My sink has been clogged for over 3 weeks, and I tried a lot of things to fix this. Draino didn't do it, called another plumber and they companies snake broke in the pipes. I was so fed up with this situation, and luckily we found them through a referral. My goodness, they are punctual, polite, bilingual, and patient with everything, took there time to explain what the issue was and how they manage to fix it. I was floored with how fast they fixed the issue. Would use again and would gladly recommend them to everyone.

Couldn't be better!
Nick fixed and/or diagnosed almost 10 different issues while in the house, ranging from handyman to plumbing to electrical. The best part about hiring him are his license in both electrical and plumbing (for depth of knowledge and my peace of mind) and the fact that he came incredibly prepared, with spare/replacement parts of common items like screws of various specifications and electrical outlets, as well as long tool to install bulbs at 20' height - in his incredibly well equipped truck. In the past when I called handymen, I always wished they could be a 'one stop shop' with the knowledge and tools/parts to fix almost anything - which I could never quite get - this is what you get if you call Nick since he's an excellent general contractor.
Super happy that the house is back up to smoothly running thanks to Nick being at the top of his craft.
Of course, he was also punctual, professional, friendly, and easy to work with, and very honest and fair with pricing, even though its understandably bit on the higher side compared to a less skilled handyman. You get what you pay for!

Russell at Simply Green is simply the best! They were fast, clean, and professional. Not only was the quote reasonable, but they were on time and finished quickly. Thanks Russell!

It was an emergency! My neighbor's waste water was being back-flowed into my kitchen and it was flooding!! We turned off all the water in the condo building, everyone had no water, I called a dozen plumbing places and they were all booked and everyone could not come out until the next afternoon!! I went down the list, called Kevin, he came out 30 mins later, unclogged, talked to my neighbors, explained everything, clean up my kitchen, and gave me a very reasonable price!! I can't believe I found him, thank you Kevin!!

Had a great experience just like everyone else it seems. The guy came out on time (sorry, his name escapes me) and was so easy going and knowledgeable. I called them out to assess some issues in my crawlspace and saved me a ton of money by seeing the simple cause of an otherwise complicated problem. I will happily call them out next time I have an issue.

Quick and clear communication! They were able to come out in a timely manner to help us with some plumbing issues during our bathroom remodel. They worked fast, kept things clean, and were courteous. We'll be using them again in the future for our plumbing needs.

Our sewage was leaking and clogged for about two days. He came and fixed it less than then an hour on top of the that he puts a camera down to show me what the problem was and how the root of the tree was part of the the issue. I would highly recommend this company. Luis was amazing and very helpful plus very professional. Best plumbing experience I have ever had.Responded in less than ten minutes on yelp which was awesome.

The only reason I gave him 1 star is because I cant give him a zero. Asyl is big big liar and cheater who was never honest with us even a single day. He cheated us with 6500$. I need to give the complete details of what happened to us in the 3 weeks of Nov to believe me. I have the messages/conversations as a proof for all the below.
1) Oct 19 - I met him to get an estimate for a complete kitchen and floor remodel for our newly bought house. I told him the house should be ready by Nov 19 for us to move in on Nov 20.
2) Oct 24 - I confirmed to him that I will give him the job. He was not the cheapest but I trusted him. He told me the job can be done in 13-17 days.
3) Oct 29 and Oct 30 - Two college kids came home and started the demo.
4) Nov 03 to Nov 14 - No one came half the days and on remaining days 1 or 2 college kids will come to do the flooring. I kept asking Asyl about the delay and he kept promising me that he will complete the job by Nov 19 as he will put 4 people during the last week which never happenned.
5) Nov 15 - Only one person came for job. Only half the flooring was done and no kitchen work. Me and my wife asked about this but he still lied to us that kitchen installation is only 3 hrs job and he can do it easily before 19th.
6) Nov 17 - 10pm in the night he moved the first cabinet from garage to the kitchen. He called me and asked me to come to the house and says that the drain system is not good and so he needs to break two cabinets and make big holes for the drain pipe in the cabinets. My wife got so upset and couldn't control her tears for the way he lied to us. After going back and forth for long, at 1.30am in the night we decided to replace him with someone else for kitchen and asked him to at least complete the flooring.
7) Nov 18 - We couldn't sleep the whole night and next day morning I called 2 other contractors to come on the same day for kitchen estimate. My neighbor who had good experience in remodeling also came. All three of them told us that it's a sloppy, bad job done for flooring. Everything was disconnected, no planning, unnecessary cuts and so the flooring should be redone completely. We were heartbroken to hear that. Asyl took 3 weeks only for half the house flooring and that too a bad job.
Asyl came later that day. For any questions we ask him abt flooring he said he know about it already and planning to change it. We got so upset and asked him to leave the house immediately. We never wanted to see him again.
Because of all this confusion, we had to cancel the function/party. Our new house happiness was ruined because of him.
So please don't choose him for any job just because of way he lies to everyone with no care for their feelings. He took 6500$ from us and just did the demo. He cheated us on the money and both our planning, happiness got completely ruined because of him.

