I recently had Sunset out to replace my 15 year old sun battered side gate. I cannot remember the last time I have been so satisfied with a home improvement project. The gate is beautiful. The quality and installation were both top notch. My only regret is not having done the upgrade sooner. I've gone out and opened and closed the gate probably 70 times to enjoy the silent and smooth operation. Worth every penny.

Alex and his brother helped me with a railing for an outdoor staircase and ledge. He let me know when we started working together that he was really busy but they seemed like one of the best so I was determined to work with them. Even though it took much longer than I would have liked I was amazed with how it turned out. They achieved exactly the look I was going for and the install was a simple one day project. No fuss. I would recommend them to anyone.

We could not be more happy with JM Custom Iron Works.  Juan came out years ago to measure our doors.  He was professional and extremely helpful.  They designed our security gates and installed them beautifully.  We get so many compliments on our doors.  We loved them so much that we ordered more a few months ago.  We have saved a ton of money on our electrical bill as well.  We open our doors at night and feel safe knowing the security doors are locked.  In the morning our house is cooled and it lasts all day.  We don't have to run our air conditioning until June.  I highly recommend this company.  It's an amazing upgrade to your home.   The doors could not be more beautiful.

Alex responded to my initial message straightaway and clearly communicated with me from the first message until the gate repair was complete.  He arrived on time and finished the repair in a timely manner. His pricing is fair and the completed work exceeded my expectations. I'll be changing the locks and fasteners on my other gates around the property and Alex will be my very first choice for these future projects. I love my new backyard gate. It's truly gorgeous and while I replaced the old one, I asked my rep to create an arch on this one to coordinate with the archways to the front door and the front windows. First Impression did my front door and side panels at an earlier installation so this gate frame is that very same color. It's perfect and I especially love the stained wood.

Now, just be aware these are individually made so this one took a month, but well worth the wait. Installer was courteous and left no mess for me to pick up!!!

I am very very happy with the result of our gate. It was dragging on the ground, the lock latch had broken off, and it needed a new staining/paint job. Such nice guys and did a terrific job in about 2 1/2 hours. Great price in my opinion also. Would totally recommend them

I Have two security doors at my home manufactured by this company and they are great. I decided to have a gate made for my front porch that matched the doors and had it made. Everything went great and the gate was installed on time. About a month later the gate started to sag. After calling customer service the repairs were made and everything was back to normal. A couple of months later the sag returned. Upon calling customer service I was told that this can happen due to the construction of the decorative posts that the gate is attached to and they would not make any additional repairs unless I hire a mason to reinforce the post at an expense above the cost of the gate.  Had they informed me of this problem at the time of the sale I would not have ordered the gate. Now I have this great gate that sags and will not close.
