend.

Had an urgent need for plumbing services in the early evening. Toilet gurgling and then back up in both the bathtub and a shower stall. Water overflowed from shower into the bedroom. I searched Yelp and Nextdoor for recommendations and found Wizard! The responses I received when I called were helpful professional and caring. My desperation was surely evident.
Jay arrived at the house within 30 minutes!  He quickly addressed the issue, offered recommended solutions and even referred me to a restoration company for possible water damage!  Jay came back as promised the next day to further diagnose the issue. Wizard came to my rescue and really hit the mark for excellent service.
5 star in my book!!

Kevin and his team were very responsive and professional. I was remodeling my kitchen and needed the water pipes to be rerouted since I was switching the positions of the sink and the dishwasher.  Kevin found another problem once the walls were opened and they fixed it too.  Everything was done on time. Highly recommend them.

Scheduled with with Anthony over phone. He was clear upfront and gave the price over the phone. I had garbage disposal that needs replacing, sink was leaking, shower head leaking, and tub was clogged. Anthony said he can fix all of them. He did come a different day because of a mistake but everything was fixed in the end. He came on time and got to work ASAP.

I actually tried calling other plumbers who were not as professional and clear over the phone and and said they couldn't do certain things.

I will keep his number just in case I need I need further plumbing.

Tino is great!  Had a problem with my exterior faucet and was able to do the repair while I was waiting.  When Tino arrived he was very polite and after checking if everything looked ok, he left without a charge.  Definitely keeping his card on file.

Takai at Hightop Plumbing did an outstanding job installing a new water heater for us.  I discussed with him the job at 5PM and by 3PM the next day he was onsite working on the installation.  He discussed with me all of the work that would take place to get our 30 year old heater replaced.  His work was high quality and we are very happy with his communication throughout the whole job.  We will be looking forward to hiring Hightop Plumbing for future projects.

We had a drain back up into our garage and Agilis was super responsive and quick to help us out.  They did a great job, were efficient, and helpful.  We'd definitively recommend them and will use them for future plumbing needs.

Great quick responses in Yelp and qoute! Needed our water softener cleaned out. Scheduling with them they were very busy with the recent storms. But they got Me scheduled when someone else had canceled. Very good service and he was done in less than 1 hour. A bit pricey for what I needed, but did the job right and excellent customer service. Therefore, earned solid 4 stars from me. Thanks all Pipes.

Ivan was great! He was able to come the next day that I called him, showed up on time and fixed my kitchen sink very quickly! He is not only very good at his job but also a very nice guy. I definitely will be using Patterson Plumbing next time I have a plumbing issue.

When our kitchen sink backed up and was completely clogged, we needed a plumber right away. Alex from Super Plumber Rooter Service responded to my request very quickly. He came over to our house that afternoon and fixed the problem. He was professional and courteous. I highly recommend them when you need a good plumber.

I contacted multiple plumbing companies, and SPS plumbers were the only one who showed expertise for the tankless water heater I had issues with. They came in to flush the water heater, but unfortunately due to the bad scaling that was on it, the water heater had a leak on the heater exchange, which is common if not regularly flushed. In any case, I called SPS plumbers the next day, and they sent Ruben again right away, which investigated and took care of everything to make sure we had a replacement unit! Scheduled a replacement, went smoothly, they were really nice, professional, and took the time to ensure everything was done properly, not rushed (even though we can tell they have busy schedule) ! Contacting them on yelp is also such a breeze because they're very responsive, the people I was in contact with were Shawna (Gaby), and Ruben, I've already started referring them to people I know have issues with plumbing, definitely recommend !! Another nice plus is that you can pay the invoice online, very easily and have clear detailed receipt !

Cardinal plumbing was recommended by a friend who has owned a business related to plumbing for over 30 years.  The crew delivered everything as promised and then some on the repiping job.  Courteous, friendly, neat, and professional.  Water was shut off for only 8 hours at most.  End result:  Strong water pressure, clean copper sweating, neat stucco and sheetrock repair.  Thank you Van, Hai and crew.

Our kitchen sink has been backed up for months. I began making my way through yelp in search of a specialized plumber and was put in contact with Bunnies plumbing. Adhemar, responded to all of my questions was very patient with me. When he came out to inspect the plumbing issue he was straight forward and explained everything so I could understand. Unfortunately, the plumbing issue wasn't fixed because it requires a second visit. I definitely recommend Bunnies plumbing.

I have used Shawn's Handyman plumbing service many times over the past year.  He came highly recommended from a friend and I have never been disappointed.  He is very honest and explains exactly what he is going to do up front.  He also guarantees his work and even came back free of charge when my toilet kept running after we thought it had been fixed.  I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing service as he has integrity and delivers high quality service!

Charles is professional and very responsive. I had a leaky single handle shower valve. Another plumber solution was to replace the entire valve assembly by cutting the pipes around it. Very $$$. Charles came in, diagnosed the problem correctly as the back end of the valve assembly, replaced it and bingo, problem solved.
