When no one else would even look at our pool, these guys had no issue coming out and assessing our plumping issues. It seems that most pool companies will not deal with any kind of plumbing problems or things going on under ground, so if you're dealing with leaks of any kind, you'll need a specialist like Leak Science.

They pressure tested to figure out what was going on and were able to fix our underground pipes quickly and under budget. (That's right, they ended up charging less than they quoted when it was less work than they expected. Super honest.)

Throughout the whole process they were very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with, from Ryan to Bo to Melinda at the main office. Just great folks. I would recommend them to anyone having pool leak issues.

They came out and found our leak. Three weeks later somebody came out and repaired it. Beau was great at the repair. You can not even see where he broke up the decking. I would definitely recommend them.

Leak Science did a fantastic job identifying and repairing two large leaks in my diving pool. I was losing 3 inches of water a day. This was not an easy job. Communication was great throughout the project and the attention to detail was most appreciated noted (the before and after met my expectations) and the price and labor was reasonable. Oh how I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!!! I hired Leak Science to fix a leaking pool pipe. Chris was assigned to the job and he went above and beyond to get the job done!!

Ryan with leak science was amazing! I can't recommend him enough! When I first contacted him about a leak in our pool, he came out the next day. Preformed a few tests and was able to detect where our leak was coming from. We had a massive crack in our pebble tech underwater. He drained our pool immediately so he could test for any another leaks within the plumbing. He was able to give excellent recommendations on someone who could fix our major crack with Shotcrete and additional pebble tec.

Ryan was there every step of the way and made sure we had the best person to fix our issue even if it wasn't profiting him. Excellent communication throughout and affordable pricing. Such a great guy and amazing company. I'm so glad we found him! I highly recommend him to anyone! My pool is fixed, looks like new, and we were swimming in it within a little less then 2 weeks.

Leak science came out and were unprofessional . Blew up our phone at 6:30am after we told not to because we work late. They fixed the leak and removed the pool light when doing so and never came out to put the light back in. Instead they told us to do it ourselves . We never received an invoice and then they threatened us with a Lein for $400. Reputable businesses provide an invoice for payment.

I have a big diving pool that was losing about three inches of water a day. I wanted the Best to find out where leak was. Ryan came out and tested everything and could not find it. They were packing up to leave and Ryan would not give up and dove in one more time. He detected a  gurlging sound at main drain. Long story short leak was in main pipe from drain. Chris came out 4 months later when weather was good and jackhammered thru my pebble tech and fixed it perfectly. He was here for three days. He was so professional and good to be around I hated to see him leave. Remember I wanted the best? Well I got it. From Melinda in the office, to Ryan and his right hand man (do not know his name)who finally found the leak, to Chris who did the hard work of the repair I would rehire them all in a second. !

When Ryan was packing up his truck An elderly Gentleman was pushing his Walker on my sidewalk to The DMV over 2 Miles away across a main busy street. Ryan asked Him where he was going and took his Walker, put it back of his truck and took him to the DMV. (I picked gentleman up). These guys were great.  Thought I had a leak in the suction line, turns out I needed some o-rings replaced in some valves.  Honest people here, would use them again in a heartbeat.  Thanks Ryan!

We just bought a house and the pump was blowing bubbles out into the pool so my pool guy (Good Neighbor Pool Service) recommended we call Ryan at Leak Science.  He came out a couple days later to see what was going on and said he would need to do a pressure test but likely the suction line pipes were cracking.  They came out a few days later and did the pressure test, confirmed what he thought, the old ABS pipes were brittle and cracking, thus losing suction and sucking air into the pump.

At the same time, we were discussing adding a dedicated suction line for the pool vacuum so we don't have to keep taking it in and out of the skimmer.  Adding this alone was going to be too expensive as we had already put a lot of money into the new house, but Ryan gave us a great price on fixing the old suction line and adding a new dedicated line at the same time while they already had everything dug up.

