I was looking for a handyman to replace my kitchen faucet because it was leaking underneath the sink.  Nick from Ye Olde Handyman responded quickly and was able to squeeze me into his schedule.  Nick has excellent communication regarding what was needed before, during and after the job.  He is extremely knowledgeable and shares his expertise and opinions freely which I greatly appreciated.  He did a great job on my kitchen faucet and will be returning to tackle another job in my kitchen.  I highly recommend Nick if you need any type of handyman service.

He was really kind and walked me through resolving my water heater issue over the phone (as it's a Sunday and so was unavailable) and didn't even charge for it. I'm so glad I found this company because it's obvious they are genuine, know their work, and are not all about making money and care about others. I will not be using another plumbing company ever again.

Abdu is very polite and professional. He fixed the broken rod very quickly. The work is neat and clean. I would come back to him for sure.

We had a leak in a built-in tub faucet that had suddenly had spouted into a stream. The great thing about them was that they were at my doorstep within 20 minutes. He figured out what was wrong with my faucet but needed a special ceramic stem from that manufacture. He didn't have that part on hand but was able to go to his supplier and be back to fix the faucet within an hour.

He had a problem getting the handles on. It seemed the fitting-washers for this faucet had to  be put on just right. He didn't charge for the extra time needed to figure this out. It seemed that the installed stems were about a millimeter too short. We were able to get it all installed but took the extra trouble to call me back the next day to let me know that he had checked with the manufacture of the faucet to see if they had a longer stem to fit this fixture and they didn't.

I don't do too many reviews but a have to give one to After Hours Plumbing.

We had an early morning plumbing issue on Memorial Day. Our shower/tub was clogged and full of muck and our washer drain overflowed. On top of that we were having a bbq so the timing was terrible.

I called 3 different local plumbers, Cedric of After Hour Plumbing answered. This was 7:00am on a holiday.  Cedric said he would be at our house in 30 minutes, and he was. He gave us a very reasonable quote $189.00 considering it was a holiday and an emergency call. He ended up having to go on the roof and snake out two vents. Prior to that he explained the price adjustment for having to go on the roof, which I thought was fair, $275.00. The washer drain had also overflowed with black mucky water and made a mess in the garage. Once Cedric was finished snaking the drains he went in the garage and cleaned up all the nasty backflow and left the garage in great shape.

Cedric was prompt, clean, polite, and very professional. He went above and beyond and at the end didn't try to charge me with anything extra or any clean up. He stuck to the $275.00 estimate which again I felt was beyond reasonable.

I highly recommend  Cedric and After Hour Plumbing. I hope this review encourages you to call them.

Prompt, courteous - but for a fireplace that was ultimately fixed in less than 20 minutes by Behr Plumbing, we were about to spend $450 more with Palo Alto heating.

Hard to recommend when you experience something like this - but good service overall, even if they take a replace vs understand and fix approach. Every case is different but for ours, a CO2 cartridge for $5 was the only real expense needed to fix the issue (spiders in gas line). But we were quoted a new gas valve, labor.

Can't imagine what we would have been quoted to fix our water heater that just needed a tuning on the dial and the tub's water pressure issue diagnosed for free by Behr...

Dependable gentleman. Hardworking and honest. Hes busy and that is a good thing. If he wasn't busy, I'd be worried when calling.

Definitely give him a shout for all your water pipe doubts.

These guys are awesome. They were fast, efficient and honest. Our water heater needed replacing back in July. I originally called Mr Rooter after our neighbor recommended them. They came out and quoted me $2500 to replace our water heater and haul away the old one. We knew after doing research that it should only be $1300 -1600. Our house is only 1600 sq ft.
Anyhow, I ended up contacting Henry's and texted him some pictures of our current water heater, he quoted me $1450. They came out within an hour to start the job. They were professional, knowledgeable and worked super fast and were fair in price. We will definitely use them again.

Called PCE yesterday (on Monday) to schedule an appointment and a technician, Anthony Alvarez, came the next day (on Tuesday) on time within the given time range. Anthony did a thorough check on the circuit breakers and panel. He found the location of why several of the electrical outlets were not working. There was one bad electrical outlet making a sizzling sound, and Anthony replaced it with a new one. He provided me with recommendations and estimates for other work needing to be done in the near future. Anthony was very professional (efficient, courteous, informative and answered all my questions).

My hot water heater bled out on a Tuesday morning... I called Eldridge and by the time I came home from on Tuesday evening, my new hot water heater was installed and working great.   The owner,  Wade,  was very thorough about explaining what they were doing and why they were doing it.

Having to deal with something like this is never fun, but I'm happy to now have a go to plumber in Cambell.

Our water heater was broken on Sunday.  The water was coming out of the heater unit and it has started to flow through the garage.  I had the suspicious that the unit is broken and it turn out to be true as well.  We then closed the gas pipe and water inflow to the heater unit.  This unit (Bradford white) was replaced in 2014 by Advanced plumbing.  However, it has broken in less than 7 years.  I was thinking that Bradford was a reliable brand and can run for atleast 10 years.  So, called up the same company (Advanced plumbing) for a quote to replace this unit again.  But their quote was way way too much as compared to other companies that I had talked to.  One of my friend referred me Vince from VIP plumbing.  So, I have called up Vince on Sunday itself.  Since Vince doesn't work on Sundays, he asked me to send the pictures of the unit and he would come on Monday to replace the new unit and also mentioned that he would lower the price if I get a quote from other companies.  I had also called up Plumbing Care Inc and they showed up to look at the heater unit and provided me quote for three different heater units.  I felt that their price was ok but wanted to check with Vince to see if he can lower the price.  So, Vince was kind enough to lower the price compared to the quote given by Plumbing Care.  Vince came over today (Monday) and replaced the heater unit and made the system up and running.

I am really happy with the way Vince installed the unit and the professionalism.  I would highly recommend Vince to all my friends.

I recently replaced all of my toilets to Toto washlets, and asked them to replace a shower head and faucets at bath tubs. The job done by Guy Plumbing was amazing. They responded very quickly and all of the jobs were done so accurately. Everyone at Guy Plumbing was well mannered and so kind as a person too.

Especially I'd like to give a special thanks to DAN who took care of my toilets and showers and faucets. He was the specialist!!!! Even though we asked him something which sounded very hard, he researched by himself and made our every wish come true. Very honest and kindhearted too.

I already recommended Guy Plumbing to at least ten of my friends! Great!

$325 to replace a max $20 fill valve on a toilet that took one hour of work is just crazy. Full Stop.
Why didn't I push back on the invoice at the moment I was asked to give my credit card you ask? I didn't want to make a scene in front of my invalid mother and her caretaker. To the latter, $325 would be 16 HOURS+ of my caregiver's wages if she needed to address the same issue. No wonder folks are fleeing SF to more affordable places.
Do better 24-7 Rooter & Plumbing and don't gouge your customers.

Cody, the plumper from Thomas Plumbing was a credit to his profession and to his company!!! He was professional and he had great people skills. He explained every step of what he was doing. When I asked for his recommendations he gave them clearly, then left the decisions up to me. He worked with diligence and efficiency while maintaining a cheerful attitude. When he was finished he double checked his work. I was very grateful to have my plumbing problems fixed. The price was fair too.
The bonus for me was that I have used Thomas Plumbing a number of times and I have been very happy with them EVERY TIME!!!

I gave this plumbing service a try since all of the others were either charging a ridiculous fee just to come out or not returning my calls.
