I hate long-winded reviews, but I'll write one anyway. Here's the quick executive summary:

I obtained two quotes for what ended up being a complete reface for all our cabinets. I found both companies more than competent, and would have felt quite comfortable using either, but what really sold me on Better Than New Kitchens was the owner, Dan Oldejans.

After a preliminary conversation and estimate on the phone (I loved that you can give him your own measurements via email and he provides an estimate before he even comes to your home). When I received his estimate, I informed him that we weren't even sure that we wanted to go through with it because I was way, way, way off on my own personal estimate, also known as wishful thinking.

Dan still came to our home and spent over two hours with me going through the process and showing me samples and available options. He was thoroughly honest when I questioned whether we were getting a little outside the pricing parameters for a house of our size and price (we were) and I appreciated his candor.

I always take that sort of response as an indicator of the type of individual I am dealing with and that initial, very positive impression held through our entire project. AND, there was absolutely no pressure to up sell.

Dan was also quite responsive when we asked him to price out various portions of the project as we tried to fit the reface into the budget. He worked hard to reduce the overall estimate once he was able to measure everything himself. Though it was often just a few dollars here and a few dollars there, I appreciated the effort.

We eventually decided to go all-out and have the whole home refaced, and even added a new cabinet. Dan continued to work hard to make things work, even having the patience to charge three different credit cards in order to allow us to get together the total amount for the down payment. Honestly, I was just a little paranoid about writing a check with no recourse if something bad happened. Using the credit cards gave us an option outside the Registrar of Contractors should that occur. Turns out that fear was a totally unfounded. Since then, we have never looked back!

A totally awesome transition from our blonde, rather plain tract home cabinets to a very rich, nearly custom look! Craftsmanship was outstanding. Seams where the crown molding butts to the wall are imperceptible. The brads on the 1/4 veneer are also nearly impossible to see. Overall, we are totally pleased with the workmanship and results.

Though the cost was a lot more than we had initially budgeted, we are thrilled that we decided to go forward with it. I am certain it will add a substantial amount to the resale value of our home when that day comes to retire in a smaller place. The transition was actually so breathtaking that it has us reconsidering the move.

The work was completed on-budget and even a day early. Dan is a hands-on owner, and he and his team were always on-time to start and they finished at a reasonable time each day.

There were a couple minor snafus, and they were addressed properly and quickly. When the crew arrived the first day, someone who shall remain nameless (Dan) backed in the trailer a little too far and chipped a little stucco off the top of the garage frame. I might never have noticed, but Dan brought it to my attention, and addressed it immediately by taking a paint sample and getting a little touch up. It was repaired and imperceptible within an hour!

A second snafu involved the hardware. We used different pulls for the kitchen and the rest of the home. They missed that and drilled for the same hardware. Dan advised me of the problem, and being the reasonable people we are, we agreed that Dan would replace the hardware with something we still liked. He offered to go to a specialty hardware store to try to get a match with our original choice in order to make us happy. In the end, both sides were lucky that we found an acceptable replacement at the local Home Depot. I'm guessing that's a lesson learned and won't happen again.

In the end, we were exceptionally pleased with the work, and should we actually move in the future, we will use Better Than New Kitchens - no second estimate required.

I would highly recommend Valley discount cabinets! From the moment, I walked into their store to the finished product I was beyond satisfied and very Happy  with the customer service, the design to the finished cabinets! They turned out beautiful! I had an amazing experience! Roberto helped me design, my salon, suite! It turned out gorgeous! I get compliments daily! Simply awesome.  We refaced large kitchen and three bathrooms. Jeff responded right away, gave us a reasonable price and date when project will be completed. Neither price or dates changed. Jeff and mike arrived in masks, at 8 am, worked all day, cleaned after the work. The quality of cabinets was superb. All work was done in 4 days. Highly recommend.

These storage cabinets for homes / garages and closet organizers are amazingly nice spacious and affordable. I've used them for my 3 homes over the years. this company is A1 in my opinion and I would, use the,m again !!

Not often enough, things go as planned and everything works out to your best expectations. This was my experience working with Cyrsty at Cabinets 4 Less in Mesa.  I have high praise and appreciation for her working with me while I remodel  two bathrooms.  Her recommendations on vanity cabinets and countertops install went just as we discussed and after a week from the day of order, I picked my cabinets today. I am very satisfied and readily recommend her. She knows her products and the best installers to get the job done.

Professional from start to finish. We love our new built in cabinets they made for our entertainment center! Would highly recommend! Just know they are backed up for weeks so contact them well in advance of when you want your final product.

