Carpet Chris specializes in all types of carpet repair including patching (holes, burns and stains), carpet attachments (loose transitions, new tile or hardwood installations), carpet stretching (wrinkles and buckles), restoration (reinstallation of flooded carpet), and pet odor (removal of affected padding, sealing of the subfloor, and reinstallation of the carpet).

Established in 1997.
Carpet has been a part of my life as long as I remember. When I was in kindergarten, I got Kawasaki Sydrome, associated with carpet cleaning, and it almost killed me. In 4th grade, I was entertained watching the installation of new carpet in my home by our family friend Keith, who would later teach me the trade. Soon after graduating high school, Keith invited me to help on a large commercial carpet installation in the suburbs of Chicago. It was hard work, but I appreciated the opportunity and the enjoyed witnessing the transformation of the building we were working in. I continued to work with Keith throughout college, perfecting my skills, while working on custom homes, car dealers, hotels, airports, apartments, gyms, and offices. During the summers, I would save small remnants of carpet and in the fall, when school started back up, I would sell and install them in student dorm rooms. After college, I moved to Arizona and began working for the largest retail flooring company i

I'm not only the owner, I am also the technician. When you hire Carpet Chris, Chris is the person who performs the repair. Although im not a licenced contractor and perform my repairs under the Arizona handyman exemption, i have over 24 years experience, am fully insured, and the outcome of your repair is as important to me as it is to you. Besides helping people repair their carpet, I enjoy spending time with my family, backpacking the canyons and wilderness of Arizona, being on the Parent Council of my daughters school, volunteering for Sun Sounds of Arizona, and performing with my band.

Chris repaired some pet damage to our playroom carpet. Can no longer tell it was there. Chris was punctual, price was as quoted and work exceptional. Highly recommend.
Chris arrived within the window time he provided and updated me when he was on his way. I had several running holes in my Berber carpet as a result of pet damage and he was able to patch all of them. Initially I thought I would need to patch a giant piece however he recommended several smaller patches so it wasn't as obvious. At the rate of carpet destruction in my house, I will for sure be using him again and would 100% recommend him.

Chris did a great job on our carpets! He was very quick to respond, showed up when he said he would and worked efficiently. I would definitely hire him again.
We had just a closet to redo. While redoing our daughter's closet, we discovered multiple types of carpet hiding underneath the built-ins. Contacted Chris and he provided us with a great quote. We also had pieces of our new marching carpet, just not the exact size. Chris said no problem.
He was quick to respond. Friendly and courteous during his visit. Wore a mask. Got the job done quickly and it looks phenomenal! I can't even tell where the seams are.

Had 3 rooms and a closet that needed carpet re-stretching. Carpet was installed about 2 years ago. When you see a business on Yelp with an overall rating of five stars, you automatically have high expectations and trust that you will be completely satisfied with their service or product.
Chris definitely lived up to the five star rating and expectation! We had just recently purchased a home with some carpet damage on one of the stairs. It was small, but it bothered me and I was worried that it would be expensive and it would look like someone fixed that area if we got it fixed.
I busted my Yelp app and found Chris. He responded quickly and his quote was extremely reasonable. We scheduled an appointment and unfortunately a day or two before, I had to reschedule and Chris was extremely accommodating. When he got to my residence, he was early!!! Oh, how I love punctual people!
My husband actually was there to greet him and he was in and out in less than an hour. I came home later to inspect the stair. Here's the funny part: I couldn't distinguish which stair he fixed. My husband had to point it out to me. That's how much you couldn't tell there was a carpet issue in the first place! I was so surprised.
Then, I asked my husband where he took the carpet from and wanted to see how much damage he did. He took a small piece from a linen closet and although you can tell slightly, it was way better than I ever thought it would look.
I definitely would recommend Chris to anyone I know. You got carpet issues? Call this guy!
Very satisfied with Chris and definitely recommend him and will use his services again in the future. Found him via a Google search, sent me to Yelp, messaged him in Yelp and he promptly replied, set up a time, easy breezy.
The work itself was just two spare bedrooms of carpet that needed restretched. Chris texted me with his ETA, showed up right on time. All I had to do was move the light weight stuff out of the way prior to his arrival, he took care of moving the beds as he needed. About 90 minutes later he was done. Wrinkles gone in the carpet, beds moved back into place.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Besides the good work, Chris just seems like a nice, professional guy, willing to chat about tangential subjects (for instance he noticed a potential water leak coming thru a window into the wall). Need some carpet service? Definitely call Chris!
Chris did a perfect job restretching our great room and hall carpeting. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He moved the heavy pieces of furniture and made the carpeting look like new again. I would highly recommend him for any of your carpeting needs.