They had to remove our paver pool deck and dig a new trench to replace the skimmer, suction line, and add a 2nd suction line.  Bo was who did most of the work and he meticulously took pictures of our pavers before he started to remove them.  When he put everything back together, you can't even tell they had ever been removed.  I was expecting a bunch of broken pavers and everything to be uneven when they were done but it looks like no one had ever touched it.  Whoever did the pebble patch work around the new suction line was also amazing, you can't even tell the dedicated suction line was newly added, it blends right in like it was always there.

All this work was done in one week, leaving us full use of the pool the weekend before and the weekend after.  They were great!  Hopefully we'll never have to use them again (because who wants their pool to leak), but if we do have another leak, they will be the first people I call!

Our pool company identified a potential issue in our pool system and recommended Leak Science to diagnose it.  Scheduling was super easy and Ryan was great to work with.  He identified an undetected issue and worked with our regular pool company to help them troubleshoot it. Ryan and Chris did an amazing job finding and repairing a leak that we must have had for years! I always felt there was an issue but could never find the source because it was not visible from the ground. We only discovered that there was an issue when we were digging in the yard and hit water.

These guys do a great job. We had a swimming pool leak under the deck. Our pool company set us up the these guy, who were able to pin point the leak exactly using their sound and camera equipment. Bobby found a second leak in the skimmer, which needed replacement, also. Once the leaks were found another team of Bo and Chris did the repairs, including the replacement of the skimmer. Their work was neat and done to perfection. The crew was friendly and explained what they were going to do prior to beginning. The whole process took two days and we would certainly recommend them again. The work was not cheap, but, their was a lot of labor involved. It looks great now

Showed up early! Called first to ask if that was ok. He spent hours in my pool diligently checking each possible leak site. They found a leak in the pump, but are not positive that is the entire problem so they are doing a test to see how much water we are loosing before moving to the next stage of testing the pop ups. Which I appreciate. We are still working with them and will post an update upon completion, but so far so good.

When I first called the company and explained my problem, with my pool pump, I set up an appointment for him to come out. Ryan promised to be here between 10 and 12, but closer to 10. First of all, I was surprised he was able to come out so quickly. Second, to be provided a 2 hour window as opposed to the standard 4 hour window was a pleasant surprise. On the day of the appointment, Ryan called at 10:05 to say he got tied up with his previous job but would be to my house shortly. I appreciated the heads up and customer service.

Ryan was quickly able to pinpoint the main leak problem as well as point out some additional problems he uncovered. He fixed the issue and I'm very happy with the service. His price was very reasonable and what he quoted me. I highly recommend him over any other leak company. He's very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I have a tendency to support small local businesses over chains and Ryan/ Leak Science fits the bill!

My husband and I had Leak Science come out to inspect our pool pop ups last month when we were buying our first home. Ryan and his colleague came out promptly and were very up front and honest about what would be involved in diving our pool.

Ultimately, after looking at the pool, Ryan recommended we try a home bucket test to see if the pool was leaking instead of diving the pool (warning us that this can get costly). They also inspected a crack in the pool surface to make sure it wasn't leaking, and in the end didn't even charge us for the visit.

5 stars?  No way!  50,000 stars is more like it!!!  Where do I start?  What a great group of guys that spent 2 full days at my house fixing a leak and then putting everything back perfectly as though they were never here!  There are no words to describe how thankful I am for all of you!  Tears of joy knowing my water bill will finally be normal. Ryan fixed my insidious leak without any hidden surprises.

I had a leak in my pool that went beyond the capabilities of my local pool cleaning service.  I needed a professional.  Before visiting, Ryan explained the diagnosis process, and some common scenarios for the cost and effort for each, depending on if the leak is easy or harder to find.

Ryan was able to find a disconnected pipe connecting the chlorine tablet reservoir with the pool.  Since I had recently converted to salt-water, I had the pipe stopped, which was more economical as Ryan suggested.  He also walked me through the repairs that needed to be done on the deck as a result of the excavation needed, which was super helpful when talking to deck repair companies.

Thank-you Ryan for helping us out on a frustrating problem and I now know who to call if I have any more issues.

A follow up, Leak Science also repaired a crack in the pool deck, the repair didn't last 6 months and the crack is apparently back. I will need to repair the crack....waste of money paying for the repair this repair!!!!