What a gem I found with Connie at Cabinets 4 less!  We are doing a small new build and after going to about 8 different cabinet places I finally found Connie. She is incredibly knowledgeable about cabinets and has many years of experience. Some of the benefits for going to cabinets 4 less compared to other companies -- They have their own warehouse and the delivery dates can be scheduled more precisely (no long delays like many places which were up to 18weeks), they are very personable and always answer the phone, they are a local retailer, the cabinets are very well made, and they have great prices especially when you can catch a promotion. I would recommend Connie 1000 times. She is amazing!

Michael was very professional arrived on time and he knows what he's doing and he did a great job installing our five fans at our new house I definitely will use him again in the future, Mission accomplished!!

organized by design ,AZ did my his and her closets.it came out unbelievable.. chad builted me  my dream closet. I'm only 5'0 ft tall and my ceiling is about 14ft tall. I have a lot of clothes.. . shoes, and more importantly beautiful purses collections.we have to show off........with that in mind .chad builted me and 2 French doors cabinets. with and ED lights that lite  up when you open the doors.. and I was not going to used a ladder to climb to get the clothes down....so he went to work and build me electronic bars for my top cabinets with a push of a Botton.it comes down and back up Botton.middle of the room a cabinets with 2 draws for jewerly on the top part and the rest is just extra draws.top part of the cabinets is a glass top. of course there's more specials details to my closet. but trust me ..this is the design team you want!!!!!

I had an excellent experience with Matt. He did an amazing job refinishing my nightstands with a quick turn around time. I will be using him for all my home projects!

Save yourself a lot of time and energy in researching the best and go with Phoenix Cabinet Company. I'm using them for the second time for another project in Scottsdale because I was so impressed after the first project. They are professional, diligent, detailed, fair priced and they ensure you are in love with the finish product. They do custom and they are a dealer of Soliid so it's great to be able to mix and match! Call Kevin, he's my favorite. He will take care of you!

I am very satisfied with the service and quality of cabinets we purchased from Cabinets to Go. We were remodeling a 3000 square feet home. All of the cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms needed to be replaced. Brad was very helpful in creating the design for each room based on the the measurements I provided. I changed the kitchen design 4 to 5 times but Brad never complained about making the changes. The cabinets were delivered within a week of ordering. Their recommended contractors delivered and assembled the cabinets very efficiently. We have remodeled many homes. Working with Brad and Cabinets to Go team was the best experience.

Some of the doors did not have self closing inserts. They provided the missing inserts immediately. They also provided touch up paint. I would definitely buy from them again.

I used Diamond Kitchen & Bath to install new vanities and countertops in all three of my bathrooms. In all cases, I went in and discussed what I was looking for and went over options with them. They were patient and took their time answering all of my questions. The delivery and installation of the vanities went without any delays in the timetables they established. The quality of both the products and the installation was great. I was very happy with the entire process.

I really can't say enough good things about PWC. I realized early in the course of my kitchen remodel that I wanted quality, affordable American-made cabinets, so I naturally gravitated toward Waypoint. That's what got me in the door of PWC's showroom, after having already worked with another designer on my kitchen layout. When the contractor I selected (not affiliated with PWC) ended up falling short midway through my remodel, that's when the value of working with PWC really became apparent. Eric took pains to understand my predicament, even coming out to my home a few times to inspect as-built conditions and giving me good recommendations for next steps. PWC's installers Troy and Will were consummate craftsmen, skillfully rectifying my previous contractor's shoddy work and getting my kitchen remodel back on track. Almost 18 months after installation was completed in February 2020, just before COVID-19 shut everything down, PWC helped me quickly resolve a minor warranty claim with Waypoint. Highly recommended.

I always am one to give the local guys a shot at my money, that's why I went to DKB instead of Lowe's or Home Depot. That turned out to be a sad mistake.
It's a very long story, but bottom line, without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever encountered in making a purchase as large as the bathroom vanity I purchased from DKB, almost $10,000. They do not communicate, it takes days if they ever return your call. The only way I could get an answer, and rarely a timely one was through email to the Salesman, Jess.
When they brought the vanity out the delivery person was great. The installer was great. I pointed out that the crown molding on the centerpiece was wrong, it was a 6 molding that should have been 3. When I contacted the salesman i was told it would be weeks before I would get the final installation of the new moldings. I asked why the factory couldn't FedEx or UPS the moldings so they could finish it. His response was the factory will only send it on a truck with new orders.!!?? Are you serious, They wouldn't box up 3 pices if crown molding and send it to keep the customer happy!!?? I was dumbfounded, I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. Anyhow, he was right, I waited for weeks for the new moldings, and total it took almost 4 months for them to complete the project.
Now I have a soft closing drawer that won't close properly, can't wait to see how long this will take for them to come and fix it.
I'm reasonably sure I could have had someone custom build the same vanity for much less money, and I'm sure the builder would have enough pride in his work to make it right, ASAP.
Bottom line, go to Lowe's or Home Depot YOU WILL BE MUCH HAPPIER!
