We contacted Glendale Welding based on prior reviews and BBB ratings.  Getting an estimate during the pandemic proved challenging, after 4 failed attempts I called Larry and he scheduled, arrived promptly, sketched the job  and walked us through the process.  Composite wood gates are a challenge because the slat product is in high demand with little surplus.  He quickly went to work, and was able to secure enough product for our project.   From quote to install less than 3 weeks. He also hauled away our old gates at no charge.  We are very pleased with the look, functionality of our new entry and RV gates.

This place is awesome! We had two doors installed 5 years ago and they were such a great investment. The screen is so perfect it feels like nothing is on the door. Then, I needed an extra piece of screen for my fountain so I stopped in. Not only did the owner help me with a piece of scrap, he had his technician trim to size and didn't charge me a dime. I first came across SDGF on Thumbtack when I needed a new garage key pad installed. Last summer my garage opener was malfunctioning and since Frank was so helpful the first time, I called them back again for my opener repair. I had another issue just recently with my garage springs and he came to fix it the same day with the appropriate parts on hand. SDGF's customer service, punctuality and reliability is above all the rest. Highly recommend!

After 2 weeks,  can't get a response on an estimate. They didn't contact me back.  They also didn't return my calls even after calling 3 times.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Alpha. After getting a few outrageous quotes, I contacted alpha via project messaging on yelp. Not only did Vanessa contact me immediately, her tech (J) came out the same day in under an hour and was able to fix it in the same amount of time for a mere fraction of the cost. Even better, I got zero lies about how my door was on its last leg and a disaster waiting to happen, or that my how would complain about the fix because it would still show signs of damage like I did with the other companies. Instead, I see zero evidence that there was ever a dent and the door functions better than it did before! And all of that with an added year warranty on the work. Alpha proved everyone else a liar! I could not be more grateful! Just when you think honest companies didn't exist anymore....sometimes you're blessed enough to find a gem like Alpha Commercial. Skip the quotes- hire these folks! We used Toro Construction to repair a section of stucco retaining wall that had caved in at my mother's condo complex. Dan's quote was very reasonable, the job was done within a week of accepting their quote, the crew that day was wonderful, and the end result is fantastic. Everything done as promised, quickly, and with great advice about aftercare from Dan. Will attach photos so you can see the end result -- you'll have to look carefully, as the pattern they created with the stucco is identical to the original, done decades ago. The painter we chose also commented on how great a job this contractor had done. Thanks, Dan and crew!

Very satisfied with their service. Leonard came out to give us ideas on how to have our pool fence reinstalled after we had the pool deck replaced. Scheduled us for a Saturday, Chad showed up when he said he would and work tirelessly for 4 hours to finish the challenging fence reinstall. Another positive thing was that they both have a good sense of humor.

Marty and his team were fantastic. The customer service was impeccable, price was great, and the fence was installed in an hour flat. It's very good quality and I can sleep better knowing my 3 little boys are safe :) Thank you, Marty and team!

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

We requested many quotes thru Yelp and other sites. We requested M&M to quote and to perform an onsite evaluation.

M&M's Office staff (Chloe) was remarkably polite, courteous and responsive.

Johnny arrived to eval the problem with the iron gate, and within a few minutes, outlined how he would essentially re-engineer, disassemble, reassemble, and it would not only fix the aggravating opening and closing problems. In the end, it was done perfectly true, square, and spaced = above and beyond its original state. Superb workmanship and professionalism and NO price gouging like nearly everyone else.

Poor quality and terrible warranty. We spent over $8K for 2 doors and a gate  and they looked beautiful for the first 2 years. They are now 2.5 years old and there are rust spots. One door that is rarely used has a hole where the powered coating has peeled off. It is clearly from poor workmanship (they custom made the door) and they want $1200 to fix it. The tell you the warranty is lifetime but what they don't tell you is that is only on certain parts. The majority of the door/gate is actually only a 2 year warranty. For the price we spent, it should last longer than two years. I have life time warranty on power coating for patio furniture from another company made locally and it has never rusted or had issues. Way better quality. I tried to work with First Impression customer service but they a very slow to respond and refuse to accept or acknowledge that their work was crappy. Nothing we need fixed is covered by their limited warranty. I've seen better quality from doors and gates from home depot or Lowes. This is not worth the cost!

Wonderful process from sale to installation.  Excellent and beautiful product, and good price.

Juan showed up the very day I called and asked for an estimate, and provided it immediately while he was here.  When we decided to go ahead with the gates, he was immediately back on site, reviewing important last details to make sure we made the best choices.

The crew was back on site beginning the install just a couple of days after we finalized the purchase.  They quickly and competently installed the gates.  And for a fair price.  I'm impressed!