These guys suck, Ryan charged way to much.the work was sub par. I would stay away from these losers.

This company found my spa leak and sent a very responsible , courteous , efficient, hard working man to repair it. The work was well done with every consideration for our comfort. Could not be more pleased with the final work.

You must be reading this because you want to find a leak detection company. Well I suggest you stop here and call Ryan with leak science. I have worked with multiple companies in the valley with multiple houses and none were as honest and knowledgeable as Leak Science. Ryan will not waste your time or money. He's prompt and quick. He is excellent with communication both in returning calls and responding to concerns in a way that makes sense and gives direction on options for you to take. I will only call Ryan for any such issues in the future.

Leak Science was able to find and fix our leak within 3 days. The other company we worked with was unable to do that in 3 months. They are prompt, reasonably priced and will get the job done correctly. Ryan and Beau both went above and beyond. If you value your time and money, choose Leak Science.

I could not be happier with my experience with Leak Science!

We purchased a cheap flip last year and have had to do more to it that we expected (of course). We thought we were out of the woods until we discovered that we definitely had a pool leak. I was bracing myself for a pain in the butt experience with a price tag to match. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Initially, I had an appointment with a different company to come check for the leak, but they felt they were treating me like a number and not at all a priority - the appointment was 3 weeks out! So, while I was waiting, I got anxious and called Ryan at Leak Science and had an appointment within a week. He came out and told me what he thought the problem was and was honest with me about what he thought the problem would be - all ABS piping (50 year old pool) and possibly a crack below the skimmer box. My heart sank as I began to imagine the scope of this job and how bad it would be. My mind went to my wife being right for not wanting a pool and the possibility that we would just have to get rid of it (not that  that option is cheap...).

Then Ryan gave me an estimate. He also told me that he could add a dedicated vacuum line and an auto-fill so I wouldn't have to keep filling it with my hose all summer. Those add-ons, plus the complete re-plumbing of the pool, would cost me 1/3 of what I was bracing myself for! Plus, they could do it in just days!

The project itself was a big deal. Chris, Bobby, and Bo worked their tails off. We were approaching it being too hot to drain the pool, so they bumped up the project schedule and even worked on a Sunday. I swear the guys worked a 15 hour day once or twice! All of the guys are nice and professional and great at explaining what they are doing and why. I never felt like I didn't know what was happening. They were fairly quiet, even when digging and busting up concrete. What's great is that they don't subcontract out the finish work or anything - the team does demo, leak fixes, and all the finish work to wrap things up.

Let me tell you, my pool looks amazing, works better than ever, and my pump and filter now actually hold a charge! I can run the skimmer and the vacuum at the same time, too! I'm so incredibly happy with the work they did. If I'm forced to list negatives, the only ones are that they left a little trash behind (not much - I honestly don't care. I've had other contractors who did less leave far more trash behind) and the cooldeck texture isn't perfect (the color match is, though!).

I hope I never need them again, but I am 100% certain that if I ever have leak issues again, Leak Science will be the ONLY company I contact. I recommend them to everyone who has pool leak issues without hesitation!

We worked with Ryan and Bobby to find the leak on our recently built pool. Bobby was on time, very helpful/friendly and found the issue right away.

Ryan is very knowledgeable about water systems. He was able to diagnose a valve problem on my very large pond system. He fixed it quickly and came back later to check that all was working correctly. He is an easy person to talk to very accommodating a problem solver. The price was fair and less then I expected.

We had Ryan and the Leak Science crew come out and find the leak in our pool that was causing us to loose a ton of water.  We told Ryan that we suspected that the leak might be within the pop-up water supply lines.  They ran through their testing, and sure enough, found the leak in between two pop ups underneath the pool (of course).

