My water heater repair request was sent to 5 service providers randomly by Yelp, and JM plumbing was one of the three responded within an hour. Although their quote was not the cheapest and they had no reviews in Yelp, but I was convinced they were the best technician for the job because how sincere and knowledgeable they showed over the conversation. I did not regret my choice. JM was very responsive to requests and flexible on schedule. They got job done professionally.

I called these people today to get a price on replacing a toilet in my guest bathroom, I should have had them replace it a few years back when they replaced the Master bathroom and middle bathroom toilets and they did a great job.... BUT , yes but...

Today I called and said I needed to have a toilet replaced how much would it cost and that I used them before a few years ago for the other toilets in my house and the girl sounded confused....  So I asked again how much do you charge for a toilet remove and replace and she said I have to check with my boss and see what he says, so I give her my number and 2 hours later I haven't heard back... so I call back and know I think a different person tells me it 250.00 ( WOW ) 2 x what other people are telling me, so much for trying to use the same place that did a good job a few years ago..

Update: I did get a ( few ) calls back later today, about my updated yelp review, but they said due to some mix up the price should have been 215.00 for the quoted job price and that they didn't know I was a prior customer from 2015.. So they would offer/honor me that price..  I said thanks but.. NO

Thanks for updated / offer and calls back people, but if you can't call people back when they are waiting on you and then tell them a price more then double from the 1st time I used you, your not a place I want to deal with. I thank the manager for trying to fix things, and I am sure your plumbers do great work, but your office people need to have the talk about being the face of the company..  Its little things like this that make people walk away...

Great experience with Mark. The communication was top-notch, he arrived in the given timeframe, was a breeze to work with, took the time to explain the issue to me. While at it, he also fixed another tap that was loose. I'd do business with them again without a doubt.

Free estimate included pipe camera in 2 directions to inspect entire sewer system, one from roof vent; finding buried clean-out location; entering 12 clearance crawl space to scope out best repair method.  Jose took almost a full 2 hours for the estimate, I couldn't not pay him for that much effort and honesty in scoping the job.  Got us scheduled for 4 days out, which ended up being fine.

Crew of two was great... boot covers, tyvek overalls for entering crawlspace with muddy leak area.  Did a full-20 foot connection replacement under the house, including digging down to the existing pipes.  Tracked zero dirt through the house, even having to move old cast iron pipe pieces up and down hallway.  Very efficient, only 2 hours total sewer off-line time.  We were thrilled with everything about their service.  Great close-in, clean-up, haul-away.

Thank you 5 Star Plumbing for coming to the rescue when my shower got clogged! As a woman with long hair, it's inevitable for the drain to clog from time to time. I was having visitors come over and needed to have this situation fixed ASAP! I called 5 Star Plumbing and they gave me a reasonable quote and were able to come super fast! They did a great job and offered tips on how to prevent future clogs. Thanks for the fast service and well trained staff!

Such a great experience! Paul showed up and did everything I needed while injured! So hard to find good, honest trustworthy people that don't take advantage of you. Very grateful!

I should have taken the day off, and watched the work being done. They did a decent job mounting and framing the front door, so I thought they could mount and frame the bathroom door, and stain the front door frame.

I was wrong. The top edges of the bathroom door frame don't line up. They were filled with some sort of caulk to join the edges, which failed on the right side. (See photos.) The wrong nails were used, so the nail heads stick out, even after a couple of coats of paint.

The front door frame was stained with a transparent deck stain, instead of the same wood stain that was used for the front door. The numbers printed on the wood are still visible (See photos.)

I'm giving three stars because they came on time and did some good work, but also did some very sloppy work that will need to be redone.

I purposed a special from Aggies list for $79.00 towards  $200.00 plumbing services. David and Ernie show up .They were up front and honest about the problems .They were very restful and professional within my house .The even did a couple of extra things because they right there. They left to go get parts and returned in a reasonable period of time .They did find another problem and explain that they were expected someplace else so they sent someone else out to fix it  the second problem. He arrived in a short period of time and fix the problem. Nice and friendly and professional. I so appreciate honest clean professionals . I would highly recommend this company. Thank you !

Thank you, Shane!  Friendly, fast service at a great price.  Shane came out on his day off to help me get my bathroom draining again.  Got here in less than 15 minutes, and was done and gone in under an hour.

Francisco responded quickly and determined the issue going on at my parents home. He came back the following day ( a Sunday) with all a new toilet and installed it.
I was very satisfied with his explanation and thoroughness in determining the issue.

The 1 star reviews are real.   They will rip you off.

We contacted Mike Counsil plumbing to provide an estimate for replacing a thermostatic shower valve that was leaking.  I did my research beforehand and knew the job would likely take about 1 hour.    

When they provided an estimate of $1100  for the work, I was astounded.   When I asked how 1 hour's worth of work could cost $1100, they didn't disagree with me on how long it would take, but simply said that is what they charge.  

Needless to say, I went with another plumber, who charged me $200 and surprise, surprise, he completed the work in  1 hour.

I requested a quote on Yelp clearly indicating that I need a faucet and hot water tap system installed. I even included pictures so there would be no issue with knowing the scope of work. This guy schedules me out a few days and then on the day of he doesn't show up in the timeframe given. When I call him his excuse is that he lost my message. Then when he does actually show up he goes oh I can't install the faucet, you'll have to get someone else to do that. A true plumber can do this type of work and I was up front with all of the information so I was very disappointed. Beware with this company, especially if you get a competitive quote, they might just end up wasting your time.

Aaron's Plumbing and Rooter responded very quickly to my request for services through Yelp. After assessing the problem Roy, the Technician, was able to provide a quote with a detailed explanation of the work that needed to be done. With a quick call to their office, I was able to schedule the services and have them start the following day. The work (sewer pipes replacement) was completed in 3 days and in accordance to the quoted amount. Aaron, the owner, was directly involved in the work. He and his crew were always very polite and did their best to finish the repairs efficiently and without delay.

Pablo showed up on time and provided an estimate before starting work. He was knowledgable and was able to quickly determine what needed to be done. Pricing was what I was advised it would be when I scheduled the appointment. No trip charges - just labor to fix my plumbing. I would recommend  this company to others in need.  Ask for Pablo!