Chris was such a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt and easy to schedule. He is very knowledgeable with carpet. He fixed mine perfectly and even went above and beyond with tacking areas down that poked your feet if you stepped just right and reversing a tack strip that was installed wrong. Chris from Carpet Chris Carpet Repair did a great job restretching our bedroom carpet. Chris is a good communicator. I texted photos and he let us know which direction he would stretch the carpet. He helped us move the heavier pieces of furniture out of the space and we didn't even have to remove our king bed. He shifted it around the room as needed. The carpet looked like-new afterwards.

Chris repaired a hole and stretched my carpet a few years ago. Fast forward and a new puppy took its toll on the living room. I searched for carpet repair and he popped to the top of the search again. I remembered him because of his story on his website about how he picked the trade up. Chris rocked the repair. My dog (culprit) chewed up this corner of my entry room. What can I say man, worked your magic efficiently, and on time... actually early. I needed a quick repair for my rental house. Chris responded immediately (even on Labor Day) and we set an appointment. I had to change the date as work constraints arose, and he showed great flexibility!
The repair was quick and looks fantastic!! I did have some extra carpet to use, and he walked me through the process during the repair.

Chris is running a great company as the sole owner/operator. He was very quick to respond to my quote. Offered a very fair price after coming out to my home to take a look at the size of the job. We had two bedrooms where the carpet was buckling, and after about 90 minutes, everything was completed. The job was done right, quick and little to no mess was left for us. Hopefully we won't need his service in the future, but he'll be the first person I'll contact with my carpeting issues.

I needed to have some carpet repairs done after my dog ripped at the edges of my carpet. I found Chris the carpet guy on Yelp. I sent him a few pictures of what I wanted done and he responded very quickly. He gave me a price which was almost $100 less than another service I received a quote from. Chris has done a great job for us, both patching carpet holes due to construction, and stretching/finishing carpet edges to fit along with new tile. Always on time, fair pricing, and excellent work. We'll definitely use him again when these types of needs arise.
Chris managed to fix my cat-damaged carpet quickly and under my estimate by other contractors. The carpet looks like it was never damaged! I was so impressed with his skill and professionalism. I would recommend Chris to anyone who needs carpet repair.

Excellent work and a very nice, professional guy! My dog ripped up the transition from tile to carpet after getting stuck in a closet and Chris made it look good as new. He had the exact match of carpet and took care to transfer the padding so it would feel the same from from one piece of carpet to the next. Very impressed!

We had fairly new carpeting that was beginning to buckle. I contacted Chris and received a prompt response. He came out to give me an estimate and we set a date.
Chris responded to all emails and showed up promptly for our appointment. He was very neat and professional. He made sure all the newly stretched carpet was securely tacked down. He even had to move some of our heavier furniture in the bedrooms.
Final product looks great! All the buckles have disappeared from our carpet. I highly recommend Chris for any carpet needs.

Chris flat out rocks. He is the owner/operator and takes great pride in his services. He stretched out a 15 year old carpet that had developed lots of traffic wrinkles over the years and it now looks new. I found him extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about carpet mfrg and wear phenom which gives him great results when trying to figure out how to best fix worn or damaged carpets. Honest and very good communication. He has to book out a few weeks, but that's just an indication of how popular he is. Highly, highly recommend Chris.

