Great company! Had a minor mistake in the shower faucet install at first but came out to fix the mistake quickly and resolved the issue. They were easy to talk to and fast. The cost was average to low so that was great too!

Jacob was great - prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and affordable. Needed service quickly and he responded. I'd definitely use him again.

Springer Plumbing Plumbing Service
I have an older home in North Nashville with gas heat. One of the pipes had an issue and I reached out to the larger companies but the job was too small for them. Springer Plumbing did some work at St John AME and one of the members passed his name over to me. Jeremy was on time, gave me a fair price and completed the job in less than 2 hours. I recommend Springer Plumbing for all of your service needs.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of South Nashville Plumbing Service
I had a blockage in the system - probably caused by kids putting paper towels down the toilet. The folks at Mr. Rooter offered to show up earlier than our scheduled appointment - but couldn't accommodate that. But seriously - when has a plumber come early?
When Sandro got here, the problem had mostly resolved itself, but he was very thorough in checking everything. At the end, no charge. He said he didn't do anything!
These guys are honest, and respectful, and I would totally use them again.

Synergy Service Plumbing Service
Honest, helpful, and reliable. We love these guys. Scott won't sell you something you don't need, and he's consistently worked hard to diagnose weird problems on our aging HVAC unit. I recommend them without hesitation!

Plumbers of Nashville Plumbing Service
I called these guys out to my home to get a quote for a sewer leak in the backyard. Even though I didn't end up using them to fix it, I still owe them $476 for inspecting the area. Very nice people but don't call them unless you're for sure going to use them or you'll end up getting screwed.

Mattena Plumbing Plumbing Service
I talked to Mr Mattena, about putting in an outside hydrant for me, and checking my dishwasher, it was new but not cleaning. He said it would be 95.00 an hour to install the hydrant, he was here maybe an hour  to  an hour and a  half, installing the hydrant and checking the dishwasher  and all he did was pull out the dishwasher and straighten out a kink, 5 min tops, HE HANDED ME A BILL FOR 677.00. I furnished the hydrant, so it cost him only a few dollars in material. An hour and a half at 95.00 an hour, totals  $142.50 , that is a very long way from $677.00.  If he would have been truthful with me I would have looked further, but I knew it could not take too long to dig a small hole, and insert the hydrant, with a few dollars worth of glue and fittings, so that is why I asked him to come, but it did not work out that way at all. They said they did not know why I waited so long to make this review, but I am not one to make waves, and I waited until I was strong enough to  make this review, not expecting anything in the way of renumeration, even though it would be justified,  the only satisfaction I have is in knowing that others are now aware that this can and did happen.    I AM STILL IN SHOCK. YOU MIGHT WANT TO RETHINK HIRING THIS MAN.

Don Wood Plumbing Plumbing Service
We had a leaky shower head and we were told by Don Wood that the only way to fix it was to go in through the other side of the wall and replace the entire system because they said they couldn't find a replacement cartridge and then charged me $99. I then did some online research on how to repair it and found the cartridges (at Home Depot no less) and fixed it myself for $50. Very disappointed in Don Wood. If I figured it why couldn't they?

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Plumbing Service
Hiller technicians are not straightforward folks.  They will lie and try to steer you into buying a new HVAC unit at the first opportunity.  When the sales folks come out, they will try to upsell you to a more expensive unit even the lower efficiency rating means reduced performance.  They must be getting kickbacks from the manufacturers for higher efficiency units due to EPA quotas or something.

The Hiller Club is a joke.  At first, I thought the $99 annual fee would be a great bargain to keep my brand new HVAC setup in tip-top shape.  But every time they came out, they always found new things that we needed.  It's become obvious that they use these visits as an excuse for their technicians to come out and try to upsell you on accessories you don't need.  Every time they come out, the system performance seems to get a little bit worse, too.  Maybe it's a coincidence or a fluke, but I'm beginning to doubt it.

We have spent over $10,000 with Hiller and have had the Hiller Club membership for five years and our house cannot hold a 70° temperature on a sunny 80° day.

