Premium  Surface Resurfacing
It was an accident when I called Premium checking on a quote from another company. We were doing a refresh on our home of 28 years. We had done a lot of research on refinishing the original countertops, as we've always enjoyed the layout of our home. Premium provided a competitive quote, however, it was the customer service and attention that Edith provided that made it worth it. They were in our home for four days redoing the kitchen, a master bath to include a garden tub, and our guest bath. I am working from home, due to COVID-19. My home office is by the front door. Three of those days while I worked, they came in and out right next to me, I was able to continue to do my work with no interruption. This work was done at the end of our refresh and the care they took to tape, drape plastic and paper walkways was very much appreciated. I've never seen a crew that from the time they showed up, other than a short break for lunch, we're so focused on their work. All of that said, the finished product was beautiful. It far exceeded our expectations. Our 28 year old countertops look brand new. Thank you Premium for a job well done.

After much research and shopping around we chose Jeff with Stellar Kitchen and Bath for many reasons.
Our first time in the showroom we felt completely comfortable with him and his wife, they are very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to answer every question I had and seemed to know exactly what I wanted, he also had great input about things that I hadn't thought about.
Let me tell you, he transformed not only my kitchen but my whole house!  Everyone that was involved in the renovation was so amazing! The workmanship of everything was spot on, never had to call anyone back out to fix mistakes as it was done right the first time.
I have ZERO complaints.

The only reason I am giving this company two stars is because the finished product (after going to hell and back), turned out beautiful.  But, that is the product, and not the customer service or workmanship.  

I was originally referred to the salesman that we used by a friend of mine that does many remodeling jobs.  I interviewed him (I'll call him X) and liked the product samples and the pricing he gave me.  

In the beginning I was unsure of the brand and type of cabinets I wanted and was guided to the decision I finally made by the owner of the company, who was very helpful.  I chose the brand Sollid and went with the MDF.  There are many pros and cons of using the MDF, but in the end, I believe I made the right choice.  

It would take me too much time to completely detail my experience so here are some highlights:

Miscommunication during the designing process.  We had to go back and forth for WEEKS until the final design could be approved.  If I was not the type of person that paid attention to detail, we would have had a very different kitchen than what I wanted, and the wrong sizes of bases and uppers would have been delivered.

Miscommunication with the salesman about where to put the product (garage/inside the house) when it was delivered.  This was an issue because the cabinets couldn't be stored inside the house before they were installed because the drywall guy was not finished with his job.  I was told I would be called when the cabinets came and and was not given enough notice.  

During the installation process, the Installer left out key pieces and they had to be ordered - which caused a two week delay in our job - pushing all the other vendors back out.  This was a MAJOR screw up.  There was trim that was missing and a bottom that was the wrong size.  X blamed me because that is what I wanted.  Well, yes, that was what I wanted, but if he knew it wasn't going to fit, why in the world would you order it????

After writing a three page letter to the owner of the company, all I got was a patronizing response.  Never once did they apologize for the screw-ups or offer me any compensation for my time and trouble.

I understand that during any remodeling job things don't always go smoothly, but this wasn't my first rodeo.  I was testing this company out because I come into people all the time in my business that want referrals for vendors.  This company failed miserably.

Steve and Steve are awesome! They have done a couple of projects for me already and I have been very satisfied with everything they've done. They're  very accessible and really want to help make your ideas come to life. I would definitively use them again and would recommend them highly!

We found modern innovations on Yelp after a few other companies either turned us down or wanted to charge way to much. We needed a door frame widened to remove an old air conditioning unit from a utility closet. Irving was knowledgable, professional, and affordable. If and when I have more home projects to tackle I will definitely use them again!

Cornerstone Cabinets completely modernized our office kitchen! Before they came in we were in the 1980s, now sets the bar completely to 2020 standards. Our remodel is luxuriously updated and is as elegant as I could ever imagine. I had no idea our space had the potential to look so beautiful, but the quality design, workmanship and attention to the smallest details really shows in the completed project. Chris is fantastic to work with, has wonderful insight and vision, he will point you in the right direction from start to finish. As a general contractor I've worked with many cabinet companies and Elite Kitchen Concepts is the best.  I've used Elite Kitchen Concepts for all kinds of projects and they always exceed my expectations.  They provide great conceptual drawings of layouts so that the customer can easily envision what their new kitchen or bathroom will look like.  Their prices are unbeatable and their cabinets are great quality.  Their installers are great and when we've run into problem areas they always come up with the right solution.  

I will always recommend Elite Kitchen Concepts to my customers and friends.

This is the worst cabinet company. Stay away. If anything goes wrong, Nathan will blame you. Horrible customer service. I had to hire another company to deinstall and then reinstall my cabinets because his installers did such a poor job.  He even sold me an oven cabinet that wasn't strong enough to hold an oven. I wasted so much money and stress with this company. Nathan is young, arrogant, and has zero customer service. Stay away!

Complete Claim just refinished my vintage mahogany dresser and nightstand and it turned out beautiful. He painted my kitchen cabinets a few years ago and they also turned out great. Give them a call.  They were also the best price for refinishing the dresser and nightstand.

After numerous horrendous experiences with vendors/contractors, Im thrilled to have found SSC.  Jeff is an amazing person to work with; he is easy-going, patient, and very detail-oriented!   Even my spouse loves Jeff and calls him a breath of fresh air, finally someone we don't have to babysit!  Most importantly, I love how responsive Jeff is.  You can always count on him to get back to you in a timely manner.  You will be impressed by how knowledgeable Jeff is about kitchen cabinets.

What a great result we got from Marie and Classy Closets! We expanded our master suite mostly to add closet and bath space. We spent a LOT of time trying to come up with a DIY design but even though our new closet footprint was 10'x11', we just couldn't find a way to utilize the space in a functional manner. We first met with the major (big name) competitor and then with Marie from Classy Closets. The proposed design from the competitor didn't come close to meeting our needs and the quote was outrageous. Marie came into our construction site, interviewed us with insightful questions and promised to have a design for us to review in a few days. Mind you this was the week in between Christmas and New Years. We met with her in the showroom and were blown away by what she had come up with. Things the competitor had told us were impossible, Marie found a way to incorporate into the design and her quote was 40% less! We could not be more pleased with the end result, although the process was not without problems. There were two incidents of the shop floor making incorrect cuts and the drawer pulls were not on hand at the time of installation. I feared that since the sale had already been made, Marie might be slow to return my calls but that was not the case at all. She was tenacious in escalating our problems and getting them resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Now all that's left is for us to start enjoying our new, beautiful closet!