Chris did a great job stretching my 3 year old carpet back into shape. I only needed one room done for now, but will definitely keep him in mind when the rest of the rooms require it.
Chris was such a pleasure to work with, and did an amazing job! Our cats had completely destroyed a 24-square-inch section of carpet that we thought would be impossible to repair, and we had no extra carpet scraps. Chris had it in perfect condition in 30 minutes. He was super kind and processional, and even took time and energy to help me find a carpet cleaning team--he called a recommended colleague, sent photos of my place, calculated square footage, everything, all because he wanted to help. I needed carpet repaired on three steps on my staircase, and Chris responded quickly and warmly to my quote request. We had a dried red paint spot in the middle of the carpet in our loft. Chris cut out a section, replaced it with a section from a closet, and then replaced the carpet in the closet. All of that for a great price.

After reading reviews for this company, I reached out to Chris today about patching an area of carpeting in our back bedroom. We previously had a partial remodel done and the contractor cut the carpet short in the doorway. Chris immediately responded to my request for a bid and came out the same day to repair the carpet. He showed up at the time he said he would, finished the job promptly and did an awesome job! We couldn't be more pleased! He is the best! You cannot tell where the carpet was patched! We highly recommend him!
I must give Chris a HUGE thank you for coming over last minute and helping me out. I need my carpet stretched as it was definitely bubbled up in different rooms and I had renters moving in. After searching YELP I found Chris who answered me promptly on a Sunday afternoon. Fast forward to Wednesday morning and Chris was at my place stretching and fixing my damaged carpet in no time. I am still in awe that he was able to cover up an area that was in desperate need of repair. He is very reasonably priced and very quick. If you need your carpet stretched, contact Chris immediately! Chris did an amazing job today on a repair. I just recently had new wall to wall carpet installed in June and an old cat of mine had quite a few accidents on the new carpet. Anyway, I turned to Yelp for help. And there was Chris. I read all of his reviews (which were great) looked at all of his repair pictures and I decided to call him. I left a message, he returned my call in about 30mins and gave me a quote over the phone. Unfortunately, after I recessed the damaged area it was 2ft bigger than I had already told him. So, I called him back and he said no problem and my quoted price might go up a little.
I scheduled an appointment with him for Wednesday around 1:00ish. He sent me a text saying that he was ahead of schedule and could he please come by at noon. Sure, enough he was at my door maybe 10mins before 12. He was very friendly and outgoing. After coming in and looking at the damaged area he explained excitedly what he was going to be doing. He showed me everything that was affected with the urine and explained step by step on how he was going to fix the problem. He was here for about 2hrs working on my repair, he did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone who needs a repair no matter how small or big it might be he's your guy. I am extremely happy with his work and not to mention his prices are fabulous too. Chris came out to our condo in Scottsdale to pull carpet up and route our Cox cable to other side of living room. Chris is a really nice guy and did the job perfectly, taking before and after shots documenting that all looked just like before he started. Even the Cox cable tech who was over coincidentally at the same time commented how Chris did the job the right way, trimming the pad alongside tack strip so there was no evidence of cable under carpet. Great job!
I called Chris in to replace the carpet in my master bedroom closet after my dog shredded it. Chris was able to fit me in within a couple days and did an amazing job! Chris did a repair at my place today and everything went very smoothly! I called around beforehand to get a couple quotes and I called the few repair companies I found that were highly rated on Yelp. I chose Chris because his prices were slightly LESS than his competitors and his reviews are BETTER.... no brainer.
He was friendly and thorough with his explanation of what my choices were. He even talked to me about pros and cons of doing the repair and with what my apartment complex might do if they noticed I had repaired the carpet. I went through with the repair and it looks great considering it's a different piece of carpet. I felt like Chris was extremely honest with me and set proper expectations.

