We got quotes from 3 of the top-rated water heater installers on Yelp.  Bought the heater from Lowes and negotiated a good price with Rishon.  

I've had several water heaters replaced over the years.  This was a great job with a fair price, and no surprises.

These guys are the real deal. They arrived on short notice and installed gas lines in our new pizza shop quickly. Honest and hard workers. Look forward to working with them in the future!

After reading all of the positive posts, I called these guys. Like one of the earlier posts, I hope My Plumbing Doctor isn't getting too busy from Yelp referrals. There's no question that this company is run extremely well and that honesty and fairness are a critical part of their DNA. After a few reschedules (I was not in a mode of immediate need) they showed up and did the job. Clean, considerate, polite and willing to answer any questions. The job required crawling under the house - very little clearance - and using some sort of pressurized air bag to unblock the kitchen drain. This, after snaking didn't work. My Plumbing Doctor's biggest problem is going to be meeting demand.

Amazing guy. Didn't charge me a cent. Here's the story: We had 10 people coming to our house for an event and I heard one of the toilets gurgling. That's usually a sign that the line is backed up and black grossness is about to come oozing from the tub and drain. I called Max, who answered the phone on one ring, told me his whereabouts and ETA and was here in less than an hour. He came, sniffed around, checked various drains, opened the cleanout valve, flushed toilets, sniffed some more, waited, watched, and concluded that the line was clean and that it was just an air bubble in the toilet and that all was well. He didn't charge me anything. I love when that happens. Thanks Max. Will call you again when the s*#t really starts to fly.

When we first booked our Flood Brothers appointment, we got a call about an hour before arrival saying they would need to reschedule for another day, they had accidentally double booked. I was obviously frustrated, but the office was apologetic and kind and rescheduled for as soon as they could.

When the appointment did take place, Efrain was professional, kind and got the job done! He showed up on time and finished the work quickly and efficiently. All the while, taking extra care not to track any dirt into the house.

If I have another plumbing issue, I will definitely call Flood Brothers for help.

Honestly, if you live in or anywhere near the west side in L.A. and you need a plumber, call Saucedo. Alberto is great guy and a hands-on owner who really knows his stuff.  The price he quoted was more than fair (far less than I was quoted by one big plumbing company...you know the one), and the actual price ended up being on the low end. Also -- and this shouldn't be a big deal but of course it is -- they actually showed up exactly when they said they would! I know, crazy! Also unlike the bigger companies, they  didn't try to upsell me whatsoever. Great company, great owner, great experience overall.

I needed a leaking angle stop repaired under my kitchen sink on short notice in order to install a new dishwasher. I called countless plumbers and didn't hear back from many of them. Chris called me back within 30 minutes on a Saturday. He said he was booked for the weekend, but could come out first thing Monday morning. Chris was on time, nice, quick, professional, and knowledgeable. I was happy with the service and would definitely use this company again. Darcy was great with scheduling and communication as well! Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue! Sal has been to our property for repairs big and small over the course of the last year. Just wanted to say that we're always happy with his service and appreciate that he always answers the call and can usually get here very quickly! Will continue to call Sal for all our plumbing problems!

I don't have many complaints about the service, work, or experience I had with New Pro. Miguel was very friendly, was able to come out and help same day, and was respectful while in our space.

The reason I am giving a 3 star rating is because the prices were significantly inflated. I believe he raised prices knowing that a company was paying for it and that I, a 25 year old woman, wouldn't question his prices. Because of the situation we were in I just approved the price because I needed the leak fixed asap in order to not leave our tenants stuck with no kitchen use.

I then had him do a sink replacement (I bought the sink already) and he charged me $599 just to install it. I paid begrudgingly since I already awarded him the job. Then I had him quote a bidet hose switch out and he wanted to charge me $1549!! At this point I was angry at the audacity. I had another plumber bid the job and told him what New Pro was charging and his mouth dropped and he laughed... hard! He said he understands raising prices a bit to make money off of the job but said he does not even see how someone can get away with what they were. He bought the parts for me, and replaced 2 of the hoses for $550 total.

Shortly after purchasing a new home the surprises of homeownership started trickling in. One major issue I came across was my plumming. I contacted Victor  who quickly responded and got down to the ROOT of the problem. I mean literally he found out my back up was being caused by roots in my plumming. He used his Hydrojet system to quickly get rid of all the roots in my plumming. Not to mention as soon as I found out what the issue was I went to google to find out what such a service cost. Victor hands down washed the competition away with his pricing. He also discovered a few issues with my kitchen sink (previous owners had flushed paint down the pipes smh!) which he took care. Thank you Victor will definitely recommend and use again.