The only brand Hiller offers is Ruud.  Ruud is Rheem's second line.  According to Consumer Reports' 2015 Fall Product Reliability Survey of 9,486 owners of heat pumps, Ruud comes in sixth out of ten with a 43% failure rate.  Only Amana (43%), Rheem (44%), Goodman (48%), and York (50%) were worse.  American Standard is #1 at 31% and Trane (which is the brand I requested but Hiller refused to install) is #3 at 37%.  I am now convinced that Hiller specifically sells and installs only Ruud units because they are relatively inexpensive and fail more often than higher quality units.  This means they can cut parts cost while at the same time increasing the number of service calls.

Furthermore, EPA regulations forbid annual refrigerant leak rates in excess of 15%; a single repair attempt is allowed, but if the leak persists, the unit must, be law, be replaced.  So, going with a lower quality unit is guaranteed to generate both future service calls as well as future sales.  It's a win-win-win for Hiller and lose-lose-lose for their customers.

After looking up the model numbers, I found that the MSRP was $2,000 for our heat pump and $1,500 for our air handler.  That means they charged us nearly $8,000 for the installation -- something that took them less than two hours to do.  Highway robbery.

Their technicians also have no experience with modern smart thermostats.

Look elsewhere for your HVAC needs.

Hoffmann Brothers Plumbing Service
They advertise prompted and good services but twice they failed to show. Only after I called they immediately sent a text saying their technician was at a job that is bigger then they thought to call their number and rescheduled. Second time I call when they weren't here at schedule time, the woman told me she would get back to me. An hour later I didn't see their text, they called and told me because I didn't reply their technician was going to the next appointment. My appointment was at 11a they canceled me at 2:30pm. I do not recommend this company, simply because they are not dependable...

Griffin Mechanical Plumbing Service
Overcharged by a LOT to recharge air conditioner. R410A refrigerant is $23/lb for a 25lb bottle. I was charged $77/lb to fill my 12lb system. Very costly, making a 200% profit on refrigerant is pretty despicable

307 Lewis Hollow Rd, Dickson, TN 37055
Sumner County Plumbing Plumbing Service
Used his services based on a referral from a contractor and now I'm in the process of getting another company come and correct his work due to his lifetime warranty doesn't seem to really exist. I contacted him on a few occasions to fix problems I was having with the ejector pump he installed in my basement and he never could find time to come. I watched a few youtube videos and fixed what I could, but now I have to get my basement jackhammered again to have the ejector basin installed correctly and venting added. I do not recommend his services and when it comes to major plumbing, but installing a toilet or fixing a leak he should be fine.

In response to your response, yes YOU did do work for this client under your old business TNTExtreme that has the same phone number as your new business Sumner County Plumbing. New business name, but the same person and just because you change the business name doesn't mean you're lifetime warranty should not be honored. I also left this same review under your Angie's List account. I'm not looking to get anything from you or hurt your reputation, but I do like to leave honest reviews of work that I have done by contractors.

MB Plumbing & HVAC Plumbing Service
I saw good review for Matthew Burkeen, the owner / plumber & chose to call him to replace 2 outdoor faucets. I experienced Matthew as personable and friendly. He told me upfront his availability & the cost to replace the 2 outdoor faucets would be around $275 total ($85 per faucet & labor). I texted him to clarify the work I was requesting after that initial call, which he acknowledged. Upon the appt however, he informed me AFTER the work was complete that the charge was double the original quoted price due to extra fittings. In my opinion it was unprofessional to not communicate this upfront (prior to starting or finishing the work) and although he took some $ off and apologized, it felt off to me. I understand prices can change upon a situation however, please talk to the client directly prior to the work or ASAP. I contacted Matthew for a paper trail afterwards to clarify materials used & he proceeded to tell me that I initially only requested 1 faucet (why the price was different than expected) when I have documentation showing my initial text with date confirming 2 faucets.

Apart from the communication topics, the work appears to be resolved decently enough. I want to support local family businesses yet would have reservations using this company again. I hope this situation inspires improved communication.