Chris recently fixed our carpet that had suffered from some pet damage. He is very prompt to return your call and is flexible to your schedule. He had offered us a next day appointment when we called. His work is very professional, affordable, and he is very skilled at his craft. He triple checked his work and even started over from scratch on one area because he was not satisfied with the discoloration on the piece he had cut. Chris came to our house even a day early to begin repairs and was affordable and did a solid job for us.
Chris did an amazing job adding carpet to an area where a wall was removed. He truly is an artist! Call him for all of your carpet repairs...you won't regret it!
We had a small section of our carpet that was pulled out. I honestly didn't think it was fixable, but figured I'd have Chris look and give it a shot. Chris stopped by, had the job completed quickly, and you can't even tell where the damage used to be. Highly recommend Chris and we will definitely use him again if we (hopefully never) need to again!

Our carpet had a snag from the vacuum cleaner, we called Chris, he replied right away, we set up an appointment , he came on time, gave us an estimate, he explained how he was gonna fix the snag and the cost of the repair. Would highly recommend! We had some water come in from a recent storm and it caused our carpet to get wet. We had to pull it up to let it dry completely, including an area that was tucked underneath tile. I tried to put it back myself and it looked awful. Chris came and made it look like it had never happened! He was on time, professional, and the cost was very reasonable! I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their carpet.

Chris was amazing! I contacted him for help right away. He was able to accommodate my schedule. We had torn back our carpet to build a bedroom. He was able to reattach it to the new walls. He then came back and attached the carpet at the new entry to make it even with the tile. The price was less than I was quoted by others, but the service was outstanding! He was prompt, professional, and I would definitely hire him again and/or recommend to friends and clients.

Chris responded to my request quickly and after sharing a few pictures of our carpet damage gave me a quote. Chris did an excellent job. Even shared Chris's info with carpet cleaner who was amazed at his work. Before you decide to replace your carpet i recommend you see what Chris can do for you.

I replaced the carpet in the living area of my house with tile and that left me with four bedroom doorways that had carpet / tile transitions that didn't look too pretty.
I called Chris and told him I wanted the job done as soon as possible since I'm getting my house ready for sale. Chris made time to get my job done on short notice, he showed up at 7 pm the next night on schedule and finished the four doorways with carpet / tile transitions at a very reasonable price.
I will definitely use Chris for any carpet repairs I need in the future.

I had a bedroom carpet that needed to be stretched to eliminate ripples prior to being cleaned. Chris got back to me immediately, on a Sunday afternoon, to discuss the condition of the carpet, the cost of the service and when would be a convenient time within the next few days for him to come to the house to do the work. Called Chris about repairing the carpet in our master closet where it connects to a tiled bathroom floor. Explained the problem and he gave me two quotes depending on what needed to be done. Showed up on time the following day and within 45 minutes the work was complete (at the lower quote). The area now looks great and is something that will most definitely hold up under traffic.

Carpet Chris was fabulous. He restretched the carpets in my home to get rid of the wrinkles and it looks great now. He was on time, friendly, and willing to explain anything I asked him about carpet. Chris was a little cheaper than a couple of other places that gave me estimates for carpet stretching for two large living areas, and based on reviews and taking a look at his site I decided to schedule him to come out. Not only did he come sooner than I hoped, but also finished the job in an hour and also helped me move a couple of furniture items out of the way. There was a little mess leftover that I felt should have been cleaned up, but everything else was great.
When we saw that Chris had 100/101 5 stars on Yelp, we thought it had to be too good to be true. It turned out that 5 stars is exactly right. Chris was curteous, professional and efficient and he is a great communicator. We highly recommend him, although candidly we hope we do not require his services in the future. But if our carpeting develops additional ripples, Chris is definitely who we will call.
Carpet Chris was excellent from my initial phone contact to completing the job. It was a rather small job but an important repair. He worked hard to make sure there was a good result for an awkward area. He was very courteous and professional in all dealings. Prices was very reasonable. So my anxious dog chewed 2 holes in our new berber carpet. Thought we would have to recarpet, or tile the areas in. Thanks to others posting their reviews, I contacted Chris. Within a few days, we had our carpet looking brand new again! His communication is great, his price is reasonable, and he is excellent at what he does! Thanks, Chris.
Couldn't be happier with the service and the workmanship. Our light grey carpet had a large yellow stain on it. When Chris was done you could hardly tell anything was ever done to the carpet. He was super responsive, got to the house when he said he would and his work is excellent. I won't consider anyone else when I need this type of service.

