Matt was professional and easy to work with. He quickly provided a competitive quote and then worked with me to get scheduled. The garage painting was completed quickly but at the highest quality.  Matt was happy to complete any touch-up work we requested before he left and is willing to return to fix anything we are not satisfied with. Project: Painting exterior of house, including wood trim, plus garage door.

Cost: Competitive. I got quotes from 4 different companies; even with other companies' coupons, A New Leaf Painting AZ (ANLPAZ) was at the same spot.

Social Aspect: Pleasure to deal with. I have a 1yr old, 38 week pregnant wife, and 2 small but loud dogs. Matt and company were as professional and accommodating as could be (and it worked). Kid slept, wife slept, dogs watched from their resting spots without barking (had to get them to smell Matt and Greg a couple times.

Process: Meticulous. Matt and Greg diligently walked around the house with me to ensure correct color choice for each area and to verify what needed masking/taping. Very respectful. I had solar being installed, and they worked around the hassle of needing to mask twice due to solar company tearing off the masking for their work.

Observations: The guy who came out and quoted (Matt) was there laying on paint with his crew (Greg). With that level of commitment, I trust 1) his quote, 2) his crew, and 3) his reputation amongst these reviews. On a side note, Greg was just as polite and a pleasure to deal with, with a solid work ethic.

Results: Spot on. PRIOR to ANLPAZ coming out, this house had some pretty bad areas. Now, we absolutely love the appearance with zero complaints. There were places trim existed that I didn't think about (staggered roof). Matt and Greg even painted the house and trim up there, even though ONE neighbor would be the only person to see it. Thorough!

Standing behind his work: ANLPAZ, along with my wife and me, walked around the house to see if they missed any spots. They did, though it took a fourth set of eyes (yes, three of us missed it). ANLPAZ *immediately* fixed it. They were HAPPY if we caught anything because they stand behind their quality of work. If I could do it over, I would STILL go with ANLPAZ.

I would highly recommend hiring Matt for your painting needs.  He was very professional and clean.  His prep work was on point and I couldn't find any flaws w/ the work; not even the carpeted areas leading up to the staircase.  He brought my rooms/garage back to it's original look.

I found A New Leaf Painting from Yelp estimates, and I'm glad I did. After purchasing my first house (a fixer upper), I had a lot of projects to get done on a timeline before moving into my new home. Matt was able to quickly come over to do my interior paint, and then reliably followed through with coming back to paint my exterior a couple weeks later, when my window project was done. I felt the quality of work Matt and his team did was worth the value of the cost, and will be referring friends and family to A New Leaf Painting in the future.

Matt was very professional and nice to deal with.  We had him do a full interior painting with a few accent colors and it turned out very good.  He was happy to come back and touch up a few areas as well!  I highly recommend him!!

Matthew did a great job repainting the cinder block wall. We received a HOA letter stating the wall needed to be repainted and within a week of contacting him, Matthew had the wall repainted and looking great.

I had Matt paint the exterior of my house. Great price, really friendly, good communication.

Cons: a little paint was spilt on my patio and wouldn't come off.

Pros: price was great. and as a consolation for the minor paint spill, Matt showed up by himself early on a sunday morning to try and get the paint off the patio himself and paint my newly installed French doors at a good price. He even offered to get extra paint if needed.

I would use a new leaf painting again.

Matt agreed to paint our house in Cottonwood.  We signed a contract. He was supposed to start 2 weeks later (on 6/27/2019).  A few days before the start date he told us he would need to start a day later than the date on the contract, we said that was fine. We spoke on the start date, he pretended everything was good, he acted as though he was starting the job. 4 days later we heard from our agent in Cottonwood that Matt had told her that he wasn't going to do the job for us.  He didn't bother to tell us directly.  We had to scramble and start interviewing other painters. He set us back a month.

Fast response.  Very accommodating.  Ended up canceling the appt for the quote due to outside circumstances.

