Gave Larry with Glendale Welding a 1 star rating because --Larry came out very quickly to give us a quote on two gates, he was very professional and sketched out what they would look like. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. We got a bunch of other quotes on the gates we were needing . We were going to go with another company that had great reviews as well, however Larry contacted us promptly and was very persistent on getting our business and made promises to lower his original prices and promised the gates would be installed in 4-6 weeks. Mind you his lowered price was still much higher than any of the other  6 gate quotes. He made us feel at ease about his high quote. Gates were supposed to be installed at the end of January. We have called and texted numerous times to at least see a picture of our gates and he is full of excuses as to where our gates are. We paid him half the total last year when we hired him. He refuses to respond back to us as to where the gates are and when they will be installed. At this point we just want our money back and be done with Larry and his company. This is such a surprise as we read his other 5 star reviews. Not sure what is going on?
~UPDATE~ We have changed our star rating from1 to a 3 because we finally got our gates installed 2 months behind his promised install date. They look amazing and the quality is excellent! Just very disappointed in his lack of communication thru out the process and his refusal to take responsibility for his part in being so tardy in finishing our project.

Extremely pleased with the quality of the door and high level of service. Door is beautiful and very well built. Dennis was very helpful and accurate. Door was installed within the prescribed time frame.  Appreciate that they make a point to honor our Veterans. Thank you!

I called security garage door to install a complete set of new doors. Frank was so professional and did an amazing job(my doors look beautiful!) My neighbor also chose to use them to fix their broken opener and they were very pleased as well. I would definitely refer this company because of their great customer service and will be using them again as needed.

We got estimates from three different pool fence companies but ultimately decided to go with this one. They weren't cheaper but oftentimes you get what you pay for and this is not something you want to skimp out on. Leonard provided great customer service and was speedy in getting us scheduled for both the estimate and installation. The workers who installed the fence did a great job. Plus rather than being contracted employees they are actually employed by the company. They really know and believe in the product and customer service experience.

You can get a 10% discount for paying cash. We were also able to get a very small group discount for scheduling our installation at the same as another neighbor.  

I also recommend putting an alarm on the pool gate. It only costs $10-15 at any home store and having that extra alert system can give you more peace of mind and provide an extra step of safety.

Our pool fence looks great and we actually like the way it makes our backyard look more than before because it separates our different spaces well. Plus now we can relax and enjoy our backyard more knowing our little one is safer in the backyard.

This company was awesome!!! We spoke with many different companies before deciding on protect-a-child.  They had the best price, product, and customer service.  We even thought about putting in the fence by ourself but they had very competitive rate and we knew it was getting done right.  Marty was awesome.  At the estimate he was very helpful with all the questions we had and did not try and up-sell or push anything on us.  He said he was pretty booked up but would fit us in as soon as he could because he knew we had small children and bigger children and the house we just bought did not have a fence.  He booked us for three weeks out.  He made it very clear that they had no set time and to be available the whole day.  This was completely fine with us cause we really just wanted the fence and to make sure our kids were safe.  They called ten minutes before the install and said they were on the way.  Josh and Vic were very friendly, professional and worked quick.  They also answered any questions we had and made us feel comfortable.  They did have a 3% charge for using a debt card.  Overall the whole process was easy and better than we expected.  The fence looks awesome compared to those huge iron fences we are used too.

Far From Average is the company to have your fence installed.We needed a second opinion on our pool fence after having a rough start with our first estimate, Bryan was quick to come by and give an estimate and help us know what would work best for our situation.  We weren't sure how we wanted it to look or the height we wanted. From the start Bryan and his team were very knowledgeable and very helpful in making sure we got the Best for our situation. They will take care of you and find what is best for your situation. Would definitely recommend and are very happy with our results!

Mike is a true expert in his field. I've had him build me a few custom shipping and work tables. They have all turned out exactly how I wanted them/exactly what I asked for. He's accurate, quick, and easy to work with. If you need any kind of metal fab work done, Mike is your guy.

My spare tire mount broke and M&M trailer repair helped me pick out the right replacement, cut off the old one and superbly mounted the new one. He took great care to make sure it was mounted correctly. And even though it took him longer than expected he honored his price.   Highly recommend.

Ralph and his apprentice did a great job fixing our gate brace that was broken.  He kept in great communication with us, he was on time and finished quickly.

Absolutely love these designs! Amazing work. Can't wait to have friends and family start using them for all of their designs.

Just had our door installed. We are super happy with the results!

The buying process was great. Our sales consultant came over and spent almost 2 hours with my wife going over ALL the details and answering all her questions. We looked at several companies and ended up going with FISD due to how awesome the sales consultant was and the quality of their product over other companies, for roughly the same cost!

Almost all of these doors are handmade, to order, and customized to fit your exact opening.  The industry standard for the door to be installed is roughly 4-6 weeks after purchasing. The only (minor) ding I have against this company is the scheduling.

About 3 weeks out we received a call letting us know it would be towards the end of the week. We weren't given a specific day or time to go on. When we inquired if we could get a specific install time and day, the lady had an attitude and was a bit harsh about it.

I understand there are a lot of doors to get installed, but when you're paying well over $1000+ for a door, you expect a little better service on this end. I need to take off of work at least 2 weeks in advance to be home for the install and it's a simple consideration to provide a little less vague of an install date. I ended up being forced to take 3 days in a row just to cover the range of dates provided.

About a week out we were provided a specific day to install, but no time. Again lady was a little rude about it but we got a 4 hour window after some prodding. We weren't asking the world, just for specific day/time so we can plan accordingly, which shouldn't be an issue considering the price of the product being purchased.

The day of, tech called and notified we were first door of the day, 8am sharp he was here as he promised. Had door installed in just over an hour. He took his time to go through the maintenance of the hinges and lock assembly and cleaning of the screen. He cleaned up and was on his way. Tech was superb!

We absolutely love our new door! FISD deserves the full 5 stars, won't dock a star over a single lady who probably didn't have her cup of coffee for the day. Check out our new door in the photo gallery!

We have a door that was just installed beautiful door everything is what we expected for the price we paid very secure door which helps us breathe in some fresh air with the door being shut and so secure we had one minor issue with it but Kyle came out and modified the door which made it even more secure at no cost he was amazing with his Ability to modify the door. I have customers I will recommend the Security door to their house I feel 10 times safer in my house now especially when I get home.

Juan and his crew did a beautiful job on our pool fence!  We wanted some curves put into it and they exceeded our expectations!