I called 4 days ago about carpet installation on my stairway and he hasn't even returned my call. I realize it is not an entire house of carpet but in this economy no job is ever to small. Guess I won't be relying on his services. Very disappointing after reading all the reviews.

The day before moving into our new home, we realized the carpet upstairs may have needed stretching after getting them cleaned. Since the house was empty, we scrambled to try to get someone to take care of it prior to moving in the furniture the very next day. We found Chris on yelp and requested a quote at 8 pm on a weekday, hoping to receive a response the next morning. To our delight, and surprise, Chris messaged back within 40 minutes and was able to come out to the house the very next day. Upon arriving to the house, Chris found the carpet had shrunk back down and didn't require any work. Chris was VERY honest and explained that we didn't need any repairs, however, offered to do whatever we wanted right then and there if we preferred. He didn't charge for coming out to the house and was honest even though he wouldn't get any work out it. I felt terrible for wasting his time, however, he was very professional and kind. What great customer service!! We will absolutely call Chris as needed in the future, and recommend you do too if you appreciate quick responses, awesome customer service, and honesty! Professional, courteous, and prompt. Chris repaired sections of dog-chewed carpet in my apartment in less time that it will take me to write this review. He is knowledgeable and his results are a testament to his experience. Even more impressive is honesty. He originally quoted me $150 for the job after I sent him a picture of the carpet and charged me only $125 after he finished. When I handed him $140 as I did not have change, he returned my second twenty dollar bill and said $120 was fine. Who does that?! Honesty and integrity will always win me over. Please do yourself a favor and have Chris handle all your carpet needs. This fickle customer was impressed and you will be too.

I was 100% satisfied with the job Chris did. I recently came from out of the area and relied on yelp to suggest a good resource.
Chris promptly returned my initial call and I set up an appointment for a couple of days later. He was on-time, charged a fair price, was pleasant to deal with and, most importantly, he did a great repair job of what man's best friend tried to destroy.
Although I hope I do not need his services any time soon, if I do, I would not hesitate to call him again.

Chris was a great Yelp find. I had several rooms where my carpet that had high spots and needed to be repaired. Chris was very accommodating with schedule and did great work at a great price. I would definitely recommend him for any carpet repairs you need done.

Chris did a phenomenal job repairing the carpet in my home. You can't even see where it was repaired as it blends in with the existing carpet very nicely! That is how good he is! He arrived on time for the appointment. Chris is the type of person that you don't mind letting into your home - very clean cut, friendly, and an overall nice person. His rates are reasonable and fair and he won't overcharge you. Chris stretched the carpet in one of our bedrooms (a one-inch strip of carpet at the door to the bedroom was destroyed by our cat). At first glance, it didn't look like the carpet could be stretched because there weren't any bubbles in the carpet to begin with. But he was able to get it stretched and it looks perfect again! Chris was referred by our carpet cleaner, Paradise Carpet Cleaning, but I still wanted to go online and research some options so that I could get a couple quotes on getting our carpet stretched. After looking on Yelp, I found Chris Carpet Repair and realized it was the same guy that I was referred to! Well, no need to look any further! I called Chris and he gave me a quote over the phone for just one room, and once he got to my home and saw that he only needed to stretch one corner and not the whole room. He knocked the price down and I really appreciated not being sold services that weren't necessary. I asked him to quote me another room so that I can budget for it and he said he'd just do it then for no extra charge because it was so minor. Really nice guy who stands by his work, is honest, and doesn't up sell or charge crazy amounts. That's all that I ask for! Thanks!