On a Thursday night, our shower handle stopped working -- while the faucet was on! We had to shut off the water to the entire house to stop the bathtub from overflowing. The handle had gotten slightly harder to use over the previous couple of nights but didn't think it was noteworthy until we couldn't turn the water off.
I called a plumbing service and it took them over 30 minutes to call back and say they couldn't come out. Then I called 5 of the top plumbing services in the Palo Alto area. Art was the only person who answered. He came out the same night and installed a replacement part. We were able to turn our water back on. Then he came back and performed follow up work to prevent the original issue from resurfacing over time. Super friendly, communicated clearly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Art both in emergencies (higher rate outside of normal hours, obviously) and for regular repairs.

We needed to change out two bathroom faucets that had failed. Palo Alto Plumbing sent Phillip to put in the new fixtures that we had bought. We were so pleased with his work! He was quick, professional, double checked all of his work and cleaned up after himself. We highly recommend PA Plumbing and will use them in the future for all of our plumbing needs.

I was in need of a plumber to fix a broken sink drain and replace my laundry hookups and was referred to Josh Fisher. We called him this morning and he was here by this afternoon! His pricing was fair and he was incredibly respectful and professional. So glad that I found Fisher Plumbing and I will definitely use them in the future!

I cannot recommend them highly enough! Responded promptly, came out quickly and made the necessary repairs to our water heater without charging a fortune. Will absolutely refer them to anyone in need of a quality plumber!!

Had to use their service on a weekend. The response was fast and the electrician efficient and friendly. I would have given them a 5 star for that.
But the company's price is way too high. $249 extra for getting service on a weekend (that's ok as I understand it's a weekend), but the job itself (only took 20 minutes, including inspecting the problem) was almost $400. That's the most expensive electrician service I have ever had -- The final price was $32 per minute!!!
To give a reference point, I had an electrician from another company working on a bathroom fan a month ago. Took him over an hour (had to go to the attic) and only charged me $150.
In response to Tricia's comments: Three outlets in one area of our house didn't work. The electrician didn't need to do your 53 point inspection. He went directly to the electrical panel. There were not even 53 wires to check in the panel. Let me add the 4 screws, they still don't add up to 53 points. It's common sense that if the electrician only needs to work in one area to solve the problem, why should he go through your so-called 53 points?

I'll be using Eldridge & Sons again. My house is a rental, and communicating from afar can be tough. You have to trust the plumber. I called Nick on a Saturday, and he picked-up. It was a non-emergency issue (a slow leak under the bathroom sink), but he got to the house on Monday. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it right away -- the p-trap had a hole in it. Nick seems fair and honest. Thanks Yelp for the informative reviews.

I can't speak for their actual work, although I think we're very lucky not to have used them. As a 4-unit condo we have to get multiple estimates for a leak. One of the owners called 24/7 Rooter & Plumbing and another plumber. The other plumber came out and looked into the leak and wrote up an estimate for free. 24/7 wanted $135 to trace the source (hmmmm, lightwell with standing water and clogged drain with leak directly underneath, found it for ya!). Day 1, New Year's Eve: they called at 10:30am to change the window of time from 11am-1pm to 3-5pm after having been told that 2pm was the latest I would be available. Rescheduled to New Year's Day 11am-1pm. They were specifically asked if they charged extra for coming out on a holiday. Nope, in fact, no charge at all other than the $135 fee that would be charged regardless of whether we knew the source of the leak or not. Day 2: Waited during the 11am-1pm window. At 12:30 we called to see if they were on their way and were told we had cancelled the call at 10:30am. Huh?!? They want to reschedule to 2-4pm that day. Oh, and they also charge a $65 dispatch fee on top of the $135 estimate. We decided to cancel entirely and call another company. Soooo, I wasted 4 hours for a plumber that never showed up over a 2 day holiday. And because the lightwell is only accessible via the bathtub in my unit, I also had to remove the curtain, piles of bottles, window and screen (in 50 degree weather) for all that time. Also had to keep the animals locked up, especially since the cat already figured out that the window was access to a way out - wait, wet, ew, let's jump back in and get the apartment muddy. I guess 24/7 gets one star for being available on a holiday...

I have been using Thomas Plumbing for a while for all of my heating and plumbing needs. Dave Thomas and his team are very knowledgeable and recommend what is needed and no more. They have done some complicated HVAC work for me, fixed my heater and performed the more mundane work of unclogging pipes. Great to work with them!

They quoted me $450 for seismic strapping of a water heater.
Another plummer, Marc Morrow, did the job for $100.
I don't know what they were thinking, I guess they thought I must be some kind of idiot to accept that quote.