My water heater recently sprung a leak and had to be replaced. I reached out to Hermès plumbing in order to have my water heater replaced. They were able to come over immediately and assess the issue. They were able to get me up and running with a brand new 40 gallon water heater within just a few hours. The two technicians that completed the job were brothers. They were both very professional and respectful of my home. Both of them wore a mask and used paper shoe covers when walking through my home. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in need if you're looking for fast, friendly and expert service. I'll definitely use them again if any other issues arise.

We had a clogged outdoor drain that other plumbing companies either could not unclog, or wanted to charge over $1000 to hydro-jet.  I contacted Mandel and he quoted a reasonable price and sent his guys out the following morning.  They use hydro-jets to clear out the mud and roots causing the problem, and then ran a camera through the pipe at no extra charge to show me the cleared pipe.  Prompt, on-time, professional, and they got the job done.  Highly recommend!

My tankless water heater was having issues igniting (pilot problem, gas flow). I called, got a call back from Chris, who tried to identify the problem over the phone. After I provided some pictures, he called me back promptly to troubleshoot the issue and my hot water was back on in no time. I easily saved a couple hundred bucks so this is the least I could do! If the problem arises again, I'll be sure to call Rocket again.

A guy named Justin helped me a lot and said some carbon monoxide was dripping three I'll have to get it fixed but the price was very high I'll get ahold of Justin tomorrow. Super nice, very professional, only my brother doesn't want to fix it he's not in the condo though but I live here I'll get ahold of another heating and air vomiting man and hear what he has to say

Unfortunately none of them deserve a five star review on yelp - most would be lucky to get 1 star

But Z & H  gets a 5 star review because they have earned our trust

My family and I came back from a long Memorial weekend getaway only to find that a pipe broke and our entire house was flooded.  With wet towels in one hand and my phone in the other we searched for a flood restoration company and began vetting them using Yelp.com (thank you Yelp!).  We found Flood Brothers, thankfully!!!  

Within an hour, JERRY came out to assess the damage and take control.  In the span of 6 days (the time it took to completely dry the floors), JERRY was there everyday ensuring that what was once wet was now dry.  He made sure that the cleanup was done quickly and effectively.

IMPORTANT PART:   Not only did JERRY (and his crew) handle the entire cleanup with complete professionalism and speed -- JERRY went above and beyond what he was paid to do and checked my water pressure and water systems in the house to ensure that no future damage would occur.  

Furthermore, JERRY had such a calming, reassuring attitude that really put myself and my wife's minds at ease.  He worked with us with such sensitivity and compassion for our situation, which you wouldn't really expect from someone who sees this day in and day out.  We can't speak highly enough of Flood Brothers and especially JERRY.  Thank you guys, truly, thank you.  You made a horrible nightmare flood situation that much more tolerable.  We are truly appreciative of you!

Thomas came out to the house today to fix our clogged kitchen drain. He took the time to explain the issue and to let us know about future issues that may come up with out 1960s house. Reliable and responsive. Would recommend to family and friends.

Needed a plumber to clear a drain. I found 911 plumbing online and am glad I did. They came out fairly quickly (next day) and came when they said they would. Kathy was great with communication and helping ensure my tenants schedule (Zoom!) was accommodated.  I almost didn't give 5 stars because I was told our plumber would have more PPE and just showed up with a cloth mask.  I was told he'd have booties and gloves, etc.  But all in all, took care of the drain quickly and for a reasonable price.  I'd use them again.

I can't say enough good stuff about this company, and I've never even hired them :)  I called American Drain Works a few days ago hoping I could get some advice on a plumbing job gone wrong.  I had been given a very high bill from another plumber on a job for which I never received an estimate at all prior to being billed.  Connie at ADW was astounding.  Even though I wasn't a customer, she literally stayed on the phone with me for over ten minutes going over in minute detail everything I needed to know to be an informed consumer. She helped me understand the invoice I had been given by the other company, and explained to me at length what each item meant and how much I should normally be charged. She put me at ease instantly and felt more like a long time family friend than a stranger I had just called. Even after we got off the phone she replied to several texts I sent, taking valuable time out of her busy schedule to help me. If this is how ADW acts with complete strangers, I can only imagine how incredible they must be to actually do business with.  Five stars.  I cannot recommend them enough!
