I requested a quote for water heater maintenance on Yelp and got a response from Jose right away. At first I was scheduled for the following day, but Freddy was finishing a job in my area so he was able to come to my house the same day. I found both Jose and Freddy to be friendly and easy to communicate with. My project was not very complicated -- just a regular flush of the system -- but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for a different project.

Eddie is my hero.  He has saved me from plumbing hell on more than one occasion.  He has worked on my home for more than 10 years, doing the big jobs (installing a cleanout drain) and the small (changing the handle on a toilet that wouldn't stop running). Today we had a major hot water leak under the house.  Eddie not only got someone to repair the leak within an hour but also set up the remediation company to deal with significant cleanup and damage. He is reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.  Better than that, he is a nice guy with a good heart.

The clouds parted, the sun shined and A-1 Rooter & Plumbing came to save the day.

Max is beyond amazing. I was put through hell by what seemed like a simple clogged toilet / sump pump.  Advised to get a hydro-jet, I set-up appointments with 2 hydro-jetters, found on Yelp. One didn't show; the other called at the end of the 4 hour window to say they were just picking up the hydro-jet and on the way.

Max responded to my request for a quote right away with humor and sympathy. He arrived exactly when agreed. Solved the problem, which was NOT a clog but an unplugged sump pump.  I had him look at other stuff inside my house.

He's a gem, a keeper.  I recommend A-1: reliable, not overly priced, honest.  What more can you ask for?

Daniel S is awesome. He came in and quickly diagnosed, and fixed our clog. I was not aware of the difficulty snaking a second floor apartment with P-trap plumbing in the kitchen.

In addition, he showed compassion given my mom's health problems.

We were done, then I remembered to have him check the dishwasher. Immediately, there was a problem. He figured out the issue and repaired it right away.

I was expecting to get a big extra charge. He said it was covered.

Don't bother wasting your time and money with other plumbers. Both Charlie and Luis have been to our house for several issues and they are always very professional, honest, and are reasonably priced. They are also very respectful and make it a point to wear booties every time they enter the house and always clean up after the job. Most recently Luis was here and he couldn't be any kinder, faster, or more efficient.

About a month ago I called Charlie for some drain issues and he was unfortunately booked so I resorted using another plumber who was available the same day. This other plumber was not only twice the price but he didn't do the best clean up job or wear booties inside the house. After he left I had to clean up gunk that splattered after he snaked the drain. Not the most fun thing to do. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and will never use another plumber, even if I have to wait a day. The experience was like night and day.

Honest service people are a rarity! Alberto does not disappoint! He is honest, on time and efficient!

Alberto wasted no time getting to work on my kitchen faucet and drain and bathroom sink drain and faucets. After completing the work he cleaned up. I have had plumbers leave a mess bigger than when they arrived...NOT ALBERTO!

Alberto cares about his work and ot shows. He would not leave until he fully snaked one of my drains! That extra care tells me it is more than money, he protects his reputation!

Chris showed up on time after he call me 30min courtesy call. He made sure my plumbing issue was resolved very carefully, testing all the faucets in my house before he left. I will definitely call back Ace plumbing next time I have an plumbing issue.

I used Rockstar Plumbing yesterday for a clogged drain. They did a great job and I'd definitely use them again.

I've gone through many plumbers and was hoping to find a new one. Luckily I have stumbled upon New Pro Plumbing. Our Dishwasher got clogged up and we tried to trouble shoot it by ourselves since it didn't work out, we called in. Miguel was really attentive and took the time to trouble shoot the problem we had. He also took the time to test out what really was the issue. He also explained everything that was wrong and how to prevent future issues. We highly recommend calling Miguel! Thank you!

They were great! I had been waiting almost a week for the plumber originally assigned by my home warranty. When that company left me in the lurch, I called my warranty and they called Hermes and got me an appointment within hours for my leaking toilet. These guys were great, fixed the issue, educated me on what was going on, wore masks and even coverings on their shoes. I'll definitely request them in the future should I need a plumber.

I had a water leak in my tub -so I called Rapid Action Rooter and Mandel came the next day. It did not take him very long to finish the job. He was very nice and professional.

Rocket Plumbing is simply the best! I called them in the middle of week for a Saturday appointment and they were able to accommodate our schedule. Sam came out to take a look at my tenant's kitchen sink and took care of the problem quickly. What more can I say? He was courteous and was very professional. Will definitely use these guys again! UPDATE: Had another issue earlier today. I called Rocket back and they penciled me in on a Friday afternoon with no problem. Chris kept in touch with me through the whole process, was professional, courteous and took care of the bathroom sink without any issues. Thanks Chris, and thanks again Rocket Plumbing.

**update**  NOTHING WAS COMMUNICATED!! YOU WERE NOT EVEN THERE, AND ARE ONLY ASSUMING THEY COMMUNICATED.  YOU ARE CORRECT THE INVOICE WAS PAID AT A LATER TIME, BUT ONLY BECAUSE YOUR WORKERS ASKEDNUS FOR OUR CREDIT CARD INFO AFTER THEY MADE THE HOLE IN THE WALL , AND SAID THE CARD WOULD BE CHARGE.   We had a leak in our bathroom and we figured it out where the leak was coming from.  The workers came as they advised, they were shown to the  restroom to inspect, and told us that we needed an access panel (we didn't have one) but before any further updates/explanations they went ahead and broke out some drywall lower to the floor (not where the panel access door would go). It was not a small section it was pretty big.  They left to home depot they got the access panel, and new faucets, which we only found out after they came back because all they said was we will return and they did a few hours later.  

Once the access panel was complete I said, well you can't leave me that mess you made, and at that time they said, oh we don't do drywall, umm ok but you were quick to destroy my drywall and not even think to ask if it was ok, or to explain what the process was before you destroyed my wall.   It definitely was lesson learned, and an expensive one ($1200) not to mention now I have to find someone to come and make it right.  Now that I am writing this review, I am thinking they didn't ask for permission to destroy my wall, nor advise us of what they were going to do.

Just had Zorro out again to put in new faucets on our sinks. He was, again, professional and quick and easy to contact about follow-up. After months of dripping sinks, we've now got great new fixtures. We've looked for someone we can depend on for a long time. I'm really glad we found them.

I called 3 plumbers for bids 2 showed me pipes rusted though claimed that was the problem. They were old pipes pipes they were very tricky their bids were both over $3000. (My zip code didn't help). Flood bothers pointed this out I'm not use too such honesty like the old days. They repaired my problem for less than $500. Guys I've found a plumber now I need a good electrician & Carpenter. I really was blown away I'm so use to everyone just going for the 1 time rip off & not caring about repeat business & future word of mouth. I'm happy to leave this recommendation we need more people like this

Our toilet was clogged this morning, but we just didn't have time to address the issue before we left for work. After work I came home to our 7th floor loft and began calling plumbing businesses. I was denied services from 5 different businesses because they wouldn't work past the 3rd floor, they didn't work in DTLA after dark, or because I would get charged a $300 service fee for living in DTLA; all contradicting their advertisements. At the end of my list was 911 Plumbing Services. Greg answered the phone and was so polite as he heard me out and worked with me. He was honest about the price-- it was a little expensive, but it was an emergency. He kept me updated about the plumber's arrival and what I could expect. When the plumber, another Greg, did arrive he was also polite. He went straight to work and fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. He explained the problem and gave some recommendations.

Connie was so great! She helped us with our electric water heater and was able to provide us with information and resources on how to fix our water heater. She's definitely a professional and trustworthy!
