I was dreading re-piping to copper a duplex. I got several quotes and Julio was the most knowledgeable and professional. He actually went under house to look and checked main line feed to home. Pricing was great too. The job could not have gone smoother. One day a team descended on duplex and did the re-pipe. I set up a time in advance and they were there the day I needed them. They took all the old pipe out and did a good job of cleaning up. They were very coordinated and punctual with all inspections to get the final in a timely manner. Their sheetrock tapers repaired all walls opened up (small holes) so honestly, you could not see at all where the patch was. And the office support person was an awesome communicator. I have a lot of experience in construction and I know a quality team when I see it.

George was responsive, clear, honest, and hard-working. When my dishwasher was leaking he showed up fast, fixed the problem, and talked me through the rest of the water damage. When my sewer pipe was blocked, he responded quickly with a rotor and camera to show me what happened, clear the blockage, and explain what to look out for in the future. I'm working with him on quotes for larger projects. Great to have a reliable plumber.

Situation: A few years back we remodeled our upstairs guest bathroom which included tiling the bathtub shower area. We also purchased new fixtures to replace the old ones. As we neared completion of the tiling we realized the existing copper pipe feeding bathtub spout was too short. We called in a plumber to extend the half-inch copper pipe. After he finished we tiled in the enclosure.
Fast forward to this weekend: while a guest was showering we noticed water dripping into the downstairs entryway closet. I removed the fixtures and one piece of tile and discovered that a section of the copper pipe was never soldered in place. This section of pipe was about 16 inches long and had one 90° bend. One end protruded through a hole drilled through a tile that was still in place. The other end of the pipe is connected to a main junction and valve. The only way to repair or replace the section of pipe would involve cutting as there was not enough room to unscrew any of the connections. The length of pipe protruding through the tile had to be exact in order to fit the bathtub spout.
This problem was further complicated by a number of factors: A tight working space coupled with the fact that the pipe in question wound its way around the supply line pipes and my reluctance to tear out anymore tile made it impossible for me to attempt any do-it-yourself plumbing repairs.
Solution: This morning I used Yelp to select a plumber. Based on what I read, I chose Plumbing Solutions and gave them a call. After speaking with Joel, (who answered on the second ring) he agreed to come out today . He gave me a timeframe and told me he would call 30 minutes before his arrival. Within two hours, he called and 22 minutes later Joel and Hector came to my door and I showed them the problem.
Their written quote specifies a service and pricing structure broken out into five classes. The most minor repairs are Class 1 while the most complex jobs fall under Class 5. Each class has a list of the various services and repairs applicable to that class. Upon review I figured my problem was a Class 3 or perhaps a Class 4.
Joel told me my problem was actually just a Class 2: $220.00.
Joel clearly explained what he would do, he and Hector made repairs to the existing pipe and reassembled everything within 30 minutes.
Moreover, these repairs were done without the need to damage or remove any tiling.
Outcome: Joel and Hector were very professional and organized. I was very gratified and relieved to see what appeared to be a potential catastrophe averted with very thorough and competent repair.
So my week is starting out pretty good. I needed a plumber now, and got one almost immediately. They did a great job for the quoted price. I highly recommend Plumbing Solutions and would call them again without hesitation.

I had a bathroom sink with a minor leak, and called Wilmar to take a look. 2 plumbers came, they speak english, but didn't seem to speak fluently. but could communicate well enough. Did they fix the leak? Yes. They replaced the pop up assembly and applied silicone to the faucet. However, my sink is Venetian bronze and the replacement pop up assembly is chrome; they don't match and it looks ugly. The silicone applied is something you cannot see from afar, but notice if you inspect the faucet and countertop surface, and it's kinda ugly. I would hire a different plumber if I had a problem in the future.

What a super good company. Thank you Jason for coming over and making sure everything was A OK after Stevie installed the system. Your company rocks!

Connor came over to our place and was immediately able to diagnose the issue with the clog in the kitchen sink that we were struggling with for almost a week! He was very communicative and explained to us what went wrong and what options we have in the case that the same issue happened again. I would highly recommend the San Francisco Plumbing Company and would not hesitate to call then again for any plumbing issues that I have again.

Scheduling disaster...
Scheduled an appointment for an estimate last Thur for this Monday... Then got a call from them late Friday with a suggestion that a Sat time slot is available. I accepted. On Sat they started calling at 7am (and a few times after) to confirm the appointment again, because they were not sure if it's correct (looks like they still kept Monday appt record). I didn't have my phone around to respond, so they cancelled it..
Then there was an attempt to move during Sat, they couldn't make it. Then they scheduled for Sun morning. Nobody showed up, no calls.
And now they're calling me on Monday morning to confirm if i still need my old appointment..
I appreciate proactive calls, but if you're not keeping your records properly and if one person in your call center has no idea what another just did, it doesn't make things better.
If it's so bad just to do an estimate, i would rather go with another company.

Julio was remarkable! He replaced my water softener and in doing so showed a creativity and ingenuity to complete the job well. I purchased a smaller than previous unit and the shorter height caused a problem with the connectors. The longest (24) pipes were too short to reach the new unit. The picture shows how he solved the issue. I was able to save money and avoid the trouble of having to return the new unit for a larger one that I don't need.

Vlad was the first to respond when I did a Yelp request for quote to a different plumbers in the area. He was here in an hour! His rate was lower than most and he identified and fixed the problem very quickly within his minimum quoted range. Excellent service, good pricing, professional and fast. I will call Vlad again when I have another plumbing issue.

We had an 8 year old Takagi tankless water heater go out on us (hard water buildup). Good luck finding a company to service Takagi (the Takagi website is not current, most of the plumbers I called on that list either didn't even call me back or didn't service Takagi). After reading Yelp review on Adam (and how he helped another Yelper with his Takagi water heater), I called Adam. I had to leave 3 messages before he called me back (caught him at a busy time). That being said, once he engaged, he did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it. He showed up at the time he said (not a 2-4 hour window). I haven't even met him in person and coordinated all of this with him via phone while on vacation. He was honest and gave it to me straight. He could have repaired it and saved me some $ but he gave me his opinion as to why he would recommend replacing and a soliton for the hard water problem (filter). In the end, I took his recommendation. I would recommend him highly and just suggest you be persistent if he doesn't call back.

Rosendo arrived early! He was friendly and helpful. He looked at the job, and went to work. Needed to cap a pipe that had no threading. 15 minutes and it was solved.

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