Matt did a remarkable job on our home! I was so pleased with the turn out. I loved my home when I first purchased it (Dingy color and all ) but when the job was completed I fell in love all over again.  The house looks completely brand new. He finished  when he said he would witch was awesome. We live far in the west valley and though it was A ways away Matt still Took on our home which we really appreciated. I will recommend him to anybody I know who needs their home painted and I will definitely use A New Leaf Painting in the future!

My wife and I have owned a few homes and had a number of different experiences with painters...Matt is without question the best experience we've ever had.

Having just returned to AZ after 10 years out of state, we just bought a resale home that we loved but desperately needed to change the interior color to warm up a bit.  With no idea who to reach out to, a quick Google search for Gilbert Painters presented A New Leaf Painting and a slew of strong reviews. On an incredibly tight timeline, we reached out to Matt who said he was about a week out from being able to get started if we wanted to use his services.  We asked for him to come by to give us a quote and later that day he came by, walked the roughly 3000 sq ft we were painting, and he emailed us a quote within an hour of leaving our home.  The next day he called to say his schedule opened up and that he could get started the next day...thrilled, we jumped on the opportunity.

A little over three days later, Matt's team was completely done and the house looks brand new!  I've never seen painters move as fast as A New Leaf and their work is just perfect.  They're quick, clean, cost effective and completely focused on you getting exactly what you want from your paint job.

Matt painted my house and he did an awesome job. He painted and I didn't like the color that I had chosen and he repainted it with another color that I liked better. He was fast, on time, and  immaculate. I would definitely hire him again for future jobs.

My husband and I had the entire interior of our house re-painted by Matt and his guys, they did an AMAZING job! They were painting the house while it was still vacant and Matt checked in constantly to make sure things were done exactly how we wanted them and kept us posted with how things were coming along. I hired Matt with A New Leaf Painting to paint the exterior of my house. My daughter had used him a few years ago to paint the exterior of her house and she was happy with his work and how he was very professional. The house Matt painted for me I had purchased with the exterior looking pretty worn out and rough. The fascia was very dry with the paint peeling off and some wood lifting up. The main area looked faded and worn. I asked Matt to do some repairs to the different areas of wood and caulking as well as a good power wash prior to painting. Matt was very patient and diligent with getting all the prep work done. He also painted the house using semi- gloss paint which is much more time consuming and difficult to apply than eggshell or flat paint. Some painters will be sneaky and water down the semi-gloss with water. That breaks down the integrity of the paint. You can tell that Matt is upstanding and used good quality paint. The wood sucked up so much of the paint due to being so dry and needing a paint job since long before I ever bought the house. Matt applies enough coats of paint until there was finally a coat that stuck in the outside of the wood. It took Matt more days than he originally estimated, but he stuck with the job until he completed it. (Note: other people have pushed getting jobs for me done by starting and then giving me time here and there between other jobs.). Once Matt starts a job, he sticks with it until he is done. He moves his tools to the side and leaves his work areas neat at the end of the day. He cleaned up very well behind himself. The house looks great now. Matt gave me a great price for the work he did and I believe it could be easily a thousand below what other paint companies might have charged me. Matt did a wonderful job. I am so happy with his work. I will use him again. I highly recommend Matt with A New Lead Painting.

Matt and his crew came in and laid down tarps immediately. Right off the bat I knew they would care about my property. I had my entire interior house painted, and it was done in two days. Matt even suggested a two tone paint in one room, which turned out amazing. I would highly recommend his work. Also, his prices are as reasonable as you will find for the quality of work he does. New Leaf Painting came to our new home to do all of the ceilings before we moved into the house. Matt set aside 2 days to complete the job but the guys decided to stay a bit longer to complete the job on day one.  They did a thorough job of taping everything off, as well as painting. They were efficient in the clean up, taking all of the trash with them. Matt inspected the job and touched up a couple of spots.  The price was very fair.  I'll be hiring this company to do the walls when I am ready.