Since a repair was needed, we contracted Leak Science to perform the work - we were scheduled in the same week.  They were able to cut out a hole in the pool directly above the leak, cut out the PVC T-joint that had cracked, repair the line, and patch the pool.  The patch is barely noticeable - we had an older pebble surface, so I knew getting a 100% match was going to be impossible, but it is very close. Oh, and they did use high quality PVC repair parts - all glued joints, none of the o-ring sealed joints that might leak down the road.  Since they needed to cut a hole in the pool, pinpointing the location is obviously key, and they absolutely nailed the spot.

Also wanted to point out that they had great communication, worked fast, made us feel like we were their most important customer, and had good pricing.  A solid 5 stars.

Thanks to Leak Science they found the leak in the pipe to the auto fill. They were extremely polite and professional. In addition to the leak in the pipe, they found a bypass that was on creating an issue with cleaning of the water feature. Reasonably priced as well.  I highly recommend them!

Ryan came out and met with us to advise on the work that needed done on our pool.  The pebble tec that was rolled on the sides of the pool as well as the steps had cracked.  There were also cracks on the bottom of pool.  Ryan was very honest with us and to what needed to be done-unlike previous quotes we received telling us we needed to resurface the whole pool.  Chris came out to do the work-they are very professional and personable.  They did an excellent job on the pool, steps and and re-cool decking around the pool as well as fixing the chips on the decking.  I highly recommend Leak Science.  They were also very reliable and timely.  Thank you Leak Science for all you have done.

I was aware we had leak somewhere. I finally localized to the pool. Having terrible fears that the pool, itself had a crack, I panicked. I did a search for a leak detection company. Only 2 were members of the BBB and Leak Science had wonderful Yelp reviews. I called and spoke with Ryan. He quickly scheduled a technician. The leak was found quickly and all other sources checked out to ensure that was the only one. It was not the pool itself and an easy fix. We returned from a out of town trip over Thanksgiving to discover our pool level had dropped 3-4 feet without sign of an obvious leak. We were very concerned as we are prepping the home for sale. After researching several leak detection/repair firms, I contacted Leak Science. Ryan promptly returned my call and scheduled service within a couple of days. Bobby conducted the tests and discovered the source of the problem. What could've been a several thousand dollar repair of  recently resurfaced pool was fixed with a $20 plug plus the cost of the tests. (Lower than quoted). Ryan (owner) visited the site, reviewed his employees work himself and counseled us on how to carefully refill the pool to check for any other potential problems. After this, we discovered another filter issue unrelated to the leak. Ryan worked another site visit into his busy schedule and identified the problem without additional charge. He is currently arranging for another firm to fix this issue as his schedule couldn't accommodate us in the very near term. Bottom line; Leak Science is trustworthy, customer service oriented, priced fairly, is professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate for a nanosecond to recommend them!

Be careful who you choose as a pool service provider.  That's all I can really say.  Still not happy about my pool!

I called Leak Science to address a suction leak in our spa plumbing. Due to the length of the suction line and the complexity of the many twists and turns of the supply lines, locating the leak precisely was very challenging, but Ryan and his team persevered to ultimately find a crack in a 2.5 line. The repairs required a specialty connector that had to be ordered, but Chris diligently refilled the spa temporarily while waiting for the part and kept in constant communication with me on the status of things throughout the entire job. Ryan was very professional and all business (which is exactly what one wants dealing with these leak situations!). I highly recommend them, as they offer expert leak detection services and are unique in also offering professional repairs (Chris was sensational!). Beware of companies that offer only detection services and then do not stand behind that by not finishing the job with the appropriate repairs.

I have had a leak somewhere near my pool filler since I bought the home a few years ago.  After filling the pool manually with the hose since then, I finally got fed up.  I tried plumbers and seismic leak detection companies, but couldn't ever get a resolution.  I found Leak Science online and spoke with Ryan, who I could tell right away was very knowledgable about this line of work.  He quoted me a fair price for the detection service and we set an appointment.  He came out for the appointment, determined where the leak was, and even offered me a favorable discount because the leak was apparently easy to find.  He quoted me a fair price to repair the problem and today he came to do the work.  The work was done carefully and even though I think he encountered more problems than he anticipated, he completed the job for the price quoted.  I am so looking forward to having my auto filler for my pool turned back on again!  Thanks Ryan!
