We needed to replace a 15-yr-old kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and NG was recommended by our next-door neighbor. They didn't disappoint! They made an appointment within 24 hours and were right on time. The old piping was a jigsaw of twists and turns and Juan cleaned that all up to install the new disposal. Great guys, very responsive, very clean during the work and when finished! Will use them again soon for our water heater.

Nick repaired the front door and fire door going from the kitchen to the garage in my mom's house.  I submitted a quote request on Yelp to 4-5 handymen, and Nick was the first to respond.  Both doors in my mom's house are quite old and did not close properly.  Nick did an amazing job and gave me options we could take along the way.  When he was done, both doors were completely fixed to my satisfaction.  

Additionally, I asked him for guidance on maintaining the doors and he provided some great tips for me while he was doing the work.  Nick is very friendly and personable as well.  Nick obviously has a broad set of skills and I would highly recommend him for handyman work.  In fact, before he left, I booked time for him to do some work on my house in Pacifica pertaining to evaluation of mold in a wall in one of my bathrooms.    Thanks Nick!

Needed a plumber ASAP as our appliance was being installed and a plumbing issue needed fixing before they could continue.  Called Johnny and he and his brother came within 1.5 hours.  On time also!!!   It wasn't a large job, but it went smooth and as expected and finished within his estimated time.  Very satisfied!

Art's the best. I was in panic mode when my six-year old water heater started leaking water. I did a quick google search, only to find an eHow article describing the steps to DIY-ing. I read  the word solder and got the hell out of there. I'm not what you (or anyone else) would call a 'handyman', so I went down the Yelp list of plumbers, only to find the water heating biz is a task many don't seem too specialized in.

Art of AG Plumbing obliged and  came to inspect and diagnose. He returned next day with the appropriate parts. The total procedure took less than an hour. He was extremely professional and thorough and also took a quick look at my uncooperative kitchen faucet (side problem). Art even followed up with a courtesy call to see if things were working right (which they were) so I would definitely do business with again!

We had a leaky faucet and found the hoses, and everything else was in pretty sad shape.  Ivan came out, replaced the fixture and worked hard to clean up this mess and left us feeling pretty good that we wouldn't have to deal with this again for years to come.  Unfortunately there was still a very small leak that did not manifest itself until we were heavily using the sink.  I called After Hours to explain the situation and sent them some pictures.  Ivan came out the next day and replaced the valves to eliminate any possible causes.  That did the trick.  It is very refreshing to find a company that stands behind their work and responded so promptly.  I will not hesitate to use them again.

A simple call to fix a house A/C system turned into a customer service nightmare. They are so busy apparently because of the location, they do not really care about individual clients. My A/C quit on the hottest day this year so far; the company charges almost $200 an hour for an overtime visit; any visit in a reasonable time frame (when you are not working and can be at home) is considered overtime, weekends included. The tech came as scheduled few days after I called and replaced an air filter which he admitted was ok but as a precaution he changed it, since its only $15. Then he told me that I need to basically replace entire AC system (brand new house so I doubt his advice). His suggestion required another visit for 2 people and many hours of work. I reluctantly agreed since I do not have time to argue and get a second opinion; because the company gives 5 hours window - I asked them to call me before the tech comes. The technician did call me but I missed the call and tried to call him back within 2 minutes. I've been calling him and leaving messages for a week, no answer. Today, of course, I got a hefty bill for all the work done. So result of this ordeal of the service: A/C not fixed, don't know whats wrong with it, no work was done and a huge bill presented. Talking to the girl that answers the general phone line and reasoning with her would cause the bill to multiple, even though she is polite and was really apologetic - but the bottom line is almost no work was performed while expensive and the AC still does not work. My humble advise - find someone who is less busy and can care about getting the job done, instead of extracting money with minimum or no work but so many excuses and apologies.

I was in need of a plumber to fix a broken sink drain and replace my laundry hookups and was referred to Josh Fisher. We called him this morning and he was here by this afternoon! His pricing was fair and he was incredibly respectful and professional. So glad that I found Fisher Plumbing and I will definitely use them in the future!

This company provides creative solutions- we collected 3 estimates before calling out pacific coast.

We were shopping for the best price and our estimate from Eric ended up being a much different bid than the other two electricians because Eric went up in the attic and found that the last electrician took some shortcuts. It was good to know what the condition of our wiring was and worth the 89 dollar evaluation fee to see where we stand.

Most contractors come in, look around for 5 minutes and email a quote. Eric was at our house for over an hour and was able to really lock in all the details and that put my family at ease to know that the work was actually defined before starting work.

Two days later on the scheduled install date we had two technicians arrive on time, tarp our living room and walls, finish work in the exact time frame promised, and even mop our hardwood because a little dust got through the tarp. We didn't even ask they just went and went the extra mile for us.

The lighting looks great, works as promised, and our technician even programmed the smart switches to our phone for us.

Strongly recommending this company. Everyone we met was very courteous, friendly, and great at communicating.

Again, Eldridge and Sons to the rescue.  Our kitchen sink clogged over the holiday and Allan came out today within 2 hours of our call.  Problem solved and for an extremely reasonable price.  Plumbing issues seem to happen to us this time of year, we'll be calling Eldridge & Sons again I'm sure.

Vince replaced the burner on our water heater a couple years ago. The water heater was installed by the previous owner and replacement parts can prove difficult to find. Vince managed to find and install the burner almost instantly. Saved me from a more costly replacement, and two years later and the water heater still works perfectly.

Great experience! They arrived within 90 minutes of my call - even after hours. Steve came at 7:30 p.m. and got the job done. He explained what had happened and ways I could maybe prevent it. The 5 starts is because he stayed and helped me clean the garage and laundry room, which had both been affected by the leak. I was very thankful and appreciate the good work!

My water heater leaked all over the garage and under my house, eeek!  Called Thomas Plumbing and they sent someone out right away, found  the problem and recommended that I get a new water heater.  They did the fix that afternoon.  They were very pleasant to work with and I would recommend calling them for plumbing issues.  I will be calling them again!  Thanks!

Routine service, annual check with these guys who are contractor for one hour service plan. The plan charge is 20 per month. Using a power wrench, the one guy stripped the top cathode bolt and kept going until every speck of rust in the heater was let loose and completely clogged hot water system for house and required immediate replacement of water heater. Expecting two people the next day but only one shows up? Took entire day and 3400 dollars. I was suckered and don't want the same thing to happen to another senior.
